NB: I'm only including hints that are obvious and don't require mental gymnastics. Your mileage might vary, of course.

27 February 2020: The Man music video is released, with the iconic graffitied wall showing Speak Now coming after Red.

26 October 2020: Taylor posts this TikTok.

I really think this is a really obvious hint, but nobody ever seems to talk about it... anyways notice how the colours of the garments she points at go purple > blue > green > black?

9 November 2021: Red (Taylor's Version) signed CDs go on sale. On her website, the price $20.10 is written in purple.

12 November 2021: "Red is about to be mine again, but it has always been ours."

13 December 2021: Taylor turns 32. Her AMA award for Speak Now can be seen in this photo she posts.

20 January 2021: Taylor is named 2022 Record Store Day Ambassador. The logo uses purple text and we lose our minds.

☆ the hawthorne brothers+ avery, max, libby, rebecca, and thea during the eras tour ☆

a/n: co-written by @nutellani and i. this was originally just going to be stored in my notes app because i had a big brain thought but then i decided that tumblr doesn't have enough tig content and i needed to help change that. i got stumped on a few things, so i of course asked my lovely mutual nova for some assistance <3 (tysm!!)

aaaanway, enough about that, here you go:

they obvi went to the concert in texas. they probably got tickets for both arlington and houston bc rich people yk

nash wore a sparkly cowboy hat and so did libby

(idc what you say, in my head, he likes glitter and i will stand on that hill)

in fact they all wore sparkly cowboy hats (xander forced grayson), but nash and libby's were matching

grayson ofc is wearing all black, very rep era but he's secretly a lover girl at heart. he also likes midnights because let's face it- who doesn't??

but everyone convinced him to get his jacket embroidered with "ts" and a few snakes along the sleeves and back to pull together the whole rep look

i don't think i finished talking about nash and libby?? anyway, matching sequin cowboy hats, nash wore a flannel with patches from different albums

him and libby spent a whole night designing it

libby wore a tee shirt from the midnights album

and the night before, nash and libby painted her favorite lyrics on some black cargo pants and some cute lil doodles

nash totally wrote N+L on one of the pockets inside a big red heart because i said so

very cute couple moment

thea is in her rep era because she's a badass so she wore all black with some maroon to make her outfit pop, she got her nails done and everything

girl was drop dead gorgeous

rebecca went with a more simplistic look, lavender flowly dress just under the knee, with a cardigan. yes, the cardigan. rebecca gives off very mellow and soft vibes so i think that's why she went with an evermore themed outfit

now, onto avery. i think her favorite albums is midnights and rep because of the vibe of the songs and overall it is just SO HER and i feel like she wore a shirt with the midnights album cover on it. she also wrote her favorite lyrics from the album on the front of the shirt with a fabric pen or something of the sort. i can also see her wearing a rep outfit too tho!! she is rich so since she could go to two concerts and wear both outfits ig lol

jameson is a total swiftie!! xander is too but we'll get to that next this boy would really like 1989 and a good handful of songs from lover because they remind him of avery

he would wear something 1989 themed but also something sorta flashy, i think

now moving onto max

she for sure loves the love triangle in folklore/evermore but also enjoys midnights

she radiates night owl energy because she'll stay up until 4am to finish a really good plot twisty dark romance novel and the whole track (midnights 3am edition) reminds her of her favorite ships. she makes edits and you can't convince me otherwise. although max does love evermore, she would totally love speak now era taylor and therefore would wear that really pretty purple sparky dress on the album cover!!

xander totally bought it for her

and with max looking like a literal princess, he would be mad blushing

and when he snaps out of his daze, he would tell her how pretty she is because let's face it- max is beautiful

now, as mentioned before, xander is a hardcore swiftie and i will always think this

he is a lover lover, so definitely went with a hat of the colors on the album

totally bitch-slapped toxic masculinity in the face by wearing pretty pastels

and definitely had the jacket from the yntcd MV!!

