🥀 ❛ was it you? did you do all this? ❜ @rvngrd 200 dialogue prompts
why couldn't it have been astarion that found her? or even lae'zel. the way that shame sits on secret's shoulders, in her heart, a lump in her throat, it drove her crazy, and at least with the others, she could be earnest (enough) in her regrets without showing the deep humiliation. but it was wyll, who was good, who made secret feel like even trying, which was already hard enough, was pointless. that she was the kind of person wyll would hunt if they hadn't been on the same side of a tadpole connection.
don't blame me, don't blame me, don't blame me, i don't know what i'm doing, i don't want be doing it. it sang through their tadpoles as the rest of her contradicted the sentiment, shoulders and jaw setting, but the pregnant pause that sat between them was telling. maybe there was a fear in her eyes, too. maybe.
"i can't explain." i'm sorry. "i wish i could." and she did. all she knew was there was innocent blood on her hands, and it sent a thrill down her spine she enjoyed, had her heart racing in a dizzying fashion, wishing her morality could chase the adrenaline high.

requesting hcs of nebula pining over female reader please and thank you! set after gotg 3 and reader is one of the teachers who teaches the kids they saved from the high evolutionary
Nebula Pining Over Fem! Reader
Tumblr media
Pairing:Nebula x Reader
Tw:Angst with a happy ending
—————————————
Ever since the events of the battle against the High Evolutionary, Nebula got way sadder than usual
Sure they saved a bunch of people and lots of civilizations, but right when she was getting used to her lil disfunctional family they decided that they needed some time apart of the group
She helped everywhere she could in Knowhere, from building stuff, to fixing equipment, till a day where Kraglin asked her if she could help with teaching the children the basics of self defense
It was definitely not what she was used to, but coming from a "family" of abuse she understood the importance of it
An that's when she met you!
As she was waiting for her class with the children start, she saw you on one of the windows of the building teaching the children how to comunicate with everyone
From that moment she felt weird, overwhelmed, it was a feeling that she never felt before, and the fact that she didn't knew what it was only made her upset
She was going to pretend that it was nothing, until a day when her session with the kids ended that you went to talk to her
You waited just so you could thank her for what she was doing with the children, because as they were learning your language they were able to tell the horrible things they suffered on the ship
It was a simple thank you, but that didn't help Nebula with her feelings, quite the opposite actually
But after the group kinda dissipated she had no one to talk to
Her sister was not the same she lived with before the battle with Thanos, Quil was back on Terra and the most important person who could maybe help her, Mantis, was somewhere in the space, and it was obvious that Rocket, Groot and Drax where out of question
Every day you would stay to watch the kids you quickly bonded to see their improvement (definitely not for the goddess of a woman who was teaching them that you were slowly caughting feelings for)
Geeting closer to her, telling how cool her abilities were, saying how one day you wanted to be as strong as her
And every day that passed she got more intrigued by her own feelings towards you
Until one day Kraglin was telling her about some movie tapes that Yondu had found for Peter but didn't had the opportunity to give them, so he asked if she could keep them safe on her room till he came back
She wasn't exactly the type to like music or this so called movies, but she was just so bored one day that, when she was sure no one would ever know, she put a movie on the device that Rocket had made for Peter if they ever found one of those
She did not knew or cared about the name of the movie in question, but one of the main themes that kept poping over and over again made her understand everything
It was love!
Oh fuck it was love
Those were her first thoughts when she realized it, immediately turning off the thing and throwing the tape as far as she could
She could not feel love for you, in her head love wasn’t meant for her, she wasn’t worthy of love
But then again, why would you love her? A killer, a destroyer, machine
And after that day, she was not the same again
She asked to change the day of the sessions just so she would not see you, avoided you everywhere in Knowhere, and asked everybody to tell people to just leave her alone
She kept pushing the feeling back, and one day she cried for the second time in her entire life for a person
But she underestimated you
One day you simply showed up at her door, and even when she pretended she was not there you just screamed that you were going to wait
Seeing you really weren’t gonna budge she opened the door for you and saw your state
You looked sad, tired and even a bit sick
She went to ask what did you wanted but was met with a "did i do something wrong?"
Of course she was not understanding, but you just asked why she started avoiding you out of nowhere, almost starting to cry
Then all of the conflicted feelings she was feeling immediately turned into guilt
How could she do something like this to you? To leave you in that state just cause she could not understand what was happening
Then she finally could not wait any longer and told you everything, how she felt about you, how she was scared of those feelings, and how she thought she did not deserve any of what you wanted to give her
You immediately told her that it didn't matter the stuff she had done, the past was in the past and she deserved someone to help her see that things could be great, that she deserved to feel love and be loved
She said she was not used to it, but asked if she could give you a hug
It was kinda akward, but you could see that this was definelly just the beginning of something special between the both of you

Oneshot Summary: Roxanne Ritchi has a much harder time not panicking when she doesn't have a job to do, but she's a professional, god damn it! (Follow up to Meet Cute).
It wasn’t that Roxanne Ritchi, up and coming investigative reporter, wasn’t afraid of the resident super villain. If she was going to be completely honest (and she wasn’t) that moment when Megamind vaulted the table, grabbed her, and put a pistol to her head was the scariest moment of her life. If her back hadn’t been to him he surely would have seen the sheer terror that she had struggled to hide. But her back was to him, so he didn’t.
The thing was, she’d spent her first four years out of college working as a correspondent to the Defense Council in DC. It was pretty niche, and hadn’t resulted in a lot of screen time, but it had looked really good on her resume when she was applying to work in Metro City.
This was on purpose, of course. Metro City was her home, and she’d always planned to come back here as soon as she could.
Anyways, the Defense Council. She had seen some things. She had been in the building, interviewing members of the council, when it had been attacked by The Stiletto and her henchmen. Roxanne would have panicked when shots were suddenly being fired in what had moments ago been a quietly busy lobby, if not for The Quil taking charge and assigning her the duty of leading her fellow would-be hostages out of the lobby. It had given Roxanne something to focus on other than thoughts of “Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit”.
And that was why Roxanne had continued the interview when Megamind pointed a pistol at her head.
It wasn’t because she was fearless, or had nerves of steel, it was because she knew from experience that the best way to keep yourself from panicking was to find a job to do, and do it.
She wondered, somewhat hysterically, if she should tell Megamind that. Roxanne had been minding her own business, doing some legwork for a story on the new public transit proposal, when suddenly Megamind was standing in front of her with a spray can. He sprayed something in her face and she blacked out, only to come to, tied up in the back of a car with a blindfold over her eyes.
She decided, instantly, that her current job was to absorb as many details as possible so she could report on this incident if she got free.
That and not panicking.
Which was why she lay there, silent, doing her best not to give away the fact that she was awake as Megamind bickered with somebody talking through a tinny speaker.
“I know it’s a bit cliché, but I told her that she hadn’t seen the last of me, I can’t just say that and not follow up on it. I have standards!”
“Yes sir, of course, but what are we supposed to do with her if your plan succeeds?”
“When, you mean, when my brilliant plan succeeds.”
“Of course, what are we supposed to do with her when your plan succeeds?”
“That's the best part, she’s a reporter, when my brilliant plan succeeds she’ll be able to tell the world about my genius.”
“Oh, that’s very clever sir.”
“Right?!”
Megamind kept talking, bragging really, about his intelligence, but Roxanne couldn’t quite focus on what he was saying. She was briefly swept away by a wave of relief. It didn’t sound like he was planning to kill her. All he wanted was a witness, she could do that, she could witness things.
The car came to a sudden stop and it was all Roxanne could do not to cry out. Thankfully, Megamind had wrapped the center lap belt around her waist so she didn’t go flying.
When he got out of the car she took a deep breath and reminded herself of what she’d learned when she was researching his inventions.
First, Megamind only ever hit civilians with non-lethal weapons, some of them were unpleasant but none caused lasting damage. Second, when he attacked Metro Man the battles had almost zero collateral damage. Third, despite calling himself evil he had only ever killed two people, one was in self defense, the other was a known serial killer with a habit of violently raping his rather young victims.
Overall, it was highly unlikely that he was going to hurt her. As far as her research showed, he was a dangerous man who nonetheless tended not to harm people if he could help it.
The car door by her head opened and Megamind leaned over her to unbuckle her. She knew it was him because he was shouting orders at somebody.
“And make sure the Saucers of Sadism are primed.”
“Yes sir, they’re warming up now.”
“Good, good,” he picked her up bridal style, being surprisingly gentle, “Where is the chair?”
“Chair?”
“Yes, chair. We have to put her on a chair, we can’t just leave her on the ground, it would be impossible to get her in the shot.”
“Oh um…”
“Oh for-! Well grab one, and hurry up, the spray is going to wear off any minute.”
There was a clomping sound, like somebody running off wearing metal shoes, while Megamind grumbled about having to plan everything himself. Roxanne did her best to remain limp as she struggled to see through the blindfold. There were a couple dots of light, and a sliver of gray where the blindfold didn’t quite meet her cheek, but for the most part the strip of cloth did its job.
Something beeped and Megamind sighed gustily, he stomped across the room, and placed her in a soft, high back chair before stomping a short distance away. Roxanne badly wanted to adjust her posture into something more comfortable, but didn’t want to tip him off that she was awake just yet. She heard the typing of keys and tapping of buttons.
“You! Bring Daddy a screwdriver.”
“Bowg bowg.”
The clomping came back, “Here we go! One chair.”
“Perfect, put it on the mark. And double check that it lines up right in the shot.”
There was a little more clomping, some more button tapping, and various “Hm no, a little-“ and one “Ah, right there” then she was picked up again and moved to a much less comfortable chair. This time, she adjusted her posture immediately, quietly smirking when she heard a small “Eep!”
“You know, the other one was much more comfortable,” she said, proud of how calm she sounded, “I don’t suppose you’d put me back.”
“No I will not,” Megamind answered immediately, his voice moving around her, “that’s my chair.”
The blindfold jolted then came loose, and Roxanne squinted until her eyes adjusted. There was a camera pointed at her, well, her and the black leather high back chair she had probably been sitting in a few seconds ago. She turned her head and saw a screen displaying what the camera was showing.
