I shouldn't entertain this but..if buggy was gregnant.. wouldn't it be like a kinder egg with two sides or a nesting doll situation? After 9 months he just splits in two and like "get out of here" and pulls out whatever clown spawn he had inside.

space photography is a weird case artistically b/c it's explicitly not intended to convey what the naked human eye could perceive but a heavily processed visualisation of data. so kind of more akin to like an anatomical diagram that has all the organs laid out neatly so you can see what the hell you're doing. but then space photography is also a weird case scientifically b/c it has aesthetic dimensions that account for its popular reception & also guide the data processing. like the choice of colours, saturation, &c are intended to produce a pleasing picture, & the picture is put to rhetorical ends: usually a kind of generic humanist delight with the advancement of (gov't) space exploration. so in that sense the space photograph is specifically most like the anatomy in eg a vesalius plate: an artistic piece, used to defend a certain metaphysics wrt 'man's place in nature' &c. not exactly an untrue image but certainly an artificial one (as in: the product of artifice; of an artistic process; not intended to provide a simple 1:1 visual translation of nature but to interpret & advance an argument about it)

A complete guide to having everything you want in life.
- This is a reminder for me because I feel like I've been overconsuming and really want to get back to the roots. Hope this helps you as well in creating the life of your dreams.
🌷 We'll go in steps, this is the order I like to follow, of course you can switch it up to whatever fits you.
1. Your self-concept (I AM):
Your narrative of yourself creates your entire reality. It's as simple as that. What story do you have of yourself? Is it one of a victim or that of a winner? To change your life for the better, your story, your self-concept needs to change. YOU are the operant power, YOU get to decide your story. Make this work for you. Decide all what you wish to BE AND DECLARE THAT YOU ARE IT. "I AM". Your words and imagination are your biggest tools. You are who you assume yourself to be. If you constantly affirm for an SP but your story of yourself says that you have a difficult time with love, guess what? The affirming is mindless. Do it with intention. Where intention goes, energy flows. No matter what it is, enter the state of I AM. I AM LOVE, I AM ABUNDANCE, I AM PEACE so on and so forth. Be it. Become it. Become one with I AM. Be fulfilled knowing that the power is in you, the kingdom of heaven is in you.
2. Know what you desire (or don't):
You can either have a list of your desires, vague or detailed or just know what you wish to feel. It's up to you. Most people like having a list so they know what to focus on. Knowing what you want can also help you stay strong in your faith which brings me to my next point.
3. Stay strong in your faith:
Stop fucking wavering. You are blessed to know about the law, don't you see how lucky you are? You have the knowledge and power to create your dream life. Don't fucking let it go because of some minor disruption or inconvenience. You need to persist. Not in any particular affirmation but in the belief of the law. In the belief that you are the creator. That you can get anything and everything that you want. Be hardcore. Be relentless till it becomes a part of you. Till you are 110% confident in your power. Step into the state of IAm-ness. Some people call it the neutral spot. Here you let go of limiting beliefs. You completely trust yourself and your power. This is your base, your equilibrium.
4. Learn to meditate, focus and visualise:
Neville Goddard talks about how you need to create in your mind's eye the situation you wish to happen in your reality. Give it to yourself in the 4D because anything and everything is possible in the 4D and the 3D is simply a mirror of the 4D. But remember, NG wrote and spoke about this when he had already reached a point where this was easy and natural for him. As a beginner, practice your ability to imagine. Meditate often to calm your objective mind so you can create peacefully. Be as vivid as possible in your 4D, your reality. You can do absolutely anything in it so why half-ass it? You're the painter and the canvas is all yours to do whatever.
5. Assume it's yours, live in the end:
Once you desire something, it's already yours. Get that into your head. You don't have to "try to bring it to you / create it". It's already yours, in a different timeline. That's why you can even desire it, some version of you has it, you just need to tune into that. You want something? You already have it. It's all yours. Don't check your 3D if you have it. Assume it's yours. It's always been yours to keep. Just accept it's yours already. Act like you have it. Look at it from a place of fulfillment not lack. You already have it in your 4D and like I said, the 3D is just a mirror.
6. Give thanks:
You have your desire the minute you think of it. What does a blessed person do? They give thanks! Be grateful, it's been scientifically proven that consistent feelings of gratitude make you a happier person. Give thanks because you already have your desires.
7. Don't overconsume:
This is a very important one. Like everything else you learn, the law too needs to be implemented. Reading about it is not enough. Implement it in your own life, stop doubting if you know enough. You can make the law work for you. You think God wonders if what he's doing is the right technique? No. Just start doing what feels right. There is no wrong way to manifest. If you've got your basic concepts right, just go for it. You're the one in control, you don't need a 3rd person to hold your hand.
♡ Ending notes:
I want to end by saying that manifesting is something we were born to do. Don't make it harder than it needs to be. Tap into your intuition, connect with your higher self and the path will light up for you. Your subconscious mind is anxiously waiting for you to tap into its creative powers. It's waiting to serve you. Say the word and it is done. Don't overthink it. You are absolutely limitless. The only thing standing between you and living your dream life is you so get out of your own way and go live life to the fullest. You deserve it.
>> Like and reblog to share the message and help more people! Thanks for reading till the end. Hope you enjoyed it. Go create. 🩷

Colours for beauty
Every cell in our body needs energy from light, and colour is light made visible.
Different colours are simply energy vibrating at different speeds. At lower vibrations we get warmer colours, such as red and orange, while higher vibrations produce cooler colours like blue.
When you focus on a specific colour it can influence your own energy vibrations. That's why colour has such a powerful effect on your spiritual and emotional state. It can have a powerful healing influence, too.
Explore the colours associated with beauty and bring them into your life in whatever way feels right to you - wear them, surround yourself with them, or do a colour visualisation exercise.
Use the power of colour psychology for a confidence boost and a flash of that inner glow of beauty.
Golden yellow
This warm, happy colour lifts your feelings of optimism and self-esteem to give you an aura that is assured and outgoing - the most attractive of qualities.
Scarlet
Red gives us a burst of positive energy, which may be the reason wearing red makes us feel more physically attractive - it's been proven by scientific research.
