The hidden creator
I had a plot bunny idea
TW: usual cult stuff, hints of yandere
-gn reader (I tried making it gender-neutral if there is a comment that is off please tell me and I will fix it)
EDIT: 14/11/2023 (changed some wording and other stuff nothing major)
Creator Reader Pov:
-You were just a regular person who one day woke up in Teyvat out of all places
-You realized you still had all your game features and figured it was one of the perks of being isekaied like in other isekai stories
-The whole thing is weird and why you were here, you had no idea
-After the novelty wears off you take some time mourning the loss of your previous life and the people you knew
-After that you try to get a semblance of a normal life like getting a job and trying to be independent
-Despite having a game system you do not want to be an adventurer or learn how to fight it's not for you
-You were previously an average civilian and raised as one it would be hard to become a fighter now
-Instead you gravitated towards creating things, you found an apprentice position in a clockwork shop in Fontaine
-It is fun and you get to tinker with gears and clocks, learning how various machines work and how to create your own items
-overall you are content
-Except weird people occasionally come by the shop you work at including the Iudex of Fontaine which had both you and the shopkeeper sweating the first few times
-Yet the man who insisted you call him by his name Neuvilette is really polite and nice to talk to, soon you warmed up to him
-You could not help the feeling as if you knew him from before, as if you forgot something, you were unusually fond of him.
-Your other "clients" if you could call them that were more intimidating, you had no idea what they were doing in this shop and it scared you
-The Fatui Harbringers occasionally stopped by the shop to buy a trinket or two before leaving, it honestly scared you and the thaught of running away to another nation had crossed your mind once or twice yet you liked your job and your boss and you made some good friends here so it was hard to leave
-Overall you were doing okay
-Except it seems the people here almost in a cult-like manner worship a creator that was never in the game lore
-It is said they resided in Celestia and not many people actually got to see them, not that it mattered for a nobody like you
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tsaritsa Pov:
-The Tsaritsa knew their so called creator was fake
-She knew she had to get rid of the fake creator as they and Celestia had caused irreparable damage
-Even if she had to stain her hands
-One day it happened something shifted in the earth, air, water- no the whole of Teyvat
-It happened so softly like a small snowflake landing on the ground
-She was hypnotized as if a siren was beckoning her she found you.
-You were their true creator
-You were wearing apprenticeship clothes tinkering with something in your hands and deeply concentrated
-She wondered if that is how you created the universe with careful and steady hands guiding and shaping it to your will.
-She wanted to take you away from this. . . small shop, yet she knew begrudgingly you were safe here, if anyone were to find out a sliver of your existence. . .
-You were safer hidden among mortals
-It left a bitter taste in her mouth
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Neuvilette Pov
-It just happened one day, out of the blue, he could feel it in the shift of the waters
-The way Furina shifted and turned her head unable to sit still confirmed he was not the only one feeling this
-Something happened and he had no idea what exactly happened
-There was this familiar presence this comforting feeling, ancient old instincts waking up
-He followed it without thought until he came upon an in inconspicuous clockwork shop
-He was confused but did not hesitate to step inside
-Then he saw you and everything clicked
-It was you his creator his universe his everything
-You were back
-It seems in this incarnation you were just a human
-That was fine he was oaky with that as long as you were here
-His heart ached seeing you
-He wanted to hug and ask you to never leave again to always stay by his side, for you to comfort him after what had happened and console him
-He should take you way somewhere safer somewhere better not here-
-But weren't you safer hiding among mortals, a part of his mind whispered, no one would suspect you being here even the fake (he cursed them) would not think of finding you here, if he brought you back with him it would create more attention on you
-Attention that would cause you trouble
-He left with defeat on his steps
-It was later he would met the Tsaritsa and a deal was struck
-All for your sake

Okay, but what about an imposter au with an isekied!reader that is way too inocent and excited to notice that people were initialy mad at them?
Like, reader arrived Tevyat and gets incredibly excited when realice what is happening and then one of the characters find them and when was about to acuse you of trying to look like the creator reader just goes to them and start talking super excitedly with a big smile about them, calling them cute nicknames, praising their strenght and elementary mastery and even talking about their weapon, telling them how much you like to use them in your adventures and how you were trying really hard to build them or how excited you were to get them (even saving wishes to get it in the next banner)
They are supoused to be angry at you for you audacity to dress like the creator but now is completely flustered because the one in the throne barely look at them and probably doesn't even know their name and now you are praising them and even know a lot of them, and yet they doesn't feel vulnerable (or at least not in a bad way) or in danger, they feel completely safe (u know, for the creator's aura)
I think that is more than enough proof of you being the real one

What if Creator successfully escaped Teyvat?
Creator's POV
Holy shit, I did it! I opened the portal, I can go back home. The Spiral Abyss portal is wide open and I'm really to get the hell out of here.
As I walk forward and a primogem shaped portal opens and out walks the character the fandom called, the Unknown God.
Her cold expression bored into me. She moved closer to me.
"I see you opened a portal, you want to leave don't you?" she asks.
I nods my head and she leans forward and tells me she has a solution.
"What is it?" I ask.
" Relinquish all your power to me and Clestia," she staed.
There was a tense silence before I extended my hand to her.
"Deal," is all I say to her after that.
She opens a portal to who knows where and leaves me in front of the Spiral Abyss. Closing my eyes I walk into the portal and...
I hear people's voices, I hear my friends voices laced with concern and relief.
"Holy shit, you're ok!" One yells.
The yelling make my ears hurt. I look around and see a few nurses and a doctor. My friends have eyes with various degrees of red and puffiness. They must have all been crying at some point. . I can tell I'm in a hospital.
I ask what happened and according to my friends, I was missing for a long time and I was found in rough shape near a willow tree. I was in the hospital because they had no idea what could have happened to me and my body. I smile at them and give out hugs. My partner and family comes to vist me as well.
After months I'm able to live my life again. I remember everything that happened, how I was taken to Teyvat, how people saw me as an all powerful God, and how they wanted to keep me there and how they acted like deranged followers. I uninstalled Genshin from very device I own and deleted all the data as well. It pained me a bit, but after that hell. I never want to play it agian.
My life moves on, I live my life and never think about Genshin again, untill someone close to me starts getting super into the game and fandom. I keep an eye on them in case those weirdos try to prey on them.
Meanwhile, in Teyvat
The archons and Neuvillette were ready to perform the ritual that brought you to them the first time, but instead of a light flash and a vision of you... nothing happens. They try and try again but nothing happens. If they keep going they'll be the definition of insanity. When news spreads that they have lost you forever the people mourn you, like they did with the first version of you... all those eons ago. It does not matter that you are alive in a different world, to Teyvat the day you left will be remembered as the day, the Creator died twice.

SAGAU: WHEN YOUR FRIEND JOINS YOUR WORLD
Tumblr media
❀ synopsis: the characters are forced to watch as you and your friend frolic around Teyvat unaware of the storm brewing inside of them.
❀ notes: So recently I raised my adventure rank to 16 (I'm at 17 now) and people can now join my world. After my friend discovered this she keeps pestering me to log in to my genshin account so we can fight enemies together. I main Aether while she mains Venti so most of the time we're in Monstadt we would chill together at good hunter which looked like a dinner date. The brain rot immediately hit my head on how the sagau characters would be like with this so here I am writing about it.
❀ pronouns: none specified.
Tumblr media
VENTI/BARBATOS:
Envy. That was all he felt as he watches the impostor skipping beside you as you possess Aether. The worst part is he couldn't do anything, no matter what he did the arrows would never be able to hit the other Venti. It was like the winds were obeying the other Venti's orders, making sure it never hit the impostor which infuriated him even more. And he can't just run toward the other and strangle them either because his body would suddenly freeze up and force him to stand in a singular place when the both of you are close. When you and the other Venti are not in his peripheral vision he would be able to move again.
His knuckles turn white as he clenches his bow with strength that is enough to snap it into two. You and the impostor are currently in good hunter sitting across each other on a table, the impostor's voice sounded different from his (which was expected since it wasn't the original anyway) but you didn't seem to notice, or at least didn't care about its voice. He hid behind one of the houses as he stalked on the both of you, his pupils dilating as he watches the other Venti feed you radish stew.
'It should've been me' his breathing became more shallow 'it should've been me' his bow snapped into two before disintegrating into dust and manifesting on his back in pristine condition. His nails dig into the flesh of his palm causing it to bleed, his blood starts to form a puddle next to his foot as he continues to watch the two of you laughing and smiling together. While it shows it was Aether smiling and laughing he knows that Aether is under the influence of your emotions. Meaning if Aether is happy, so are you.
He wishes he could just run up to the impostor and rip off its vocal cords so it may never be able to laugh alongside you. He wanted to pummel its face until it was unrecognizable to anyone seeing its corpse. Its face was never it's own anyway, from what he remembers he was the one who made the promise to take the form of his friend. Not that thing.
Tumblr media
DILUC RAGNVINDR
When he saw you and "Venti" walking together while talking he was in shock. How was Venti able to talk to you so normally without him being stuck in one place? Did he find a way to break the code? How? He was going to rush towards the both of you before he found himself slowly freezing and shifting to his idle stance. "Damn it" he thought, Venti better tell him how he broke through the code or he's gonna riot-
What he discovered next shocked him before he felt an inkling of fear inside of him. He saw another Venti, but this one seem to be in a trance of anger and jealousy. The blood on his palms stained his fingers and created a puddle below the ground, but he didn't seem to mind as all of his attention was on the Venti spending time with your host Aether. If Venti was over there then....who is the one talking to you?
When the two of you passed by Diluc he stalked from afar to observe you and "Venti" fighting slimes and exterminating hilichurl camps. While observing he imagines the one fighting beside you was him, slashing any enemy going too close to you and saving you when your health bar goes low. Sadly, dreams are just dreams, and somehow this thing was the one doing what he wants. He freezes when "Venti" suddenly shifted to Kaeya when a pyro slime was approaching the both of you.
The sight of his brother fighting alongside you...he feels his scowl deepen. Was it mocking him? It must have known he was stalking the both of you, why else would it shift to Kaeya conveniently after Diluc was done daydreaming of fighting with you? He couldn't stand the sight of Kaeya being with you and quietly left back to Monstadt. He seems to be more focused on serving the visitors of Angels Share because he was ignoring anything and everything that wasn't related to his work. he didn't even bat an eye at Venti who was sobbing about an impostor stealing you away, chugging a bottle of wine while slurring out words of heartbreak and woe.

