You are your usual Sky kid, with the new Season of AURORA out, (Where through the grapevine, heard that you get to literally meet GOD.) you've been hard at work farming for candles.

Especially Eden candles for height spells! .. Yeah you used them up trying to get taller.

On your way to the current known location of a Red Shard Event, which is in the Village of Dreams, you encounter a Moth, well, not really. They seem to understand the world enough and are apparently still getting used to seasons.

As you both converse, you're waiting for the eruption with the Sky kid as you give them advice on how to purify it since as stated, they're still getting used to it.

Once the eruptions roll in, you notice 4 gold stars rolling in too. You would assume that it's more sky kids that either are born or being re-born but..

They crash land right near you. The eruption happening at the same time. In a panic you tell the Sky Kid to move the weird dressed sky kids to a safe zone while you purified the darkness.

...

Venti is the first to wake up, instantly waking the others.

The sight was beautiful, but the situation wasn't. There were some sky kids sheltered in the stage with them, a blue person (one of the Performance Spirits) seemed to be healing a few.

A majority of them had one similar trait, simply done hair and a brown cape with 1 star at the back. Asking the spirit what's going on prompts the response of:

"Some advanced Sky kids brought a bunch of moths here to prepare for the purification of the eruption"

Excuse them as they remain confused the wHAT?!

After a good hour of finding the way out and to the village of Dreams it's.. a bit chaotic.

"CALL OVER HERE IM TRYING OT BURN S*HONK*T"

"AAAAAAAA-"

"WHO KEEPS DYING I CAN'T KEEP SAVING YOU?!"

Among the yelling children is another yelling child, you. You were flying up to get the flying dark plants, activating pre-prepared and placed shared memories to signal the mutated crabs. Even using yourself as bait while the rest continued to burn the darkness away.

What are you doing there, your grace?! You could get hurt!!

Venti and Ei were about to march over there if it weren't for Zhongli and Nahida holding them back. Don't worry Zhongli activated his shield, they're safe.

As the final act ensues (collecting the fragments of light), they watch you maneuver through the floating red crystals to get the.. glowing.. mantas??

As the final memory if collected, they all condense into one and bless the sky children.

As much as they want to approach you, it seems you're a bit occupied..

"Aiya..!! That was harder than I thought!"

"Really? It was actually kinda easy.. you all are so loud-"

"I still have to head to the stadium to see some of the spirits. Are you guys excited for the concert?"

"Pfft-! Obviously! Who wouldn't wanna meet someone who is probably our God?" Wait wHAT?!

"That IS still speculation.. we're still unsure if AURORA is Megabird and-"

"Okay okay theorists of the future we get it, let's enjoy the fun while it lasts. We have like..2 days to prepare for the concert." (psst! You can imagine yourself saying any of these dialogues)

..Congrats! You broke them.

There is a God above you?! Higher than you?! That can't be possible!!

...Well.. you do look like a child.. maybe your mother..?

The final battle of the Demon slayer corps has finally come to an end. The demon king, Muzan has finally succumbed to his demise after more than ten thousand years of living as a demon. The upper moons were all defeated and Japan is now demon free.

Of course, everything comes with a price. As many people strived to defeat the demon king, many also died in the process. Tomioka Giyuu, and Shinazugawa Sanemi, The remaining Hashiras of the corps.

Rengoku Kyojiro, Iguro Obanai, Kanroji Mitsuri, Tokito Muichiro, Himejima Gyomei, Kocho Shinobu.

These were the pillars that had lost their lives in the battlefield. Many people lost something in that battle. Their lives, their loved ones, their abilities. It will take time to heal from these wounds. Emotionally, physically and mentally.

Kanao looked at the butterfly hairpin on her hand, her mind drifts off to the insect hashira and how she died, how she was getting absorbed by that vile and disgusting demon. How she could've saved her if she was more quick enough.

Tears prickled in the corners of her eyes, holding the butterfly hairpin more firmly and bringing it close to her chest. She misses them so much. She can only pray that they will be reincarnated to a world free of demons. A world where they could be happy.

A world that they can live in freely.

Your eyes flutters open. Your head was spinning and the first thing your eyes see is the clear, bright blue sky. You blinked rapidly to clear your blurring vision. You moved your head a bit to take in your surroundings.

You were laying on a soft patch of grass in the middle of nowhere. A large tree giving you enough shade to block your form from the sun's bright, and burning glow.

Slowly you sat up, groaning while doing so. You don't remember laying or being here when you were last conscious. The last thing you remembered was the sound of your sword dropping to the ground and-

Wait.

That's right, you were fighting uppermoon two. By what you can gather, you had died and had been absorbed by him.

