oh my god ok not to be insane but based on that last ask i got, i now bring you:

haikyuu characters* rated on the likeliness that they watch the blue lock reality tv show (BLTV).

*there are so many characters in this story. i am including a random number of them.

KAGEYAMA. -5/10. definitely not going to watch. he does not care for reality tv and he does not care about soccer. a reporter once asks him for his thoughts on the blue lock project and he asks what soccer is.

ALL OF SEIJOH. 10/10. ranking them as one, i promise i'm going somewhere w this. iwaizumi doesn't really have an opinion on reality tv but he does like soccer, and oikawa has a guilty pleasure of reality tv but doesn't really have an opinion on soccer. they thus find common ground and watch blue lock together. oikawa gets into making the fantasy league. iwaizumi gets into tracking stats for each player. between the two of them, they win the fantasy blue lock league. they then also rope the rest of seijoh into BLTV and the team gets stupidly into it. they all have favorite players and make bets with each other on their favorite teams. kyoutani has a knack for guessing scorelines. watari loses nearly every bet. he owes hanamaki so much ramen.

SUNA. 15/10. yeah. he watches that shit. i just know this in my heart. that kid is terminally online and was convinced to watch it by a twitter mutual who knew he was into volleyball and "its basically the same thing right." it is not basically the same thing. it is not at all basically the same thing. he watches it anyways.

HINATA. 2/10. not going to watch, similar to kageyama. simply does not care about either reality tv or soccer. but unlike kageyama, he does know what other sports are. he just doesn't feel the need to watch random high schoolers play them while trapped in soccer prison.

ATSUMU. 9/10. he pretends he doesn't. but he thinks that it's an insane project and it's kinda funny. he watches highlights when they're on water breaks during practice. if asked, he is watching "real soccer" and "psschhtt ofc it's not that ridiculous tv show whaaat."

USHIJIMA. 4/10. goshiki is into it so he knows about it just based on goshiki talking about it in the shiratorizawa group chat. goshiki denies talking about it so much, but everyone in shiratorizawa is consistently kept updated when big things happen. so he watches by proxy.

KUROO. 11/10. he thinks this project is genius. he wonders if the JVA could set up something similar. he is insane.

he tries to look calm and collected when you're around. He try to look like he didn't care about what are you talking about. (Keyword:try) but then failed miserably

The fatui agent and subordinates have been talking about him being so soft recently. THAT ALL BECAUSE OF YOU FAULT.

He know he's not on your rank. He won't try as much as raises his voice to you,he try to change his personality when you're around,the harbinger already notice about his personality change.

He only join the fatui so he can achieve the gnosis for himself,but now that you were introduced to him,he want you. More than how he want the gnosis

"isn't he's free today,I thought strolling around the palace with someone is so much better than alone,ah. I must have disturb your work longer,I apologize. I'll leave now" you explained,you quickly picking you speed going away from the sixth

"wait no! I'm free,I can accompany you if you want,I can take you anywhere you want" out of the sudden he reached for your hand and linked his hand with yours

"out of the sudden? I don't see why not though"you smiled at him,it bought a glimpse of happiness to his face as well also maybe a LITTLE blush definitely didn't spread all over his face. Yes definitely not 😊

He was never loved. All he get in life is discrimination and hate. But now he's craving for your attention. no,no,no he shouldn't fall in love with you.

He's probably too shy or hesitant to talk to you. You're not on his rank so he has to be careful with his word

He doesn't really have time to spend,so he only see you whenever you pass by. But it was enough to make his day

He got jealous whenever you spend more Time with his clone

He often caught you staring at him a little bit longer than you supposed to. He'd be panicked,is it a hint of something? Did he do something wrong? Is there something on his face? Is he too handsome? No that out of line,he just pretend it never happened and that he never saw you staring at him. Yeah definitely not..

He saw you multiple times braiding Signora and Pantalone hair. He always craved that,ugh. Even damslette and Childe get that treatment,how come he doesn't???!?!?!?!

It all until he saw one of his clone in you lap under a tree,you were braiding his hair slowly and carefully.. that when jealousy burst into him,the closest things happen to him was an eye contact,how come his clone get to take a nap on your lap

It's currently a good weather on snezhnaya,it not really snowy as it always do. You were currently sitting under a tree by your self alone. It until the fourth of the harbinger pass by. Your eyes was locked on his back, without of you realizing,he was aware you was staring at him "your highness, you've been staring at me way too long,is there something I could help you with?" He asked,his flat and cold tone was like the usual. The only difference is that his voice was lot softer

"ah. I'm sorry,I didn't realize I stared at you for way too long to the moment of your discomfort"you was startled at first,not expecting him to be aware of you staring at him

"I'm interested in your thoughts actually,So go ahead,tell me what you have in mind" he asked, walking closer to your sitting figure. Waiting for an answer

"I wonder if I could braid your hair,but if you don't want to, it's fine. I could move on,I mean I always do it to another harbinger and i-"you finally spit your thoughts out. Hearing the name of 'other harbinger' make Dottore ear burn. Do he own you? No. THEN WHY DOES HE FELT THIS WAY,WHY DOES HE FEEL SO JEALOUS

"so you're interested in them? Then go ahead if it what you desire" Dottore look a little hesitant at first,but he can't just let you slip out and ask other harbinger to braid their hair lovingly!

So you did, you lay his head on your lap as you braided his hair,at first he was hesitant and nervous as heck. But as the time passed he become more relaxed

When she first met you,she stares at you way and WAYY to long.

She'll write every single of your special interest,your preference, everything about you,she even draw you on her journal

She's a quiet and Mysterious lover. . She rather watch you from afar than to approach you.

Buttt... If a harbinger ever made her felt jealous,she should not lose you. Especially if it tartaglia,she couldn't lose you to him! Heck no!

When you requested for her assistance, she is more than happy to accept it. Through the whole assistance process she compliment you all the times,it make you felt very flustered. Your heart would aches when she say good things about you

What-if Crossover - Akaza vs. Goku

This is just a random thought that was in my head, like what if Goku didn't have his Saiyan genetics, but kept the knowledge of his martial arts? And what if Akaza wasn't a demon, but kept his years (115) of knowledge of soryu shiki?

Don't virtually crucify me if your favorite character loses, this is for shits and giggles. (And lowkey a interesting fight if this ever were to happen.)

Akaza violently coughs as he succumbs to his unconsciousness. He looked around to see that he was in some sort of white, empty room. It was like there was no start, or end to it at all. Something must've happened to him as he couldn't remember why he was unconscious. He just suddenly passed out, and he was just here.