“Well, well, well, we meet again Miss Ritchi,” he said from right behind her, as if they were only just starting this interaction.
She sighed, “You messed up my eye make up.”
“What?”
“My mascara is all smudged, and look, it’s going to show up on camera,” she gestured at the screen with her chin.
Megamind walked around her and over to the screen, he frowned at it, then turned to some of those floating cyborgs, “You, bring Miss Ritchi’s purse from the car, and you, grab some make up wipes.”
Roxanne raised an eyebrow at his back as he turned to the Brain Bot that was flying up with a screwdriver. Was he actually going to let her fix her makeup? This was almost like a professional broadcast. She tilted her head to one side and thought about the televised battles she’d seen in the past. Scratch that, this was a professional broadcast.
Good, that made it even easier to not panic.
She looked at the screen again and experimented with her posture. There, that looked pretty professional, or as good as she could get with her wrists tied in her lap.
“Hm, would look better with them behind my back,” she muttered without thinking.
Megamind glanced up from the doodad he was fiddling with, he seemed to be checking something inside the casing, “What’s that?”
“Oh, nothing, it’s just hard not to slouch like this,” she said, then glanced up at the lights, “you know, you should get some actual spot lights if you’re going to be televising these. The ambient lighting isn’t bad, but sometimes it bleaches you out.”
“Does it?” The other voice asked and Roxanne swiveled her head until she found that fish in a robot that sometimes accompanied Megamind, “He looks fine on here.”
“Different TV’s have different color settings, some good lighting can help compensate for that,” she said as conversationally as she could, “I’m Roxanne by the way, I don’t think we’ve met.”
“Oh!” The fishs fins fluttered as he blinked rapidly, apparently not expecting her to introduce herself, “It’s- I-I know who you are Miss Ritchi, I’m Minion.”
“Your name is Minion?”
He shrugged, or rather the shoulders of the robot suit shrugged, “It’s a rough translation of what my title would be if we were on our home planet. It’s maybe not the most accurate one, but I like the way it sounds.”
“Oh, that’s pretty interesting,” she shifted so she could face him more, and he seemed pleasantly surprised by the continued attention, “So what is the most accurate?”
There was a loud clearing of the throat from Megamind’s side of the room, Minion glanced over at him then grimaced sheepishly, clomping over to some other machine that didn’t appear to be on and pressing random buttons to make himself look busy. It was actually sort of cute.
“Miss Ritchi, your makeup,” Megamind said, and she turned back to find the two Brain Bots returning, one with her purse, the other with some makeup wipes. He directed them her way while he was bent over a control panel attaching the doodad to a thingie and she immediately accepted the items.
“Thank you,” she said, somewhat automatically, then remembering what he’d said about these things being made from dogs she tacked on, “good cyborgs.”
The Brain Bots bobbed a little, bowging at her. Hopefully that was a good sound and not a warning sound.
It was a little difficult digging through her purse with her hands bound, but she managed. However, it was impossible to hold her mirror compact and pull out a wipe at the same time.
“Um,” she looked up at the Brain Bots that were still floating over her, “could you hold this mirror for me?”
“Bowg.” The closest one grabbed the mirror in a claw, cracking it but holding it steady.
“Thank you,” she said again, then began cleaning up the smudged mascara. With that done she pulled out her powder and evened out the color under her eyes. She looked from her reflection to the screen and back again. Finally she pulled out some eyeliner and gave her eyes some better definition, then checked her appearance again. Good, now she was ready to go on the air.
She put all of her makeup back in her purse then tried to take her mirror back. The cyborg pulled it out of her fingers before she could get a good grip on it, tossed it up in the air and opened its jaw to catch it, only for the other Brain Bot to snatch it up instead.
There was a great deal of bowging over this development.
“Uh Megamind?” she leaned around them to where Megamind was sitting down in his chair, apparently ready to start, “Your dogs just ate my mirror, that won’t hurt them, will it?”
Megamind froze, blinking at her. He didn’t answer her question and for some reason this was the thing her brain decided was worthy of panicking over.
“Oh my god, will it?! Did I just kill your cyborg dog? I am so sorry!” She could feel her bottom lip beginning to tremble, which was horrible, but at least if she cracked now he would think she was panicking over hurting his weird, cyborg dogs and not because she was stressed and scared and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“No,” he suddenly burst, “uh no, no, the mirror is- it won’t hurt the Brain Bots.”
She sighed in relief, pulling herself back from the brink of a melt down, “Oh, that’s good.”
Megamind frowned at her, “Miss Ritchi, you are aware that you’ve been kidnapped, right?”
Roxanne was very aware of this fact, and she would thank him not to remind her, less she might lose her composure on live television.
She shrugged, “Yeah, and?”
“What do you mean ‘yeah and’?! I have you in my villainous clutches, you are in grave danger, completely at my mercy,” he seemed personally offended by her nonchalance.
There was a voice in her head that said, “Hey, Roxanne, maybe we should try our best not to provoke the guy that held you hostage and just kidnapped you.”
Unfortunately for Megamind there was a much louder voice that said, “Fuck this guy! Who the hell does he think he is? I have shit to do today.” And another which repeated, “You are a professional, you will not panic.” over and over.
“Grave danger,” Roxanne said, out loud, “really? You sure?”
“Am I-? Yes, yes I am quite sure,” his scowl shifted into an evil grin, “you told me I would have to earn a scream, and today I intend to do so.”
“I’d like to see you try.”
“Careful what you wish for Miss Ritchi,” he purred, then started laughing maniacally as he grabbed a big lever on the side of the control panel he was sitting in front of.
He flipped the lever and there was the whine of machinery before a large buzz saw suddenly descended from the ceiling, stopping maybe a foot from her head.
Admittedly, Roxanne did jump, eyes transfixed to the deadly saw as Megamind’s laughter picked up in volume. Then her eyes roved up the arm of the saw and she noticed a key detail.
It was as extended as far as it could get.
Her shoulders slumped with relief and she schooled her features into a look of disappointment, “Oh.”
His laughter cut off, “Oh?”
“Meh,” she shrugged again, doing her best to lean back in her chair as casually as possible.
“Meh?!”
“Well it’s just,” Roxanne nibbled on her lip for a second, then sighed, “last time we met you threatened me with a ray gun you made just for the occasion. This time, you what? Stopped at Home Depot on the way to pick me up?”
“Home Depot?!”
“Actually we got it custom ordered from-,” Minion started to say.
“Don’t tell her where we got it! She doesn’t need to know that!” Megamind cut off Minion before turning a glare on her, “And you! You are in very real danger here.”
“Oh yeah, sure, sure. It’s just… not very special is it,” Roxanne couldn’t quite keep from smirking at him, “I kind of feel like the spark we had when we first met has gone out.”
“Oh I’ll show you sparks!”
“Please do,” she said, in a low silky voice.
Megamind gaped at her, jaw working silently. When it seemed like he might just have figured out what to say to her she threw in a cheeky wink, just to knock him right off balance again.
“So, Minion,” she turned back to the fish, who was looking at her similarly shocked, “Megamind mentioned you like to cook?”
“He-?”
“Well, what he actually said was that you’re a genius in the kitchen,” Roxanne corrected, “how’d you get into cooking?”
“Oh, well I uh…”
“Oh! Oh, I see what she’s doing!” Megamind suddenly declared, he kicked off from the control panel and wheeled over to her, one accusatory finger raised, “She is trying to distract us, buy herself time to be rescued. Very clever Miss Ritchi, but I’m afraid nobody is coming to save you.”
“Really? So you’re not planning to use me as bait? Then what am I even doing here?”
“What? Ugh! No, of course we’re using you as bait, what I meant was, nobody will be suck-yes-fooly saving you,” Megamind rolled his eyes at her.
“Successfully?” she asked, as he kicked himself back over to the control panel.
“That too,” he said, and began flipping switches, “now, let’s call the Golden Boy. We wouldn’t want him to be late for his own defeat, would we?”
“I still say you need some better lighting,” she couldn’t see him with the chair back in the way so she watched him on the screen, “and maybe some eyeliner. You have a great face for this stuff but some of your expressiveness will be lost on the average TV screen.”
He paused in his switch flipping but didn’t look up from the panel.
“I’d lend you my eyeliner but it’s dark brown and you definitely need black,” she regarded the bulbous head on the screen, mind far away to that lecture she’d had about color theory in regards to live action broadcasting, “maybe something metallic if you can find it. And maybe some dark lipstick or piercings or something? You’re a very nice shade of blue and if you’re trying to look scary you’re going to have to add something dark to draw the eye.”
He turned in his chair to scrutinize her for a minute and she tilted her head, scrutinizing him right back.
“Can you grow facial hair?”
“I- yes,” there was something weird about his voice, it wasn’t quite rough, wasn’t quite soft, it was just off somehow.
She nodded thoughtfully, then continued her musing, “Maybe another camera, get multiple angles.”
Roxanne looked at Megamind, then Minion. They just stared at her.
“Something to think about,” she said.
He watched her for one more minute, brow wrinkled and eyes ticking over her face and posture. Then he turned around and pressed a button, a white bulb turned on over the camera. He took a deep breath and started up an evil cackle.
A glance at the screen showed that in his current position she was blocked from the camera’s view. All the better for a dramatic reveal. Roxanne may have been more reporter than writer, but what was a reporter if not a storyteller. She could recognize and admire all the brush strokes that went into this little drama.
It was getting easier by the second to see this whole thing as another day at work.
Minion got her attention and began silently counting down on his fingers, reminding Roxanne that Megamind was already on air. She fixed her posture, and schooled her face into one of calm defiance, waiting for her cue.
“-but wait Metro Mahn, there’s more! If you fail to stop the Saucers of Sadism, you will not only be failing all of Metrocity, but the lovely Roxanne Ritchi,” with that Megamind moved his chair over to reveal her to the audience.
“Roxanne,” Metro Man gasped, on the screen that Megamind had been blocking before. He managed to sound personally dismayed despite the fact that they’d only met once.
