My Boujee wealthy dark academia shifting story

Before I started manifesting money in this reality, I was super obsessed with the old money aesthetic, gossip girl, nepotism babies, and just anything money tbh, because obscene wealth has always been fascinating to me. I was honestly bored and feeling materistlic when I intended to go here solely for the purpose of ending this exploration crave lol. I’ll just list some of the thing I had fun doing and my experiences. I won’t get into specific stories because they’re probably just as you presume.

I’m going to first run through some of the most fascinating things I experienced and before I tell personal stories.

-Going to luxury rooftop bars and having drinks with my friends! This is one of my first realities where I was of age and had an extroverted personality so that was fun

-I Joined a super cool and high class sorority at my college. I always thought the concept of a sorority was cringe but we did a lot of volunteer work, and the communal family you have access to is beyond what I expected.

-Going on fancy night outs and renting the most expensive hotel room to have a relaxing night with friends and/ or throwing a giant high class party was the weekend norm. My ambivert self here is shocked that this is how some people live everyday haha.

- getting to be be a mysterious rich person, and legacy student at my university had its perk.

-my parents owned vacation homes in the aesthetic countrysides of Switzerland and France. Here I didn’t get the reasoning of having multiple homes,but when you travel often, it’s not as impractical as it seems.

-getting used to flying private. Not having to go through tsa and having a corsage of people to have travel be as easy as possible was so fun. I don’t travel often here and when I do it spikes my anxiety. Being surrounded by people and having to do all those checks stresses me out, and not dealing with that made traveling so much more fun.

-my parents created a huge scholarship fund to help low-income families. With a certain amounts of students winning every month. This scholarship covers all fees for college from boarding to school supplies to tuition costs to meal plans. I got to also sponsor an endangered animals. My choice was pandas :)

-getting to go to go to the met gala!

-Buying expensive rare and ancient plants! My dad bought a $20,000 olive tree for my mom to plant on our property, and it’s worth the price. Nature to me will always be priceless

The first thing that I think of when I reflect on what it is like being in the top .01% is the access to resources. Having access to a sizable personal fortune gives me the freedom to purchase anything I want and to travel anywhere in the world. I can indulge in luxuries that some people can only dream about.

It also brings with it a considerable amount of responsibility. As part of this elite group I have an obligation to use my resources to better the lives of those around me. For example, I have been able to make donations to charities and invest in causes that are important to me. I believe this is a great way to use my wealth to make a difference in the world.At times being in the top .01% was overwhelming. There is a certain level of pressure to make sure that my money is invested in responsible and rewarding ways. As well, many people view the wealthy with suspicion and resentment, which can be intimidating at times.

Anyways I want to expand on my experience attending the mega gala, bc that was easily my favorite night.My experience attending the Met gala was super cool, and a night to remember no matter what reality I’m in. I was so honored to be there for the first time ever. I vividly remember I was wearing a gorgeous navy blue satin dress with glittering jewels around the edges. The glittering jewels were a perfect complement to the gold sequins that adorn my dress as I made my way to the main event.inside, I was amazed by the opulence of the venue and how much effort has gone into creating such a beautiful spectacle. Everywhere I look I see incredible art installations, shimmering lights, and luxurious furnishings that all make me feel like I'm in a wonderland. To top it off, there's was incredible live music playing and the electrifying atmosphere that is enough to make anyone want to get up and dance.Of course, it wouldn't be a true Met Gala experience without some of the amazing food and drinks. From delicious hors d'oeuvres to exquisite sweet treats, everything was artfully prepared and presented, definitely making it a night to remember.

As the evening progresses, there was so much more to take in. Celebrities were mingling, taking pictures and making speeches; even just getting a chance to be in the same room with them was an incredible experience.My favorite moment was meeting a person I’m both of fan of here in this reality and that reality as well. I vividly remember Lily-Rose Depp gracefully walking through the hall, meeting people one by one and graciously talking to each of them.finally, it was my turn to meet her. She warmly shook my hand and asked me how I was doing. We began talking, and I found myself instantly at ease around her. We spoke about roles we've taken on in the past, our respective passions in life, and our favorite movies.

I was completely swept away by her enthusiasm for life and her willingness to connect on a deeper level with those around her. As we talked, I noticed that she kept casting glances around the hall- which I later found out was because she wanted to make sure that everyone present was enjoying themselves and feeling welcome. At the end of our conversation, she thanked me for taking the time to talk to her and added that if I ever needed anything, she'd be there to help out. I was holding back my giddy smile, trying to be as normal as possible, as I thanked her for her kindness.

I also vividly remember my upbringing and just how crazy wealthy people live.

Growing up, much of my time was spent attending events and dinners with other businesspeople. Although these were often overwhelming and boring at first, I gradually became more comfortable in such social settings and gained connections of my own.

Meanwhile, I also had access to mentors and peers from well-connected families. This allowed me to gain invaluable advice and knowledge on how to succeed in the professional world. In addition, to no surprise there were times when I was given advantages in certain situations due to my family ties. Doors that may have been closed to others opened up easily for me. This made it easier for me to take advantage of certain opportunities and advance my career. While this is true, it can often be a double-edged sword. Being a nepotism baby can make it hard to prove yourself, as there's always a nagging feeling that you got ahead because of a lucky birthright, but that of course in no ways compares to being born without connections. I think that’s something wealthy people tell their kids so they don’t feel like they didn’t work for anything because even if it’s true you don’t want the people you love to feel that way. Also, there's sometimes an element of guilt present due to knowing that others may not get the same opportunities as you. It can be difficult to separate what you've earned from what was given because of your family ties.

I was also lucky enough to have grown up in a huge mansion in the heart of Los Angeles, with all the bells and whistles that come with it. From the grand entrance walls adorned with family portraits and art to the private screening theaters and sprawling gardens, I'd say it's one of a kind.

The perks of living in a mansion come tenfold; I was on Tik tok the other day and saw people complaining (humble bragging) about the hardships of having a huge home. Growing up in one and having the experience now, it’s actually very common for rich people to portray their life as harder than it is to seem more human. It’s something we’re taught to do when we’re young so when I see it happen now, I’m like eye roll… I know exactly what you’re doing

Anyways I loved my house ! For starters, I loved my sunset pool that overlooks the city. It's the perfect place to enjoy a summer day in California with great views and a built-in Jacuzzi. Of course there's also my personal chef who helps whip up amazing meals for me and my family.