we love his nomad cowboy vibes

he also definitely vibes along with whatever libby likes too because he's down bad-

definitely shed a few tears during all too well ten minute version even though he tried to hide it

cus it reminded him of emily

i hate her with a passion

this isn't about her though

he loved the song and performance for 22 since he's in his 20's and his family is always telling him to loosen up

attending this concert definitely helped him

screaming along to style for sure!! me and nova were talking a bit about how he fits the description-

bonus: i almost forgot to include oren and alisa, im so sorry, im very sleepy!! anyway, oren refuses to wear anything other than his usual attire meanwhile this concert is one ofbthe very few instances where you see alisa in casual clothes. not many people know (other than the hawthornes of course) that she's a swiftie because she always acts so professional. she wears that one red letters shirt that says "who's taylor swift, anyway? ew." and everyone does a double take cus she also has her hair down and doesn't look formal lmao. during some songs avery looks over her shoulder and swears she could see oren have the slightest smile and head-bumping along to the music.

to wrap it all up, they would ALL HAVE THE NUMBER 13 PAINTED ON THEIR HANDS IN DIFFERENT COLORS AND FONTS!!

and also a little extra because me and nova were having big brain moments and i HAVE to include it, it would be a crime if i didn't

They would all scream to paper rings but guess what else?? a PROPOSAL!!

libby is so into the performance, it takes her a minute to realize that the stage screen is on her

she's confused because why would the cameras be on her??

and then taylor would point just behind her to where nash was on one knee

the ring wasn't shiny, it was literally a paper ring

nash didn't have a full on speech planned out

but of course libby would say yes

they kiss, it's on the big screen and everyone (taylor, backup dancers, everyone) cheers

it was caught on camera by practically everyone which leads to their engagement going viral all over tik tok and other media platforms!!

after the concert, back at Hawthorne House, they made a resin/epoxy(i think that's what it's called) mold to preserve the ring, and keep it from getting damaged

and the end because not only can i not think of anything else, but it's 4am while i save this to my drafts-

A Spectacular Fashion Voyage with Taylor Swift's Eras Tour!

As the final notes of the American leg of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour echo in our hearts, let's revel in the extraordinary fashion journey she's gifted us with! From the mesmerizing Lover era to the captivating depths of Reputation, each phase unveiled a distinct style, outfits that spoke volumes, and an aesthetic that transcended time.

She starts the show in her Lover Era with “Miss Americana and the heartbreak prince” followed by the first bridge of the night form “cruel summer”. For this era she has worn three custom bodysuits from Versace, all of them full of rain stones in shades os pink, blue, gold and purple, inspired byDuring this set in “The Man”, over the bodysuit, she wears a sparkly blazer as a dress, also from versace.

Fearless is next, Roberto Cavalli was in charge of creating these dresses that Swift rocked while dancing in a storm. The gold fringe dress was reminiscent of a similar look the designer created for her Speak Now Tour in 2011, the three dresses rememore the ones she wore back them, golden fringe and tassels that belong to her more than ever.

Long story short, while performing various songs from her album Evermore she took the stage in a yellow Etro dress that featured a corset top and beading detail down the front. For her magical performance of “Willow” she added a matching Etro cape. Playing into the woodsy nature of the Evermore album with a darker burgundy color and ruffles throughout Marco de Vincenzo, creative director of Etro, designed another dress for this set.

One of her most dramatic looks was the Roberto Cavalli one-legged jumpsuit. The design features a black sheer sleeve, glittering material and a three-dimensional embroidered snake motif winding from the bottom of her leg to the top of her neck. The ruby red snake contrasts with the black bezels of the design, it was reminiscent of the many bodysuits Swift wore during Reputation Tour as it was covered in black sequins scales.

For the end of a decade and the start of an age, she wore a custom-made Zuhair Murad Couture tulle ballgown – featuring beautiful beading, sequins, pearls and crystal embellishments all over the voluminous skirt and bodice. The impressive dress required 50 metres of tulle, while the elaborate design took more than 350 hours of handwork to create in the brand's atelier. In addition to the shimmering Zuhair Murad gown, after the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) she wore a beautiful lilac Nicole + Felicia ballgown, featuring a tiered tulle skirt that captured the light beautifully, thanks to its crystal-embellished finish. Another gown Swift fought dragons is was a Elie Saab one covered in flower apliqué and shimmery beading.

She was never good at telling jokes but the punchline goes, and she know it too well because she wore a sequinned Ashish t-shirt embroidered with quotes such as “Who’s Taylor Swift any wat? Ew”, “A lot going on at the moment” and “we are never getting back together like ever” with a Gladys Tamez Millinery hat that she gave to different fans every night.