The Golden Child Part IV
SAGAU & Impostor AU where the reader is the child of the actual creator.
Warnings: Blood, crying blood, mention of abduction and terrorism.
If you haven't read part 3 yet, you can find it here.
Please understand that I won't add new people to the taglist as it has become way too large now. I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
Tumblr media
The acting Grand Sage was having a very, very busy week.
With his resignation coming soon, he wanted to finish every document that needed his immediate attention; somehow, his shift was never enough to finish everything on time.
Piles of documents that never seemed to end. Countless people needed his help that went from the most mundane things to twisted crimes that needed the immediate intervention from the Matra. In any case, once he started his working hours, there was no time to waste.
So, that was why the presence of the man in front of him managed to irk him greatly. There was enough time to be a nuisance at home, why did Kaveh feel the need to come bother him at work?
"But I'm telling you!" The blonde exclaimed. "There's definitely something weird about it!"
He sighed. "Well then, did it look like that child was being held against their will?"
"Well, no, but—"
"Then there's nothing I can do. The most I can offer is to send a Matra to investigate and/or interrogate that Lord. For all you know, they could simply be an Eremite's child."
Kaveh wanted to tell him that no, that wasn't the case, but in reality he didn't know that. There was just a feeling, a strange sensation that made him think that there must be something more about them. Kidnapped, an Eremite's child, the illegitimate Lord's child... No option sat well with him.
If Alhaitham saw that child, would he share Kaveh's thoughts?
Fuck it. If Alhaitham didn't want to help him, then he would investigate this matter himself.
Just as he was about to curse his roommate and storm away, the grand doors opened with a loud bang. Before seeing who intruded like that, they first heard the loud gasps and whispers of the scholars outside his office.
"Alhaitham!" The voice of a particular forest watcher resonated around the room. Both him and Kaveh were taken aback at the sight of the newcomers. They were bloody, beaten up, with bandages loosely covering certain areas of their bodies as if they only did it to stop the bleeding and not for properly treating the wounds. Collei was supporting both her weight and Tighnari's, as she was helping him stand and walk. "We need your help!"
The fact that Tighnari didn't refer to him as 'acting Grand Sage' denoted alarming urgency. He quickly rose from his seat and called for immediate medical help. Kaveh ran to his friend's side, gently removing him from Collei and letting him use his own body as support, earning a thankful glance from the girl. The wounds in his body started to bleed again, soaking the bandages and some of Kaveh's clothes in the process.
"What happened to you?!" The blonde asked in a panic.
Collei was still taking deep breaths, exhausted for having to carry her mentor all the way to Sumeru City. "The Ville! We were attacked!"
Alhaitham opened his eyes all the way thanks to his surprise. How come the Gandharva Ville had been attacked and he was only finding out now? By the look of the injuries, he guessed it must've happened yesterday.
"Wow, calm down! Breathe first." Kaveh said. "Explain what happened."
As the medic of the Akademiya arrived and started to treat Tighnari, Collei composed herself and started to explain everything from the beginning.
She told them about the child in the forest that was attacked by Eremites, with their family presumably dead by the Eremite's hands. How Tighnari heard them and immediately appeared to help the kid, safely escorting them to the Gandharva Ville so they could decide what to do next. She also explained how those mercenaries came back for revenge, attacking their Ville and abducting the child once every fighter was down.
Her words shocked the blonde. He looked at his roommate, half in disbelief that his own suspicions turned out to be true.
"You say they took them? Grabbed them and disappeared into the forest?"
"Yes, yes... I was knocked out and they managed to get to them...!" Collei cried. "You have to do something! Those Eremites killed their family and now have kidnapped them!"
The grand doors opened once again, and Tighnari and Kaveh both breathed a sigh of relief at the figure standing in the doorway.
The general Mahamatra had arrived.
"I heard there was a commotion here." Cyno spoke. Tighnari greeted him by saying his name, which made the newcomer turn his attention to him. When he laid his eyes upon the wounded fox hybrid and saw how beaten up he was, his blood boiled with deep rage. "What happened?"
Sensing danger from the short man, Alhaitham quickly composed himself and started to explain the situation. This didn't seem to help Cyno calm down. In fact, every word he spoke only served to fuel his anger.
"We must do something then. That child must be in danger." The general said. "We must rescue them. I'll also arrange for the other matras to track down and hunt those Eremites that raided the Ville."
Tighnari nodded. "Let's go."
"YOU won't go. The 'we' I was talking about is composed of Alhaitham, the Matra and I."
"What?!" Kaveh, Tighnari and Collei cried in unison.
"Regarding the seriousness of the situation, it's only natural that this matter is solved within members of the Matra and Akademiya." Alhaitham explained. "It could be extended to inhabitants of the Gandharva Ville, but the only thing they need now is a good doctor and a lot of rest."
"No way!" Tighnari shouted. "I have to get them back! I have to, I have to..."
His voice faded into intelligible mumbles, repeating again and again the same words. This was the first time Cyno had seen his best friend like this. What could have happened to make him act this way? Those damned Eremites... He would make sure they paid for what they've done.
Alhaitham and the grand general were quick to exit the office and start gathering people to accompany them to Alcazarzaray.
This matter had to be settled right now.
One of the people present also made his way to the exit, only that she did in the complete opposite way.
.
You were feeling very, very warm.
It was as if a giant marshmallow was enveloping you, gently offering a comfortable space to rest while you dozed off with a sense of security.
Suddenly, hand rested on your head, carefully caressing your hair in a loving manner. You opened your eyes, only to find a silhouette cradling you and watching you with hearts on their eyes.
"Keep sleeping, stardust." A soothing voice came out of their lips. "Once you wake, I won't get to hold you like this again."
The sadness in their tone made your heart ache. You gently raised your hand and rested it on their cheek, smiling when they wore a surprised expression.
"Tata..." You whispered. "Papa said they took you..."
You tried to keep smiling, you were seeing your parent again! But the thought of everything that happened only fueled the pain in your chest, making you let a sob out before starting to fully crying.
Your parent stopped the caressing to instead hug you tightly. Whispered sweet words in your ear. "You're too young for everything's that happening. How I wish I could still be hugging you in reality, and not just in this dream."
So this was a dream. Well, it didn't matter. This was the place your parent was, where you could touch them once again.
"Why did they do it...?" You could only ask between sobs.
You could hear your tata let a sigh. Both them and your father had tried to explain everything to you, at least the best they could to a little child. But maybe all you needed right now was the truth.
"I'm the one who created this world." They spoke. With a wave of their hand, something akin to stardust was born from it. It made you giggle a little. "And as such, I also wanted to live here as a mortal like everyone. Like your father, like you."
You looked into their eyes and saw all the love they had for you.
"I descended in a new body, with no powers and no memory. But the mortals and gods... Over time, they became obsessed with the idea of me. Of a being of pure love, power, and divinity. Being in a mortal body, I possessed none of that, so it was only natural that they thought I was an impostor trying to deceive them."
With each word, their tone became more and more solemn. "They... killed my body, so I now return to be a deity unapproachable by any of them. Any, except for you."
They kissed your nose gently.
"You are my child, my flesh and blood, and though I had a mortal body when you were conceived, my divinity still flows in you."
Their fingers brushed the cut in your arm, the one you got when you protected your father back in the Chasm. You averted your eyes from it. It only served to remind you what you lost that day.
"I want nothing more than destroy this world and the people in it for everything they've done to their own creator. But..."
Strangely enough, those words filled with hatred did not worry you in the slightest. Was it because it was your parent who said them? "But...?" You trailed on.
"But you and him still live here. And I do not wish for you both to feel anything remotely close to what I've experienced."
The hug enveloping you became a little tighter, as if your tata was trying to heal all their pain by embracing you.
It was a silent promise. One that said that as long as you both were alive, then the world would remain untouched.
"I miss you." You whispered, hiding your face in their chest.
"I miss you too, stardust. I hope you both live your life to the fullest before finally being reunited again. I love you."
You felt a warm and gentle kiss on your forehead and raised your head to see your parent one last time only to find a pillow resting above you, right where your tata had been. You let a sad sigh at the sight of an unknown bedroom and strange bed.
So, it really was just a dream. But it felt so real... you could still feel the tenderness of their touch and the tingle their lips left on your skin. How you missed your family...
Looking at the window in front of the bed, you noticed that the sun was already starting to set. It seemed that you fell asleep crying in your aunt's arms, how embarrassing. But to sleep all day? It really showed how your situation was exhausting your little body.
There was a small table at your right side with a plate of food on it. There was a note attached to it, with your name written on the upside. You took it and tried to read it, but the handwriting was very different from your parent's. You recognized some letters, but the words were pretty confusing.
Still, even if you couldn't read it, it left a warm feeling in your chest knowing that Dori cared enough to leave you some food and a little note for the moment you woke up.
With the piece of paper in your hand, you rushed to your backpack and took the stuffed animal from the inside, putting both items on the bed. They were your treasures now.
If only you had something from your father as well...
Opting to occupy your mind to not get sad, you tried to approach the table with the snack before a loud bang resonated around the entire palace. It seemed that someone was knocking on the front door, really hard.
As you tried to peek outside the room to see what was going on, you were surprised when Dori quickly came in and pushed you inside, closing the door behind her.
"Auntie? What's happening?" You asked with a slight tremble on your voice. Had trouble come again? Could those people from Liyue have finally found you?
"Ah, that? It's nothing. Probably the Matra trying to arrest me again for 'alleged' scams." She laugh, clearly unbothered by the whole situation. "What do you have there?"
You looked where she was pointing, right at your stuffed animal. "Oh! That's my favorite plush. Tata made it for me for my last birthday."
She smiled and picked it up in her hands. "Look at this cute thing! Handmade goods tend to sell pretty well."
Dori put the plush back where it was and turned to face you.
"Well, I see that you still haven't eaten. What do you say we have dinner together? The chef prepares the best dishes in all Teyvat!"
You giggled. "Okay!"
"Sweet! Then we—"
She stopped in the middle of the sentence as the sound of the main doors opening filled the mansion. This set her right on edge, as the butler had strict orders to not open the door to anybody, not even for the Matra or Grand Sage himself. She pressed herself to the door of the room to hear what was happening in the main hall.
"Aunt Dori?" You were confused by the sudden change of demeanor. You grabbed the stuffed animal and held it to your chest, trying to get some sense of comfort.
"Shh." She motioned for you to remain silent, so you did. Voices could be heard, and even the distressed wails of the butler resonated around the halls. Whatever was happening, it was undoubtedly bad.
Dori looked at you, which made you startle a little. "Did something happen back with the Eremites?" She asked.
"Um, well..." You trailed off, nervous. "Back in the forest, a boy from a place called Gandharva Ville found me first. He brought me back with him, and those mercenaries had to attack the city because of that misunderstanding."
She pushed her head back as the voices got louder, undoubtedly investigating the mansion in the search of something. Someone.
"Fuck, those idiots didn't even bother to tell me anything. No wonder even the Grand Sage is here." The woman mumbled under her breath. She sighed and looked back at you. "Change of plans. We have to hide, or else I'll be imprisoned for terrorism and kidnapping. Those are things I don't plan to add to my record. "
Oh no, was this your fault? Was now your aunt in trouble because you didn't go with the Eremites right away? First, the nice people in the Ville were attacked, and now Dori was going to be blamed for it.
"Quick! Let's go through the secret passage!"
She locked the door behind her and rushed to the bed, pushing it to separate the furniture from the wall. You quickly gathered the plush and the letter and put them in the backpack before helping Dori move the bed. There was a different color right where the headboard rested, and the merchant wasted no time in tearing the wallpaper to reveal a small door beneath.
The Matra was getting closer, so Dori was in a hurry to get you both out of the house. She motioned for you to go first, so you crossed the small passage while she stayed behind temporarily to move back the bed to where it was.
You found yourself back at the gardens, just at the back of the manor away from the people that were surrounding the perimeter. Nobody seemed to have spotted you yet, so you waited for Dori to crawl from the secret passage before running away.
"Stay low. These guys are the real deal here." She whispered before taking your hand in hers and guiding you through the less visible parts of the lot.
You were almost at the entrance of the forest when a member of the Matra spotted you two and quickly gave the signal to his associates.
"There! They're trying to escape using the southern exit!"
It wasn't long before the rest of the Matra started to mobilize in your direction. Dori opted to stop hiding and run as fast as you could, as a last attempt to lose the officials.
You almost managed to reach the edge of the forest when the ground rose in front of you, forming a pillar made of dirt and stones that blocked the path ahead.
"Stop! Lord Sangemah Bay, you are under arrest!"
Turning around, a member of the Matra with a Geo vision was the culprit of your dead end. He was concentrating on maintaining the pillar as the General Mahamatra made his way towards you. Dori put you behind her, which didn't really help to cover you as your heights were not so far away.
"Lord Sangemah Bay." Greeted Cyno, though his voice was filled with nothing but disdain. "I knew you were a scammer, but I'd have never thought of you a terrorist. Have anything to say about this?"
She furrowed her brows but otherwise remained silent. So, he instead looked at you.
"So this is the kid that made you even attack Gandharva Ville to capture. Who is this? Why are you keeping them?"
You wanted to answer him, but the hold Dori had on your hand suddenly felt tighter as if she was silently telling you to keep quiet. Cyno sighed, knowing that he would not get anything out of the pair.
"I see how it is. You both will have to come with the Matra then."
The breeze picked up strongly.
A powerful burst of wind almost knocked Cyno off his feet; he even had to summon his polearm and nail it to the ground to remain in his place. Dirt and leaves started floating from everywhere, and you had to cover your eyes to avoid hurting them.
Only when everything calmed down you ventured to open them once again. You were now facing the back of a small man, with black and green hair and light green tattoos in the visible skin in his arms.
You had a very, very bad feeling about this guy; for the clothing he bore told everyone present that he was foreign to their nation.
"I'm afraid I can't allow to take this child with you."
The stranged summoned his own weapon; a jade colored polearm materialized in his hand as he took a more defensive stance.
"I know you." Cyno spoke. He regained his balance and also held his spear in his hands. "Liyue seems to be pretty far away from here, don't you think?"
Liyue.
This man was here to take you back. Because you were your parent's child, wasn't it? They wanted the child born from the divinity they were obsessed with.
Oh no, no, no, no...
You took one step backward but instantly froze when the boy turned his head to look at you the moment your foot touched the ground. His golden eyes bore right into yours, as if he was nothing more than a predator waiting for the best chance to strike.
However, he promptly returned his attention to the general when he saw that you were no longer moving.
"Heed my words, for this is the only warning I'll offer, mortal. Forget everything about this child, for they are now under the eternal custody of Liyue and the Geo Archon."
Cyno frowned. He still didn't understand the situation that well, but something about you was so special that even the Rex Lapis himself was sending his own acolytes to fetch them. Now, the attack on the Ville made more sense.
He didn't know who you could possibly be, but from the looks of it, you were terrified at the sight of the adeptus. Was this another kidnapping? For a god to step so low...
If anything, he only knew that you didn't want to go with him. So, you should stay here. Right where the Matra could protect you.
He took one step in the adeptus' direction, but the same strong wind from before returned and threatened to send him flying. He could only discern a green stream quickly making his way to where you were standing before vanishing, with the wind closely behind.
When he was able to get the dirt out of his eyes, only the sight of his fellow matra remained. Xiao was gone; you were too. He didn't see the Lord either, but he stopped paying them attention early on. Maybe they took this chance to escape the Matra and avoid any questioning.
His coworkers were quick to offer a hand; two of them helped him stand while the rest immediately started a search party for both Dori and the missing child.
Liyue, huh?
He had to report this to the acting Grand Sage.
There is no justice in letting a handful of people have his way with a kid. He would rescue them, even if he had to cross the whole land to get there.
.
"Isn't the weather beautiful today?"
The Fatui soldier didn't voice her answer, only nodded to maintain her silence. She had her head hanging low, for she was paying respect to the man in front of her.
You had to be always careful when in the presence of Dottore, after all.
"A little bird told me something funny today." His deep tone made chills run down her spine. His silhouette in front of the window gave an ominous feeling, the weather displaying a colorful battle of blue, purple, and yellow thanks to the storm outside. "It appears that the Creator themself descended a few years ago!"
"H-huh?!" She could not help the gasp of surprise that left her mouth but quickly returned to her position of submission when the mad man turned to see her.
Instead of getting angry, he smiled creepily. "Just as you hear. Our Divine Grace finally returned to this world, only that they did in a mortal body. That impostor that every soul on Teyvat made their goal to catch? It turned out to be the real and mighty Overlord!"
The Fatui raised her head in disbelief, watching him as he laughed like a maniac.
"But Liyue was the lucky winner; they managed to grab them and display their headless body for every habitant to see!" He took one step closer to the glass, smiling every time lightning illuminated the scenery. "It's just now that the other nations are finding this out... Inazuma might've been the first, as the only thing covering the skies are the mournful thunder and lightning from the lady that holds their power. Ah, she truly must feel like her heart is being ripped out at these news!"
As if agreeing with him, the sky roared a few times.
"She can grieve all she wants. Morax could've been the executioner, but the rest of them also raised their weapons and didn't hesitate to hurt the Divine One even when they claimed innocence asked for mercy."
She didn't know what to say. Was this true? Their almighty god, their benevolent and loving one... Had already descended and was killed because people simply didn't believe it?
"This is going to be fun." Dottore hummed. "I almost can't wait for when the other archons discover what transpired. Will they unleash their fury and sorrow upon Liyue? Hehe, I sure hope this storm marks the beginning of the end."
He turned around and started to exit the room, but not before giving the soldier under him his last command.
"Wait for the next ship to Snezhnaya to deliver a letter. Inform the Tsaritsa that even though her efforts to reach our Divine One to aid them were hindered by the other archons, this time we can all protect the most precious gift they've left for us."
She looked at him quizzically but made no comment to refuse him.
"That's right." He laughed. "We'll take care of them while the rest of the world crumbles and destroys itself..."