But.. what happened after that? You certainly didn't remember getting yourself teleported to this unknown place, in fact, this wasn't even where you were when you had fought the bastard. And aren't you supposed to be dead?

Your thoughts were interrupted when there's a sudden noise coming from behind the tree. The loud noise startling you from your train of thoughts. You stood up —albeit a bit slowly— and noticed that you still had your sword with you, and your clothes were still intact. Your hand went to the back of your head to feel the butterfly hairpin that is strangely still there.

Choosing to save the questions that were racing in your mind for later, you feel the hilt of your sword and carefully and quietly approached the matter behind the tree.

You stopped once your eyes spot the.. Unusual looking creature? It looked a bit human, with arms, legs, a head and a mask covering its face. Weird ears. It also looked like it has something on its mask.

The creature seemed didn't seem to notice you or your presence, not until you stood in front of it did it froze. Its noises stopped too. It looked completely frozen by the sight of you.

Your hand on your sword's hilt had tighten, although it didn't show any signs of attacking you nor does it seemed armed, you were still very wary of it.

It doesn't look like a demon, well, not the usual demons. It is sure a humanoid creature with just some weird ears but it doesn't seem harmful. You also noticed that it had a briefcase from its side.

"What are you?"

Those are the first words you have spoken ever since you had woken up. Your voice was hoarse, your mouth and throat felt dry like the dessert. But you aren't giving in to the tempting urge to drinking whatever liquid is near to you until this creature answered you your question.

Although you did feel a bit stupid to just ask this random creature a question, when you could've just killed it right then and there for its unusual appearance. However.. you weren't going to attack it until it attacks you first. Plus, there were something off about this one.

Your gentle gaze and soft movements startled the Unusual Hilichurl. It couldn't get its eyes off of you, you looked like you simply didn't exist. It usually payed no mind to the others and the mortals that passed by. Taking no interest in them whatsoever.

But when its eyes laid on you, it froze. The hilichurl had no idea why but it felt like its about to drop to its knees before your presence. And that, it did.

Your eyes blinked in surprise at the kneeling hilichurl in front of you. Truth to say, your eyes were keen and careful to whatever movement its doing so as you were almost about to unsheathe your sword, it just dropped to its knees and bowed.

"What are you doing?"

The creature didn't moved an inch, it just kneeled and didn't say anything. It didn't even answer your first question.

You were even more curious by this sudden behavior of this mysterious creature. You wanted to investigate and possibly might dissect it for later. Yet you couldn't ignore your stomach that was begging for food, and your dry throat.

Seeing as this creature didn't want to seem to cooperate, and it most likely probably couldn't, you let it be, as you need to do more important things. Like finding food and water to prevent yourself from dying of thirst or starvation.

You just took once more glance at it and turned your heel to walk away. To your surprise, you have spotted a small river. You walked towards it and removed your butterfly patterned haori to properly drink it.

The water's very refreshing, and it felt like heaven when the liquid made contact to your mouth, and down to your throat. Not to mention, the water also tastes quite good. Its most likely because you haven't really drank much. Wonder how long you were laying in that area?

After drinking, you had put your haori back on and went to explore this unfamiliar place that you're in. Maybe you could find some sort of village or town here that would invite you in.

You looked around for a bit and noticed that theres something in the distance that caught your eye, was it a city perhaps? it looked huge, there were windmills that you could see clearly from this place. Maybe there'll be some people there that can help you.

The cool breeze of the air and the heat of the sun felt so much like home to you. It has been awhile since you felt this relaxed with such environment. The scenery, the relaxing atmosphere, it felt so nostalgic.

"This is nice."

You couldn't help but speak fondly out loud. You smiled to yourself, a real and genuine smile. Not the fake smile that you usually wore to hide your true self, but a relaxed, and actual calm smile. This sense of tranquility almost feels too foreign to you that you couldn't help but sigh and close your eyes.

Even if you didn't see it, even if you weren't there, you could sense that the uppermoon two had been defeated by your tsuguko, and Inosuke. You couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the cocky bastard arrogantly mocking you from your "worthless" attempt to kill him.

It was only when the poison taking effect did you laugh at that fucker's melting face. He really did underestimate you huh? Who knew that a simple butterfly can unleash so much hell with a single flap of its wings? It was truly pathetic trying to see the little shit's futile attempt regenerate its head.

Once the uppermoon had been defeated and is now entering the gates of hell, you were triumphant of his demise. You couldn't stand seeing his stupid face and seeing it melting to the ground unleashed a wave of satisfaction in you.

You shook your head and chuckled to yourself, focusing on your only goal for now as you continued your way to the city with a slight and satisfied curl of your lips.

