A reason Izzy could respect a dog? They're all about loyalty. A dog is ride or die. Plus you can't get snuck up on with a dog. So Izzy, who I totally think would have sleep problems bc of THE FUCKING TOE THING, could sleep easier bc his dog would bark its goddamn head off if anyone came near his room.
OHHHH LOVE THAT FOR HIM
yeah I mean I think obvs there’s a lot of parallels between Izzy and being a ‘loyal dog’ that have been established in fanon so that’s a given, BUT ESPECIALLY THE THOUGHT AB HAVING A GUARD DOG LIKE,, ough. I LOVE.
honestly any animal that Izzy could intimidate people with he would enjoy I think
And thinking about it more like yeah, I think Izzy would definitely respect the loyalty of a dog!! But I think it would take a while to click in his brain, yknow? Like, for a while he’s just annoyed at how clingy the dog is and he’s always like ‘ugh why does it need to be with me ALL the time’ (while the poor crew tries to explain to him that that’s just how dogs work and ‘for god’s sake, it means it LIKES you Izzy’), until!! One day when maybe he gets freaked out or gets in a fight or something and the dog goes after his opponent and he’s just kind of taken aback by it and it’s like. Holy shit this animal is willing to defend me and stand by me for almost no reason?? I don’t deserve anything loving me like that….
so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.
Ya know, I imagine that for as kinky and wild Gale can be in the bedroom, I would think his favorite thing in the world is slow, sleepy, super affectionate sex.
It's that moment where him and his partner can just entangle themselves in each other, to feel every sensation of their contact with one another. No expectations, no words needed. Just a languid exploration of his partner's body using all the senses.
The little noises they make with every gentle thrust or thoughtful caress
The salty taste of their skin with each kiss.
The blissful look on their face as they come undone...that sweetest flush of their cheeks.
The feel of their skin, all scars, ridges, smoothness, or wrinkles. He will basically memorize the topography of his lover's body.
The smell of them...That natural, unperfumed fragrance that belongs to only his partner. As unique as a fingerprint.
Gale can take his time, bring all of these sensations to memory, savoring the closeness and precious time with his love. It's less about the sex itself, and more about bonding in a very mortal way. He thrives on that deep connection with his partner because it's not something he's ever been accustomed to, and hasn't gotten in a very long time.
He deserves so much love and affection, and equally (if not more so) wants to express that to his partner. As often as the world allowed him to.
There's something about Guillermo holding the "Gay Guy" sign and gradually getting more into the parade that is SO healing. King is letting himself have that joy💖
I hope u guys don't mind me posting these au doodles while I work on things ahaha
I also gave JD slightly longer hair in these doodles as a funny haha but I don't think it's funny anymore he looks genuinely good with his hair like that ahahaha I hope you're not mad at me for changing his au design a bit
i think we need to understand the gravity of how quickly Percy blames himself and his disabilities for the way his world is. how he's been made to believe over years and years that he's weird, that there's something wrong with him. Percy saying he should've been paying attention. Percy saying there's something wrong with his brain. Percy calling himself broken.. he's just a kid man
Generation Loss is a comedic tragedy in every sense of the word. Every character we see exemplifies this fact, but no one other than The Austin Show proves its truth.
We begin at the carousel. Austin, Gay, takes his turn by pleading for himself to live because he has a wife and children back home. The rest of the cast interrogates him about his “wife and kids,” clearly suspicious of his truthfulness without even knowing his dubbed “title.” Everyone in the room treats Austin like a joke.
In turn, so do we.
Next, we reach the closet and shortly after the failed drag show, Austin remarks, “Look, I uh… I didn’t expect to die here.” It’s a moment of pure honesty, whether we like it or not. It happens again when the Puzzler tries to party with them, and Austin has to angrily remind him that they are his captives and are actively trying to kill them.
Austin: “What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? We're trying to get out of here. I have children and wives— wife. One wife! What is this some sort of game? I’ve been stuck in hear for hours it seems. We’re trying to get out. Why is nobody else freaking out? We’ve got C4 strapped to our neck…”
It isn’t until Ethan’s death, his blood pooling out from underneath the door, Austin screaming at the others, begging them to have a reaction, to care about their circumstances, to care about death, that we finally understand Austin’s role in Generation Loss.
After all, in every great comedy, someone always has to play the straight man.