Having house help has made growing up here a breeze. Everyday necessities like laundry, chores and even grocery shopping are taken care of for me, leaving me more time to focus on things that really matter. I could write a list of things I needed, and the next morning everything I wrote would show up just like that, it was actually pretty dope. Not to mention the immense amount of help I get from my parents—they are both incredibly successful, so I'm always surrounded by people who, like them, have achieved incredible success.

More than anything, the best part of living here is that I get whatever I want. Shopping sprees, spa days and extravagant getaways are just a few of the indulgences that come with my lifestyle. I'm truly fortunate to have experienced a life of luxury and opulence—it's definitely given me a greater appreciation for all that I have been blessed with.

Lastly, I’m a big foodie no matter where I go so I’m also going to list some of my fav 5 star restaurants! I’m sure most if not all exist here as well so, if possible I would try them out!

sparkling forest: as you can tell from alisha's. quaint description. that's where pixies live. they're very colorful and bubbly and. well. children's fantasy esque. do not be fooled because "the pixies are SO fucking annoying you think it'd be a nice place for a picnic but NO you turn away for ONE SECOND and your sandwich is GONE and theres a little pink PEST fuckin GIGGLING at you" (pulls alisha away from the keyboard). there are also creatures that are Very Cute but . Very Sharp. so uhhh be careful

whispering forest: one of my favorites tbh. it's like. Far Away from other societies? on the border of The Worlds- okay so imagine a venn diagram right. one circle is earth one circle is etheria one circle is asteria etc (those are our 3 main dimensions(?) so theyre the example). the whispering forest is like right on one of the the borders of etheria/asteria but technically in etheria but also like at a point nemo super far from Everything place (not an island but you get it right) (also i could go in more depth about the world connections if you want!!)

ANYWAY back to the forest. it's Dark and Spooky and...telepathic. it's where spirit elves & spirit foxes live (theres other wildlife but not like. sentient ones) who are both telepathic species. they speak different telepathic languages(?) though but can learn each other's. they can't really. speak out loud? their vocal chords and mouth structure just aren't made for that. the trees are also telepathic-y but in like a plant way so it's not like full thoughts its telepathic Vibes. and if you're not used to telepathy and you go there hearing the wind whistle through the trees combined with the Vibe Of Telepathy sounds very eerily like people whispering bc your brain is trying to make sense of what it's. Vibing. which is why it's called the whispering forest. and also why no one outside of it really goes in

the dead forest: it's. uh. dead. but alive? i don't think anyone truly remembers what happened to it but some sort of Magic Nuclear Fallout left everything dead-looking but just barely alive And Wants You Dead. as in look that tree's just sticks Oh Fuck Them Branches Are Coming For Me. there are even zombie/skeleton creatures held together mostly by magic that also Want To Get You. so.

oh also asteria is Mostly Forest (yknow how this world is Mostly Ocean?) and it's just. alien. like forests here can have big trees right? okay so like triple that. them trees BIG. and almost all the wildlife have white spots on them that can appear to glow in the dark (to human eyes). the plants too can generate light for human eyes but the normal light sources (sun, fire) generate light that humans can't pick up or generate very very little. so humans and (moon) elves evolved to see different light spectrums. which is pretty cool

hmm what other fucked up biomes do we have. well there's living islands. they're actually Creatures that float along and like. yknow how some turtles and stuff grow moss on their back? that but so big that it's like a whole ass island. not sure if that really counts as a biome? thankfully they're not usually predatory but if you hurt it. well. earthquake + raising sharp spines. it will not go well. so usually just leave them alone just in case

those are off the top of my head that aren't like. Earth Biomes But With Fantasy Creatures. ig weird shit also happens where the world borders are thin/collide but i wouldn't really count that as a biome.

I really should have gone to sleep, but, I regret to inform you, the Fallout show is really fucking good. Ironic as hell to have it on the Vault Tec channel.

There are callouts and references from New Vegas and the Commonwealth. There's not exactly easter eggs, they're the bedrock of the plot. Fallout logic applies. Every conceit that has to explain why the nonsense of Fallout exists is an integral part of the story flow in the show. Better done than in FO4, tbh!

Familiarity with the games will for sure give you lots of background information on who's who and what they're doing. That was cool I thought. I couldn't help but wonder if any of the artists got any kind of remuneration at all for having their work copied down to the millimeter. They said that Bethesda was "in the room" on art direction and stuff but I don't know what that means, really. I stopped thinking of any of those companies as anything but little Vault Tecs themselves years ago.

On reddit people's complaints are all highly logical - fucking triflers. This is Fallout. "Why didn't they XYZ? How did the dwellers know about ABC?" if it made a whole bunch of sense it wouldn't be a Todd Howard story. But yeah visually thematically and textually it is Fallout, to a T. I'm actually annoyed at how fucking entertained I was. Todd Howard will be insufferable forever after this, and assume all his ideas are good. Psh.

random spoilery theories and observations:

That first ep was frustrating in that my Vault dwellers would've eaten those bullshit raiders up in seconds. Scars? Tattoos???? oh no no. Instant chunks. My vault is no-nonsense. If any of them had made it past that first security checkpoint, it would've just been to get gaussed into several pieces by Ethel or mowed down by Big Dave's minigun. Anyway.

I also kept wishing someone would scrap. Not fight: pick stuff up. It just kept occurring to me because everything was so exactly game-perfect in appearance. That's 2 Steel and an Adhesive, Lucy! cmon grab it for your backpack! Get that machete!!! free machete! 1 Copper in every bulb on that crate, move it into a safe container! until nobody turns red in your reticle! Get with it!

When Lucy talks Maximus into their alliance and they do the warrior's handshake, the Battle Hymn of the Republic played loud in the score out of nowhere, never to return in season 1. Is Max going to found the Minutemen? I don't really know the timeline well enough to know how that fits together - but it sure was emphatic.

The Ghoul is a crit banker! Ha! Lucy seems to have Chem Resistant, Maximus is climbing the Power Armor tree… nice. LOVED how other-Dogmeat used the right tactics on the Gulper, they have that same weakness in Far Harbor, sensitive lil arms, tag'em for instant stagger.

I was glad they held back on directly showing Deathclaws yet, but set up the promise of them for the future, giving exposition for those who didn't bother to read terminal entries on their playthroughs.

I was thinking that the Vault 31 mystery was going to reveal synths, but it went more to the plot lines that you find in the environmental storytelling - Vault Tec's nefarious technocratic scheme that you piece together from terminal entries on side quests. Interesting. Is the Enclave a BOS thing? I never played a fash character & I can't take orders so I don't know that quest tree too well.

