Sobre Innovation Fitness Club 
Pretendeu-se um espaço central com bons acessos destinado ao público, com estacionamentos, situado no centro da cidade do Funchal. Este local deverá estar capacitado a receber cerca de 500 a 1000 pessoas mês, para a avaliação física e prescrição do exercício.  Descrição sumária da ideia É amplamente reconhecido que a prática de atividade física e o exercício, podem trazer grandes benefícios à saúde. Entretanto, para se extrair o máximo resultado destas práticas é necessário que seja realizada uma avaliação física prévia, para que toda a atividade posterior seja planeada de uma forma responsável. A avaliação será feita por meio de instrumentos que façam a leitura da cinesiologia, (ciência que estuda o movimento), tendo em conta ações lentas ou rápidas com muitas ligações inter-relacionais dos sistemas fisiológicos, será imprescindível criar condições para que um indivíduo faça deslocamentos naturais do seu dia-a-dia, atividade profissional ou mesmo de lazer transformando a complexidade, o volume ou intensidade do gesto-motor. A análise serve para saber a sua situação atual e que percurso deverá seguir para progredir ou potencializar o seu rendimento, ou sua saúde. A ideia será criar um laboratório de avaliação avançado onde teria todas as ferramentas de avaliação para dar informações precisas com bases científicas aos nossos clientes, sejam eles sedentários ou mesmo de alto rendimento; dissipar a situação atual e decidir de uma forma consciente que caminho deve-se seguir para que o objetivo seja sempre melhorar a sua qualidade de vida.

food diary 17th of december
Day off
Workout: 1hr of sh’bam
15 min. abs workout
500 ml of water
Breakfast:
Bananabread muffin
Banana
Tea
Lunch:
Leftover pork belly with noodles asian style
Dinner:
White rice with corn and broccoli in soy sauce and a curry tomato potato sauce
Snacks:
Leftover sushi rice with baked spinach
tea
1 cup of smoothie (1 handful of spinach, 1/4 papaya, Turkish yoghurt, 1/4th  nashi pear, 1 ripe banana)

Today I shocked myself. I’m really starting to enjoy exercise - I was actually excited to log on and see what workout I had scheduled. I never thought I’d see the day. I’ve spent so many years actively avoiding it that to actually want to workout is a totally foreign feeling to me.
I’ve been loosely following the HASfit 30 days beginner program. Loosely meaning that for some of their scheduled low impact cardio videos I’ve subbed in things like swim workouts instead. I absolutely love their strength training workouts and really appreciate the tips on form that Coach Kosak provides throughout. Squats hurt for sure but my legs are already looking better!
This week I’m excited to have 2 different workout classes scheduled with friends as well. On Thursday evening I’m going to Aquafit with C1 - we were meant to go last week but the class was cancelled so we just went swimming instead. Fingers crossed this weeks goes ahead as planned. Then on Sunday I’m going to a class called Sh’Bam with C2. Apparently it’s a dance/aerobics class that’s perfect for beginners. I love me some Zumba so I’m hoping to enjoy Sh’Bam just as much!
So this weeks workout schedule looks like this:
Monday: 15 minute Beginner Weight Training + 15 minute Yoga
Tuesday: 12 Minute Abs + Arms + 20 minutes Mobility and Stretching
Wednesday: Off day (but will be swimming with my wee boy!)
Thursday: Aqua Fit and if I feel up to it 20 minute HASfit Strength training
Friday: Low Impact Cardio
Saturday: Off day
Sunday: Sh’Bam

Wow, it's been a while since I posted! As you can probably guess, I have been slacking with my exercising and healthy eating (much like I've been slacking with this Instagram). Yesterday I started to get back on track and I'm really trying my best to stay with it. I've started the Les Mills On Demand Strengthen and Tone 30 minute program and so far, so good! Even though today was technically a rest day, I decided to do a quick Sh'Bam because I couldn't sit still. We also took a trip to a local Amish country store which has a petting zoo! Yesterday ~
Breakfast: hot muesli with soy milk and tea
Lunch: this cauliflower rice burrito bowl
Dinner: this fried rice
Snacks: this carrot cake bite, dried mango... And some chocolate and some Pringles...

I keep collapsing with my snacks in the evening. I was trying not to keep junk in the house, but I had to go to the shops mid afternoon and I just let my cravings get the better of me. But I'm proud that for the most part my food is healthy! Good meals, lots of veggies, I have to be happy with making those decisions.
I put my car in for rego check and service yesterday and walked Tia home, then I did a Les Mills Sh'Bam workout, then I walked back out to collect my car. I think exercise was pretty on track.

January 6 2017
Today’s a day off in Finland, so gym was very quiet and also we’re going to go see my grandparents today so I was there early. Very quiet, but not as creepily quiet as New Years. 
Did my 10K run today, and it went really well. I didn’t get too winded, I didn’t really feel tired, I just kept going with two drink breaks (at about 4K and 7K). Listened to Great Comet again – without drink breaks I could do this in the time between the beginning of The Opera to the end of Preparations but as it is I get a little bit into Balaga – and it’s just really good music to listen to while you run because it’s energetic and also engrossing.
Time: 56 minutes. My phone did not go “NEW RECORD WELL DONE YOU” so maybe it’s not my best time, but I’m pretty sure it is. It’s damn good anyhow. Average speed on 10.7, which I haven’t had in AGES. Slowly getting back up there. I can do this.