The hell? Where am I? What is this place? He looks down, and coming to realize that he was wearing his gi when he was a human. What the? He then raises his hands up to see that they were no longer a bright green-tinged white complexion, but rather a light tan skin tone. He then notices the tattoos covering both of his forearms, the ones he got when he was marked as a criminal. Is this... some sort of dream? Am I dead? Akaza pondered as he was still confounded at this ac​tu​al​i​ty.

"Hey! You there!" Akaza heard the sound of a middle-aged man behind him. He turns around to see a man wearing an orange gi with a blue shirt underneath it. He had a blue belt, blue wrist wraps, and blue boots. He had a kanji on the left side of his top that reads Go. His hair was black and spiky, and his eyes were round and pure looking, while his pupils were a solid black. He raises his hand up, and waves at him as he shouts, "Hi, my name's Goku! What's your--"

Goku was interrupted when Akaza came at him at light speed when he tried to knee his head. Luckily, he blocked it with his left forearm, leaving Akaza a little bit stu​pe​fied that he blocked it so quickly, and so easily. Akaza then flipped back away from him, landing him on his feet, and getting into his fighting stance.

Goku bursts out a joyful laugh as he says to Akaza, "Wow, you're really fast! Had I not blocked that, you would've for sure taken my head off!" Akaza said nothing to him while maintaining his stance as he thought to himself, How did he block that so easily? I got to him within the fraction of a second, and he somehow defended himself. Who the hell is this guy?

"Hey, there's no reason to be so hostile, why don't you tell me your name? My name's Goku, what's yours?" He said as his hands were on his hips, and he nonchalantly stood there, swaying himself left and right, waiting for him to respond.

"Akaza." He spoke out as he was still defensive, not taking the chance of letting his guard down. "Where the hell am I? How did I even get here? And how did you get here?" He said with a faint sense of ma​lev​o​lence in his voice. Goku scratches the back of his head as he looks up and says, "Honestly, I'm kind of just as lost as you are. I was just training, and suddenly I felt very tired. So I passed out, and well, here we are." And lets out an awkward giggle.

A vein popped into Akaza's forehead as he thought, Just hearing him talk tics me off. How is he so laid back about being in a place like this? There's nothing here. Can you even consider this a place? Goku then thought to himself as he was looking around the white void of space around him, Now that I think about it, this does look like the hyperbolic time chamber. But, I don't even feel the force of gravity. And he would be struggling to properly stand if that were the case... he hums out of pe​cu​liar​i​ty as he started to bounce.

Akaza was slowly losing patience with this guy ignoring him. Is he unaware that he is an Upper Rank Demon? Well, was an Upper Rank Demon. "Hey." Goku's attention went directly to when he called him out. "Hm?" "Why don't you just cut the crap, and fight me? I want to see what you're capable of as you blocked my knee attack so easily."

Goku's eyebrow rises up as he says, "Are you sure? Can't we just talk this out, and figure out how'd we even get--" Goku got interrupted again as Akaza tried to attack him, making a fast jab as Goku quickly dodged it and weaved back from his roundhouse kick. He then back flipped and said, "Okay then, if it's fight you want, then it's a fight you'll get!" He said determined, but having a smile on his face.

He took the same stance as when he fought Vegeta for the first time, and launched toward Akaza. He performs a spinning roundhouse kick, but Akaza leans back far enough to see the soles of them. What he did not expect however, is how quickly he transitioned the roundhouse kick, into a cartwheel kick, and a superman punch.

He he dodged the cartwheel kick, and blocked the superman punch, and so he quickly dodged Goku's flurries of punches weaving his head left, and right. Damn! This guy's quick! Once Goku threw another jab, he pushed it slightly to the left, to throw him off balance, and gave him a left hook on the jaw.

Goku stumbles back as he is awestruck that he was the first to take the hit. He wipes his lips and sees a line of blood on his skin. He then looks at Akaza to see an audacious smile on his face as he says, "Come on, is that the best you can do?" Goku then smiles, and spits out blood as he responds to him, "I was gonna say the same to you."

Him saying that, got into Akaza's skin. So much so, that he zipped at him, and was about to punch him in his chest, but Goku fell back on purpose, caught himself with his hands, and kicked him in his chest with both of his feet, launching him into the air. Goku rolls on his back, and onto his feet as he concentrates enough energy for him to jump high into the air.

Akaza was stunned at how powerful that kick was, and how fast he did it. It was almost as fast as when he tried to knee him, if not faster. But he quickly came to his senses when he saw him jumping up at him, was about to perform another superman punch. Move, move, MOVE! He shouted out in his head as he moved his body to the right, and did a spinning roundhouse kick on Goku's back, launching him.

He then landed on the floor and began to bolt to Goku who was still in the process of falling as when he was almost about to land on the floor, Akaza caught him with one arm, spun him in the air, and did a bicycle kick on his abdomen.

He watches Goku get rag-dolled as his body rolls across the floor like a piece of paper against the wind. Once he stopped, Goku was striving to get up after that combo he just got hit with. It felt like he couldn't breathe after he got kicked in the stomach as he spat out more blood, and wiped some off his chin as he noticed his gi was all tattered up.

Goku smiles as he lets out a giggle and says, "I haven't fought anyone this strong in forever... it's almost making me excited..." he then started to take off the top of his gi, and now all that he was wearing was his orange pants and blue shirt. "And I never thought I would use this technique again..." Akaza heard him say technique, and that instantly put him on edge. Technique? You mean he's been holding back?

Goku then closes his eyes and softly exhales through his mouth as his steam started to radiate off his body. He began to elicit sounds of strained grunting and growling as he balled his fists, crouches down and grits his teeth as hair started to flail.

Akaza couldn't help but stare at him. It's like his body was emas​cu​lating as he was struck with this aura he was feeling. "KAIO-KEN!" Goku shouted out as his body became engulfed in this red fiery aura, and his clothes and body were in a reddish tint. Goku then lets out a shout as he then locked his eyes on Akaza as he got on he crouched all the way down, put his hand on the floor, and dug his feet into it.

"Get ready!" He then bolted to Akaza with a sound of a train whistle passing by. Akaza tried to prepare himself early by getting into a defensive stance, but it was futile as he was met with Goku's elbow on his cheek. He then was met with a flurry of kicks and punches, before ending the combo with a brutal uppercut to the stomach.

This caused Akaza to cough and vomit out blood after the beatdown he just endured. The pain was so in​con​sol​able, all he could do is clench his stomach and curl into a ball as he grunts in pain. Goku then jumps high into the air and cups his hands behind his hip as he started to build up his move. "KA... ME..."