Violet
This vibrant purple stimulates the crown chakra, the home of your inner radiance. It has the highest vibration of any visible colour and symbolises spirituality and purification.

Here's a super quick mock-up I made of a visualisation regarding the BRCU Timelines.
The default black lines represent a linear Timeline from 1865 to 2033, the earliest and latest dates portrayed in the BRCU.
The coloured "1865" and "2033" at either end of each Timeline serves to indicate which Timeline I'm referring to as in accordance with the key in my pinned post.
The coloured dotted lines with directional arrows represent Blame's time travel in Blame the Hero.
I've been meaning to make a long overdue proper time travel analysis post (of the scientific concept in general, not just in the context of the BRCU) for a while, and hopefully this will be a good starting point for now.

💦 What is your relationship to the water? & to the waters that inhabit nearly your entire being? & our mother earth?
Before I even new the fires had started I was ill & felt compelled to water fast in the bush for 3 days alone. This was a first time for me. I sat with the water everyday & communed. “We are all droplets to one large ocean We are water in motion We are water beings Water serpents Pulsing with the primal life force of the mother Isn’t it beautiful how Water is so impressionable? In a cosmic sense we are vibration In a scientific sense we are frequency So to understand this is to then understand our ability to move the. Emotion As emotion is energy in motion Allow the grief to move through the body like the flowing of a river Allow the joys to rise like an ocean tide When the waters aren’t flowing energy becomes stuck. No wonder when somebody is angry nearby it can jiggle us in our waters We feel it So no wonder when somebody is sad Our waters feel it Because our waters are communicating in resonances with one another Therefor through our thoughts, feelings, spoken word & prayer can structure our waters however we wish. Did you know that just by prayer alone love & gratitude can change the molecular structure? Did you know just by praying to the water can purify it? Did you know that our awareness doesn’t know the difference between our subconscious mind and our conscious mind? So with our senses we can dream our waters into our desired resonance by visualisation. Just as we are droplets in the ocean so to shall we ripple out to those around us. I invite you to visualise, sense & feel yourself & your waters in deep gratitude for the health of your body, full of vitality, enriched in authentic expression, creative, bountiful, supported & loved by yourself & all those around you. Make time for this everyday. I also invite you to picture the waters or visits your fav spot spring, stream, ocean & go there sit with it & share these feelings & visions with the water Water is you #Waterislife Water is love Love is you Life is you Love is the the water that supports our livelihood Water gives life You give yourself life What are you invoking?”

Aphantasia can be a gift to philosophers and critics like me (Mette Leonard Høeg, Psyche, March 20 2023)
“Bringing this scene to my mind, I don’t ‘see’ anything.
I have aphantasia, the neurological condition of being unable to visualise imagery, also described as the absence of the ‘mind’s eye’.
Still, I know that those visual elements were there; they’re stored in my mind as knowledge and concepts; and I have particular and strong emotional responses to the thought of the light and colours.
Until very recently, I had always assumed that my experience of reality was typical, and that being able to see only things that are actually there – present and visible in the external surroundings – was normal.
But discovering that I have aphantasia brought to my awareness differences in perception and self-conception between me and others that I’d always registered on some level, and felt disturbed by, but had never consciously thought about.
The further I’ve delved into research on this neurological anomaly, the more extensive its explanatory reach has proven.
It has been like finding the master key to my life and personality, and has significantly deepened my understanding of my psychology, my philosophical views, and my aesthetic and literary preferences. (…)
The philosopher Derek Parfit was aphantasic, and described his memories as propositional and stored in sentences.
I would rather describe my imagination and memories as conceptual and emotional – consisting of thoughts, feelings and sensations.
I cannot visualise my childhood home but, with a combination of conceptual and spatial memory, I can describe it – and, if I do, I notice I’ll start moving my hands and body as if I were in the house. I can feel it, almost physically, when I think of it.
Zeman also supplied me with a report on the first systematic study of the neuropsychological and neural signatures of aphantasia, which confirms many of the hypotheses formed on the basis of self-reporting and anecdotal evidence.
It connects aphantasia to introversion and autistic spectrum features; to difficulty with recognition, including face-recognition; to impoverished autobiographical memory and less event detail in general memory; to difficulty with atemporal and future-directed imagination, including difficulties with projecting oneself into mentally constructed scenes and the future; to elevated levels of IQ; and to mathematical and scientific occupations. (…)
The aphantasic absence of the mind’s eye may account for a particular kind of ‘visual vulnerability’.
This would, conversely, explain my exaggerated negative and depressive response to ugly surroundings – since aphants don’t have the option of compensating for any external lack of beauty with exciting internal visuals.
The aphantasia also explains, at least in part, why, in contrast with most people I meet, I find it hard and unnatural to tell my life story.
I don’t really think of my past, and when asked about it, I find it difficult to recall and recount.
Nor have I ever had specific ideas or visions for my future – only abstract thoughts of wishing to be happy, intellectually stimulated, healthy, with good people in my life, and access to natural beauty.
The flipside of this disconnection from the past and the future is seemingly an increased ability to be present. (…)
Aphantasia could certainly explain why Parfit’s theory resonates so strongly with me – as well as my sympathy for Eastern contemplative and monist theories such as Buddhism that advocate self-abandonment, detachment and renunciation.
While many people find such non-essential ideas of personhood and existence disturbing and estranging, to me they’re not only obviously plausible, but also highly relatable – and easy to practise.
When I introspect, I literally see nothing – and on that basis, it is likely more difficult to create and uphold an idea of a centred, essential and continuous self.”

TTNBD BLOG PART SIX
This blog covers chapters seven and eight of the story.
CHAPTER SEVEN – SUMMONING CIRCLES
Black Butler was one of my first fandoms. Not my first anime, by any means, but one of the first series of any kind that I consumed fan content for. I was new to the world of fanfiction back then, certainly not writing it yet. But some of the first fanfiction I read was Sebastian/Ciel.
The first fandom I wrote for was Supernatural. If you look at my works catalogue on AO3, you’ll see it’s the one I’ve written for the most as well. While it wasn’t my first fandom, I consider it my first in that it was the space in which I began to explore and hone my fanfiction writing abilities and specialties. I consider it my origin fandom, in a way. That series, its worldbuilding (or lack thereof) and its tropes make up the background from which I come.
