Alright, I said I would do it. My OC pairings and their engagement rings and wedding rings. Any pairings I exclude I just haven't gotten that far in planning any of that.
Silas x Copia:
Copia would propose to Silas with this ring [gold with a forest-y tree theme with two birds on each side, in the middle a light green oval gemstone]:
Tumblr media
And then I think they'd have a matching pair of this as their wedding rings? I tried finding something that wasn't just a plain gold band but made sure the design wasn't too out there [A gold band with an art deco-inspired engravement around it].
Tumblr media
Arith x Iriel:
Arith proposes to Iriel but they decide no against a ring because they figured it might be too obvious. They just have plain gold wedding bands. But they'd choose something with a hidden engraved phrase. I think Arith's would say "my moon" and Iriel's "my sun" or Arith's would say "always" and Iriel's "forever"
I'm not sure specifics yet.
Tumblr media
Kaia x Odel:
Kaia proposed to Odel. And the ring probably looks like this [A gold ring with tiny diamonds placed all around it, a circular icy white jade stone in the middle]:
Tumblr media
These are what their wedding rings look like. [Matching clear resin bands with gold and dark blue pressed flowers inside].
Tumblr media
Marigold x Peter:
Marigold proposes to Peter with this ring [A silver band with a section of small silver gemstones going around it fitted inside]:
Tumblr media
And Peter's wedding ring is gold while Marigold's is silver, it's an opposite matching kind of thing. Because silver=Peter and gold=Marigold. [A gold band with plant leaves engraved around it and a silver band with plant leaves engraved around it with tiny diamonds]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rosie x Allison:
They decided to both get engagement rings because it was a more spur-of-the-moment thing where they kinda proposed to each other.
Their engagement rings are different but their wedding rings match.
Allison's is blue while Rosie's is purple (their favorite colors) [A gold ring with small silver gemstones in it that stick out a little and a rectangular blue topaz gemstone in the middle. Other ring is a gold ring with small silver gemstones on each side clustered together with a teardrop-shaped light purple gemstone in the middle]:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And their matching wedding ring [a gold ring with slight floral designs cut out of it, two small diamonds, one on each side, in the middle a silver teardrop-shaped silver gemstone]:

I thought the Halloween picture turned into a really nice portrait and it would be a waste for it to exist just as a joke, so I turned it into a proper family portrait:

@can-of-pringles, I hope this time you know how to feel about it.

Because we were just talking about it, have a pringles OC writing prompt. How about an X-Men one with Peter and Marigold. You probably know them well enough by now but there's always Mari's toyhouse.
(sentence/dialogue prompt)
"Quit smiling at me, I can't stop messing up sentences when you look at me like that,"
If you need more lmk but also no pressure
Sorry it took me so long to get around to this! It took me forever to come up with something good with this prompt, and admittedly I was a little worried that I wouldn't get Mari right. Weirdly, she was harder to write then Arith and Iriel, even though you've got so much more written for her.
But anyway, I hope this is cute! It's about 1.4k words, definitely not my longest piece of writing, but I think it's fun. Oh, and here's a song that'll be important as you read.
If there was one thing you could count on Peter Maximoff for (aside from saving lives and cracking terrible jokes), it was his taste in music. He’d been suggesting the karaoke night for weeks, but it was only when a karaoke machine mysteriously appeared in the rec room that he was able to put it into motion.
“You paid for that, right?” Marigold asked, eyeing the hunk of silver and black plastic as her partner fiddled with it. Peter twisted over his shoulder to look at her. His dark eyes were sparkling with a familiar mischievous light, and she knew the answer before he even said it.
“Sure,” he said with a shrug, though a smile kept twitching at the corners of his lips. Marigold sighed.
“You’ve got to stop doing that,” she said, “Eventually someone’s going to realize it’s you.”
“Psh,” he replied, looking amused, “I’m too good. They couldn’t catch me if they tried. And anyway, I’ll give it back tomorrow. I just need it for tonight.”
“Alright,” Mari agreed. She couldn’t say she had the cleanest record herself (it came with the territory of being an X-Man), but she figured there were worse things than just borrowing it for the night. Besides, it was a Monday - who goes out for karaoke on a Monday? They probably wouldn’t even miss it.
“Do you need help setting it up?” she asked instead, taking a few steps closer and crouching beside Peter as he kept working on the machine. He thought for a second.
“No, I think I’m okay.” he said, “But we could test it out. Gotta make sure it works before tonight.”
“What song?”
“Let’s see what’s in there,” Peter answered. He pressed a button on the side of the machine, and a CD port slid open. There was already a disc in there (Willie Nelson - yikes), but Peter plucked it out and set it on top of the machine. He leaned back on his heels, fingers drumming restlessly on his knees over the span of a few heartbeats.
“Alright, I’ve got it.” he said suddenly, then disappeared in a flash of silver. He was back almost before Mari realized he’d gone, and dropped another CD into the port with eager, excited movements.
“What’d you pick?” Marigold asked, trying to spot the label on the CD as it slid into the karaoke machine. She couldn’t quite pick it out in time.
“Stevie Nicks.” Peter answered with a grin, fighting to untangle the microphone wires. Mari smiled. He knew that was one of her favorites.
Peter bounced up to his feet, holding out a hand to her. Marigold took it and let him pull her up to her feet, accepting the microphone he handed to her. He held a second one up in front of his face.
“Testing, testing, one-two-” he started, then winced at the burst of noise that spewed through the speakers, “Shit, that’s too-”
He darted over and twisted the volume knob, grateful when the echo faded from the room. Tentatively, he lifted the microphone back up.
“Test?” he repeated, a little quieter that time, “Okay, good, that’s better. Try yours.”
Marigold lifted up her microphone, wincing a little at the smell of metal and old beer that clung to it.
