Wait wait wait I'm sorry but having shit like caramel be about the color of some hard licors and the comedown of getting sober is kinda mind-blowing. You add that to tracks like ydgtp and red line and tears and bloodhound even bleach and efyts and have that be about you fighting yourself and themes like addiction and alcoholism actually adds a whole new layer of interpretations about the songs. I think you can actually contextualize most of the song on the album around this and OH MY GOD. I'm legit staring at the wall trying to formulate something more coherent but he legit broke me. The whole motif of running around in circles trying to chase something you cant find anymore applied to trying to find the person you felt like you were when drinking or getting high was fun and made you feel good but now every time you crash, you crash harder so you try to stay away but you keep relapsing is actually fascinating. And it works? "When I lived between the bars" "it's hard to fake when I'm not faded" "I guess that's why I'm always high" "all my friends are up in mars... another lonely night" the entirety of bloodhound??? Like legit I'm sitting here 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 thank you so much for sending this, will be thinking about it forever.

So... After two years of working on this on and off, it's finished! I had posted pages as I was making them on here before but those posts are no longer on my blog- I actually redid most of the pages with new jokes and panels, and fixed a lot. I'm really proud of how far this has come. :)

why is calum the only answer for who you WOULD ask? luke? poor guy wouldn’t know what’s happening. michael? wouldn’t want to leave his house or dogs. ashton? would give me a spiritual lecture on morals WHILE helping. calum? has a specific shovel ready to go “just in case”

Anon this had me laughing so hard I'm afraid I woke everyone else in the house oaksokasokasokas. I agree, Luke is definitely not an option, he's too much of a golden retriever for that, boy would not be alright with helping you hide a body. Michael, I feel like he could be useful, but I don't think he would be my first instinct, and I think he would have to be close already for it to work, like you can't call him and say come help me, unless you're like really panicked then he would show up and you would just panic together, but you would have to be friends for it to be true, he does live in a huge property so maybe he could help with location. Ashton, I feel like there's a specific situation where he would help no questions asked, and he would HELP, but you'd have to be Calum soaksokasok, or like any of the boys, someone he really loves, because he's a ride-or-die, he said through heaven and high water and he meant it, I do think he would get a bit philosophical, but in a situation where he's my friend, you know, if I'm included in his ride-or-die list, I would call him before I called any of the other, cuz for some reason I feel like he has a plan for this situation, and he's strong as fuck. Calum, I kinda wanna agree he's prepared for the situation just for the hell of it, and he is pretty strong, he drives a big car, that's a plus and I feel like he would ask the least amount of questions, so yeah, I guess Calum is the answer.

Summary: You suffer from the fear of thunder and lightning and Alhaitham comforts you through it.

Warnings: Reader uses they/them pronouns, mentions of thunder and lightning, reader being a bit emotional, Alhaitham (plus Kaveh) potentially acting OOC

As the thunderstorm raged on outside, you were curled up under Alhaitham’s bed. Your hands were clasped tightly against your ears in a futile attempt to lessen the sound of the defeating thunder outside. Tears streamed down your face as you prayed for Alhaitham and Kaveh to arrive home soon.

You had always been terrified of thunder and lightning, but Kaveh and Alhaitham didn’t know this. You had just never really seen it as significant to tell them. Sumeru in general never had many thunderstorms so it was easy to sort of hide it from them.

That was until today, the day a major thunderstorm had hit Sumeru. And during the duration of the thunderstorm all you could do was curl up under Alhaitham’s bed, holding your hands tightly over years ears, and softly cry as you prayed for them to please just come home.

In your terrified state you could not hear the sound of a door opening and footsteps as someone neared Alhaitham’s bed. You did, however, feel someone hold your arms and gently pull you out from under the bed. Your eyes shot open only to find them meet the familiar eyes of Alhaitham. He was on his knees, holding you in his lap. After a few seconds of registering that your prayers had been answered, your soft cries turned into sobs as you buried your head into his chest. You felt the vibration of his chest as he let out a soft hum.

No more than a minute later you felt someone else place a blanket around your shoulder, to which you heard Alhaithtam mutter a thank you to the person before wrapping the blanket around your body. Once the blanket had been wrapped around your body, Alhaitham again addressed the other person, asking in a hushed voice for them to start preparing your favorite drink. You heard the other person whisper, “sure” before you heard their footsteps becoming quieter and quieter. That’s must’ve been Kaveh, you think to yourself. You feel Alhaitham place his head in top of yours.

“I’m sorry for leaving you alone for so long,” He whispers into your hair. All you could do was mumble something incoherent and bury your head deeper into his chest. You soon feel a wave of exhaustion hit your body as you slowly descend into sleep in Alhaitham’s arms.

Alhaitham looks down at your sleeping body, slowly petting your hair. He lets out another hum.

Perhaps I should get them a pair of earmuffs, he thinks to himself.

Well this took a bit. Fun fact, this fanfic was originally based off of my own fear of the dark but I couldn’t get to read naturally so I went w/ fear of lightning and thunder, which I kinda have. More of a fear of storms but still

I hope you're all aware of what's going on in Palestine. If you're not, they lost contact with wifi yesterday night and Israel are bombing hospitals, houses, shelters, and schools, using white phosphorus in real time, which is an internationally-banned weapon.

Palestinians are being annihilated in real time in the dark without access to internet. Israel already cut off water, electricity, food, and most hospitals in Gaza have already shut down. They have a full blown medical crisis, the ministry of education announced that the 2023-24 school year was cancelled because all the students are DEAD.

Last night, the bombing made the sky ORANGE. You could see Gaza on fire from the Egyptian border.

I'm going to reblog resources where you could find more information, and I'm gonna ask you all to do the same. Please. Palestinians are humans just like the rest of us, and the world wants them gone without question.

So last night I decided to take a break from all my projects and just draw what ever I wanted. The result was a finalized design/lore for Petey Piranha and the Goombas. And a not final design/lore for the Thwomps! :D

I also decided to draw Kamek. My last interpretation had him looking too thin, and without a shell. So I changed up his proportions and his staff. I also gave back his iconic pointy hat XD

I also brought back an OC of mine! Its rare that I insert an OC into anything canon.. I changed the Commanders proportions a little and messed with his armor. Nothing major/permeant yet.

Oh yeah I also brought back Kammy! Much to Kamek’s dismay..