A blue sphere started to appear in his hands, it started to glow brighter and grow bigger. "HA... ME..." Akaza opens his eyes to see Goku floating in the air as something behind him was glowing, and he couldn't do anything but close his eyes, and accept his fate. "... HA!!! " and so Goku formed a Kamehameha and fired it towards him and it landed on him.

Or so he thought.

When the dust finally settled, all Goku could see was a crater in the floor, but no body of Akaza was found. Goku's breath trembles as he deactivates Kaio-Ken and lands back on the floor. He walks to the crater and crouches down at the crater that he caused as he thought, Man, Akaza, you really were a great fighter. I hope someday that we meet again, and have another sparring match. If, you are alive of course. And he chuckles.

Akaza jolts out of his nap, to see that he was back in the Infinity Castle. His demon clothes were back and his complexion was back to its regular state. Not to mention, the lines surrounding his body. What the fu-- he then felt someone touched his shoulder, and he quickly took his stance and came to find out that it was Douma. "Whoa, easy there, Akaza! I'm just seeing how you're doing! You kind of spaced out on us when we were having our talk." Douma said as he pats Akaza's back.

Akaza's head formed a vein when he touched him, and so he started to walk to the edge, and jumped. As he was falling through the infinity castle, he started to think back that he fought in his supposedly "dream". That Goku was an interesting fighter. I've never seen a technique like that before. It makes me want to fight him even more. His body turned red, almost as if he was on fire... I have to find him. I need to fight him again.

Little short story, trying to see how good I can choreograph fights in written form. Hope you enjoyed this fight I wrote.

And if you think about it, Goku and Akaza would be great fighting partners as they both have a lust for fighting.

YOO this is a good question im gonna rank and review all the brandon lee movies now just cause i can..

1: the crow.. for obvious reasons my whole blog is dedicated to it

2: rapid fire!!!! so this is my favorite brandon lee movie apart from the crow. brandon didn’t get the chance to do a whole lot of movies but this one was actually really good!!! the action was soooo amazing (he choreographed it of course it's amazing) and the story was compelling.. its just a great movie overall i feel like it’s one of those movies you’d watch with your dad randomly just a feel-good action movie thats nice to watch. brandon was sooo charismatic and my favorite fun fact about this movie is that in the love scene, the actress he was doing it with didn’t wanna show her butt cause she had only agreed to show her top half nude. so you know what brandon did? he suggested that they should just show his ass instead! so the ass that’s shown in that scene isn’t hers it’s actually his and i find that so silly and so nice of him to do… don’t ask me the amount of times i’ve replayed that scene.. then there’s also the fact that while filming the scene his toe was broken and he was in a lot of pain and she kept accidentally stepping on it LMAOO poor guy..

3: showdown in little tokyo, now this movie was certainly.. interesting!!!! the amount of naked women in the first half had me flabbergasted but it was a pretty entertaining movie.. brandons character was really silly but it was fun to see him fight and a lot of questionable things were going on in this movie but pretty good what can i say! brandon’s the comedic relief in this one and he plays this wasian guy that’s out of touch with his japanese side and he’s the police partner of this white guy thats SUPER in touch with japanese culture cause he grew up there and yea its a goofy comedy action movie

4: legacy of rage, this one was actually pretty good, i loved hearing and seeing brandon speak cantonese. the only version of the movie that was easy to find was the english dub but that sounded so goofy so i spent HOURS searching for one where it was only subtitled and not dubbed and by the time i finally found it i was so mad… then as i was watching it kept BUFFERING a million times and it took me i kid you not 3 hours to get to the 40 minute mark of the movie ohhhh my blood was boiling.. but then i found another wesbite and everything went smoothly from there on. anyways my review of the movie was that it was pretty good, but the action didn’t really start until the end, so it was kinda slow.. also there were so many funny scenes.. brandon (who’s character is also named brandon for… whatever reason??) ends up being framed for a murder cause his best friend wants to bang his gf… then while in prison all of a sudden a bunch of white guys (ONLY white guys even though they’re in hong kong) start attacking him verbally and a bald bulky one screams ‘’EITHER YOU KISS MY ASS OR CALL ME PAPA!!!!!!!!’’ HUH????? I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD WATCHING IT HELP then brandon flips him off with his middle finger and all of the white guys JUMP HIM and then he gets put in solitary confinement.. then the white guys attack him again and a bald guy with an oddly square shaped head attacks him but he does cool martial arts moves and wins the fight.. he attempts to escape prison but fails and lalalalala. meanwhile his best friend who wanted to bang his gf tries to attack his gf but shes like no and this random old man thats in love with her take her to brazil?? and shes pregnant with brandons child btw. and yea a lot of shit happens… the movie was certainly an experience!!!

5: laser mission, this movie……………….. i don’t have any words.. i have no idea what was going on in it like genuinely. i love brandon SO MUCH but i couldn’t sit through this movie without skipping every 5 seconds.. i think there’s a reason brandon never liked to talk about it and apparently even forgot he was in it at one point cause what even was that.. although brandon’s charisma shone through and was the movie’s only saving grace, the bad script really ruined everything. but of course i rated it 5 stars everywhere just for brandon!!!3<3<3<3<3<3<3

6: kung fu: the movie, i havent watched it cause im scared of bald brandon lee. maybe i will one day who knows!!!!

2. i actually got into the crow not that long ago… i’d say a little less than a month ago??? even though i haven’t known this movie for a long time my love for it is immense and i’ve rewatched it more times than i can count. how i found out about it was that i was just scrolling on pinterest a long time ago… as one does… and i come across this photo

and i’m like wwoooooaaaaaa… okay… wow… who’s this??? i do a little research and find out he’s from the crow, so i put that on my watchlist and the movie just sits there and rots along with a million other movies i’ve planned to watch but never gotten around to actually watching. then randomly one night i get this sudden urge to watch something and pick the crow out… and the rest is history!!!

