The Universe is a product of the imagination of Nature or God; but its processes can be guided to a certain extent by the will of the Adept.

WITCH WORLD AESTHETICS | CHARACTERS: Hilarion
That he was an adept I already knew, one above the Wise Women of Estcarp as I was above Ayllia in the scale of Power control. Now I learned his name, or rather the name by which he went, since that old law that the naming of true names was forbidden lest it offer some enemy a straight course into mastery held. He was Hilarion, and once he had dwelt in the citadel of the gate. He had created the gate because his seeking mind ever pushed on and on for new learning. And, having opened it, it followed that he was constrained to explore what lay beyond.
A. Norton, Sorceress of the Witch World

Theosophy in Star Wars: The Force, Its Sides and the “Two Paths”
Theosophy in Star Wars: The Force, Its Sides and the “Two Paths”
two central concepts HELD between Theosophy and Star Wars
There is no coincidence to the fact, there are similarities between Star Wars and Theosophy. The former is a fictional universe, but the latter is an actual high philosophical collection of teachings and ethical codes. In no other school of thought is the semblance in ideas as exact as it is in language, than between the force philosophy…

Love how by late game in stardew valley you can cast spells and teleport and change the weather and talk to animals and commune with spirits and dwarves and shadow entities but the only person who even acknowledges that you aren't a normal farmer and you've literally become a wizard is the one other wizard in town

can't stop thinking about poor Ruby having to improvise song lyrics to a great big goblin king and just coming up with 'it's good to meet you, good to greet you... good to say "how diddly deet you"'

it mattered because when my brother asked me what if this is the happiest you'll ever be? the best you'll ever get? the thing i felt was fear, not peace. everybody thought you were so perfect for me. even i thought you were "helping me grow". i had to challenge every internal clock. make myself more thoughtful, more kind, more beautiful.
i told my therapist it was good because i like the changes i made and there's something so strong about saying i did that. the problem is that i can like the difference all i want, but i changed for you. something akin to getting your name tattooed, all my progress is stamped with fuck you.
it was the happiest i'd ever been and also the best i'd ever gotten. i would still get in the car and think what the fuck just happened.

The Teachings of the Adepts, part II
“There is an invisible universe within the visible one, a world of causes within the world of effects. There is force within matter, and the two are one, and are dependent for their existence on a third, which is the mysterious cause of their existence. There is a world of soul within a world of matter, and the two are one, and caused by the world of spirit. And within these worlds are other worlds, visible and invisible ones. Some are known to modern science, of others she does not even know that they exist; for, as the material worlds of suns and planets and stars, the worlds of animate and inanimate beings, from man the lord of creation down to the microscopic world with its countless inhabitants, can only be seen by him who is in the possession of the powers necessary for their perception, likewise the world of the soul and the realms of the spirit can only be known to him whose inner senses are awakened to life. The things of the body are seen through the instrumentality of the body, but the things of the soul require the power of spiritual perception.
This power of spiritual perception, potentially contained in every man, but developed in few, is almost unknown to the guardians of science in our modern civilization, because learning is often separated from wisdom, and the calculating intellect seeking for worms in the dark caverns of the earth cannot see the genius that floats towards the light and it cannot realize his existence. And yet this ancient science, which the moderns ignore, is perhaps as old as the world. It was known to the ancient prophets, to the Arhats and Rishis of the East, to initiated Brahmins, Egyptians, and Greeks. Its fundamental doctrines are found in the Vedas as well as in the Bible. Upon these doctrines rest the fundaments of the religions of the world. They formed the essence of the secrets that were revealed only to the initiated in the inner temple where the ancient mysteries were taught, and whose disclosure to the vulgar was forbidden under the penalty of torture and death. They were the secrets known to the ancient sages and to the Adepts and Rosicrucians of the Middle Ages, and upon a partial understanding of their truths rests the system of modern Freemasonry.”

Because media comprehension and critical thinking is so dead I hope bad batch season 3 has a scene where Dave Filoni, in animated form, walks into frame with a chair where he then sits down and makes direct eye contact with the viewer as he says, “This next scene was directly influenced by the current day veteran crisis and the difficulties many ex-military members face while trying to integrate back into the civilian world. In fact, many of the themes and stories within the bad batch are reflections of what many service members experience, told through a Star Wars lens-”
And I hope he doesn’t blink once the entire time

"Revolutions Will Spring...Creeds and Powers Will Crumble"
“Koot Hoomi tells Sinnett first that the world must prepare itself for the manifestation of phenomenal elements in constantly augmenting volume and force. The age of miracles, he says, is not past; it really never was. Plato was right in asserting that ideas ruled the world; and as the human mind increases its receptivity to larger ideas, the world will advance, revolutions will spring from the…