At first she wasn’t sure what she would say, but when she found herself live on television the words just came to her, “Hello Metro City, make sure you tune in to KMCP tonight to catch my report of Metro Man’s stunning victory.”
Megamind scowled at her sharply and she smirked back. Take that, Mr. Teach You the Meaning of Fear.
“Oh, I wouldn’t be so confident if I were you, Miss Ritchi,” Megamind purred, “in order to reach you in time Metro Mahn will have to defeat each of my saucers and decipher the clues I’ve etched into the inside of their casing. If he fails the saw spinning above your head will descend, cutting you in half.”
She glanced back up at the fully extended apparatus. Yeah, there was no way that thing could get any closer.
“Don’t panic Roxanne,” Metro Man said, but Roxanne mostly ignored him.
“Uh-huh, I’ll try. You know he has X-Ray vision, right?”
Megamind opened his mouth, holding up one finger, but froze before any sound came out. He frowned deeply, deflating and turning sharply to Minion.
“We uh, we may have forgotten that detail,” Minion admitted to her in a quiet voice.
“Minion,” Megamind made a zipping motion over his lips, then turned back to the controls, “I’m afraid your hero won’t survive my saucers long enough to use his X-Ray vision.”
He flicked a switch and the light next to a placard reading “autopilot” went off at the same time that a light next to a placard reading “manual control” turned on.
“Hm, ok,” she flicked her hair out of her face then said in her best reporter voice, “So, Megamind, would you mind telling the people of Metro City why you went with the theme of saucers this week?”
He shot her a surprisingly deadpan look over his shoulder, “I’m an alien Miss Ritchi, this didn’t really seem like much of a leap.”
“Oh,” she frowned, “but isn’t it true that you have lived in Metro City since infancy?”
“Yeah, so,” he flicked a switch and Metro Man made an exaggerated grunt of effort on the screen. Roxanne may recommend acting classes to him when this was done.
“I suppose I just associate the Megamind ‘brand’ with the punk rock scene more than I do flying saucers,” she pointed out. His fingers paused over the controls and Metro Man made a triumphant sound on the screen. Megamind cursed, too quietly for the camera to pick up.
“Are you trying to distract me, Miss Ritchi?!”
“What?! Me?! No,” she actually had been trying to distract herself, but she would take the easy excuse to keep going that he had so helpfully provided, “would I do a thing like that?”
He growled, “Ah! Cursed Temptress, you’re lucky I don’t gag you.”
Roxanne had to bite her tongue and remind herself this was live to keep the low hanging bondage joke at bay, “Can’t hear me scream if I’m gagged.”
“Can’t hear you scream if you don’t scream,” Megamind grumbled as his hands moved furiously over the controls.
“For those of you watching at home, I feel it should be known that Megamind is controlling (one, two…) six saucers at once,” she told the camera.
“Really?” Metro Man said, briefly breaking character, she would definitely be recommending those acting classes, “This is all you?”
“That’s right, Metro Mahn, you may have the strength of fifty men, but I have the intellect of a hundred,” Megamind bragged, without missing a beat.
“It doesn’t matter how smart you are,” Metro Man slipped back into his heroic persona, “good will always triumph over evil.”
“Unless evil has more money than god, and lawyers sent straight from hell,” Roxanne, who had spent four years reporting on politics, muttered to Minion. He snorted and started nodding in agreement before he apparently remembered himself and went back to standing stalwartly still just behind her chair.
“We should just let them do their thing,” Minion whispered back.
“How long does this usually take?”
“Once the fight begins? Half hour, tops.”
Roxanne nodded, glancing at Megamind’s back, then the image being shown on screen. She sighed.
“The next time you guys take a hostage you should line the shot up with a mannequin or something beforehand,” she adjusted her posture, “it’s really hard to make this look professional.”
Minion also eyed the screen, nodding thoughtfully, or well, bobbing up and down thoughtfully, “Do you have any other advice? Since you’re used to dealing with cameras?”
She hummed thoughtfully, “If you can find some blue powder foundation that should help with how shiny Megamind is, and if he’s really going for the whole villain thing it may be a good idea for him to empathize how sharp his bone structure is. Would it obstruct your visibility if there was lighting in your dome? You can be kind of hard to see on camera.”
“Not if we do it right.”
“There should be an ‘off stage’ of sorts,” Roxanne continued, looking from the one camera shot to the rest of the lair, “areas the camera doesn’t pick up where you can do anything you don’t want the audience to see. And maybe something to fill the scenery, it’s a bit bare.”
“Ok, so lighting, make up, and shot composition,” Minion frowned, “how’s the sound from the audience side?”
“Hm, not always great,” Roxanne admitted, “I actually didn’t realize how deep his voice is because it always sounds sort of nasally on camera. You should definitely experiment with sound design.”
“Any equipment recommendations?”
“Oh, I don’t know enough about cameras and stuff to help you with that,” she shook her head lightly, “although I could check to see what the station uses and send you the specs-.”
Roxanne froze and sharply reminded herself that she was not at a work conference or something, she had been kidnapped. There would be no spec sending, it’s not like the evil hench fish was going to give her his email.
“Oh, would you? That would be so great! Here, let me just write down my email, I’ll put it in your purse,” Minion said, subtly sneaking over to one side of the room.
Ok, maybe he would.
“Oh, uh thanks,” she said, although he probably didn’t hear her since she was still speaking low enough for the cameras not to pick it up.
“Gah!” Megamind cried, then hissed, “fuck.”
Roxanne leaned around him and saw that three of the saucer controls were now displaying red lights and nothing else, but one of them had an orange light flashing over its section on the control panel.
“What does that orange light mean?” she asked.
“It means that idiot meat head has damaged the spatial controls,” Megamind grunted, turning the remaining two saucers back over to autopilot and focusing his attention on the broken one.
This had just gotten somehow more serious, she realized.
“For those watching at home,” Roxanne addressed the camera, “this means the mechanism that either Megamind or the autopilot would use to control where the saucer is in relation to other objects has been damaged on one of the three remaining saucers and it is now out of control.”
Her eyes roved over the screens that were displaying neither Metro Man nor Megamind. She found the image of the damaged saucer, which was swinging wildly around the sky. On some of the other screens she could see that there were people watching the battle.
“The battle is currently taking place over Metro City park, if you are in the area it is highly recommended that you evacuate immediately,” she continued, hoping at least one of those people would be listening on the accompanying radio broadcast, “the damaged saucer is the one with green and white lights and black spikes. I believe Megamind has just, yes, Megamind has dispatched some Brain Bots to make emergency repairs. According to the control center they should be there in five minutes, I recommend that you do not engage with the bots.”
Megamind’s shoulders seemed tenser than they were before and the image of him on the screen was scowling deeply as his hands concentrated on one set of controls and one set only. He pulled up what looked like a warped grid onto the screen that had previously held Metro Man and Roxanne belatedly realized it was from the saucer’s spatial readings. Shit, were those supposed to be buildings?
She would have sucked air in through her teeth if she wasn’t on live TV, as it was, she schooled her features and kept reporting.
“The Brain Bots are now on site and making the necessary repairs. No, wait, they’re-.”
Before she could say any more Megamind’s arm shot out and he pressed the button from before, the light above the camera turned off.
“They’re disabling it?” she asked his back, but didn’t receive an answer.
“Sir, you cut the feed?”
He just grunted.
The flashing orange light turned red.
Megamind fell back into his chair with a loud whoosh of air. If Roxanne didn’t know any better she’d say he was relieved. Actually, the fact that she knew better was why she knew he was relieved.
This really all was just a show, wasn’t it?
“Why?” she asked.
“What’s that?” Megamind asked, voice muffled since he was a bit busy rubbing his hands over his face.
“Why do all this- this-?” Roxanne didn’t even know what to call it. He had been to prison, several times. He was hated by the entire city, he couldn’t walk down the street without people screaming at him.
And he was the smartest person in the world who almost definitely had a fortune sitting around from various patents.
“Because I’m evil, Miss Ritchi,” he purred, apparently back to playing the villain, playing this character he had thrown his whole life into.
“Are you?” she asked doubtfully.
He frowned and was about to say something, but then a wall burst open and suddenly Metro Man was just there.
Things moved quickly after that, at least, it all seemed like a blur to Roxanne. She watched Metro Man knock Megamind around a little with a dull sort of horror, her blood rushing in her ears. Why? Why was he doing this? She didn’t understand. And then Metro Man used his laser eyes to zap the ropes off her wrists and he picked her up so that she sat on his forearm, leaning against his chest, and in his other hand he grabbed Megamind by the scruff of his shoulder thingy, and he flew them away like that, and Megamind didn’t even point out that he had stopped the saucer from hurting anyone.
It wasn't that Roxanne Ritchi, up and coming investigative reporter, was afraid of the resident super villain. If anybody asked (and they wouldn't) she was actually completely baffled by him. Baffled and a little concerned.

ENHYPEN AS TWILIGHT WOLF PACK MEMBERS
**************************************************************************************************************
MAKNAE LINE - PART 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sunoo 선우
- Seth Clearwater
- Similar to Seth, I feel that Sunoo is someone who is good at adapting and dealing with any changes thrown his way. Even though he’s one of the youngest in the pack he’s capable of a lot and very strong willed. After getting used to shifting he starts to enjoy it and is proud to be a member of the pack
- Being that he’s one of the younger ones, would most likely get not as active or dangerous jobs from the elder pack members but wouldn’t complain as long as he’s being included. However if need be he is very ambitious and would be able to fight against the new borns ( He would be the secret killer as shown when he ranked #1 TWICE when the other contestants tried to knock him down in I-Land) don’t mess with him 💅🏼
- Sunghoon is the overprotective older sibling (Leah) to the more sunshine younger sibling Sunoo (Seth)
- Would love the bonfires and getting to hear the stories of the tribes history. (I feel like Sunoo was the type of kid who liked bedtime stories idk why).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jungwon 정원
- Embry Call
- Loyal and ambitious, unofficial leader of the pack keeps everyone level headed and knocks sense into the other members head. Very big on the pack being his life and duty and very responsible. (I believe that Embry would be that member that would be the first one to call other members out on their bs and I feel that jungwon could be like that as well). Very mature and wise for his age. Took to the pack and shifting the quickest. A natural.
