Izuku: It’s gonna be hard to sit behind you in class tomorrow
Kacchan: yeah?
Izuku: The back of your neck was distracting enough before I knew what it tasted like
Kacchan: that why you can never answer a damn question right? the back of my neck distracted you?
Izuku: Unironically yes

Okay okay I saw that ur requests are open soo
Mtmte(?) Buddy that’s like blurr tall, slim but also spiky here and there, a former Decepticon. Now in rodimus gang, still getting use to things. Usually found with Magnus . Rodimus still very interested in buddy (cybertronian) they come off as quiet, introverted but rather talkative with other former decepticons, also likes to climb weird places blending in everywhere.
(Add any character u want in it I’m happy w whatever)
Buddy is the perfect combination of cat behavior and hedgehog/Porcupine.
Hope you enjoy!
Bot Buddy the Ex-con who comes off as quiet but is chatty with other Ex-con's with Ultra Magnus, Rodimus Prime, and Nautica
SFW, Platonic, Cybertronian reader
MTMTE
Buddy had chosen to quit the Cons a little halfway through the war. They changed their mind after seeing the realities of the Decepticon was doing to other planets such as Earth.
Of course, it had been a tough period of transition full of questioning, but soon enough they had integrated themselves as an Autobot.
Then the war ended.
When Buddy heard about the Lost Light, they jumped at the chance to get off world.
But there was still a lot of Con prejudice against any ex-con.
Buddy opted to stay quiet.
It didn’t help that their frame had some… spikier areas than most Bots as well as their habit of climbing up and perching in weird places.
Their friends thought they knew Buddy as this quiet bot who didn’t like to talk too much.
Until they truly saw them in their most comfortable state.
Talking with other ex-cons.
Ultra Magnus
Magnus is a bit confused that Buddy went from silently standing by his side to chatting up a storm with Cyclonus at Swerve’s.
It was as if a switch flipped with Buddy.
“Hey Cyclonus! How’s everything been?”--Buddy
“Good.”--Cyclonus
“Really? Cause I heard from a little birdy that you might need some help.”--Buddy
“Hmm?”--Cyclonus
“It concerns a certain minibot and what to give him a gift.”--Buddy
“…It was Whirl wasn’t?”--Cyclonus
“I can not reveal how may or may not have said such things?”--Buddy
“Buddy—”--Magnus
“What are you—”--Cyclonus
“I’m glad you ask! I have a whole list of things we can do for Tailgate!”--Buddy
“That won’t be necessary—”--Cyclonus
“I got paid for this, all services are going to be spent. Now number one…”--Buddy
“Cyclonus giving Magnus a look of ‘What happened to your quiet friend?’
Magnus looking at him with ‘I don’t know, and Whirl is the main suspect.’
Magnus didn’t understand it at first.
Maybe the two of them had history before they became a Autobot. But that didn’t make any sense giving that Buddy joined the Autobots before Cyclonus came.
Magnus just stood by and waited while Cyclonus just stood by listening to Buddy.
When Tailgate showed up, Buddy excused themselves and moved back to Magnus.
“Sorry for that Magnus.”--Buddy
“It is all right… but I have to ask, did you know Cyclonus before?”--Magnus
“No, but I heard around that he was an Ex-Con or something and I wanted to get to know him a bit more from the last time.”--Buddy
“Last time?”--Magnus
“Yeah, I accidentally scared him from the vents and nearly got sliced in half. Ratchet was not happy about that.”--Buddy
“…What?”—Magnus
“Lucky for my spikes it didn’t cause too much damage.”—Buddy
“Why where you in the vents?”—Magnus
“… I like feeling tall…”--Buddy
Rodimus Prime
The two of them met up with Drift on the way to the med bay.
First it was a conversation between Rodimus and Drift; that turned into Buddy, Drift, and Rodimus; that turned into Buddy and Drift.
“So, what happen next?”--Buddy
“Well, it was the three of us against these nasty guys—”--Drift
“Really?”--Rodimus
“Shh! Continue.”--Buddy
“With my sword I cut down the enemies that were getting too close. Too close you get you infected.”--Drift
“Hey—”--Rodimus
“Then what happened? You said Pipes got spewed right?”--Buddy
“Bud?”--Rodimus
“He did get infected.”--Drift
“Poor Pipes.”--Buddy
“…”--Rodimus
Rodimus is a little surprised seeing how well his two friends clicked in such little time.
Usually, Buddy warmed up to any bot he introduced after a couple of hours.
Drift had beaten them in less than 5 minutes.
When they drop Drift by the med bay, Rodimus does ask Buddy if they knew Drift back when they were a Con.
“No, I didn’t know him while I was with the Decepticons.”--Buddy
“Really? Could have fooled me.”--Rodimus
“Well, being ex-cons does help find some common ground.”--Buddy
“I guess—”--Rodimus
“HEY!”—Whirl
Buddy jumping high in freight and getting stuck in a nearby high panel from their spikes.
“…”--Buddy
“…”--Rodimus
“…”--Whirl
“… Can someone help me please?”--Buddy
Whirl getting out a data pad and quickly snapping a picture.
“Whirl!”--Buddy
“Can you send that to me?”--Rodimus
“Rodimus!”--Buddy
Nautica
Nautica doesn’t think too much about Buddy chatting with Megatron while they where waiting for Rodimus to show up for the meeting.
She was trying to start up a conversation with ravage when they both noticed how much chattier Buddy was.
Nautica was surprised to see her quiet friend be so chatty all of a sudden. It took her weeks for them to even hold a normal conversation!