“Did you get this from a bar?” she asked, forgetting that she was supposed to be testing the microphone. Peter reached out and lowered the volume before her voice could boom through the speakers.
“Yeah?” he replied, tilting his head at her, “Where else do you do karaoke?”
“I thought you took it from a RadioShack or something.” she answered, giving a sidelong look to the microphone in her hand. She knew it wasn’t exactly unclean, but there was something about it, and the thought that so many other hands had touched it before her, that made her skin crawl. It even felt a little sticky, but that might’ve just been her imagination.
Peter must have noticed her expression, because his eyebrows furrowed. A moment later, he’d zipped away again, only to return right in front of her. He had a Clorox wipe in one hand. The other reached for the microphone.
“Here, let’s wipe it off,” he said.
“You read my mind,” Marigold responded gratefully, “Be right back. I’m gonna go wash my hands.”
When she returned, feeling much better after scrubbing the unpleasant bar-smell residue off her hands, Peter was wiping down his own microphone as well. When he’d finished with that, he ran the Clorox wipe over the front of the karaoke machine, over all the buttons and knobs, then tossed it in the trash and wiped off his hands on the front of his shirt.
“Alright.” he said, “Better?”
“Much better,” she agreed, “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, honey.” He handed her the microphone once again - this time it had the pleasant if chemically lemon-smell of the Clorox wipe - then crouched down to start the song. They were greeted to soft strains of acoustic guitar, mingled with a light music-box chiming. Mari smiled as she came in with the first lyrics.
“Is love so fragile and the heart so hollow?” she sang, feeling a little self-conscious at first. She got over it quickly. There was nobody in the room but her and Peter, what was there to be embarrassed about? “Shatter with words, impossible to follow.”
From her right, she caught Peter’s eyes. She saw nothing but soft affection on his face for a moment, until he realized she was looking at him. That gentle expression was quickly replaced with teasing as he stuck his tongue out at her. Marigold rolled her eyes but kept singing.
“You’re saying I’m fragile, I try not to be,” she continued, “I search only for something I can’t see.”
Despite herself, she found her eyes straying over to Peter again. And again, she caught a flash of something warm across his face… and then he crossed his eyes at her. Mari laughed before she could stop herself.
“Stop distracting me!” she demanded, pointedly turning her eyes away from him before she could miss the next line in the song, “I have my own life, and I am stronger than you know.”
“I’m not distracting you!” Peter insisted, “I’m just looking at you! Am I not allowed to look at you?”
She elected to ignore him.
“But I carry this feeling,” Marigold sang, “When you walked into my-” She made the mistake of turning around, and found her partner giving her the goofiest expression he could muster - teeth bared, eyes bugged out, like he was doing his best impersonation of a dollar-store Halloween mask. Mari couldn’t help it. She broke down into a fit of giggles.
“Stop that!” she laughed, reaching out to push lightly at his shoulder.
“Stop what?” Peter fired back, grinning wide enough to make dimples crease his cheeks.
“Quit smiling at me!” Marigold insisted, “I can’t stop messing up sentences when you look at me like that!”
“I’m not doing anything!” Peter said, lifting his palms in surrender.
“You’re making faces!”
“What faces? Mare-bear, this is just my face!”
“Mare-bear,” she repeated, giving him a look even as she tried to hold back her own laughter, “You’re ridiculous, you know that?”
“Ah, you love me.” he teased, then added, “Mare-bear.”
“Stop it!” Marigold laughed, smiling so hard it hurt.
“You do!”
“Maybe.”
“Maybe?” he repeated, “What, singing karaoke got me bumped down to maybe status?”
“No, ‘Mare-bear’ got you bumped down to maybe status.” she fired back, though the threat didn’t hold much meaning when she still couldn’t pull the smile off her face.
“Then I’ll just have to win you back with my incredible singing,” Peter said, lifting the microphone to his lips with a flourish, “Careful, Mari, I’m irresistible.”
“Maybe.”
“Again with the ‘maybe’!” he blurted, then shrugged and shot her a wink, “You’ll see.”
With all his teasing, he almost missed his entrance to the song, but he recovered quickly enough.
“You in the moonlight, with your sleepy eyes,” Peter sang, reaching out a hand like he was an overly-dramatic actor in a music video, “Would you ever love a man like me?”
He turned to face her, giving her his best romantic look as he kept singing. Marigold just scrunched her nose at him, then stuck out her tongue. Peter barked out a laugh, his dark eyes brightening even as he missed his cue for the next lyric.
“Uh- When I walked into your house, I knew I’d never want to leave,” he corrected quickly, but Marigold was already grinning.
“See?” she teased, triumphant, “I messed you up!”

For the ship ask game:
Dream/Calliope (since I know you like them), Dreamling (since I know you don't like them), and Rogue/Gambit (wild cards, pun not intended)
And.... just for fun, Mari x Peter and Jasper x Kyle?
Thanks!
Dream/Calliope
1. What made you ship it?
The Calliope episode of The Sandman. Just seeing Dream and Calliope interact... *screams* they have such good chemistry despite being divorced lol.
Tumblr media
Also, the fact that despite everything, Dream still immediately came to help her. He still obviously cares for her and I lose my mind every time I watch the episode.
Tumblr media
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
I guess I slightly said above. But I like how much of a power couple they are, an Endless and a Goddess is pretty cool.
Also, the fact that it is pretty much canon that they were good parents to Orpheus 🥺 (there's a comic panel of Calliope saying that Dream was a good father)
And going by the show, hypothetically, I think there's still enough there that could bring back their relationship. I'm not saying like canon to the show, but I'm saying their dynamic to me seems like they could work through their problems. (They just need a lot of couple's therapy /j)
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Hmm... honestly the Dream x Calliope fandom isn't big enough to have unpopular opinions if that makes sense. But I guess maybe this is more of a personal gripe, but why is this ship so less popular than others despite actually being canon at some point?