3. this is a hard question… i have a ton of favorite movies from all different type of genres but one of them is.. despicable me. I KNOW IT’S SILLY but what can i say how can you NOT like minions? the storyline is also heartwarming and i love watching it with my little sister… another favorite is ‘’train to busan’’ it’s this korean zombie movie and it’s SO SCARY and SO GOOD and SO SAD it’s just amazing in every aspect… you really care for the characters and it makes me cry everytime i watch it.. another favorite of mine is ‘’grave of the fireflies’’. if you’re ever in a mood to cry your entire heart out and be depressed for at least a week this movie is for you. this is a studio ghibli film about japan in world war 2 and before i watched it i heard a ton about how sad it is but i never expected the SHEER AGONY i would be put through as i watched it. this movie is so so good but not for the faint of heart i assure you..

movie1 had a little too much diana characterization disease for me to enjoy her. but that's so common its barely worth leveraging as Specific To This Movie. and i feel like she barely talked in movie2 so jury's still out on that. but of course there's a fair bit of wriggle room for the dc characters (in movie1 especially) as well given the "its a random ass crossover so the meta stakes have never been lower + they all got Genuine Teenager Brain for the whole first movie anyway"

movie2 had some pretty cool animation moments that i really noticed. movie1 wasnt like Awful but movie2 was the one where i perked up like "oh, that animation looked cool", you know? also i really liked the models they made for team rwby. the stylization felt nicely balanced to me?...if that makes sense. i hope we can see more models like them in the future just for me. idc who uses them but its my christmas wish RT please

Ace Attorney Spoilers for the original trilogy

I swear to Jeez Maya is trying to kill Phoenix. I feel like at least once in every case she's in she's making an attempt on this mans life with it be mentally or physically

My favorite character changes all the time between Edgeworth, Phoenix, and Maya. At the moment Maya is my favorite.

Godot has the biggest fattest crush on Phoenix. Bro dropped a whole case because Phoenix wasn't on it and then when Phoenix is back on the case all of a sudden he's back. That's the gayest shit I've ever heard (Not really but still)

I heard someone say that Morgan Fey didn't *really* have a motive for the mess she did and that annoyed the crap out of me.

My favorite villains are Damon Gant, Dahlia Hawthorne, and Matt Engarde. In that order

If I had to marry one villain from the pure evil category, so no accidental or sympathetic villains, it would be Gant I just feel like I'd be fine if I don't say anything about the mess he be doing.

I think Turnabout Samurai is better than Turnabout Sisters. Whenever I watch case raking videos they always rank Sisters over Samurai which is fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I just wanted to say I disagree.

Whenever Maya is gone for a long period of time. I like to sing My Everything by Ariana Grande to show how much I miss her.

I lowkey hate Godot he just gets on my everlasting nerves. But I can appreciate him flirting with Ron and some of the things he says.

Video Games I played in 2023 (and maybe even enjoyed)

A completely unorganized list of games I played this year that I wanted to talk about because they were great.

1. Ultrakill - My biggest time sink of the year. Found out about this game about a year ago due to FUNKe talking about it a lot. Was hooked from the first level, and after beating it I replayed several levels until I mastered the mechanics, then looked for all the secret levels, then P-ranked all of Act 1 and then the P-1 boss fight several times over (Act 2 is hard to P-rank). However enjoyment did kinda dry up for a bit after I actually got good at the game but then Hakita dropped the first part of act 3 a while ago and it started all over again. Here's hoping the last 2 chapters stick the landing and keep scratching that itch (which they probably will let's be honest)

2. Metal Gear Solid series - Played all of the games aside from 4 which couldn't run on my PC (had to watch a long play for it) and Peace Walker just cause I got distracted by other stuff. The first game didn't really resonate with me on a deeper level but its storytelling, gameplay mechanics, and 4th wall breaks are amazing, especially for the time. 2 and 3 hit far harder and are some of the best games I've ever played. I could talk for hours about every facet of 2's creativity with its meta narrative and constant questioning of reality but then I wouldn't have time to talk about other games here. Just know that it is now my favorite game ever made. 3, while not quite as crazy and predictive with its plot, is just a really good story about a small group of characters that is incredibly written and told. I also really enjoyed 5's gameplay and a lot of the more subtle storytelling, and while 4 has an utterly incomprehensible plot with tons of holes, the character writing, voice acting, and graphics are phenomenal. I want whatever Kojima smokes when he comes up with these.

3. Red Dead Online - I played this with my brother and encountered a modder on my first day. Think that really informed my take on this game because he gave me a shit ton of money and I was able to use it to get a bounty license which took up most of my time in that game. We'd just queue up a bounty mission and play some Oingo Boingo and Talking Heads while we ride, do the bounty, then watch random videos while we waited till the last minute to drop off the bounty bc of how Rockstar decided to set up the system. We also met a couple people online and overall just had a great experience bein a rootin tootin shootin cowboy. Also my guy looks doofy as fuck.

4. The Artful Escape - Impulse bought this game after I watched a vid by Jexonite where he played every game published by Annapurna because the premise seemed fun and I thought it looked cool. Turns out the game does look cool, incredible even. But the art style is kind of all this game has going for it, aside from some solid voice actors (Jason Schwartzman and Lena Headey were cool and Mark Strong was completely unrecognizable). Gameplay is basically just a walking sim that occasionally tells you to press buttons to play notes on your guitar and the story took a pretty generic turn. Has absolutely zero replay value but I did enjoy playing it.

5. BPM - The first roguelike I've ever gotten into, probably because it has a guns in it. I got all the way up to the last level then died to a low level enemy and have not gotten that far in the game since. The OST goes insanely hard though and is part of the reason why I keep coming back to it. It's also insanely addicting so be warned.

6. Hotline Miami - Probably holds the record for the game that pissed me off the most this year. An insanely fun and fast paced shooter game where your reaction timing is everything and that every nerd with a YouTube channel has already picked apart. Even though some of the AI is complete jank it is so satisfying clearing rooms in this game. The art style is also quite good and the soundtrack introduced me to a ton of new artists. Also is a strong case for environmental storytelling needing to be more prevalent in games. I can figure out what's going on I'm a smart guy.

7. Katana Zero - A very Hotline Miami inspired game aka a game with a pixelated art style and a synthwave soundtrack where the goal is to clear rooms and you die in one hit. I feel a bit more mixed about this game compared to Hotline honestly. I really liked the time slowing mechanic, the mobility, and the way you can reflect bullets with your sword. I also like how the enemy AI actually stays consistent through each run of the level, whereas with Hotline there were some enemies who could move erratically and fuck everything up even if you plan a solid route. However, I think because of how the story was told I don't think it had as much of an impact on me. I can't really remember a lot of the important details but I can remember that a lot of plot threads were left unresolved. Also, while I do like the combat a lot, I feel like it's missing the sandbox approach that Hotline had. Honestly not a game I would necessarily come back to, but if the dev made a sequel I would buy it (especially if we get to play as Dragon more he was cool as fuck). I'll also give the game props for actually having an OST unlike Hotline.

