It feels like forever since Shikamaru has seen you. You were out on a mission with your team weeks ago, and you were supposed to arrive today, but when your team arrived without you, Shika’s heart dropped. He hated the idea of you not being with your team, because he knew it could mean one of two things. Either you are missing or you are dead.

When he’s summoned to the Hokage’s office, he’s not really surprised at all. Everyone in town knows how close you two are and if you were dead, he’d want to be one of the first to know.

When Kakashi tells him that you are missing and he wants to send a four man squad out to find you, Shikamaru is the first to jump on the offer. He won’t rest until you are back in the village and safe. He brings with him Ino, Choji and Kiba with Akamaru as well. He figures it’s a good team that he can rely on no matter what.

Shikamaru’s heart is heavy with love and devotion as he and his team scour the lands for you. All he knows is that some other village’s ANBU has kidnapped you and he wants to bring you back. He doesn’t know where you’ve gone or how you are, and this pisses him off.

“Shikamaru, you can’t worry. She’s a good kunoichi and you know she can take care of herself.” Ino tries to reassure him, but he spends every waking hour thinking of you.

Finally after days of searching for you, he finds you hanging out in an old cafe in some small village. He’s shocked to see you’re completely fine, but you do seem a little shaken up.

“You’re okay!” Shikamaru walks over to you, and you jump when you see him.

Tears well up in your eyes as he holds you close. He can feel you shaking in his arms, and he hates how scared you are. He wants to do anything to make you feel better.

“It was terrible, Shika. I thought I was never going to see you again,”

It takes a few days of being back home for you to adjust. You were having nightmares as the thoughts of being held captive haunt you. as i had mentioned in my last part of the shikamaruxreader drama trilogy i had written that last part a few different ways and the one i posted was the only one i completed for various reasons, but i liked how this singular part of one turned out so please enjoy.

also it does say the phrase “other woman” but that doesnt mean the reader is a woman, it was just worked better for the flow rather than “other person”.

Y/N looked at Shikamaru as he laid there, eyes closed, cigarette hanging out of his mouth slightly. The after sex look was one that always worked well on him. The sheen of sweat on his slightly scared skin, his hair was down and formed a halo around his head, the way his arm was slung around you lazily.

“Quit staring.” He mumbled around the cigarette, smoke escaping his mouth.

“Can’t help it, this is when I’ve always thought you looked best.” They murmured, stealing the cigarette from his mouth.

Shikamaru watched as you took a drag, pausing for a moment before blowing the smoke out.

“Now who’s staring?” They teased, passing his cigarette back to him.

“Hmm?” Shikamaru asked, setting back down on the pillows.

Esta leyenda declaro que todos los pertenecientes al clan de la rama principal portarán la dichosa marca en el área del pecho, estomago y brazos, mientras que los de ramas secundarias estaría en cualquier parte del cuerpo. El clan _Apellido_ desapareció después de su participación en la Tercera Guerra Shinobi, donde todos los integrantes del clan participaron sin objeción alguna. Todos parecían quedar un tanto decepcionados al oír la declaración del la chica. El _Apellido_ menor soltó una carcajada en cuanto todos suspiraron en derrota, al oír tal respuesta de la chica.

Después de eso el día de los hermanos fue normal, pues en cuanto llegaron a su casa cenaron, aquella cena que la chica se había lucido en preparar para ella y sus hermanos para aquella noche. Después se fueron a dormir, bueno solo los dos más jóvenes, pues el mayor tenía que prepararse para su misión de mañana por lo cual dejaría a los dos solos como en varias ocasiones antes. Al día siguiente la chica se levantó arreglándose para salir e ir a casa de Shikamaru.

Como todos los fines de semana, con el fin de pasar el tiempo con sus padres, ya que eran lo más cercano a padres que tenía, por lo cual siempre le agradaba ir, ya que Yoshino (su madre) siempre tenía cosas que enseñarle con respecto a cocina entre otras cosas, así que salió de la casa junto a Haru, quien no estaba caminando con ella a casa de Shikamaru, si no a otro lado. Camino aquel largo y tranquilo camino que siempre recorría para llegar a su casa, al llegar pudo escuchar a unos cuantos metros los gritos de la mujer a gran volumen, regañando por lo visto al padre de Shikamaru. Por alguna razón siempre que estaba llegando y siempre que les visitaban, le escuchaba gritar por motivos desconocidos.