Your hands linger on his for a moment.
Scaramouche does his best not to overthink it, despite the position the two of you are in. His heart stutters where it sits in his chest, an unsteady beat pounding in his ears.
All he can hear is your breath and the sound of his own heartbeat. It's a struggle to keep himself contained— the soft flesh of your hands brushing against his own, the way you hover ever so slightly above him. Already, he finds himself uncharacteristically weak.
But it's your words that bring him to his knees so easily.
"You're so lovely," you say softly in his ear. He feels his resolve, already beaten and bruised, crumple a little more.
A shiver tiptoes down his spine and comfortably nestles itself in his lungs, as if it was always meant to be there. All of his breath is lost in one moment, a sudden swelling of warmth pooling in his chest.
Scaramouche reprimands himself for being unable to keep his strength, but your words echo in his mind as if they are the only thing worthy enough to settle there.
To him, they are. You are the only one who has yet to abandon him.
The fear still chokes him at times, all-consuming and overwhelming. One day, you will disappear like fine dust in the air; one day, he will search for you, and even if he ran until his legs gave out— even if he dug until his nails bled, he would still be unable to find you.
All who he cares about will one day leave him. To think you are the exception is to not to spare himself of agony, to imagine for one second that he has found his peace— but to enhance it.
One day, you will be embers, and he will be without you. You will abandon him, and leave him wretched and wanting.
But yet, your hands still coil around his hair. Your breath still hangs heavy in the air, and he can feel the warmth of your lap beneath his head. You are here with him, still breathing, not yet gone.
You are above him, still whispering sweet nothings in his ear as if he is deserving.
"Stay with me a little longer, okay?" You ask, with the same sweet voice he has grown far too used to. But his heart still churns at the sound of it, and his legs will always continue to beckon him forward if he knows you are what awaits him.
You ask as if he would have ever thought of saying no.
Scaramouche only wants to lie a little longer in your embrace. For a brief moment, he can hide himself beside you, protected from every bad thought. For a brief moment, he can pretend that he is somewhat deserving of your touch.
"My good boy," you laugh. It's a gentle thing; softly slithering in the air like an asp, quick to burrow in his skull. He's quick to hide his face in his hands, quick to wonder just how much weaker he can get for you.