I loved that all the armor pieces were game standards, made it super easy to figure out who was who in battle scenes. I would definitely be a Leather Right Shoulder guy. Some like the Sack Hood with Hoses / Metal Chest Piece thing; I get that. It works. Personally I would not go with the red eye shadow because everyone would assume I was a cannibal but you do you.

New Vegas is up next! There's no way this doesn't get its three seasons at least.

Damn the imagery on this MV goes super hard i love the non-traditional stuff you'll find scattered around at a glance the ones i spot are: buhddist funeral rites with from, what i can count 39 candles which can mean thank you… those funeral flowers look like white chrysanthemums (grief, honesty, truth which the later two may be nods to the fact that they're not in their right minds), pink, and purple carnations which symbolize capaciousness and unpredictability Kuko also references gokurakujoudo which is the most well known higher buddhist celestial land known as the land of bliss so basically he's saying that he's so hot shit that he'll reincarnate into the holiest of holy lands Ragnarok is the end of the known gods according to nordic mythology aside from like. two gods and two humans which means either Jyushi is a ghost as shown in the scene or he's just that cool and survived Kuko's second verse is a reference to old paintings that depicted monks training their spiritual disciplines by mountainsides. if you're an old soul like me, think Libra Dohko's Mnt. Roshi Hitoya's second rap scene is mimicking an egyptian depiction of a weighing of the heart, specifically it seems to be parodying the scene found in the Papyrus of Hunefer. interestingly, the three opponents are on the side in which the feather of maat is commonly depicted on, the thing which the heart is weighed against while Amanda is the heart Hitoya and Kuko's spots on the papyrus is where anubis would be, setting them as the judges who preside over this battle. Jyushi is also sitting where Ammit, the devour of the dead, would be depicted sitting. Are Doppo and Hifumi okay???? Please??? you can't just cliffhang that???? how dareeee

Its just a lot warmer and more comforting in my opinion, super sweet and heartwarming. a lot more electric guitar as well

I'm so glad for their first feature episode I really enjoyed BAT! The song was such a banger and the imagery along with it so evocative. I really liked the episode how it brought everyone together for a chaotic jaunt. I hope next week with dotsuhompo will be just as silly

tell me about your plants!!

(SORRY ANON I WENT TO BED BEFORE I SAW THIS! BUT I LOVE YOU!!!)

I have 7 plants in my room at the moment that I really really love, although I have a couple others around the house that I couldn't fit in anywhere else rip (including a massive monstera that is honestly outgrowing our tiny house, no windows or corners are big enough for it!)

The tallest plant in my room is one of my snake plants (Dracaena trifasciata) Not a great picture of it but it's doing really well! Its weird, i've seen some places say snake plants (or Tigers Tail, also a cool name) grow slow which is just not true, they grow incredibly fast if kept well especially over the spring and summer! The new leaf on the righthand side of the pot only started sprouting a couple months ago! The newer leaves on the bottom left are actually a separate plant I decided to put into this pot since there's still lots of space and snake plants often are kinda clumped together and have offshoots around the main oldest bits of the plant. Tbh, I should have left it longer to repot, I got too excited :' ) Snake plants actually like being quite cramped and you can/should leave them a good long while before repotting but mine luckily didn't see to mind! I really love the patterns on snake plants leaves, they are much stronger and lighter when the leaves are new and then do fade with age but they're so lovely :' )

I have a second snake plant that I rescued outside someones university accommodation when i was a student- They left it probably because they thought they killed it, but snake plants are very hard to kill and specifically come from environments where they get very little water, so tbh it was absolutely not a lost cause so it was sad they left it behind! That tall leaf at the back thats out of frame? One of the newer leaves that only started growing this year- shows how fast they grow! You can see which are the oldest leaves at the bottom, the damage on them is from its old home :' ) But it's been very happy! Did you know snake plants only release oxygen at night? They've adapted to do it because it stops them from getting dehydrated during the day! It's also good to dust the leaves or use a damp cloth to wipe them, helps them make the best use of the sunlight they get, I also give them a liquid plant food in the spring/summer, not that they super need it but just to give them a lil boost.

One plant that im very very proud of at the moment is my Silver Satin Pothos :' ) (Epipremnum aureum), sometimes called Devil's Ivy which is kind of a cool name. Most people probably have seen a Golden Pothos, which I think is the most common variety around, but my favourite is the Silver Satin variety because of the cool-toned colours and the amazing leaf patterns! Pothos love climbing and in the wild climb up their host trees (and can kill them if left unchecked...), i've been trying to think for a while of where I can move mine to so it can climb but I still haven't totally decided! In the direct sunlight, the leaves glimmer a little which is very very pretty. The difference between the size of leaves on a houseplant Pothos and a wild one is also insane, their leaves get absolutely Huge in the wild! They can also flower but it is rare, they have a hormone deficiency in their genes which is why it is so rare, although you can artificially get them to flower by spraying them with a gibberellic acid mix thing, I don't know a ton about it though, I'm happy to leave mine alone haha.

Here's one of my slowest growing plants though, a Green Trumpet Jade, or Finger Jade (Crassula ovata)! It's technically a Gollum Jade, but the interesting difference is caused by a mutation due to a bacteria, mycoplasma, which makes the normally flat leaves curl up into tubes! I can never get good pictures of my one but its a really decent size and I've had it for years, my oldest plant! Gollum Jades can live 100+ years and are sometimes passed down between generations!! In the very bottom of the picture you can see the babies, the leaves are fragile and pretty easy to knock off, so when that happens I just pop them into some soil and quite often they will begin to root!

Okay so this is my newest plant and it has absolutely exploded, its been so fast growing! It has doubled in size from when I got it at the end of May. It's called Inchplant, or Wandering Spiderwort (Tradescantia Zebrina) it also has an unfortunate common name that is rightly being phased out/called out more recently. A lot of people have these as hanging plants, but there's not really anywhere to hang plants in my room since it's small so I've opted to tie it to supports to encourage it to grow upwards instead. I got this one for the colour because it's just amazing! Never seen such pink/purple leaves before : ) The pink comes from anthocyanins I believe, specifically Inchplants like mine are bred to have higher levels of anthocyanin, the only way this really affects houseplants like this is they need slightly more light because less green in a plant means less chlorophyll.

Ahhh I feel like this answer is getting kind of long now so I might stop there hhdhfkj, my two other plants in here though are a Dragon Tree (Dracaena Marginata) which hopefully one day will move from window to floor as it gets bigger! And also my quite new Parlour Palm (Chamaedorea Elegans), it is a pretty popular houseplant but also slow growing, so it takes a long long time to get as big as some of the ones you see in fancy house decor photos, but I'm hoping mine will get to that point one day!