“You see that?”--Nautica
“Yes? Its just Buddy and Megatron.”--Ravage
“Yes, but Buddy is the one doing most of the talking.”--Nautica
“And? Its nothing new.”--Ravage
“Really!”--Nautica
“Yes. They tend to be a bit more of a motor mouth when they are around Con’s they used to know and ex-cons.”--Ravage
They have history with Megatron?”--Nautica
“Well—”--Ravage
Rodimus running into the room with an airhorn.
Buddy jumping on top of Megatron and into the vents.
“Buddy!”--Nautica
“Sorry Buddy! You can come down now!”--Rodimus
“I can’t!”--Buddy
“Don’t be like that. I am sure Rodimus is sorry for the scare, there is no need to be childish.”--Megatron
“No, I mean I can’t!”--Buddy
Ravage jumping on Megatron and into the vents.
Buddy curled up in a ball with their spikes impaling the vents.
“…Yeah, their stuck. Nautica call Ratchet or Skids here.”--ravage
“Don’t worry Buddy! Help is on the way!”—Nautica

Helluva Rewrite (and some of my personal doodles)
Alrighty, so I finally found the motivation to draw up the entire I.M.P crew and finalize their designs! Introducing my version of the new and improved Immediate Murder Professionals!
Tumblr media
I'm so freaking lazy so I didn't add shading or anything extra like that because ughhh. I also decided on some defining traits for imps depending on their ring, but only for the gang and the rings we've seen in the show so far
Wrath imps are larger, stronger, and spikier than other imps. Lust imps have varied bodies, but all have heart shaped barbs on their tails and leathery wings on their lower back. Greed imps are more slender than other imps and often wear jewelry. Gluttony imps are small and fast, high metabolisms so they can gorge. Sloth imps are easy to identify because they usually are just lying there doing fuck all and lack barbs on their tails.
Also, the scarring for imps is the same. White markings indicate scars. In the show I feel like it’s hard to tell what’s a scar (like Blitzo’s facial marks) and what’s a birth mark (like Moxxie’s freckles) so for my own sake, white marks are scars, black marks are birth marks or tattoos, end of story. Millie got her scars from fighting in the wrath ring, Blitzo got his scars from the explosion, and Moxxie’s freckle-like scars are cigarette burns. Should also note that imps are immune to hellfire, but not normal fire because... uhhh idk honestly it just seems more logical.
~ Helluva cutoff starts here ~
I kinda wanna show off my own imp designs for my little demon thing because helluva boss posts get traction and I just wanted someone to see them, so if you only came here for helluva content, feel free to stop reading lol
Tumblr media
Okay, so I wanted the imps to all look like the same species but at the same time not at all. Essentially the imps in my series are based more on folklore surrounding them. In christian folklore imps are straight up evil, but I want all of my imps to just be little guys. Look at em, they’re just little guys. Imps were sometimes thought of as the familiars of witches, taking forms of different animals, so I wanted some of the imps to look animalistic, but it’s their behavior that reflects it more (which is hard to show in a still doodle). Also the imps are just color coded here so I know which is which, imps aren’t actually these specific colors in my world.
Greed imps tend to bind themselves to objects that they particularly adore – in some tellings imps were bound to objects like crystals and could be summoned by their masters. So Greed imps often have a specific item bound to them that they guard with their lives.
Sloth imps are the most harmless when they’re tired, it’s when they’re awake that they become the full on imps of folklore. They’re often paid in sugar cubes and used as servants in the sloth ring.
Gluttony imps are alluding to the fae origin of imps in Germanic folklore, having wings and being generally bug like and little shits. I wanted them to look like pixies almost.
Envy imps are the more attention seeking type who play tricks on humans to garner a reaction. Tricks such as attempting to drown people and such – harmless fun, you know? They’re actually a little based on Kappa I'll admit.
Lust imps have the habit of snatching babies, as in a lot of demons associated with lust (such as Lilith) tend to be obsessed with babies/pregnancy. The lust imps are nearly infertile, so they love taking babies to raise, then discard them once they’re annoyed.
Pride imps are based on the Lincoln imp (in short an Imp threw a rock at an angel and got turned into stone). They’re fluffy and covered in shiny fur since they live in the frozen layer of hell. Their horns are the largest of all imps, and their biggest source of pride – like if they break their horns, they’d rather die than live with the shame because their horns don’t grow back.
Wrath imps are based on the old art of imps you can find – bald little creatures with horns and tails. They’re the more feral animalistic imps, often acting on pure instinct and lacking much social structure. They do tend to exercise in their own way, as strength is their greatest feature.
Anywho if you read all that omg thank you for feeding my ego teehee. But for real, as much as I hate digital, I did enjoy drawing out the imp gang, I might (keyword MIGHT) draw out some rewritten scenes in comic format the most daunting part is actually doing it lmao.
I probably won't shove my own stuff into posts too often, I mostly did it because I wanted to compare my ideas for Imps to Viv's because I think mine are better sorry not sorry lmao. I like to actually research what I'm doing and incorporate it into my art and creations because i think of it like little easter eggs for people who like the things I like. Viv's version of Hell is my least favorite mostly because everything she does feels like bible fanfiction written by a middle schooler who thinks shouting penis in class is the peak of comedy.

A 'skill' I've ended up honing is a sense of the various art styles of the Umineko manga artists. Generally when I see a panel I can tell what episode it's from based on either context, it being an often-posted panel, or even just... how it's drawn.