- The duality. He can either be very sweet and funny and mess around or he can be very serious and intimidating no in between. (Embry at Bella’s graduation party). Has the best self control and temperament. Despite being one of the younger and smaller members everyone knows not to mess with him.
- Would be the best at following the pack laws and keeping the secrets of the tribe, would also be the one most interested in the tribes history and stories. Memorized all of them word for word.
- #1 Bonfire enthusiast loves the vibes and being with the tribe and having the opportunity to get away from the “outside” world and just genuinely enjoy himself (based off of his lil camping vlog, I know he would enjoy the bonfires the most and shifting as a whole)
-Loves being a shifter, loves the added abilities that it gives him as well as the freedom to shift and run through the woods in his wolf form. Would enjoy going for runs as a way to relax, feeling the wind through his fur and smelling the rain, pine trees, etc around him. Would probably find a secret meadow and make it his go to spot to just sit and watch the stars.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Niki 니키
- Quil Ateara
- 2/2 of the jokester duo
- Is a huge prankster and lovessss to tease his brothers. Is always teaming up with Jaeyun and you can expect to hear and see them bickering/wrestling at least 3x a day. Enjoys instigating arguments.
- Begs the members to entertain him and will harass them until they give in even if it’s only one person it’s still better than none in his eyes.
- #1 Cliff diving enthusiast, would love the adrenaline and is always up for a challenge. Would be the one to actively wrestle the other members along with Jaeyun to throw them into the water/ tease them. (The one enoclock ep where he kept shaking the bridge that Jay was trying to walk on and laughing).
- I feel that out of all the members he’d be the one most likely to have his family be apart of the tribes council similar to how quils grandfather was on the council.

21!
hey Sam ily<33
from this ask game
21. What originally inspired this story?
OKAY it went like this. EXACTLY a year ago, I wanted to run a DnD one-shot for my friends. I've never done that before and I wanted to try out DMing. buuut I didn't wanna take an already existing Bad GuyTM for them to fight against so I decided to make my own, full with a stat sheet and everything. and as I started to construct them, gave them a name, a backstory, motivation and goals, I realized "huh. this could be a killer character in a fantasy story actually"
it was Endra. the first version of him was a DnD encounter. I have a stat block for him. (it's far cooler than what he actually has in canon though unfortunately 😔)
and so when I started to think about what this lil guy could do, I thought "omg what if he goes to a disgraced wizard in a far away place who is the only one who could help him....and then they fell in love....) and boom story's born! basically Endra was actually meant to be the protagonist initially but ummmmmmm stuff happened LMAO rip Quil so sorry babe
I actually planned out the majority of the story super quickly, in maybe a week or so?? I was on a ROLL
anyway this is to say you really never know when inspiration is gonna strike. just go w the flow man, it'll happen :))

The Wolves as Gods
Tumblr media
Tag: @iloveslasher @simpfordemetri
Sam:
This one should not be a surprise, but Sam would be Zeus. I picked Zeuz to represent Sam because Zeuz is a born leader. This is ironic, because Sam is not, Jacob is. But, his willingness to step up to that role makes him worthy of the title. Zeuz is the god of the sky and is known as the protector of humans. And what are the shapeshifter, if not guardians of human life? They were made to directly oppose the tyranny and brutalism of the vampires. Like my headcanon for Emily, I think Sam would make an amazing Father. He already has plenty of practice with how he treats the pack. He loves deeply and is willing to learn from his mistakes and open up his mind to new ideas. He is not a dictator, instead, he leads fairly.
Paul:
Now my boy Paul, Paul would be Momus. Momus is the personification of sarcasm and mockery. I believe Paul would be the obsolete last choice to have a leadership role. Despite being Sam's right hand, he doesn't do a very good job at it. His judgement and moral standing are corrupted, he thinks with his heart, not his head. Paul seems like the type to use sarcasm as a coping strategy because he's too scared to actually tell people how he feels. He exhibits toxic masculinity, just like Momus did.
Seth:
My baby Seth would be Pan. Pan is the god of winds, shepherds, flocks and nymphs. He resides over the animals of the earth. Seth, being part animal himself, fits this role well. Seth is often times the glue holding the pack together. Like Emily, he's very good at conflict resolution. He keeps the wolves from raging and breaking the treaty, and unlike most of the pack, he respects the vampires. He knows the Cullens are good people, and judges them for their morals, not what they are. Despite not having a direct leadership role, Seth holds his "flock" together. He also has great respect for nature and loves to be outdoors.
Jacob:
Mr I imprinted on a baby would be Eros. Eros is the god of passion and fertility. Jacob struggles with passion throughout the entire story. He feels his emotions without hesitation or restraint. Evrything he does, he does with 100% effort and concentration. Eros was also known for his childlike looks compared to the rest of the gods. Jacob is frustrated by the fact that he is younger than Bella, and she doesn't see him how he wants her to. The pack also went to Sam, because Jacob wasn't yet old enough to handle that responsibility. Even though it is his birthright to lead the pack.
Jared:
Jared is just kinda here, and he would be Plutus. Plutus is the god of abundance and wealth. Jared isn't necessarily rich in the money way, but one thing he has in common with the rich is greed. Plutus was also known for being blind to the scales of good and evil. Jared definitely teeters on the edge. His hatred for vampires clouds his judgment. If Sam weren't in charge, I think he would antagonise them more. Both he and Paul don't seem to care much about the treaty. They blame the vampires for what happened to their ancestors.
Embry:
Embry, my sweet summer child, would be Hymenaios god of marriage ceremonies and inspiring feasts. Despite the blaring bachelor vibe, Embry gives off, he is someone who could throw a killer party. He celebrates his friends even for the smallest accomplishments. He has a fun and bubbly personality that's contagious. He's like the male version of Alice, just with a boyish charm. He doesn't take himself too seriously. Like Hymenaios, Embry knows how to have a good time. And not to forget his raging appetite.
Quil:
I believe Quil could be Hypnos. Hypnos is the god of sleep. Now, this may seem like an odd trait to give a werewolf, but I think Quil encapsulates his energy perfectly. Quil is in many ways kind of lazy/ He takes shortcuts in most of the things he does in life. But he also has a sluggish sort of personality. Of course, he jokes around and stuff like the other boys, but he has a calm and quiet sort of aura. The night is mysterious and full of stange things, but its also tranquil and effervescent. Quil seems like the type to stay up all night to watch over his loved ones and sleep during the day. He has a night owl sort of personality.
Leah:
Leah would be Athena. Athena was known for he wisdom, handicraft and warfare. But unlike most of the other goddesses, her beauty isn't dwelled on or donated about. Leah is seen as and treated like "one of the boys" She's an amazing fighter and shows incredible bravery. While she is very obviously beautiful, she doesn't feel as though she is. Athena preferred to be known for her actions, not her appearance. And I think Leah is much the same way. She's bitter about losing Sam, but I think she's stronger for it. Of course, she deserves an imprint, but she doesn't feel she needs one. She's not waiting around for someone to come get her, if she wants it, she will get it.
Emily:
Emily, the love of my life, would be Nike. Nike is the personification of victory. She represents art, music, war and athletics. I've always had a little headcanon that Emily can sing. We don't get to see much of the wolves, but more specifically her in the films. Because Stephanie Myers forgot that the Native Americans are actually people and they deserve to have personalities too. But in my head, she and Sam have three kids, Two boys, twins and one girl. And I think she sings them to sleep each night. Now when it comes to what we do see on screen, Emily represents victory in terms of love. She's the one who wins Sam, not Leah. Emily has a level head, which directly opposes her imprint. I think she would be an amazing strategist like Nike.

Jesse: uhh.... dads arent singing about you
Clover: what
Anna: ohh no-
Tumblr media
Clover: im a PERFECT killer queen!
Jesse: more like killer peasant
Anna: yo you two your kids be fighting
Tumblr media
Quil: you mean his kids? Im just filler dad
Shawn: ok you two-
Anna just watching as clover and jesse suddenly have one of their classic sibling arguments. Shawn is ready to break it up again and OOF quil XD
Suddenly!
Riki and anna are sneaking through Dylans lair when suddenly-
Tumblr media
Riki, accidentally stepping on a poison trap: A-
Anna: riki!?
Tumblr media
Riki: get the fuck out of here!
Anna: WH-
Riki: tch. This is gonna hurt so fucking much..
Dylan has a fucking poisondart trap room and riki being riki, shoved his spyphone at anna and made her teleport away which meant it was only him getting sent to pain town. And unfortunately for him the poison darts did a nasty number on what he had of his vision.
Tumblr media
Riki: what type of ass makes a poison dart room?
Tumblr media
Shawn: an albatross apparently.....what can you see.
Tumblr media
Riki: uhh....im gonna be real with you chief. Apart from your shadow? I abso-fuckin-loutly see nothing.
Riki is a stubborn bastard which meant he had a chance to tell an epf doc about his failing vision. He didnt want to bother them though which ended up with this situation. However, the thing about seeing shadows and having the ability to use shadow jitsu? He has his own way of getting around.
And the finale!
Tumblr media
Riki is basically a shadow toph. She sees with her earth bending, riki sees with his shadow jitsu. He's still learning this though but he's slowly getting better at it.

Just saw the deck came back out with pre orders! Finally was able to secure mine (shipping just sucks because Australia-).
Anyway, mainly came here to ask if you guys would ever think about contacting Rusty Quil to ask about a creating a Magnus Archives tarot deck?
Thank you so much for purchasing all the way from Australia! We know how killer the international shipping prices are and all of us at ObscureFandom salute you.
A Magnus Archives tarot deck would be really awesome! It's definitely going to be a question of whether or not there's enough content to create 78 cards with. We'll definitely look into it!!

