fairy is hiding in scarf around the humans neck and looks back to see someone possibly following them

human walks behind a pillar as casually as they can

no one can see them but that will only last a moment

footsteps are getting closer

"Ok"

a moment of disorientation

when the footsteps catch up-

the bad guy sees a different face than the one he was expecting

a surprised figure in ill fitting clothes

that he has never seen before

speaks into his earpiece "False Alarm"

walks away

as their heart rate starts to return to normal the figure feels something moving along their skin

eventually the formally human-sized human peaks out through the scarf

"i can't believe that worked. did you have to shrink me so fast?"

'I did not have time to pick your outfit off the ground and put it on now did I'

the fairy uncomfortably readjusted their wings under the polyester shirt

"well i wish i had known you could do this earlier. im not sure what happened to that outfit of leaves you were wearing before because i dont have it"

'I doubt they remained in one piece. We merely Swapped Sizes and it was hard to do it fast enough for that trick with the clothes to work. Let's get something to eat. I'm sure I've been watching you long enough to figure out how to order for myself.

I don’t know if anyone cares about this but me but every time im floored about the sort of quick change makeup done in the middle of papers. He’s already a bit roughed up but by the time it’s over there’s more on his cheeks and a nosebleed. I think I’ve figured out when this happens, there’s a ensemble member who bends down and someone else who’s infront of him — so it’s a quick misdirect to swipe the fake blood under his nose.

Look- I’m a simple person, I like mines, caves and gore makeup.

the way I would kill to see the quick changes that @taylorswift does purely from the persective of a theater kid who has had to do an ungodly number of quick changes by herself and help others with a quick change in the wings. Like she literally changes from body suit to body suit, and there are very few opportunities to double the costume and wear say half of it under the one she would be wearing before.

I know this ruins the magic if you know how it works, but as someone who spent half her life in the wings and on the stage, I just gotta know. The absolute blinding speed at which you have to rip a dress off to put a skin tight bodysuit on that may or may not have delicate seams is astonishing.

BoM Conspiracy Theory

So recently there’s been a lot of talk about the ‘Turn it Off’ quick change, and there’s been input from cast members/former cast members about how it happens. The narrative that has been making the rounds is that the elders have the vests in their pants/behind their belts before the lights go out, and they put them on during the blackout. But my theory is that this doesn’t actually happen, but these cast members have been INSTRUCTED to lead people on thinking that they have vests in their pants to actually stop the fans from REALLY finding out. I don’t really see it out of character for BoM of all shows to prank their entire fan base, and if it’s true, the creatives/cast are probably all pissing themselves.