Episode 1, 3, and 8 are drawn by Natsumi Kei! Natsumi Kei doesn't draw Battler with his vest. She has a specific way of drawing eyes (for example, drawing Beato's with no/little shading) and Battler's hair is super spiky. She draws Beatrice's dress as entirely black besides the pattern, with some white parts for shading/lighting - a trait which most of the Umineko artists share She also has a tendency towards some fanservice angles/poses (such as that oft-memed panel that shows off Eva's ass while she's raging at her misogynistic brother/family).
Tumblr media
She likes to do these 'close-up' shots to show off detailed expressions.
Tumblr media
She also draws Beato's eyes with blonde eyelashes! So pretty... A lot of the Umineko manga artists draw Beatrice with blond eyelashes, which always seem so delicate when they do the detailed close ups.
Tumblr media
The EP2 mangaka, Jiro Suzuki, contrasts Natsumi Kei a lot. They use heavier shading at times, and their anatomy is also different - I often get the impression that their Beato is more broad-shouldered, while their Battler is more skinny. Like a twig.
From this panel, you can really get the impression of 'glowing' in a way that you can't get from Natsumi Kei's work.
Tumblr media
In general, their style has a lot more detail for things like face and hair. Just like Natsumi Kei, they draw Beato with blonde eyelashes, though they interpret Battler's hair differently.
Tumblr media
Battler's clothes feel very flowy, which adds to the sense of him being very skinny. Just like Natsumi Kei, Battler is drawn without his vest. I feel as though there's a sharpness to the joints.
Tumblr media
EP4 is drawn by Soichiro! A return to spikier Battler hair. I feel like they tend towards narrower, sharper eyes.
Tumblr media
Soichiro has a certain way of paneling... It relies a lot on very similar-looking boxes. They're generally all the same shape, and often the same size. Some examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you may have noticed, Battler is still bereft of his vest. It's probably a choice all of these mangakas made in order to simplify his design.
...I would also like to submit for your consideration the travesty that is the paneling in this page. It's... a bit confusing to follow. This is a tendency in their style - sometimes the emphasis, paneling, etc. isn't quite right. They're a great artist, but I get the feeling that they weren't quite accustomed to this medium at the time of drawing.
Tumblr media
EP5 is drawn by Akitaka.
Akitaka is one of my favorite Umineko manga artists by the sheer virtue of the fact that Akitaka restores Battler's vest to its proper place: on his body. Battler's hair is still spiky, but it's a different, sometime toned-down interpretation. The way they shade his hair feels really unique to me - a mix of the usual screentones with some black sections (depending on the angle and level of detail). In general I feel like Akitaka works a lot with screentones to add a lot of shading to their panels.
Tumblr media
Rather than using pure black for Beatrice' dress, it's a mix of black and screentones. Part of this is for lighting, but it also allows Akitaka to show a lot more details for the dress, which the artists who use primarily black for the dress can't do.
Tumblr media
Akitaka also has some really detailed expressions. They manage to bring a lot of character to even the 'dead' Beato.
Tumblr media
EP6 is drawn by Hinase Momoyama. Battler's vest, the most important character in Umineko, triumphantly remains. However, Battler's hair is less spiky and more slicked-down. Like Akitaka, there are often black sections of it, but these are more often at the front, rather than the back, of the head.
Tumblr media
Beatrice's dress varies from "mostly black" to "mostly screentones" in EP6. Elder Beatrice, however, has these very detailed and eye-catching ruffles to her skirt. She is also drawn with sharper eyes and expressions than Chick Beatrice, who is wide-eyed and has very flowy princess sleeves on her dress.
Tumblr media
Battler comes off as super cute when he's angry, rather than something more menacing or serious, as he does in Natsumi Kei's art. For comparison: (EP6, then EP8)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is probably a result of how Natsumi Kei draws 'sharper', while Momoyama uses rounder shapes.
EP7 is drawn by Eita Mizuno, who is a saint for managing to draw beautifully for all NINE volumes. NINE. A saint.
They draw Beatrice's dress primarily with screentones, and have very bright, wide eyes.
Tumblr media
They use a lot of texture with their screentones, which gives their art a unique feel amongst the artists for the manga.
Tumblr media
I'd also like to have a special shout out to this page. The way the art style shifts in the final panel to reflect Lion's shock and horror is an incredible use of the medium. This artist really seems to like these horizontal spreads, but they use the space well.
Tumblr media
More masculine characters like Will have narrower eyes, though the pupils/light isn't that different. While characters with light hair like Lion have no screentones for their hair, Will receives a healthy mix: primarily black, with some screentone highlights. Of course, light-haired characters will have screentoned hair depending on the lighting, but in bright lighting, Lion has entirely white hair.
Tumblr media
...Also, Battler has once more lost his vest. At least his hair is spiky again...?
Tumblr media
That covers all the main mangaka, but there's also the mangaka for the side manga, Tsubasa: Fumi Ito. Their art is really cute and suits the often-comedic stories well. The small highlights they put in hair feels characteristic of their style. They often draw characters with wide, round, bright eyes.
Tumblr media
Battler's hair spikiness is toned down (so fluffy...) and his vest returns for the final time. A true blessing.
Tumblr media
This is just a super brief overview of it all - there's a lot of characters whose varying depictions I didn't mention, I didn't really talk about how they do backgrounds, and plenty of other things. But Umineko has a lot of talented artists who worked on it, and many of them still sometimes post fanart (or new official art) for the series!
I feel like we should appreciate the amazing range of artists who have done their best to interpret Umineko's story. They all did a great job!

"Behind those glares, I sense the weight of my misdeeds. Does my reflection in your eyes carry the burden of our unspoken discord?"