The night fell on Forks slowly, almost as if it was lurking around for some time before covering the streets. For some time, you've been sitting in a super-small cubbyhole named the 'Administrative office'. Administrative up your ass, you barely didn't knock off the brooms you've been sharing the room with. It shouldn't surprise you that you were falling asleep while writing small numbers into the boxes. You've also picked up a few phones - for such a small town, there was a lot of cars just suddenly breaking down. But Jacob sometimes even took small jobs around in the smaller towns around forks - like La Push, Beaver, and Sappho.
It wasn't even nine hours when you were snoozing with your head in your palm because you've simply fallen asleep. Also, it was weird to see Jacob walking around the whole building, checking on the heating - as if he wasn't turning the heating on in such cold. It was summer and the city was still cold as hell. And this mechanic wasn't turning on his heating system? What kind of crazy he was? The man has woken you up after ten minutes, sending you to bed - yet you didn't know that he didn't walk to bed that night. As soon as he heard snoring coming out of the visitor's bedroom, Jacob made sure the door to the small flat were locked before he ran into the woods. It was time to check with the other guys - Jared and Paul, two of his friends from Sam Uley's spent their whole day on the northern route, trying to find out something more about the unwanted visitors of Forks.
At first, the werewolves weren't entirely sure if there was any vampires close at the moment. If it wasn't just some... Re-awakening of the spirit animals. That was until two days ago - now, the whole packs have transformed once again. Every night Jacob had turned into a wolf, he growled sadly when he realized there was someone he hadn't heard before - first, it was Quil alone. The man was confused, as most of them. Both of them were praying for Quil to be the last. But he wasn't - Embry and Seth coming right the night after Quil's turning. Leah was the last to join. In the meantime, Sam's pack turned at once as well. It was just like five years ago.
'Welcome back to the game, chief.' - Seth's happy and joyful voice started to talk inside Jacob's head. As he was getting closer to the manger of the Calawah river, he could hear two other wolves joining him. It was Embry and Seth - rest of the pack got their tasks the last night and went on a watch and tracking the vampire pack. Jake could hear most of the things Quil and Leah told them. - 'We know they are here. We captured the smell...' - The leader mumbled to Seth, running along the river. They weren't sprinting because there wasn't a reason to do so. Quil nor Leah hadn't smelled the rotten tomato stench the whole day, as if the vampires had suddenly disappeared into the thin air.
'Don’t worry, Jake. We'll take all of them down.' - Embry answered from the other side. Dear Lord, Jacob almost didn't notice that Embry is there, even if he knew that he's coming. He could be so quiet at times. - 'I'm silent like death, yeah, suit yourself.' - Embry answered Jake's flow of thoughts, making a few pampering sounds. This was how the wolves were laughing. To some, it could sound almost horrifying, but it made Jacob giggle as well. Giggling, when the boys were in their animal forms was a wild combination of growling and strange throat sounds. - 'Yeah, but admit, it's strange. No stench, no track, we can't find them. It's like playing blind man's buff.'
The vampires seemed to be poking around in the woods as if they were trying to find a blind spot. Maybe they already did find some. But Charlie, when Jacob was calling him earlier, didn't report any missing person. Yet all of them were sure that as soon as the vampires find the smallest cranny in the defense, it will go down. As soon as they smell a chance, it will go down. At last, this half of the pack was on the meeting point. Sam was already sitting there, watching Jacob approaching the estuary of the Bogachiel and Quillayute rivers. - 'Keep it down for a moment, alright, boys?' - Jacob asked Embry and Seth, who were waiting in a respectful distance. Embry was almost always quiet and Seth, even though there was a huge grin on his face, knew better than talking to alphas communicating. - 'I have news from Quil and Leah. They were walking the trail up at Calawah. What about your people?' - There was no greeting needed - the russet wolf simply shook his head at the bigger, black one. - 'Nothing. It's like searching for a ghost.'
Jacob had to say, that even if he wasn't in Sam's pack anymore, he liked that Sam kept it simple - no matter what happened, Sam never gave anyone too complex orders. - 'Nothing on our part of the territory as well. We will be trying to search through the North, there's lesser of us. Would your pack take the South?' - Jacob planned on trying to search through the whole Northern region, up to the Ozette Lake. There was a lot of tricky canyons smaller rivers, pounds and the vegetation was thick there as well. There was a suspicion that maybe, this time, this group of vampires was hiding next to a water source. He already had experience with the leeches hiding in the sea, why wouldn't they bivouac in a lake? - 'Sure. I'll send Jared and Brady to Hoh Ox, Lucas, and I will go a bit western closer to Oil city. We'll gather here in the morning and give all the information to Seth so he can tell everything to the morning patrol, okay?' - Without answering the question, Jacob and the rest of his small pack got up, running through the ice-cold waters of the river.
Most of the night, it was quiet and calm - sometimes, when the silence was too long, Seth started to throw in some jokes. Most of them were pretty cringe, but some made Jacob snicker under his breath. It was almost time to regroup and set to the meeting point when the whole pack felt it through Embry's eyes. The fur on the back of his neck stood up, his whole body tensed, and growls unintentionally escaped through his tests. Just as he saw a woman standing on top of one huge cliff, looking down on him, the pack tried to get to Embry's position as soon as possible.
The animal wasn't holding anything back - as soon as it saw the woman, it sprang forward to kill her. But she just leaned her head to her shoulder, furrowing at the sight. It appeared as if she wasn't even taken away by seeing such a huge wolf. Based on the stench, she realized this wasn't just some wolf, but she hadn't even flinched. - 'Embry, don't!' - Jacob cried out just when Embry made his way onto the cliff, trying to take the cold woman down. Yet just when the wolf almost caught her ankle in his mouth, she jumped down while still studying every move the animal made.
She wasn't supposed to attack, no. Her posture was strictly curious, careful - the woman might tease them a bit, see how they react, but she surely wasn't about to strike back. She was a scout, sent there by her pack to study the animals. Sam's pack might've encountered another one. - 'Back off, Embry. She's just playing with you!' - Seth, who realized it as well, called out. - 'He's right. wait for us and then we'll try to chase her down!' - Jacob yelled at his friend and jumped onto the lake's beach, circling at the woman's back. It didn't take too long until Seth slowly walked out of the woods on the other side. The woman was quietly scanning all of them and Jacob's size certainly did surprise her. Embry was huge - but Jacob was even bigger.
'We won't catch her, no matter what we do. She isn't going to attack.' - Seth realized and started analyzing her back. At this, the woman smiled and started to lean her head just like Seth was. The pack was still closing on her, but as soon as she would feel threatened she'll simply run away. - "Interesting." - She mumbled and closed her eyelids a bit. - "We don't wanna hurt you. We won't be attacking you or your packs - we just want free access to the city, that's it." - The woman cried out. A terrifying grin appeared on her face for a second as the thought she might succeed. The deep growling came from everyone's mouth at the same time, giving her exactly the answer she needed. - "So you have chosen death. I'll tell it to the others." - And with that, she disappeared. As if she wasn't there, as if she just disappeared into the thin air. The wolves watched each other. The scent didn't lead them too far into the woods, it was as if the woman was just a dream.
Forks, 9:00 a.m.:
You were sleeping in the bed, safe and sound. Your mouth tasted disgusting, and you had a slight headache - you didn't even want to see your damn hair. Even if you knew it was just a lie, the room felt too warm for a moment. For the first time during your road trip, you weren't feeling cold. Lazily, you searched for your phone and read through the news and such. Then your eyes flought to the clock - oh Lord, Jacob had to open the workshop already, hadn't he? And there you were, laying in the bed, covered in a thick blanket.
Never in your life before, you had dressed as quick as you did that morning. Just when you wanted to run into the bathroom, as you opened door to your room, you heard snoring shaking every piece of pottery. With a straight face, you looked at its source - it was the man himself, somehow puzzled on his small sofa - his hands and one of his leg were laying on the ground, his hair was way messier than yours and also, the blanket was too small for someone like him. Jesus, he must've come back so late, you didn't even want to stop yourself.
As you were tiptoeing around the sofa, you noticed something - his feet. They were covered in soil and needles as if he was walking around in the woods barefooted. What was he doing late, in the woods, and barefooted? Was he searching the best location for a grave? Was he checking out his secret killer case hidden in the woods? With risen eyebrows, you locked yourself in the bathroom. At first, you thought he was just working late. That was it. But the soil on his feet made you insecure. Quickly, you brushed your teeth, combed your hair, and sneaked out of the flat. For a moment, you were thinking about walking to talk to Charlie.
While standing in front of the back door, you were biting on your lower lip and tried to figure out what to do. But in the end, you closed the door again and walked to the 'Administration office' to work on another part of the messy paperwork. Dear Lord, Jacob was bad with bureaucracy. In this, he was honest with you. Sometimes, you couldn't even read what was written down on the paper - so you were re-writing the text and sums on a fresh document while lamenting about his messy handwriting. Jacob came in barely half an hour after you. Yet the man was so quiet he almost gave you a heart attack as he stood in the cubbyhole's doorframe. - "Morning to you too." - The man grinned at you when you finally realized he's standing there and yelled out loud for the God's sake. - "Am I looking that bad?" - The man looked all over his body to see if there was something wrong. He was now looking way better than when you saw him laying on the sofa.
His hair was put into a man bun once more, he changed his clothes and presumably took a quick shower. You didnt know what was hiding under these socks. - "I just... Didn't hear you coming. I was really into reading your 'Volkswagen repair... Re-hair..'. Fuck, I can't read it." - With that, you sighed and tried to figure out the hieroglyphs once again. Jacob grinned at your attempts and drank a sip out of his mug of coffee. Silently, you looked him in the eyes - there were deep, black circles. Well, you weren't surprised. Sleeping on that sofa must've messed with him. Yet even the color in his face seemed to be fading away. - "Man, you have coffee?" - You cried out instead of asking him weird, personal questions. - "Uh, I don't wanna break it down to you... But most people have coffee at home or at work. You want some?"
And he brought you the promised cup - along with a slice of apple pie from Mrs. Peterson. Nothing seemed to be wrong. Jacob was working on his cars, humming most of the songs playing on the radio, while you finished the first few months of that year's paperwork. With an overly concentrated face, you categorized the papers into files, thoroughly writing the months they've containing. That was it for the most part.
