The concept of poly geochanter/reader/pyroslinger was brought up to me by @sea-of-dandelions in the past and honestly, kinda thinking about it again....
Tumblr media
Geo is always trying to be the responsible one. A little overbearing at times, but you know he always has both yours and Pyro's best interests at heart. This does sometimes look like shielding Pyro out on the field, or making sure he's home to make you dinner. Other times it looks like Geo making sure you're all in bed at a reasonable time.
Pyro on the other hand, he's much less responsible. Not to say he isn't responsible at all, but more he's a little too confident in himself. Whilst this does manifest as slight recklessness in the field, it does have its uses. He's smug, sure, but secure in the relationship. And he's good at making sure you and Geo feel secure and listened to.
Now together they can be menaces. But they're both very loving, doting even. Pyro will spend all his money on you and Geo if you don't stop him, granted Geo isn't already trying to stop him. Geo is the one making sure you have essentials in the house, Pyro is the one making sure you have ✨️ fun ✨️ items.
Pyro doesn't particularly like cold food, he's a bit of a baby when it comes to the temperature of his food. He's insufferable in the summer, wanting warm food even when it's ten million degrees outside. I hope you can put up with his complaining, always wrapping his arms around you and sighing in your ear. Geo seems used to it, at least.
Geo tends to reward you both with kisses of all things. He would never admit it, but he enjoys watching you and Pyro compete for his kisses. He'll set little tasks to do throughout the day, and for each task completed, that's a kiss! He enjoys this power a little too much.

fatui skirmishers x reader
i have the urge to write about it so why not also the names are taken from the quest lol
Imagine a random investigator woman finding the fatui in Chasm. She was there to help Jinwu and others but then she got very interested in the area so she decided to explore it because why not. While she was checking one cave out, she met with the fatui. They introduce themselves to her. Anton (Anemoboxer), Radomir (Hydrogunner), Temur (Pyroslinger) and Danila (Geochanter). The poor fatui were very hungry and had no food, this made her heart crack. Even though they were bad guys she just couldn't see them suffer like this. So she decided to help them.
.
.
.
As she brought them the food, Mashkov (Electrohammer) tried to attack her thinking that Anton and others have betrayed them. While e was swinging his big hammer towards her, Anton held it. After stopping Mashkov, he explained the situation. They argued, trying their best to be on top of the argument, then Mashkov left them alone. While she was still at the shock of almost dying, she thanked Anton. Hugged him with her tiny body.
.
.
.
After a few small talks the atmosphere filled with enjoyment. They felt like they were becoming closer and closer to each other. Since they enjoyed her company, she stayed with them for a while. Helping them with the food, keeping them busy with her impressive knowledge... The men loved her very much. Any word that came out of her pretty mouth was like music to their ears. Her gorgeous features always distracting them in a conversation. As they got more affiliate with her and since they weren't allowed to go back to Liyue, she took them to her place. A place near to Qingce Village but also distant from the guards and people. Everything was going great.

Tumblr media

Genre:Smut
Fandom:Genshin Impact
Character: Fatui Pyro Slinger
TW: This piece of fiction contains smut, blow job, implied forced sexual actions, throat Fucking, cum play, cum swallowing, cumming in readers mouth,GN reader, pyroslinger is a perv and an asshole
Tumblr media
Was it the peculiar mushrooms you found on the side of the road earlier?
The ones you decided to chop up and cook into a stew due to being on the verge of starving?
Or maybe it's the lack of food in general?
Or perhaps the intense sheer cold of the mountains of Snezhnaya?
You don't know.
Hell, you don't even know why your body started to move on its own.Bring you up and out your lonely camp, hidden in a faraway cave.
Your mind was blank as you walked further and further from your hide out.Eventually until you saw a faint light nearby, emitting from a torch. The torch was sticked into the ground right beside a set of three blue tents.Tents that had that familiar symbol any traveler would immediately notice.
Despite the obvious warning signs, you shook your head.Thinking;'no ones guarding the place anyways' to yourself as you came closer and closer.
