i missed bleedman on DA, so i made this drawing of it.

What if.... Mojo Jojo kidnapped courage and bubbles come to the Rescue Instead of Blossom gets kidnapped by Mandark and Dexter rescues her? courage gets kidnapped by mojo Jojo by bell's plans. Meanwhile, Mojo Jojo was in his lab and put courage into a coffin that filled itself with water so he would drown. bubbles broke in and the great battle between her and mojo began. Thankfully, courage has a  powerful lungs, so Courage has been shown able to survive underwater for prolonged periods of time. but he unsure how long he could hold his breath much longer. so courage is fighting back for his life.

Oh this is fun, I don't have a ton. But I will share what I have.

This is more general than character specific, but all the Easy Co boys share books they've got. If one person gets their hands on a book it's gonna make its way through the company.

Snafu is absolutely the kind of guy who doodles all the time and often in the worst places. oh that was important? well now it's got silly little drawings in the margins.

Chuckler is the kind of guy who will reign himself in until he's close friends with someone but the second they're close he's constantly all over them. he's resting his arms on shoulders, he'll take a nap on them, he's sharing his clothes. Anything to show that his friend and to just be near them in general bc he's a touchy feely guy

For the headcanons, how about an AU where Julian is there from s1, employed by CCPD after their other CSI got struck by lightning and comatosed for 9 months and definitely wasn't coming in to do his job

Ooooh, I like this idea a lot. :D They really did need another CSI. I mean, presumably there are others, I dunno what was up with the backlog at the start of S4 other than maybe David Singh screwing with Barry a little bit (it was funny), but there have gotta be more CSIs stationed off site. Presumably though they've always got at least one on site CSI who can explain stuff to detectives or lawyers while still keeping up with their own work.

So I think here Julian would not have changed his last name. So he's still Julian Desmond and not Julian Albert. (He did change his name in the show, though it's not clear how much of that is to distance himself from the snafu at the dig site in India and how much was to distance himself from his family after his sister's death.)

In turn, his sister is alive here and so while his relationship with his parents is troubled, he's not estranged from them.

If Julian was already employed by the city and just picked to take over as the on site CSI in Barry's absence, then he'd be a meta in S1. I think it'd make an interesting storyline to have him be kind of a jerk about metas as he was in S3, but then really explore what it means for him to find out that he's a 'dangerous meta' too. He wouldn't be a bad guy, just kind of a low level antagonist who peaks when his powers emerge, but winds up an ally of Team Flash when they help him get his powers under control.

Julian and Barry would absolutely have friction at first. Barry doesn't like how his lab has changed while he was away and expects that Julian will go back to the offsite labs now that he's back. Julian isn't about to let go of the on site lab, he likes it there and it's his now. They eventually work things out, but it takes a while.

Comics Albert Desmond had dissociative identity disorder which is where his iteration of Alchemy came from, but neither the comics nor the show treated that disorder well so I'd want to leave that out for Julian, but he could still have powers similar to what the philosopher's stone gave him. Specifically the 'transmutation' that allowed him to trigger potential metas to gain powers caterpillar style. So maybe his powers activating accidentally creates the main antagonist of an episode at least once and he, rather understandably, freaks out over it.

Eobard would absolutely be fascinated by Julian's powers. If he can create metas, could he also take away meta powers too? EoWells wants to know the answer.

I think Julian wouldn't be main Team Flash. He helps out where he can, but he doesn't have to be a genius of all trades to give him something to do every episode the way S3 decided to go. He'd be ideal for giving Barry alibis when he has to run off during work hours to be the Flash.

No Julian/Caitlin. I wasn't interested in it when the ship was danced around during S3, so I wouldn't want to see it happen in an alt S1. Besides, Caitlin is pretty tied up in the Ronnie Lives/FIRESTORM plotline, so she still has her fiance around and wouldn't be interested in a complication anyway.

Who is Kid Eternity?

Kid Eternity is a public domain comics character who's sort of the 1940s' answer to Danny Phantom and Fate: Stay/Night. The Kid is a young boy who was killed when the Nazis sunk his grandpa's ship and got sent to a Suspiciously Non-Denominational Cloudy Afterlife. But because he died years and years before his time, Kid Eternity was given the ability to go back to earth and right wrongs. When he says the word "eternity", he can summon the spirit of a historical/literary character and command them to help him.

Because Kid Eternity's in the public domain, he's had a couple different incarnations. From the DC Comics wiki:

Kid Eternity was created by Otto Binder and Sheldon Moldoff, first appearing in Hit Comics #25. However, the New Earth version of Kid Eternity first appeared in Kid Eternity (Volume 2) #1 by Grant Morrison and Duncan Fegredo.

What is this project?

I've wanted to work on a webcomic for a while, because that's the best way to improve one's art. However, any story I've concepted for one is either best told as Not A Comic or is beyond my grasp as an artist. So I figured I'd add a middleman, and redraw a story told by someone else.

The goal here is to copy a few old Kid Eternity stories -- picking ones that aren't flagrantly racist (ah, 40s comics), and redoing the art and the character designs in a style that I can consistently draw.

In the long term, my goal is to turn this into an episodic webcomic series with an ongoing metaplot-- inspired by shows like Teen Titans (2003) and Gargoyles.

Is this legal?

Kid Eternity is in the public domain. Right now, DC Comics is writing stories featuring the character. But there's a bit of a legal snafu: Kid Eternity and all of his Golden Age appearances are in the public domain, but anything DC added is off limits. So I won't be calling the Kid "Kit Freeman", he won't be wearing sunglasses, he won't be associated with the Teen Titans, etc. etc. etc.

Will you ever finish this project?

This is explicitly a hobby project. So the answer is, I don't know. I like to start hobby projects and never finish them- I started this one years ago and never did anything much more than that one (1) illustration up top- but I'd like to get through at least one Hit Comics issue before I throw in the towel.