Dreamling
1. Why don’t you ship it?
It's too popular to the point where it's basically everywhere in the fandom and you can't escape it. Also, I don't like Hob Gadling. I'm also not fond of the ineffable husbands comparison, all because they're two Neil Gaiman characters that sit at a table a lot.
2. What would have made you like it?
Well, if better ships didn't exist I guess. And I feel like some parts of Hob's character could've been handled better if you know what I mean. Also, not every relationship has to be a romantic one.
3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
I've read a couple of dreamling fics that were very well written.
Rogue/Gambit
1. What made you ship it?
I'm not as familiar with the ship, but I've watched a bit of the old X-Men cartoon and I like their dynamic.
Tumblr media
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
Um... from what I know, Gambit basically is very down bad for Rogue? and idk I like that. (But I'm not that familiar so please no one shout at me if I'm wrong 😅)
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I don't know enough to know what's considered unpopular.
Send me a ship and I’ll answer three questions based on if I ship it or not
OC-related ships under the cut
Quicksecond
1. What made you ship it?
Well, it's my own ship lol. But I really wanted to have an X-Men oc in a relationship with Peter.
Tumblr media
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
They're always there for each other, very supportive of each other. The cute bantering and little nicknames sometimes. 👏 They are a power couple. 👏
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Um... I guess not?
Jasper/Kyle
1. What made you ship it?
Well I mean reading Heartstrings. Idk how you'd read it and not ship them lol.
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
I like how different they are but how they still fit each other perfectly if that makes sense? I like how they're very supportive of each other. And honestly just how cute they are together lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I hope you don't mind me using a gif of your faceclaim for Jasper, also unrelated but how did I not realize Miles McKenna was in Goosebumps? I literally kinda watched the show...)
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I don't think so? Except I guess just that they're better than Kyle and Zoe...

Keep You Safe From the Nightmares
Rating: Gen
Warnings: Just a little bit of angst but mostly fluff.
Word Count: 716
Summary: Rosie has a nightmare and Peter comforts her.
Note: Rosie is 7 in this.
Also Read on AO3
Rosie tossed and turned in her bed; struggling with her nightmare. She unknowingly gripped the bedsheets tightly.
“No…” She whimpered in her sleep.
Rosie quickly sat up in bed, gasping while trying to get her breathing back under control. Her heart raced, feeling as if it would burst out of her chest. She broke down and started to cry loudly. Her body shuddered with each sob and she buried her face in her blankets. Tears spilled and fell, dampening her blankets.
Peter and Marigold ran into her room. Their eyes glanced around for an obvious threat.
“Rosie, are you hurt or scared?” Marigold asked, concern heard in her voice.
“S-Scared.” Rosie cried.
A flicker of relief showed on both of the parent’s faces once they realized that physically, their daughter was okay. It disappeared when they remembered the current problem.
“I think it’s another nightmare. I can handle this one. Go back to sleep.” Peter whispered to his wife.
“Are you sure?” She furrowed her brows.
“Yeah, go, it’s fine,” he said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Marigold hesitantly nodded before leaving.
Peter moved to sit near the end of Rosie’s bed, a small frown on his face. “Rosie, take a big breath and let it out.” He demonstrated for her. “See? It’s easy. Big breath in… big breath out.”
Rosie started to copy him, hiccuping from crying at first.
“Good, you’ve got it. Deep breath in… and out…”
Rosie successfully got her breathing back under control. She sighed and wiped her eyes.
“Good girl. Can you tell me what’s wrong?” He rubbed her back, trying to comfort her.
She sniffled, rubbing her sore eyes. Rosie glanced down, hair falling in her face. Peter moved the hair out of her eyes. His thumb brushed her cheek.
“I… I had a nightmare.” She stammered.
“Yeah?” Peter sighed, opening his arms for a hug. “Do you want to talk about it? Or just a hug?”
“Both.” Rosie immediately took the chance, holding onto her father tight, feeling safe in his hug.
“In my dream… I was using my powers. But I couldn’t figure out how to turn them off. No one could see me, no one could hear me, even when I shouted.” She felt tears prick her eyes again. “I was gone…” She whispered. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
He wiped away the tears with his thumb. “I’m sorry, duckling.” Peter kissed the top of her head. “It was definitely a dream because I can see and hear you clearly.”
“It felt so real…” Rosie muttered. “What if it happens?” She glanced up at him with dread in her eyes.
“Has there ever been a time when you struggled to turn visible again? Have you ever fought with your powers, failing to get them to cooperate?” He asked.
She thought about it for a moment, eventually shaking her head.
“What about people not hearing you? Even after trying to get their attention.”
Rosie shook her head. “I was crying and you and Mommy heard me.”
“So then, what makes you think it’ll happen?” Peter questioned.
She hummed. Eyebrows knitted in thought as she considered his words.
“I think you have a point…”
“‘Course I do. I’m your father, which means I know everything.” He joked.
Rosie giggled, already starting to forget about her scary nightmare.
“There’s that adorable smile I love!” Peter booped her nose, and she laughed more, pushing his hand away. “Do you think you can go back to sleep?”
“Maybe… I don’t know…” Rosie murmured, glancing away while fidgeting with her hands.
“That’s alright. I’ll just stay here until you fall asleep. Is that okay?”
Rosie nodded, smiling. She settled back under the covers. Peter handed her Duck, and she held the lovie tight.
“Hopefully Mari won’t miss me much.” He muttered under his breath, moving to lie down next to her. “Just close your eyes, it’ll be ok. Hope I won’t fall asleep too…”
“What if I have another nightmare?” She frowned, clutching Duck tighter.
“If you do, I’ll be here when you wake up, okay? I promise I’ll keep you safe.” He assured.
She nodded and snuggled down into her sheets again.
Peter wrapped an arm around her. “Sleep.” He whispered.
“Good night,” she said, closing her eyes.