Sydney Vivid trip! A quick trip, whole thing took about... 30 hours, including travel time, but otherwise extremely fun. Thursday night was dinner at an Indian restaurant (beautiful, delicious food, but even the 'mild' was Extremely Burny), the Light Walk, and the most incredible gelato I've ever tasted, Friday had the Australian Museum and checking out the new minerals, delicious salad bowl from Fishbowl, and more gelato :D

If you're in Sydney (or Italy), go to Rivareno Gelato holy shit. The vegan hazelnut they had on special this week will only be around, I think, another couple of days, and is worth the trip tbh. I had it with the chocolate sorbet on Thursday night, and coconut sorbet on Friday.

For the Light Walk, we started at the Circular Quay end and went as far as Barangaroo. Didn't do the paid stuff, although I would have liked to see the gardens as well; unfortunately it just was going to be a little too much walking (as it is, I did about 6km). Here's what we saw, in order:

Between You and Me: This was actually a projection on the pylons of the bridge, but we watched from the other side of the harbour for the best view. Gorgeous animations of birds. There's an app you can use to access the audio for it, curated by Dr Ann Jones, one of my favourite nerds.

Sonder: Light tubes at the far end of the station structure. Pretty, but lots of people around it.

Inside Out: On the facade of Customs House. Banging soundtrack, gorgeous light. What a cool way to literally bring Florence Broadhurst's patterns to life!

The Hive: Definitely face the proper side for this, haha. Lovely lights, cool meaning.

Losting: Very cool to look at, but a bitch to photograph - too many mirrors! Was like a little pocket into a hidden world.

Supernova: Lowkey and fairly still, but the holes in the metal gave this really neat effect of flickering when you walk around it.

Barerarerungar: On the facade of the MCA, this was one of my favourites. Gorgeous light presentation and another really cool soundtrack, we stayed on this one for a bit.

Life Enlivined: This is the John Olsen stuff projected on the Opera House. Absolutely beautiful, although the sound app wasn't working for it, alas. Best view is from across the harbour right near Barerarerungar, if you're any closer to the actual Opera House you won't see it right. Goes between more abstracty, directly art-inspired displays, and cute animations.

Waterfall: Very lowkey. Neat, but not much to it.

Biotechture: Some lovely light, great kind of impression of the building being peeled back.

Superorganism: Lit-up tree! Simple, but extremely pretty.

Dandelion: This neat dome of these kind of starburst things. You could actually go inside this one, although we didn't because it was very crowded.

Monad: Absolutely gorgeous projection of circles, lines, orbits, stuff like that, projected on a screen of water. Mum was absolutely transfixed by this one in particular, haha.

Bump and Sway: Another fairly lowkey one, walk by and acknowledge it as you go, I guess. Light poles in water.

Ghosts: Fairly subdued, just some lit-up paper cranes.

Spirograph: Light fountain! Very pretty but surprisingly tiny?

Night Walkers: Frogs :D There are actually a few of these scattered around, not just in Barangaroo Reserve. They were super cute.

Night Whisper: Smaller installation, but just very aestheically appealling. Lightbulb surrounded by moths, about how we're all drawn to light.

Dune: Shifting triangle-square-y shapes, kind of hypnotic tbh o.o

The Last Ocean: One you can walk on! It's made of reclaimed ocean plastic. Was neat seeing the lights shifting under your feet.

Vivid House, feat. Infinity, Ama, Australian Oceans, and Invincible Corals: A mixed collection of nature-oriented stuff projected on four walls around you. My favourite was Invincible Corals, which showed these gorgeous growing corals, showed a depressing bleaching event, then regeneration with the spawning. Infinity was… pretty, but, um, not the best-animated, tragically!

What Lies Beneath: Very lowkey, it was just some stuff projected on rocks on the waterline and kind of… hard to make out, unfortunately.

The Tunnel: Brightly-lit neon tunnel in different colours and patterns, including rainbow. Had this fun part where you could actually control the patterns.

Lilies and Fish Are Jumping: Last two, kind of entwined. Lilies were these big floating flowery things, and Fish Are Jumping was this fun little thing surrounding them, which had these little darts of light shooting across arcs of wire, which looked a lot like jumping fish in the dark.

My favourites: Between You And Me, Inside Out, Barerarerungar, Live Enlivened, Monad.

Hey y'all, just got back from watching the rest of manlybadasshero's omori lets play and i thought i'd share some of my thoughts about the game! (NEEDLESS TO SAY, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!)

So let's get one SUPER ULTRA MEGA BIG thing out of the way first, i would've 100% enjoyed my experience a lot more if i wasn't such a huge scatterbrain and spoiled the big twist at the end for myself. Though in my defense i kinda wasn't expecting the game to get so popular so quick when it first came out, i first heard of the game through manly and i thought it was just another obscure indie game like what he always plays. Aside from that though....I LOVED IT!!!!! It tugged at my heartstrings with it's accurate portrayal of mental illness and the heartwarming moments between sunny and his friends, it really reminded me of my own childhood in a lot of ways. I've found myself relating to all the characters in some sort of way, especially aubrey. Idk....just the way she lashed out on others throughout the game really spoke to me in a weird way......either that or it's just because i like rebellious characters in general (the fact that she has a pet bunny is a plus for me, i love bunnies!)

Ngl, i don't cry to video games often....i'm pretty sure the only games i've ever cried to are undertale and pokemon sword but even then, i was crying about pokemon sword because i was proud of myself for completing the game....and honestly, i'm glad omori is one of those games that make me emotional like that...even if i already knew sunny killed mari, even if i already knew basil killed himself in one of the endings. Though that could also be because my dog wouldn't shut the fuck up while i was watching the last few episodes and i was just stressed out about that

If i had to pick: i feel like i prefer headspace over real world, i was an undertale kid back in the day so i love me some quirky characters and fun worlds! Though tbh i feel like omocat WANTED her players to like headspace more since she explicitly said at one point that she specifically wanted to make omori a game so that people would be able to FEEL what sunny was feeling (that's the best way i can explain it i guess) that being said; i'd say my favorite characters are aubrey, spaceboy and recyclepath. I've already said what i've wanted to say about aubrey earlier but aside from that, i think she's really cool and VERY me-core! Same goes for spaceboy, i'm a huge sucker for bright colors and space-themed characters. Not to mention recyclepath is a really unique character, i've never seen a character based ENTIRELY on recycling before! Plus his coat and glasses remind me a LOT of oliver tree and i mean....hey, i like songs like alien boy and life goes on lmao

