hello, ive just come from binging your entire zuko and sokka masterlsit.

i dont know how to express to you how fucking well written the zuko smau was. genuinely, that might have been my favourite smau ive ever read because it didnt just feel like a crack fic, there was plot and motivation to it and i ugh i started crying reading it. it was fantastic.

ive also just come from the ehfar series and i am politely begging you to add me to the taglist. you write so incredibly well and i on more than one occasion had to almost throw my phone across the room and dig my nails into my palms to prevent from yelling out loud because its just. its so amazing. it's been truly so fantastic to read and ive gotten so excited for whats to come.

ty lee and mai are dating

suki is bisexual but definitely more into ladies (I haven’t decided who I want her to be with, if anyone, she might just vibe)

Bo (reader insert) could be labeled as bi or pan, but definitely down to date whoever tf she’s into

future Kataang and Hakoda/Bato (do they have a ship name? Idk but I LOVE THEM)

I was undecided for a while about whether to make them high school or college age, but just in case I want to get spicy...

Suki, Sokka, Ty Lee, and Mai are all sophomores (19/20)

Katara, Bo, and some minor character are freshmen (18/19)

I’ll specify other characters as they come in!

ALSO!!! I’ve seen some posts of fans feeling like American fic writers tend to make their fics too westernized and I feel that. I’ll try to do my own research, and constantly refer to the ALTLA wiki for canon in-universe things I plan to reference. I don’t want to accidentally whitewash anything within a modern ATLA universe, so if there’s anything I can do to make it feel more authentic to what a modern ATLA might be like (ex: university structures) that can help me educate myself and you wouldn’t mind helping a girl out I would love you forever 🥺❤️

Oh Baby // First Day // Part Two

Pairing: Sokka x reader

Warnings: mom friend slur is used 😌, secret group chats, reader is still oblivious, zuko and mai are a thing

Summary: Y/n and the gang go to the first day of their shared home ec class.

A/N: ahhhh I KNOW I just posted two chapters but I am in LOVE with this story and I have a teeny tiny rat brain hehe so have another~

Part One // Series Masterlist // Part Three

“Do you know how I feel every time you say aloud ‘Hey Siri, text Y/n’s lover,” I blushed. I tried to hide my embarrassment, but it wasn’t working well.

“I know. Don’t care much though,” my sister responded. She was lounging in the passenger seat with her legs kicked up on the dashboard. “If you have such a problem with it either run him over like he asked or kiss him.”

“There is no in between with you is there,” I huffed. I swiped on my phone to make a tweet before we left. I looked up and saw Sokka in the middle of the road waving like a maniac. I put down my phone and waved back. “I am not running you over!” I yelled.

Sokka deflated immediately and sulked over to my car. Once he hopped in and shut the door, I finished my tweet, put my phone down, and put the car into drive.

“Took ya’ long enough, snoozles,” Toph grunted.

“I prefer my other name, if you don’t mind,” Sokka shot back, wrinkling his nose adorably. Or normally. Maybe I was a little biased.

I knew I had a crush on my best friend, but I did my best to hide it. Well, it wasn’t the best since everyone in the gaang except Sokka knew about my crush. I’m still denying it to their faces, but they know. They’ve told me a million times that he likes me too, but I have ignored them. He was just a good friend, there was nothing to say that he liked me by the way he acted.

“Y/n’s lover?” Toph smirked.

“No!” Both Sokka and I yelled at the same time. I looked at him and saw that his face was red and he was glaring at Toph. See? I thought to myself. The idea of being my lover is so terrible that he was getting upset with Toph.

“When will you get it through your thick skull that we’re just friends,” I sighed.

“Yeah, just friends,” Sokka echoed softly.

Toph turned up the music after that, her signal that she didn’t want to talk anymore. So we didn’t. We drove to Toph’s school and dropped her off.

Once Toph was dropped off, Sokka climbed up into the passenger seat.