Cult AU! and the weird? things the acolytes do in your teapot
Summary: Miscellaneous headcannons about Sagau/Cult AU in the serenetea pot!
Warnings: Yandere, mention of nsfw, religious themes. As always, please let me know if I missed anything!
Also, reblogs and comments are always welcome and GREATLY appreciated! <3
To start, the travelers bed/room:
I think you know where this is going.
Your acolytes claim that there is this “Holy aura” or something in that space, since the traveler spends most of their time there. Since the traveler is your main vessel, their aura feels similar, if not exactly the same as yours. The poor traveler has to keep their room locked whenever they aren’t there to prevent any of the other acolytes from either taking things, or doing gross stuff with the items in their room. Especially with their bed. Let’s just say that that specific piece of furniture has been through a lot.
Flower beds in the serenetea pot:
Insert character standing by flower beds like:
👹 none shall touch these 👹
Nope, they totally did not just hiss at somebody who got too close!
They don’t take it well if even a single petal is out of place, because you would be so disappointed! You obviously put them there to protect your plants, and they failed you. Cue a LOT of offerings and desperate pleading in front of one of your shrines for forgiveness. Others may think that they were overreacting, but your opinion of them means so much more than weird stares of onlookers. Is this why they haven’t been on your team lately? They’ll make it up to you, they promise, so please don’t hate them!
They wouldn’t be able to bear it.
Special rooms dedicated to a certain char: ex: occupation/character themed, or furniture sets.
They can’t help but get exited, you made this just for them. With them in mind. This means you were thinking of them. They cherish anything and everything in that area, regardless if it’s scattered papers or an expensive decoration. If you were in the teapot, you might spot them dreamily staring into space, talking about you to themselves when they are in that spot. Just be careful not to walk in on them “heavily appreciating” their area. This is the third time this month the traveler has had to clean it, and they assure you its nothing you’d want to see.
Just ignore the heavy breathing coming from over there. Wouldn’t you like to spend time with the traveler instead?
If your whole teapot is nation themed.
The archons are having a field day.
Since you choose to decorate the whole teapot as their country, this means that you like it. And by extension, them. They WILL NOT get rid of their smug grin when the other archons get invited to your teapot.
If your teapot is Mondstadt themed, you already know Venti is out there being an absolute menace. The sheer amount of teasing and snide comments would be enough to break anyone’s composure. There has been many cases in which a meteor was almost sent down within the teapot. Since then, Tubby created a rule book. Number one: No great mass of elemental power will be used inside the teapot, for general safety of guests and The Creator’s decorations.
If your teapot is Inazuma themed, Ei wouldn’t be as verbal about her obvious superiority, but her thoughts are clear through her expressions and actions. Perhaps another archon is talking about an architectural style native to their region. She would huff, and make an effort to show them it’s Inazuman counterpart, which was featured in the Creator’s serenetea pot. “Since the Creator favors this style, maybe you should make an effort to change your own to their preferences?”
If your teapot is Liyue themed, Zhongli would be proud. Proud of his nation, and all that has come from it. Not only have you decorated the whole pot in the image of Liyue, but you are using the serenetea pot itself, an adeptial device. Even if you were to redecorate it as another region, you are still using and loving the serenetea pot, which is enough to bring a smile to his face. It truly is a shame that the other nations don’t have the technology to give you a gift you actually appreciate.

Part Two: Just a Bite

Lilywood's leader is easily the most charming man you've met, which makes it all the more easier for you to say yes to all his suggestions, no matter what they are.
Content Warning: Cult Leader!Steve Rogers x Reader, mature themes, mention of a wounded animal, mention of blood, hard drug use, sexual language, dub!con (sexual acts while under the influence of drugs), handjob, fingering, cheating.

Tumblr media
"These are fucking delicious," You moan as you bite into May's lemon bar, before your eyes widen. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry for cursing."
Steve chuckles softly as he turns into a country road. "Don't worry about it, sweetheart," He says lowly, his voice sending a shiver down your spine.
Sitting up, you bite your lip, not wanting to offend him but still curious about the rules May and Happy mentioned. "I know that this month is sacred to you guys - I'm guessing no cursing is one of the rules?" You wonder.
"It's a small rule," He replies before shooting you a wink. "And small rules are made to be broken."
His calm, casual nature takes you by surprise. You were expecting the mayor, or whatever his title is, to be a little more high strung, but Steve isn't anything like the controlling patriarch you thought he would be.
Looking out the window, you take in the gorgeous views of the midday sun above the grassy hills. "This town is beautiful," You sigh wistfully, comparing it to the rough, polluted city you call home with a grimace.
"It is," He agrees. "I'm proud of my home."
You turn to face him and ask, "Were you born here?"
"Yes, I was," Steve confirms. "Lilywood is all I've ever known. Don't get me wrong; I've travelled and seen the world, but nothing compares. What about you, little one? Where have you come from?"
"Uh, Florida. Miami, to be exact," You reveal.
"Ah. That old place," He says with a smile. "I bet you don't get views like this out there, do you?"
"Definitely not," You reply with a soft laugh. "The beaches are nice, though."
"I bet they are," Steve mumbles, turning his head to look at you. "What do you do for work?"
"I'm a tour guide," You tell him. "It's a lot of fun, but also a lot of socializing. I'm happy to be away from it for a couple of weeks."
"Commendable work," He says, and you feel an odd sense of pride from his approval. "Is that full time? Do you freelance, or...?"
"Oh yeah, I choose when I work so it's great," You say with a smile. "I can take days off whenever, pick up extra shifts if I need to. It works out perfectly."
"Wow. You know, being in control of your own life like that, of your own time? That's freedom. That's living," Steve says. "And that's exactly the kind of culture we cultivate here in Lilywood." He takes another turn down a country road. "We get our fair share of visitors, and a lot of them see me, my role as leader here, and they assume I'm controlling. As if I, a simple man, could have the capacity to control over almost a hundred adults. They think we live this way because the people of Lilywood are ruled by me, but that's not true. All I ever want is for my people to be empowered. To have their own free will, their own sense of being."
You nod, completely entranced by the man. "Absolutely. And those people are wrong. I could tell that May and Happy absolutely adore you, and that's a testament to your leadership."
He turns to you, smiling warmly. "I appreciate that, little one," He utters, looking deeply into your eyes. Before you can blink, the car slams into something heavy, making you scream. You lurch forward, but thankfully your seatbelt stops you from flying into the windscreen.
"Shit!" You exclaim, breathing heavily as Steve immediately stops the car.
"You okay?" He asks calmly, waiting until you nod before undoing his seatbelt. "Stay here."
You watch as he leaves the truck, stepping out and walking over to the side of the road. Unable to quell your curiosity, you get out of the car as quietly as you can, nervously walking around to the front until you see what he hit.
A deer lays at Steve's feet, wounded and bleeding. You can't help but gasp, heartbroken for it. Steve crouches down, places his hand against the deer's chest, silently waiting for a few moments before turning his head to the side. "She's alive," He says, bringing you some relief. Standing back up, he turns to you with a grave look on his face. "But she's in pain. I need to end her suffering."
"No!" You gasp, shaking your head. "There must be something we can do-"
"It's too late for her," Steve cuts you off sternly.
"She's still breathing, isn't she?" You retort. "We can't give up on her yet. Isn't there a vet in this town, or something?"
He remains silent for a few moments, staring at you while seemingly deep in thought. Finally, he lets out a huff. "I know where we can take her," He sighs, filling you with relief.
You step forward to offer your assistance in getting the deer in the back of the truck, but Steve manages to lift her up and carry her all by himself. Though it's a traumatic situation, you can't help but note how strong he is. He barely breaks a sweat as he lays her down in the back, a firm look on his face that sends a shiver down your spine.
He nods towards the truck and says, "Get in."