Ngl while i DID get the endings spoiled for me, there was still a lot of stuff that was a HUGE surprise for me! Like BRO I HAD NO IDEA KEL AND HERO HAD A BABY SISTER!!!! I mean....i DO vaguely remember someone mention sally in a youtube comment section but i had no idea what they were talking about and i was kinda just confused (iirc i may have even thought that kel and hero having a sister was just a weird dream i had) but i mean hey....as the youngest sister of 3 siblings who was born when my mom was in her 40's myself, i appreciate the representation! /hj

I actually first got into omori because a good friend of mine was into it, it started when he changed his pfp on discord to basil and we had a really short conversation about the game afterwards. A while later i saw an omori edit in my youtube rec and i thought "oh yay it's that game my friend likes! Let's watch it!" And the rest, as they say, is history! Dunno why the fuck it took me a whole ass year to finish the damn playthrough though

Speaking of which, i DEFINITELY wish that manly showed the hikkikomori route bosses in his playthrough. Seeing thoses cutscenes of the slime girls creating roboheart, mutantheart and perfectheart REALLY got me pumped to see the boss fights! Oh well....

All in all, omori is a SPECTACULAR game and i'm glad i decided to check it out! 9/10!

Some thoughts on the Elves in ROP so far. Spoilers for up to ROP s1e3.

So, first off, I am first and foremost a DWARF FAN and only peripherally an ELF FAN. Dwarves RULE. Dwarves are the best. Elves, they’re okay. The Eldar are flawed in interesting ways and tend to have a whole tree lodged up their ass any time they talk to a non-elf. ROP gets some elf characterization right, but sometimes I feel like it’s a bit lacking. So now I’m going to talk about elves.

Elf things I’ve liked: I liked that the straw that broke the camel’s back for the elves was being asked to cut down a tree. Capture them and tie them up and force them to dig holes for orcs? Whip them and chain them? Insult them constantly? Fine, they’ll bide their time until they can escape. Ask them to cut down a tree? NO. that’s TOO FAR. Love it. Also, I like that they had a plan to go summon more elves, and were planning around orcish weakness to sunlight. Good ideas. They also had some good elf skills that give us the idea of “elves are super duper skilled at stuff” - like being able to yank on their chains and whip them to hit people with them, and so on.

Elf things I didn’t like: Okay, so I feel like the non-MC elves are basically mooks who are totally weak. Galadriel’s elite group of ranger elves who accompanied her to the end of the world were totally getting bodied by that troll. Now, trolls are dangerous, sure, and it’s not like they were going to be able to trick the troll into walking into the sunlight or something, but at the very least I wanted to see the elite elf warriors land some blows on the troll, stick some arrows into it, etc before realizing it was too tough. Then Galadriel and show up and behead it in a really cool way. But instead they just sorta flailed around and were getting completely wrecked. Is that really the best we can do? Arondir’s bros all got killed but at least they got to make some cool moves before they did, and his boss managed to get out of the hole.

Unrelated Hobbit Thoughts: I’m kinda bored of the hobbits already tbh. I am ready for Nori and her pal and the unknown man (my current theory: Blue Wizard, the constellation points to the other Blue Wizard who is in the southlands) to strike out on their own. Some of the hobbit conflicts also seem contrived, like surely they’ve had hobbits with sprained ankles before and didn’t just leave them to die horribly, especially since it seems like this is a community of 100 hobbits. Let’s get on with it!

Overall I’m having a good time though, I just like complaining heh

I may have spoken about the Core 4 here and there, but it's probably been a while. I tend to just...kind of hand wave past things that don't interest me and that collective doesn't really interest me.

Believe it or not, I don't mean that in a bad way. I love snc, I'm happy they're happy, and as I mentioned before, I am the Switzerland (aka neutral territoy) of the girls...I just don't really have a need to get excited over a group of friends that post innocuous friend content, like making puzzles and getting fall down drunk at festivals. I mean, cool for them, happy they're thriving or whatever, but I'm not super invested.

I also don't really have an opinion on snc including them in their videos, mostly because they aren't in every one. I like that snc switches it up, so no one pairing of theirs gets stale (the way Jake and Corey did after a while). While there are a few people snc work with and collab with, or have collabed with in the past, that i actively dont fuck with (as the kids say), the girls aren't on that list. I don't mind them when they are there, I don't mind them when they aren't. Neutral territory.

Now, I assume when you say "the whole situation," you mean Colby and his inability to not vaguely start some kind of absurd shipping shit storm at any given opportunity? Because personally, I'm sick of that whole damn thing, lol.

I want to preface this by stating: I don't think there's anything going on with him and Stas, but if there was- I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Man could be romancing a tree, for all I care, as long as he's happy.

That being said- you brought up Shea for a reason, and its a valid one. This situation is feeling a little...familiar, shall we say? There's a lot of vaguery and egging on of the shipping and all of that going on, and thats gets me annoyed after a while.

That's not really the reason I disliked Shea, so much as the fact that she was manipulating young girls in her group chats and telling them private things she shouldnt have been telling them, and openly hating on girls Colby was associating with and then falsely claiming feminism when she got called out. The weird shit she used to do on social media was just the icing on a cake already full of piss and vinegar, really.

At some point, the both of them (more Stas than Colby from what I've seen, although he certainly threw a lit fucking match into a sewer with that whole "malishka" thing) need to realize that they're causing a lot more of the bad kind of drama than the fun and harmless kind, and knock it the fuck off. Stas...I don't know what her motivations are here, and I don't particularly care, tbh. It's getting tiresome.

As for Colby...good god, that man knows how to flip flop a crowd, eh? He started the day with everyone feeling bad for him because of how down he's been, and ended it with half of the fandom wanting to kill him for once again starting a grease fire on the kitchen stove and then running out of the house and going across the street to the park to peacefully do a sudoku puzzle while the community burns down around him.

Man should give social media classes, lmao.

Anyway, to summarize: my opinion on the Core 4 and the horribly written Core 4 soap opera going on right now can be summarized with one word- meh. 1.6/5 stars.

Okay now that I have seen the episode in full, my thoughts:

Pros:

1.) It was a full battle and it was really close. Iris legitimately might've won if Cynthia hadn't mega evolved Garchomp. I'm glad that she at least got to have a full battle with skill showcased, which is way more than what Alan got, my poor boy.

2.) Cynthia whispered, "You're marvelous, Iris" at one point which was so heartwarming, and also so true.

3.) I love that they included a part where Iris connected to Haxorus using her special power. She is The Girl Who Understands the Hearts of Dragons, after all, and I'm glad that was showcased on the world stage.