Name : Twenty
Age : They are in their mid twenties
Height : 5’6
Appearance : Twenty stands at 5’6” with elegant, beautiful features contrasting their hatred for you. They possess pale, silken white hair and crystalline eyes, with female Twenty having icy sky-blue eyes and male Twenty having fiery pinkish-red eyes. Female Twenty has longer hair that spills down her back, somehow kept meticulously straight despite her living conditions. Male Twenty has spikier hair trailing just past his nape often tied back in a half-ponytail.
Personality : Twenty is rather best described as timid but blunt. They're often honest, unfiltered and sarcastic, something people don't particularly like about them, but hey, they could care less if the whole world hated them, because they hate it just the same. They're often seen as narcissistic and petty, to the exact point that you can describe as a god complex. They hate being inferior and they hate it when they’re looked down upon or insulted despite them doing the same. Often described as an egomaniac, as stated above they have a deep hatred for being inferior so most of the time they’re manipulative and would occasionally bring people who make them feel inferior down, just so they can show that they are better or that they’re, in any way, superior. Don't get me wrong, Twenty is mature enough to not just fight with random people they don't like, but they’ll be judging them, ridiculing them from afar, or hell even making their life hell if they wanted. But despite that they're calm and collected most of the time, they'll only do so if they're provoked or feel threatened.
Background : The Subject’s traces can be found way back in the Libra District, where they resided in one of the more impoverished sectors. Subject has had a history of gang violence and been arrested multiple times on charges of scams and robbery. Not much is known about their background other than the fact that they have siblings stationed in the [DATA REDACTED] District. The Subject was sentenced to life in prison to Tartarus for allegedly conspiring with the terrorists responsible for the Infinity Plaza Terror attack five years ago.
Likes : Eye pleasing visuals, literature, good food (not the trash they're served in Tartarus), their self care routine
Dislikes : The scent of blood, overly curious people, irrational people, those who think they're better than them, the shitty canteen dog food (as they call it)
Pet peeves : gets annoyed by repetitive noises e.g. tapping or own clicking, when people eat with their mouths wide open
Trivia :
they have hyperthymesia or highly superior autobiographical memory (HSAM), a condition where one can remember even the smallest of life experiences in vivid detail
a slow eater; they like to savor their food so it usually takes like thirty minutes to get a simple meal for themself done.
sleepwalks a lot, can be found sitting by the edge of a balcony while asleep or by the canteens door, much to the night staffs dismay
is a firm believer of rock, paper, scissors. has never lost a game of rock paper scissors in their life

[ART BY ME] Clay, the Dragonet of Mud -----
Author's Notes: For Clay, I wanted to go for creatures that had the most power, the most imposing form, and for this creation, I went with a few.
The first was a crocodile, his snapping jaws, despite being rife with strength and sheer biting force, is often upturned into a good-natured, if toothy, smile. I wanted to make sure that he was expressive, and kind, despite having a mouth full of teeth ^^ The second was that of a hippo, courtesy of his back-end that, even though his legs look stubby, hide their strength and speed (though he is much more inclined to take naps than actually use them).
His front arms and talons are two-fold, a mix between a bear's thick, powerful forearms, and an anteater's digging, brutal claws. Most Mudwings use their front talon both defensively (and offensively) in battle, and for digging and burrowing, using them much like shovels to displace dirt and mud. Clay? He usually just uses them to lay on, his thick, powerful arms making surprisingly good pillows now and again.
Finally, we come to his tail. Clay is Blood-hatched (a headcanon term for Mudwings that are born fireproof), and with that, comes a few extra perks. Firstly, Clay is far...spikier than your typical Mudwing, and that isn't an accident. Blood-hatched Mudwings are staunch defenders, powerful fighters literally bred for war and strength beyond that of your typical Mudwing. Of course, Clay doesn't really know how to use it, and he's mighty clumsy, despite his best attempts to manage his unwieldy, powerful body. With that, his spiked club tail, for what would have served as a tool of strength and destruction...is more of an inconvenience to him.
With his...appearance...it is no wonder his caretaker's thought him nothing more than a killing machine. But really, he's just a big softie. ^^

People be asking after the HTTYD3-rewrite thing I did so here’s the Old Night Fury
Tumblr media
I dunno. I’ve never tried to draw Toothless before
Let’s flesh out the Old Night Fury, for funsies:
- He never makes any purring noises or cooing noises.
- He does this thing in mid-air when Toothless is following him where he dives straight down, then snaps open his wings and halts because his wings are bigger and stronger than Toothless’, causing the heroes to shoot straight past him. Usually when they wheel around, Old Night Fury is gone.
- He signals to the Light Fury Flock by opening and closing his back spines quickly, which makes a clicking noise. For this reason Tuffnut calls him Shutter.  - His plasma blasts are paler than Toothless’.  - When he returns to the spot where the Fury Flock is resting to find Hiccup and Toothless watching from the edge, he immediately attacks and rips Hiccup’s peg leg straight off before Toothless intervenes.
He’s just basically the bigger, slightly darker (because reptiles darken as they get older) and spikier Toothless before being tamed—no hesitation, he just always immediately chooses violence.  He never really warms up to Hiccup or Toothless, and actually we’ll say the Love Interest Fury actually has to get between him and a protective charge from Old Night Fury right before Grimmel catches up and kills him. Maybe if Old Night Fury hadn’t been distracted by Hiccup and Toothless, he could’ve heard Grimmel coming as usual 🤷‍♀️

Hi I have a request if you’ve got the energy/time!
I’m thinking of an art project and making char designs, and I’d like to have more to look off, as I try and make them.
