27. Craziest place they had sex?

Since they are three guys, there are a lot of places they have had sex (the studio, the laundry room in their apartment basement pffppfpfpfpf), but I think I'd split it, cause there are varying levels of craziness.

They spend a lot of time together, even before becoming their power throuple, so it's really gradual, but as soon as they cleared the air and officially started dating, they had a nice little date in a sushi steak club. (I won't tell you where, cause that would be spoilers, but it's probably not where you expect it to be pfpffppf)

36. Who's the more protective?

Ngl, I think they are all very protective, but in different types. If we take it very literal and it's about a situation, then I think Bojan would probably be the first to throw fists if someone said something stupid to either Jan or Nace (especially since he probably wouldn't get taken seriously, cause he do be tiny), but Nace would immediately try to be a mediator (and make absolutely sarcastic and cunty remarks dressed in nice words), while Jan just stares unnervingly without blinking.

But in general, I think Jan might be the most protective one out of the three, cause he manages their socials most of the time and reads all the stuff ppl say about them. And as we know, there are a lot of things being said that are just unnecessarily mean and hurtful even if they are meant as a "joke", especially towards Bojan. So I think he would definitely would try to keep that from both, no need to throw that onto someone who clearly should not be bombarded with hate.

That doesn't mean Nace is less protective tho, since he also doesn't like seeing Bojan (or Jan) sad,cause lets face it, anxious and sad puppy is no fun. But he would definitely deal differently with it than Jan would. So maybe the point of them all being very protective of each other in different ways is still very applicable here, they just have different ways to express it!

hey! welcome to the hermitcraft fandom! we're a cool place to hang out i think personally. uh, be warned that i'm often bad at recs because i have the memory of a squirrel, so if there isn't someone on here that isn't because we aren't friends/aren't cool mutuals/i don't like them, it's because i am naming the first people i think of, which is not always people in a sensible order. also i tried to stick to hermitcraft guys more than traffic or empires guys here because i did not realize you said third/last/double life when i first read this ask WHOOPS.

also i saw the other list i was tagged in by @griancraft, i am EXTREMELY flattered, that list is here, and i have tried not to put any names that are repeats from there. i am vouching in general for a lot of the people on there though.

ALSO also before we get into the names: GO FIND YOUR OWN FRIENDS! one of the ways i do this personally is that i just... browse through the hermitcraft tag occasionally and stick a bunch of stuff in my queue and if i see a person crop up a lot i follow them because clearly i like what they're doing! sometimes also when i was a smaller blog if someone showed up in my notes a lot i'd also show up! uh, just in general, find other 'smaller' guys too! i have, as i said, tried to stick to people i thought you weren't already going to be following, but let it be known that i have no sense of scale anymore so i don't know who is considered "big" or not on here the scale may be WILDLY out of proportion. FIND YOUR OWN PEOPLE it's very fun to find people yes yes.

@dmwrites and/or @simplydm (her main) does very cool writing. i am a big fan of all of her ficlets. if you are following me for the writing let me direct you that way to ALSO get a lot of good ficlets.

I’m taking today, when rain is pattering insistently against my window though it is still far from spring, to write some stories meant for a new section in the stat-pages called ‘extra content’. I want there to be short stories to unlock as you progress in the main story, ones that bear weight but aren’t imperative to the main narrative, you know? Here are the options listed, but to make your vote, please head to the forum, or comment on this post, and I will try to keep a tally.

i might not be able to ocpost in form of a new drawing today (fucking damnit) but.,,,, have this more than a year old drawing of the oc lore mc,, (his name is yaku, or okazaki yaku if you wanna use the full name). pls hold this little critter as i try to give some tiny bit of oc lore info about this guy and the main antagonist below the cut

Yaku is more of a confused and anxious guy at the start as he literally knows nothing (he just died and got to afterlife, let him have a moment to adapt). Which then gradually turns into being more serious and (mostly) collected in specific situations, while also being a big overthinker that is nervous about anything sudden happening. He is a 20 year old man that slowly forms a family bond with like. everyone at his now "forever" job (Except for a few). That same job being fucking hand-picked out of the billions of people out there to become one of the warriors at the top company of what would be "Hell" to take on many different tasks and requests, as well as the protection of the world he now belongs to. Though at the same job, Yaku is considered as 𝘵𝘩𝘦 weakest employee/warrior, literally weaker than the fighter that is a child (All because of a certain lore mechanic for those same warriors or fighters but it is,,, too much to explain in one post). All the employees were supposed to be blessed by the Gods as to truly be worth of the role that grants great responsibility for the billion of souls living in the same world they are in, and Yaku did get his blessing, Blessing of Thunder.