The windmills of this city was getting clearer to your vision, as you were getting nearer and nearer to the city, a voice suddenly calls out.

"Stop right there!"

You froze and stopped in your tracks. Was it another one of those creatures that you met at that tree? but this one can talk and- wait a minute. Are they speaking in a foreign language?

Where exactly did you wake up in?

The Naiad au (Scrapped)

She looked up towards the sky from the ocean floor staring at it for a while. While she managed to survive she had no idea what to do. Going to the surface was probably a very bad idea in case she ran into those villagers again, for now she should explore her surroundings.

To swim in the sea came surprisingly easy for her, she was never an excellent swimmer but the way she moved felt eerily natural. She came to realize she did not need to move her arms. Her legs and perhaps something else (a power she did not understand) did most of the work.

Oxygen was not a problem either, she idly wondered if she had gills somewhere on her body.

She swam in between some kelps and fishes. There was, yellow, green and red big huge vines which she saw in between too. The floor beneath was a vibrant green shade, everything here was so colorful and beautiful. It felt so alive and thriving. She would have thought that the ocean deep beneath was darker, murkier and scarier but she fell in awe the more she saw.

She looked up and saw the sun giving the water above a golden hue, soon the sun would set but she did not feel afraid at the thought of the dark.

The ocean was mostly empty of any dangers. There were so many colorful schools of fishes swimming around, occasionally she would see a big fish that would look like a predator but they would never come to her and harm her. Perhaps she did not look tasty to them?

At the thought of food she did feel slightly hungry but it wasn't anything too urgent, yet it was best to find something to eat now while she could. She looked around and saw some seaweed. She did remember seaweed could be edible and the water here looked clean, there was no harm right?

At most it would perhaps taste gross, she tore off some of the seaweed and hesitantly took a bite. The taste was not unpleasant, it tasted salty and the texture was not slimy like she expected but rather a bit rubbery. She happily took another bite, the best part there was a lot of seaweed so the chances of her running out of it was very low. While eating her impromptu lunch-dinner she did not notice a few fish appearing beside her. When she noticed them she looked at them curiously one of them came near her face and bumped into her mouth.

She was rather confused and she started to laugh. While laughing the fish entered her mouth which caused her to panic, which caused her to choke and then her trying to get the fish out of her mouth. She looked at the troublemaking fish she finally caught in her hand in confusion. 

What was going on?

in her peripheral she saw one of the larger fish approach her, it looked like a salmon but she was not sure. The larger fish approached one of the smaller fishes and opened its mouth, she could see the fish's sharp teeth. The smaller fish then willingly entered the pseudo salmon's mouth much to her shock.

The salmon then began to eat the smaller fish all while looking at her and she could not help but to think of the smaller fish's earlier actions. They wanted her to eat them?

This was all too confusing. Fish are not supposed to behave like this, since when did prey willingly enter a predator's mouth? The fish in her hand wiggled before approaching her face, more specifically her mouth.

Should she try to do it? Maybe just one bite. . .

She held both ends of the fish with her hands, closed her eyes, did a sharp exhale and took a bite.

crunch.

Yikes she forgot about the fish bones but the bones did not hurt at all. The fish's taste was rather tasty and flavorful, much better than the seagrass. Another fish appeared in front of her, a different species than the one she ate and she took the fish and proceeded to eat it too, this one tasted a little bit saltier. Soon different species of smaller fish came up to her and she ate one of each.

After a while she patted her stomach. She really overdid it but in her defense she never had eaten fish like this, they were raw and despite that they were tasty. Hopefully since she was presumably no longer human she would not catch any diseases from eating raw fish. . .

She slowly traced her sharp teeth with her tongue, another discovery about her body. Speaking of her body she really should move around to digest the food. With that in mind she began swimming around with no direction in mind exploring the seafloor and its vibrant ecosystem.

She followed some manta ray looking creatures (she was pretty sure manta rays were not green). She swam along with them doing twists and turns which caused her to laugh. One nudged her on the hand which caused her to start petting the manta ray like one would a dog, the texture was not unpleasant to the touch.

After some more playing around with the manta rays they approached. . . something?

 She looked towards the direction of the place. It was ominous, omitting a weird aura. It was as if she should not approach the place but that only piqued her curiosity even more. If she was sane she would not approach whatever that place was yet she has gone through multiple literal life changing events so she went ahead to the direction of the place.

It certainly did not disappoint.

She gasped as she saw the tall pillars holding down a creature which she could only describe as a blue sea dragon with multiple heads. The structure despite being so impressive looked old yet so sturdy still holding down the monster (or creature?).