If you’re able, can you give more detailed write up/designs/ visuals ((height chart?) for some of these chars (listed in order or importance for potential art project) Firepaw/heart, Tigerclaw, Bluestar, Goldenflower, Lionface, Graypaw/stripe, Ravenpaw/wing, Redtail ?
No pressure at all, don’t need to do all the cats or any, something as simple as “they look like canon but this is changed” can help!
Tentative thoughts are focusing on Fire’s relation to Tiger and Golden, and the politics and how that changed the emotions!
Thank you!!
Sure thing! This is mostly just how I see them – I try to leave it a little vague for readers’ interpretations, even if I have my own idea for what everyone looks like. I do encourage you to take some liberties as you’d like to, of course.
Fireheart: The shortest of the cats described here, and a little short even for the average house cat. Canonically to this series, he’s part Somali, so he’s a richer ginger than usual and whatever tabby stripes he has are faint, with his back being darker than his underside. His eyes are a verdant green and have a brightness to them that never seems to go away. His fur is short and smooth and he’s always been skinny, but thanks to regular exercise, he’s quite wiry and is stronger than he looks. He has a perpetual babyface, even with the harshness of the wild, which adds to his charisma.
Tigerclaw: Hulking and just a bit taller than his mate, making him the largest cat in this list. His shoulders are abnormally broad for a cat – almost doglike, really – and his tail is thick even without the long hair on it. His eyes are amber, and this, combined with his hard, haggard face and dark brown coat, makes him look quite intimidating. He’s got huge paws with claws that are just a bit too long to completely stay sheathed, even when withdrawn. His stripes are thick and black, standing out even with his darker brown coloring, and his underside is paler, though he doesn’t have any white markings.
Bluestar: Tall, thin and blue-grey with pale yellow eyes, her face is less hard than her Clanmates’ despite her age (which is shown by her gradually greying muzzle). She is long-legged and the fur on her body is sleek, longer than you’d expect without being overly furry. A long, thin scar marks behind both of her shoulders, and it’s hard to see unless you’re behind her and her fur isn’t draped over it. She has a melancholy face, her ears are longer than usual and she has a look of perpetual weariness barely concealed with regality. I imagine she’s not the most muscled cat in the world, but she’s got strength in her body just as her apprentice does.
Goldenflower: Enormous in height and fluffiness. Her eyes are nearly the same shade of gold as her coat (just darker), which has spotted markings instead of the regular tabby. She’s barely shorter than Tigerclaw, and though her paws could be described as “soft”, they are quite large. Her chest and belly have a broad streak of white on them, and her face is gentle and maternal. She’s got a general look of comfort and sweetness – it feels like she would be an excellent pillow, and be more than happy to provide that service.
Lionface: He would be best described as a “harder” version of his sister. He’s got regular tabby markings, though faint, and his face is easily likened to an actual lion’s – long and grave. He’s big in all aspects, and his fur is long especially around his neck, creating a mane. He’s got green eyes, which I personally see as a big dark and dull; certainly not as vibrant as Fireheart’s. He notably does not have scars on his face, though he most likely has some hidden behind his fur across his body (this is a point of vanity for him). He’s as tall as Goldenflower, but he feels spikier and less comforting. I would say he’s the square to her circle, if that makes sense.
Greystripe: He’s a big boy! He’s just a bit shorter than Goldenflower and Lionface, but his width makes up for that small discrepancy. Bulky shoulders and chest (for a cat, of course), wide paws, puffy, thick fur that makes him look even bigger, so on and so forth. He’s about medium grey, and his tabby marking (which I think of as classic) are nearly black, with a broad stripe down his spine. I feel like he’s got a dark tail-tip, though he has no white marking. His face is round, but it gets harder and harder as he ages, until he’s as haggard as everyone else as a senior warrior. He definitely is plump, though not too overweight, and his eyes are a stark, bright yellow.
Ravenwing: Actually described him here!
Redtail: Probably the second shortest, though he still has a good deal of height on Fireheart. He’s a dark ginger tabby; classic, of course, which I imagine would have such broad stripes that he’s more red than ginger. All four paws are white, with the back feet having that white stretch a bit higher than the front. Long body for sure, to make up for his shortness (again, he’s just smaller compared to ThunderClan’s usual – he’s still bigger than the average cat). He’s got yellow eyes that edge on amber – just as warm and friendly as the rest of him.
Hope this helped!

suffer all the children
Before Mal can open her mouth to start the complaining, Fairy Godmother claps her hands.
“Now!” She announces. “As you can see on the desks in front of you, we here at Auradon Prep have a student contract that you’ll all need to sign before classes start!” She looks around the room, as if to make sure her wayward students are listening to this riveting information. They aren’t, but she keeps talking anyway. “Now, usually, we would have one of your dorm monitors go over this with you at the housing meeting, but considering the circumstances, we thought it might be best for us to go over this together, before you go out and join the rest of your floor this weekend.”
Mal raises her hand, and then starts talking before Fairy Godmother can call on her. “What circumstances?”
Fairy Godmother opens her mouth to answer, but before she can get a word in, Carlos turns around in his seat to look at Mal. “She means the knives, swamp brain, and probably our clothes too.”
Evie’s mouth drops open. “There’s nothing wrong with our clothes!” she exclaims.
Before either of them can succeed in lunging across the desks to get at the other, Fairy Godmother raps her stick on the blackboard. “Children!”
Mal is a little preoccupied trying to cover Evie’s mouth before she can say anything else that’s going to get them going again, but based on the sounds from the boy’s desk, they’re having a similarly good time keeping up the rivalry act. Something falls over, and then Fairy Godmother is rapping her stick again. “Children!” She shouts.