“Hey watch it,” I cried, pushing on his leg that was in my face. “I’ll crash!”

“Should have given me more time to get into the front,” Sokka retorted.

“Our school is five minutes away, you could have waited,” I sighed.

We drove the rest of the way in silence, though it wasn’t long. We got out quickly and raced to our classroom so that we weren’t late. I sat down next to Suki, who had Katara and Aang on her left. Sokka sat on my right with Zuko at his side.

“Okay class,” the professor started. “My name is Dr. Sorenson and I am your professor for HECO 123. I know many of you find this a joke class, but I will assure you it is very serious. Though, I have some good news. There will not be a final.” The entire class cheered at that. I looked over to Katara and smiled in an I-told-you-so-way. “Instead there will be a project worth 60% of your grade with an essay on this project worth 20% for a total of 80% of your grade.”

The entire class groaned. I looked over at Katara with a sheepish look on my face. Oops.

“You may pick your partner though. Your welcome,” she added dryly. “Pick them now and then at the end of class before you leave write down on this piece of paper.” After that she turned to the board and started lecturing.

Zuko's P.O.V.

As Naomi watched my daughter I couldn't help but to pace back and forth outside the temple, with one of my hands on my hips. I was trying to wrap my head around this whole thing. Was she really gone? No she couldnt be gone. Could she? I was also scared to lose her to my sister, but over her giving birth I never dreamed. Maybe she was too stressed. I know we both were. In which case Azula technically did kill her and I'll be planning my revenge against her.

"Zuko..."

"Uncle dont try to talk me out of anything because it wont work. Azula did this to her and I'm gonna make her pay"

I could hear the anger rising in my voice as I spoke.

"I wasnt going to nephew, I was just going to say I have laid Y/n down to rest on her final resting place if you would like to say goodbye to her"

Once again I started to pace.

"No....I can't say goodbye to her...I won't just...let me get back at Azula for what she did"

"Get back at me, yeah right I'd like to see you try,"

He mocking tone sent fire coursing through my spine and I didnt even notice how I had made fire daggers appear in my hands.

"You did this!!" I shouted in pure rage.

"Guilty" she smirked with a mocking laugh.

I shot a fire blast at her throwing her back into the pole.

"I should've ended you when I had the chance!"

"But you didn't, why is that I wonder. Must be the good heart you got from mother. I'm glad I took after father"

I could feel the anger boiling hotter within the second and all I could see was the hot orange fire blast I had now aimed directly at my sister. Of course she had to immediately defend herself with her blue fire. At that moment I didnt care. I was determined to win. I breathed heavily from the rage and the will power it took to keep from breaking my end. Azula knew I was in a weakened state and unfortunately used this to her advantage. She made her flame larger, dissipating mine knocking me to the ground.

"Face it Zuko, you've never been as strong as me and never will be" Azula laughed mockingly as she stepped closer.

I rested up on my elbows again as I looked at her. I could see out of the corner of my eye Mai and Jett staying back and out of the way. Smart choice on their end. I stared at my sister directly.

"What are you waiting for then? End it,"

Azula smirked, "Oh I will and I'm gonna enjoy it,"

My heart raced as she made lightening come from her finger tips. Though I could feel at that moment a slight sense of peace because I knew I would see Y/n again.

"Zuko no!" My uncle called out.

"Stay back uncle its okay,"

"No!"

My uncle tried to go after my sister but all she did was knock him down and smirked back at me. I knew she was enjoying this too much. Just as she made the lightening bigger a large amount of air was shot directly towards us and my head turned so quickly to the side I almost gave myself whiplash.

"How many times have I told you Azula??? Leave me and Zuko alone!"

A bright smile came to my face.

"Y/n??"

Despite not wanting to tears actually came to my face seeing her. Not to mention even more pure joy seeing the look of anger that crossed my sisters face.

"What?! That's not possible!" Azula cursed in anger.