8. Undertale - What could I say about this game that hasn't already been said by the entire population of South Dakota? It is very fun and I am glad I finally took the plunge and played it. Now I just have to finish the other routes at some point lol

9. Lethal Company - I played this game with multiple friend groups and it was incredibly fun but also terrifying. If you haven't played yet, the best advice I can give is to just go in completely blind and figure shit out on your own. Also, try to actually go into the buildings instead of staying in the ship like a goo goo ga ga dingus.

Other stuff I played worth mentioning (Smaller stuff or games I revisited/haven't finished a full playthrough of):

1. A Hat in Time DLC - Played the original game late last year and loved it, but didn't get the DLC so I didn't play it for some time. Played it this year and had a blast. The Nyakuza Metro level is so detailed, you can really tell the devs poured their heart and soul into making this game look as great as it does. Made me rediscover my love for the base game.

2. Titanfall 2 - Not my first time playing it but replayed the single player on PC for the first time (played on Xbox before) and realized the characters and level design were way better than I remembered. I then started pestering everyone I knew to play it and the ones who did seem to like it too. I also popped off multiple times in the multiplayer so it was nice to have a multiplayer game that I'm good at.

3. The Magic Circle - Played for a few hours and then stopped, but the premise is quite fun and I am eager to revisit at some point in the future.

4. The Looker - This one was just funny idrk what else to say. (I have not played The Witness)

so his whole thing is he's an inquisitor who is just fundamentally bad at being a priest on account of he does things like forgetting scripture and not being able to help but doubt the institution which gets everyone hes ever cared about killed. he's gay. he says shit like "careful, i bite". he's in yuri with a holy knight. he's one of my favorite characters and i want to beat him over the head with a cast iron skillet

fucked up gay little cleric who was supposed to grapple with the fact that the institution he serves is corrupt except he has been in doubt from the very beginning and very clearly doesnt put much stock in the scripture hes made it his lifes work to preach. hes kinda a freak with it. every line he speaks is said with the cadence of a gay guy checking under his nails while ignoring you as he talks. i have to hit him with mallets and shatter him into pieces.

This man is the world's worst clergyman. He's a high ranking member of the holy inquisition, but nobody respects him and he mostly just uses his position to investigate random murders for fun. He regularly forgets how the bible goes and little kids have to correct him on how the plot goes of the jrpg equivalent of jesus's resurrection. He has a holy knight for a boyfriend. He tortures people for information any other character can just ask for. His best friend out of the rest of the main 8 is an assassin and gang member. He tries to get people to commit crimes with him. His story is about uprooting the corruption in his church and killing high ranking church members and also Literal Fucking Jrpg satan. He regularly blasphemes and everyone around him looks in horror as he shouts at god and encourages people to become atheists. His catchphrase is "doubt is what I do." He is still somehow the most devout character in the entire game despite being a total fuck up of a cleric who does not deserve to be here whatsoever. Pls let him win it'd be SO FUNNY

Hes genuinely just the funniest guy. Very little about his story has to do with the faith but like. He routinely roasts the entire pantheon of in-universe gods. He beats people up (metaphorically of course) as one of his main game mechanics. He got stamped as the resident gayboy SO fast. His starliner definitely has higher intelligence than wisdom even though clerics use wisdom. Every chapter he appears in he solves a mystery by zoning out so hard his god blesses him with extremely vivid hallucinations. He's so deeply fucking traumatized. One of his battle skills is fully just beating his enemies up with his staff. He ends up defunding the police. He can very casually become a thermonuclear bomb but in a very holy way. His best friend is a 23-year-old assassin that exclusively calls him "Detective". Is he Catholic (ish)? Yeah, but he certainly doesn't always act like it.

He constantly commits heresy and doubts the gods but is still the not-Pope's right hand man

Listen, imagine you'd go to church and your priest gets roasted by kids for forgetting how the bible goes. That's him, canonically even. He's like if a redditor who wants to be a detective was cosplaying as a holy man. He's someone whose whole thing is doubting the gods and the church, to the point where he makes another person question his faith too, even though he is technically The holy man. He's absolutely unhinged and gay. He's 30 years old and absolutely does not look like it. He's traumatized, and cannot be sincere and honest about his feelings even once. He should go to therapy actually. Like desperately. For his sake and everyone around him.

he is from the faith but he doubts everything around him to find the truth through it........ also i'd like to see him torment the crotchety priest i had to do a face-to-face confession with in high school. it'd be funny.

FATHER BROWN BUT MAKE HIM GAY AND PLAGUED BY TRUST ISSUES. This man will forget his own sermons, beat people up for infos and, at the same time, gets to be the fantasy equivalent of a youth pastor. He somehow manages to be the most unhinged person in a party that includes a vengeful math professor who can and WILL mug people. He might not be the most devout Catholic of them all, but he is definitely the *funniest* one. Give it up for the world's shittiest priest!

I saw your ranking of Kresley Cole's IAD women. Do you have a favorite male character?

Yeah, I have a few. I mean, it's cliche to say this because he's like... an obvious fan favorite... But if I was really being honest, Lothaire is likely my favorite. I mean, I think he's the most developed character in the series (and once Nix gets her book, God willing, maybe she'll junior or exceed him). But he's also just so funny, and so insane, and unfortunately, very hot. How can I not love a dude who, when his pseudo-girlfriend (at the time) gets mad at him for mercilessly beheading a bunch of shifters, says it's "not like I'm going around cockslapping gnomes"? How can you expect me to not love someone who describes skull-fucking randoms as his "mischievous youth"???

And while I do think his romance is INCREDIBLE and part of why I love Lothaire is that he loves Ellie so much and I also love Ellie so much... I mean. He's one of the best parts of Dreams of a Dark Warrior, an UNDERRATED CLASSIC. He gets tortured by Declan Chase and talks about how long it took someone to cut his dick off with whip lashes once, because it's sooooo big (and since regenerated). He kicks Thad off a cliff and then Thad becomes HIS ONLY FRIEND LMAO. He wears a Panama hat??? Like Stede in that episode of Our Flag Means Death??? He blackmails Declan Chase, a man who hates all monsters, into letting him tap his blood on demand and GETS A BONER WHILE DOING IT (bi Lothaire confirmed). Regin screams to Declan about how Lothaire drinking Declan's blood means he now has Declan's memories of Declan and Regin fucking, and he walks up like "Oh nO WORRIES, I have already WATCHED YOU TWO FUCK A MILLION TIMES IN REAL LIFE LIKE A CREEP". The entire WEIRD boy's club scene where Lothaire gives Declan advice about negging Regin into forgiving him and everyone goes "Oh shit, that's great advice actually" and iT WORKS.