4.) The music was great, but a particular shoutout needs to go to the ominous fucking organ and chanting that started up when Garchomp came out LMAO. Cynthia was channeling her ancestor Volo for that and I about died laughing. (Also I'm pretty sure that was TSME music that started up when Cynthia mega evolved her Garchomp but I'm not positive.)

5.) Alan got lines! And in particular, even though he a.) has a personal connection to a garchomp back home, and b.) is a mega evolution specialist and researcher, he still didn't automatically throw his lot in with Cynthia when she mega evolved Garchomp and even countered Steven by saying Haxorus had so much potential. Alan was lowkey rooting for Iris. What a king.

Cons:

1.) Dragonite went down in two hits . . . seriously? Really? Sure one was super effective, but that bit was over way too fast and felt really rushed for time. Dragonite was jobbed hard and didn't deserve such shame.

2.) Where tf was Cilan?? Iris was in her most important battle to date and he was, what, fishing?? Did he drown in Kalos? Was he hit by a train? Did Xerosic find and murder him? I need answers.

3.) Cynthia's mega evolution invocation, if we can even call it that, was lame as hell. "I will defeat you with all my might" . . . really? That's the best you can do? This is the woman who, in the same battle, gave us lines like "fall, stars of the heavens" for regular attacks like Draco Meteor, and then she has such a lame-ass mega evolution invocation . . . for reference, in the anime trainers who use mega evolution all have an invocation that represents their feelings toward mega evolution. Alan's is famously "respond to my heart" because to him, mega evolution is about the bond between him and Lizardon. Steven's is a line about the stones because that's what he's most interested in. Lysandre's was all about power because to him, mega evolution is about more power to kill people with. So you would expect Cynthia to have a cool one . . . and then she didn't, smh. As a mega evolution nerd, I was disappointed.

4.) Iris lost. I had a feeling she was going to because Cynthia is so popular, and honestly I wouldn't want to see Ash beat Iris again (and we know he has to win to reach Leon, so there are no stakes in any of his battles tbh), but it was still not the result I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I love Cynthia. I'm a lesbian, of course I love Cynthia. But I love Iris too and I feel that it would have meant so much more, emotionally, had she defeated her senior. Plus, I hate seeing my favorite characters cry their eyes out, so there's that, too.

5.) They really just had Ash stand there like a tree while Iris bawled her eyes out, huh . . . you know, I was really mad about that earlier today and I still think it's ass, but as I watched the episode in full tonight I realized that he was smiling while she cried, and that made it hit me. It's because he's the Alola Champion. And in SM, the player character (who also becomes Alola's first Champion) just stands there with a vapid smile on their face while seriously traumatic and upsetting events occur right in front of them. Like Lusamine ranted about how she had no children and how ugly and worthless Lillie and Gladion were to their faces and the MC just stood there like ":)" So apparently, now that Ash is the Alola Champion, he does the same thing. Iris is sobbing? It's all good! He smiles while elevator music plays in his head. This is totally fine. (It's not fine but this is how I'm coping with that asinine decision.)

Anyway, I've got an idea for a little tag I want to write to make myself feel better after this, so stay tuned for that. I haven't written anything in ages and I'm sure that my skills are so rusty they could infect the entire internet with tetanus at once, but I am going to do my best.

Finished the campaign in Last Epoch last night. I'm a big fan of weird timeline nonsense, so I had fun with it. I'm spoiled by Blizzard having epic boss fights and cinematics, though. There's two major boss fights in the campaign and I wish their moves were telegraphed better because I died a lot to just things I thought weren't going to hit me. It was unfortunate all I could really do was kite and run in circles while my mob of skeletons fought. They were still neat fights in concept, but I shouldn't have to dodge a frontal cone attack when I'm behind the boss, you know? It also ends in a really weird place. I don't know if they mean to add more story later, but it drops you right at a big twist and plot height. I get that it's a good point to usher you into 'well to go after that evil lady, you need to do dungeons of timelines that are messed up and gain power!' But it's very anticlimactic by doing so and leaves pretty much all of the story up in the air Nonetheless, the combat is fun and responsive. I wish the map didn't fully reset every time you use a portal but I learned to deal with it. I'd recommend it for anyone into ARPGs like Diablo, but tbh I don't know how many people here like those games. I like the same feeling from Warriors games where you just shred through groups of enemies like butter, plus RPG elements, so I enjoy them a lot. It's a perfect in-between for Path of Exile and Diablo (the former of which was way too complex in its skill trees for me to even attempt)

Oh I also liked the worldbuilding but feel like it just scratched the surface. I'm huge into 'the world is separated into the domains of specific gods' and one phase of the world is like that, but kinda throttles itself on the lore of them. Like all I could really glean is Lagon is a tentacle mass of the moon, seas, storms and his people are merchants and sailors? Rahyeh is a fire bird of the sun but doesn't seem to have much else? Majasa is a naga of opulence, but her people are mostly scholars? Heorot is an ice elk centaur of the hunt, snow, nature and his people are warriors and druids? Like there's some odd overlap (specifically of merchants) and Rahyeh is only ever seen with mercenaries and bird people, not humans, unlike the other three. It feels like there's so much there but it just got stunted somehow. There's also Eterra and Orobyss who are life and death, light and void, no real explanation needed. And the way that void crumbles life as the gods war with each other is super cool but… The story literally ends on that note of figuring out it all .w.;;;;

soulmate au; where time stops for a few seconds when you first touch your soulmate. 

gathering herbs was never an easy task, but it was necessary.

as a healer and a bubu pharmacy employee, it was quite normal. it came with the job, after all. so, here you were, walking around in the eerie abandoned village in wuwang hill. although it was daytime, the fog and darkness in the region made it hard to see things from a distance, making you walk around helplessly as you looked for some violetgrass. 

you didn’t particularly liked being here, but it was your job. the mysterious atmosphere made you quite scared, especially as you were completely alone, since qiqi went to mingyun village to gather her share of herbs. maybe if i had a soulmate, they could come with me, you thought. soulmates existed, but they weren’t quite that usual. maybe one in a hundred people had soulmates, at least in liyue. 

they said time stopped when you first touched your soulmate, quite literally. and that’s how you knew someone was your soulmate — you just had to touch them.

just thinking about it made your heart flutter. having a soulmate who could help you when you’re scared seemed like a good deal. this hill was scary, and the feeling of not being able to see things properly made you anxious. if anything were to appear, like a hilichurl, you knew it would be hard to defeat it. you were a healer, not a fighter. it simply wasn’t really something you liked or enjoyed, so you didn’t really try to learn anything beyond the basics.