"Surprise bitch-"

A blue fire blast was shot her way but it was quickly extinguished with air. I smirked watching her feeling ever so glad to have met her.

Y/n's P.o.V

I laughed looking at Azula. A part of me honestly couldnt believe how pathetic she was.

"That all you got" I taunted.

It was worth it to see how angry she was becoming. She shot another fire blast at me and once again I blocked. Once the fire was diminished, I kept an air circle going and Naomi shot fire directly into the air circle causing it shoot directly at Azula. She looked shocked and a little scared. Again a fire blast from the girl only made this more fun for me. Noami threw a bucket of water into the air circle. I was able to manipulate the water and knock her directly onto her feet with it. The surprised look on her face actually made a laugh escape my lips. However she didnt give up as she stood to her feet shooting a larger blue flame at me. I made a side ways cyclone to dissipate it being knocked back a few feet. Naomi turned it up a notch and threw in several rocks, catching her off guard knocking her down again.

"Had enough yet?"

I smirked proudly.

"Never,"

She stood to her feet, forming lightning in her hands aiming it directly at me. I didn't hesitate for even a second making a larger cyclone appear. Noami took charge, throwing fire, water and earth into it allowing me to manipulate all elements giving it everything I've got making Azula fall weakly to the ground. She panted as I stepped closer.

"How?"

"I may not be the Avatar, Azula, but I am an Airbender and I know how to manipulate other elements, so yes I am stronger than you. Deal with it. Now I am going to take Zuko back to Ba Sing Se where our family is and you are never and I mean never going to hurt my family or friends ever again!"

She chuckled, "You'll never get Mai and Jett on your side," she mocked.

I snickered, "Sorry to tell you sweetheart but they took off...together, so you're on your own"

I turned my back to her laughing as I walked over to Zuko helping him stand up.

"You alright Zu?" I asked him softly.

"Yes I'm fine but...How are you alive?" He asked dumbfounded.

"I didnt mean to scare you love but it was the only way I could think to defeat Azula, please dont be angry with me"

He just looked at me for a moment before quickly wrapping his arms around me holding me tightly.

"Angry? I could never be angry with you. I was just scared,"

He buried his face in my neck as gentle tears fell from his eyes.

"Its okay I'm here my love, you didnt tell any of our friends I was dead did you?"

His eyes widened as he looked at me.

"Zuko?!"

"They had a right to know and I thought you were gone,"

I couldnt help to smile softly at him.

"I guess they did," I chuckled, "Come on we will go tell them together as we check on our daughter together,"

I took his hand smiling gently as I walked inside with him. I wasnt sure how today was gonna turn out but I can tell you one thing I'm not disappointed and now I dont have to be afraid anymore. I can finally be happy with the one I truly love.

I just had the greatest idea ever holy shit and just needed to share- the gaang but kpop au!!! THE POTENTIAL

LMAOOOO I SEE IT

Sokka is obviously the leader and a with his amazing rhymes he'd be a rapper ("My name is Sokka. It ends with an -Okka. Ladies you know I'll rock ya!")

Maybe this only makes sense to me but I see Toph as a dancer with a background in hip-hop. maybe a b-boy?

Aang is the lovable maknae that everyone fawns over. I see him as being one of those idols who used to be a classical dancer (ballet?) and then became an idol. He's a pretty good singer as well. (Possibly Kazuka from Le sserafim or maybe even Sunghoon from ENHYPEN or Jimin from BTS)

I see Katara as the ace of the group who is great at everything from dancing to singing and when she tries she can also be a great rapper. The mom of the group duh. (I dunno she gives Jihyo from TWICE)

Zuko is the main visual. I shall take no arguments. He's not a bad dancer as well. He's the idol who clearly wants to become an actor more than a performer. (There's a reason why his face inspo was Cha Eunwoo in my SMAU)

Suki was hard to place but I think she's the dancer who secretly has an iron grip on the rest of the group but is also so funny and silly (see Hoshi from SVT or J-Hope from BTS)
