No matter how many times I watch the movie, Donnie’s reaction to Leo getting stuck in the prison dimension will forever haunt me. Like throughout the show he seems to have the closest bond with Leo out of the whole group, due to them being the same age (basically twins but paternal), so I can’t even imagine how Donnie felt, thinking he’ll probably never see Leo again. Like I can’t imagine how painful that was for him particularly.

Also I want to mention how when the screen went to his reaction, the music kinda slowed down, putting more emphasis on the fact that this is likely his first time showing genuine emotion like that (I mean, we’ve seen him get emotional a few rare times in the series, but either it was more watered down and held back or played off for laughs. This was real and completely genuine.)
