Borrower vs. Fairy fighting. I want years long societal grudges between these two groups. I want Gang Fights! bloody gang fights

I want fairy’s who see borrowers as lesser, lame versions of themselves.

I want borrowers who mock fariys like the little nepo baby’s they are.

fairies with immense magical power but their fragile little bug body can’t take a single punch from a borrower

borrower gangs who have to territorially claim and protect a human from fairies because they need that human’s stuff to borrow. But oh no the human stepped on the fey queens favorite mushroom in the woods, and now half the fucking fey courts are out for their blood.

Random thought: a human realizes there is a borrower family in his house and organizes a treasure hunt for the child(ren) throughout the house, and then leaves for the whole day, loudly announcing "Wow, a whole day of being out of the house! I am sure I won't come back till eleven!"

Borrower kid(s) fearlessly running around the house and in the end finds, I don't know, a chocolate bar twice his size

Bonus point if the human returns and checks for the chocolate, only to find some trinket laid back along with a sticky note signed with "Thank you"

Twice bonus points if it was the parent of the kid(s) who actually knew what the human did and left the note

- Tinies with butterfly or moth wings that settle together when they rest, who have to lay on their stomach with their beautiful wings folded or flat above them as they sleep

G/T Drabble: waking up

I wake up one cold January morning. The sun should be up by now, but I don’t see the light in the gaps of the blinds.

I wrap myself in my biggest blanket and shuffle out of bed, on my way to grab a drink. After retrieving my morning beverage I go to one of the windows to open the blinds- curious to see the clouds blocking the sun.

But as soon as I lift up the blinds, I see it isn’t the weather or the clouds at all. A giant person is casting a shadow over my apartment. At least that my assumption as all I can see is their forehead. Unfortunately my actions of opening the blinds was enough movement to catch the giant’s attention. Having been slightly bent over, They now stood to their full height and peer into the window that opened.

My window.

There we are, looking at each other. Their massive eyes and my groggy tiny ones.

…..nope. Not dealing with this. I close the blinds and walk away thinking that I’m going back to bed.
