at work i keep getting shown the “correct” ways to do things like sweeping the floor and it's driving me a bit crazy. like i can see you're doing it faster than me but can you let me do one thing at my own pace. please. because im doing it better, even if it's slower.

#i worked as a residential house cleaner because my mother was one #if she saw the way they want me to clean things she'd have a brain aneurysm #i work in a kitchen now btw #also its kind of like im sorry boss but thats not how my brain works #if you hand me a broom and tell me to sweep i won't be able to stop until the floors are clear enough to my personal liking #they swept so fast and aggressively for max 10 seconds. respect and everything but i took my time in a different section and guess what its #more clean #so let me have this #that in particular irked me for some reason. other corrections they've given me its fine idc #but my mother would set brooms on fire she only believed in vaccuming #so if you give me a broom i have to make the floor clean enough so my mother wont astral project into my work place to scream at me for not #doing a good enough cleaning job #no one show this to my boss though please its just between us #my text #this whole tantrum could also be because once i do something one way i can only do it that way forever and i dont want to change #im not a fast worker. but i promise i do my very best

The problem when you move stuff around so you can vacuum is... now you need to put stuff back and that sucks

I haven’t seen my horse since Tuesday so I’m jetting out to the barn to pick out her feet at least cos it’s been muddy as hell and her feet were thrushy on Tuesday :( I put medicine on them then but I hope it didn’t get too bad over this week…

Anyway then I’m going to come right on home and drinky some wine and MAYBE make myself ramen or something and watched the virgin suicides and girl, interrupted for the 20th time hahaha <3 and if I have the energy I’ll take a bubble bath :)