(And then later he gives Trehan advice about Bettina... and it works. And he gives Munro advice about Kereny... and it works. The point is that Lothaire can not do his own relationship to save his life which is why he literally lets his lungs explode in order to win Ellie's favor back, he doesn't even know how to get Ellie to forgive him without near-death.)

But I mean. There are so many heroes I love in that series, just like I love so many heroines. Like I said, I haven't given an IAD book less than 4 stars. They really work for me.

Other standout heroes for me would be like... Garreth MacRieve who I think is probably one of the best boyfriends? Of the series? Like, does he hunt Lucia across the world for a year while she's desperately trying to evade him? Sure. Does he sorta try to seduce her into breaking her supernatural vow of chastity? Yes, he does. Does e not care about her god-given mission at all because women shouldn't have to have jobs? Yeah, and maybe HE WAS RIGHT. But he's also soooo sexy, and sooooo wolfy and sooooo loyal and sooooo romantic. The butterfly he named after her! Garreth SMELLING Lucia masturbating and having a freakout because he's in a cage and she's upstairs and SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GET HERSELF OFF NO SHE IS PRINCESS! He’s also overrated. But I get why he’s awesome and why people love him, but swear people talk about him, Zuko, Sokka, Azula and a little bit of Toph like they’re the most amazing characters to ever walk the fictional earth. So yeah overrated as hell but still cool.

I hear fans saying that ladrien sucks because canon doesn’t give us any crumbs but ummm hello? How is marichat the most popular ship then because marichat is also not very much prevalent in the show. Ladynoir and adrinette have always been the primary focus. And ladrien and marichat have been equally shown. Like in s1 we had evillustrator and Simon says and volpina, in s2 glaciator and befana and style queen and gorizilla, in s3 weredad and desperada, in s4 glaciator 2 and ephemeral and strike back. I think the only time ladrien got less than marichat was in s5 but even then there was deflagration. So I definitely don’t understand the narrative that ladrien is given less attention than marichat. It’s just that mc stans dgaf about canon and make outlandish claims.

It did not reach me the first time (yay tumblr!) So good call. I was actually thinking after I responded to a previous ask recently about how people want Adrien and Marinette to breakup to restore balance, and my thought was: what balance? Because you're right the love square has never been "balanced" between the sides. LN and Adrinette always had the most screentime and development, and up until s4 MC actually had the least. Yet, it was the most popular ever since Evillustrator aired. It's only been in the last couple seasons that Ladrien has had less screentime than they had been getting (s4 and 5 didn't have a designated "ladrien" episode like prior seasons, I mean), but we still had some pretty big moments with them.

It's just always some people's excuse to shit on Ladrien because they see it as a threat to their favorite side because instead of recognizing that the love square is the same two people, they view each side as its own ship that's competing with the other 3. That's why the Ladrien tag gets filled with bullshit rankings and favorite ship polls because people don't understand what the love square is or how it operates. The sides aren't working against each other. They're all working in tandem toward one goal: an eventual post reveal relationship between the two where all sides converge and form a singular dynamic. But peoples response to Adrinette being canon just proves that people don't understand that. I think that's the most annoying part of it to me is that it so clearly demonstrates that people don't understand the show/this ship. Like it's one thing to be a bit bummed your favorite side wasn't the one that got to be canon official (and stick for longer than an episode) but it's another thing to claim the show is ruined, it's bad writing, bad for the characters, toxic, unfair, unhealthy, boring, etc.

Honestly, it's so wild to me how this fandom treats the requited sides of the square. Up until s5, people didn't like Ladrien because it was requited and "boring" and "they don't even have to try" and "all they do is blush and stammer" (which isn't even the Ladrien dynamic at all, but I digress) and now that Adrinette is canon I see those exact same arguments being flung. Interestingly, I saw posts after Elation aired from MC stans whining that MC is boring and "like Ladrien" now, and it honestly melted my brain a little. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the point of ships that they get together? Is that not what we want? I'd get it if it were some random background ship with no hope of ever coming to fruition but this is the flagship of the whole show. We are supposed to want them to like each other back and get together...

This fandom is a cesspool honestly. I see people hurt themselves in confusion every day about this ship. Ladrien has always gotten the short end of the stick in this fandom, for no real reason other than people are weird and lack the ability to comprehend the media they consume. It's annoying, but that's what the block button is for. 🤷‍♀️

Don't get me wrong, I do love him a lot, especially in his newest seasons. I think he has the biggest character development out of all the characters I have read their stories for. However, he is working well with MC. He would work awful with me. I'm stubborn, independent, and bratty to rely on someone else as he wants his love to do. 

9. Sui Claude Saigu (New Entry)(-1)

This one is strange. If you ask me about his main story, I will struggle to answer. All I know is that I loved him the most out of all PLUST members, which was unexpected because I didn't even want to read his story. But from what I remember, he is empathetic and hard-working, with a secret soft side. However, we both are too stubborn to work well together. 

8. Jun Araki (-4)(+1)

Wanna laugh? When I started doing these tops in 2021, he was in this place. I won't change my words from last year about us two having a similar approach to work. Yet, the others are too good for this alone to make him higher. Plus, his sex-centered characteristics scare the shit out of me, considering that I don't like touches from men. 

7. Toshiaki Kijima (+2)(-5)

Toshiaki is the love of my life, and I adore him to death. Recently, I don't even remember in which story, he said something along the lines that he can also be naughty and full of surprises. And this is what made me put him higher this year. I am the biggest homebody in all my groups of friends. However, I'm that crazy friend who is up for nearly everything. So, discovering his naughty side made me want to "corrupt" him a little. 

6. Mikoto Amamitsu (New Entry)(+4)

He is one of the characters I have the most in common. I'll say something strange, but after reading the first three MSs for PLUST (I haven't read Wataru's yet), I headcanon that all PLUST members are introverts. And here is Mikoto, the center, the flirt, the favorite. Damn, this man reminds me of myself due to how many random skills and knowledge he has. Also, his love for literature is gold. Plus, he's super empathetic, smart, ambitious, and ready to help everyone. Can I marry him? He is one of the characters I want to be most like. 

5. Suzumu Mado (-2)(+2)

I will never stop yelling from every hill that this man has one of the healthiest ideas about love and relationships I have seen. Okay, maybe only in my opinion. If I were his girlfriend, we would be a couple of lazy cats, randomly helping our friends while pretending we don't care. Can you see the pattern? If not, wait for Kuranosuke where I explain it. 