Sometimes, when your ass started to hurt, you walked around the workshop, and once, you were so courageous that you took your jacket and walked into the freezing Forks. You never walked too far - but dear Lord, wasn't it cold? The mist wasn't supposed to come out of your mouth in August. It couldn't be more than 46 degrees outside, Jesus Christ. And Tacoma was even more on the North.
You've discovered a few peculiarities on your way. There was a real good looking steak restaurant, a library, and a local high school... Which didn't look like high school at all, in your opinion. For the locals, it was clear as a day you weren't from Forks - mainly because anyone who was from the North wouldn't be shaking because they felt cold. The more courageous ones even stopped you, mostly the older women living in the town just so they could brag about talking to the new girl in town. However, they were respectful and nice, always laughing at your attempts to joke.
"Huh. I was thinking about searching for you. I thought you might've frozen somewhere." - Jacob hummed from under the car he was working on at the moment. It looked like an old minivan. Oh, you'd like seeing me freezing somewhere, might as well get your goal easier, huh? You thought to yourself. You also noticed that the radio was playing the Sea Wolf song (which you've heard at least ten times since you arrived at Forks) and that Jacob knew every word of the song. Well, he couldn't be considered a singer, yet this was slightly against your care of this huge man being a killer. What killer would be singing a love song so blatantly? - "I just met some lady named Karen Newton? She was nice, but I couldn't get out of the conversation, dear Lord." - "Oh, old Mrs. Newton? She's super nosy. What was she asking you about?" - Suddenly, his face appeared from under the car as he was searching for his rug. - "The basics, I guess. Why I'm here, what's my name, how old I am... She seemed very happy when I told her how old I am." - Throughout the small talk, you've taken off your jacket and sat on the 'Administration office's' chair while looking at Jacob drinking a whole cup of super hot coffee. His eating and drinking habits were making you a bit uneasy, but whatever.
"Dear Lord. I'll tell you why is that." - The man sat on his small chair as well, looking back at you. - "She has a son named Mike. And she's trying to find him a girlfriend... Again. Do expect the boy suddenly appearing here soon." - Oh. Okay. So she wasn't just nice... She was trying to figure out if you're good enough for her son. Mrs. Newton didn't seem to be thrilled by your career choice, but her eyes started to shine when you answered her question about having a partner. - 'No, I'm single.' - You told her. That was a misstep. - "But, worry not, even though he's not on my list of favorite people, most people say he's a nice guy." - "Unbelievable!" - A squeal came out of you as you started to laugh from the bottom of your belly. - "I'm here one day and you already think about who I should date. Oh God, that's why I don't like small towns!"
Jacob smiled into his mug. He hadn't seen someone laugh so hard for a long time - and honestly, it was nice to take some time off the vampire-hunting thing to think about stupidities like dating and such. - "I just think that two weeks is a lot of time. This seems like fun." - The man mumbled and climbed back on his small assembly bed. You couldn't understand how the thing could be still standing on its small wheels under his weight, but you weren't wrapping your brain around it too much. - "I also saw a pretty dope steak house like... Five minutes from here." - Okay, this was interesting. His head appeared from below the car once again. - "Do I look like I'm looking for someone to date? No, thank you." - With that, he disappeared again, leaving you to sit there with a subdued expression.
This was straightaway rude. There was the cold, annoyed man once more. And yes, it almost ruined your day. Jacob just flipped at least by 180° in front of you, showing you the fed up man once again. It was the mysterious Bella, wasn't it? Also, who was asking him out on a date? There was a cool-looking restaurant near the workshop and you didn't want to cook all the damn time. Dear Lord, you were in the temptation to spit something about split personality disorder, but you just sipped your coffee to keep your mouth shut. - "All I'm saying is that instead of sitting there the whole time and cooking all the time, we might at least consider take out." - Well, you were firing in the same tone as he was. Under the car, he muttered out a few curse words. The man realized he might go too harsh after you.
It was just... It sounded like a date proposition, to be honest. And there was a lot of going on for Jacob at the moment - the stress of shifting again, a vampire hunt... And to be honest, he still didn't get over what happened with Bella - so even though you didn't have any idea about who the hell she was, you were right in this. - "Sure. Take out sounds good." - Jacob told you when you were sitting in your cubbyhole once again, continuing to do your job.
The rest of the day was more or less quiet and calm - Jacob finished the minivan and started to poke around with your Beetle, at least until an old man came for the car. As you got to know when he introduced himself, this was Mr. Newton and Karen's husband. When he realized who you were, he started to apologize for his wife and the bunch of super-weird and awkward questions. He promised you that in any case, his son won't be asking you out just because Karen liked you. No way in hell.
It was that evening when Jacob finished half of the first step with your car - he cleaned most of the inside, mainly around the engine, and started to make a specific list. Said list was meaningless to you since you didn't know jack shit about cars. But Jacob seemed to know what he was doing, so you just continued with doing what you were doing. When the Sea Wolf were playing for the seventh time, that day alone, you were already sure about every word in the chorus. You were singing it along with Jacob.
When it got late, it was time for you to perform a subtle observation of Jacob's behavior. Around the same time as the previous evening, you pretended that you're sleepy as hell - and told him you're going to bed. And since you got to the bed, after a proper hot shower, it was the waiting game from that point on. You've been pretending that you're sleeping and you did so for such a long time that you almost fell asleep for real. But creaking of the floor made you aware that he ended his work in the shop. For a moment, it seemed that he's listening if you're sleeping. After a few pretty convincing snores, you've heard the door creaking again and the door to the small flat locking. With your breath hitched, you tiptoed to the window, leaned your thighs into the warm hearing, and looked from the window - you've heard him locking the garage, so the only possible exit was right under your window.
And he soon came out - he was half-naked, dressed in some torn pants, barefoot again, looking around as if he was making sure that there's no-one who would be watching him. There was a small moment where your breath hitched completely. What in the world was Jacob doing there, without a t-shirt when it was still just 46 degrees there? Quickly, he ran to the woods - and he didn't come out for the whole half an hour you've been looking at the exact spot where he disappeared.
Your throat got swollen as you climbed under the blanket again. Sure, you had the suspicion he might hurt you at some point, but you knew that the fear is irrational for the most part. You've been just freaked out by large dudes since... That happened. This was making you feel very uneasy and unsafe. Who would disappear in the woods dressed like that when it was so damn cold? How long was he just walking around? Or what was he doing in there?
Could he be a killer of sorts? Was this man dangerous? Did he hurt someone before? Bullocks, you stopped yourself. Charlie seemed to be fond of the man. And he was the crown cop of Forks. No way in hell police chief would be in on this as well... Or would he? The terror was making your sleep very bad. You were waking up every half an hour because you had pretty vivid, intense nightmares.
It was at around three in the morning, you've been up for some time, when you heard Jacob walking into the flat, locking the door behind him. He was... Limbing? It sounded as if he had trouble walking straight - he knocked something over on his way to the sofa. When he crashed there, a loud sound made you aware he did so, you heard him whine for a while before he got up again - presumably to put some clothes on. Then, after some time, you heard his body falling onto the small sofa once more. With closed eyes, you've been listening to the whole process and the silence after. After another hour of laying in the bed, not letting out a single sound, you carefully got up. Deep snoring was residing through the few rooms Jacob had in his flat. You've opened up the door carefully, making sure it won't creak and stuck your head out. With a furrow, your gaze scanned the sleeping man.
Again, his hair was let down, the blanket was too small for him and his whole feet were covered in the soil. Did he think you won't notice? As you closed the door, you sighed against your will. There has been something going on in Forks - and Jacob was heavily involved in this. You decided to observe him for at least two days, to make sure he does this regularly and then... What will you do then? As you laid under the blanket again, your legs got cold and you finally realized what you had to do.
You had to follow him and see what was going on.

Day 6 of Sanderstober!!!
“Day 6: Character Swap - Take the hero and villain of a horror movie and switch their roles. - Submitted by Quil!”
A very low effort, basic sketch where Seymour actually just a serial killer in Little Shop of Horrors while poor Audrey II is an innocent, helpless not-carnivorous plant who just wants to stop him.

"Water Balloons" - Paul Lahote x Reader
Tumblr media
Prompts: "You're not very intimidating." and "This is not very fair."
a small lil Paul piece, no tears here, folks. this one is fluffy 😤
The group of large men standing in front of me boomed with laughter, only making it more difficult for me to keep a serious tone.
I walked out of Paul and I's house to not only be merely greeted by Jared and Quil, but to be pelted by the three of them with water balloons.
"(Y/N), it's Summer, it's only fair!" Jared laughs, holding his stomach.
I roll my eyes before picking up one of the stray balloons off the ground.
"Calm down, babe. You don't need to do this." Paul impishly grins, walking over closer to me.
"I definitely do." I smirk, holding the water balloon up higher as a warning.
My clothes were absolutely drenched, my hair was ruined. It was only fair for me to get revenge.
"Easy there, killer." Jared jokes.
"I'll do it." I threaten, closing the distance between Paul and I, his large frame towering over mine.
"You're not very intimidating." He whispers into my ear with a wink.
"Oh, that so?" I raise an eyebrow.
"It is so, sorry baby." He chuckles, his arms finding their way to my waist.
I quickly threw the water balloon at him, exploding the weapon of choice on impact before running away.
"Oh it's over." I heard Paul's maniacal laughter as he chased after me.
My terrified laughs were overpowered by the hysterical laughter coming from Jared, Quil, and Paul from afar.
I felt feverish hands pick me up, throwing me someone's shoulder.
Paul's shoulder.
"This is not very fair." I huff, hitting Paul's back lightly to make him let me down.
"Oh it is, it's fair for me." Paul chuckles.
"Put me down!" I shriek, watching as Jared and Quil approached with more water balloons in their hands.
But the chilly water met my skin once again, causing goosebumps to prickle the surface, except for whatever part of me was in direct contact with Paul's burning touch.
"Make me." He teases, giving my thigh a slight squeeze.

18. things you said when you were scared, jacob and bella? 🥺 (never requested before but love all your fics I’ve read so far tht I’ve read) ❤️
thank you so much ur too kind!!!
