A half read book and an almost empty coffee

This book is part of our academics unite book club, and omg I am loving it!! I wish I knew more about Shakespeare and the plays he has written, because these play a big part in book. Nevertheless it’s beautifully written and a good story. I’m about 50% in right now, so maybe my thoughts will change (but I doubt that).

Just look at my signed edition of If We Were Villians by M.L. Rio!!

It’s my all time favourite book since I have read it this summer, so when I saw that an illustrated and signed anniversary edition was coming out, I had no other choice but to buy it!

It’s just an amazing amazing amazing book and I can’t wait for Rio to bring out other books.

After a month of reading, I finally finished The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. This book was just beautiful. The writing style was amazing and the story as well. I ugly cried through the last few chapters because V.E. Schwab wrote the characters and their emotions so well.

I loved it & I already bought Gallant from the same author :)

I finished If We Were Villians and omg it is a 5 star read!! I also pre-ordered the anniversary edition of it because I just love it so much!

I also read The Inheritance Games, and I also liked it, but it wasn’t anything mindblowing. It was a quick read :)

Yesterday I started Six of Crows. I’m only a 100 pages in, but it’s good so far :)

27th of May

Still studying physical chemistry unfortunately. I’m really doing my best, i want to get good grades and finally graduate so my “real life” can begin. Even though it is a bit scary to start a new chapter, I am really looking forward to it.

After this exam, and after finishing my bachelors thesis, I will finally have some vacation (two whole months yay). I really want to read more books, due to my schedule this semester I could barely read anything but my magazines.

I finished A Good Girls Guide to Murder! I actually really like it, I thought I would be too old to read it lmao.

It is a bit predictable yes, but it is definitely enjoyable.

Yesterday I finished Six of Crows (the dutch translation, because that is my mother tongue) and omg I love it!! I liked this book so much more than the Shadow and Bone trilogy. I actually liked the main characters and did not find them annoying. The different POVs each chapter is also something I really enjoyed!

Now onto Crooked Kingdom :)

It’s been a while since I last posted something myself (I think it has been since january of february).

Anyways, I am not a student anymore, so it is harder to take pretty pictures. 40hr work weeks are not a joke 😅

I have these special edition books that I wanted to share from Ninth House and it’s sequel (these are Dutch editions!). I will share some more pictures when I have time to take them 🤍

I will also try to post more wallpapers/printables in the future. Lots of ideas!

Finished reading Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo last week (it was our book club book!) and I loved it, I even gave it 5 stars.

It starts a bit confusing but it’s SO worth it!! Very excited for the sequel in January.

I finished this book a few weeks ago and I gave it 5 stars, and it is still a five star book for me! I loved the story, the characters, the writing. If you haven’t read Crooked kingdom yet, you 100% should!!

Today I finished my bachelor thesis!!! It’s 97 pages long with 23 pages of attachments. It has cost me a lot of tears but also a lot of good memories from my internship where I carried out my research.

Now onto making the presentation :)

I made a honey cinnamon latte, it’s my first time trying it tho. Normally it is more pretty, but i dont have a milk steamer, only this from ikea lmao.

I finished Stardust by Neil Gaiman last week! It was quite a different book than what I was expecting, but I did like it!

The main character sometimes (almost always) made wrong life decisions and I could scream at him lmao. Overall a good book that I read in a few days :)

I HAVE PASSED MY BACHELORS THESIS

I had my thesis defense today, and they told me at the end of it that I passed and now I’m completely done with school/uni/college!! I still need to wait for my results from my physical chemistry exam that i took on the 31st of May. But I really think I did well enough to pass.

Im a really happy student rn :)

I finished reading The Maidens in two days! I actually really liked the book. I read a few reviews and they weren’t really positive so i was excited to find out for myself!

I think it’s a good murder mystery and I did not predict the ending. 4/5 ⭐️