So, when it comes to writing things about rituals and demons and other such things, I’m well-suited to the task. As I said in the last blog, I have an aversion to such things in reality, but in fiction, I’m old hat. I could say I researched ritualistic magic or the occult and took great pains to make it seem accurate to what may have been attempted in real life. But that would be a lie. When it comes to the ritual Lizzy and Sybil perform to summon Sebastian, I really just stitched together bits and pieces from stories I’ve read in the past, seen on TV or intuited from my own hypothetical actions were I in such a situation.
I have several 1899/1900 calendar pages on my wall in my writing space of the months in which the story takes place. It allows me to clearly and easily visualise the timeline of events and not lose track of them, all for the sake of maintaining proper continuity. I like to include references to actual events when appropriate. When Sybil mentions that the night of January 8th, 1900, is the first quarter moon, that’s true! I looked up the lunar charts for January 1900 and picked the soonest day when the moon was doing something definite so I could use it for the ritual. It’s amazing that the information about the phases of the moon from over a hundred years ago is available to us!
Sybil describes the balance of nature, how the sun and moon will be in the sky at the same time, and that will create harmony within the heavens. Lizzy refers to it as “a sort of homeostasis”. Homeostasis is a scientific term used in biology to describe the process by which a living organism maintains stability within itself while adjusting to varying external conditions. The term wasn’t coined until 1926 (I looked it up) but it’s a cool word and I wanted Lizzy to say something smart, because what’s the point of her going to medical school if she hasn’t become a bit of a nerd?
Also, it gives Sybil an excuse to mentally swoon. That, and the bit with the jam. I was trying to keep up the romantic tension and not let it get lost in the plot.
And then DRAT! They are interrupted by Simeon! He’s been out all night- doing what, we just don’t know. I won’t say it here but trust that in the final arc of the story, we’ll get more explanation about Simeon’s activities. Sybil is lying to her dad, thinking he wouldn’t approve of her frankly insane plan. And she’s right- he wouldn’t, but not for the reasons she thinks.
And now, it’s time for the BURNING BRIDES case! This is the case covered in the third episode of the second season of the Black Butler anime, entitled “Wench Butler”. A couple of readers have asked me how I came up with the case, and it reminded me how few people have watched the second season, or at least how few people remember it. I also have not watched it in many, many years, but I’ve taken so many pieces of it for this story.
In the episode, Ciel is assigned a new case by the Queen. There have been a few suspicious deaths- young women, all recently married, have been dying via spontaneous combustion- a truly horrific way to die, if you ask me. In her letter, the Queen mentions her “Spider”, and Ciel is intrigued, not knowing who this other investigator might be (it’s Alois).
Ciel and Sebastian eventually figure out that the victims all had their portraits taken by a pair of photographers- a married couple, the Turners. Margaret Turner, the wife, always wanted a passionate, romantic marriage, but hated her husband and her life and resented these women for their happiness and youth. So, she uses phosphorous powder, normally ignited to make the flash necessary for photography at the time to immolate her victims. When caught, she states that there was “a man with golden eyes” (Claude) who told her that the commission of these crimes would bring her happiness and that he would come to take her away from her sad life. She then commits suicide via the same method she used for the murders.
I kept most of this and just reworked some of the timing and conversations. There was a scene in the episode where Sebastian and Ciel run into Grell Sutcliff- I wanted so BADLY to have Grell appear again, I love her so much, but it was messing with the timing and tension, and it was just a whole extra scene to write, and I wanted to keep the story going. Also, trying to cram in every single character cameo I can think of would muddy the waters too much in my opinion. So, I left it out.
But I wanted to include the case itself. I always really liked the concept of it. And I specialise in re-working canon material. I’ve never been a huge AU person (i.e. high school AU, modern AU, coffee shop AU etc.)- I don’t write them (I think I wrote a Steve/Bucky coffee shop AU ONCE, for a request), and I don’t read them. Everything I write is within the canon of the series I’m writing for; I find that space much more rewarding to play in because there are rules you must stick to but still so many possibilities for what you can achieve and finding that balance is super satisfying. Things like soulmate AUs and stuff are my favourite though because again, they can exist within the boundaries of canon but make things so much more exciting in their own way.
Anyway, enough of my tangents. Back to the story. Ciel and Sebastian are investigating, being cute at a crime scene (what else is new) and they’re being watched. Ciel is not as good at being subtle as he thinks he is, so Claude was able to pick up his scent when Ciel was following him and Alois before- and they’ve decided to return the favour. But they’re also not as subtle as they think they are- cue a rooftop chase.
I like to think that Ciel is really fast. Like, I know Sebastian is fast- we see it all the time. But something about Ciel being slightly smaller makes me think that he might be able to move that much more quickly, though Sebastian will probably never admit it. I can’t wait for the later chapters of the story where Ciel begins to hone his skills. He hasn’t had a reason to properly learn how to move and fight- he and Sebastian have been living in peacetime, so to speak, since the end of TTEOE. But running fast doesn’t require a lot of practise, so Ciel catches Claude and Alois pretty easily.
Good God, Ciel remarked. Is that how I looked all those times you had to carry me?
No. You were far more distinguished.
Why do I get the impression you’re only saying that to spare my pride?
Sebastian looked facetiously wounded. You know I am incapable of telling a lie.
Ciel scoffed. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Just popping that in there to tell you once again how much I love writing banter for these two. It feels so correct, it practically writes itself, really.
Tumblr media
I couldn’t decide whose POV this conversation should happen from, so I switched throughout. I try to be careful when I employ this technique- it can quickly make things a little soupy, for lack of a better term. But I wanted this exchange to have observations from both Alois and Claude. Alois is trying to be brave while internally pissing his pants, and Claude is falling into a quick and disgusting obsession with Ciel, which is also taken directly from season two of the anime.
I couldn’t resist having Ciel comment on Claude’s name. A Faustian demon having the last name Faustus is the most basic-bitch bullshit, and I would expect nothing less from Alois Trancy.