“Good night, sweetheart,”

Note
for the ask game: Corinthian, Peter Maximoff, Hux, and Mando
Thanks
The Corinthian
Tumblr media
First impression: Scary but interesting.
Now impression: Be gay do crime, a poor little meow meow but in a different way than Dream.
Favorite moment: I'm not sure... I still think it's funny when Fiddler's Green and him see each other at the convention. I always think of that meme "'I saw the Corinthian at the serial killers' convention.' What were you doing at the serial killers' convention?"
Idea for a story: Imagining him and Lee for some reason getting stuck somewhere and having to work together to get out even though they don't get along lol.
Unpopular opinion: I absolutely hate the corintheus ship.
Favorite relationship: I don't care I'm cheating but Corinthian x Prometheus!! OC x canon is always superior.
Favorite headcanon: Um... I'm not sure I have one.
Peter Maximoff
Tumblr media
First impression: Hey, that fast guy is very cool, too bad I'm going to forget about him until Wandavision.
Now impression: He's such an underrated x-men I love him.
Favorite moment: The school scene obviously.
Idea for a story: Can I say any of my current wips lol.
Unpopular opinion: I don't like the metal powers headcanon. He's already op as it is.
Favorite relationship: Him and my OC, Marigold haha.
Favorite headcanon: That boi is neurodivergent! Nobody can tell me otherwise.
General Hux
Tumblr media
First impression: This guy is too loud and he kinda scares me.
Now impression: Wasted potential.
Favorite moment: It's been so long since I've watched the movies I don't have one.
Idea for a story: Anything with him and Indie (your OC that I love)
Unpopular opinion: I don't know enough about his fanbase to know what's considered an unpopular opinion... except when I was younger I used to slightly understand the Hux and Kylo Ren ship but now I don't ship it (it's still probably better than Ren and Rey though lol)
Favorite relationship: Him and Indie :)
Favorite headcanon: I guess the Millicent cat one?
Din Djarin
Tumblr media
First impression: Oh I like this guy.
Now impression: Hasn't changed much except just thinking he's probably one of the best Star Wars characters.
Favorite moment: I think near the end of S3, when Grogu officially becomes his son.
Idea for a story: Probably a team up with him and Van (OC time :3c)
Unpopular opinion: He's not a himbo.
Favorite relationship: None?
Favorite headcanon: That he knows how to speak Mando'a.

Since you're sick and that Rocket/Eliška thought got me thinking....
How would each of your OCs take care of their partners when they're sick? How would their partners take care of them?
Okay let's see
Marigold and Peter:
Marigold insists she's fine for a while but when she finally accepts that she's sick and can't work, Peter immediately tells her to sit down and relax. He treats her like the queen she is (well he does that already but extra when she's sick)
Peter doesn't get sick often but when he does it hits him hard and he basically just lays down the whole time looking sad and pathetic /hj Marigold of course takes care of him and makes sure he'll be okay. She might playfully tease him slightly for acting like a sickly Victorian child though.
Rosie and Allison:
Both of them act like drama queens when they're sick but Allison less so. Because of this, they both dote on each other when they're not feeling well. Rosie is worse though because she'll start freaking out if Allison starts feeling like a smidge worse. Rosie's like "WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!" But Allison's fine tbh
Jelaa and Ahsoka:
I don't think it would be as bad because in Star Wars they have all the extra medical stuff? But they'd still take care of each other and make tea for each other to help feel better.
Dannie and Murphy:
Dannie tries to be comforting and helps Murphy with whatever she wants help with. Although Murphy is pretty stubborn and tries to act like she doesn't want to be looked after (she does)
Murphy isn't good at looking after others let alone herself but she tries her best when Dannie gets sick. You need some water? Here. Tissues? Here. Blanket? Fine. Etc.
Silas and Copia:
Similar to Marigold, Silas tries to brush it off but is quicker about accepting rest. Copia absolutely takes this time to basically baby him and take care of him. Silas doesn't mind though lol.
We all know Copia is a workaholic. That guy isn't accepting rest until he's on the verge of collapsing /j I'm kidding Silas would make sure he'd get the proper rest despite him protesting and complaining about work needing to be done.
Arith and Iriel / Kaia and Odel:
It's a different situation because angels and demons don't really get sick, not in a traditional sense. They can feel sick if they're molting though. You know how you can feel bad during periods but you're not actually sick? Molting is like that. At least that's my headcanon/interpretation. Also just having pet birds I know they feel kinda under the weather when they're molting.
Getting that out of the way,
There's nothing stopping Arith from taking care of Iriel. He is committed 100%. His mission is to make her feel as comfortable as she can. I'm talking bubble baths, tea, fuzzy blankets, comfort shows, cuddling. Heck, if she doesn't feel like walking, he'll carry her lol. Though that's rare.
I know it's obvious but once those initial walls are down, Arith acts so dramatic when he doesn't feel good. Iriel will try to help but definitely has more of a healer perspective. She will tease him for overreacting sometimes. But of course, if he's genuinely not doing good she'll fret over him.
Whenever Kaia feels bad, because Odel is not as familiar with how to act when your loved one is sick, she tends to go all out and overdo it on the helping. Not like too annoying but she's really focused on making sure Kaia recovers as fast as she can.
Kaia typically follows a lot of the same techniques her fathers used when she was feeling unwell as a child. And tends to take care of Odel in a similar way. Odel enjoys it but it took her some getting used to at first because she's not used to others taking care of her.

Thinking about Mari craving some really specific food from a certain part of the world (maybe she ate it while out on a mission and no other restaurant does it the same way) so Peter just runs over and gets it for her. Even if it's in another country.