Moving a bit further from that, Yaku has very big attachment issues in a way that he will get emotionally attached to someone a bit toooo hard if he truly enjoys their company (literally what happened with him and all of his coworkers he loves them all so much). The problem is that one of those of coworkers is quite literally the main antagonist, Kenix or Yi Dal if you prefer his real name (has lore mechanics attached to him based off one of the Deadly Seven Sins). Yea Kenix's and Yaku's relationship is fucking complicated, especially since Kenix is Yaku's uncle (i don't have the time to explain the confusing family tree okay)

Kenix has a brain rot going on, in the quite literal sense (He is cursed and with each day, he loses his sanity and detaches from himself more and more to the point of not being able to have full control over his actions if he is just. a tad bit more insane than usual), so he treats Yaku very badly in the first story arc. He wants to feel guilt over his actions, he desperately wants to be able to feel empathy for his nephew - but with every passing day, he is forgetting about his morals as he is losing 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. Despite all that, Yaku is already way too heavily attached to Kenix as he is his relative (some heavy found family shit is going on), so he tries to see the best in him, give Kenix a new chance each time to prove that he can get better. But that is not happening any time soon, Yaku,,,,

anyways ending the ocpost at this. I am sorry if this is a cringe premise for the lore but i swear. i poured my heart into this for more than two years and it means so so SO much to me it is my most comfort thing ever, it will make sense later on with more posts like these [screaming and crying] (and if you wanna,,, you can send asks about specific oc lore parts you want to know or just the ocs in general,,, just saying)

How would Scarab react if the Lich possessed Prismo? >:)

depends on when, really!!

if we're talking pre-canon, it's definitely more of an "oh whatever" scenario. he doesn't interact w/ prismo much, if at all, so i doubt he would notice if prismo was possessed. if the lich killed prismo, the uncaring behavior would continue, but there would also be some satisfaction as it would be easier to claim the wishmaster role. he might play the part of "its such a shame that we lost a beloved cosmic entity 😔" but that's basically it

if we're talking post-canon then there's a very very deep sense of fear. i mean, hes trapped in the same place as the being that very nearly killed him and got away with it, plus he's controlling the entity that basically saved him and was the only one to notice he was possessed.

hes terrified and worried about prismo, but there's very little he can do in terms of stopping the lich himself. if the lich killed prismo, that fear just triples. it would confuse the wishmaster protection system, not knowing whether to flag it as murder or a willing stepping out of position.

basically imagine it as an incredibly fucked up alien isolation situation LMAO

As for your question:

I'm not too sure how to feel about the headcanon of Six being autistic, and I don't believe that she's autistic, but a part of me feels like the autistic Six headcanon is a tad bit overused.

Everyone is entitled to their own headcanons, I just find this one being used a bit too often. I remember seeing a post about how Six may have some aversion to sound (which ties into her being autistic) and they used the scene from the 2017 comics when the Ferryman and Guests point at Six and she clutches her pain and grits her teeth. They say that there's a lot of sound going on in that scene, which is why Six curls down in distress, but I disagree because there aren't any visual clues that there's a lot of noise, like comics would draw lines to visually show loud sound, but there isn't any.

And speaking of that scene, from my old post called "Six suffers from 2 types of trauma, not just 1" (where most of what I said in it honestly still holds up 2 years later) I personally believe that one of Six's biggest fears is being kidnapped. I counted that throughout the entire LN series, Six got kidnapped a total of at least 5 times (6 if the 2017 comics are canon. I even made a meme about it some time ago).

First being when she got taken to the Nest (given that she hides in places where the inhabitants of the house wouldn't be able to find her or get, and she wanted to escape, I'm pretty sure she wasn't there at will).

Second time was by the Hunter, third was by the Bullies, fourth time by Thin Man, fifth time by the Ferryman (if the 2017 comics are canon) and sixth time by Roger (if the 2017 comics are not canon, then it's the fifth time instead. I initially didn't count that instance as a kidnapping, but when @haemosexuality counted it as Six being kidnapped, I counted it too).

I'm sure you've heard of the belief that Six suffers from Survivor's Guilt and PTSD, I firmly believe it too, especially when Six shows practically all of the textbook symptoms. I'm not sure if Six does have amnesia or not, but given that she was kidnapped 4 times by the time she encounters the Ferryman, I believe that she clutches her head, grits her teeth and curls down because she can already see that she's about to be kidnapped again, something that she's already heavily traumatised from.

I don't think that that scene has anything to do with sound. In LN1, when you have to push a cart over a pipe that has steam leaking out if it, if you get Six close enough to the steam (but not close enough for it to kill her), she'll cover her ears, same with when Mono walks on the keys of the piano after he and Six stomp it through the floor. But I don't think this is specifically because of autism, I'm pretty sure it's simply because of loud or awful sounds. Like if someone plays an instrument and they play it terribly, you'd want to stop listening to it, and I don't think anyone really likes listening to loud noise like steam leaking out of a pipe.

