sometimes i think this fandom (marauders - but prolly other fandoms too) forgets that everybody has a life. we all have something outside of writing fanfiction. although for some people, most of our time does revolve around writing, the majority of us have school or work or whatever it is that makes us a person in society.

so the next time you write a comment to demand a new chapter, think about the fact that the writer might be crying in a supply closet at their job, or studying for final exams, or just existing in their own bedroom, no strings attached, no responsibilities.

today i got a message from somebody asking if i was planning on updating this is what it feels like any time soon. i literally have a chapter ready to post, but i just started college, and that’s a lot to handle, so writing had hardly crossed my mind.

just remember that although writing fanfiction is enjoyable, it’s not people’s entire lives. and that’s a good thing.

Basically what if reader after the whole imposter incident they just completely shut down and panic at the thought of anyone who might be a threat like imagine

you are just having a normal day until you see one of the characters that hunted you down walking right towards you and you just freeze you don’t know what to do you feel weak and vulnerable you know they mean no harm in anyway now but the feeling of the what they have done to you just doesn’t go away

But when they finally come to you all you can do is stare and freeze up and without even realizing you start to feel tears threatening to come out and all you can do is stare

but it’s all you can do all the stress and pain they have caused you comes crashing back down no matter how much you may seem like you got over it

you can’t seem to treat them the same ever again

here's that essay i accidently hyped up (sorry) on how fionna & cake did a poor job of concluding betty & simons characters + story in the final 2 episodes. sorry it is so insanely long. i don't know what my deal is. sometimes a show just does such a bad job of handling your favorite characters that you have to write 19k+ words complaining about it, i guess. im linking it as a pdf bc i DO NOT want to have 2 copy & paste this all over to tumblr & i kinda don't think tumblr would be happy with me making a post that long.

My neighbors’ cat just found his way into my apartment because I’m on the ground floor with a door to the backyard, and when I air out the place I open all the windows AND the door that leads to the backyard. Since the little guy is always either walking around the building or outside, he must have thought, “Omg an open door!” And decided to take a nap in my bed. I found him after my shower, and I was like, “Dude, you don’t live here?” But he didn’t care and fell back asleep. Anyway, I instantly started having a conversation with Matt in my head, and this is how it played out…

Matt: Why is there a feline in our apartment?

Me: He…got lost?

Matt: Did the neighbors leave their window open again?

Me: I think so.

Matt: Well, you should take him back.

Me: No! Why?

Matt: Because it’s not your cat, sweetheart.

Me: But he found me. He chose me. Please, can we keep him?

Matt: No, that would be larceny. They could sue you.

Me: For cat-napping? Who’s to say they’d even notice?

Matt: I think their kids would notice if their beloved cat was gone.

Me: They haven’t so far.

Matt: You’re not stealing a cat.

Me: Please?

Matt: No.

Me: Pretty please? I promise, I’ll keep your name out of my confession if we get caught.

Matt: That doesn’t sound like a very lucrative strategy.

Me:

Matt, with his hands on his hips: Are you giving me puppy dog eyes right now?

Me: I’m giving you sad hamster eyes.

Matt: Sad–what?

Me: Sad hamster eyes. You can’t see them, but they’re very sad.

Matt: I—You know what, it doesn’t matter. I’m not bailing you out of jail for stealing a cat. Take him back. You can pet him the next time he decides to take a stroll around the building. I’ll even let you know when I hear his heartbeat. Promise.

Me: As romantic as that sounds, can we circle back to the fact that you wouldn’t bail out your own girlfriend?

Matt: Not for something she knows very well is illegal, no. If you choose to ignore legal advice, well…

Me: Excuse me?

Matt: I’m joking, sweetheart. But you have to put him back where he belongs. Please.

Me: But he’s so soft…And he likes me.

Matt: I can imagine, but we can’t keep our neighbor’s cat just because he’s soft. I’m sorry.

Me, giving in with a defeated sigh: Okay. Fine. Guess it’s time to go, little guy.

Me: opens the door and lets the cat back out.

Me: Happy now?

Matt, sighing: No.

Me: What?

Matt: Grab your coat.

Me: Huh?

Matt: Grab your coat, come on. We’re going to the shelter.

Me: The–the shelter? The animal shelter?

Matt: Yes. I’m dropping you off.

Me: EXCUSE ME?

Matt: Kidding! Just kidding. I’m sorry. We’re going to the shelter and we’re gonna get you a cat.

Me: Really?

Matt: Yeah. C’mon.

Me: WE’RE GETTING A CAT! YES!

The thing that I love the most about mutual pining Sanuso is that, to me, they already act like a couple. Usopp is just too afraid to ask (or either understands that Sanji has a hard time with these things) and Sanji is scared as hell of his feelings so he doesn't say anything. But they stargaze together. They always look for each other when there's nothing to do and watch each other's backs when fighting. They hold hands most of the time. They dance when they're alone. They keep saying they're just best friends but Sanji kisses Usopp's head when he offers him some midnight snack to help with his anxiety, and Usopp always draws countless Sanji portraits in his sketchbooks. They share looks and silent conversations. They make fun of other people together. They're the closest they could be and they acknowledge each other as one of the most important people in their lives. And there's just this sense of domesticity and genuine love that doesn't need to be specified with a label to make them feel like they're in love.

random goh rant ok-

so i only just realised this now but like...not the point. I remember in these project mew scenes, goh is very much less keen to trust these sketchy sort of people, whereas Ash (in the 1st episode case) and Horace (the 2nd episode case) are very trusting of those kinds of people.

ash is definitely more social than goh, ofc, and im assuming horace is as well, and we can kind of see that when goh was younger he did have a hard time trusting people after being unsociable...which could bring out some of his traits in those episodes above.

like, when he meets horace, he defo hesitates for a little bit before accepting his handshake. this whole thing just came out of nowhere, it was such a random observation ;-;

bakugou is the type of guy that guesses who the killer is every time you watch crime shows with him.

just blurts it out at the beginning of the episode and ends up getting it right every time at the end, basically spoiling it.

same thing if you guys are watching crime documentaries or listening to murder podcasts. just pointing out little details that give the case away and it has you both bickering back and forth about it like if it were an actual case you two are working on.

a little bonus for AITA podcasts, he gossips about it with you and has the same reactions while listening to the story. and answers if they are the asshole or not like if he was the one on the podcast.

the wedding ones are one of his favorites because he likes to see when you get heated over some shitty thing some random mother in law or bridesmaid did that ruined the wedding for the bride.

making the mental note when you let slip some specific details you’d like in your wedding while you get lost in your rant. making sure to remember them for the day he proposes and starts wedding planning with you.

There’s probably a universe where Curt didn’t get captured that night and he escaped with the blueprints, not even knowing Owen was on that mission. Maybe Owen knew he was there and tracked down his location later that night. Maybe Owen didn’t know and they went through the mission just barely missing each other. I mean did Curt get caught accidentally? He already had the blueprints right? Or am I misremembering, I could be.

Either way, I’d like to think there’s a world where they don’t even know they were in the same location and could’ve gone through their lives with thinking it was just some random mission. What a world that would be.