AWW he totally would! No questions asked. Even if she started protesting he'd already be back with the food lol

For any of your OCs with romantic partners, tell me the exact moment each of them fell in love (whether or not they realized it at the time)
*cracks knuckles* /j Okay let's go
Marigold: It had to have been their second year of dating, one of the times when they were just having some time to themselves. Not doing much but definitely comfortable in just being in each other's presence. She thinks about how Peter brings peace and comfort to her life (which might be a surprise to some people) and it's all about how good relationships are when you're comfortable in the normalcy/mundane rather than the exciting times. I don't know if she realized at the time that she had fallen in love with him, but she knew for sure that she couldn't imagine spending her life with anyone else. She probably realized after a little bit when she had time to question it more.
Peter: Not that it was exactly the opposite, but during a mission that had gotten a little more dangerous than usual, they were both fine, but had to recover slightly. Peter realized that he wouldn't know what to do if something bad happened to Marigold, that he'd do anything for her, and that he had fallen in love with her quicker than he'd thought (ironic slightly? Lol) and the realization feelings grew more while they were both taking care of each other while recovering from the mission.
-
Rosie: I think maybe after one of their birthday parties and having a sleepover, they were sharing Rosie's bed and just cuddling. Rosie felt so comfortable and calm in Allison's arms and got the feeling that she never wanted to let go. I don't know if she recognized it as falling in love yet though. She had to sit with all the feelings for a bit until she was like "Is that what that is? Oh..."
Allison: It was actually when she was having a bad day, the dysphoria was being extra the worst™ and she broke down to Rosie about it, and even though Rosie couldn't really relate, she just held her and comforted her as she continued to cry, and she just tried consoling her and telling her sweet things, how much she cared for her and how she was the prettiest girl ever, etc. Allison felt a lot better afterward and realized how safe and loved Rosie made her feel. I think she realized then that she'd fallen in love with her.
-
Jelaa: Jelaa had developed a crush on Ahsoka while they were kids but just decided to bury it deep down and ignore it. It wouldn't have ended well while they were both Jedi. But the thing was the feelings didn't go away, and they actually grew stronger. While Jelaa was hiding for survival, during a particularly rough day she realized how much she missed Ahsoka and started crying, wondering if she had survived the purge. I think the missing and longing was when it happened, but once they were finally able to reunite and stay together, she finally realized oh this is like strong long-lasting in love feelings.
Ahsoka: She used to struggle with all the feelings as a kid/early teen, but there's not really time to focus on that while you're fighting for your life and stuff. I think especially after what happened with her leaving, Jelaa leaving too, and even what had happened to Barriss (who she also used to be close to) Ahsoka kinda just 'turned off' a lot of the grief and complicated feelings for a while. Once she had been able to grow up more and mostly get to more stable living (ish) and found Jelaa, she allowed more of the feelings back in and realized they made her stronger. She and Jelaa were still mainly hiding out together, but it's hard to ignore the romantic feelings while they're so close (physically and emotionally) and she realized after a while that she loved her.
-
Arith: Okay so listen, pretty much from the beginning, he had been amused by Iriel, maybe a little infatuated, but that didn't develop into a crush and then love until a little bit later. It was probably during one of their routine 'let's drink together and chat' nights. And of course, they had gotten closer unknowingly and it was also just sort of a deep-thinking kind of night, so it really wasn't that hard for Arith to realize how much he'd fallen in love with her. Imagine him looking at her for a second while she's talking passionately about something and then feeling his heart beating quicker before he glances down and takes a drink. He can deal with the feelings tomorrow.
Iriel: It took her longer to realize. Pretty much she'd been like "Yeah Arith and I are friends" (which you should've seen how she processed that ha) but then he just kept constantly flooding her thoughts, and at first she thought it was totally normal, but then she kept thinking about how nice he looked and how his eyes shined in the light and how pretty his laughter sounded and- and so she was slowly coming to the realization that friends don't usually think like this or especially at this amount, and it was confirmed for her that she loved him when she was taking care of him after another 'kinda usual but not really' "punishment" from work. He had said something like "you could at least let me make you coffee or something, I feel bad just laying here" and she was like "it's okay, there will be time for that in the future, I don't mind. we take care of each other plenty" and right there was when she realized how much she was willing to do for him and vice versa and how she'd fallen in love with him.
-
Kaia: It was probably while they were out on a date (like after a while of dating) they had gone to Paris for a little bit and were mostly just out and walking around, admiring some of the views (and each other ;)) and they were holding hands. And Odel said something like "we should come back here again sometime..." and Kaia's thoughts were like "for our honeymoon" and then she realized and started blushing. Odel asks if she's ok and she blames it on the cold weather. And Odel suggests they go someplace warmer then and she nods and wraps her arm around her waist and kisses her cheek.
Odel: She realized during late at night, while she had decided to stay over at Kaia's place (like a sleepover let me clarify) and I think recently she had been having a lot more conflicted thoughts about being with Kaia, more just about dealing with her feelings about betraying Heaven. She had woken up during the night from a dream about it and just watched Kaia sleeping peacefully next to her. Watching her calmed her down enough to start falling back asleep. There hadn't been peace and calm while she was still with Heaven. But she had it with Kaia. That's when she knew she loved her and that she was always going to be worth more to her than Heaven. She started to stop caring about Heaven after that and focus on her love for Kaia.
-
Silas: It was after Copia confessed and had basically broken down about everything that had happened (with Sister and what happened to the other Papas) and how Copia felt so hopeless about it and conflicted. Silas just focused on just comforting him and calming him enough to stop the tears for a while. Because despite learning about the terrible stuff happening in the Ministry, he knew it wasn't Copia's fault, and he felt more protective over him since he realized how much of a threat Sister was to him. He realized that despite everything they had grown so close and cared about each other. And then after that, then he realized he had fallen in love. And then the internal conflicting angst started /j
Copia: It was actually around the same time. One of his biggest fears had been how Silas would react to the truth but to his surprise he reacted better than he'd thought, and then after that he realized they were pretty much always going to stick together no matter what and be there for each other. Then he realized his feelings for him.