Peaking around the corner, looking into the tents. You were quite right. No one was there.Just crates covered by white fabrics.A few vegetables laying around and some other materials.
You were starving, and on low resources.Far away from your beloved home, you started to regret becoming a traveler. It had it's pro's and con's.(mostly cons)
Tip toeing inside the nearest tent, you looked around multiple times before deciding to take a few carrots and potatoes. It was all you seriously wanted and needed. You didn't want any of their fancy equipment or whatnot. You werent some treasure hoarder,..just a passing traveler who was starving.
As you got enough to fill your bag,you bit on your bottom lip, hastily moving out the tent.Accidentally pushing an empty crate over.
The noise startled you, your eyes widened.Your stomach dropped when you heard the sound of someone stepping on a branch in the snow on the other side of the camp.
One of your hands covered your mouth, and you scrambled to hide behind the crates in the farther corner of the tent.
A bead of sweat rolled down your fore head, feeling the atmosphere get much hotter. The faint clacking sound of the heels of his boots against the wooden boards of the platform made you panic. The sound got louder and louder, getting closer and closer.
You could only shut your eyes, and when you did,he found you.Picking you up by the collar of your shirt.
"Now who do we have here..?"
His voice was hoarse and raspy,a light whisper.Even though his eyes glared at you,you could hear him grin through his tone of voice.
As he picked you up,your satchel slipped off your shoulder.Falling open on the ground below you with a harsh thump. The contents slipping out for him to see.
"oh? Seems like I've caught a thief"
He chuckled, before his mood quickly became sour in a split second.
"So,what kind of stunt do you plan on doing to escape your fate?"
You gulped, staring at him with wide fearful eyes.It was either fight or flight, and you weren't sure if you could do any of those two right now.
So you decided to do the most sane and safe thing to do;
Beg.
"w-wait- please no-,you don't understand I-"
"You what?I think I understand this very well,no?"
Before you could even say anything reasonable,he cut you off.You fell silent for a second, before opening your mouth again.
"I was just passing by...I thought..I thought this was abandoned...."
He raised his eyebrow at you, wondering if he should believe you or not.
"So,
You gulped
Please,I'll do anything,just don't hurt me.I- I really didn't mean to.."
Silence.
He hummed, seemingly contempt. He let go of you, letting you fall to the floor harshly. You raised your head to look up at him.
"Anything you say?"
You nodded hastily.
"Then get on your knees."
Tumblr media
This could have gone in so many other ways.
Ways that didn't needed for you to be kneeling before a Fatui Skimirsher, your hands gripping at his waist.
Nails digging into his flesh, while his hand was holding onto a handful of hair. The other was ungloved, resting of your chin.Slightly tilting your head upwards to see that mocking smirk on his face.
How you wish you could just wipe that smirk off his pale face.
You wondered if he was getting cold from the cruel weather right outside the tent.It didn't matter much, you just hoped he'd die from hypothermia soon.
Another thing you wondered about was if his comrades would ever come back. And what would happen if they did.
You'd rather not know,really.
The sound of him groaning disrupted your train of thoughts, followed a stinging feeling to your scalp as he violently pulled at your hair.
It made you squeal, gagging on his cock as his free hand held you still by your shoulder. He huffed, glaring down at you with cloudy eyes.
He opened his mouth to speak, but after a second of no words coming out,he closed his lips and just pushed your head further into his groin.
You could feel tears pricking in the corner of your eyes.Your nails dug deeper into him, surely leaving marks.
You slowed your pace, having second thoughts of continuing to blow him. After a while,he groaned in frustration.Pushing your head back down on him when your lips reached his tip.
He grit his teeth, starting to thrust into your mouth at a cruel pace.Fucking your throat with no hesitation.
Your sweet moans and cries were nothing but murmurs and mumbles.Your eyes rolled back as he halted, pushing himself down into your throat. As deep as he could to finish in your mouth.
His hot seed flooded your mouth and throat,he moaned softly whilst he filled your mouth.