So far we had a marvelous time leading to Folklore where the singer performed in a more delicate look in the form of a floaty, layered lilac dress by Alberta Ferretti. "Thinking about these stage dresses for her also pushed me to reflect on my career milestones," explained Ferretti. "I think what we have created reflects this journey where the key elements of my style stand out: lightness, femininity, romance, attention to detail and a delicate, gentle seduction." She wore a green chiffon gown with a deep neckline, flowing sleeves and embroidered leaf detailing, designed by Alberta Ferretti too. Swift added to her repertoire of beautifully designed dresses in a custom-made orange Etro gown, with an embroidered ruffled bodice.

Darling, she’s nightmare dressed like a daydream in three shimmering two-pieces by Roberto Cavalli. Its beautiful design gave the illusion of crystal water droplets, which moved effortlessly as she performed onstage. She wore the outfit with her go-to sequin Christian Louboutin boots. For the surprise song, Taylor topped this cavalli matching sets with Jessica Jones ruffled dresses in matching colours.

From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes, the last part of the show started with a midnight blue bodysuit full of sequins and rainstones with a matching garter by Oscar de la Renta. In a lighter shade of blue, Zuhair Murrad designed another beaded bodysuit. In the lasts shows in LA, she also wore a bodysuit similar to the one she wore in the 1989 tour, with cut-outs and fringe bottom. Every time, everybody agrees that Taylor Swift wears the best looks on stage, and for Anti-Hero Taylor wears her second Oscar de la Renta look consisted of a sequinned 'aurora borealis' T-shirt dress with a co-ordinating lavender faux fur coat, which also featured delicate crystal droplets. For Karma she vibes like that with a tassel coat just to say see you later to the swifties.

Taylor Swift Albums As Aru Shah Characters (or vice-versa) (???)

Debut: Hira. She's young, seemingly innocent, but she's definitely experienced more than her fair share of heartbreaks and sadness. While singing along to Tim McGraw, Our Song, or Picture To Burn, she draws on those first few moments when she met Brynne. The country style and easy patterns soothe her- she definitely loves Shania Twain, too.

Fearless TV: Kara. Needless to say, most everything she's done to get to this point has required her to be fearless. She is all forbidden destinies and regrets, crying and hoping and crying some more. She'd definitely scream along to Fearless, and You Belong With Me, and sometimes with the Sleeper she'd hum Fifteen and Love Story- just for the feeling of a normal childhood.

Speak Now TV: Rudy. He only picked this because he saw the fabulous purple album cover and thought of dark benevolent queen. He thinks of the first time he met Mini when he listens to Enchanted, because he's sure the whole world is in love with death's daughter. He recreates the intricate sounds of Better Than Revenge, Speak Now, and Sparks Fly with his stones, soon getting his own recording studio to record his instrumental covers of them. And of course, Mean empowers him to brush past all the idiots who made fun of him being colorblind and a failure- cause they're pathetic and alone in life and mean.

Red TV: Malini. Do I even need to explain? Throughout the separation and divorce with Aiden's dad, she definitely listened to All To Well (Ten Minute Version) on repeat, nostalgically played 22 for Aiden, and finally, when she got a girl's night out, played We Are Never Getting Back Together. The heartbreak and cheating in Red highlights all her relationship troubles and how she comes out of them stronger in the end.

1989: Brynne. It's her workout music all the way. And life music too. She does HIIT sessions to Shake It Off and New Romantics, and dances to Out Of The Woods with Hira when it's late and they can't sleep. The feeling of reinvention and starting anew really draws her to the album- and who can blame her? (Plus, she was totally jamming to Rudy's TSwift battle music in SoD)

Reputation: Aru. She struggles with her legacy, her reputation, throughout the series. The thrumming beats and quick mood shifts of ...Ready For It? stimulate her ever-speeding mind and she loves making fun of Aiden with Gorgeous, the entire song a huge excuse to outright flirt with him. Getaway Car is her and Rudy's go-to car song when they drive alone, and there are days when Aiden finds her crying to Dress and Delicate in the shower. During and after the final battle, Don't Blame Me and I Did Something Bad were the only things she could hear in her ears- they were deafening, and a way of her brain guilting and processing all the events.