I had an aversion to loud sounds when I was a kid, such as fireworks, dogs barking and balloons popping. I got used to fireworks when I was around 9 years old (bit ironic since Six is 9), I don't know when I got over the loudness of dog barks, but it was somewhere in my teens (and our dog, who was a greyhound, definitely helped (greyhounds very rarely bark)), I can handle balloons popping better now, but I still prefer to avoid balloons. I'm not autistic, and not liking loud or certain sounds isn't an autism-exclusive trait.

I don't understand fully how autism works, I just know about getting upset over certain sounds, patterns or norms being changed suddenly, and difficulties with certain social interactions, but I don't think you need to be autistic to have some these traits. And I don't think Six really has any of these traits either.

TL;DR: I don't think Six has autism but people are free to headcanon her as being autistic, I just think it, and the headcanon of her being neurodivergent (not sure if it's the same thing or not), are a bit overused :/ (please don't kill me).

my theory on jax's parents

i've been sitting on this one for a long while and finally got the push to write this up. i want to write about this in the future, but there's bits here that have got to wait until cube corp releases, so... i'm just going to talk about it while i'm here.

anyway. as we all know, jax seems to be raised by arthur, and neither of them ever mention his parents.

so where. the fuck. are they.

spoiler alert: just between you and me, i think they're dead. not that it's confirmed or anything...

so... let's begin with a preword. the jax in my canon is 22, since unlike ace and the player, he doesn't have a canon-implied age. (this did not stop me from making fern 21.)

this makes him just slightly older than the meteorite strike on crater town, which happened 20 years ago. it's important to note this, because he needs to be alive for his parents to die in the aftermath of the meteorite strike.

let's just change tracks for a bit.

arthur is training jax to be the next champion. that's quite obvious from the story, he says it outright, there isn't any question about that. but i think that originally, arthur wanted his own child to succeed him. it's also something to think about if you consider that he stepped down from the champion's seat before the events of the game, which prompts me to think that he wanted a successor before he stepped down, but he couldn't train jax in time bc jax was still too young.

so let's go with that: arthur intended for his child to succeed him as the next champion after he steps down. thus: arthur's child, and one of jax's parents, would likely be a ferociously strong trainer.

i'd like to think that they met someone while they were training or journeying, fell in love, eventually decided to marry them, and have a child. why didn't they decide to become champion? this is just a hc, but considering elias is Still there and the league hasn't found a replacement and arabella is working there because her dad doesn't make money... yeah, i think the league is kinda understaffed. hell, i make fern struggle with his champion duties, but even if arthur is a better fit for the role, being the champion's child means they would be able to see how harsh the role is on arthur. and maybe they don't really want to be the champion just yet, when arthur still can do his job well.

and they're still young, after all. they want to have a bit of fun in their life, journey around as a trainer, raise their kid with lots of care, then maybe go get that champion role once arthur's done his term.

so now, little jax is two years old. the meteorite has just been shattered over valley city, and the residents have been transported back to help clean up the town. volunteers and volunteer pokemon from nearby cities, like dresco town, are called to help with the restoration efforts.

and jax's parents are part of those volunteers, naturally. they're both pokemon trainers, after all.

and here's where it starts going to shit.

remember that two pokemon came down to earth with the meteor? jirachi was sealed away after the residents realised its power, but another pokemon landed a little to the northeast.

and deoxys is powerful. pksp red, one of the strongest trainers, if not the strongest in the series, is almost powerless against deoxys when he first battles it. it takes him a bit of a bond with a rogue mewtwo and several tough battles, some difficult enough to shatter his mentality, to defeat it, and even then, it's an uphill struggle for him.

that's the pokemon that jax's parents find: a ridiculously strong pokemon from outer space that nobody's seen or recorded before. remember, it immediately fights you if you talk to it, so i suppose... they fight. and if they can see the utter destruction that could come out of deoxys's power, there's no way they're letting that pokemon get to the town, where unarmed people are working on clearing the rubble. so they fight, and they fight, but deoxys is strong, and clearly not even two people are a good enough fight against it, and soon their pokemon are worn out and deoxys's attacks are injuring the pair themselves.

they put together a plan. one holds off the strange pokemon from outer space — for the sake of my canon, this is the stronger one, arthur's daughter — and the other runs back to the town to alert the guardian of borrius, who is overseeing the restoration efforts. if anyone can beat this pokemon, it's the legendary aros.

and so jax's father flies back to crater town. he'd been persuaded to go, being more heavily injured by the fight, and desperately searches for aros, explains the situation, and immediately brings him to the crater where they found deoxys.

but it's too late by then.