I loved writing Alois and Ciel’s exchange. They’re both such spitfires, stubborn and bitchy and uncooperative. The funniest part of the conversation to me is the fact that Sebastian and Claude are standing no more than six feet away, glaring daggers at each other and ready to throw down at a moment’s notice. I just imagine those wavy red lines radiating off of them like you see in an anime when a character is frustrated or angry.
If it wasn’t clear already, Claude is straight up lying when he says that Sebastian murdered Alois’s brother. This brings up another topic I wanted to discuss, which is the thing demons are always saying about how they don’t lie. I always just assumed that statement itself is a lie, and that’s the joke, right- lying when you say you don’t lie? Obviously if a demon’s master gives them an order to answer a question honestly, they would have to, but outside of orders, I think demons can just bullshit all they want. Especially demons like Claude, who are already disloyal to their masters and stretching the limits of their contract’s rules to the absolute limit In order to complete their own goals.
Claude telling Alois that Sebastian killed his brother is also straight out of the anime- he lies to Alois there too, so I don’t feel weird about doing it in this fic. Demons are creatures of treachery, after all, and will ultimately do what’s good for themselves in the end. The only question is, why would Claude lay they blame on Sebastian? What could he stand to gain? Questions, questions, questions…
As I said before, for a lot of this summoning ritual, I’m writing off the top of my head. The thing about salt is true, though- salt is a purifier/preservative, so it’s often considered to be symbolically protective. Pouring salt lines in doorways and windowsills will supposedly protect a household, as no evil can pass through the barrier. That’s a thing in Supernatural, but Supernatural didn’t make it up, is what I’m saying.
The way I imagine this ritual works is like: Lizzy focuses on Sebastian. Sybil reaches into her brain with her witchy powers, connects to the spirit network and just pulls really hard on the threads of the universe until Sebastian appears. That’s all pretty vague but I don’t really think the specific mechanics of the ritual matter all that much. It’s magic, don’t worry about it.
The rest of this chapter was one of the first things I wrote for this fic. Not the very first- The scene in chapter one with Lizzy at Ciel’s grave was first written in 2019 (!!), but the first draft of this chunk of chapter seven is hand-written (I handwrite a lot of my fic) and dated as May 2022. I hadn’t yet figured out what the circumstances were for Ciel and Sebastian even being in London, or why they’d been talking to Claude, but I knew I wanted them to be making out when Sebastian got yoinked. It’s just very funny to me. Someone commented that it’s good Sybil and Lizzy didn’t wait much longer to start the ritual, or Sebastian would have been buck-ass naked when he showed up, and that gave me a good laugh. I hadn’t thought of that.
I love Ciel making Sebastian jealous on purpose. They both like annoying each other, it’s an Olympic sport for them, but we all know that Ciel secretly (or not so secretly) loves how possessive Sebastian is. He loves being needed and wanted and owned and *screams* I love writing it. Makes my brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
It was important to me that Sebastian show up in Sybil’s attic looking like an angry wet cat, only not wet. Frazzled maybe. He just got dissolved and pulled through space and then reassembled in a strange environment. You’d be frazzled too. I feel like I succeeded with my sketch.
Tumblr media
Now that Ciel is a demon, it’s fun to have Sebastian be the one in danger because there’s actually more Ciel can do to save him- though his inability to really fight or anything is going to be a problem that needs rectifying (we’ll get there). He is, however, perfectly capable of smashing through a window and scaring the shit out of Lizzy and Sybil.
I knew from the very beginning that I HAD to have the moment Lizzy finding out Ciel is still alive be a cliffhanger at the end of a chapter. Nothing else would have done it justice. She was gagged. Gooped. Face? Cracked. Wig? Snatched.
CHAPTER EIGHT – A SOUL NO LONGER LIVING
Another Simeon flashback! I love writing these. I’m very fond of Simeon, much more than I thought I would be, considering he was basically only created to be a vehicle for exposition and plot continuance. We also get more insight into Ada, who I also love. I’m actually chipping away at a spin-off one-shot about their first few days together after making their contract it’s literally just porn but that’s beside the point. It’s quite a different dynamic than any other demon/master relationships that are seen in canon- but if there are many demons running around in the world, it would stand to reason that their contracts and relationships would be as diverse as they are.
In truth, I have ideas/intentions for a few spin-off one-shots of varying lengths for this universe. Don’t worry, I’m going to focus on finishing the main story first! But I’ve never been this excited to expand on a fic before. It’s a neat feeling, and I hope my readers will follow me along on the journey, even though I’m really just happy to write these ideas down for myself!
Ciel bursting into the room, dropping a “surprise, bitch” on Lizzy and then immediately ignoring her in favour of Sebastian is just very Him. I wanted this whole scene to be from Lizzy’s POV because again, I love that outsider shit, and she’s the one with the most new and overwhelming thoughts at this moment. As if it wasn’t enough that Ciel is alive, she suddenly sees him and Sebastian kissing- it’s a wonder her head didn’t explode! But that reveal was less surprising to her. Ciel and Sebastian were always… weirdly close, so she can’t claim to be too shocked.
He approached her, and she flinched. She never would have before- she would never have thought to be afraid of him- he would never have struck her. Now, though, she wasn’t so sure. There was some power, some darkness radiating from him that made the basest part of her shy away.
When I wrote this, I had fully forgotten the scene early in the anime when Ciel does totally reel back to slap Lizzy and Sebastian has to stop him. It’s a small thing, but I was kicking myself about it when I realised my mistake- nobody’s perfect, I guess.
“The eyepatch you wore,” Lizzy said, and then felt quite stupid. “It wasn’t from an injury, then.” Tears began to burn in her eyes, threatening to spill over. “That was a lie as well.”
Here, at this moment, we get Lizzy’s emotional hang-up for the rest of the arc- the fact that Ciel lied to her. For the record, I didn’t even expect her to care this much. She just would not let it go, even when I tried to write her letting it go. Sometimes characters and stories develop a mind of their own, and you have to follow their lead until it comes to its natural conclusion.
I know a lot of readers were annoyed by Lizzy’s unwillingness to just get with the program already and believe me- I was also annoyed! But I also felt that it was more accurate to her character, and I wasn’t going to sacrifice that for the sake of making readers a little less annoyed. Sometimes characters are gonna do stuff you don’t agree with. That can be interesting. And sometimes, the consequences of their stupidity or stubbornness can be all the more satisfying as a result!