She hesitantly approached a pillar that pinned down one head. 

The creature snapped its eyes open.

She made a small squeaking sound and fumbled backwards. The bound creature gave her what she could only assume was an unimpressed yet annoyed glare as they stared down at her.

She shivered yet stood frozen still in his glare unable to move or break eye contact.

"You should not be here."

She gulped and frantically tried to come up with something.

"I-i- i just followed a trail. . ."

"This place is sealed, no mortal or god should be able to come in here."

The creature ignored her previous comment and the annoyed expression he had previously turned into curiosity as he stared down at her like one would do to a dog who made an interesting trick.

"I am- i don't know," she cringed at her own words, "I uhh sort of woke up in here, the ocean, and-and just came upon this place."

The more she spoke the more she wanted to dig herself into a hole and curl in there. The creature before her did not change his expression, continuing to stare at her.

"You were just born?"

Born? That was one way to look at it. She did die but now she is alive, so a sort of rebirth.

"Yes?"

Her answer came more out as a question, she herself was unaware what really happened.

"I see and do you have a name?"

the creature looked at her expectantly as if that would give the creature an answer to a question. For her that question was a curse.

Impostor. Heretic. Stealing the name of the creator.

She sucked in a harsh breath except what filled her lungs was water reminding her of her drowning. Her mind began to go hazy, flashes of the village mob still inside of her mind. She hugged her body tightly. Her real name was a liability in this world. Yet just like her body she can change it as well.

"It's Naiad."

The creature closed their eyes, perhaps thinking or reminiscing. She doubted the creature would know of her name. The name was not of this world.

"I see you were born with a name, not many do."

Naiad looked at him questioningly, not really sure how to answer, she had so many questions other than what he just said. Yet could she ask them? Despite having a powerful aura he was pinned down, as if they were imprisoned, the pillars acting as chains to this prison. If Naiad did end up offending them perhaps she could make a run- swim for it.

"Uhm. . . What do I call you?" She asked with a meek voice.

He looked down at her and she stared back. Naiad felt like time  passed slower before the creature finally answered.

"I am Osial."

SAGAU Community, I need your help

I'll make it quick. I need your help to find this fic. It was a crossover between Self-Aware Genshin and Cookie Run. Basically, the reader was transported alongside some of the cookies (Don't remember which ones) into Teyvat where our favorite Imposter storyline is happening. The Cookies protect Reader, until the inhabitants learn of Reader being the true Creator. Later, Reader wishes to leave Teyvat, but the "acolytes" refuse to let them go, saying stuff like "Teyvat needs your guidance" and all that. Eventually they trap both Reader and the Cookies, so that "Their Grace" never leaves them again.

Meet the Ancient warriors.

You will be meeting heroes of old, legends of the past from a battle long ago.

The "Ancient Warriors" are based on the book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and the era ascosciated with said book. Each of the three Kingdoms are represented by an element. Eastern Wu is represented by water and has a theme of white feathers. Shu Han is represented by wind and has a theme of fur. Cao Wei is ascosciated with fire and has a theme of flaming feathers. Independent is represented by dark and has no theme. All of them have an animal associated with their designs or armor.

Meet the group of Eastern wu

Sun Mou who is based on Sun Quan and the animal tied to him is the turtle and snake or the Chinese black tortoise.

Personality

A strict leader who is an amazing military strategist. A man who is diligent an collectible. He is incredibly strict and a rules lawyer. He also has the ability to read people like a book.

His problem is that he has his head so far up his own butt that it makes him blind to the opinions of other.

He is an anemo character with a unique gimmick he can't use a charge attack and cannot gain energy.

Basic attack

Scale dust strike

Hits an enemy with two slashes per single attack. The attacks count as separate hits. He has a scaling for basic attack up to 5 clicks from 1st to fifth. 200%,210%,240%, 270, 340%. Mind you he has a very fast attack speed.

Skill

Snake technique: bite

Deals 250% anemo damage and is quick slash. Grants a debuff to an enemy that increases the chance for that enemy to get critical hits by 35% and grants all allies 15% crit rate for ten seconds. It also applies 4 stacks of bleed and grants 6 stacks of blade dance

Cooldown 5 seconds

Burst

Black tortoise blessing: Scale storm dust

Requirement 10 stacks of blade dance

Sun Mou sheds dust of his armor. He then uses his sword to make a whirlwind and those dust particles become miniature needles that cuts the opponent. It hits 20 times. He then switches to another party member and that party member gains a shield whose hp is 500% of Sun Mou's elemental mastery. That party member also gains 50% of Sun Mou's attack, def, crit rate and crit dmg;and 100% of his elemental mastery.

