here's the thing

she's mad, she's upset, she feels like no one trusts her, she feels set up. she thought she was in the know until she heard people whispering about things she doesnt understand, until the secrets she thought she was keeping were talked openly in front of her as if her trust meant nothing, the secrets she kept in her pocket were nothing but stones, useless

she's alone for awhile, working away on her farm, setting up her new home and a mischievous demon of death plays some pranks on her, sets up a big scavenger hunt for her to follow... that she cant finish without help, the clues leading her to places she's never lied eyes on, rooms she's never been let into it.

she knows there isnt malice behind it, knows from a conversation with a demon that trust and knowledge are complicated things on the island. she knows she doesnt have the history. the bond that ties so many of the islanders together was cut off from her, barely.

and yet

she doesn't want to talk about it. even though people push and pry and want to know what's wrong. her feelings were just brought to the surface, she doesnt want to defend them. not when she has finally acknowledged them to herself.

so she'll say she's fine, nothings wrong. stop asking, she wont put her heart on a platter for it to be examined, debated and decided on.

and sure

she might snip and her words might sting and her tone betray her but she never said she was perfect. she has horns for a reason after all.

ok but blatantly and inarguably a lot of "accepting" parents would rather their children be ~nonbinary~ and/or ~nontransitioning~ than binary transgender, and this doesnt devalue exorsexism (not only because it is another form of exorsexism) but because it is a fact

all jokes aside, i understand why do-il and in-joo don't get together at the end. they need time apart to recover and heal from all the shit they've been through. neither of them, especially in-joo, are in the right headspace for a relationship. we know that do-il loves her (ms. go is evil but she's done so much for us) and he said he'll see her again so it's not like romance is completely out of bounds for them. they just need time.

I think even though Remus and Regulus are very similar there is one kinda big difference. I think it also has to do with the fact that Regulus sort of aspires to be like Remus.

To Regulus, Remus is just this cool, edgy guy who is just always moody and ready to fight someone, and I think Regulus really wants to be like that. But he also knows he can’t be just as edgy as Remus because Remus grew up in an environment where he learned that you had to be tough to survive and then was just able to speak his mind and be angry, whereas Regulus had to watch Sirius be severely punished whenever he stood up for himself, so he learned to be quiet and respectful even when he was REALLY angry, and he would do anything to avoid a fight.

So I think that Regulus had a hard time because his personality was actually really similar to Remus’s, but he just learned to bottle everything up, and that’s why he’s so much quieter, and if he senses that a fight is going to start he’ll stop trying to stand up for himself.

But I also think that spending so much time with the skittles helped him get some emotions out.