Thankfully, before things could devolve into even more arguing, Simeon shows up and the boys quickly bounce. Sybil telling Simeon that it was a bird that broke the window is another pseudo-reference to the fact that Ciel, to me, is a phoenix. He’s the big bird lol.
Alois is of course enchanted by the idea of immortality- if anyone would be looking for a way to weasel out of having to give up their soul, it would be him. Claude, of course, has no intention of ever doing something like that. He’s anti-love and anti-fun in general, to be honest. What a buzzkill.
I’m not going to go too into detail about Hannah’s revelation about this weapon, as there are things about it that have yet to be revealed in the fic itself. I’ll leave that for later commentary blogs. Rest assured, this weapon is bad news.
In a comment on this chapter, someone pointed out that at the moment Alois and Claude are discussing mating bonds and such, Ciel and Sebastian are back at their hotel having emotional, life-affirming floor sex. The juxtaposition of those two images made me laugh. If this was a show, you could have a hard cut between Claude being like “Romance is dumb” BOOM Ciel and Sebastian fucking. It’s hilarious to me.
Anyway, this scene was so self-indulgent to me. Sometimes you just gotta write stupid mushy shit, okay? They’re so in love with each other *cries*
“How can you say such things?” he looked at Ciel mournfully. “How can it be that I’ve failed you so, that you believe these lies about yourself?” He reached up and pushed matted, wet strands of hair away from Ciel’s eyes. “You have proven time and time again to be my saviour and my solace. You are and always will be the very reason for my existence- the purpose for which I live and breathe- whether you are of any use to me or not.”
What’s that meme that’s like “Do you like soul mate AUs or do you just struggle with your self-worth and are obsessed with the idea that someone could love you no matter what”? It’s me. I have exposed myself.
I think Ciel likes pain, like, in a sex way- at some point, all the shit he went through must have crossed wires in his brain- but in this scene, it was more about his need to feel something, anything, to remind him that he and Sebastian were both alive, and real, and safe and together. And it affected him so deeply that his blue flames came back, even for a second!
I didn’t intend for Ciel’s powers to be a part of the story, but I realised early on that Ciel needed some kind of internal conflict to give him a character arc as well as the external conflict of solving murders etc. I’m excited to get into it properly in the final arc of the story.
Sebastian, a demon, reciting scripture will never not be amusing to me.
“And they shall take of the blood and strike it upon the two side posts and on the upper doorposts of the houses… for I will pass through the land of Egypt in the night, and I will smite all the firstborn, both man and beast.”
The passage he is quoting is from the Old Testament book of Exodus, paraphrasing verses from the twelfth chapter. It’s the command God gave to Moses for the Hebrew people, which led to what became the first Passover. The Hebrew people were in slavery in Egypt, and God sent the ten plagues of Egypt, and the final plague was that God passed over the land of Egypt, and every firstborn human and animal died, all in one night. This is what made Pharoah finally break down and let the Hebrews go.
The Hebrew people themselves were protected from the plague because they sacrificed a lamb and used its blood to mark their doors so God would know they were his people and not harm them when he passed over. Thus, the term “Passover”.
Sebastian, using his blood to mark the walls and keep them safe, found it a cheeky, fitting reference. And yet again, he STOLE something.
Cambion is indeed a term for a being who is half-demon, half-human. The term originates in European mythology and was originally used interchangeably with the word ‘changeling’, a mythological creature that replaced a human child, but later came to mean a demon-human hybrid. The most popular use of the term is the creature from Dungeons & Dragons, a humanoid creature with bat-like wings and horns and a devil’s tail.
Obviously, Sybil doesn’t have any of those physical attributes, but her demon heritage is what makes her capable of seeing the dead, as well as her intuitiveness and her ability to successfully perform rituals like the one that summoned Sebastian despite the fact that she’d never attempted anything like it before in her life. Witches in general are just humans with an affinity for the spiritual, but Sybil has heightened abilities that can only be attributed to her non-human genetics.
I ended this chapter on another sort-of cliffhanger- I hate writing normal endings to scenes, it always feels awkward, so I always end up doing this haha. I hope it doesn’t get too annoying or boring. Like right now, for instance, me not knowing how to end this blog post.
Okay, bye, see you all next time!

What’s ur take on Gojo’s cock in general?
Like I know it’s lengthy from reading the Infidelity smut scenes, but how long is it precisely~~~??? 👀
(I think you mentioned it before but then I forgot in either one of ur other asks or in the story. 🤔)
How thiccc is it? 2 1/2 inches? 2 3/4 inches? Veins~~~~? 😏
I’m obviously asking this bc of the NSFW Pre-workout Gojo figure that I showed you. 😌
(Ngl that cock, on the figure, looks like it could be 6.5 inches. 🫣🫠🤫)
You know I’d actually sent a screenshot of your dick-related questions to a friend with the caption: ‘Mokona asking real questions’ lmao
Oh lord Gojo’s dick – the amount of discussions that transpired on the subject over my time in this fandom…
First of all, girl that dick on the figurine looks about 10-11 inches if I’m honest. I’ll explain why. A very closed friend of mine (it wasn’t me I promise) was feeling horny and purchased a 9 inch dildo, not yet having the full comprehension what each inch would feel like inside of her. Well the dildo came (pun not intended) and the damn thing was so huge that only its head fit inside her and hurt and burned like a bitch (I promise I’m talking about a friend’s experience here). And this friend’s vagina isn’t especially tight either. She once had a dick so big it hurt her at first and bruised her – but even that dick was about 7-8 inches. The dick on the figurine I believe is about 10-11 inches based on its proportion to his body, if you look at that full body shot where half his appendage is protruding as big as his 3rd leg, not to mention the extreme girth which also adds to its monstrous size.
