So as I said in my previous post, I peeked at a few spoilers just to assure myself that at least the kids would be alright.

Well, I did wonder if the episode would end with at least one person trapped in the Human Realm, but I wasn't expecting Luz to be one of them. But at least Hunter and Amity and Willow and Gus are alright. They'll have to hide their ears, though. I also saw a slight spoiler about a reference to Amphibia, but I didn't think it would be that blatant and imply that they're in the same world at the same time.

I wasn't really that surprised at Belos betraying the Collector. I mean, it's another magic being, so of course he would trick him just like everyone else. Seems like we were all wrong about Luz getting possessed, though, but he does still look very similar to her with a physical form.

I was a bit surprised that Kikimora knew about what happened to the previous Golden Guards. Did she know they were Grimwalkers too? Did she try to kill Hunter all those episodes ago because she was hoping Belos would give up, or that the next one wouldn't be in a higher position than her?

Some of us thought that Luz would make a deal with the Collector, but I wasn't expecting it to be King who made the deal. The way he talked reminded me a lot of a certain other character with just about the exact same voice who is known for making deals and using trickery.

The Collector is seriously powerful, though, he's basically a reality warper if he was able to move the entire moon that effortlessly. Hopefully everyone will be alright now. I'm not sure if Hunter not passing out was because of his lack of magic or out of sheer determination, but I was relieved it didn't come to that. Well, I wouldn't have minded if he'd recovered before the episode ended, that's part of the uncertainty I was worried about.

The end of the credits scared me a bit, though. It makes me think that Belos isn't completely gone...

I'm sorry, I can't do it. I wanted to write one more story for The World Of Awe, but I'm jsut lacking in the inspiration I once had, it's been overwritten by my ideas for something new. So I'll explain the main ideas I had for Vaguefriends:

The main plot is that Obscurity finds a way to make the Vague leak into the World of Awe, but it works similarly to the Terrorhouse and only affects Nottinghamshire. It changes everyone who hasn’t previously been to the Vague into their shadows, including Jewel, who she is after, because she thinks it will make her easier to find.

Glynn and April and anyone else they can find who wasn’t affected either because they'd aleady been to the Vague or were away at the time, or were able to be changed back, have to find a way to reverse what’s going on, they get help from Jewel’s father, friend, and April's sibling Crystal (and later their brother after they help him) and there’s also a mystery as they don’t know who has done this or why. They also have to learn how to keep control over their own shadows, who make them act more like their "true" selves, which isn't always a good thing because it involves letting out repressed negative feelings, which is why April was so afraid of becoming empowered again since she's such a people-pleaser and doesn't want to hurt anyone.

At one point, they find Jewel, who has lost her memory as a result of becoming empowered, and doesn’t want to remember anything, the others help her to remember and it turns out she was forced to help (but that’s not all she wants to forget), her father can show the past which is how the others are able to know that what she says is true, that Obscurity is another version of her, from the World of Dread. It turns out something really bad happened on her world and she was lonely for a long time right as she was just starting to make friends, only to have it all "snatched away" from her. She found the Revulsion Hat, and she hates reality so much that it gave her the ability to manipulate it, but she has limits. She wanted to get rid of the thing that ruined her world, but she needed double the power, which is why she needed Jewel from the World of Awe and her copying ability that she gets from the Jealousy Shades.

Anyway, at one point April becomes empowered and lets out her bottled up feelings but the others convince her that it's alright to have negative feelings sometimes and to let herself feel them and even if she says hurtful things, they know she doesn't really mean it at the time, and Glynn has arguments with his father who wants him to be more like him but Glynn is gender-nonconforming (either genderqueer or genderfluid) and doesn't want to do things that are considered "manly", eventually his father has to accept that Glynn won't be another version of him, and his brother might not be either.

That's just about everything I thought of, but I couldn't figure out how to put it all together. Hopefully my next story shouldn't have that problem since I've thought of a lot of ideas and how they fit in with each other already.