You can fight him as a world boss like the Regisvine. You have two ways of defeating him. You can stall him without taking any damage until the timer runs out or deal enough damage to defeat him.

There is a special achievement of defeating him solo and with no artifacts. The achievement is called " Let me solo him"

Drops are all the books with a chance to double the drops and a guaranteed chance to drop a billet. The billets are always random on week ends but you can gurantee them based on the weekday.

Meet the duo of Liu Xian and zhuge kong

Zhuge Kong and Liu Xian are based on Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang. The animal tied to them is a dragon.

Zhuge Kong is the strategist

Liu Xian is the leader.

Zhuge Kong is merciful and a hermit. He is incredibly wise. He is incredibly wise for his age to the point people want to look for him for advice. Man is good with words and is incredibly loyal to Liu Xian. There are rumors that he might have feelings for him.

There is a specific achievement if you can convince him to help yanfei win a rap competition called " Ya Boi is back"

His only two weaknesses are physical ability and he cannot be funny for the life of him.

Liu Xian is an honorable man. He is a man of virtue. He shows that even as a warlord. He has honor among them. He has a very close bond with Zhuge Kong like Achilles and Patroclus. He says that Zhuge Kong is the only person he trusts with his will

These two are a pair in combat. They take up two slots but they are treated as anemo. If it's these two by themselves they naturally have anemo resonance.

Talent Strategist's wisdom. He can activate the resonance of all party members.

These two are unique to say the least. When you build one you build the other at the same time.

We have Zhuge first as his is easier. Zhuge has no basic attack. He instead has two skills at a ridiculously short cooldown of 5 sec.

First skill tactician's advice- apply a buff to all allies when activated. Gain 2 times the energy and lower all cooldowns by 15% for 20 secs.

Second skill Snore of the sleeping dragon. All enemies get continuously sucked into circle. (Think like sucrose ult with out launching the enemies into the air) that deals anemo damage equal to 150% of his attack and all enemies within it get 10% of their shield broken no matter the type.

Talent This applies a debuff to all enemies. The debuff makes it so that anyone who has it receives 2.5 times the damage when they get hit with an elemental attack and 5 times the damage from a physical attack.

He uses dual swords like Sun Quan

Basic attack Wushu strike.

Hits an enemy with two slashes per single attack. The attacks count as separate hits. He has a scaling for basic attack up to 5 clicks from 1st to fifth. 200%,210%,240%, 270, 340%.

Cooldown 10 secs

Energy 1 per hit to a singular enemy.

He strikes the enemy sixteen times. Each hit deals Anemo and physical damage equivalent to 169% of his attack. He gains a stack of honor after using this skill.

Talent each honor stack increases his crit rate by 20% and his allies crit rate by 10% max stacks can be gained up to 3 this lasts for 30 secs

These two share an ultimate double dragon lords: howling gale

Zhuge summons a giant tornado and Liu attacks each enemy inside the tornado sixteen times. Each hit does 200 of Liu Xian's damage. The tornado apply a debuff that makes it so during the duration of the tornado being activeevery element inside that tornado is not removed when a reaction is activated. The duration of the tornado being 25 secs. During duration of the tornado being active Liu Xian cannot be switched into.

About Jean: The Acting Grandmaster was wary of me at first when I first arrived in Mondstadt for questions on how to get back to Minecraft only to suddenly declare to chase me down with her knights. She’s a pretty face not gonna lie and it’s a shame she had to be my enemy and listen to that imposter’s orders. I got nothing to say to her and I admit she’s a formidable opponent.

About Lisa: If only she wasn’t such a huge cult simp of the imposter I could have a decent conversation with this beautiful lady that makes anyone wanna blush except I wanna see her blushing…What? I did say I swing both genders and you can agree Lisa is such a beautiful woman like the rest of this world although she is very feisty and dangerous with those electric powers.

Hello, again I am sorry for the delay with this, I will be answering both this ask and your previous one regarding the Umbrella Academy Dance Off idea in this one reply.

First, let's start with the most humorous of the pair, that being the dance off, I am admittedly not that experienced with Umbrella Academy, but the image that post has painted in my mind left me chuckling for quite a while after reading it.

As for how such a thing would occur in a SAGAU setting...hmmm...I have two ideas for the matter, the first involves Venti's one true love and the other involves the one thing you can always expect to occur when such wildly devoted individuals over hear something and make an assumption.

The first one, as I stated, involves the one true love of the Tone-Deaf Bard; Booze. To be exact, it involves the acolytes getting drunk off their asses at a celebration and someone, perhaps even the reader themselves, inadvertently starting the dance off as a means of showing off for the reader who, along with the other sober participants, is watching with a mixture of amusement and embarrassment at the mess before them.