Lover: Aiden. I immediately knew this was his. He's surrounded by love, constantly, despite being afraid of it, calling upon Death By A Thousand Cuts. With his mom he softly sings Soon You'll Get Better and with Brynne and Mini they karaoke It's Nice To Have A Friend. His dad gets a very blurry video of Aiden and Bee one year in Father's Day in pink cowboy boots singing I Forgot That You Existed and his father never texts back. Ever the feminist and bisexual icon, he's out here bopping to The Man and You Need To Calm Down. He makes fun of Aru liking I Think He Knows, but that's nothing compared to his 2 am serenades of Lover. His favorites, though, are Paper Rings and ME!

Folklore: Mini. The med student of Epiphany. The calm, the quiet, the casual anxious spirals. Yearning at desperate when she hears Invisible String, Rudy cries when she sings it. Her mom hates Exile, but Mini hears it and thinks of all the ways she could fail and cries to it some nights. Seven reminds her of running around in a field of sunflowers as a little kid, not a care in the world, forgetting allergies, grades, or Pandava stuff. August is her back to school calling, a reminder of responsibilities and how they're not always bad. Cardigan is her pick me up when she's missing Rudy- not that he's ever too far.

Evermore: Suyodhana. Willow. He can't love the way he wants to, he can't say yes without worrying about everything- he is Champagne Problems. Forbidden, murderous, No Body, No Crime was made for him.

Midnights: Krithika. The definition of Anti-Hero. A lot of the series wouldn't exist without her causing more and more problems, despite being well-intentioned, she keeps messing up, and finally in NoI she starts owning up. Her glittering confidence in the early books beckon to Bejeweled and her ever-sermonizing self would scream Karma at the top of her lungs. Question...? would remind her of everything she left in the lamp, Suyodhana, Aru's chance at a father- the love of her life.

My Eras Tour Fits, One For Each Era!

also pls bear with me on this, I am boring and dont rly know how to dress, so these may not be that cool

obligatory tagging the people who asked for it + swiftie mutuals: @dybalaispretty, @lonely-salamander, @rainingmbappe, @liverpool-enjoyer, @purefractals, @tam-is-blogging, @charlesluvr !!!!

General Swiftie Fit: I could only put 10 images in this post so I just wanted to describe my general swiftie concert outfit, which would be the iconic 22 outfit, except with full length sweats not tiny shorts because like. I do not have beautiful slender legs like Mrs. Swift.

Now, onto the Eras:

I just wanted to go for a simple country look. In Swiftiedom, green is the official color of debut, so I went for some supercute green cowboy boots and a simple cowboy outfit! Underneath the plaid shirt I'd imagine I'm wearing one of those "Who's Taylor Swift Anyways? Ew." shirts. I know that's from 22 but I don't care lol.

Yeah don't judge me. I would pull up with the notepad as well, I would write the chants on it cuz I don't like shouting. I wouldn't wear the hoodie unless it got super cold, but I still made sure the hoodie was on theme! Also I'm aware that's not the pajama bottoms she wore in the vid, I wanted them to be fearless-colored (golden yellow)!

Since I couldn't wear the iconic Speak Now dress (way too impractical to wear to a concert LOL) so I went for like, a groom's look? I just realized I forgot to put trousers in this. Well they would be a dark purple, much darker than the shirt, almost black. I went for white gloves because it just gives me bridal vibes idk? Like a groomsman. This fit would look perfect beside the Speak Now dress, which is what I was going for.

Yeah don't judge me. Reputation is my favorite album. I would 100% go ham and go full bad boy biker with this one! The shirt says "and in the death of her reputation, she felt truly alive" which is the quote I live by. I think I would slay this fit. Too bad I have zero (0) money.

This isn't exactly what I'd wear. 1) the shirt would have even BOLDER colors. As well as the jacket. This is basically a You Need To Calm Down fit... I love that song so much it makes me wanna dance. Also, my jacket would say "The Man" on the back. I would also do that lover makeup thing with the eye heart.

"who brings headphones to a concert" well DUH i'm not wearing them. Sometimes we sacrifice logic for the sake of the serve! Also, my stuffed husky, Dustin, is part of this fit, but I can't get a good enough pic of him. Just know he is part of this, I wanted this to give "I'm still in bed" vibes, cuz that's what folklore is to me as an album? Idk, it just gives me that, "I wrote this while nestled under the covers" feel.

This is just meant to replicate what Taylor already wears on the album cover. Also, I would have a champagne glass.