When you pulled away, some of the sticky white liquid spilled out your lips. His hand quickly went to close your mouth and wipe away whatever was left outside your mouth.Pushing it back in with his thumb.
You could taste it in your mouth, accidentally swallowing some.He stared at you at your tongue played around with his cum in your mouth. You stopped to stare back at him when he sighed.
"Are you going to swallow or do I have to force you to?"
As soon as he spoke those words, you swallowed every drop of his cum in your mouth without thinking twice.
He grinned at you,
"You know...my comrades won't be back until tomorrow morning."
Your heart dropped
"And seeing how much you tried to get away with...you owe me a lot.."
He licked his lips.
"I'm sure you would mind another round or two, right?"

Oneshot - Genshin Impact [Lover's Oath]
Game: Genshin Impact
Title: Lover's Oath
Pairing: Xiao X GN! Yaksha Reader
Word Count: +2.1K
Warning(s): Blood, injuries
2.7 end cutscene inspired me because I fell in even more love with Xiao :,) I didn't think it was possible but here we are.
If you enjoyed my work and want to look for more, here is my masterlist. Or you could request here from any of these shows!
Tumblr media
Your cries of pain were drowned out by the heavy rain pouring down from the dark sky, as you lay in the grass now soaked with your blood. Your lifeless eyes began to shut, at last, after what felt like aeons of suffering.
"Xiao, have you ever wondered what it would be like to finally be rid of the Karma we carry?"
"Why would you ask such a needless question?" He'd replied after a moment of thought. "We lay our lives to protect the people of Liyue, and that is where it ends. We can never feel what it is like to live without the burden of our sins." He looked up at the setting sun as he stood against the railing of the terrace at Wangshuu Inn. Your shallow, heartbreaking smile didn't go unnoticed by the other Yaksha, for he looked at you from the corner of his eyes.
"Is that so?"
The memory flashed in your mind as your eyes shut, a painless expression taking over. "I suppose, I shall find out what awaits me," You tried to speak as you coughed out the remaining blood in your mouth.
"If only... I could look at you," You tilted your head to the side as your breathing became shallow, and continued, "One last time." You let the sounds of the droplets falling against the surface lull you to an awaiting endless sleep. You knew, all it would take would be one word, just one, for him to come to your rescue. All you had to do was call out his name, but it seemed so difficult. You did not want him to see you go like this. It was too painful of a thought for you.
"...Y/N!" You heard a voice calling out to you, and you wanted to turn to see who had suddenly heard your silent prayers. No matter how curious you were, your eyes refused to open up again and your hearing was far too gone to identify the owner of the voice through the thundering rain. You let the drops wash you away as you lost your consciousness.
You would finally rid yourself of this Karma.
At least, you thought you would have, until your eyes opened once more to the dim light of the moon shining through the window. The way it lit your room was almost enough to make you think you had entered the afterlife. But the pain in your abdomen brought you back to reality and you lifted your shirt to see bandages covering your torso.
You looked where your wound had been and lifted your arm to run a gentle hand across it. A sigh left your lips as you got up from the bed and tucked your shirt back in properly. After the traveller had opened up the gateway to the underground chasm, multiple monsters had grown restless and began chasing after the entrance. To make sure no mortals were injured inside the Chasm, you had been fighting off the dangers until a bullet pierced through your stomach.
A yell caught up in your throat as you kneeled, feeling a burning sensation spreading through the wound. Too focused on the monsters, you hadn't noticed a Fatui Pyroslinger standing atop a hill nearby. You looked to see him turning away and teleported to his location, slashing him with your elemental attack before he could run away.
You kept your hand against the gaping hole in your stomach as the burn from the bullet's pyro infusion spread continuously through your body.
"Y/N," You snapped out of your memories when you heard your name and saw Verr Goldet standing at the door to your room. She entered and placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. "How are you feeling?"
"Verr, what happened? I wasn't supposed to be here." She sighed and removed her hand before staring out the window.