“things you said when you were scared”
The line had been long when they first arrived, but at least it was moving quickly. Bella and Jake were on a double date with Quil and Embry, at a haunted house in Forks. It felt like the whole town was here, and if the screams from the inside were any indication, they were in for a good time.
Bella wrapped her jacket tighter around herself and stomped her feet, trying to bring some warmth into them. Jacob rolled his eyes and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to his body. Bella smiled in gratitude, snuggling into his side.
“Heard this one’s really good,” Bella said, moving forward to buy their tickets.
“Truly terrifying costumes,” Embry agreed. “And a killer set.”
“Possibly literally,” Jacob said, wiggling his eyebrows. Quil laughed while the others groaned.
“Might see some real ghosts, eh?” Quil joked, slapping Jacob’s hand in a high five.
“If so, I’m out,” Bella said, twisting out of Jacob’s arms and grabbing her wallet from her bag. She bought all their tickets, distributing them amongst her friends and boyfriend while waiting for their turn to go in. They sat down on a nearby bench to wait it out.
“Not interested in ghost hunting, Bella?” Quil asked with a laugh.
“Intentionally searching for angry spirits? No, thank you,” Bella said, shaking her head.
“I’m with Bella,” Embry said.
“Cowards,” Jacob scoffed.
“Big words for someone who has to watch our horror movie marathons through his fingers,” Bella challenged.
Jacob opened his mouth as if to respond, then closed it when he realised he had nothing to say. He was pouting instead. The others laughed.
Just then, an employee of the house motioned for them to step forward, entering the first room. “Have a de-fright-ful time,” he said, closing the door behind him. Quil and Emvry exchanged looks then burst out laughing, drawing an eye roll from Jacob.
“It’s all part of the experience!” he said, throwing his hands up.
“He’s right, guys,” Bella said solemnly. “Bad puns are terrifying.” They laughed harder at that, leading Jacob to stand there with his arms crossed.
“Fine, fine. Gang up on me. See if I ever take us anywhere cool again,” he said, glaring at each one in turn.
“Didn’t Bella drive?” Quil asked.
“And find the place?” Embry added.
“Come on guys. Let’s leave my man alone and have some clowns jump out at us.” Quil and Embry made a face at that comment. Jacob took her hand, squeezing it before traveling through the first hallway. The others quickly followed. They made their way through the house, screaming and jumping back at all the right parts. It wasn’t as good as the reviews had promised, but it was still a good time.
“The most frightening thing about that was the lack of real ghosts. I wanted to see some action!” Jacob said as they exited.
“Sorry, man. There’s always next year,” Embry said. He stopped, looking around. “Has anyone seen Quil?”
“He was right behind us,” Bella said, stopping too. Jacob craned his neck to look around. Out of the corner of her eye, Bella watched as Quil snuck up behind Jacob, clapping him on the back as he shouted “boo!” Embry and Bella doubled over laughing as Jacob jumped a foot in the air, letting out an impressively high-pitched scream.
“I’m going to get you for that!” he declared once he had recovered, chasing after Quil, who was already halfway across the parking lot.
“What dorks,” Embry said as he watched them run off.
“Yeah,” Bella agreed. “But they’re our dorks.”

Little Vixen Pt. 2
Part 1, Part 3
A/N: Thank you for being so patient. It’s hard being a teacher these days, life is getting so busy that I can barely find time to sit down and write. I should mention that this timeline is a bit jumbled together. The Cullens recently left but the wolves have all turned except for the littles (Colin and Brady). Anyway, I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
Wolf Pack POV
The pack followed the fox and german shepherd to a small spot with boulders and overgrown bushes. They looked like they were just exploring their new surroundings.
“I didn't know there were other shifters." Leah said watching as the fox ducked in and out of the bushes.
"The elders never said there were others. I always thought we were the only ones." Sam said.
"She probably heard the leaches left and came to look for new hunting grounds. We should kill her." Paul added casually.
"She's literally playing in the bushes with her dog. How does that look like a killer?" Jared asked.
"I'm just saying we should kill her before we find out." Paul said body ready to lung into the small clearing.
“Why do you always want to kill. Are you secretly a serial killer or something?” Embry joked.
“Yeah you’re always so violent.” Quil added.
Caught up in their own conversation they didn't notice when they lost sight of the fox.
"Where did she go?" Jared asked. They looked around trying to catch a glimpse of red fur. All they could see was the dog laying down by the boulders trying to take a nap.
They were about to approach the clearing to start looking for the fox when a noise behind them raised their hackles. Just as they turned to face the noise a flash of red and white fur jumped at the nearest wolf.
Sam was too stunned to know what to do. She wasn't attacking him so biting her didn’t seem like the right thing to do. Looking back at his pack he could tell they were just as surprised. Seeing their alpha, a giant black wolf, laying on his side confused as a fox pounced around him. They looked like they weren't sure if they should intervene or laugh.
Finally, Leah broke the silence with her laughter. The fox looked over to her and with the same excitement as before jumped around her. Leah didn't mind, instead she played along pawing at the fox.
"What the fuck is happening." Paul asked.
"I think Leah made a new friend." Embry replied. He looked just as delighted as the fox.
"Enough," Sam's voice rang out. "Who are you?"
The fox stepped away from Leah turning to face Sam. They all expected to hear a reply but a small yipping sound was all they could hear. Clearly confused Sam tried again.
"What are you doing here?"
Again, they got high pitched barks in reply.
"Can you even understand what we're saying." Jared asked instead.
The fox, looking just as confused, nodded her head.
"What, are you mute?" Paul mumbled.
"Dude, how would that even make sense? We listen to each other's thoughts." Jacob said.
"Then maybe she doesn't have any." Paul added.
A small growl emitted from the fox before she jumped at Paul, barking in his face. He growled in return, his muscles winding up ready to attack. Both pair of eyes locked and focused on their target, but before anything could happen a wall of fur got in the way.
"I'm going to take her to my place and see is we can talk after shifting back. I'll see you idiot's later." Leah said nudging the fox back into the clearing.
"Are you sure you can handle it Leah?" Sam asked.
"Please, what's there to handle." Leah looked down at the fox who wasn't much smaller than her. "You coming?"
The fox yipped up at her and ran towards the german shepherd. The dog sleepily opened its eyes he wasn't even the slightest bit worried to see the giant wolves.
"Can I come?" Seth asked sitting next to Leah.
"No."
"Why?" He almost whined.
"I don't think she'd feel comfortable talking to a boy who saw her strip in the woods." Leah replied.
A surprised bark came from the fox. The rest of the pack burst into laughter as they dragged a stammering Seth away.
“We’ll be waiting at Emily’s.” Sam said before following the boys.
"I swear I wasn't looking!" Seth tried defending himself.
"Please, it's all you've been thinking about." Jared chuckled.
"But you saw her too!" Seth’s voice rang out as they got further away.
Leah rolled her eyes and looked back at the fox. This was an interesting turn of events that she was sure would lead to more surprises.

Reader POV
It was the last thing you expected to find in this damp old town. A pack of wolf shifters. Back in California you had met different types of paranormal creatures that would stumble their way into the state. Coyote shifters from the south, mountain lions from the Grand Canyon, even a humanoid wolf from the north east.
You didn’t know you were walking through a packs territory until you heard their thoughts slowly creeping up on you. It was obvious they were stalking you through the woods even if you couldn’t hear them. They were careless in concealing their massive size behind trees and bushes.
Coming to a clearing with boulders to one side and berry bushes on the other you decided you wanted to meet them. Moose could sense the wolves nearby and looked like he wanted to investigate. Not wanting to give away that you knew they were watching you; you started jumping around the bushes trying to get Moose’s attention. It’s not long before Moose gets tired from playing along. Having him lay down next to the boulders he instantly starts to snore.
With Moose sleeping your able to sneak off into the woods and around behind the wolf pack. You can hear their confusion and decision to go out and look for you. Before they get a chance to wake Moose up you jump out of the bushes and crash into the nearest wolf. It was all too exciting finding another pack that you pounced around while the giant black wolf laid on his side stunned.
“Hi, I’m [Y/N], what’s your name?” You asked the wolf.
Guessing he was still shocked you waited for his reply but were interrupted by a laugh to your side. You noticed the gray wolf laughing in a feminine voice. There were few female shifters so finding one was always a happy sight.
“Hi!” You said greeting her. She seemed happy too by the way she laughed along and played with you.
The other wolves started talking amongst themselves before you heard a deep voice behind you.
“Who are you?” He asked.
“Uh, [Y/N] I already told you.” You snickered thinking he had already forgotten.
“What are you doing here?” He asked with a bit of uncertainty in his voice.
“My mom and I just moved here.”
"Can you even understand what we're saying." The dark brown one said.
Now it was your turn to be confused. You nodded your head to signal that you could hear them. Were they really not able to hear you? This hadn’t happened when you met other shifters.
You are too busy trying to come up with an answer to the communication issue that you aren’t paying close attention to the conversation between two of the wolves. That is until you caught the part where one of them basically said you were braindead.
You growled jumping in his direction. “Are you saying I’m stupid?” You barked in his face.
It was obvious now that they couldn’t hear you. Instead of a reply you got a growl in return. He looked ready to attack and you weren’t about to give in just because he was bigger than you.
Before anything happened, another wolf got in the way nudging you away. It was the female suggesting taking you to her place to talk as humans. It was a good idea, not only to understand what’s going on but also getting to know someone in this town.
As you went to wake up Moose you heard them talking behind you. It almost made you laugh when they asked her if she could handle the situation. Then you heard her mention that one of them had seen you strip before shifting.
An embarrassed yelp escaped you before you could stop it. You honestly thought you were alone when you did that. It was a waste of time and money buying new clothes that you decided a long time ago that taking them off was much more efficient. Now it didn’t seem like such a good decision.
You watched as they dragged the young wolf away who seemed just as embarrassed as you were. After they disappeared into the woods the female turned to you and nudged her head in the opposite direction. You followed her with Moose trailing after you.
“My place isn’t far from here. I’m Leah by the way.” She said.