And last but DEFINITELY not the least, my Midnights fit! I also designed this as a general Eras fit, because tbh the Eras aesthetic is kind of the Midnights one too, if that makes sensee? I wanted this one to give the vibes of that You're Losing Me line, "I'm the best thing at this party, I wouldn't marry me either". Clearly stylish, but meant to be in the back of the party, not the center.

She reaches a door at the end of the staircase and opens it, revealing a school roof and the summer sky painted a bright and blinding blue.

A blue-haired girl sits by the fence, sipping from a bottle of strawberry soda. Yui goes over and sits down next to her. Together, they watch a video of idols performing on stage. The show is over. Yui beckons for her friend to follow her, excitedly running across the now empty stage. Without the colourful spotlights and flashy visuals being shown on screen for the show, the stage looks awfully grey and dull. Yui looks back at her friend as the girl jogs over to catch up to her. Above them, a spotlight jerks and falls.

The last shot of the MV shows a close up of Yui flinching, then her expressions morphs into one of horror. The MV ends.

I will be honest there were quite a few from the last few days that made me stroll down clownelia street again that something was happening tonight

First was in the I can see you music video she ended it driving a getaway car towards 1989 so people thought double drop with Rep but I wasn’t clowning that hard 😂 figured it was one of the two next though.

Then main one for it happening today specifically was 8/9 would have been 8 years, 9 months and 13 days from its original release date and she is wayyy too much of an Easter egg mastermind to pass up at least announcing something tonight.

SoFi stadium also released some photos welcoming Taylor to the city earlier last week and one of them had a lifeguards stand with 1989 Taylor’s version written on the side which was suspicious 😂

Back when she announced the speak now tv release date the show before the announcement the bracelets you’re given to wear they flashed purple 3 times and I guess last night the bracelets flashed light blue 5 times which I found out about this morning and double downed on my clowning😂

The jacket she wore during the lover set at last nights show was new dark blue color as well as her bodysuit during midnights was new and was sooo similar to the bodysuit she wore during 1989’s tour so those got my hopes up even more for an announcement during tonight’s last show.

Then today there was a tweet from Taylor nation with a bunch of numbers that added up to 89 before the show started. And during the show tonight two other dresses changed to a new blue color that both looked like the 1989 blue vibe and then for the 1989 set she usually switches it up with a pink, green or yellow two piece sparkly set that she then has a matching color dress cover she puts on before she does the surprise songs and bc of the midnights and lover jacket changes last night I said to my sister this morning what if instead of pink, green or yellow it’s LIGHT BLUE and I was right😭 it was so pretty too!!

So yeah these were the main ones that were pretty fun to put together and then for the surprise songs tonight she played the last one from 1989 and then New Year’s Day from Repuation so I think Rep Taylor’s version will release on New Year’s Day or maybe we’ll get the announcement? I’m calling it now😂

When Aki had woken up in the hospital, there had been no one waiting by his bed.

He wouldn’t have expected it either way; he didn’t have many people in his life, not since his mother had passed. His bandmates had sent stuff, of course. Chocolates, flowers, balloons that read “Get well soon!”. But they had lives, and couldn’t spend most of them waiting for him to wake up from a three-day coma, unlike parents or siblings did.

Therefore, the first person he had exchanged words with had been his roommate. A man around his age, who had the top half of his face covered in bandages.

‘Hey, glad to see you up.’ He seemed sincere. How could he be so happy about the fate of a complete stranger? ‘My name’s Alex.’

They had introduced each other, talked a little bit. When Aki had mentioned he was a singer, Alex had laughed and nodded, pointing with his head towards the door.

‘Ah, I guessed you were someone famous. Every few days a paparazzi tries to sneak in and take some pictures, bribe the nurses for information.’

He must have seen the apprehension in Aki’s features, because he quickly added: ‘Don’t worry, though. Nothing has leaked.’

In a surprising turn of events, Aki had probably made his first real friend in years.

He had smiled, laughed. And when he had got discharged from the hospital, he had exchanged numbers with Alex, promising to meet again soon. For coffee, for a jamming session, since he liked to sing and played many instruments as well, or… simply to catch up.

And still, happy as he was, Aki couldn’t shake the feeling that he had lost something.

