The Academy Is... and MTV have teamed up to bring music into your lives - literally. You've listened to the records, watched the videos, memorized the lyrics, gone to the shows and cheered us on. BUT -- Now we want you to create something with us from the beginning. The premise is simple: you take the snapshots, we'll write the soundtrack.
You send us your photos on summer friendships from graduations to the inevitable roadtrips. We're looking for clever, funny or just plain great pics dealing with saying goodbye to old friends and hello to new beginnings. They can be anything you want, from solo or group portraits, breathtaking landscapes, or that one action frame that embodies the moment better than anything else. We're looking for all different types of shots - so be creative, but keep it safe. It's your job to interpret the theme with your photographs and we'll take care of the rest. Using these photos as inspiration, we'll take it to the studio and write the soundtrack to your lives. The best part is: when its all said and done, your photo may be aired on MTV as part of the video.

Alex, 31, was arrested in December 2017 and charged with use of a computer to facilitate child sex crime, child enticement and attempted sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age while in Wisconsin.
The Sun can exclusively reveal he has an updated mugshot on his South Dakota Sex Offender Registry profile taken on April 9, 2021.
In the rare photo, Alex appeared mad as he stared solemnly at the camera for the shot.
His status is listed as “compliant.”
This is the first photo of Alex since his divorce from Chelsea’s former best friend Brittnee.
The Sun previously reported Brittnee filed for divorce from Alex in February 2020.
Brittnee and Alex got married in 2016 with Chelsea, 29, as a bridesmaid.
Brittnee stood by him after the 2017 crime.
RadarOnline reported at the time that a detective responded to a Craigslist ad posted by Alex that read: "Business stud seeking female or select couple… I [am] staying in town for the [night] for work. Have a nice hotel room and would like to have a little warm fun while it's cold out? No endless emails or games. Again seeking female or couple that likes to have discreet hot fun. Be clean and normal.”
The detective responded to the ad and posed as a 14-year-old girl named "Arianna," according to court papers.
The officer wrote to Alex: "Hey. I like your ad. How r u… I'm 14. Is it ok to talk?"
Alex replied: "As long as you're not the police. Talking is fine."
The officer sent Alex a photo of an underage girl. He responded to the picture, "Nice, you're cute." He also sent a photo of himself.
Alex wrote: "Being you're 14 just makes me nervous. Don't want to get set up by police. When you finished with class. Want to come to hotel after?”
He then began to talk about oral sex with the “girl,” and asked her for “sexy pics.”
When he went to pick her up, police made contact with him and he admitted he was there to meet an underage girl.
Brittnee was pregnant with their a son at the time of the arrest.
Alex was found guilty due to a no contest plea for child enticement, while the other two charges against him were dismissed.
He was sentenced to six months in jail with five months stayed, which means the sentence is frozen "pending further order of the court.”
As for the remaining 30 days, Alex was allowed to complete 240 hours of community service instead.
He is on five years of probation and is to have no unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 18, except his own child.
Alex is listed on the South Dakota and Wisconsin sex offender registries.
Brittnee opened up in December about just how difficult 2020 has been for her.
She captioned a photo with her 3-year-old son: "This year has been so unbelievably challenging in so many ways... I’ve dealt with some of the hardest things in my life and they seem to hit wave after wave. 2020 has come with change, death, heartbreak.,. made me question myself daily. Today- I am just so thankful to be here and to have the opportunity to spend this day with the one I love most! Keep your loved ones close.Tell them what they mean to you… if I’ve taken one thing from any of this.. it’s the realization that the reason things hurt, is because you cared. Because you loved. Because it mattered… That’s ‘living.' And there is no shame in that.”
Brittnee moved into a four bedroom, two bathroom $134,449 home in May 2020 after their split.
She has posted multiple photos on social media with friends and family.
Brittnee appeared on multiple episodes of Teen Mom 2 through the years as one of Chelsea’s best friends.
Chelsea has multiple photos with both Brittnee and Alex on her social media, though she hasn't shared pictures with them since the arrest.
Kailyn, 29, took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight with her fans about her unexpected absence from this week's episode of the MTV show.
The mom of four explained: "I chose not to appear in tonight's episode because I didn't feel that the content that was being asked for was genuine or authentic to who I am."
She alluded that MTV producers wanted to gear her storyline towards her children's fathers, while the reality star wanted the focus to be on her business, house and kids.