you suddenly hear a noise, snapping you out of your thoughts. it was something moving in the grass, but it was too foggy for you to identify what it was. there was something nearby, and you knew it. you looked around, finally spotting a silhouette.

as you reached for your weapon, the silhouette disappeared. the next thing you knew, you were on the ground. 

you opened your eyes, whining in pain. now that it was closer to you, you could see it was a cryo whopperflower. you turned your head in fear and looked for your weapon, but it had been knocked out of your belt and was now laying on the ground, far away from you. even if you managed to get your weapon, it wouldn’t be of much use, since your hand and ankle hurt a lot from the fall.

as the whopperflower prepared itself for its next attack, you closed your eyes. is that it? you thought, the sudden realization hitting you. is this how i die?

suddenly, a warm breeze meets your skin. after a few seconds, you open your eyes, only to see the cryo whopperflower on the ground, defeated. you look around, finding a girl with brown hair with red tips.

she turned around to look at your frightened self, giving you a smile. she wore a hat with a symbol you knew you had seen before, and, as you digged through your mind to find out what it was, realization hit you. she was the director of the wangsheng funeral parlor, hu tao, as the hat indicated. you had heard of her, mostly from baizhu, who seemed to be always annoyed at the director’s persistence to give qiqi her final rest, but you had never really met her. 

“hey there! what were you doing wandering around wuwang hill? it can be quite the dangerous place, you know…” hu tao stopped her sentence, looking at your injured hand. 

she walked towards you, and then lowered herself, as if to check the injury.

“t-there’s no need to check, i’m a healer, i can just-” you said, holding your injured hand with your other hand, but stopped suddenly as she touched you.

a weird feeling made its way to your heart, and the wind seemed to stop blowing. hu tao felt that too, as you both looked around, only to find that everything was frozen in place. the grass, the leaves of the trees, even the animals in the area. you looked at hu tao, and she looked at you, both with widened eyes. 

and, as you looked into her crimson eyes, time seemed to be back to normal, just as fast as it froze. yet, you couldn’t notice a thing. 

you could only stare in surprise as she smiled softly.

“i’ve been waiting for you.”

Sooooo whatya think of the new episodeee?

Oh it’s definitely my favorite episode of the series so far, i was having such a good time at every turn. I’m glad i went out of my way to avoid spoilers, cause i was glad to actually be surprised by some elements on first watch.

I think this had by far the best opening for an episode so far, we finally get back to the villians, we meet the coven heads, we get insight on belos’s plans-

and then belos gets constipated, which starts getting into the more character driven lore, which is the best part. You instantly can tell GG and Kiki have some bit of tension between them to be Belo’s favorite, though granted i wonder if hunter is the only one to know belos is cursed and actually just always insists to help belos with his fits to prevent others from seeing them.

Including kiki.

It’s honestly unclear how aware anyone is that belos is cursed, like him eating pailsmans is apparently not something he hides, but like....i feel him being cursed is something that people would know universally if it got out...so i’m left wondering if anyone knows besides hunter.

Regardless, belos turns into a goop monster with an angry side, and i guess his mask doesn’t transform with him compared to the rest of his body so he breaks it again because i guess he goes though masks like crazy.

Hunter turns away in this scene from his outburst and even though he’s masked here i can already tell he’s most likely pained in these scenes. Like he’s probably seen this happen so many times, and i can’t imagine it gets any easier for him, it’s probably awful to watch belos suffer like this for him (Regardless of the abuse)

And to be honest, it seems pretty painful for him, i think this ep seems to at least confirm whatever this thing is that takes over belos’s body.....belos never actually wanted it in the first place. 

Yeah so after Hunter tells belos there’s not enough trees to medicate him anymore, we’re hit with the “UNCLE”. Which, when i first watched it i needed a second to even process the fact they confirmed their relation.

and i was like “CLOSE ENOUGH”, not his kid but uncle still works just fine for me, i’m just happy my assumption they were related actually came to ahead.

And i rewatched this episode a few times, and on second watch i realized more what happened in this scene. Hunter was talking about his interest in wild magic, and making more pailsman to help belos, and some method that could heal him and as soon as belos looked at him he instantly shut down.

He was clearly rambling about wild magic cures for belos because of his interest in it, and then suddenly remembered his uncle hates wild magic and felt super awkward.

It seems highly likely his interest in wild magic came from trying to cure belos and spending a lot of time reading up on the stuff. 

And then we get hit with the whole “Our family is dead because of wild magic” line, which.....i’m curious to know what happened there. But it does at least explain why belos feels how he does, if wild magic both killed his family beside hunter AND cursed him in the first place. We’re just gonna need more info on what exactly happened.

Also while Belos is def abusive and does not treat hunter how he should, this scene actually does read off to me like belos does care about hunter to some degree. If belos is cursed and his curse works in similar ways to how Eda’s curse works, then it’s worth reminding ppl that eda mentions early this season how stress can amplify the curse even more.

And sure enough, belos goes goopy on hunter’s shoulder all of a sudden when he grasps him. Which could be considered a sign of stress and that the idea of hunter dying or being in danger actually does stress him.

You could very much also assume this is just due to his curse not being fully handled and just getting worse, or that belos only cares about hunter for selfish reasons....but i’m not taking anything off the table here.

Belos can still be a shitty uncle, and still care about hunter, these aren’t mutually exclusive traits. But we need more episodes for now on this.

But anyways he asks hunter if he can rely on him, kiki is pissed......and we move on.

So i’m glad luz’s impulsiveness is addressed a ton in this episode, they actually bring up a lot of good points. That luz has no plan, that the time she’s spending here might render moot if she goes back to earth, ect ect.

Hunter even calls her out a lot later for not thinking things through, it’s a whole deal in this episode. I’m glad it was brought up cause it’s actually worth asking a lot of these things.

the set up here works, they actually made a good reason for why a pailsman didn’t bond with her. Speaking of which the adoption thing is cute and i love it, it’s a great idea. The designs are all very cute and fun.

Bump face reveal was a lot for me to process, but i find the idea of his pailsman being a pet that can help with his disabilities a good idea.

Also like, i did find it odd that they got staffs so early because we’ve never seen kids their ages with them before, but i guess it’s a new tradition? Does everyone at hexside now have one?

Honesty not sure why batqueen left the nest there overnight, i meant i guess she assumed they were safe with that shield but in context i dunno why she didn’t take them home after the school day was over.

but whatever, luz stays there overnight hoping  a pailsman will bond with her and GG just kidnapps them cause of pure luck on his part a bunch of pailsman were in a vulnerable spot tonight.

