When Bucky asks if Tony can move in with them, the first thing that comes to Steve’s mind is Over my cold dead werewolf body.

Except he can’t say that, because Bucky and Tony have been dating for three months and all their other housemates have already agreed to the phoenix staying with them. On top of that, Tony’s just been cut off by his father for insulting a senator on live TV and is basically homeless, so either Steve lets him move in or Bucky moves out.

Doesn’t matter that Steve and Tony can’t stand each other, or that Tony has stolen his fraternity brother, best friend, and, incidentally, the fellow werewolf Steve has been secretly in love with since he was nine.

So instead what he says is, “Sure, that sounds fun.”

Steve is looking for his jumper, his and his alone, Tony thinks the jumper he's wearing fits him just right.

Tony before college didn’t know what a laundry day was, he never really needed to worry about if his clothes were going to be clean for him the next day because he knew somebody would do it.

Steve on the other hand is very used to laundry day and maybe having a single pair of track pants to wear on said day, it’s certainly different now that there are enough clothes in his wardrobe that he wouldn’t have to do laundry for months. 

This walk-in wardrobe is where he currently stands wrecking through each wrack looking for his jumper, the jumper that was warm and blue and embarrassingly themed around Captain America, himself. 

“Steve, babe, have you seen my cufflinks, the lego ones Peter got me?” Toy asks nonchalantly yelling out over the penthouse, walking into their shared bedroom. When Steve sees him his face lights up seeing what Tony is wearing.

He then goes dark, just slightly, “you stole my jumper!” Steve excuses Tony pointing towards the embroidered jumper that clearly has C. America on the sleeve and the shield stitched on the back. So what that Steve wears his own merchandise, and maybe it was a custom order on Etsy but it’s still his, gifted by Ned and Peter the last Christmas.

Tony’s hands raise in the air, “all my jumpers were in the wash, I didn’t think it would be a big deal, sorry,” he begins pouting sitting on the puff that is in the middle of the wardrobe, yes the room is that big. 

Steve breathes one big breath in and then one out trying to plaster a smile on his face, going into Tony’s side of the closet Steve rummages before finding a jacket of Tony’s an ironman letterman-themed jacket with Stark printed on the back. Attempting to put it on Steve mutters, “how would you feel if I just put your clothes on!” 

Putting a hand over his mouth Tony has to stop himself from laughing as he watches Steve attempt to fit in his Tony-sized jacket. Tony wants to be mad or sympathise with Steve but he really finds himself doing the opposite, “Steve, honey, I don’t think you fit.” Steve ever the righteous puffs out his chest ignoring Tony’s comment.

“I want an apology,” Steve mutters taking off the jacket now that he knows it doesn’t fit and it’s not ever planning on fitting.

With a sly smile, Tony shrugs his shoulder, "I'm not looking for forgiveness. And I'm past asking for permission." So proud of himself Tony is smug at the comment he has just made, “besides I think it looks better on me,” he smirks twirling in the mirror with the overside jumper. 

So Steve jumps at him pulling him to the floor rolling around and play-fighting before ending up just laying on the ground laughing, “we are way too old for this.”

Tony nods curling into steve’s side, “definitely.” And that’s where they lay calm and collected.

“I’m still not sorry,” Tony mutters and the whole argument happens again.

Steve just wanted to settle down, retire and get away from the fast-paced life of war and saving the world. He was ready to pass on the mantle, Sam Wilson being the perfect candidate to take on the role.

It was nearing the end of the eighties, and Captain America had been lost to the world for forty years, and then served the country for another eight after getting out of the ice. Steve had done his part, and he was so sick of fighting, so sick of following orders.

Steve wanted to be in charge of his life, to feel a sense of control over his own decisions, and that's how he ended up at Howard's place.

The Stark's welcomed him with open arms, allowing him a reprieve from the pressures of being Captain America. It was just meant to be a quick stop on the start of a journey to finding himself. He was gonna road trip, discover new things, and hopefully, find himself somewhere on the road.

But his stay was prolonged when he met the Stark boy, young enough to still be jailbait but with a wicked sharp mind and dangerous charm that ensnared Steve from that first encounter.

Steve knew he was hooked, and so he stuck around.

Tony was only seventeen, but he was graduating from college with a master’s in engineering, and a minor in sustainable energy, and despite the distraction the good captain posed, Tony finished out his last term at the top of his class.