The second involves the acolytes being sober...well...oaky all of them but Venti who is rarely, if ever truly sober, with them misunderstanding something the reader says and trying to impress them at a ball or other such form of celebration, with the ensuing chaos being a game to try and court the readers favor...or make them die of embarrassment and laughter, they are not certain because while some of them can dance...others...well...the kindest descriptor is an epileptic chicken with a strobe light tied to its face running around with a sparkler shoved somewhere sensitive...in other words, a mess.

As for the Ashened, it does indeed remind me a great deal of the Soulsborne series, the naming schemes for the characters, along with the link to fire and a constant cycle of conflict, with their souls having been trapped within an unending cycle of battle for a nation and cause long swept under the ashes and dust of the past.

The character designs seem like they would be quite fitting in the gritty and grim setting of the Soulsborne verse as well, along with the mechanic the main boss of the deck seems to have involving consuming the souls of the fallen to enhance its own strength. which calls to mind the Lords of Cinder from DS3...a dragon Lord Of Cinders...oh that is a nightmare that will haunt me for some time.

Veidos...hmmm...why do I suddenly hear Dark Eater Midir's theme?

The idea of them being trapped in a cycle does make me wonder just how powerful each of them would be when they are taken out of their ashen city, as, assuming we are following the logic of the Souls genre, they would have been growing in power and skill with each life and death as they gained the souls of their fallen comrades to further fuel their struggle against extinction made flesh.

Which also asks just how powerful Veidos would be if he does indeed absorb all of the fallen inhabitants souls should he be pushed too far, with the surge of power likely placing him on par with, if not superior, to the Archons in terms of sheer destructive power, and that is assuming he does not also gain their memories and power to further enhance himself.

I am curious as to just what would happen should their cycle end, as it seems to be caging Veidos and preventing it from taking any actions against the rest of the world due to it appearing to be trapped with them, assuming I am reading this correctly, so I wonder if the cycles breaking would herald him being released on the world in full, or if they would have worn him down over the aeons spent battling him.

Regardless of that matter, the idea of them having been fighting for so long that not only has history forgotten their names, but it is likely their entire nation has long been swept from the maps, which would cause no small amount of chaos should it be discovered as the nations would likely try and search for whatever wealth and power is hidden in the ruins of the nation, only to be pulled into the cycle, likely being viewed as enemies by the people of Obsidim.

I feel that by the time they are able to bridge the language barrier or convince them that they are not on the side of Veidos, that iteration of the cycle would likely have reached its conclusion, with those dying being enveloped by the same power that seared the Ashened warriors souls into their city and thus joining in bein g trapped in the cycle until it is at last broken with Veidos' death.

Something that will not come easy.

The reader is a little kid, and the archon, Morax, aka Zhongli takes it upon himself to teach you math. Already a horrible mistake.

He gives you three questions, they're fairly simple, he thinks. Oh he is so, SO wrong.

Why? Because poor, poor you is already having flashbacks.

"6 x 3 = 18"

The last question was readable, but your mind was still stuck in the trauma that is the schoolhouse

You sit there, panicking, trying to answer Zhongli, who decides to repeat the question.

In the middle of the stress, you blurt out "53?!". "I apologize your grace but that is incorre-"

"D-don't hurt me-!" Zhongli, the old man he is, is confused, why would he hurt you?! Eh, too late, you've ran.

Moments later, he DID find you and try to approach you. And that- that just made it worse- Nahida noticed it all and almost had to slap some sense in the poor man that the creator was scared.

After some discussion, it was decided that Alhaitham, Tighnari or Nahida teaches you.

Tighnari seems to notice your anxiety, and tries to decrease his damn sass (/hj). Okay im kidding, he tries to be a bit more gentle in teaching, and gives lectures on how to do the equations and doesn't just slap a devise infront of you and ask you to solve. (unlike a certain green and bald teacher who carries a ruler, cough cough, BALDI.)

Alhaitham probably lets you read those text books you'd use in grade school and lets you do the exercises on some of the pages to see if you understand

and Nahida is there to help you simplify the steps, gives you tips, etc. She also seems to be a mix of Tighnari and Alhaitham's way of teaching you, as she lets you do exercise on your own, and explains in her own way how to do the steps

Though, they're still confused as to why you always panic when they ask you a third math question, it's as if you can't understand it no matter how many times they repeat it. You always give the wrong answer. No matter what, you always get it wrong

They noticed that if they point it out, you'll panic even more, so they decide to just say the right answer and say something like "Let's try again, okay?", "Do you need help?" or "Hmmm, how about we try another strategy?"