4. Kuranosuke Kiba (+2)(+2)

It's pretty strange how Kuranosuke with his dominant nature is higher than Suzumu & Mikoto, who are more carefree than him. At least they don't show everyone how much they worry. And taking into consideration my personality that dislikes to listen to others' rules, it doesn't make sense, does it? Yes, because we have the same family dynamic, and both are family-orientated (in a way). That's the thing that overturned Suzumu & Mikoto. Also, the reason why these three are so high is that they are a lot like me. I can understand how they are working, their ideas, and their plans. But this also means that we have similar cons and even traumas. We would work well together, but not the best. 

3. Hideki Ishigami (-1)(+1)

Is someone surprised? Not me! During every top, he was pretty high on this list. As always, his only problem is he has a dangerous job while I'm a worrywart. But his humor, hidden kindness, and attitude towards MC = gold. Love him till death.

2. Munechika Takado (-1)(+1)

This is where you have to be surprised because for two years he was the first. He is everything I want in a man: kind, smart, funny, stoic but soft with you, serious about his relationship, supportive, and caring. Plus, Takado is taller than me and a doctor! If I met a doctor like him, I would fall for him more than definitely. Poor thing he is fictional. But you know what thing makes him fall from his 1st spot? The fact that the next one isn't as harsh with words. And my "words of affirmation"-craving heart made its choice. 

Togo Daimon (New Entry)(=)

For the first time in three years, my favorite is also the first in this top. Don't even dare to tell me that the man who loves you from the start, protects you, is a feminist (at least considering his actions), can do everything for you, can take care of the house, is cute, isn't afraid to admit his relationship in front of others, isn't perfect! But why do I think that we can work well together besides the fact that he is already perfect when I'm more than definitely not? We were the youngest kids who cared for the rest of the family while bottling up their feelings. He is more in control of this trauma than me. He may be the perfect boyfriend, and I may not be the perfect girlfriend. Yet, I'm the perfect boyfriend, too (according to all my friends). There would be a war of who takes better care of each that would be even worse than in his story due to me being a lot more stubborn than MC. Plus, I have a carefree, yet responsible attitude towards life that he sometimes lacks.

Predicting What The DLC Emblems Will Do

Hey. so today I wanted to go over characters that were datamined to be the remaining DLC Emblems in Fire Emblem Engage. Talk about what they might bring to the table and what I think of them. Overall, I think this is a bit of a let down of a showing that both could have been bigger but also simply had more interesting roster choices. That said this is also by far not the most boring list, many many people speculating were like "it's obviously gonna be my favorite sword lord they didn't include" and obviously, they were wrong. I think overall, the DLC Emblems could be a lot better and I do hope there is at least some kind of surprise awaiting us to improve this showing like skins or something.

That said, I am still excited for the story expansion and these, well I don't think any of them would get me to play the game again, I do think I'd consider using all of them in a fun to play the DLC story, although we'll have to see what they bring to the table.

Veronica

Veronica is the hero who really brings the widest net of possibility to the table. Even in terms of looks she has 3 very possible looks that simply could happen to be the look they chose for her. I believe Veronica: Princess Rising is the most likely version we'll see given she was the app icon for quite a while, they marked the shit out of her, and it seems to be her new default form and it is her form when she joins the heroes.

Her main gimmick likely focuses on summoning heroes while her top end weapon is probably Enclosing Dark, the tome from her most recent weapon with her earlier weapon probably being Élivágar, and Ífingr. How these weapons translate into FEH I am not sure but I imagine them being very flashy and aggressive tomes, emulating dropping specials on foes in Fire Emblem Heroes. She will probably give proficiency for Staves and Tomes.

Summoning Heroes is such a wide pool of possibility though, it could work like the summoner class from Sacred Stones, like Tanith's signature ability on Path Of Radiance, like Duplicate in Fates. For this, I think we'll likely see it summon 2 heroes that are random, simulating a gacha. I think they work in 3 tiers. 3 Star - Embla/Asker Solider, generic weak units, probably die in one hit, scaled to the emblem wearers level. 4 Star - Asker Trio, fairly weak but more useful, able to take a hit. 5 Star - summons more popular OCs Leagjarn, Fjorn, Lief, and Thrasir who will all have little signature abilities. Perhaps her Emblem attack will lock in for sure generating a rare 5 star or maybe even multiple.

As much as there is to be critical of heroes about in terms of a DLC emblem ring Veronica is honestly loaded to the brim with potential on what she could bring to the table, a lot of emblems I'll be staining to find out what they do over already existing rings but Veronica I could pitch like, 12 different ways she works.

Camilla

With no flying characters at all being represented in the emblem rings, it's easy to bet that Camilla will be very focused on providing fliers what they need. Camilla was a power house in her own game and with a huge fan base behind her I am sure they will want her to stand out and feel like a power house in the game. I think she is likely to add splash damage to the game as well, with her Savage Blow Skill and her personal skill allowing her to be a support unit will likely be reflected.

Camilla could bring in the Fates exclusive magic to the game. While most of that is on t he Hosido side she could be based in post game Revelations or in her Brave Alts alternative universe. In her core class she can't reach a high weapon rank of any weapon I think liberties will be taken here. Perhaps she provides Sanngriðr as an aggressive staff, Bölverk her fathers Axe, and her most basic weapon being something like Dragon Spirit. She will likely give a proficiency in Tomes, Axes and Staves.

I think the design ethos for Camilla is going to end up being duel natured where she is both an offensive and support unit with no defensive offerings outside of what she provides for others. I think her passive will be twofold, buffs nearby allies and also when the person using Camilla attacks, enemies with in two spaces of attack target are dealt splash damage. I think her Engage attack with be a reference to her Musou attack from Fire Emblem Warriors much like Marth and Corrin both taking from Super Smash bros. It'll be big damage with huge splash damage, potentially even dealing damage to every non boss enemy on the map.

Soren

Soren is a weird choice, a character I really like but not nearly as stand out as any Laguz or Elenica in terms of what mechanics he can bring to the table. We can assume the Adept skill he gets would be carried in allowing any attack, maybe locked with tomes or maybe after passing a skill or speed check like in his games would get brave hits. This would allow Soren to be a hyper aggressive emblem, perhaps that wanted the unit to be alone given Soren is a bit more of a loner then most of the other emblems.

Soren being a master of wind tomes could likely bring in powerful wind magic like Tornado and Rexcalibur. As a reference to Ashnard he could give Gurgurant. In that spirit he could also negate criticals like Ashnards abilities and weapon both do. There could be things to do with Soren being a tactician or being part of Griels mercs, calling on other characters or allowing for some tactical shifts. Perhaps Soren could have a radius that allows people to shove each other inside of as a reference to PoR and RDs mechanic. Soren could also provide "drive' effects that provide passive buffs for allies with in two spaces depending on what type of unit is engaged with Soren.