So GG continues to be charming, by whistling the theme song and then being blasted off his ship hilariously, before cockily teleporting himself right back on it seconds later. Like he and luz have great banter, he’s so extra like this it’s so funny, and god he’s so FAST with that staff it’s scary but so awesome.

Yeah so then hand dragon crashes them and i was so excited cause it meant face reveal. Poor dude looked so in pain and then we find out kiki tried to effing murder him because of course she did. But like, i think killing your boss’s nephew is the WORST way to get a promotion tbh.

(Also i got confused for a bit cause his mask has always been drawn as a mask, but now it’s a helmet in this scene for whatever reason but-)

Anyways, face reveal, Like honestly ppl weren’t too far off with their guesses, really the only thing people didn’t get was the tooth gap (That was fair tho, we couldn’t have guessed that). But it did make him even cuter.

like the banter is funny, he licks her hand, she slaps him, he looks SO pissed at her for this mess.

and i guess that outfit is his under armor apparently.

He’s lucky she didn’t run away immediately and followed him, but maybe he assumed she would since she had no where else to go.

Also his expressions in this ep are glorious, these had to be fun to draw.

Also we find out that the coven team members have never seen his face i guess? They just assume he’s a silly kid and are awful to him, so i guess he’s not only the youngest member of the coven but he never really shows his face much.

(”Call your parents”, ha ha.....whose gonna tell them who his uncle is?)

He is however, REALLY good at parkour and he’s fast even without his staff, so he’s well trained alright.

And then they reveal he’s not magical and i was SO happy cause i was so sure something was up when he wasn’t doing magic like the other witches despite his pointy ears. So they outright confirmed what i thought.

Hunter is pretty smart tho, like he can tell luz wouldn’t hurt him and wouldn’t flee so he knows he has the high ground here. Like he might be being a bit of a dick, but to be fair luz has been nothing but a dick to him throughout the whole episode (Everyone in this episode has been a dick to him tbh)

They team up and i get excited cause i love this kinda stuff and it gets more wholesome because hunter is super interested in her magic, he thinks it’s cool and you can tell how much he actually loves wild magic but then again...shuts himself down because of belos making him fear the stuff.

An then because luz asks, he tells her his backstory.

honestly with how this world treats people who aren’t magically powerful, living and growing up in a world that would find you useless sounds....awful. Hunter must be an anomaly around here, human blood or not.

Luz coming here to learn is different then growing up in a world and being the only one with no abilities and no future without them. Belos provides him with magic and a future, it’s no wonder he stays with him despite everything.

the whole “Found me” thing is weird, cause belos implies they’re blood related and hunter makes it sound like belos semi-adopted him. Which....if he did i dunno why “Uncle” and not “Adopted dad”, but ok....guess that’s for later.

Apparently hunter is important for something tho with the “Titan has big plans for me” thing, not sure what, but-

But yeah as soon as Hunter talked about wanting to make his own future and Rascal tried to land on him i knew EXACTLY where this was going, it was so cuteeeeee. The lil birb wanted to be with hunter, that’s so wholesome.

And he’s so terrified because of belos and what wild magic did to him, the poor bab.

But yeah, luz then trusts him with his staff back, because again....impulsive. But hunter does actually ask if she’s sure, so he might as well be asking if she trusts him.

The plan goes ahead, and hunter nearly betrays her.

though granted, hunter never promised her he’d stop and let her take them away, the truce was supposed to last till kiki was stopped and they were gonna fight out who got the pailsman. But it does bother luz cause she was hopeful he was better then this.

But just like he did before, she calls him out and he doesn’t betray her, because he’s ALSO too nice to do it, just like he said she was. He says his name (Which also took a moment to process), and then beats the crap out of kiki while letting luz get away and protecting her like a badass.

He might not have magic, but he’s good at fighting

like he can easily teleport to luz and take the pailsman, but he doesn’t, he lets them get away and luz knows this. Even though she also knows hunter has to go back to the emperor too and they have to separate.

It’s only slightly bitter terms, because in the end he came through for her and she knows it.

honestly, the worst part is i can’t even be mad at hunter for it, i’m sure he was terrified to fail belos. Both because he loves him and doesn’t want him to suffer....but also because of well...being punished. Really says something when his near betrayal doesn’t even make me mad at him, and i can understand why he nearly did it.

He let her go, knowing he’d be in SERIOUS trouble and that it would hurt someone he actually loves, so....ouch.

so yeah at this point i knew rascal wanted him so it was only of matter of what happened next.

Which was, luz getting the wood, which i like more anyway. Eda and King doing this offscreen and coming home like this is actually very funny, and honestly i appreciate the message of it being ok to wait.....means a lot to me.

yeah so belos is like...being an ass, like the kid tried his hardest, you don’t need to hit him with the “Is this the thanks i get?”. He’s a kid and he’s trying to cure you you dick, give him a break he doesn’t remotely have to help you like this.

Also apparently belos has not even told hunter HOW this happened, like...dude. Hunter is trying to be entirely reasonable here and belos spikes at him, which does imply some physical abuse though the only reason hunter doesn’t get a new scar is because he moves.

but how he reacts implies this has happened before, he is bracing for impact and he flinches. It’s pretty sad tbh, especially since hunter loves him and belos’s respect means something to him.

Belos is such an idiot, like c’mon dude, hunter is trying to help you and you don’t listen to him you dick. Kid shouldn’t have to say sorry for anything he did nothing wrong, he was just trying to help.

Anyways, he gloats at kiki (So at the very least she knows what he looks like under the mask), which he deserves a chance to do anyway. So i guess he didn’t rat her out for trying to kill him, personally my guess why is blackmail.....he was gonna hold it over her head to keep her from doing it again and threaten to tell belos.

But kiki quickly tells he LET the pailsman get away since he was the one to fight her (Curse his cute loose hair strand). So i guess now they have dirt on each other, so that’s fun.

His room is adorable, though the med kit by the bed is concerning.

Rascal comes for him and it;s so cute....though you can tell hunter nearly hurts him on instinct because of force of habit, but it’s so cute how he cares and how the birb loves him and is his new staff.

it was well hinted to as well, it’s so subtle, but the bird being cheery, curious, and his constant habit of escaping boundaries was perfect for hunter. He represents what hunter wants to be and why they got matched is done so well, all without explaining anything.

Hunter indirectly stated his deepest wish, to make his own choices, and rascal resonated with that. 

can’t wait to see where this goes.
