Hello So I have a dirty Kinktober request so it's okay if you decide not to write it…

Your Haikyuu character of choice is in a new relationship, okay? A really healthy and full of love. He is sure that Y/N is the woman of his life.

Things change when he and his friends (other characters of your choice) meet to have a few drinks and play video games. Then, his friends show him some videos they recorded some time ago, before Y/N was his girlfriend. A curious videos to say the least...

The videos were sextapes of them with her (individually and other threesomes, foursomes, etc).

He knows he should be horrified, but for some reason he tells his friends to keep showing him more videos…He was never so horny and hard in his entire life.

You could write little drabbles representing each video or whatever you want!

atsumu is really happy, more than happy, he's ecstatic, he's in love. for the first time in his entire life he is in love and in a wonderful, beautiful, perfect relationship. his whole life has been a string of flings and one night stands, he thought that was what he wanted, he didn't think he'd ever settle down. until he met you. you're his soulmate, he knows you're the one.

it's off season currently so everyone is out for a couple of drinks. everyone's close together around a table so they can hear each other over the music. that night, just that one night changed how atsumu saw his perfect girlfriend forever. " 'm just saying shoyo ya don't seem ter type to be into freaky." atsumu shrugged his shoulders in dismissal, he honestly has no idea how they got in this conversation but everyone has already left apart from him, hinata and bokuto and they're talking about their sex life as bokuto's been complaining that he hasn't gotten laid in months.

"don't be so sure tsum tsum, last year with shoyo here was amazing," bokuto's replies.

"wait, what? you two?" atsumu was completely clueless, having no clue that they ever were together.

"not just us, we had a girl with us." hinata elaborates.

"yeah you wanna see?" bokuto asks making atsumu furrow his eyebrows in confusion momentarily. "do you still have the videos sho?" hinata reaches into his back pocket, pulling out his phone and moving closer to atsumu so he can properly view the screen. he goes through his phone a bit trying to find the right videos while atsumu is still processing this situation thinking this is going to be such a weird thing to say to you if you ask what he's been up to with the guys tonight.

"found it!" hinata says before tapping onto a video and bokuto also moves closer. as soon as atsumu sees the thumbnail his eyes widen and he covers hinata's phone with his hand. you've never told him about this but there's no way that isn't you, even from one frame he knows what his girlfriend looks like. "what are you doing atsumu?" hinata asks, looking around him to see if there's any reason for him to be covering up his phone.

"that's- that's m' girlfriend." atsumu says, close to shouting. everyone stays silent for a second.

"the one that's..."

atsumu finishing the sentence for shoyo, "yea, love of m' life."

more silence, just the music and the chatter of everyone around them but they don't say a word. atsumu is in complete shock, he never expected anything like that from you. he's not saying you're vanilla but he didn't think you ever had a threesome. "it was before you even met her atsumu." he knows it's a serious thing when bokuto chooses to call him by his given name.

atsumu's mouth is dry as he tries his best to think clearly on the situation, he's only had a couple of drinks but it's overwhelming to be sitting next to two people who have slept with his girlfriend. "you don't know it's her for sure. we could just check?" hinata tells them both.

he knows it's you, he knows, but he needs to see. he doesn't know why he needs to see but he does. he agrees and hinata presses play. he watches you moan around bokuto's dick as the camera pans down to where your body connects with hinata's, repeatedly, hard and fast. atsumu hates to think it but it's turning him on incredibly, it's better than any porn he's ever seen and he knows it's wrong and should feel conflicted but watching you get destroyed by two of his closest friends is making him harder than he's been before in his life. he watches with rapt attention. "do ya want'a come back to mine tonight?"

Today he was introducing his boyfriend to his dad's.

"Dads, this is my boyfriend Hinata!" (Name) said introducing the most feared men japan to his sweetheart boyfriend "since when phave you been dating?!" Sanzu said incredulously and (name) looked confused "what do you mean? I have told you guys about him loads of times!"

"We thought you were talking about a friend!"

"Oh my god we let you sleep over at his house!"

Hinata was nervous as he stood before the most feared men in japan who were all acting...well like dad's.

"I thought you guys knew!"

"Well clearly we didn't!"

"Well let's just go to the diner! We can talk about this there!"

And that's how poor Shoyo ended up between his boyfriend and one of his dad's, a tired looking platinum blond in all black "so shoyo... What do you do?"

"O-oh! I'm in the volleyball club!"

"Really? Any good?"

"I would like to think so sir!"

"What are your intentions with our son?" Mikey asked seriously and leaned close to the orange haired teen who looked scared but tried to remain confident.

'for (name)!' Hinata thought, deciding to treat this almost like a volleyball game, win against the parents to get (name).

"I want to take him on dates and love him!"

"Define love?"

"Cherish him and hold his hand and make him feel like the only man in the world!"

Bonten could tell when someone was lying, it came with the job and they knew damn well this kid was honest with them "what do you plan on doing with your future?"

"Professional volleyball Sir!"

"Kids?"

"DAD!" (name) cut in with a heavy blush "were fifteen!"

"I wanna know if we're getting any grandkids..." Mikey said simply "dress them in little clothing, give them annoying toys..." Ran chimed in and (name) groaned, knowing his dad's were having fun teasing him.

After the dinner that Hinata tried paying for but Bonten didn't let him "save your cash for dates kid" Mochi said gruffly and Hinata nodded "I'm gonna walk Hinata to practice!" (Name) said sweetly to his dad's, the Bonten babies security guard beside him "alright, be safe" takeomi said lighting a cigarette and watching the two walk back to the school.