-
Dannie: They realized they loved Murphy after a while of dating. Even after their ups and downs, they still wanted to be there for her and that's when they realized.
Murphy: It's a similar story but it was after she had a particularly bad day. Murphy really struggles with being vulnerable and showing her true feelings, so when she lets her walls down and is really honest with Dannie, she's scared of rejection. But Dannie obviously doesn't leave her after seeing her on a 'rough day' and so Murphy starts feeling more comfortable with them and then realizes she loves them.
That took a while 😅

Note
your OCs have just asked their partners "would you love me if I was a worm?"
how do they all react?
Allison asks Rosie and she says "Yes, especially if you're one of those worm-on-a-string ones."
Marigold asks Peter and he says it would be more likely that he'd be the worm in the scenario. He says yes.
Eliška asks Rocket and he scoffs and asks why she'd be a worm in the first place. He mentions he'll at least try to not let anyone step on her.
Arith asks it as a joke and expects Iriel to respond in a similar way, but instead, Iriel is genuine and says yes wholeheartedly, causing Arith to get unexpectedly emotional.
Kaia asks Odel and Odel says 'worm or person, we'd figure it out and I would make sure you'd live a wonderful worm life'
Dannie mentions the meme to Murphy and Murphy says that she'll at least try to take care of them if they were a worm.
Jelaa asks Ahsoka and she chuckles before saying that she'd put her in a little pocket and carry her around.
Silas asks Copia and at first, he gives him a confused look before saying that yes, he would. He'd have to get used to it but is good at taking care of small things (like his rats)

Family Movie Night

Rating: Gen
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1k
Summary: Rosie and Peter get movie night prepared before Marigold gets back.
Also Read on AO3
It was Saturday evening. Peter and his six-year-old daughter, Rosie, kept busy at home while Marigold was out running a few errands. Peter sat relaxed on the couch. In his hands, he held a comic book he had been reading. All the while, Rosie was off doing her own thing. Peter wasn’t too concerned. He trusted Rosie. However, the house was fairly quiet.
Peter furrowed his eyebrows. “Rosie? What you up to, sweetheart?” He called.
“I’ll be there in a minute!” The little girl shouted back.
“That wasn’t what I asked…” Peter thought. “Okay, we need to pick a movie to watch soon for movie night,” he mentioned.
“Oh, yeah!” Rosie replied, remembering that she got to choose the movie for tonight.
She stood on her tip-toes on the step stool in the bathroom; reaching for a hairbrush on the shelf. The tip of her fingers touched the plastic handle of the brush. When she grabbed it, she hopped down.
With a tug, Rosie opened one of the sink's cabinet drawers. She peered inside and reached for a ponytail band. She wrapped it around the brush handle so it wouldn’t get lost.
“Coming!” She shouted and ran back to the living room.
“Will you braid my hair?” Rosie asked. The little girl stood barefoot on the carpet, feeling the soft fibers of the carpet between her toes. She held a brush in her hand. “Please?”
Peter looked up from the comic book. “So, that’s where you were the entire time, little gremlin.” He smiled.
Rosie rolled her eyes. “It’s not like I was up to no good.”
“Hey, you never know in this house.” He shrugged and chuckled.
“Will you braid my hair?” She repeated.
“Did you grab a ponytail holder?” He asked, setting the comic down.
Rosie nodded.
“Good.”
Peter motioned for her to sit down. He ran the brush through her dark brown wavy hair. “I’m not hurting you, right?”
“No, you’re fine.”
He brushed her hair back into the shape of a ponytail. Peter separated her hair into three parts and started braiding them together. He finished it and secured it with the ponytail band.
“Alright, done. Why don’t you go look in the mirror and tell me how I did?”
The little girl ran off and went to look at her hair in the bathroom mirror, holding the braid up. “It looks great! Thank you, Daddy!” She shouted.
“You’re welcome, sweetie.”
Rosie ran back to the living room and sat next to him. “Can I do your hair now?” She asked, looking up at him.
Peter chuckled softly. “I mean, sure? It’s not as long as yours, obviously, but you can brush it if you want.” He ran a hand through his silver hair.
“Okay!” She grinned. She got up and stood by the couch. “Sit on the floor. You’re too tall.” She pointed at the floor.
“Maybe you’re just tiny.” He teased, booping her nose.
Rosie huffed and crossed her arms against her chest. “No, I’m not!”
“Yes, you are,” he continued. “You’re a tiny little Twinkie.” He hugged her.
Rosie pushed him away. “Daddy… stop it…”
“Okay, but it’s true.” He let go and shrugged.
“You’re embarrassing.” Rosie sighed and tried to hide her smile. “Now, do you want your hair brushed or not? Sit, mister!”
“Alright, geez! Is that any way to treat your father?” He placed a hand on his chest, pretending to be offended.
He moved to sit on the carpeted floor, pulling his knees to his chest. Rosie picked up the brush, carefully running the bristles of the brush through his silver hair.
“You’re very good at this,” Peter commented.
“Thanks, I've had a lot of practice,” Rosie replied.
“You know, back when I was a teenager, I had longer hair,”
“Really?” Her eyes widened.
“Yep,” he said, popping the p. “If my hair was still that long, you could kinda braid it like yours,”
“Oh.” Rosie put tiny braids in his hair. Her eyes lit up when she got an idea. “You should grow it long again,”
“Really?” He asked.
“Yeah!” She grinned.
“Eh… I don’t know. I think it looked bad…” He shrugged.
Though that was back when he didn’t know how to care for his long hair, or simply lacked the patience to take care of it properly.
“Aw, come on,” Rosie whined. “Then we’d match.”
“Don’t you and your mom already match?”
“But then we’d all match!”
“Sure…” He thought.
“I’ll uh… think about it." He smiled. “But, for now, I like how it looks currently.”