Now lemme make something clear: as much as I fictionally glorify the big dick – irl it hurts and Gojo’s does especially. It’s just impossible to take him in without proper prep. Often it takes him all of his self-control to not push into you in one go, since although feeling your warm wetness envelop him is a feeling he’s addicted to and always craving – it’s just not worth seeing you in pain over it. (Note that we’re not talking about Infidelity Gojo here, who might want to hurt his lover in this way at times)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Following on from that, the lube thing becomes an essential and a habit: there’s a bottle in the glove compartment of your car, there’s a little bottle even in your purse (at his insistence) which you toss from one purse to another together with your other essentials such as your wallet and car keys whenever you change purses, Satoru’s fingernails are always trimmed to be able to prep you no matter the setting or place, and here and there someone will notice Gojo’s tongue absentmindedly playing inside his mouth – that strong tongue which has learned to draw even Egyptian hieroglyphs in your pussy since licking you was so necessary for him to be able to fit himself in. There are all of these minute, almost invisible to other people details which have become a part of your and his routine.
Btw over on my discord server we used to have scientifically important discussions about his size as well, with the general consensus resting on 9-10 inches with an impressive length, the utmost beauty of his organ (because everything about Gojo Satoru is immaculate – that’s why he’s Gojo Satoru), and less girthiness than Toji, who just has the fattest dick you’ve ever seen even with his lesser inches. I’d taken some pics during those discussions for visualisation

“And because I am happy, and dance and sing, they think they have done me no injury.” [Chimney Sweeper]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
William Blake, a wonderfully exciting poet from the Romantic era, was born in London in 1757 into a working-class family with strong nonconformist religious beliefs. Blakes believe and symbols are continously intervowen in his art. His poetic genius is trying to liberate the instinctual self and to defeat reason. Blake's ethics formulates the originator of morality and religion through the process of liberation. Overcoming phenomenal objectness or fragmentation for the sake of a symbiotic unity of humanity within themselves and peaceful harmony of man with the world.
For every soul-wanderer, reading Blake is a spiritual gift and looking at his visualised art, a dive into cosmic seas of collective psychology. Blake is breaking the lopsided emphasis of idealistic works. In all his gatherings of beauty, there is always a shadow of existential crisis. Even in the following work "Songs of Innocence", the Fall off Paradise is already happening. The violation of nature has begotten: The water is no longer clean and clear. The eternal division of humanity from the divine cosmos as a complex interplay of an individual search for the Holy Grail, is the human idiosyncrasy. The scepticism against rationalism and science is also playing a key role in Blake's work, as he underlines that only “The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.” [The Marriage of Heaven and Hell] and that "Art is the tree of life. Science is the tree of death."
Tumblr media
Blake condemned the scientific trio of Isaac Newton, John Locke and Francis Bacon as sterile and materialistic. In this painting, (the idea of) Newton- sits on an algae covered rock, making calculations with a compass, like Urizen in Ancient of Days. He might be at the bottom of the sea, or perhaps in a black hole. He might be as Faust, signed a contract with the devil a few moments ago and then lose oneself in a cave, studying minerals and stones.
“The imagination is not a state: it is the human existence itself.”
The work "Songs of Innocence (and Experience)" is a double set of illustrated poems showing “the Two Contrary States of the Human Soul”, the child-like and pure versus the angry and disillusioned (cf. Jung's psychology and the meanings of symbols and archetypes- The shadow of the child is the senex, vice versa). Here we also have dualistic concepts of questioning the being and the problem of theodicy: How could God tolerate the "evil" and why are bad things happening at all? If God is "the loving father" why are the humans deprived of their original goodness? Why is our world still torn between ferociousness of the few and the humble benign of the resisting ones? Through the Fall of Man the unity between man and animal was broken (Gen. 3, 17 - 19), so the seperation is a result of the "evil", which was subsequently brought into the world. An anthropological interpretation could be, that the "Fall of Man" or the "Original Sin" are narratives that memorize our cognitive faculty. First we had to be aware of ourselves and our environment, than we were able to distinguish between different kind of (living) beings. The consciousness aroused questions about ethics, examining motives, motivations and shaping a guideline of virtues (Golden Rule). But throughout the history of generating more insight- of metaphysical speculation and cosmogonic questioning of the creation of the world, it seems difficult to tell what we can really know and what are just guesses. In modern times (but beginning with Xenophanes) the imago of God is excoriated as anthropomorphic. But this statement shall not purport, that our human imagination is nothing less than an illusion and so less than nothing. As Blake wisely interlinks our assumptions with the search for the first principle:
“He who sees the Infinite in all things sees God. He who sees the Ratio only sees himself only. Therefore God becomes as we are, that we may be as he is.”
Poets are the mediator dei, healing the earthly-borns from the abscence of spiritual healing. The humanity got more distrustful torwords ideals and the invisible world, but on the contrary, an individual, who always lacked deep philosophical wondering, is affected and enraptured easily through manipulative groups, who are just imitating religious sentiments, but without soul's salvation. The search of the humankind is an eternal journey to it's cosmic roots, a balancing act between boon and bane, an entanglement of wisdom and folly: Theia Mania.
“In the universe there are things that are known and things that are unknown, and in between there are doors.”
There are some theories and perspectives dealing with the similarity between holiness and madness, found in all world religions. Mania can be the consequence of confrontation with the absolute and infinite, which is overwhelming the human reason and through overstraining, turning them mad. Mystic mania is one of my favourite motifs, it is the breath of prophecy and the ecstasy of poetizing the world of illusions, as a bridge to eternal ideas. It is the idea of intensive love (to God and being), a radical self-denial for unification, a call for liberation. Paradox pairs in Blakes works are continuously expanded,
"Without contraries is no progression. Attraction and repulsion, reason and energy, love and hate, are necessary to human existence."
Blake sets contrasts or he is breaking boundaries, either way he is creating and this energy of creating out of imagination, is considered by Blake as the "only life". ______________________________________________________________ Inspired by Blakes bucolic poetry and hints of a collapsing worlds, I was incited to write a small tribute with the most common motifs of the poetry in "Songs of Innocence".