Either way, it's up to you if you wanna tell them. But that IS if you can restrain them from building a portal to sue your old school, or if you want, you can let them.

The Naiad au (Scrapped)

EDIT: 17/11/2023 I have decided to rework this series, so this story won't continue, instead there will be a new one with the same concept.

this is part 1 , part 2

The warm embrace of the water did not soothe her as much as she had thought. She was flailing, panicking and scared out of her wits. She was doing anything to rise up again to the surface but the net and anchor would not let her go, using their imaginary claws to sink her deeper and deeper into the ocean floor. Her lungs were burning and her rational mind was screaming at her to remain calm. She was wasting precious resources and making things worse yet her instincts were louder trying to fight the descent into the watery prison below.

Was this how things were going to end?

Stranded in a new world alone, confused and branded as an impostor for a god she did not know?

"With your death may All-Mother cleanse us of your sins."

What sins? What did she do? Who was All-Mother?

But no one would be there to answer her. The only answer was the silence of the water.

She looked up one final time. she could still see the sun above shining ever so brightly reflected on the water above, she tried reaching it with her hand but it was in vain.

The net still clung to her like the villagers arms as they apprehended her and tied her. The anchor was heavy she saw as it took three grown men to carry and she was just one weak untrained girl, it was futile to fight.

The anchor continued to pull her down.

In the back recess of her mind she thought how weird, how familiar this scene was. Once upon a time she remembered watching the same scene but through a third view another girl just like her was killed in the same manner.

For something she had no control over.

Unlike that person would she just drown quietly, would a miracle happen and she too would grow fins, gills, the ability to breathe underwater? That would be most ideal if she did not want to end as a corpse underwater. Alone in the dark ocean being killed for a crime she did not commit.

If only she could be like that girl.

with that one final thought her body betrayed her and she ended up breathing the ocean water. She closed her eyes for the last time as the water filled her lungs.

There was a small sound she could hear. She did not know where it came from. It sounded what she thought a star would sound like, small, sparkly and floaty . Softly it hummed and swayed creating a sweet melody. It hummed once again and she could not help herself but to hum along.

The sound stopped for a second after she hummed along but resumed its melody a bit faster, perhaps it was cheerful she joined along? She opened her eyes to look.

What greeted her was not a person, not a creature but the sun still shining down on the ocean floor.

How?

It should not be possible for the sun to still be visible all the way down here. . .

Wait.

She was still alive?

Realization dawned on her and her eyes widened in shock, she looked around frantically. She was definitely on the ocean floor, the anchor still attached to the fishnet she was stuck in.

Yet.

She was alive?

She hesitantly took a deep breath when she expected water to fill her lungs. Nothing happened. She was speechless for a moment bringing a hand towards her chest and she looked down. What shocked her was the sight in front of her.

Her arm- her hand.

 Despite being so deep into the ocean she could see her previous skin color was gone, something akin to a blue-ish tone took its place. Her hands were now webbed as well with the tip of her fingers having sharp nails and a deep purple hue.

What had happened to her.

She touched her face but it still felt the same. She doubted she could find a mirror All the way down here.

She wanted to try to get out of the fishnet first Before planning anything else.

After finally having a concrete plan she pushed herself upwards and tried to pry the fishnet away from her but it was mostly in vain. She looked at her sharp nails and wondered if she could try to cut it off with them.

She took one hand and tried to pull the net with her nails while the other was holding it in place. It took some while to get the process right before the net started to tear down.

Neat!

Finally sensing some hope in this situation she managed to bring out a smile. After some more flailing around and tearing the net she managed to tear it out enough that she could get away from her "net-prison".

After she was finally out from the fishnet she relaxed her shoulders in relief. Finally she had a moment of peace to herself.

Perhaps that was the scary part as well, the peace allowed her to think but thinking of what happened. Waking up in a strange land, being captured, treated like some criminal and then dying. Except she did not die. She looked down on her webbed hands. She traced her fingers with her other hand, over the sharp nail, over the visible veins and in between the webbed parts. It felt too real to be a dream. She pressed her finger deeper into the palm of her hand. her sharpened nail accidentally cut into her flesh but she only felt a sting. What surprised her was the golden liquid that flew out of her hand.

Perhaps she did really die and was reborn as something else because she certainly was no longer a human.

She watched in fascination as her skin healed itself in merely a few seconds.

Yeah, definitely not a human anymore.

She sighed but then was shocked to see bubbles leave her mouth. A neat reminder she was very much at the bottom of the ocean, alive and all.

Meet the zoodiacs.

