Hey Nana sorry if this bothers you but have you ever heard of Night In the Woods?

I love this game to death. It's got a bit of a supernatural plot, but mostly it's about mental health and life? It hit really close to home in some places for me. You're Mae, a 20 yrs old girl who quit College halfway trough for reasons she initially doesn't feel like sharing with anyone, and got back to her small town with small town problems. You just go around town speaking to people or even just earing them (I suggest looking around a LOT, there's some really nice stories out there), and it's also a bit of a friend Sim in the way that you are part of a friend group of four people, two of wich you can spend more of your time with (the game lets you choose whoever you want every time one of these events comes and then just settles in the end for the route of the one you hang out the most with, but i suggest settling with hanging with one person from the start, and then just choosing the other for a re-play, as it helps understanding the individual storylines better.)

These two friends are Greg and Bea.

I personally suggest you play Bea's route first - not only because I prefer it, but because I think it's the character you would enjoy more and all around I think it's the better (even healthier) route.

This game really helped me on some of my mental health issues and it's in general a really good time. I raccomand it to you, but feel free to refuse of course <3

Fave chapter from your fic : 100% the Ken chapter in You Can Fall. I love that entire series but i feel like that specific chapter solidified its greatness for me. D&P's vulnerability, learning how to communicate, admitting to themselves & each other that its REAL. *chef's kiss*

Runner up for me is the chapter where Patrick went hiking and talked to Ben to say goodbye. When he realized that he doesnt have to choose between David & Ben but if he does, the clarity that he will choose David. Ughhh so beautiful

🥹 Well, this is incredibly nice of you. I really wanted to get the Ken chapter right - ultimately it was a way of forcing the issue of whether what they had was real, like you said. It's them choosing to stay and fight for their relationship.