Overall, I think that this gay tactician will be a great emblem ring for Mage units and a mostly aggressive ring with any support it might provide not being the focus. While there is potential for a more support oriented role and despite Soren being a tactician, Soren is more of a selfish character and I do think that will be reflected in his kit.

Hector

I'm more then willing to bet that Hector brings in more support for Armors and Axes, alongside what became his Fire Emblem Heroes staple, Distant Counter. I believe the big selling point of Hector will be the ability to counter ranged attacks, I am not sure if it will be "any range" only one space away attacks, any range but has to pass some kind of check like Lyn's speed check for Vantage or just a roll with a perfect chance if on an armor unit. Regardless this passive alone if it happens would basically lock in Hector as one of the best emblems even in it's weakest form being able to simply counter attack mages and archers is a massive boon for so many units and lets them avoid using weaker 2 range physical weapons.

If any ring was going to be a purely selfish ring it be Hector. The armor lord is a brawler through and through and I think Hector will make any unit a mixed phase power house given you aggressive tools in both phases of combat. I wouldn't be shocked if at higher bound level Hector gave Unbreakable as well as "Reduces Effective Damage" abilities. Given that Hector is an armor unit It makes sense for Hector to give you all the tools to enemy phase wipe out with no worries about what tools your foe is packing, mage, archer, armor slayer, weapon triangle, fuck you, I'm Hector.

Hector will likely provide a Brave Axe for multi attacks even if your slow, Wolf Beil to be effective against Cav and Armor units and Armades to bolster your defense and provide you with effective damage against dragons [maybe corrupted instead]. I believe these weapons are the most likely since two are signature Hector only weapons and the other is a weapon he has in Binding Blade.

Chrom and Robin

I had no idea what Chrom brings to do this duo given he is in fact, made totally redundant by his daughter, Ike and Marth all existing in the game already, yet he was here. That's when it hit me, this unit has the potential to be the ultimate support unit, representing the boyfriends love for one another that was so strong it defied fate.

Unlike Erika and Ephraim or Edelgard (With Dimitri and Claude) I belive Chrom and Robin will always be working together and not have a mechanic where you switch between them. I think they will provide a Support boost where units equipped with them gain support levels faster. I think in addition to that they are likely to provide the Liberation boost to nearby allies helping others engage faster but perhaps only when your actually engaged with this unit. Pairing well with that maybe boosting damage done with back up attacks which would have them pair well with Lucina could also be a factor. They could also give the ability to hit the weaker of defense or res as a passive ability letting them make any unit a threat to more or less every unit in the game given how rare it is to be good at Res and Def. That way this unit does offer something offensively outside of passive support.

I think we'll see Falchion [Sealed], Thoron, and Destiny's Bow. We'll see the weakest version of the Falchion in the game as a basic weapon, good against dragons, maybe heals you a bit after combat. Thorn is the spell most commonly associated with Robin being part of their kit in smash bros and in their appearance in Fates is their default weapon. Destiny's Bow comes from Fire Emblem Heroes on the Robin and Chrom V-day alt, I think it will be some kind of special bow so I figured, why not throw out that one. If it is Destiny's bow it probably boosts damage they deal by amount of allies near by and effective against armors in addition to fliers.

That's just what I think these units will do, what do you think? Do you have different ideas for these characters, do you think the Datamines are wrong, do you hope there is more secret Emblem Rings we don't know about or do you like the roster?

Random Store Trek character concepts:

First off, just to establish some semblance of setting, the Federation is a corporation with many smaller companies under its umbrella. Starfleet would instead be something like Storefleet, the retail branch of the corp. Oh, and this is all based on Lower Decks.

Okay, NOW some character ideas I had.

Obviously, Beta Shift would be your rank-and-file retail grunts (maybe a step up to reflect recent promotions).

Mariner is the veteran, the one who’s been at the store since it opened, or just about. She’s the one who is the queen of customer service. Part of this is because she does not care about the company in any meaningful way, and so does what is actually best for the customers who deserve it. When I say she doesn’t care about the company, I don’t mean she doesn’t care about the store or her coworkers or the good customers, because she does. She just doesn’t give a shit about the higher ups or profits or anything like that. She takes pride in doing a good job, but her definition of good job is different from the official one.

Boimler is the hardest worker who has his eye on the manager’s chair. He has passable customer service skills, but is more task-oriented. He thinks the best way for advancement is networking and sticking as close to possible to the corporate way of thinking.

Tendi rivals Mariner for customer favorite. Mariner focuses on who she considers “good,” though, and Tendi is just Tendi (TM) with EVERYONE. She will worry too much about what the bad customers think.

Rutherford is mostly in the back handling stock, or on the floor setting up displays and other big projects. He was chosen at random by FederationCorp to test their prototype for smart glasses, but they are buggy as hell.

T’Lyn worked in another branch of the company (R&D, maybe?) until just recently. She had a falling out with her boss because he did not approve of how she got a job done, and he forced her to transfer to Storefleet as punishment. She does not want to be there and prefers to not deal with customers, even though she is competent at the job.

That’s what I had on my mind. I actually wrote a lot more than I expected to. I just had some ideas for Rutherford and T’Lyn when I started typing this. The rest just came out naturally.

a headcanon that is popular in the fandom but that i disagree with oh boy. There's quite the handful of them but I think the most... like, how do I put it, it's just sort of a fanon consensus thing that Iceman is a full rule-abiding stickler/is somehow detached from things and I just. Disagree. I think Ice to ME reads as truly 'lawful neutral' - he follows codes and abides to things such as honor and respect but by HIS OWN STANDARDS. He also happens to have goals (i.e. rank climbing, etc) and knows what he needs to do to get there, so of course he's 'ice cold, no mistakes' when it comes to flying, because it makes him good. And he needles Maverick about being dangerous and leaving people behind but doesn't actually calls him out on his rule-following issues, he calls him out on behavior. I think people confuse those. So much so that in TGM Cyclone says Maverick wasn't even originally CONSIDERED for the list of whoever would teach the squad but Ice dragged him there because they needed someone who could: think outside the box & believe themselves able to pull off impossible features. No one, not even Ice, who flies within a strict ruleset could do it and that to me is the greatest strength between Iceman and Maverick. You've got Ice as a guy who allows himself to be limited by rules and regulations in a way because he has a goal and you got a guy who doesn't have the same goal so those same rules would limit him. And yes I rambled I THINK ABOUT THIS A LOT OKAY.
