A #Sororism ...I say this because all too often folks think that they are deserving of an answer to their questions. Especially when it is a personal one 😂 "How are you feeling?" "Why do you act that way?" "why are you leaving me?" "What are the secrets to the universe?" "Tell me how you did that?" I think the idea that we deserve an answer to our question is ego-based. It's based on self importance, and the premise that we are entitled, we are in need and you should help, we have value etc. This applies to everything we inquire about. The sooner we realize that other people do not have to cater to our demands, the freer we will be from depending on other people to validate our interest, and questions, our ideas about our self and our ideas about the world around us. here's why, we will trust our own analysis of any given situation, we will trust our own research, and we will trust our own feelings about what is what and why. When asked, My Dad used to say "God gave you everything you need, a mind, arms, legs, go figure it out" Figuring it out, is an important step to becoming illuminated, a true co-creator of the reality that you perceive. In Magic it is imperative that one is clear about what they believe and trust themselves and their abilities implicitly. Ask yourself this... the person that you ask, do you trust them? Do they have more experience? Are their lives better than yours? Do you know them? Are qualified to answer your question? So many are just lazy, and want quick & easy answers. We all have the same grey matter in our heads, we have the same access to information, we have the same resources, and the same opportunity. An answer is so much more rewarding and gratifying when it is discovered on its own, and self validated. Trust yourself, love yourself, Consider carefully what you ask of another and why you ask. And if they decline to answer don't take it personally. Something we discussed at my book club tonight. It can be challenging sometimes folks, because life can pull us in many directions, strain us, and stress us, depress us, and alienate us. Shit it can feel like the whole world is out to get us. The key to overcome is to remember that the storm rages first inside of you. Calm that storm, and the one you experience outside of you will become calm too. This is because we are the Directors of our own life movies. AND we are the Actors. It plays in a weird maniacal theater though, in that whatever you project on the screen, the audience feels it too. So want a family film? Go shoot that Like Action and Adventure? Go site survey for a location! A heartwarming comedy? You can do that too. A drama filled with life lessons? Guess what? You can have that too. U already know this right? To be the I AM of your own lifes performance means more than just saying the words, or nodding at the platitudes. It means becoming that Director, and script writer, and Actor(tress) and making the movie you want to see. So ready set and... #Magic101 A Magical ritual is a lot like a science experiment. 🔬In science it is similar to the term Quantum Mechanics. We create an experimental parameter or clinical trial (ritual) expecting a specific result (Intention). When we execute the formula within these control factors, (Spell) we set into motion the particles and atoms⚛️ all around us and in space🌌 and time⏳ (Trial). The conclusion comes when we see a reaction😮 to our exercise (cause & effect). If the reaction is time sensitive⏱️, the molecules and atoms have to replicate or decay over time (like in a #curse). When the experiment is successful we see the positive results. In magick it is our Will bending the Laws of the Universe and in turn it responds to our expectations by attracting to us the results we expect. In this case instead of a laboratory we are using a ritualistic practice. 😊 This is overly simplified of course but you get the gist. Reality responds to our thoughts and expectations of it. When our expectations are negative the experiment is still a success just one of negative outcomes, and the opposite is true. If events in our lives are making us suffer we can change it, by crafting an experiment that will raise our expectations. It can be done in a lab, a cauldron, our kitchen, our yard or our minds 😊 In all cases both in Science and in #Magic belief is the catalyst for triggering the desired result. Recreating a ROTA Magic Wand design can be more challenging than the freestyled original creation. 😁 When I am in the throes of creative inspiration everything is available to me. I have no limits. Every day we starts out like this... Bright, new, all of the possibilities are still waiting to be formulated. But for many folks they wake up in the morning and it's a continuation of the day before. They try to recreate maybe a pleasant day that happened in the past only to have it fall apart. I can recreate a wand design no matter how challenging, but in life we can't mirror the day before or the week before. But we are free to choose what we want but first we have to realize that in life we own nothing. With that realization comes the freedom to use everything at our disposal to create our own happiness.