Total Opposite (part 5)
Paul Lahote x swan reader
Masterlist
Tumblr media
After that day at the forest with Paul, i slowly start to get close with the others. Uncle Harry told me everything that i need to know and he assured me that I'll be safe with the Quileute and don't have to worry about anything.
Me and the Clearwaters still hangout together after school, despite Paul always want me to spend time with him. But i can't help it. We are just friends, and i'm not ready to step into another level.
Unfortunately, Seth and Leah phased not long after, surprised both Uncle Harry and Sue. Now, they are joining Sam's pack. Seth totally happy about his new ability, while Leah didn't take it well, get caught between Sam and Emily. I feel bad about her, so i tried to be there for her, cheer her up and make her feel comfortable enough on the pack.
Oh, by the way, Bella already told me everything about Cullens. She said that the one who saved me back then was Carlisle. But she never push me to meet them yet. "I just wanted you to know that not every vampires are bad. The one with red eyes eat people and you have to be carefull around them. But the golden eyes are safe. They are vegetarian. When you are ready, i'll let you meet them. Carlisle always asked me if you are okay now..." I tried to accept the fact that my sister close to a family of vampires and she's so fine with it. "I'll try to understand it, okay? I still need time.." she nod understandingly.
Who can imagine that only 2 days later i get attacked by a red hair vampire? Lucky me.
I'm driving my car after doing groceries. It still in the afternoon and usually it's totally okay. But, to my bad luck, someone or i can say a woman, with red hair standing in the middle of the road, making me break hard. My car turn around a few times before crashing into a tree. With a blurry views and heachaches, i barely see the red hair woman walk toward me and drag me out of the car. I groan in pain. She crunched down and look me straight into my eyes, her red eyes glowing. My breath hitch as the memories flowing into my head. I can't find my voice nor move my body as she reach down my throat, licking her lips. "Your blood smell so nice... like your sister. Maybe if i can't have your sister, i can have you as a dinner." She said, making me frightened.
Her mouth slowly reach my neck, as her tried to suck me up to death. I can't think about anything. Not even thinking about help or getting out of her. But before she can suck my blood, a loud growl coming from the trees, making the woman turn to see the creatures.
A big massive black wolf is growling at her, baring his teeth. Behind him, walk one by one a bunch of wolves. The red hed woman release me and stand up. She mutteted something under breath and run aways shortly being chased by the wolves. One wolf stand infront of me, then he crunch down, licks my face. With blurry views, i notice that the wolf is Paul, from his grey fur. Then, beside me there's sandy fur wolf, poking me on my hands, whining. Seth.
Not long after, both of them change back into human form, wearing a cut short jeans. Paul run into me, crunching down and pick me up bridal style. I groan in pain as he pick me up. "Hang in there, okay? Seth, call your mom. Let's meet up at Emily's." Seth nod and run into different path as me and Paul head back to Emily. I realised his hands are shaking while carrying me. I try to look up at him, seeing his hard face.
"I'm... fine...." i whispers, slowly find my voice. Paul tightening his grip. "No, you're not.. i nearly lose you..."
Soon after we arrive at Emily's. As Paul lay me down on the sofa, Emily has been busy taking a bowl of warm water and towel to clean up my wounds. Sue comes later with Seth, with some medical equipments on her hands. She quickly treated my wound and give me pain killers and some medicines.
"Luckily her wounds aren't deep. She just need some rest for a few days and she will be fine." She said after taking care of me. The boys and Leah already back in the middle of my treatment.
"(Y/n), you should stay here. I'll prepare the guest room for you. I'll call Charlie to let him know that you will stay us." Sam said.
"Will he be okay?" I'm not sure Dad will be okay with me staying with Sam and the others.
"I'll let him know that (y/n) will be staying with us. I'll take care of it." Sue suggest, since she also close with Dad. Sam nod in agreement.
Sue, Leah and Seth go home short after, Emily is preparing my room to stay, Paul and the guys are with me, sitting or standing close to me, like they are guarding me. "Just go home, guys.. i'll be safe here.." i said, feeling bad about them.
"Jared, Embry and Paul will be staying here. Jacob and Quil will guard your home. Victoria must be hunting Bella too." Sam said as the boys nod.
"(Y/n), the room is ready. Come on, let's move you so you can rest well." Emily walk down and Paul pick me up slowly, bridal style, and head up into the guest room. He lay me down softly on the bed and lay himself beside me, hugging me under his chin, securing me.
"I'm sorry... i couldn't protect you well.." he whispered, almost crying. I sigh softly. "It's not your fault. We didn't know that she hunt me too. It's okay. I'll be fine, don't worry."
"Still... with you having that traumatized moment, and with that red hair woman..." I pat his hand, which hug me tightly on my waist, snuggling more into his warmth. "Let's sleep okay? You are here now, with the others, and i finally can rest well.." i start to drift into darkness and soon sleep consume me.
~~
In a days where i'm healing, the packs start to have join power with the Cullens and train with them, when they heard about a new born army lead by Victoria. She targeted Bella for revenge to Cullen since they killed her mate, James. Classic.
"We will go for a war with the new borns in a few days." Sam said as the packs are having a lunch at Emily. Paul grip on my body tighten as i sit on him, eating lunch.
"How about Bella?" I asked.
"She will be with Jacob and Edward, staying in the mountain, while the rest of us fighting the new born." Jared said as my eyes widen.
"What?! Are you serious?! What the hell?!" My usual calm attitude, snap as i heard about it. The others flinch at my sudden attitude, shock that i snap like that. "Edward and Jacob didn't fight?! What the hell is that! That's not fair."
"(Y/n)... calm down... maybe they have another strategy.." Paul, shockingly, the one who calm me down. I huff and continue to eat my lunch.
"It's fine, (y/n).. maybe Edward try to hide your sister scent or lure Victoria to him.... we don't know.. just believe that everything will be okay." Sam try to assured me.
"Still.. if one of you get hurt, i'll definitely kill her myself." I murmured, gulping down my lunch.
Paul laugh softly, kissing my side head. "I never knew you can be this fierce.."
"You better not know, Paul... but she really can kill people if she's mad..." Seth murmured, knowing very well about me. "Better not make her angry if you don't want to die.." the guys laugh loudly. And that we start to enjoy our lunch before the war.
Emily, Kim and I are waiting impatiently for the packs to come back from the war. We silently pray that all of them are okay and not hurt. But when Seth running hurriedly toward us, we knew that something must happened.
"Jake's hurt. He's at Billy's waiting for Carlisle to help him."
Me and Emily hurriedly go to Billy's while Kim had to come home. As we arrive at Billy's, i immediately go to Paul and hug him tightly. Part of me relief that he's okay, and part of me because i'm scared about Jacob. Paul hug me back tightly and kiss my head. "I'm fine... everything will be fine.. Jake will be fine..." He keeps saying it.
Carlisle arrive later, and hurriedly get inside the house with Sam. Short after, Jake's scream fill the air. I flinch and burried my head into Paul's arm, hugging him by the waist tightly. Seth, who stand beside me, rub my hand, try to calm me down. While Paul, hugging me and with his hands close my ears so i don't really heard Jake's scream.
The sound of car engine approaching us take our attention. Bella's truck is parking and she hurriedly walk toward us. I glare at my sister, want to yell at her, but Paul held me down. "It's been going on a while, doc rebreaking his bone so it can heal properly." Jared said.
"Why did he had to butt in? I could take him." Leah said with so much guilt on her voice. I know it's not her fault.
"Oh, give it a rest, Leah." Paul snap. I tighten my grip on his waist, try to just drop it.
Soon, the scream died down and Carlisle walk out with Sam. "He's fine. I give him a medicine and his body temperature will burn it off soon." He said as Billy sigh in relief. I sigh and slowly loosen my grip on Paul, looking at the others. "He is searching for you, Bella." I glare at my sister. Why must her? How about Billy?
"Thankyou." Billy offer his hand to Carlisle which he return. Then he is off, back home maybe.
Bella glance at Billy as he nod, approving, and Bella get inside the house. I huff, annoyingly. Paul rub my back slowly. "She's so annoying..." i murmured.
"Calm down, (y/n)... it's not partly Bella's fault..." Seth said.
I raise my eyebrows. "Really? To me it still her fault.. because she's having a relationship with vampires that it end up like this." I snap with so much venom.
"(Y/n), dear.. calm down.." Sue said, softly, and Billy just smile.
I groan and freeing myself from Paul's grip. "I'll go back to Emily's.. i don't want to say something that i'll regret."
Sam nod understandingly. "Paul, go with her. Emily, you too. We can handle this." He said.
So the three of us back to Emily's to call it a day. As Emily prepare something for Sam to eat, me and Paul are laying down on the bed, in each other arms.
What happened this few weeks with the new born army make my relationship with Paul go further. We complete each other out, and i feel more safe with him and the packs. "I'm glad that i got imprinted by you.. i could never imagine if i'm not.. what will happened to me if you guys didn't save me from Victoria. I'm thinking about my Dad, but having Uncle Billy and Uncle Harry being with him make me calmer. But, Bella.. huh.. even if i want her happiness, but this are so stupid.. having a happy relationship with vampires.. i can't imagine it. And this is what happened..."
Paul look down at me, who lying on his arms, hugging his waist tightly. "Me too... if i didn't met you and imprinted on you, maybe i'll never change and always be the bad guy. But you change me to a better man. I never imagine thay i'll be the one who calm you down.." he chuckle. "I'm gratefull that our ancestor pick you to become my imprint. I could never ask for more. Just you by my side is enough for me."
We, enjoying each other warmth, talking so much about our relationship and life ahead. The bond is deeper now. And i'm ready to take this into another level. "Are you sure? I won't push you if you are not ready yet.."
"I'm ready, Paul... besides it just a boyfriend and girlfriend thing.." i shrug.
"So, will you be my girlfriend, (y/n) Swan?" He asked, smile widely. I look up at him. "Of course. Why do you still ask if you already know the answer?"
"Just want to make it more formal?" We both laugh and enjoying the night. Slowly drifting into sleep as tiredness hit both of us.