The Active Evil and Passive Good by Elvin Karda
Dwelling in the arcadia Pure daisies and cle the joyful life Piping songs of pleasant glee A child watches the piper on a cload "Pipe a song about a lamb- Let those tones into the air A reminiscence of a golden land Hidden treasures in ancient sand!" The piper plucks a hollow reed fire tunes his inner song and he stains the water clear walking the rippling stream along In the evening dew The joy is giving way to tears When green shoots turn violet- blue Error is created and eternal what is true
The child's weeping as meek as lamb But vanishes and crumbles into dust As melody clothes the tone in written words Mind and body out of touch Energy is life and like a fountain overflows Active evil is better than told with bad intent passive good

ya wanna know something pretty interesting? i was doing a bit of research on DID (and just mental things in general because i was on a hyperfixation spree) and something i found was that fictives and introjects aren’t all that common. so all yall are pretty unique :)
(this was not intended to sound fakeclaim-y even though i’m sure it does T_T)
Hi, dw this doesn't sound fakeclaimy at all!
However I will say that this information is probably incorrect, although there isn't (from what I know) any scientific studies, having been in the DID community for a while and knowing a lot of systems (both irl and offline) introjects are fairly common.
This is purely from observation so I could very easily be wrong, but fictive heavy systems are a thing. Combined with polyfragmentaion (complex system structures and high alter counts) this sometimes means that systems have hundreds of fictives.
There's a few community theories such as autism/ADHD impacting this, the idea that introjects are easier for the brain to visualise and create, the idea of not all introjects or alters being 'fully formed' and identity being fluid.
I hope this doesn't sound condensending, I think I know where you've seen this info and the source is credible, and as I say there's no scientifically documented proof of these calims, just community stuff that we've seen.

What hypnosis can and cannot do
On the one hand, I am inclined to reiterate that I don't have all the answers because I'm just a human being in her thirties who only has limited experience. On the other hand, I am a woman on the internet, I probably need to prove that I know what the fuck I'm talking about. So, with that in mind: I am a hypnotherapist who majored in psychology and social sciences, and I teach kinksters about hypnosis and consent.
What hypnosis can do
People often ask me what hypnosis can be used for. They know little about it, they've seen some unlikely things in the media, and they wonder how to separate facts from fiction. The first thing I like to explain is how the American hypnotherapist Dave Elman devoted his life to teaching hypnosis to doctors and dentists. Because hypnosis is a really effective anaesthetic for small procedures, Elman developed a foolproof method that any person who is not even a hypnotist could use to hypnotise a person. It's a sad story really, because despite all of his efforts his method never really caught on, despite the fact that his son continued his legacy and is still teaching hypnosis in the USA today. Medical professionals rarely use hypnosis as an anaesthetic, despite its scientifically proven efficacy. I've still taught some people self-hypnosis to help people relax and feel less pain at the dentist or the tattoo parlor.
But hypnosis can do so much more than that, it's not just about helping you relax. It's an incredible tool that can help you instantly connect ideas and feelings together, which can be used to learn or unlearn habits and behaviours, to overcome fears and to make other positive changes in your life. Hypnosis can for example be a great help for smoking cessation, something that people often struggle with for a long time. Typically, only one hypnotherapy session is needed to help a client to never touch cigarettes again. The same can be done for nail-biting or stress eating, but such things may require a few more in-depth sessions to figure out what is causing this behaviour to continue against the client's wishes and to help resolve internal conflict that may be holding the client back. A hypnotherapist who is also a qualified psychologist can help their clients overcome trauma, unlearn old coping mechanisms that are no longer useful, and learn new ways to deal with their emotions and the challenges life throws at us instead.
But here's where shit gets murky
Psychologists and hypnotherapists work with a person's mind, and we can't see the mind, we can't dissect it or make a map of it. Psychiatry and neurology has taught us many things about the effects of brain chemicals and how the brain works, but it remains difficult to predict what kind of effects a drug designed to help against psychoses or epileptic attacks will have on a patient. We may be able to scan and study the brain, but that doesn't mean we know how the human mind works. Psychologists and hypnotherapists only have models and metaphors to work with. And in my not so humble opinion, hypnotists often seem to forget that the tools we work with are just that: metaphors. The unconscious or subconscious mind? It's a metaphor that helps us understand that a person is not aware of everything that happens in their own mind, it is not a separate entity with a mind of its own. Metaphors are powerful tools when it comes to understanding the world around us. Something as simple as anthropomorphising an object we interact with has a big impact on our behaviour, for example. And another metaphor hypnotherapists often use is regression.
When you're in a hypnotic trance you can use your imagination to vividly visualise metaphors and memories, just as vividly as when you're dreaming. And it can be a helpful therapeutic experience to use this ability to vividly reimagine a moment from our past, to examine our feelings about this moment, to understand why this moment had so much impact on us. We can learn something about what is bothering us, and what we need to overcome our problems. This is why even past life regression and guided meditation journeys can be valuable, cathartic experiences: because they are an exercise in letting our imagination create a metaphor for our struggles, which in turn helps us accept ourselves and be happier. So if you thought I was going to mock people who believe in past lives, you're wrong. The problem is not with people who use hypnotic trance for more spiritual experiences, it is more nuanced.
How human memory works
Regression, like the word hypnosis itself and many other technical terms in the field of hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming, is a misnomer. We don't really return to a moment in our past, we imagine it. The way memories are stored in the brain is not like a computer or a filing cabinet at all, our memories are flawed and biased by our own perceptions and feelings. Every time we recall a memory it changes a little, as if we're not actually remembering the original moment in our life, but the last time we recalled this memory instead. Yet many stories about hypnosis are about retrieving and reliving memories, even though it is simply not humanly possible to use hypnosis to "uncover what truly happened back then", let alone to remember things from our early childhood, or from the womb, or a past life.
The big problem with the dream-like experiences we can have in a hypnotic trance is that they can feel super real, and when we are hypnotised we are extra suggestible. If the person helping you regress to this "memory" tells you with the authority of a therapist this is a real memory it is incredibly believable. What is worse, research by the FBI has shown that creating a false memory is alarmingly easy with certain interrogation techniques. The frequency with which people in relationships gaslight each other also shows that no hypnosis is required to fuck with people's memories. So my point here is: it's good to be incredibly critical of hypnotists who claim to help people remember the past more clearly. Though forensic hypnosis exists, it has never been proven to actually provide accurate information. It is not an effective way to use hypnosis, and it doesn't help with the credibility of hypnosis in general.