The Coffee Convos podcast host boasted: "Truthfully I make more money on my podcast than I do on an episode of Teen Mom."
Kailyn assured fans that she was not "cut out" of the episode and the decision had nothing to do with her Teen Mom castmates despite fan speculation.
"It's literally because I chose to not film things that didn't feel genuine to me or my story."
She added: "I'm choosing my piece of mind over a paycheck."
The Young and Pregnant star admitted that she has accepted the choice to not appear in all 12 episodes of the reality show.
"I want to continue filming for Teen Mom as long as it feels genuine and real and if it doesn't then that's okay for me to skip out on an episode."
Instead, Tuesday’s episode of Teen Mom 2 heavily featured Jade Cline’s Brazilian butt lift and recovery process while in Miami with Briana.
Some viewers tried to get to the bottom of Kailyn’s absence, as one person asked on Instagram: “Did bri cut kails part?”
Briana responded: “We sure did.”
Kailyn then weighed in on the drama, as she took to her Instagram Story to slam her co-star.
While tagging Briana, new Teen Mom 2 star Ashley Jones was heard in the background of Kailyn’s video calling the mother of two a “punk a** b***h in the motherf***king comments. B***h, put a name on it!”
Briana fired back by claiming on her Instagram Story: "Kail doesn't want to film about breaking and entering into Chris' momma house and beating him for cutting his child's hair."
Briana continued to assert that Kailyn wasn't on the episode because she refused to film about the arrest.
The mother of two slammed Kailyn on Instagram for not wanting to share her authentic life on the show, writing: "Like someone is filming on the show legitimately filming about a wallpaper color choice when she could be filming about a domestic abuse situation with her baby daddy that I was told she was trying to hide.
"This is back when a child's hair was cut as was allegedly arrested after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with with Her baby daddy."
Briana continued: "While I understand all of us want to be shown overcoming our struggles and that we all take pride in our names (and someone takes pride in her brand and her podcasts) at the end of the day she shouldn't try to cover up the real her or things that are going on in her real life."
Briana asked: "Why should she get away with just talking about buying a dream house and letting her son design a bathroom when real life problems actually are occurring in her home?"
On this week’s Teen Mom 2, Jade, 24, underwent a Brazilian butt lift, 360 liposuction, including on her neck, and had fat transferred to her breasts.
Dr. Oliver Chang of Spectrum Aesthetics in Florida performed the procedure, as he was filmed answering her questions before the surgery.
The Sun can exclusively reveal the Department of Health filed a dispensary action against Dr. Chang in 2019.
According to the complaint obtained by The Sun, Dr. Chang performed “suction assisted lipectomy,” which is the removal of fat, of the “abdomen, flanks, lower back and chin.”
There were “no complications” during the procedure and the patient was discharged on the same day.
She had a followup appointment for the next day.
According to the complaint, the patient “noted bleeding from the operation site on her way to her hotel and lost consciousness.”
She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was diagnosed with “hypovolemic shock.”
She was given "multiple blood transfusions" and was transported to a different hospital for additional treatment.
The patient was released two days later.
The complaint claimed Dr. Chang was unreachable during the ordeal.
The documents claimed: “From on or about December 8, 2018, through December 9, 2018, Respondent failed to respond to multiple attempts to contact him with regards to Patient R.M.’s condition.
“The prevailing professional standard of care required Respondent to be available and/or to have a designee available in the event of an emergency or complication.”
The Department of Health requested the Board of Medicine impose one or more penalties.
The penalties included: “Permanent revocation or suspension of Respondent’s license, restriction of practice, imposition of an administrative fine, issuance of a reprimand, placement of the Respondent on probation, corrective action, refund of fees billed or collected, remedial education and/or any other relief that the Board deems appropriate.”
The case remains ongoing, a clerk for the Department of Health confirmed to The Sun.
Dr. Chang did not respond to The Sun's request for comment.
On the show, Jade was discharged directly after the procedure, as she cried in pain while in the car with her mom, Christy, and her stepdad.
Though one of the nurses told Jade’s mom the pain would “subside,” it only got worse, as Jade called it “excruciating.”
Jade said on the episode: “The pain in my a** and legs and back is f**king excruciating. I can’t even sleep. I can’t get comfortable. It’s even worse than I thought."
It’s an end of an eyebrow era.
The Sun reports that Jenelle’s makeup business is now out-of-business, putting a sad end to her former goal of bringing her own questionably shaped eyebrows to the masses.