He couldn’t even begin to explain what it was. He had been on his car when the meteorite had stuck Shibuya – a rare occurrence, but definitely possible scientifically speaking – on the way to some photoshoot to promote his next album. His heart had stopped for a little bit over four minutes. The doctors had reanimated him and, surprisingly, hadn’t found any permanent brain damage due to the lack of oxygen. "You're extremely lucky", they had told him.

And yet, Aki knew something was wrong, deep inside.

His songs revealed as much. His pen furiously scribbling on the pages of his notebook, writing about a woman he didn’t know, that maybe he had seen only as he had been crossing the bridge between life and death. That he was certain he wouldn’t stop looking for, and would always hope to reunite with… even if it took him decades to do so.

Nothing could compare. No one.

‘So your girl is a fan, huh?’ Aki asked, perfectly drawn eyebrows raised.

‘She is,’ Alex nodded, his face shining bright, like every time he talked about Cass. They had also met in the hospital; she had been a victim of the meteorite too. It had been love at first sight, on both parts, or that was what the blue-eyed man had said. ‘When I told her I was going to hang out with you she almost had a heart attack. She proceeded to show me pictures of her as a teenager, dressed in black, wearing the same makeup as you do now and to give me a Top 10 of her favorite songs of yours.’

Aki couldn’t help but laugh, finding it endearing. ‘And you think that if I played in her birthday party…?’

‘I would be crowned the best boyfriend ever.’

A warm smile extending over the long-haired man’s lips, painted dark purple. He pretended to think about it for a little bit. But they both knew what the answer was going to be.

‘Fine. I will sing on Cass’ birthday.’

The day of the party came.

Aki didn’t know why he bothered putting on a show, he could have sat on a chair and sang without extenuating himself; the birthday girl’s eyes didn’t left Alex’s face, not even for a second, as she sang the lyrics (most of them about love) straight to him, stealing them from Aki and making them hers. Theirs.

This was, however, part of why he had become a singer, wasn’t it?

To make people feel things. Evoke emotions in them.

He was smiling when he finished his repertoire, leaving the mic there for an improvised karaoke contest organized by Cass’ brother, Hércules, who seemed to be as good of a showman as Aki was, even without the years of practice. He walked to the bar area to get a drink when he saw her.

A blonde woman, with long straight hair, a heart-shaped face. Freckles adorning it, beauty spots that Aki wished he could kiss, one by one. Had he died and gone to Heaven? No, but that was an angel was certainly walking amongst mortals. A goddess… like that of his dreams, whose face had always been hidden by some fog. But that he was sure looked very much like that of the girl.

He had to introduce himself. He had to approach her, ask her something. Whatever, it didn’t matter: how long had she known Cass for, if she liked the drink she was having, what was her favorite type of cake… He was scrambling his brains for something when she looked at him, smiled, and congratulated him for the concert.

Her voice. And the fact that he, who used his to earn a living, had lost his.

‘Thank you.’ He finally managed, with a croak. For existing, Aki added to himself, for approaching me.

He couldn’t let the opportunity pass. And that’s why he offered to pay for the woman’s next drink.

‘All drinks are free,' she laughed, but not at him. ‘The price was included in the reservation of the place.’

‘Then, let me give you my name. Aki.’

Would bowing to her be too much? Perhaps, but he was a strange man of strange customs, and so he did. She didn’t seem to mind, because she smiled and replied with a word Aki hoped he could say every single day from then on; Airi.

Night went on, ending with a kiss goodbye at her door and a promise to see each other soon.

‘In the morning, soon?’ A plea to a God. They were usually deaf, blind, and mute. But this one answered, curving the corners of her lips upwards.

‘Perhaps.’

The next time he performed, Aki’s dark eyes darted across the room until they found hers. In the first row, the object of his devotion, love in the purest form.

He thanked everyone in the crowd for their attendance. Grinned at their exhilaration. Sang. But he had to apologize, secretly if he wouldn’t do it out loud, because his music today – and ever since she had walked into his life – was not for them, not really. It belonged to the person whose beating heart pumped blood at the same rhythm as Aki’s. Airi Takahashi.

So after watching the Bejewelled video once or twice, these are the Easter eggs I’ve found.

The next single is going to be lavender haze, because the third floor elevator button Taylor presses is Lavender.

There’s also a double reference to all her previous albums in the colours of the floors- first is green for debut, second is yellow for fearless, third is purple for speak now, fourth is red for RED, and fifth is blue for 1989, which is the floor she gets off on and meets the Fair Goddess

Theres also referencing towards the Wildest Dreams music video when Taylor gets off in the 1989 floor, because she looks similar to the scene in the mv where she goes to watch the movie they made.