Evie goes limp in her arms, and Mal slides them both back around to face the front. Fairy Godmother looks exasperated. “I expect you to listen to me when I am speaking. Yes, the knives that you threatened the staff with are one of the issues that I wanted to discuss today. Your clothes, while not traditional, are a way of expressing yourselves, and I would never want to stifle your beautiful youthful creativity by asking you to dress exclusively to Auradonian standards.”
Mal raises an eyebrow. “Standards?”
Evie giggles. “I don’t think she knows what standard means,” she whispers. “Look at those shoes.”
Fairy Godmother is ignoring them. “However, if there is anything else you need, maybe soap, or hygiene products, we would be happy to get those for you. Just ask me, or one of your dorm leaders, and we would love,” she pauses, making sure to look at each of them in turn. “Just love to help you get what you need.”
Jay shoves his elbow into Carlos. “She’s saying you smell, dude.”
Carlos narrows his eyes. There’s something that looks like a pen in his hand, but based on the death grip he has on it, and the way that the cap looks suspiciously spikier than it has last night, it’s probably been turned into a weapon by now. “Shut the fuck up.”
Before they can get into anything more than threats, the Fairy Godmother is down in front of their shared desk with her hands spread wide. “Excuse me, Gentlemen? Is this how we speak to our classmates here in Auradon?”
Mal interrupts. “Sorry about them, Fairy Godmother.”
“Yeah, sorry you stink.”
Fairy Godmother, who had been turning to look at Mal and Evie, spins back towards the boys again and smacks her stick down between them. “Gentlemen, we do not speak to our friends that way!” she admonishes, “That is not fitting behavior for Auradon Prep students, and this is exactly the kind of thing that I was hoping not to see from you two. Now, I want each of you to take one of these, read it over, and return it to me once you’ve signed the last page. Any questions?”

What do you like about the Red Sky 87 TMNT episodes?
The Unstable Mutation arc!
(oh and I like the character, Carter, too)
Not sure if that's an official name for it, but I'm a sucker for the story concept of slowly devolving into a monstrous being out of your control. Like, if y'all liked the "Good Genes" arc from TMNT 2003 or the whole "Savage Raph" thing from Rise of the TMNT, then this arc is like those, but on steroids!
I hope y'all are ready for me to ramble about one of my favorite parts of TMNT 1987, cuz that's what I'm gonna do! Thank you anon, for giving me that excuse reason! Heavy spoilers for TMNT 1987 below the cut!
Before I get into the arc, first let's have a quick overview of the "Red Sky seasons" of TMNT 1987. "Red Sky" is a fan-made name for the final 3 seasons of TMNT 1987.
For whatever reason, during those seasons the background artists started coloring the sky red. Those seasons also got a bit more plotty and dark, and had more over-arching storylines instead of being episodic. So they are referred to as the "Red Sky seasons" due to them being both figuratively AND literally more ominous!
For comparison, the Red Sky seasons are to TMNT 1987 what the Rise of the TMNT movie is to the rest of the series, or what the "Leo being thrown through a window" incident is to most other TMNT series.
And while my main critique of these seasons is that they were kind of still figuring out how to do chronological storytelling, so parts of it are a bit awkward (particularly in season 10), and there is also a severe lack of April O'Neil, it had some really cool concepts.
It introduced a pretty neat character, named Carter, who joins the turtles in fighting the bad guys:
Tumblr media
And it had the Unstable Mutation arc (spoilers below)...
As the name suggests, the basic plotline of the arc involves the turtles' mutations becoming unstable, causing them to slowly transform into much more monstrous mutants, giving them a boost in abilities and physical prowess, but at a cost of intelligence and morality. In short, they get big and feral.
Tumblr media
What I love about this arc is that it is actually paced rather well. They hint at it later on in season 8, follows through a slowly progressing destabilization throughout season 9, and then finally concludes in season 10 (the final season of the series).
It starts with them transforming suddenly, and very briefly at first, affording them a boost in strength and endurance, before they change back to their usual selves. However, another side-effect of the transformation is that it tires them out. Their first transformation literally knocks them out afterwards. As the story goes on, the transformations stay longer and of course often happen at very unfortunate moments, and it begins to effect their mental stability. As it progresses throughout the season, the unstable mutation threatens to become permanent as they lose themselves to the transformations.
Spreading the arc out in this way manages to keep up the tension really well!
Another cool aspect about the transformations themselves is that it's the first time that the turtles really look different from each other. For instance Leonardo gets some metallic-looking bits on his plastron and Donnie gets a cyborg eye. And I honestly wonder if "Rise of the TMNT" took some prompts from Raphael's unstable mutation design, because he's much spikier than the others.
Tumblr media
The whole arc comes to a head when Donatello manages to find a way to stabilize their mutation, but due to some villainous shenanigans, Leonardo's transformation gets WORSE and they have to deal with that for a couple episodes.
The consequences of the arc even ties into the villain's main plot in the end, so it actually fits together quite nicely as a whole. The character Carter, that I mentioned earlier, also has a major plot to play in the whole arc, too, and he deals with similar mutation issues throughout. There's just so much going on in these seasons and it's epic and angsty and great!
If I had to choose, I'd still say season 1 of TMNT 1987 is my fave overall, but Season 9 (where most of this arc takes place) is a very close second, and it's largely because I think the whole "unstable mutation" idea was really well-executed!
Thank you again, for the ask, anon! I feel not enough people talk about this part of 1987, and this gave me the opportunity to talk about it!

