You are allowed to lie down or sit down to take a shower. You don't need anyone's permission, and no one is going to stop you. The "Shower Police" aren't going to come and arrest you. There's no law that says you need to stand to take a shower. If standing is "too much," then sit down or lie down.

I want to make sure you all understand that i do not encourage self harm, nor do i romanticize it. The reason why i draw the scars on Lucy is that, the trauma does NOT define her and that she's herself despite all of it. She still wants to show her skin like anyone else and i think it's okay. I know i haven't revealed much of my character's personality and story and lore, but she is not perfect and i want to make sure you all understand that. BG3 Thoughts

So I was thinking about the 6 Origin Chars and how nicely they broke into thematically-resonant pairs that would also make good ships, and innocently wondered if those were the most popular ships for the relevant chars. So I clicked over to the AO3 page, and

I get it, he's popular, but literally 8 of the top 10 ships involve him. Fine, I think, already dispirited by how predictably focused on white dudes fandom is, I'll check the individual character tags.

Can you tell which of those screenshots is from which individual character's tag without checking the image descriptions? Because I can't. The only chars to show up more than twice on his own list of "most popular romances" are Astarion and Gale, the two white dudes out of the 6 chars.

There's 4,100 Shadowheart fics on AO3, and roughly 2,000 are Astarion/Tav, Astarion/OFC, or Astarion/Gale. Maybe 1,000 are Shadowheart/Anyone, anyone at all.

I get that the sad white boy vampire is popular, I do. But there's a number of unique and interesting characters in this series, it'd be nice if people could spend some focus on them.

At some point early on before the discovery of Ash, while Maverick was presenting some research he had of the rift, Darrel thought it would be 'funny' to pour black paint on him. He thought it was just a harmless joke, not really asking Mavey if he was even alright with it. This is where Class Clown happens y'all (Animation I wanna make). I've changed my ways, I'm no longer a Mavey hater, I love this precious man now. He didn't deserve all the british jokes I made on him on IG. But that doesn't mean I'll simp for him. My love is not out in the open for him, I'll just be intrigued in Maverick.

That feeling when you take a shower after...well, it's been a while, and you feel like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon of filth. It really is the little things that make a big difference. Just putting that out there. Also, don't be afraid to try new soaps/cleansers, new sponges/cloths/poufs/etc., new settings and temperatures, etc. Don't be afraid to shower sitting or lying down if you need to. Don't be afraid to brush your teeth or listen to music while you shower. Take a shower whenever it works for you, whether that's first thing in the morning, right before bed, or at 3 in the afternoon. Get curious about what works for you!