Pearl Coyne's cabin is deep in the Lilywood forest. Surrounded by huge trees, it sits large in front of a lake, where fish jump up and glide down the rocky stream. The inside of her home is small, but by no means empty. Every surface has something shiny sitting on it, and every wall is covered in pictures and paintings from ceiling to floor. Trinkets fill the shelves and glass cabinets, and there's a strong smell of lavender wafting in from one of the back rooms.
"You're not allergic to anything, are you? Any spices, or plants?" She asks you with a frown while pulling up her glasses from her chest where they hang from a chain up to the bridge of her nose, looking you up and down. Her red hair is messy, with several different sized plaits hanging down, some with beads and others with feathers woven in. She's dressed in multicolored layers, with an emerald green cotton dress on top of an array of shirts. Around her neck is a necklace just like May's and Happy's, but Pearl has a gold bead on hers like the ones on Steve's. Something about her aura makes you feel safe; the same way you feel around Steve. When you shake your head no, her smile widens. "Wonderful. I won't have to worry about my incense or other ingredients troubling you."
"Pearl, the deer," Steve reminds her curtly, his forehead creased with stress.
"Yes, yes, I'm going!" Pearl exclaims with a small grin. "Don't you worry, Steven; Maxine will be just fine."
You note that she seems very comfortable around him; she isn't afraid of insulting him or being impolite, whereas May and Happy were terrified of doing so. You also note that she's named all the deer in Lilywood and can somehow recognise them, or at least the one Steve hit.
"Now, you two make yourselves at home. This may take a while," She says, giving you a nod before walking into the back room where Steve lay the deer down onto a large steel table which made it seem like this happens often. Her jewellery makes a soft jingling sound while she moves, until she's out of sight.
"Pearl's the best healer in Lilywood," Steve tells you, before holding his hand out to you. "Come. Let us, as she instructed, make ourselves at home."
It should feel odd for you to be holding a strange man's hand, but it only feels natural for him to guide you through to a small room. Two couches sit opposite each other and a table is between them, covered in paraphernalia that doesn't look entirely legal.
"She creates all her own medicine, using pure, Lilywood-grown ingredients," He informs you while you look around the room. Something tells you it isn't exactly painkillers and cough syrup she sells.
Steve watches you while you walk around, looking at the oddities that fill the room. One shelf is stacked with small bottles of a clear liquid, and it's above a glass cabinet which holds more bottles of different colored liquids. They're each labeled, but only with a single image. Some have an image of an animal on them, while others have flowers and trees. Against another wall is a bookshelf filled with books and magazines, none of which you recognize the title or authors of.
"You're a curious little creature, aren't you?" Steve asks you from where he's leaning against the only bare bit of wall. A smile plays on his lips, and you can't help but mirror it.
"I've never seen anything like this place," You admit, feeling foolish for saying it. "I'm used to minimalism, and... white walls."
"Ah, yes, the city: where they claim culture lives," He says teasingly, shaking his head. "I've been in those kinds of homes. The white paint, the grey furniture, the lack of spirit... it's nauseating. Suffocating. There's no space to be, you know?"
"I know exactly what you mean," You say, nodding. "There's no character in those houses. No personality."
Steve nods, walking over to a shelf which holds small black bottles. "Come here, little one," He utters, waiting for you to join him before continuing. "Have you ever felt alive? I mean, truly alive? Like every single nerve in your body is being stimulated, all at once? Like you're entirely awake, fully conscious?"
You take in his query and think about it before answering him. "I had a near-death experience when I was seventeen. It was summer, me and my friends were diving off a cliff. A few of the guys were already down at the bottom when it was my turn. I hesitated a little, and one of the girls got impatient, so she decided to push me off. The whole way down, I thought that was it. I was too close to the rocks," You recount the story, able to see it in your mind. "I somehow landed in the water. One of the guys that was already down there said my head was millimeters away from hitting the rocks and splitting open. But when I emerged from the water, I wasn't angry at the girl for pushing me, or scared at all. It was exhilarating. I just felt..."
"Alive," Steve finishes with a whisper. You nod. Without another word, he walks over to the coffee table and reaches into what you thought was a pot of potpourri, but most definitely isn't. He beckons you over with his free hand, waiting until you reach him before holding out his offering.
You look down at the mushroom in his fingers and raise a brow. "Is that...?"
"This, sweetheart, is your key to feeling alive again," He claims.
"I don't know," You sigh. "I don't typically get high before midday."
"Trust me, Y/N, this will be an experience like no other," He assures you with a glint in his eye. "Just a bite. Here; I'll go first."
Watching him take a bite makes your skin tingle. When he holds the rest out to you, you feel you have no choice but to take it. And so, you do. Why not? Seeing as he seemed so blasé about taking it, they're probably not that strong. Parting your lips, you allow him to place the fungus on your tongue, and you then begin to slowly chew it.
"That's it," Steve says with a smile. "Now, sit down, and relax. Let me know if you need any water."
Ten minutes pass - or has it been an hour? - and you feel like you're out of your body. You feel numb and detached, but simultaneously as though you're feeling everything at once.
"You okay?" Steve asks from his seat next to you, his voice deeper than usual. Turning to face him, you see a purple mist around him, and you can't help but laugh.
"I... I'm high," You utter, suddenly very aware of your breathing.
"Relax," Steve mumbles. "It'll take a few minutes, and then - bliss."
Almost immediately, you feel the room swirl around you. You hear a thousand different conversations between you and Steve, and you aren't sure which, if any of them, actually happen. Your body feels light but you feel like you're sinking into the couch. For a moment, you get a rush of paranoia - are you dying? Will you ever feel normal again?
"Hey," His voice enters your mind like a gust of wind. When Steve puts his arm around your shoulders, you feel a sudden spark. Taking in a deep breath, you feel more like yourself again, and you're entirely relieved.
"Thank you," You breathe out, looking up into his eyes. "For being so kind. And... for making me feel safe."
"I make you feel safe?" He asks lowly, stroking your cheek.
"You do," You admit. "I think it's your aura. I can see it, you know. It's purple."
"Ain't that something?" He mumbles with a deep chuckle that vibrates against your body.
A few more moments pass, and then you feel it. A burning in your core. A heat between your legs. In an instant, you're taken over by pure, unrelenting lust.
"Shit," You whisper, resting your hand on his abs.
"Are you okay there, little one?" Steve asks you, placing his hand on your head and gently stroking your hair. With a shiver, you let a mewl, desperation filling you.
"I... I want you, Sir," You say lowly, lowering your hand to his crotch. Feeling him harden, you smile. "I'm so horny."
Steve sighs and takes your hand, moving it onto his thigh. "Now, sweetheart, I know May explained the rules of this sacred month to you. We are not to give into our weaknesses, no matter how badly we want to."
"Please," You whimper, moving closer to him until you're almost on his lap. "I saw you with May earlier. Are you and her having an affair?" Suddenly, you gasp. "Do you fuck all the women here? Are you that kind of leader?"
Laughing softly, he shakes his head. "It's not like that at all. We're very open here in Lilywood. I believe that touch is the most beautiful of our senses," He states, rubbing your cheek with his thumb. "Touching, feeling, getting to know each other. That's how we build bonds."
"Touching," You repeat with a slow nod, before bringing your hand back onto his crotch. "So, let me touch you."
His eyes lock onto yours. "Go ahead, sweetheart," Is all he says, and then he watches. Watches as you unzip his pants and reach into them, rubbing your hand over his hard, throbbing cock. Your heart's beating hard and your stomach flips as you slip your hand beneath his boxers, feeling the flesh of his cock against your palm. Steve clenches his jaw, resting his head back against the couch while you slowly, gently begin to stroke his shaft, up and down, up and down, up and down.
"That's it," He mumbles as his eyes flutter shut. Knowing that you're making him feel good makes your legs squeeze together. Nothing about this feels wrong. It's as though you and Steve are on another planet, all alone, where nothing and nobody else exists.
"Does that feel good, Sir?" You ask him, feeding off his pleasure as it floats in the air and envelops you.
"So good, sweetheart," He groans, placing his big hand on your thigh and gently stroking it. Slowly, he slides his hand under the waistband of your pants and you take in a sharp breath as he starts touching you, circling your clit with his finger.
A wanton moan leaves your mouth, and you don't care if Pearl hears. The effects of the shrooms intensify your pleasure, and you feel your vision blur. "That feels amazing," You hear yourself say, though you aren't sure whether it's out loud or not.
"Don't stop," Steve mumbles into your ear, pushing his finger into your entrance. Your hips buck up as you whimper, fucking yourself on his finger while stroking his dick faster. The two of you moan in unison with your hands down each other's pants. Steve presses several kisses to your neck, making you shiver.
Just as he promised, you feel as though every single nerve in your body is being stimulated. The fire burns from your core and spreads to the tips of your fingers, like a gentle electric current soaring through your veins.
You warn him that you're close, begging him not to stop. You can't be sure that you said the words out loud, but he seems to have understood either way.
"That's it, sweetheart," His warm voice slithers past your ears. "Let go."
Best orgasm ever doesn't even begin to cover it. It doesn't even feel like an orgasm. You can only compare it to that feeling you got that day by the cliffside when you were 17. A rush of adrenaline courses through your veins. It's both icy cold and fiery hot, making your eyes roll back.
With a shiver, you return to yourself and let out a shaky shudder. Your heart pounds and every inch of your skin is tingling with the afterglow. It takes you a few seconds to notice the warm liquid on your hand, and you look down to see Steve's cum coating your skin. His head falls into your neck as he lets out a low groan, his voice vibrating through you.
"Fuck," You whimper, letting go of his semi-hard cock.
Steve lifts up his head and raises a brow, a weak smirk on his lips. "Bad girl," He mutters lowly. "No cursing."
The buzz from the shroom hasn't worn off in the slightest. With a content sigh, you rest your head back against the couch, turning it to face him. You reach out to gently stroke your fingers against his bead necklace. "I want a necklace like that," You mumble. "But I don't want boring white beads like everyone else, I want gold ones like yours."
The corner of his mouth pulls up in a slight smirk. "Don't worry, little one," He begins with his low, smooth voice, leaning forward to brush your hair back. "I'm gonna cover you in gold, from head to toe."
And as he looks deeply into your eyes, you show no signs of sobering up, and don't even think once about where Joaquín is.