How Is It that the Clouds Still Hang on You
Bridgertons performing Hamlet, part one! This wouldn't have been possible without @glintglimmergleam!
Pre-play, Anthony’s Hamlet is the eternal student, the idle rich somewhere between seventeen and thirty who still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. First sons really only have one job, and that’s to someday be their fathers; and Hamlet, like Anthony, is sure he’s getting it wrong no matter what he does. Anthony at least has the estate and his younger siblings to look after, but Hamlet only has the vague notion of someday being king, and looking through the script for hints of who Hamlet used to be, Anthony thinks for the first time that the prince must have been lonely even before his father died.
His only recourse was to take nothing seriously and sell himself as the clown of any group, and he usually managed to believe what he was selling and even enjoy himself. When Claudius popped in between the election and his hopes, those hopes curdled inside of him and he started putting up firmer, spikier walls, where before there was only wordplay and multi-layered classics references. (Anthony is actually hopeless at this kind of thing; he had to ask Benedict about “When Roscius was an actor in Rome” and “Jephthah, judge of Israel, what a treasure hadst thou!” but what was he going to do, not make Hamlet a classics nerd??)
Gregory memorizes the roles with the most lines first, of course, so he’s already gotten the bantering rhythm down for playing both halves of a comedy duo attempting to be spies. “My lord, you once did love me” is regret for the distance in age with his oldest brother, and the distance in social status for Rosencrantz and Hamlet. Osric, he unlocks when he decides this vain and silly courtier idolizes both Laertes and Hamlet in much the same way that Gregory looks up to his oldest brothers, so he and Benedict talk about it and come to the conclusion that Laertes might trust Osric enough to ask him to help kill Hamlet, but Osric would never go along with it, which means that in this production Laertes didn’t tell him what he was getting Hamlet into.
Now he has to bring the soldiers on the watchtower to life. He whirls as if to face an unexpected noise, and answers himself rapid-fire.
— Who’s there! — Nay, answer me. Stand and unfold thyself! — Long live the king! — Barnardo? — He.
It’s almost a knock-knock joke but the truth is that no one in this play really knows who’s there or if they can be trusted, and it’s an uncertainty hidden in plain sight right from the opening lines. For this dialogue to work, it has to be two people meeting in the dark and he can’t just play both roles like he does for Ros and Guil.
“Hey, Daphne, my favorite sister, how would you like the second speaking role in Hamlet?”
“Hold still, your collar’s askew, I need to fix it. Only the second role?” she asks. “Not the first?”
“Daaaph, cut it out, my shirt is fine! And Barnardo can pretty much be combined with Marcellus and not much will change because they’re both there to back up Horatio’s story, and he’s there to back up theirs. Francisco’s more like Gertrude, he never gets to see the ghost.”
“Not a mouse stirring,” she quotes. “But he’s wrong about that and so is the queen — there’s so much more stirring in her kingdom than she’ll allow herself to see. Yes, I think you’re right about giving me Francisco. You’ll make a good director for next year’s play.”
“Titus Andronicus?” he asks with a bloodthirsty grin.
“Well, we’ll talk about it.”
At first Francesca has trouble deciding how to distinguish Claudius from his dead brother — are they more alike or more different? No face paint for the ghost, she decides, and in fact they should have almost the exact same costume with perhaps a different colored sash, and it’ll depend on how she carries herself.
Claudius is personable and popular except when he’s alone and the thought of his own sin wraps around his neck, while King Hamlet has forgotten everything but the purgation of his sins, and the vengeance he must see visited on his killer before he may rest. The ghost is not all there, still half in the fires of hell, but he also has a supernatural gravity that snaps all the attention in a room to him. It’s a kind of authority Claudius wishes he could project, but as good at public speaking as he is, he always seems a little bit desperate and out of his depth, so he turns up the charm even more.
Francesca finds what they have in common, too, more than either would care to admit. “Of life, of crown, of queen, at once dispatched” says one; “my crown, mine own ambition, and my queen,” says the other. Both kings save Gertrude for last, which could either mean that she’s an afterthought or that she was the most important thing to lose or gain.
Francesca is a Bridgerton which means she’s a romantic, so she decides it’s the latter. They both just really love their wife, enough to kill a man, enough to tell Hamlet not to contrive against his mother aught, enough to come back from the dead for a few more moments in her bedchamber, enough to send Hamlet away to be executed in England instead of imprisoned in Denmark simply because Gertrude asked.
By the time Claudius gives his speech about marrying Gertrude, Hamlet has a permanent clench to his jaw whenever he’s in public or in the same room as Claudius — that shouldn’t be too hard, says Eloise, since that’s his default expression, and Benedict, who’s probably seen Anthony laugh more than anyone else, has to agree with her. But when he’s left alone, though forbidden to go to Wittenberg, he can at least relax enough to stop trying to hold back the things he shouldn’t say in front of the nobles. “How weary, stale, flat, and unprofitable, seem to me all the uses of the world!” is just full of bitter laughter, giving in to the cosmic joke that Nothing Matters. But his aspect changes completely when he sees Horatio, and he picks Hyacinth up to spin her around, even though she’s almost gotten too heavy for that.
Hamlet cannot believe that Horatio would lie to him about a ghost, or tell him anything until he’s sure of what he’s seen, but he still warns himself not to hope too hard, in case nothing comes of it, it’s something he wishes he had not seen. And despite the dull but persistent heartbeat of “nothing matters, nothing matters,” always singing at the back of his head, his father’s spirit does appear, and when Hamlet follows, he learns that there is a meaning — an awful, perfidious one, but still.