"Xiao would be quite angry if he heard you say that. Well, not that he's not already angry." You furrowed your eyebrows at the statement, urging her to continue explaining. "He... found you near the Chasm and took you to Liyue Harbor so Zhongli and Baizhu could help him. As far as I am aware, he went back after bringing you here to collect necessary medication."
"He did all of that?"
"Is that really surprising?" She tilted her head with a small smile as you closed your eyes.
"I need to go and meet him. He didn't deserve to see me in that state, after everything he's been through." You began walking past her when she spoke up again.
"Let him be, for now. He will want you to rest rather than go out once more. You can talk once he's back." Contemplating her reasoning, you nodded your head and continued walking.
"I'll be on the terrace, then." You walked up the staircase slowly and reached the top floor of the Inn. The breeze felt much better with the open surroundings as you walked further and leaned against the railing. The wind rustled your hair ever so slightly and you tucked a few stray strands away from your eyesight.
Your gaze fell to the ground beneath and you stared at guests at the Inn taking strolls along the river. "How am I supposed to protect these people when I can't even control myself?" You looked at your hand as you remembered how you had almost lost control due to your overwhelming karma after being attacked. To not cause casualties, you had to let yourself bleed out so you would have no power left to even move.
"I had no choice," You whispered, trying to convince yourself that it was the best possible decision. You clenched your fist and placed your knuckles against your forehead as a frown took a place on your face.
"Y/N!" The voice cut sharply through the silence, and you looked behind to see Xiao rushing over to you. Before you could say anything, he grabbed your face and pulled you closer to him. "What the hell were you thinking?! Did you lose your mind to attempt such a stunt?!" His voice was hoarse with anger and frustration as he glared at you.
"Xiao, I-" You tried to reason with him, but you had no argument against him. He was right: as an Adeptus, as a Yaksha, you should have been able to handle the situation much better. When you went silent, Xiao exhaled heavily but let go of you, stepping back to give you some space.
"Why didn't you call out for me?" He looked at the ground as he asked, not wanting to see your sorrowful expression any longer.
"I didn't want you to see me in that state." You answered truthfully and looked up to see his reaction. His head snapped to look you in the eyes.
"'To see you in that state'?! Is that what you were worried about?! What about our oath to protect one another? Or did you think it was made simply for reassurance?" His eyes raged like you had never seen before. "If I had been even a minute late, I would have lost you."
"Xiao, you have been through so much. For you to see me like that would have been too cruel." Your vision blurred as tears began welling up in your eyes. His eyes widened as he looked at you in confusion.
"And me finding you dead, when I could have done something about it wouldn't have been? All these centuries together, just for you to be ready to leave like that?" He asked, a lot calmer this time, as he stepped closer. "Y/N, we didn't take that oath so you could forget about it when you saw fit." You could hear the hurt in his voice as it strained the more he spoke.
"I know." Feeling guilty for your actions, you stared at your feet. You felt his hands cupping your cheeks and lifting your head to look back at him. Surprised at his actions, your eyes widened.
"I can't lose you too. So, please, call out my name when you find yourself in trouble- and I shall do the same." You nodded right away and placed your hands on his, feeling the warmth you never thought you would receive.
"I promise." You whispered as you stared at him.
"Good, because just thinking about what could have happened- I," He stopped himself from speaking further and looked away.
"But I'm here now because of you. I'm right in front of you." You attempted to gaze into his eyes, but he continued to stare beneath, at both of your feet. You wanted to see the beautiful shine of his golden irises again. "Xiao, look at me," you whispered in desperation, and he lifted his head up with hesitation. Your hands moved away from his and cupped his cheeks in return.
"I'm right here," You reassured him once more, your voice becoming softer by the second.
"Then, continue to stay by my side, as you always have," He pleaded, and you pressed your forehead against his.
"I will," You whispered as your thumbs caressed the sides of his face as you stared back into his hurtful eyes.
"I don't want to lose you,"
"You won't," You replied without waiting. "I was wrong to not call for you, but I know now. I will never leave you again." You cherished each other's presence as silence fell upon you, your foreheads still against the other. The gentle whistle of the wind brought forth a lovely tune, as if to serenade the two of you underneath the night sky.