they find jax's mother, barely conscious and mortally wounded, being fiercely protected by her pokemon who are only barely standing. aros thanks her, and with their combined efforts, barely manage to defeat deoxys and seal it in sleep. jax's father returns to his wife's side, only for her to sigh her last breaths before they can treat her wounds.

aros notices that jax's father's wounds can still be treated, but though aros hurries him back to town... perhaps the loss of his wife weighs too deeply on him, and he doesn't make it.

and jax, still only two years old, is left in the care of his grandfather.

his parents are called heroes — they fought so that crater town would not suffer a second disaster in quick succession, and that's why jax in my canon is so set on being a hero. his admiration for aros is also partly from seeing how he handled the incident, making sure that he didn't take the credit for holding off deoxys and ensuring that people wouldn't forget that jax's parents died in order to keep the town safe.

and, also, aros is basically the local superhero. he's cool as hell. no wonder he's kinda jax's idol.

anyway. i really want to write more about this concept, and there's a scene where i want jax to meet aros and for aros to tell him, properly, about his parents. that'll be the first time that i've ever written jax crying in canonverse, because hearing aros, his idol, apologise to him for not being able to save his parents and recount that they genuinely were heroes in his eyes is a lot to process. (it's also really funny considering that jax hasn't cried in front of fern, but he has cried in front of fern's dad.)

as a way of finishing this arc of jax's life, i really also want to suggest that after fern captures jirachi, jax tags along with him to fight deoxys.

and this fight — this is jax's fight. fern can tell that this jax is different from seeing him stare down deoxys across the crater. there's something twisted about the fact that jax is now facing it with his own partner, twenty years later.

jax, heightened by raw emotion, seems to fall back into his more reckless, daring tactics. he plays fern's hyper-offensive role, actually, and fern plays jax's support, making sure that jax doesn't run himself ragged, following up after his strikes, covering when they're in trouble. it's not like they made a name for themselves as an unstoppable duo for nothing.

the conclusion of this arc is jax's capture of deoxys, after a grueling battle that whittles at his strength and mental state. in a way, earning deoxys's respect, being able to capture it in a ball, and being able to say that he finally, finally defeated the pokemon that killed his parents, is a sort of closure that he probably didn't know he needed.

i think a lot of the stuff you've made is already inherently beautiful and meaningful. you put time and effort (however small or large) into every line you've ever drawn and every word you've ever written. what you make is a product of millions of years of evolution and decades of personal experiences that have all culminated into that one moment where you sat down and decided to create. every little piece of time and work put into willing something into existence is so minimal and meaningless in the scale of the universe and because of that it is so so so large and sacred. i know that you're likely looking for a specific kind of beauty and a specific kind of meaning that you don't feel like you've achieved through the things you've already made. but i also know that there are dozens or hundreds or thousands of people out there that have been looking for their specific kind of beauty and their specific kind of meaning that found it through what you've made. the act of creation is beautiful in and of itself, regardless of the source or product. im glad to have seen your creations through this silly little app. hope you're having a good day!

genuinely, i wasn't looking for compliments or anything like that, it wasn't a vent post. i was just expressing a bit of my frustration with the work i've been doing/have done. you did definitely nail it right on the head about looking for something though ^^;

i think most artists struggle with searching for a specific idea that they don't feel they've reached with their own work, or that they see in others. it's just part of the artistic process i think, which is both what makes it satisfying and what can be frustrating. double sided coins and all that — progression is great, but it does make the stagnation sting a little lol.

the fact that you sent this does mean a lot, seriously. it's exactly why i always make annoyingly long tag commentary paragraphs on art reblogs; because i want to point out every detail of every piece of art that i can. it's my way of communicating my appreciation for other artists and their hard work. (and hey, i like reading tags, i hope they do too.)

it's easy to get lost in things like comparisons without analyzing what it is you can do as an artist to improve and bring yourself closer to whatever it is you're looking for. but just because i may not be satisfied with it doesn't mean that invalidates the meaning or beauty someone else might have found in my art. i don't like invalidating other people's feelings, especially when it comes to stuff like media or music or generally harmless things that make them happy. at the end of the day i share my art here because i want people to enjoy it with me, and also to share in the brainrot. it's fun that way.

My mom just sent a message to the family group chat suggesting that my siblings download the 'For the Strength of Youth' magazine on their Gospel Library app and talked about how much the youth magazines helped her testimony growing up and like, cool. Fine. Don't know why the 'sending random spiritual thoughts in the gc' thing started out of nowhere when it hadn't been a thing for a decade but this is just another one of those, and you're ofc allowed to talk about things that are significant in your life.

I don't think sending the 'What I Did When Someone Close to Me Challenged My Faith' article right afterwards was strictly necessary though 🙃