"You think they liked me?" Hinata asked his boyfriend and (name) grinned "they loved you!"

kageyama is a groaner. his moans low, nearly a growl as he ruts into you and nuzzles into your neck. he’ll groan in your ear, the deep, guttural noise always making your stomach swirl.

nishinoya & tanaka are moaners, and have no shame about it; very vocal, loud, not seeming to care or having the will to keep themselves quiet.

hinata & yamaguchi are whimperers. their moans are high-pitched, always welcoming you in. hushed, scrambled words leaving their lips as they whine and whine, never getting enough of you.

tsukishima is the silent type—harsh, quick breaths with the most subtle amount of pitch, only audible if his lips were next to your ear. his breath would pick up as he gets closer, hitching in his throat if you did something he liked.

My first post on Tumblr’s really gonna be about Haikyū, huh.

Alright, as someone whose only watched the anime (am currently in the process of purchasing the manga and finishing the series, don’t come for me being a billion years late on this one), I have to say the character growth in this series is insane. I am constantly in awe of shows that are able to make you care about each of the characters, even if they aren’t mains, and which consistently keep their character’s growth in the reader’s mind eye throughout the entirety of the manga/show. Now, that being said, I have only watch the anime— I’ll be back with more to say after the manga. Here’s a quick breakdown of each of the first year lads on Karauno’s arcs through out the show:

Shoyo Hinata: The naturally talented underdog. Hinata in season one works to be able to spike on his own, despite his lack of technique and height. As season two rolls around, Hinata begins yearning to “fly” on his own. He begins trying to hit spikes with his eyes open—he seems out training to get better. In season three, he implements the open eyed spike and combines it with other spiking strategies. In season four, Hinata crashes a personal training camp by a rival coach, and focuses on receiving, after learning that he will need to do more than just spike to fight on his own and continue to stay on the court…

Tobio Kageyama: The Melting Control Tower. Kageyama needs to learn to have empathy for his teammates. In pretty much every season that’s been made so far, Kageyama’s journey has involved working through his control issues, as well as the trauma he endured when he was abandoned on the court in middle school for being too selfish. His arc always amazes me just because I feel the growth is slow, and subtle, much like it would be in real life.

Kei Tsukishima: Beanpole with undiagnosed depression. Tsuki is one of my favorite characters, and his arc is very prevalent in season two, where he must get out of his own head in order to improve as a middle blocker. Everytime I watch Tsuki show an ounce of passion for the game, the hand stands up on my arms. The writers do such an incredible job of making when Tsuki cares impactful, and what he cares about matter. In season three, Tsuki tapes his fingers in order to keep blocking during the Shiritoruzawa game. I think this is a pivotal moment for his character, alongside when he decides to train in season two, and when he jumps to spike during the Inaziki game in season four. Tsuki, next to Shoyo, are in my opinion the two most riveting arcs in the show.

Tadashi Yamaguchi: Little guy with undiagnosed anxiety disorder. Tadashi’s arc is the one I wish was focused on a little bit more in season four- after fearing falling behind the other first years, Tadashi seeks to sharpen his serving skills to become the teams pinch server and to earn some playing time on the court. Though the least followed throughout the anime, tadashi’s story is fleshed out just enough for us to REALLY care about this lad when he’s up to serve.

These breakdowns are purely to serve as storytelling reference for myself. It’s honestly not as detailed as it could be, I’ll update this probably after another rewatch, but essentially, I think Haikyū is made so brilliant not only because of it’s epic characters, but because of it’s pacing of those characters arcs.

Although Haikyuu is really the story of Hinata Shoyo and his journey to becoming the best volleyball player, I am much more drawn to the story of the secondary character Kageyama Tobio.

Hinata's story is the story of an underdog. Though small in stature and lacks technique, he is gifted with speed and agility, will and enthusiasm to fulfill his dream of becoming an ace and defeating his perceived rival, Kageyama.

His character is already perfect right from the start. He is friendly, inquisitive, tenacious, cheerful, and overall the best person to root for. He started as a defeated junior high player and ended as a strong professional player who defeated Kageyama in a professional match (though he mentioned his win/loss ratio against his rival is 1096:1100 including those petty contests that they had in high school).

His personality though, didn't change much. He's the same person who can make friends anywhere and gain the respect and admiration of his opponents in the end, as he was in the beginning.

Kageyama's story is the opposite. He's already one of the best volleyball players in the series right from the start. And every characters, including their opponents acknowledged that. He still seeks to improve himself but his improvements are not highlighted as much as Hinata's. He pretty much can play any position since the beginning, so even if he improves, it's not significant.

But I love his character development. He started as a tyrant King who oppresses and alienates his teammates (notably Kindaichi and Konimi), to the point that they would rather lose than continue playing with him.

His journey is about fixing himself inside. It's not as obvious as Hinata's improving techniques and abilities because we still see him constantly arguing with his teammates, specially Hinata. But there are many small moments that showed his growth, and even other characters acknowledged how he changed.

From imposing his plays to his teammates, to learning to work with other people (even those he don't like), trying his best to communicate (even though he's bad at it), to forming emotional bond with his team, his partnership/rivalry with his frenemy Hinata, and finally, mending his broken relationship with Kindaichi and Kunimi. I love that his story has gone full circle (though I wish it was explored more).
