All i want is a fantasy story with people learning to fall in love despite their flaws and their traumas, realising that their companion is perfect for them only to be ripped apart just after they realise. I just need that unselfconscious tenderness while they interact but don't realise the intimacy until at last they do but it's too late and the world or time or fate is against them but at least they know in their hearts they could have had each other if they'd realised it earlier but not anymore. And also maybe they fuck.
Oh my lord back at it again I wanted to watch a different gay tragedy that wasn’t good omens and instead of something reasonable like our flag means death or hannibal I chose Gotham??? The worst possible option?? It’s not even well written??
Having an incredibly conservative family and living in a very religious community, doesn't really mesh with being a lesbian and having an alien girl friend.
There's just something very specific about homoerotic character-enveloping friendships from around 2010 where they're semi-aware that gay people exist but queerbaiting isn't quite a thing yet sp their relationship consumes the narrative and changes them both irrevocably forever and they end in tragedy but the ending is JUST open enough for the fic writers to wriggle into that just makes me go fucking FERAL
I really like how they took the ‘survival without living will leave you bitter and alone’ message from Bill’s segment in the game and turned it on its head to read ‘you can survive and you can also live and the key ingredient is love’.
what attracts me to the transfemme fitzjames headcanon is that it has potential to add another layer of tragedy to his story. like he never had the chance to even consider who he was or what he wanted; he died before he could even explore the options. he never got to pull off the mask—he lived a man, he died a man, and he is remembered a man. the end of vanity came too late for him
