I love movies that end in a culmination. Like movies that go good idea #1, good idea #2, good idea #3 are okay, but movies that go good idea #1, good idea #2, good ideas #1 and #2 combined in an intricate way that was hinted at previously is sooooo satisfying. Like No Way Home was an example of this because the first movie series Peter lost his mentor, the second series Peter lost his love, and in the third series Peter lost both…. and everything else too

So MCU Spiderman..
1. Doesnt have Uncle Ben. A pivotal part of Peters origin story; and Aunt May dying/replacing him is not the same because Ben was at the beginning for a reason. Aunt May being there after was just as important as Ben dying. (That's like Batmans parents not dying but Bruce's story still going the same and then they just kill someone else after years of being Batman and pretend its the same. Or TLOU Sarah never existing but Joel still being the same and then they kill Ellie in the end instead. It doest make sense.)
2. Doesnt even do photography? Another big part of Peters character that they just... got rid of?
3. Depends on Tony Stark. Peter was basically self made, he was alone in his identity as Spiderman in the beginning, but he knew he was smart and kept going. Now they just got Tony and made him give him a suit with some AI assistant, Tony being some kind of mentor and maybe even more after May's death. Peter would never depend on Tony Stark and the Avengers like that, the MCU took so much of his pride and just Peter away.
4. Is basically just Miles? His storylines, his personality (with some extra one-liners that are supposed to be like Peter), his relationships (Ganke, Tony, the Avengers/Ultimates). Based on Homecoming and Miles' Ultimate comics, I'd say even Michelle and Katie seem similar.
I made a post like this before but geez it pisses me off so bad because there's so many kids now seeing MCU Spiderman as *the* Peter Parker, when that guy's anyone BUT Peter Parker.
And I believe Tom Holland could've done a great job of playing Peter and Zendaya could've been an amazing Mary Jane, but the writers and producers ducked it up big time. They made Zendaya play an OC because they were too racist to make her Mary Jane but still gave her the "MJ" title as if that's the same thing.
I may be overdramatic but like... whatevs!

I've put off posting this for a while but it is time!! Here it is, my most popular edit 🥹
I don't know why??? or how?? this became so popular??? but it somehow did and I'm honestly still shook about it today?? But it is definitely an edit I'm proud of regardless of whether it's popular or not. It is, after all, my passionate love for Spider-Man manifested as an edit. Enjoy!!

SPIDER-FIT CHECK: THE MOVIE SUITS (Part 1)
Happy Spider-Man day!! Today ill be goin through every live action Spider-Man suit ever put to film!
The Human Spider: 6/10
Ha! You thought it was gonna be the Tobey suit. No before he made the first Spider-Man suit, Peter suited up in this sweater and ski mask combo to fight Bonesaw. And its perfectly suitable, not much to talk about aside from the neat negative spider in the chest.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: 10/10
Here we have our first interpretation of Spider-Man on the big screen and god they knocked it out of the park. The raised silver webbing is such a good look and im a fan of the angular eyes on this suit. (I'm aware that the suits used through the trilogy change with every film, but not enough to warrant seperate rankings)
Symbiote Suit: 9/10
Black suits are so cool and that remains true here. The raised webbing and angular eyes are still big highlights, but it just being a simple recolor stops it from being the same level as what it came from. Those yellow lenses are cool af tho.
Amazing Casual Suit: 5/10
Andrew's first suit is much more thrown together than the Human Spider or the upcoming Homemade suit from homecoming. And while it has its own unique charm, that mostly comes from how Andrew's Peter carries himself, rather than the suit itself.
Amazing Spider-man: 8/10
I LIKE THE BASKETBALL SUIT AND IM TIRED OF PRETENDING IT ISNT COOL. The unique materials on this suit plus the yellow eyes make it so unique and stand out from every other suit here.
Amazing Spider-man 2 Suit: 12/10
The best version of the classic suit ever put to film. The eyes? Perfect. The colors? Vibrant. The eyes? Spot on. This is what I think of when you say Spider-Man.
MCU Homemade Suit: 7/10
The best starting suit of the 3, the moving lenses, bright colors, visible bulky webshooters, and spray painted symbol are big highlights. Big Scarlet Spider energy.
Homecoming Suit: 8/10
Its so close. So close to being perfect. But im sorry some things on this suit hold me back from giving it a perfect score. I dont like the barely visible webbing on the red, and I absolutely despise the dark blue running through the cyan. But those things don't tank my enjoyment of this suit too much, the colors and moving eyes are still phenomenal.
MCU Iron Spider: 2/10
This is awful. Im sorry but taking the amazing Iron Spider from the comics and deciding to make it a washed out red and a deep cerulean blue makes me hate it. They should've just adapted the suit from the books instead of trying to mash the Sensational and Iron Spider together to a suit that doesn't meet the sum of its parts.
MCU Stealth Suit: 4/10
...Meh. I dont really have strong opinions on this? Its a little on the bulkier side, and I dont like the head straps that are only there to justify the moving eyes.

This poll is dedicated to the Raimi Spiderman movies. We’ve covered most of the MCU, the X-Men, various other Fox properties. Next up in the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movie - then we will move on to the most anticipated poll of the Morbius characters.
Stick around and help in this journey.