Venti: I am the God of Freedom, and the existence of this Divine Creator can threaten my ideal for Mondstadt, which is freedom. I am already chained by Celestia and their stuffy rules. I don't want any wannabe rule over me like those haughty bastards.
Venti: If they tried to interfere with my concept of freedom, I would not hesitate to hunt them down for the safety of Mondstadt.
.
.
.
Venti: But if they decided to bring me those juicy apples and promised to help me with the pranks, I can let them run free and even help them annoy the other Archons.

Who is the real Creator?
To be honest I had no plans of even adding Wanderer but he casually came in and inserted himself into this story and he is here to stay.
-TW: cult au, yandere, impostor au, mentions of being hunted down, mentions of trauma,

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reader woke up with a yawn stretching their limbs and with heavy steps going to the washroom. After they finished their business they turned the stove on to make some tea and prepared breakfast. The morning was rather lovely, the sun was shining again and the birds were chirping and the trees were swaying softly.
They sipped their tea quietly as they watched the scenery outside. With a hum, they packed up their bag with books for today's classes and headed to the Akademiya. One of the perks of being promptly isekai-ed was the instant teleportation. They thought of the teleporter near the Akademiya and white light enveloped their eyes. After a few seconds, the sights changed. Most people had gotten used to their and the traveler's teleportation antics and paid Reader no mind.
They hummed a tune as they headed towards class.
In a rather unexpected surprise, they saw Wanderer, they did not expect to see them today. It looked like he was heading towards them. Reader gave him a wave but their smile fell as they saw the serious expression on his face and not his usual one.
He looked at Reader and nodded.
"I expect you know what this is about, Lesser Lord Kusanali wants to meet you at her office."
Reader tensed and their eyes widened. They tried so hard not to think about yesterday.
The sting of a cut, gold blood, broken old friendships.
They rubbed the thumb they had cut off. Wanderer looked at them with an unreadable expression, he then turned away his head and spoke.
"We can take the longer way so you can get your bearings."
He turned away and started walking. Reader stumbled and could do nothing but follow along. Despite his harsh exterior Reader knew he meant them well. If the situation was not urgent Reader bet Wanderer would have told them to forget it.
Knowing it was a serious matter did not help things. All morning they were in an odd serene calm trying to dissociate from the revelations of yesterday. They rubbed their forehead. Reader hoped they had more time to process the situation and go about their routine before they came to a conclusion or answer or whatever.
All the time while they were walking Wanderer was quiet leaving them to their thoughts. Reader was not familiar with the way to Nahida's office. They must have taken an even longer route as they kept taking certain twists and turns and Reader could swear they entered the same hall as before. It was honestly kind of sweet how he took care of them in his own way.
The sun enveloped his figure causing the decorations on his hat to shine and casting a gentle shadow on his face. Wanderer's face was unreadable but there was something kind in his eyes Reader thought they could see.
Reader sometimes did wonder if he knew it was them who gave him his new name.
Wanderer must have thought he gave enough time for Reader to prepare themselves because they stood still near tall intricately carved double doors. Reader gulped. They did not feel ready at all. Wanderer knocked on the door and Readers heart rate started going faster.
"Please come in."
It was Nahida's voice. It was oddly comforting, perhaps they had gotten too attached to the Archon without Reader knowing it.
Wanderer opened the door and held it open for them. He still had that strange look on his face as he looked at Reader.
As both Wanderer and Reader stood in front of the Archon, Reader took in the office. It was large and spacious and decorated with books (as expected), large glass windows let in the sunlight and it was decorated with plants giving it a welcoming feeling, knowing Nahida it was probably intentional.
Reader tried to distract themselves from the topic that will be discussed. Yet the inevitable would happen.
"I am sure you know what will be discussed so I will cut to the chase," she looked at Reader with a sorry expression, "It will soon be announced that Darling is not the Creator, as you both will know this event will cause wide panic and confusion. I am sad to say this might affect you as well Reader for your safety I hope you will stay here with me until things calm down.
Reader nodded and said nothing further, they could still feel Wanderers staring at them from where he stood. Did. . . he know?
Nahida then stared and Wanderer who took his gaze off Reader to stare back at the Archon. It felt as if both were having a conversation in their minds in the end the Wanderer nodded and left them alone.
Finally, it was just Nahida and Reader.
Reader felt a bit uneasy despite feeling safe next to the archon.
"I know you might need some more time to process what happened yesterday but unfortunately we may not have the time. I want to ask you what you want to do now."
Huh?
At Reader’s confusion, Nahida continued.
“You are the Creator as such you can take your rightful position and rule, you can live in the bigger temples or you can go to other Archons and live with them. Anything you choose I will of course respect.”
Reader was rather dumbfounded. They expected Reader to rule- a rightful position? It really went over their head. They did not want or desire to rule and they had no idea what they would do in a temple Reader was not the ascetic kind. What would they even do in other Archon’s places? Most of them were not kind to Reader.
Nahida was waiting for their reply. Reader wrung their hands and replied.
"Uhh - well, is it okay if I just stay here?"
Nahida blinked.
"Yes of course if that is what you want. Sumeru welcomes you wholeheartedly," she said with a smile.
At that Reader let out a breath and relaxed their shoulders. It seems the daily life that they had built could still be protected.
"Once again I am sorry to say there are still problems that are unsolved namely your identity, I won't force you to reveal it but I do think it is best to tell the acolytes," she said looking regretful.
At that Reader grimaced. Nahida said nothing further and looked and waited for Reader's reply. Reader looked down on their feet.
It would be a smart decision as what they say would have a public sway and it would be best if they were told from the source rather than hear it second hand and later come here and demand answers.
Reader was, still is, scared they were also frustrated. Just for how long are they going to feel like a helpless person? They did not want to continue to run away feeling scared all the time by the people who had wronged them. They should not be the one in hiding and being in fear all the damn time. Reader had enough of running away for a lifetime already.
"Fine they can know but I will be the one to tell them."
At their statement, Nahida looked surprised but she schooled her expression and smiled. She nodded towards them.
"Of course you can, if you need me I will be there with you."
Reader once again relaxed their shoulders and smiled.
"That would be nice thank you."
"There is no need to thank me I would do that for any friend of mine."
Reader's chest felt warm. Honestly, Nahida was just so sweet to them. They felt happy that even in a foreign world they managed to get such a good friend.
"Ohh right since I am telling the acolytes I think I can tell wanderer as a practice run."
"That is a good idea let me get him again he should be waiting outside."
Nahida called over Wanderer who once again stood next to Reader in front of Nahida's desk. Reader glanced at him again and struck while the iron was hot.
"Apparently I am the creator."
Wanderer blinked at them but otherwise said nothing. It was Nahida who spoke.
"How about we take it from the start," she said with a sympathetic expression aimed at the Wanderer.
Reader left Nahida to explain most of it as they had to take a break already from saying the truth and they honestly did not know how to properly explain everything that happened yesterday. By the end of the explanation Wanderer had a thoughtful expression.
"So the real Creator was the one hunted down what a twist of fate," he said and crossed his arms.
He looked a bit contemplative before Reader could say anything Wanderer faced Reader and bent down - no he kneeled.
Reader spluttered and felt like a deer in headlights watching the usually proud Wanderer kneeling.
"H-hey please get up there is no need-"
"I apologize for my earlier behavior it was unbecoming to act in such a manner in front of you, our golden lightning. I hope I did not offend you."
"Wait please get up this is so uncomfortable!"
After Reader said that wanderer got up and did not face them directly. Reader swallowed their saliva and tried to think why Wanderer had such a one-eighty in their personality. They did not think Wanderer would care about the Creator or the status of it from how they talked they were wrong by the looks of it.
To make such a prideful person kneel on a flip of a switch. . .
Once again they had no idea what the weight of the Creator was and what it held for the people of Teyvat.
"I understand I am sorry for the distress I may have caused you," he said and put a hand on his chest and looked down to the floor.
Reader gulped.
"P-please just act as usual, I- you," they paused trying to think of the right words, "When I first came here I was a mess and you helped me, I am the one who should be bowing."
"Please don't it was the least I could do for you as the Creator. Back then if I should have done more."
Reader hated this. When they wanted to tell wanderer they did not expect it to turn out this way. They did not want this weird worship and formal attitude.
"Please stop I don't want this, Not any of this. I wanted you to know because I see you as a friend," they said and clenched their hands.
Wanderer looked surprised at the admission, almost as if taken aback. Reader would have laughed at his face if the tension was not thick. He looked down for a bit and then back at Reader again.
"I will be honest I am not sure how I am supposed to reply, you are our Creator the one we all worship, yet you consider me out of all people a friend. . ."
He trailed off and Reader wanted to retort.
"Of course, I do, when I first came I was a mess and you still took care of chores around the house and bought groceries even if it was on Nahida's orders but you still did it all without complaint and you taught me a lot which you did not have to - all this to say you are a dear friend of me so please don't act so formal and weird. You are a precious person to me and I hope you think of me at least as a friend."
After they were done with their spiel they took a deep breath realizing they were out of air. Wanderer lowered his hat his face obscured but Reader could faintly see his face being red.
. . .
Oh-.
Reader felt the blood rush to their face and they looked away.
Nahida who had watched it all laughed quietly.
"I must say I am quite jealous of you now. You know Hat Guy, it's not every day the Creator themselves expresses their gratitude like this."
At the mention of the silly nickname, Reader relaxed and also laughed.