He reached up to touch his hair when Rosie lightly smacked his hand away. “Ow!”
“Don’t touch it! You’ll ruin the braids!” She warned.
“Braids? You’re really going all out here.” Peter chuckled.
“Going all out?” She asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
“Yeah, like, really fancy?” he replied.
“Oh, well, I wanted to make your hair look nice, like mine.” Rosie smiled.
“Aw, well, that’s nice of you,”
“Thanks.” She looked down and admired her own braid. “Alright, I finished! Be right back!”
She left to grab a small mirror from the bathroom.
“Do you like it?” Rosie handed him the mirror.
“Oh, yeah. I like all the little braids.” He looked at his hair in the mirror. “It kinda makes me look like a pirate, right? Arrrr!” He winked and tried imitating a pirate.
“Eh… no.” Rosie deadpanned.
Peter let out a laugh. “Wow, thanks for being honest, I guess.” He sighed.
“Mommy says honesty is the best policy.” Rosie nodded.
“She’s right, mostly,” Peter replied. He got up to sit on the couch again. “But don’t tell her I said mostly.” He whispered, giving her a wink.
Rosie giggled. “Okay.”
She quickly returned the mirror and brush to their places. The little girl ran back. She sat in his lap, and Peter pulled her into a hug.
“Thank you for making my hair look pretty, sweetie.” He kissed her head.
“You’re welcome, Daddy,”
“Now, come on, your mom expects supper to be made by the time she gets home. How about… pizza?” He asked.
“Yeah!” Rosie cheered.
Peter carried her to the kitchen.
“And, while we work on the pizza, you can decide on a movie we can all watch.”
“I want to watch Kiki’s Delivery Service!” She smiled.
“Again? Well, it is very good, I’ll admit,” Peter said.
“It is magical! With witches and magic and cats and everything!”
“Please, don’t yell into my ear, ouch.” He winced and chuckled softly.
“Sorry.” She whispered.
“It is very magical. You’re right, Ro.” He whispered back.
She smiled.
---
By now, the pizzas were cooking in the oven. Rosie peered through the oven window as the pizzas rose.
“They look yummy, huh?” Peter looked at the pizzas with her.
“Uh-huh.” The little girl nodded.
“Why don’t you get the movie ready while we wait for the pizzas? Mommy will be back soon.” He suggested.
“Okay!” Rosie ran back to the living room. She reached up on the shelf for the movie. Her fingers touched the case. Then she faltered. She frowned. “Do you think Mommy will want to watch the movie?” She fidgeted with her hands.
“I’m sure she will. After all, she was the one who even introduced me to Ghibli movies.” Peter assured her.
“Okay.” Rosie smiled. She set up the movie.
“Do you need any help with the movie menu?” Peter asked. He set the hot pizzas on the stove to cool down.
“Daddy, I can do it. I’m not a baby.” Rosie rolled her eyes and huffed.
“But I thought you were my baby.” He cooed, exaggerating the sappiness to tease her.
Rosie groaned in embarrassment, rolling her eyes. “Daddy….”
“Alright, alright, I get it. I used to find it super annoying when my mom would say similar stuff to me, too,” Peter said.
“Okay, well, most of the time it’s super embarrassing, but I know it comes from love and stuff so… sometimes it’s okay when you say it.” Rosie shrugged.
Peter grinned.
“That doesn’t mean you get to say it all the time, Daddy, especially in public,” she warned him.
“Okay… don’t be an embarrassing sappy goofy dad all the time, got it,”
Rosie nodded.
“It will be very challenging, but I think I can manage.” He joked.
Rosie giggled.
---
“Alright, I think the pizzas have cooled down enough. You want to taste test them?” He suggested. A mischievous smile was on his face.
Rosie gasped. “But Mommy doesn’t like it when we do that.” She whispered.
“Well… she’s not here right now, she doesn’t have to know…”
Rosie thought it over. “Okay!” She grinned.
“Taste test the pizzas, my chaos child.” Peter instructed.
“Yes, sir!” She pulled a tiny bit of the pizza off with a fork and ate it. The piece was so small the pizza almost looked normal unless you inspected it closely and glanced at the missing part. “It’s great! And I didn’t burn my mouth!”
“Well, that’s good.” He laughed at her enthusiasm.
A while later, Peter and Rosie sat on the couch; watching special features on the movie menu while they waited for Marigold to return. They turned their heads when they heard a knock at the door.
Marigold opened it and walked in. “Hey, you two!”
“Mommy!” Rosie ran to her, and Marigold picked her up. “Hello, my little munchkin!” She kissed her cheek. “Oh, is that pizza I smell?” Marigold asked.
Peter hugged her from behind and quickly kissed her on the neck. “Yep. It was taken out of the oven not too long ago.”
“Can’t wait to have some slices.” She smiled.
“Mommy! I picked the movie for tonight! We’re watching Kiki’s Delivery Service!” Rosie grinned.
“Ooh, a great choice, dear.”
“See, told you,” Peter murmured.
“Told her what?” Marigold asked, an eyebrow raised in curiosity.
“Oh, nothing, it’s just Rosie was worried you would not like her movie choice.” He explained.
“You didn’t have to worry, sweetie. I like whatever you choose,” Marigold said.
“Oh, good.” Rosie sighed in relief.
Marigold and Peter chuckled.
“Now, come on, pizza’s ready,” Peter said.
“Pizza!” Rosie cheered.

Little Interruptions
Rating: Teen and up audience
Warnings: None really. Kissing, making out, it's a tad spicier than my usual work but it's really not that bad
Word Count: 1k
Summary: Peter and Marigold would really appreciate some alone time, except that might be more of a challenge than they thought.
Also Read on AO3
“Did she fall asleep easily?” Marigold whispered, looking up at Peter.