Steve attended his graduation, standing in the back while Tony's parents cheered him on from the first row, undeniably proud of their little boy.

The celebrations were planned to last all week, but the very next morning Tony stepped out onto the porch to find Steve waiting for him as promised.

"You leaving already, Capsicle? That eager to be rid of us, huh?"

Steve chuckled, shaking his head because they both knew if that were the case, Steve would have left months ago.

"Come for a ride with me. I was thinking of just driving around and seeing where the road takes me."

Tony raised a brow, as though this wasn't something they'd been planning for weeks, as though he wasn't eager to be pressed up close to the man who had taken him from an innocent little boy and shown him the pleasures of loving a man.

"Is Captain America inviting me on a road trip?" Tony sassed. "How gap year of you, Cap."

Steve rolled his eyes.

"Just get on brat."

Tony grinned, slipping behind him and wrapping his arms around his waist without any hesitation.

"What? No helmet?"

"Kid, just because I'm retired doesn't mean I'm boring. Living on the edge is what makes life worth living."

Tony's arms tightened and he bit his lip, pressing up closer and resting his head on Steve's broad back, his cheek pressed up against leather.

"Okay, then, let's go find some danger, old man," Tony said, the words coming out soft, almost reverent.

Steve smiled softly, kick starting his engine.

"Yeah, kid, let's go find us a reason to live, huh?"

Steve left the war because he didn't want to fight anymore, but he found something new to fight for, a life to live for, happiness to chase.

Steve didn't want to fight anymore, but if it came down to it, if anywhere ever tried to take Tony from him, ever tried to hurt his boy, Steve knew he'd burn the world to the ground to get him back, to keep him safe.

Tony was his world now, and Steve had never been happier than he was with Tony.

I don't know how to tell you that you're not broken to me: a 300-word, mature-rated Stony prompt featuring talks of physical and sexual disability, Dom/Sub relationship, and two people trying to navigate the new disabilities in their lives.

NSFW prompt under the cut. If anyone wants to take a crack at it, that would be so lovely.

After Tony survives the Snap, he and Steve decide to put the past five years behind them and to give their relationship another go. But using the Stones took its toll on Tony and their previous Dom/Sub dynamics are now in shambles.

Unable to move without a chair or a cane, left deeply scarred, and with his heart too weak to put on the Iron Man suit again, Tony spirals, feeling useless now that he can’t be the hero the world needs.

Steve passed on the shield to Sam to stay and care for Tony, but it soon appears clear that Tony perceives his help as charity and Steve is left in a bind when every single display of love or affection from him is misinterpreted as pity by Tony. How can he tell his Dom that his help is a product of love and that he doesn’t mean to hurt his pride by staying with him?

Worst of all, they both struggle with the place of sex and kink in their new relationship. While Steve insists that he wants them to be together romantically more than physically, Tony still can’t accept that his sex life will never be the same and that he’s now unable to care for Steve and top him in bed the way he used to. Being a Dom and Top to Captain America used to be a challenge he relished, but now, knowing that his body can’t follow his sexual desire for Steve leaves him frustrated, and Steve’s insistence on them not having sex if Tony can’t get hard even more so.

How can he explain to Steve that he doesn’t need to be hard for them to enjoy sex again? How can he give his Sub what they both know Steve needs when Tony doesn’t believe in himself anymore?

And more importantly: will they both be able to move on from the emotional and physical scars left by Thanos and the hurt they’re now causing each other?

Silver And Gold (and Hot Rod Red) (Bucky/Tony, General, 360 words) Bucky and Tony share holiday memories as they decorate their tree; Tony provides the finishing touch. (bonus fanart!)

Better Be Good for Goodness’ Sake (Bucky/Sam, Teen, 358 words) Bucky over-reacts to a Christmas morning conundrum; Sam is not surprised, but mildly amused.

Things Are Looking Up (Bucky/Sam, General, 551 words) Bucky’s reaction to a Wilson family tradition gets Sam to check in with his teammate and friend; crystalizing their connection.

In Case I Stand One Little Chance (Bucky/Steve/Tony, General, 485 words - ficlet + moodboard)  Steve and Bucky 'help' Tony pick out gifts for each other; Tony misunderstands their reasoning.