The "Zoodiac" monsters are based on the Twelve Animals of the Chinese Zodiac, with each monster being a slightly anthropomorphized version of their respective animal. Each monster also wears an oversized gauntlet on either their left or right forearm, with which they wield their own respective weapon, and a belt marked with the Earthly Branch corresponding to the zodiac animal.

The weapons that each hold are a sacred armament granted by a legendary hero. These weapons were used to slay a true king. A true king is a creature of chaos if left unchecked could end a Continent in a day. Three of them are evil except one. The good one is a piece of the legendary hero's power that manifested after he and his adversary fought.

You will get to meet them based on order of the Chinese Zodiac.

First up Ratpier. Ratpier is a rat+rapier. The power of this zoodiac is duplication think naruto with kage bushin no jutsu. The clones can only be two active at a time but there is no cool down. Ratpier is good at fast piercing attacks and dodging. Ratpier is considered physically enept at the group and physically weak among them. Ratpier is good at distractions and making weak points. Ratpier is This power is based of this cards effect. The power is so busted that it had to be limited. So functionally it just becomes an extra main deck zoodiac.

The personality is that of a prankster that has to be disciplined every now and again for the pranks. Very clever and the best at stealth among them.

Gender is something that is very confusing with this one as Ratpier could very well be male or female and even the other zoodiac don't know but only one of them knows but pretends not to for Ratpier's entertainment. Ratpier is the best at espionage missions as nobody would suspect that a woman would be the thief if the thief was a man and vice versa.

Ratpier is implied to have both male and female genitalia.

Meet broadbull. The name is a mix between broad axe and bull. He is a himbo who acts like a responsible but clueless father. He can summon the help of the others to teleport to him. That hammer has made mountain ranges to a mountain. He is best friends with Ratpier. He is the only person that know Ratpier's gender. He never told anyone as Ratpier told him to never say it. That or he just forgot. He is the most honest and hardworking out of all the zoodiacs. He has that type of personality that people will give him free stuff at the market for helping all the people who worked at said market.

Meet tigermortar It is is a combination off tiger and mortar.

She is riding what can functionally be a canon and quad bike. That canon is so strong one charges shot and it has made a mountain into a valley. She has multiple different types of ammo can be used to destroy different things. One of them happens to be able to destroy a curse, spiritual being or demon. This ammo doesn't destroy physical objects but can destroy things in the spiritual objects or creatures.

This woman has learned a lot of exorcism techniques that she can make chongyun's family look like amateurs with the amount of knowledge she can has.

Her personality is that of a down to earth and courageous woman. She also has this ability to inspire morale of people most commonly soldiers.

Meet bunnyblast. The name is a combination of bunny and blast.

She has a blunderbuss. Her weapon is known as a supportive weapon despite it being a gun. She can shoot a healing ampule that can create a aoe field or have a bullet that has high knockback and recoil. This allows her to sort of fly infinitely with the help from the knockback. To understand the mechanics on how this works. Has anyone seen the tf2 rocket jump. Yeah she can fly like that.

She acts like a rabbit as well being a very expressive person is known to be a giant ball of Energy and fun. She also has a weird love of explosions and loves to blow stuff up. The only difference between her and klee is she actually tries to keep it safe.

Meet drident. Her name is a mix between trident and dragon.

She has the power to just make something or someone spontaneously combust, ignite, freeze or petrify in an instant. She has to aim that giant trident and it will shoot a laser that can instantly disintegrate anything that was shot by it.

She is considered the head matriarch of the family. Earning the title of grandma. She is the oldest by far. She is a grandma. When she is mad that trident isn't the only weapon. She can and will smack you with anything. She has this aura that is some how comforting yet intimidating. She is a very strict teacher. She can be judgemental at times but only at adults. She loves to spoil her grandchildren.

What happened when she was in liyue. She has roasted the hell out of all the adults in liyue. So far, only Baizhu, XinYan, Yun Jin, Ganyu, Yanfei Keqing and Xiao have not been roasted to oblivion. XinYan, Yun Jin, Keqing and Xiao are considered her grandchildren with Xiao and Keqing going through a rebellious phase. Baizhu has an illness so expecting him not to be as strong is normal. Yanfei is one of the few who received her praise as one of her best grandchildren. Ganyu was also the same as yanfei expect she told her to get some rest and sleep more. Baizhu is one of the few adults who received her compliment as she likes him but tells him this. "I don't support you trying to get immortality. I want to tell you as I had many friends but what happened in the end was I saw them all grow old and missed my life with them. I kept moving on as my family was there. I don't want you to see your friends and family die. I am can understand why you want to cure your disease so that you can be normal. "