JE Cosmetics has had its business license “dissolved,” according to the North Carolina Secretary of State. The company— which Jenelle tried for years to make “happen”— was supposed to be Jenelle’s brand of various makeup products, but only ended up producing one major product: a poorly received eyebrow kit.
JE Cosmetics failed to file its annual business report in April of this year, and is now considered to be out of business.
Back in 2019, Jenelle was fresh off of her firing from ‘Teen Mom 2’ and was vowing to put all her efforts into making her makeup brand a success.
JE Cosmetics never seem to bring in the dough for Jenelle. In fact, it seemingly brought nothing but problems, as her launch party in New York was cancelled by the salon that was to host it (due to the salon learning that Jenelle’s husband David Eason had killed her dog just months earlier). Later, it was discovered the Jenelle had sold only about 150 kits in the months after the “big” launch.
Jenelle was constantly dealing with negative online reviews of her eyebrow kit, with some customers claiming to have found mold, fibers and other unsavory items in their makeup.
Jenelle ended up being dropped by her manufacturer a few months in, and her efforts to hawk her kits on her own flopped.
In May 2020, she claimed to have received a “new” shipments of kits that were ready to be sent to her poor-eyebrowed-fans; however, Jenelle’s trusty haters pointed out that the dates on the boxes of kits confirmed that they were the same kits from 2019.
In October 2020, Jenelle promised her followers that there were “new JE Cosmetics products coming to you soon!” Some lip glosses were shown on the company’s Facebook page, but the products were never spoken about again after that.
Jenelle finally gave up her dream of shilling subpar makeup, telling The Sun this year that she decided to put JE Cosmetics out of its misery.
“I basically I stopped it myself. I still have stuff to sell, and I was still actually selling products, but it’s really hard to keep up with without a team,” she told the site. “I was the one packaging everything, shipping it all, restocking it, it was really hard to keep up with it without a team.”
These days, Jenelle is focusing on her social media channels— from uploading uploading videos of herself crying on YouTube on YouTube to shaking her rump on TikTok.
Aspiring politician and Number One Celebrity of Our Nation Farrah Abraham has been ordered to pay nearly $700,000 in unpaid rent on Furnished by Farrah and Sophia Laurent Children’s Boutique – her two out-of-business Texas stores.
You may remember that Farrah refused to pay the rent for the stores, which resulted in her being sued back in February 2019.
According to The Sun, the former ‘Teen Mom’ star has been ordered by a judge to fork over $673,205.72 due to her failing to pay rent from September 2018 to present. Although her stores closed down years ago, Farrah’s rental agreement was apparently signed for five full years.
The landlord for the two spaces claims that Farrah breached two lease agreements, having entered into an agreement for Suite 400 on March 4, 2016 and Suite 300 on April 8, 2016 – each for 60 months. At the end of September 2018, Farrah allegedly “ceased businesses operations and abandoned both Suite 300 and Suite 400.”
Farrah’s former landlord requested $485,805.47 for the first lease agreement, $25,458.36 for the second lease, $13,150.93 in tenant improvements, $16,067.85 in commissions, $101,514.40 in liquidated damages, $30,839.50 in attorney’s fees and $369.21 in costs – this request was granted April 27 by a Texas judge.
As The Ashley told you back in September 2019, Farrah successfully managed to dodge receiving the legal documents for her 2019 lawsuit for months, resulting in the judge ultimately ruling that Farrah was allowed to be served lawsuit documents at her dad Michael’s house.
Farrah has yet to comment on the judgement against her.
Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star Kiaya Elliott has dodged some serious charges stemming from her arrest earlier this year.
As you may recall, Kiaya landed behind bars March 25 in Virginia, facing one count of Pointing/Brandishing a Firearm; and tow charges of Class 1 Assault/Battery – all listed as misdemeanors. However, according to court documents, both assault and battery charges as well as the firearm charge Kiaya was facing have been dismissed, Starcasm reports.
Kiaya, who took it upon herself to post her mugshot to social media, did not explain why she was arrested at the time, though court records state that her arrest stemmed from an incident that happened March 21. The Ashley’s behind-the-scenes source told her that the incident when down while Kiaya was attending a party with her on-and-off-again girlfriend Teazha. A fight broke out, in which Kiaya was involved. (Click here to read all the details of what happened.)
While producers were made aware of Kiaya’a arrest, The Ashley’s production sources tell her it was not filmed for the show.