Estaba llegando a tiempo para evitar que Shikamaru muriese de manera prematura si sus sospechas eran correctas de que aun seguía durmiendo, por lo cual al llegar a la puerta toco la puerta hasta ser recibida por Yoshino con una sonrisa, luego dejándole pasar y así iniciar con ella una agradable platica como todos los fines de semana que les visitabas. Mientras platicaban, ella de manera amable se ofreció ayudándole con algunas cosas. Suspiro—Si tan solo Shikamaru fuera igual de trabajador que tu—dijo a modo de queja y un tanto decepcionada de su hijo en ese sentido. No paso mucho tiempo para que esta recordara que su hijo aun seguía dormido y sin hacer nada, por lo cual se retiró diciendo que regresaba en unos minutos dejándole en la sala.

No tenia que pensar demasiado para saber a donde había ido pues en menos de un parpadeo le podía escuchar obligando a que él perezoso chico se levantara. Una suave risa se escapo de sus labios, no podía evitar dejar de pensar que era un tanto divertido todo eso.

Lying down together after a long day. Sometimes hugging, sometimes lying on the porch heads next to each other and watching the clouds. Talking or just mindless sentences to add to the calm mood.

If you cook something he will eat it. Even if you can’t cook, this boy will eat anything you put in front of him without complaining. Okay he definitely thinks oh what a drag but ya’know he loves you lol.

You gotta be one resilient person and make him open up. It would probably start as a common interaction between you two. Maybe he stops by a shop you work at or you frequent the same place. Something to put you in the situation to see each other enough.

You also got to be the person to help him open up to his trauma because he just refuses and suffers alone. Don’t have to be his psychiatrist but you have to make sure he deals with it.

I think he would also be attracted to a somewhat positive person. He will go towards you and seek you out like a moth to a flame lol. He will also avoid you when he feels to close too. You have to find him and be a little persistent.

Honestly though, he wants this? He wants someone he can come home to and just welcome him back. He has been lonely for so long, it gives him a reason to come home. Lots of love.

Refuses to tell you certain things in wholes. Will tell you summaries or certain things. Same with Shikamaru he doesn’t want to “taint” you. Does open up a bit though, once you express your desire for it.

Likes just lying in bed with you and talking about things. Deep conversations while just beside each other or in each others arms. Falling asleep like that then eating dinner at a ridiculously late hour. His body clock sucks aha.

Reading together in silence. If you are into books or work with books then he loves you. Like doesn’t have to be icha icha, he just likes getting caught in the fantasy of it all. Discussions about storylines and plots. He doesn’t talk much in these conversations but he loves listening and agreeing along.

Home dates are his favourite dates. But will eat out every now and again while trying to dodge his friends in order to spend time with you. Ultimately though sometimes the best dates are when you two run into Guy or Kurenai and/or Asuma. Even Yamato can serve as a fun time. They all like telling you about Kakashis “true self” but also talking him up at the same time. Kakashi hates it (but appreciates them lol).

He’s not really much of a reader in his spare time but when he notices you reading a lot he gets intrigued by what you are reading. Then when you aren’t home he opens your books to have a little look.

He was going to simply read parts of the book when he noticed your little scribbles in the margins. They were your thoughts on different things. Characters for novels, analysing lines and just general little notes about each chapter. It was cute and made him smile.

Then he picked up another book and another. He wasn’t so much absorbed in reading the books themselves but the parts you had highlighted and the the scribbles in the margins.

It made him happy to learn about your thoughts and find out a little addition to your hobby (reading) and it gives him ideas of what books to buy for you now.

Kakashi Hatake

Kakashi also has quite the reading habit. Before he discovered icha icha he read a variety of things. One day he sees your book on the bedside table and it made him curious what sort of reading materials you were into.

He was surprised to see the book covered in highlighted excerpts and little notes at the bottom of the page. He had never seen a book so throughly analysed like that before.

He sat down on the bed and read the whole book from start to finish. Then he went back and probably examined all the highlighted passages and notes. It made him want to read the book again.

Goes out and buys you new pens and highlighters and leaves them out for you to find. He also (in secret) goes and reads all the books you have highlighted and written notes in.