Why I as a hypnotherapist curse so much
There are many things that fuck with the credibility of hypnosis in general. Not just people trying to use it in ways that simply don't work, like I just mentioned, but also for example fun stage shows that use hypnosis. It is real hypnosis that a stage hypnotist uses to make people come up on stage and pretend they are a chicken, just to name the most obvious example. And that example doesn't help with our academic image, does it? But you know what really, really fucks with our credibility? "Hypnotists" who never actually hypnotise people.
Two things are at play here. One is the trend where self-help gurus are only out to sell their seminars and make money, instead of actually teaching people how to help themselves. This trend motivates hypnotists to try to sell hypnosis recordings, to the point where it might start to resemble a multi-level marketing scheme, which results in people who sell their services as hypnosis but really they make you listen to a hypnotic script that they didn't even write or adjust to your situation.
The other thing is, and this is probably the reason why Dave Elman's method never caught on (although I'm pretty sure aggressive marketing of anaesthetic drugs also played a role), that in order to hypnotise a person the hypnotist must make an effort to understand how that person thinks. Many famous hypnotists and experts in neurolinguistic programming have developed techniques and models that can help a hypnotist understand how people think. And those techniques and models are often detailed in books they try to push on people because they just really want to make money, which brings us back to my previous point. Many of the techniques in those books may not actually be bullshit. The problem is, again, with the people who treat metaphors as truth, who stick to the script and neglect the fact that therapy is about making a connection with another human being, helping them deal with the struggles of life.
Fucking mesmerism
And this the part where I rail at the charlatans and misguided souls who really ruin the reputation of hypnosis. It started way back when Franz Mesmer thought he had invented energy healing. Although Mesmer's claims about how that works were debunked in the late 1800s, many people still practice mesmerism today. Yes, you read that correctly. The thing with mesmerism is that because the technique is a precursor to hypnosis, it brings the client into a relaxed and suggestible trance, which greatly increases the placebo effect. I would like to point out that I am actually a believer with some knowledge about energy healing. Having studied reiki and some pagan forms of energy manipulation, my not so humble opinion about mesmerism is that it is not only bullshit, it can also be harmful.
Practitioners of mesmerism will often half-heartedly use techniques taken from hypnosis and from energy healing to help their clients become more open and accepting, and then encourage the client to relive the memories that are still bothering them from the past, which has a high risk of retraumatising them. Mesmerists will silently watch their clients resolve the images unfolding in their mind by themselves, without offering the client any new coping mechanisms. Perhaps some people who practice mesmerism are really out to help other people, but for fuck's sake, if you really wanted to help people, do your fucking research and don't place your faith in shit that's been debunked over a hundred years ago! Go with reiki, that is well-documented, well-taught stuff! And there are awesome energy healing traditions from other corners of the world as well, you could learn those! Or here's a radical idea, you could learn how real hypnosis works! I know it's a chore to wade through the self-help gurus who just want to make money selling more NLP seminars, but if I could do it, so can you! Learn some fucking psychology and the dangers of retraumatising a person by making them think about the shit that happened to them in the past!
Ok that's enough for now
Thank you for accompanying me on this train of thought, we have now arrived at our destination. I realise that the end of the ride was a bit rough, but I hope you learned something about hypnosis in practice, and why the reputation of hypnotherapy is so shady. If you're still wondering what kind of hypnosis things I teach to kinksters, that is a topic for another time. I write a lot about hypnosis kink, but my patreon is for smut. If you enjoy hypno smut, have a look at the stories on my Patreon and consider becoming a patron. If you want to talk about what hypnosis can and cannot do, leave a comment.

20 questions for fic writers
Between bouts of scientific sexting, IKEA shopping, and emigration counselling, @urmomsonfire tagged me to do this. Thank you! And let's go.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
22
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
68,121 with special mention to the fact that I wrote 47,952 of them this year, the rest in the last five
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Currently Top Gun, mostly Tatort before that
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
all in bad taste
the sight of you leaves me weak
(toi et moi) dans la nuit on trouvera
And Everything Is You
chat with you, baby (flirt a little maybe)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Always! One reason being that I think everyone who takes the time to leave a comment at least deserves a thank you. But I also just love the interaction with people in the comment section. I love how people can write entire essays down there and are willing to discuss it all with you and want to hear extra info and thoughts on your fics. I'm doing all this for the interaction, I think.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Nichts unversucht gelassen Dich zu hassen which no, will never have a second part thank you very much
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I don't quite know how to quantify happiness but dare I say big boy, come on 'round? It's the fic with the latest stage in a relationship and basically shows that you can still be happy and sappy even after years of marriage and it's about the changes you experience and accept as you grow old together, which qualifies as happy ending I think.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I can't remember that I ever have.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Me? Smut? Noooo. (The gay kind. The somnophilia kind.)
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I haven't actually written any crossovers and I'm personally not a huge fan of them but there was a time when I was determined to write a Star Trek TOS/Tanz der Vampire crossover. It never worked out because I didn't find the time to do it due to unexpected changes in my life.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I translated one of my fics once but I wouldn't count that. The translation was part of the process and is also really bad.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
throwing A Look in Someone's direction No. I have not.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
If I had to pick one ship for the rest of time than probably Spirk. Maybe Victorian bachelors Holmes and Watson because they're hilariously codependent.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I don't know of that counts but I probably won't ever finish the Nachspiele series (if you care). I'm like 40 episodes behind and don't think I'll ever get back into it enough for me to care.
I also have a Hangster WIP which basically had the concept of telling their story through the years, including their first time and epic breakup and getting back together, through songs Bradley plays to Jake on a bar piano. But there were details I couldn't quite figure out so I abandoned it.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm good at visualising stuff for myself. I don't know if that translates to my writing/characterisations though. Also overthinking.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
First lines, last lines (or endings in general, knowing when to stop), titles. Plot. Not getting distracted but that's a general problem of mine.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
As in "incorporating dialogues with lines of another language into a fic"? I don't mind it when it's well done and adds to the story but I can't see myself doing it (maybe for the train fic).
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I'm going to take the very easy out here and say Tatort.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
This might surprise some of you but toi et moi! If, and I say IF, the cave fic turns out the way I want it to, that might be a strong contender, too, but it's also just really self indulgent, so.
No idea who has been tagged already but tagging uh @theinsouciantknitter, @perishablealex, @wordsonamission