Okay but what about an imposter au with an isekied!creator!reader who suffer from depression, like reader is already depressed but seeing their favorites characters hating them and wanting them dead makes reader even more depressed
At some point reader just give up and decide to let people kill them but Tevyat just don't leave them because, u know, is the creator
And even when all the mess is clarified and the hunting ends the creador!reader is still depressed (obviously, depresion is not something that goes away over night) and now the acolyotes has to handle the fact that the creator almost never talks with them, barely goes out and even want to kill themselfs
I like that idea, I think i will write it!

Headcanons for sibling scara with an affectionate reader who pinches and kisses his cheek just because he’s cute and likes picking him up?
SAGAU: THE GOD OF TEYVAT WONT LET GO OF ME PLEASE SEND HELP-
Tumblr media
❀ synopsis: you are the clingy one, and you so happen to be a god with super strength. how do the three different phases of Scaramouche handle the situation?
❀ notes: this was supposed to be sibling headcanons but then realized just how ambiguous I made the relationship between the reader and Scaramouche. So this can be implied as romantic or platonic, or if this is regular genshin or sagau.
❀ pronouns: they/them
Tumblr media
Kabukimono with a clingy God reader: Omg, he is so overwhelmed with joy and embarrassment, please give him a minute to process his emotions. If you picked him up in private he would immediately wrap his arms around you to try and hug you. He would even request for you to spin him around if you didn't do so yet. In public, though he would short-circuit and shyly ask for you to please put him down, if you don't he will do his best to shrink in your clothing if he sees any of the villagers staring.
Pinching his cheeks is a different story, it was ok at first but then he grew to not like them. Mostly because it feels weird if you do it, and maybe even painful if you're not gentle enough. He would pout before (gently) slapping your hand away before you can pinch his cheeks. But then he would realize what he did before hugging and affirming how sorry he was and you can pinch his cheeks as much as you want please don't leave him alone-
Tumblr media
Scaramouche with a clingy God reader: Soft moments are over, have a scummy Scaramouche to replenish your palette. He enjoys the affection, but only in private. If you are taller than him he would be even more frustrated with how you can easily sweep him off his feet and pick him up. His face bloomed a deep shade of red as he demands that you put him down immediately. If you did this in front of any of his subordinates he will feel a huge chunk of his pride die inside of him.
Similar to when he was Kabukimono he wouldn't like the cheek pinching. While pinching his cheeks he will just give you this look that says "You-will-forget-what-its-like-to-eat-solid-food-if-you-don't-let-go-of-my-cheek", but he soon learns to appreciate the small piece of affection and even mimic your actions by pinching your cheek too.
albeit harsher since he is petty like that
Tumblr media
Wanderer with a clingy God reader: Unlike these two, he is SHAMELESS. Nobody remembers him anymore so what does he have to worry about? Forget about you picking him up in public, he will be the one to drag you back to the camp if he wants to spend time with you. Any sort of physical affection is greedily gobbled up by this man. He would act like a tsundere in public unless he was jealous and you decided to pick him up to prove that you're taken. In that case he would be smug.
Pinching his cheeks would be a bit annoying but the more you do it, the more he grows to like it. It would come to the point he would lean onto your hand if you ever do it. And then it would just be you holding his face. He likes your hand, they are very warm...