"Xiao, can I kiss you?" You muttered, at last, not wanting to hold the question back anymore. You could see the shock take over his face as he stared at you as if to see if you were lying. Once he saw the look in your eyes, however, you could feel him relax in your hold. He simply nodded and closed his eyes, waiting for you to take initiative.
At that moment, it only felt right when you leaned forward and pressed your lips against his. You heard Xiao release a sharp breath through his nose before you felt his hand slide across your cheek and through your hair. His reciprocation urged you to get even closer and wrap your arms around his neck, so you did, while he wrapped his free arm around your waist.
All you needed was this moment to feel everything Xiao had to give you, and you wanted to give him your all in return. As his lips pressed further against yours, you felt him push you slightly against the railing, so you leaned back on it and let yourself be entranced by him.
"Y/N," he whispered between your kisses as his breathing grew heavy, but he'd rather continue feeling you against him than worry for air. Neither of you were ready to let go, afraid the other might disappear. So, you clung to one another in desperation, pulling at each other's clothes to get as close as possible.
Once you both opened your eyes and found yourselves looking at each other, all else faded away. There was only him, and there was only you. You felt tears prick your eyes once you saw his intense gaze on you, lost in the heat of the moment. So, you closed yours and leaned your forehead against his shoulder.
"Don't hide away from me now: I want to see all of you," he hummed and stroked your hair, his fingers as gentle as possible.
"How can you say such things without so much as a flinch?" You laughed through your tears and tightened your arms around him.
"Because I now know what I've been doing wrong. Let me correct it." He took a deep breath before continuing, "And I want you to look at me once more." Startled by his sudden directness, you looked up as he met your gaze right away. "Look only at me," He whispered before cupping your cheek and kissing you. A sigh left your lips as you closed your eyes, relishing the moment for as long as possible.
Your hands slid into his hair and softly stroked his locks as they brushed past them. The gentle and hesitant feeling of Xiao's lips melted away the longer he kissed you, instead, becoming desperate for more of your touch. "Don't leave me again," he begged, not letting you answer back as his lips were on yours again. You both knew there was nothing else to be said: the answer was obvious.
You had destroyed the walls between the both of you by kissing him first, and now none of you wanted this to end. It was clear in the way you called out each other's names, the way you conveyed your feelings without saying anything: an unspoken oath.
Your lover's oath.

you remembered the feeling of the pyroslinger bracer's cold barrel against your forehead to seal your fate, but no trigger was pulled.
"dude, do you need to count down to three or something," you fumed, "or is this your first time?"
no response. blood boiling with vexation, your eyes flew open and fastened themselves onto the last thing you thought you would ever see in your last moments in teyvat.
the trees were unreservedly stripped of all their leaves, which were now swirling furiously in a whirlwind of vermilion and viridescent colors. on either side of you lied the three fatui members that had been on your heels before.
"sweet archons..." you said, astounded by the prepossessing sight and still buzzing with adrenaline.
"reader?"
you swiveled your head around to meet the red eyes of a young man with white hair, which had a large red streak curled out from one side, sheathing his sword.
"k-kazuha...!?" you stammered in disbelief.
the wanderer kaedehara kazuha was no stranger. you came into contact with him recently after the denouement of the vision hunt when he was idly seeking for poetic inspiration.
believing you were the shopkeeper since kuroda had snuck off to snack on sakura shrimp crackers, kazuha had approached you to ask for some novel recommendations.
"recommendations?" you repeated, omitting your anticipation for kuroda's return at the yae publishing house as you turned from the counter to face kazuha, who you weren't acquainted with at the moment.
kazuha nodded with a gentle smile. "yes, i was stopping by to see if there were any books i could purchase before i went back to sea."
anything under the umbrella of literature captivated you, which was the reason why you chased after your dreams all the way to the isolated archipelago of inazuma, so you were overflowing with information about the best and the worst in the world of publications.
you asked, "what genre of books do you like, sir? romance? fantasy? action?"