While on the third floor, Taylor is dressed in a midnight blue coat, and when she takes it off, she’s covered in jewels colour-coded for her previous albums; she also wears a necklace with each jewel (album) on it- this is also a reference to my tears ricochet, when Taylor sings “you wear the same jewels that I gave you as you bury me”, but Taylor’s the one wearing the jewels now, which references her re-recording her masters

Taylor’s also wearing purple/lavender earrings when she gets back in the elevator, and poses similar to when she performed at the VMAs for the first time after news of her masters being sold came out- so my guess is, we’re getting Speak Now TV next

Considering Taylor also got off on the 1989 (fifth) floor, we might get 1989 TV after Speak Now TV

Taylor also looks a lot like she did in the Ready For It? mv when she’s first in the elevator, so we might also be getting reputation TV after 1989 TV or before Speak Now TV

When Taylor gets off at the 13th floor and performs in the talent show, she’s wearing a midnight blue ¿bikini? encrusted with jewels colour-coded to the theme of her previous albums. So maybe we’ll get all the re-recordings after Midnights?

Lastly, when Taylor’s in the castle she won, it’s being crumbled by dragons, which might be a reference to call it what you want - “my castle crumbled overnight” and reputation TV in general

I’m guessing there’s a lot more to the castle and the moon and stars in the last scene of the mv, but I can’t quite figure out what they are yet

Hoping I’ll find out more Easter eggs as I watch the video again

I have barely any followers so I dont expect anybody to see this. But if there is any place to talk about my love for Taylor, it is here.

I've had a few people ask me why I love Taylor Swift so much. I understand why they ask, and why I might get weird looks, parasocial relationships and whatnot. But what they don't understand and what I have a hard time communicating is that Taylor is more than just music to me.

We grew up together. I'm five and a half years younger than her, so she completely shaped my adolescence. When Debut came out I was just starting the 6th grade, the grade when I learned some harsh lessons about bullying and friendships.

Fearless came out in the middle of 8th grade, the worst year of my life. That album was a comfort to me when everything else seemed hopeless. I had cut-outs from J-14 magazine plastered on my walls, of Taylor and the Jonas Brothers. I tried to convince my teacher that we should sing Fifteen at our 8th grade graduation (I lost that one).

Speak Now came out when I was 15, and I listened to that album until every word was ingrained in my brain. My older cousin bought us tickets to her Speak Now tour for my birthday, and she was my first ever big concert. We drew 13's on the back of our hands and screamed along with her while she sang Mean barefoot, while she hit giant bells during Haunted (my favorite song at the time), while she floated over the crowd on her balcony in her Love Story outfit right in front of us, close enough I thought if I reached out I could touch her. I don't remember which cover she sang, but she did it in her purple dress, with sharpie scrawled across her arms. I took so many blurry and grainy photos of her that day. Speak Now will always have a very special place in my heart.

Red came out when I was 17. I learned through one of her diary entries that she had actually written the song Red on the flight home from our concert. To think that I saw her not even 24 hours before she wrote one of the most iconic songs of her career was mind blowing. I was dating now, so all of the songs about relationships became relatable for the first time. I knew from the moment I heard it that All Too Well was the best song of her career, and I have some obnoxious Facebook posts to prove it. The Last Time became one of my favorite songs she had ever made. Flash forward 5 years and I was posting 22 on my Facebook the minute it hit midnight. (Yes, Facebook. I'm old and uncool, we've established that already.)

1989 came out the year after I graduated high school. I was on my own for the first time, completely unprepared and immature, with a toxic partner who I ended up staying with for 5 years. I still have distinct memories of riding the bus past the WWU campus on my way to work, blasting the album in my headphones. I was in my semi-popular Lana Del Rey Tumblr days then, and you best believe I was making gifsets of the Blank Space music video. These were also the years when I sank into my deepest depression. 1989 was a bright light in that darkness.