He had just finished putting Rosie to bed. He closed the girl’s bedroom door a bit, only leaving it open a crack. Looking through the small gap, he could see she had already fallen asleep, making Peter sigh in relief.
“Yeah, I think so. She looks asleep to me. And I only had to read her two books this time,” Peter answered.
He crept quietly over to where Marigold sat, practically tip-toeing in fear of waking his daughter up. Marigold sat in one of the big armchairs reading a book to unwind before bed. She turned a page before pausing her reading to speak.
“That’s good. She’s been sleeping so terribly lately… I don’t know what to do to help with her nightmares.” She frowned, furrowing her brows.
“Hey, it’ll be okay… I’m sure we’ll figure something out to help her, or she’ll grow out of it,” Peter assured. He placed his hands on Marigold’s shoulders, gently rubbing them.
She relaxed at his touch, leaning back slightly, and nearly forgetting the chapter of her book.
“Yeah, it’s probably a little phase. I went through the same thing when I was her age,” Marigold murmured. “But I’m just so tired of it. I need a break!” She huffed, tensing up again.
“Maybe we’ll finally get a break tonight,” Peter replied, trying to ease her mind.
“I hope you’re right… I just want some us time…” She sighed.
“That would definitely be nice.” He smiled, leaning down to kiss her cheek.
She thought to herself for a moment, allowing a small smile to show on her face. “Well, it looks like we have a break now… it would be a shame to let it go to waste.” Marigold whispered, turning slightly to look at him.
“You know what? I think you’re right.” He whispered back.
She grinned. “Yeah, as soon as I finish this page—”
Marigold gasped, dropping the book in surprise when Peter moved to pick her up out of the chair and hoisted her over his shoulder. “Peter! I said one more page!” She laughed.
“Sorry, what was that? All I heard was getting some us time.” He joked, carrying her to their bedroom.
Marigold continued to laugh, turning into a fit of giggles. She covered her mouth with her hand, attempting to muffle the laughter. He managed to shut their bedroom door behind them with his foot once they were inside.
“You’re so impatient.” She chuckled.
“Maybe so, but come on, we’ve earned this. And I didn’t want to wait another minute,”
Marigold felt him move his hands up from her thighs to her waist, and she giggled as he gently threw her onto their bed before he covered her body with his own. The brunette ran her fingers through his soft silvery hair as she kissed him. The moonlight coming from the window shone on his face and hair, causing the silver locks to look as if they were glowing. She pulled him closer, which should’ve been impossible considering how close they already were to each other.
Peter straddled her hips, keeping her in place under him. He slowly ran his hand along her upper thigh, then moved his fingers to her waist, then up to her ribs.
“You know I’m ticklish there.” Marigold chuckled. Before she could push his hand away, Peter caught her wrists with one hand and pinned them down.
“Maybe that’s why I’m doing it.” He teased her.
“You jerk…” She muttered in a playful tone.
His lips left kisses, trailing down from her neck to her collarbone. She closed her eyes, feeling pure bliss.
“What am I going to do with you?” She chuckled and sighed.
“I don’t know. I guess you’ll have to think about it,” he murmured in between kisses.
“How can I think at a time like this…” Marigold whispered, mostly to herself.
His fingers slowly traced her skin again, leaving a ticklish goosebump feeling. All her nerves felt especially sensitive.
She tried holding back her quiet giggles but struggled to do so. “We need to be quiet! Or Rosie’s going to wake up! All that hard work of getting her to sleep will be for nothing!”
“I’m not the one who’s laughing. That sounds like a you problem.” Peter joked.
“You’re the one making me laugh.” She pointed out.
“I think I know how to fix that,”
He kissed her on the mouth, effectively silencing her laughter. She practically sank into the sweetness of his lips, letting out a sigh of contentment. Peter loosened his grip on her wrists, allowing her hands to be free once again. Marigold eagerly placed them on his waist.
“Your lips are really warm.” He whispered. "Soft..."
“Glad to hear it.”
Marigold’s lips trailed down, leaving kisses on his jaw. She slowly stuck her hands up his shirt, gently touching his back. Peter’s breath hitched at the sensation of her soft, cool hands.
Marigold’s heart beat quickly in her chest. She could feel the excitement. They had been waiting for a good chance to kiss. Kiss like this. It was worth the wait.
The precious moment they had been waiting for all this time was immediately cut short. A loud knock at the bedroom door made them jump, instantly pulling away from each other.
“Come in!” Marigold stammered, her heart racing, although out of shock rather than the previous reason.
The door flew open, revealing little Rosie standing there in the doorway. “I had a bad dream.” She whimpered, clutching on tight to her duck lovie.
“Another one, huh?” Peter said, regaining his calmness surprisingly.
The little girl nodded.
Marigold sighed in disappointment, hoping it just sounded like she was tired; though Rosie couldn’t tell the difference between the two, anyway.
“Alright, com’ere.” She patted a spot between her and Peter.
Rosie ran and climbed into bed, settling between her parents; who helped tuck her under the covers.
“Same bad dream?” Peter asked, brushing back the hair in Rosie’s eyes.
“I don’t remember. I don’t think so…” She frowned.
“We’ll get this figured out, okay? For now, whenever you get a really bad dream, you’re allowed to come into our room and stay with us. Just remember to always knock if the door is closed, like you did tonight, okay?” Marigold consoled her.
“Okay, Mommy,” Rosie mumbled. She held onto both of their hands.
Peter felt her tiny grip loosen after a bit. He looked over to see she had already fallen asleep.
He chuckled softly. “She’s cute when she sleeps.”
Marigold nodded, pulling up the comforter on her daughter’s sleeping form.
“Well, that was fun while it lasted.” She sighed.
“Yeah, once we fix her nightmare problems, I’m sure we’ll get more chances.” He gave her a sympathetic smile.
“I hope so,”
They shared a quick kiss and then went to bed, accepting the sleep they needed.