The Golden Child Part III
SAGAU & Impostor AU where the reader is the child of the actual creator.
Warnings: Blood, talks of kidnapping, mention of suicide.
If you haven't read part 2 yet, you can find it here.
Tumblr media
Deep down, a dozen meters below the ground, a wounded man awake with a jolt.
The ground below him was wet, undoubtedly thanks to the pool his blood had made. Every inch of his body hurt like hell. There was a gaping wound on his side, his left arm was twisted in an uncomfortable way, and his head felt like it wasn't really attached to the rest of his body, the migraine making a simple job like opening his eyes fill him with absolute pain. Downsides of having a mortal body, he supposed.
Upon glancing upwards, he found that he couldn't see the top of the cave. It was just a large hole that went on and on, but he guessed he must've been deep into the earth for not even being able to see the light of the day. That, or it was nighttime already.
It took him a couple of minutes to stop feeling dizzy. He just concentrated on breathing, trying his best to ignore the sting of his wound every time he inhaled. Once the world stopped spinning, he got up.
First, he tried to sit up, but having the strength of only one arm only made things more difficult. He failed two times but managed to succeed on the third. Now he could see the area better and found that his guess of a cave wasn't entirely wrong. It was just rock, water, and gravel everywhere; with a couple of passages that went beyond what he could see thanks to the dim light his vision offered. What surprised him, though, was to find a lonely patch of grass and flowers below him. The grass was thick and soft, that was what undoubtedly cushioned his fall. The flowers were below his arm and head, so they were supporting his wounded extremities in an attempt to not aggravate his existing wounds.
A groan alerted him, and turning his head quickly, he was able to see another figure with him, laying down unconscious on the ground and doing considerably worse than him. Still feeling a bit dazed, he was able to reconstruct the events that led him to his point.
You!
He fought in The Chasm! Then lightning struck and both him and the other man fell down. So this is where they ended up, huh? He had no idea how to get out or if it even was possible to find an exit.
But he still needed to try. He had to get to you.
He could sense a wall nearby. His only good arm waved all around, trying to find something hard to land on and help him stand. All this darkness was doing nothing to help his migraine.
What he found, though, was not a rocky wall but instead a firm torso of a person. The shock made him recoil with a yelp, trying to get away but failing to do so thanks to the pain in his legs and waist. So, sitting on the floor, he could only look up to try to see who was in front of him. For a second dread took over him, thinking that the other man had woken up and was ready to strike him again; however, he could still hear him breathing heavily right where he found him. So, who was this?
A flicker of light emanated from his vision, and the slight glow was enough to let him stare into the deep, blue eyes of blond man. He wished there was more light to see him, for all he could distinguish was a suit adorned with a cape and a mask covering the right side of his face but letting his eye visible. He didn't know what to make of him. Why would such a man be right there, deep into the underground of The Chasm?
"You..." He heard the stranger say, but couldn't really discern what was said next. It was as if all the blood rushed right to his head, making it impossible to hear anything but muffled words.
His vision blurred once again. And, even though the stranger moved to support him, he still fell down as the world was spinning around him.
And, in just that instant, he lost consciousness once more.
.
It was only nighttime... It hurt to think that it was only this morning the moment where you lost everything you held dear to your heart.
Your eyes were fixated on the bonfire in front of you, simply watching the flames dance as you tried to avoid having any type of thoughts that could make you break down in front of this group of mercenaries. To anyone who saw you, it would give an eerie feeling. But this was the only way you had to remain strong. If you didn't think about what happened, it would be the same as if it never happened, right?
The party that previously raided Gandharva Ville was strong in numbers; however, the group that you were in now roughly had six people in it. It was just you, the man that carried you in his shoulder throughout the forest, three more guys and two women. It seemed like this was the main group, and everyone else you saw in the ville was just a reinforcement.
Contrary to what anyone could've thought, the atmosphere in the improvised camp was pretty lively. One girl and one guy stood relatively far to keep watch, but the four remaining members were keeping you company around the fire, telling jokes and sharing some pretty interesting stories between them.
Even though you weren't really in the mood to laugh, you still pretended to listen to them. Some of the jokes even made you smile, but it was pretty evident you were feeling a little down.
And so, one of the men sat down beside you, looking down at you with a warm smile. Thanks to the little time you spent with them, you saw him as the most friendly of all.
"Hey there, little one." He said. "Do you feel tired yet?"
It was pretty late. But still, you shook your head.
"I see..." He took a look at the empty tent. "Do you feel cold in there?"
You shook your head once again. "No, it's okay. I just don't feel tired."
"If I were you, I'd be dying to get some rest!" The woman laughed, managing to capture the attention of the group. "When I joined the Eremites, the worst part was getting used to three hours of sleep a day!"
The guy in front of her nodded, agreeing with her.
"Yet you survived. How I wish you didn't."
She threw a rock at him while the rest of the team laughed at them it even managed to make you chuckle. Your companion seemed to light up at this.
"We are just worried about you. I know that we were paid to escort you, but even then we know better than to let a kid be uncomfortable during the night." He ruffled your hair.
"Yes, the original plan was to retrieve you sooner to get you to Lord Sangemah Bay before nightfall. Alas, things happened but now we can deliver you as early as dawn."
You knew that this group of people was more than capable of traveling during the night. However, things were more difficult with you joining them. Part of the deal was delivering you safe and sound, so the best course of action was camping for the night to avoid any confrontation with other possible ruffians or running into some forest watchers.
You hugged your knees to your chest, glancing once again into the fire.
"Who is... Lord Sangemah Bay?" You asked timidly. Your father was the one to say that name, so you guessed that they were somewhat close if he trusted him with you. "What are they like?"
"We don't really know." Said the woman. "We were hired through a third person. We thought this was a simple kidnapped at first, but that butler was really adamant about letting us know that you would willingly come with us once we said that Lord's name."
"But everyone know they are disgustingly wealthy." Hummed one of the men.
"And they love to work, too." She interjected. "They have all that money, a handful of servants, even a big mansion! And yet they're never home. People hang around their house all day long just to catch a glimpse of them."
How could your father even know such a person?
Every new fact you learned about this mysterious lord did nothing to calm your anxiety down.
"But don't worry. Even if they're known for being pretty selfish when it comes to money, you wouldn't know how much they paid to ensure your safety... For someone so frugal, you sure mean a lot to them."
Now you were really curious to see who this Lord was.
For now, it was getting late. And even though you wanted to stay awake, in just a few minutes you were already sound asleep in the arms of the eremite, right in the middle of his explanation of the rules of Genius Invokation.
They didn't have the heart to let you sleep in the tent alone. So, they kept you company all night long, filling the atmosphere with joy and laughter, even at the expense of those who lost on the card game.
.
Morning soon arrived.
The group was used to spending the night camping, for the moment you woke up everything was already packed and everyone wad ready to depart. They even prepared a little breakfast for you, something light that you could eat along the way.
As you walked alongside the eremite, your final destination drew near.
'The Palace of Alcazarzaray' was how they called it. And surely, the word 'palace' wasn't enough to describe the magnitude and majesty of the construction. You've never seen such a beautiful home before... Your eyes shone like stars, completely entranced by the scenery.
As expected, there were already people gathered in front of the bridge leading to the manor, trying to bribe or persuade the servant there to let them pass. He stood there emotionless, as if this was a sight he was accustomed to see every day.
When your group approached the entrance, the other guests seemed to notice you, for every one of them gasped in shock and fear and moved out the way swiftly. The servant also recognized you and immediately stood aside to let you through.
"W-welcome back!" He said. "The butler is already waiting for you!"
The leader nodded and signaled for you all to keep walking. The passersby now were pretty curious. Why would the mysterious Lord associate themselves with the Eremites? It wouldn't make sense unless... the Lord was using them for some illegal activities.
One of the people present seemed pretty suspicious about this. Red eyes took a long look at the group of mercenaries entering the palace that he himself designed, silently worrying about the whole ordeal. Was this worthy enough to be reported? He didn't have any proof of any possible accusation against the Lord; for all he knew these Eremites were only simple guests (Yes, the Lord doesn't have guests, but there's a first time for everything) or were here to make business regarding trade and commerce.
While debating what to do, he caught a glimpse of another person between them. More than a person, it was a child. They were walking in the middle of the group, the grown bodies of the Eremites shielding the kid from any prying eyes. As if no one was supposed to know that there was a child traveling with them.
If they weren't suspicious enough, now they had all his attention. There was a kid in the middle of everything...
Why?
Were they in danger? Kidnapped? Sold to a foreign rich guy? A hundred scenarios ran through his head, maxing him more and more anxious.
In the end, he wasted no time in turning around and starting to run in the direction of his -temporary- house. He had to get there, fast.
.
The Palace was as beautiful on the inside as it was from the outside. As you all entered, the big reception hall welcomed you, followed by a few servants that immediately started asking about you, if you were feeling uncomfortable, if you were thirsty, hungry, and a large number of etcetera. It got overwhelming pretty fast, so you hurried to find cover behind the lady eremite you spent the night with. She only laughed and ruffled your hair, telling you that these people just were concerned about you.
The butler approached the group and bowed to them. "The Lord is on the way here. We sent the message that you were coming as soon as it arrived here, but the Lord—"
"Insisted on also go looking for you herself!"
The grand doors opened with a loud thump. You looked expecting to find this mysterious and mighty Lord that everyone was talking about...
Only to find a colorful, petite woman standing there and smiling.
"Lord Sangemah Bay, the Eremites you hired have returned. It seems that they were successful." The butler said.
"Of course they were!" She laughed. "After all the money I paid them, that was the less they could do."
The leader of the group approached her and crossed his arms. "Well then, I guess our job here is done. It was a pleasure doing business with you."
The little woman waved at him, as if that was her way of saying goodbye. The Eremites hesitated for a second. So, was this the end? Were they supposed to leave you here and go on with their lives? She raised a brow, inquiring them silently. This alerted the butler who promptly ushered the mercenaries to get out of the house. It took a few seconds, but now you were alone with the Lord and all her servants.
The lady turned to look at you, and before you knew it, she was gripping your cheeks with such force that even the skin was starting to turn red.
"Look at you now!" She exclaimed. "It was such a long time since I last saw you!"
She didn't lessen her grip. It was starting to hurt.
"My Lord, I think that's too much..." The butler advised.
She soon realized that he was right. Your cheeks were set free, at the expense of being drowned in a tight hug. "But I've missed them so much! I deserve to touch them a little!"
Those words were pretty confusing, as you were sure you didn't know this woman.
You raised your head slightly, as she was barely a few centimeters taller than you, and looked into her eyes.
"Excuse me, Lord..." Your voice came out quite shy. "But I don't think I know you."
You thought she would get angry. But instead, she laughed.
"Of course you wouldn't remember! I'm your aunty Dori. You were just a baby when I held you in my arms."
Aunt? Was she a family member? But your father had no remaining relatives, and your parent...
"Of course, not related by blood. I'm just a close friend of your father, we've known each other since we both started our life as merchants." She explained. "I got to know you some time after you were born when I went on a trip to Liyue. You were so cute back then! Of course, you're still adorable now. You big eyes shine with a glow that even the glimmer of mora pales in comparison to them."
Dori rambled on and on. She still held you close to her, telling the story about how she met your father in a business trade and started to exchange letters with him weekly. It was your dad who told her that he was getting married, and even the moment you were born... It sure felt like she was a silent aunt watching over you without your knowing.
During her monologue, the butler and some servants guided you to the living room, where tea and refreshments were served for you to eat.
"... And then I found out what happened yesterday in Liyue."
Ah, those were the words that made your heart drop to your stomach. You were still not ready to assimilate what happened.
"When you have eyes and ears everywhere like me, news like these arrive fast." She shrugged. "I always knew your father was reserved about his partner's origin... Though now I suppose it was all to protect them from those people who labeled them an 'impostor'."
So, Dori thankfully also thought that having the same face as the Creator is not a sin. It helped you ease your heart a little.
"That's why you two fled here. Your dad knew I would help him." She looked into your eyes, frowning. "Word reached me that you entered Sumeru alone, that's why I also hired those Eremites to help me look for you. So tell me, what happened? Where is your father?"
The tea got stuck in your throat.
Why...?
Tears filled your eyes. A choked sob escaped from your lips, and Dori felt a tug in her own heart at the sight of your small form start to cry.
She scooped you into her arms and tried to soothe you, gently caressing your hair as you couldn't retain your tears anymore and let them fall freely, holding onto the clothes of the woman as tight as you could, hoping to find some comfort.
You didn't have to say anything for her to understand what happened. She wanted to tell you that everything would be okay; those people wouldn't be able to find you here, and she'll be sure to protect you from those that captured your parent and now seemed adamant on capturing you.
However, she remained silent. Amidst the grief and mourning, she couldn't help but feel warm at the touch of your body. She was sure she only felt like this once before, when back in Liyue your father brought you along to meet her and she had the chance to hold you in her arms.
She had no words to console you, for all she could think of was this strange sensation... And if this all had anything to do with your parent and his title of 'impostor'.
.
A green figure searched through all of The Chasm.
Xiao, though he would not admit it out loud, was worried about the whereabouts of Zhongli.
After the... execution of their beloved and caring Holiness, every inhabitant present was struck by grief. After all, who would want to live knowing they took part in their Creator's death? Were not for the words of Lady Ningguang, he was sure more than one one person would've ended their life.
The fact that the Geo Archon faked his death was completely overshadowed by the main event that transpired. No one cared about Rex Lapis at the moment, they just wanted the child of their beloved Holiness to be back where they belong, to atone for the sins they've committed...
And for that, Morax was the first to chase them.
Xiao and the rest of the adepti were not as fast as him, when they finally managed to reach his location all they could find was a large, bottomless hole and remnant signs of a previous battle all over the place. In a hurry to find him they decided to split up.
Each one took a different route and started searching. For an entire day, they weren't able to find him or sense his aura. They still hoped for the best, though. The Chasm was a tricky place, they could not even feel the aura of their fellow adepti and they were all alive and well not far from each other. So, he had to be alive.
It was during the morning of the next day that Xiao managed to find him, clothes soaked in blood and resting his body in some ‐now- red colored rocks. In an instant, he was at his side checking his injuries and calling for his fellow companions in distress.
Zhongli tried to breathe normally. He was badly injured, his left arm broken from the fall and the wound on his side was still open and bleeding, staining the nature and the arms of Xiao.
"Please resist, master." Pleaded the Yaksha. "We will treat you soon."
"Huf. Huf. No— No..." Zhongli took the wrist of the boy in his hand. "Sumeru..."
"What?"
His master's breathing became more irregular and labored. "Sumeru— They're in Sumeru...!"
He didn't care if he lived or died after this; he knew his people would do anything to retrieve you safely from that nation, so he at least needed to let someone one know your whereabouts before darkness took over him.
And so, he let himself fall unconscious in the hands of his acolyte with peace on his mind.
You were going to return home soon.