Reputation came out when I was actually 22, right after leaving the five year relationship, and leaving everything I owned behind me or in storage, while my ex took my two beloved cats. This was my revenge era, my short lived "hoe phase" if you will. I remember listening to it for the first time in the car with my mom while driving to Seattle. I remember listening to it in the kitchen with my then 11 year old sister, and her saying "well that's inappropriate" during one of the songs (probably Dress). I was a little too harsh when I said, "well she's a grown adult, shes writing for herself, not writing for kids." What a brat. I specifically remember one Tumblr post from a fan that went to the Secret Sessions, of her gasping and saying "Taylor!" in a scandalized way during one of the songs (my guess is, again, Dress) and Taylor replying something along the lines of "I know, right!" To this day, Reputation is the album I have the most fun listening to, and the one I blast the loudest in the car.

Lover came out when I was 24, living in a small room without a door in my Grandma's house that doubled as her office. This was the no privacy era and it did NOT slay. This was also the era that I was in love with someone I shouldn't have been (you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes). Every love song on that album was dedicated to him. False God became a new favorite. This was the time right before it all fell apart, when the entire world shut down and I hurt people and was hurt myself (again, stupid prizes).

Folklore came out in the midst of being completely isolated from the world, except being dropped off at work every day and trying to go to college online. The beginning of my severe and debilitating germaphobia. The constant fear that I would catch COVID from my irresponsible coworkers. Not to mention, my heart was ripped open because I was August, and she was Betty. This album, I think, is the one where I couldn't deny the similarities to my own situation. It felt like it was meant for me, in that moment. Seven was for the little me that died when I was young. This Is Me Trying was a letter to my loved ones, when I couldn't explain that my brain was actively trying to kill me. I've only listened to Hoax twice, because that one is the most painful. I was the epitome of "I can go anywhere I want, anywhere I want, just not home."

Evermore, bless it's heart, came out of nowhere and was an amazing surprise. That being said (Ryan Bergara voice), Tolerate It, Happiness, Ivy, Long Story Short, Closure, Evermore and Right Where You Left Me were a twist in the knife of a trauma that wouldn't leave me, no matter how hard I tried. I was out on my own, truly alone, for the first time in my life. And I was terrified that, like Taylor said, this pain would be forevermore.

The re-records were amazing. I was so proud of Taylor for sticking up for herself and challenging the leeches that had gotten rich off of her talent. The moment she hinted at the 10 minute version on social media, I flipped my shit. Again, I have Facebook posts to prove it lol. I memorized the new verses in a day, I listened to it on repeat for weeks. I was staying at an airbnb the day Red TV came out, and I spent that night dancing around the kitchen with my headphones on.

And now... Midnights. I'm 27 now, and by this point I've lived a thousand different lifetimes. I listened to it in my dorm room alone, with my headphones on the second it was released. And then for good measure, I listened to it again the second the 3 AM version came out. I always need the second listen, to really soak up and understand an album. I made a bracket tournament thingie of all of the songs, and at first Vigilante Shit won, but after a couple more listens, Karma replaced it in the top spot. I listened to this album so much, on repeat constantly, that even though it was released in October, every single song made it to my Spotify Wrapped (not to mention the fact that I was in the top 2% of TS listeners). I was lucky enough to score tickets to the Era's tour, after much anxiety and freaking out from crashing websites and delayed sales. I screamed as soon as it was confirmed. Things have been rough, especially in the last month or so. One of the only things keeping me hopeful is the fact that in 4 months, I will get to see one of my favorite people in concert again.

That's not to mention the merch over the years. A Speak Now Tour shirt, notebooks and posters with Taylor's face on them, two signed CD's, a Red cardigan, a "fuck the patriarchy" keychain, The Scarf, and a few (not as many as I'd like) vinyls. I'm still pissed that my 1989 CD with the polaroids is lost somewhere in my storage unit.

At this point, if anyone is reading this, which I doubt they will, and especially if they have read this far (I'm sorry this post turned into a monster), they're probably thinking that I am a weirdly obsessed fan. Someone who thinks that someone they've never met in person is their BFF. I don't think I'm either of those things, but Taylor Swift has, and always will be a comfort to me. Especially as a neurodivergent person, having just ONE person who has been consistent for most of my life, someone who I can look up to and learn from, music I can listen to and immediately be comforted, is essential. At this point, now that I really think about it, Taylor Swift really is one of my special interests, and she has been long before I even knew that special interests were a thing (late diagnosed).

On top of all of this, she is just a genuinely good and kind person. You don't see that super often, in this cut throat industry. She is someone to look up to, even if Dear Reader says otherwise.
