How does the six ears macaque play apart in the journey to the west cyberpunk story
i don't have his reference ready yet but i couldn't help but jump at the chance to talk about him
stone monkey 2.0, or the six-eared macaque prototype, is by all means a better version of the first stone monkey prototype. his hearing especially was enhanced, which is why he was given the name six ears despite not having any. almost identical to the first, macaque is much more obedient and harder to rewire than wukong was. because unfortunately due to tripitaka's own tampering with wukong, it was discovered that robots with a set personality are much harder to rewire. so they implemented this same idea in macaque, alongside a circlet kill switch so he could be easily rid of if he goes off mission. because he and wukong look so similar, many people turned on wukong, assuming he had betrayed the slums and returned to the jade city government.
macaque is intensely jealous of wukong. when he first came online, wukong and tripitaka were separated due to wukong's continuous use of violence. tripitaka was firm that if that's the personality wukong chooses to develop, it's fine, but he was no longer allowed to live alongside tripitaka. macaque sees wukong as abandoning a great home, a great life. his hatred bleeds over onto tripitaka as well, partly due to his own programming to kill/arrest him. macaque somewhat knows that it is much less likely he would be given another chance at a new personality like wukong did, because tripitaka would struggle with wiping his old code and rewiring him properly, and it angers him.
macaque is a reminder to wukong of all the things he hates about himself. his original coding, his violence, his origins as a robot created for destruction. macaque is all of wukong's most negative traits amplified, which he despises. so the animosity goes both ways.
macaque has given up on the idea that he may live freely like wukong was able to. but maybe it's not quite as out of reach as he thinks. who knows...
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
AU: Michael kills Lucifer just like he was supposed to, and God actually comes back, congratulating him for being a good son. Judgement Day has come: He wipes out the Earth and all humans judged worthy of Heaven escape eternal damnation.
And, just like Michael hoped, God rewards his most loyal son by returning his beloved Morning Star, because of course Paradise could not be complete without Lucifer. The most beautiful light in Creation is restored to its former glory, no longer tainted, corrupted, rebellious. His perfect eyes are devoid of any emotions, his mouth only forming words of praise for the Lord, always shut when an opportunity for criticism arises. He doesn't try to distract Michael from his duties with jokes or attempts to drag him away from his office. When God assigns them new duties, he sticks to the instructions by the letter. He lives for God, in mindless obedience and devotion, as any angel should. All is well in the Kingdom of God. Michael should be glad. Michael should be grateful. He got Lucifer back, and there will be no more death or pain, as God promised. So why does he feel like crying whenever he meets the Morning Star's empty eyes?
And like that, I finally have together my OC’s Star Wars AU (and her reprogrammed magnaguard droid companion Cedric that I edited because I didn’t feel like drawing him out lol)
Bio underneath the cut
Name: Val Solovyo
Age: 29
YOB: 48 BBY
Pronouns: She/Her (GNC)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Height: 5’4”
Species: Human
Occupation(s): Medic, Bounty Hunter
Bio:
Daughter of an ex-soldier father and a hunter mother, Val was no stranger to the ways of combat and hunting, yet she was also drawn to the healing practices of medics. She is the eldest of six other siblings, all of whom were also trained to fight and hunt as a means of survival.
Val entered the Mandalorian Medical Guild at 12 years of age after passing a series of tests to qualify as a medic in-training. While qualifying was not as difficult, it was the studying, field and hands-on training that required more effort from her and her fellow Mandalorian colleagues. At 19, the final test that would determine only 5% of the candidates to obtain the title of “Doctor”, was enough to make Val nervous yet determined to pass.
In her small group of 10, Val was the only one to pass by one point.
Being a medic was no easy paying job when you travel throughout the galaxy, and despite taking a vow to never harm or take a life, Val found a new means of collecting bounties to pay for necessities, fuel, and ship repairs: putting bounty patients under anesthesia.
But what put Val on the edge of breaking away from her healer vows was the accidental overdosing of a bounty instead of sedating him, yet was paid more for his death. Val took a bit of time to eventually come to terms with what she was capable of doing and began more rigorous studies of different species to concoct certain medical poisons to essentially euthanize bounties.
Val continued this practice for nearly a decade until she had found a bounty worth millions, if not billions of credits: a yellow Zabrakian male with brown tattoos from Dathomir by the name of Savage Opress.
She accepted the bounty and while she did locate the planet he most likely was last scene in, she took a side step to explore an abandoned temple, obviously in awe at the beauty of the place. She made up for her small error when she heard someone approach her from behind.
Val and Savage had a brief quarrel before Val eventually had the upper hand due to her size compared to him and disarmed him. However, she felt something in her that told her not to kill him or turn him in, and offered to allow herself to provide medical care for both him, and his brother Darth Maul.
Val stayed with the Zabrakian brothers up until the very end of Savage’s life; and she was never able to tell Savage she was carrying his child. She was left as a heart broken single mother of their beautiful daughter Mara living on Koboh as the Rambler’s Reach Outpost’s newly appointed sheriff, working with Doma to keep the peace.
sorry but the idea Eggman could genuinely be a father figure to his arch nemesis the way things are in canon when he literally tries to kill him all the time and is very specifcally threatening and vocal in this desire and is the blatant intent in his actions constantly, was proud and amused at the idea that he was "nothing but floating chunks in space" when he thought he'd really killed him in SA2, and laughed at him becoming fully corrupted in Frontiers and saying he only wishes he could've been the one to finish him off is very odd and confusing to me