So what if he has to kill a man (so what if Anthony had to decide, eleven years ago whether they should try to save his mother or his sister), at least it’s a purpose, and when he wipes clean the tables of his memory he can fall backwards into his prior persona of taking nothing seriously, but now with the bitter armor of actually not caring what happens next.

[ID: Delores in the Parantural au, a giant centipede spirit. She is screaming at the viewer in fury. The art is partially constrained in a box, but Delores's spiky legs and tentacles break out of the borders. She has more mandibles than her usual design, spikier horns, and her legs have barbed tips. End ID.]
In Parantural, when spirits get really mad/scared/hurt, they can start to turn into something called a Grudge, which involves making the spirit's design more fucked up. Obviously i had to give that a shot! Sorry Delores, that means youre having a Bad Time. This can be like. an au of the au?

Swapfell Take
I've taken a bit of a break for Christmas and New Year's and I got sick and got a new phone so I had to set everything up and brrrrrrr it's been a lot
But here's my swapfell Take the color scheme is purple and the theme is villain stereotypes
Chara: Design based on the classic Underfell just to contrast the rest of the cast. Likes heavy metal music. Rude but doesnt like picking fights. Equipped with tough jacket and pocket knife. Shaved their one eyebrow. Each save file has them wear a different rock band shirt. Bullies those weaker than them. Sees the worst in people
Temmie: Beaten and scuffed up. Missing an eye. Has spikier more jagged hair. Still cocky and thinks they're smarter than everyone and because of this they pick fights with people. They aren't as strong as normal swap temmie so they usually lose said fights hence their tattered appearance. Finds the human to be the only one down here with intelligence on their level which is why they tag along. They are the one to check enemies and usually offer weaknesses and a snide comment. They travel in your backpack cutely. Their tendency to make rude remarks usually gets you both in trouble.
Asgore: Locked himself in the Ruins after the death of his children. Refuses to move on. Doesn't trust Temmie. One of the kindest folk you'll meet. Refuses to make tea because it brings back bad memories. Cold and standoffish. Doesn't guide you through the Ruins just observes you. Afraid to get attached to anyone again because he fears losing them so he interacts with you as little as possible.
Papyrus: Based on the joke of swap Papyrus smoking weed....Swapfell Papyrus always has a joint. Red tired eyes. Can't get too high due to being a skeleton. Has a gold tooth and purple jacket. Similar to most versions of swapfell Papyrus. Hardest monster to befriend as he prefers to stay neutral with you the whole time. Likes pranks at others' expense. Mean spirited. Picks on his brother like siblings do. If you kill his brother he won't hesitate to kill you on the spot.
Sans: Instead of dressing like Batman his clothes are ripped up and he wears a Joker like insignia (a creepy smile). Calls himself Toothy Grin. He's less of the psychotic serial killer Joker and more of the cartoonist corny 60s Joker. Has convoluted schemes that always fail. Wants to impress the royal guard. Wears contacts that make his eyes look crazy and swirly. Gives Papyrus a jester hat and calls him his partner in crime. Likes to say Mwah heh heh heh heh.
Alphys: She's even ruder and meaner now. She enjoys smashing her toes faces into the pavement. The Captain of the Royal Guard and fights anyone who dares oppose the guard. Looking for someone to match her strength even the queen began to struggle in their training and all Alphys wants is a worthy opponent which is why she's become increasingly bored with her position and when you first meet her she's not even in her armor. Acts kinda aloof as she never met an opponent who she couldn't strike down. She doesn't take your first few encounters seriously but eventually she unleashed her full power. She's ecstatic when you beat her as she sees you as a new sparring opponent and is excited to meet someone able to match her intensity. Scarred and beaten up from fighting all these years. She refuses to heal her injuries as she thinks they're badges to wear with pride. Instead of a helmet she wears a triceratops skull that was her mother's. It's missing a horn. She also has a nose horn.
Undyne: Think Yzma from Emperor's New Groove. She's a mad scientist with the big coat that covers up the face like that guy from Invader Zim. She has a jacked up underbite with many different teeth growing everywhere like a screwed up shark and because she has multiple rows of teeth she self installed 6 pairs of braces which causes her to get electrocuted when she tries to pull a Frankenstein with Napstabot. She has big goofy glasses that obscure her beady white eyes. She experiments with combining cyborgs and determination to make weird monsters she sends after you in Hotland where she acts as the main antagonist and Napstabot is more of a secondary antagonist. She sends you traps and bad guys and even calls your phone to monologue. She desperately wants validation from the queen and is overjoyed when Alphys compliments her strange creations. Her and Alphys are already dating when you arrive and get engaged. Undyne likes to ride on Alphys shoulders even though it doesn't make her much taller than normal.
Napstabot: His radio form doesn't change much but his ex form gets a dapper suit. Just like normal Napstabot he's a radio host except now he does horror radio shows. He thinks he's really spooky and uses green goblin pumpkin bombs which tend to bounce off something and hit him as a running gag. He's the secondary antagonist of Hotland and acts more like an announcer and narrator to Undyne's antics. He has an Orson Welles style voice but his real voice is squeaky and cute. Also in ex form he ejects from his legs and has a purple ghostly tail of ectoplasm.
Toriel: Disney villain vibes. When you first meet her shes shrouded in shadows so you can only see her glowing purple eyes. She has menacing purple armor and a tall magic staff. No remorse for killing humans. Sealed away from her kingdom after her son started a small rebellion. Has little to no feeling. Keeps the coffins open....as trophies. The final challenge you face.