"what genre of books do you prefer?" he responded after giving it a second of contemplation, completely disarming your brain of all the titles you were ready to list.
"eh, me?" you fretted.
"is there a book that you like to read in your spare time?"
...well, of course you had to promote the masterpieces crafted by your boss, hotaru, and revised by yours truly!
"oh, i just love yamamoto hotaru's recent novel, thread the noodle!" you cooed, eyes sparkling like polished gems. "it's about this couple who go through the ups and downs of running a noodle shop together after having their previous company building destroyed by a natural disaster. and i also really like the second book he published, once upon a crime! the crowned heir and a wanted traitor have to work together to save their kingdom, which obviously calls for several intimate moments together!
"as you can tell, i'm a sucker for romance, but if there's anything specific you would like for me to suggest by hotaru—"
kazuha's mellow chuckle placed a hold on your incessant jabbering. "i see you are very passionate about your interests," he reckoned.
your face burned bright red, and in the little while of silence, you could feel your heart hammering rapidly against your ribcage when you saw your reflection in his eyes. "i am."
"i'll take the first book you mentioned, thread the noodle."
"c-coming right up! oh, wait, i'm not actually the shopkeeper of the yae publishing house."
"excuse me?"
kuroda came storming into the picture from out of nowhere, ready to have fists start flying. "hey, reader, are you seriously drumming up illegal business right in front of my store?"
"illegal? what was in your shrimp crackers to make you think i would do anything like that!?"
"well, you obviously don't know this man! he's a refugee named kaedehara kazuha!"
"ex-refugee," kazuha couldn't help butting in.
regardless of whether he was a refugee or ex-refugee, this young man always had a place in your heart now.

Yandere Pyroslinger Bracer: Tracking an escapee (HCs)
Brain ded
Going to beat it till it works with rambles
So have dis
Tumblr media
His tracking skills and eagle eye(s) is a force to be reckoned with. He may be a mere marksman in the team, though that doesn’t mean he’s only useful for that. Trained since his initiation and beyond enhanced his eye(s) on picking up abnormalities faster, whether by tracks or movements, he’ll pick it up quickly.
Having his body enhanced by the delusion, can proudly say he can go on tracking you down for a day without any sleep, boosting his progress on track you down. Try him. He will find you.
You can be smart as long you want with hiding your tracks from him on land, but he has been training ever since he joined the Fatui. He’ll find your mistakes that has been overlooked by you.
On large bodies of water, such as the ocean, he’s clueless. There’s no tracks leading where you went, and he has to now find witnesses with a damn good alibi on why he needs information on you.
So those who live in Inazuma, you have a 95% chance of loosing him in the waters compared to living in Liyue and Monstant.
If you have a vision with you though. Good luck. The vision trails you leave behind will rat you out to him. So if you want to be free, then you have to fight.
He’s a very hard person to nab for polearms, swords, and bow users. As he’s very nimble and can just dodge his way out. Catalyst users on the other hand though, would find it easy to defeat him - especially hydro vision bearers.
If you're defeated, expect him to tie you up, throw your weapon away, take away your vision (if have one), and a very long and hard day ahead of you. This game of cat and mouse has gotten him... excited... for far too long. He will not stop, even if you're crying.
If he's defeated though. Kill him.
He will not rest until he has you in his arms bloodied, bruised, even half dead if he has to. There is nothing stopping him on find you. Nothing. You must kill him if you value your life and freedom.

This is... kind of embarassing off anon, but if I may, can I please request headcanons of geochanter/m!reader/pyroslinger poly? I couldn't find if you mentioned whether or not you did poly, my apologies if you don't ^^'
I'd imagine Pyro to be cheeky. Smug, if you will. I mean, look at the way he's standing in the archive? Geo on the other hand, looks really... affable? He wouldn't tease as much as Pyro, but that doesn't mean he won't at all. Probably the more diligent of the two. Ah, sorry if this was too specific, thank you Lane!
a/n: I love these funky dudes. Hope this is what you were looking for! <3
tags: m!readerxPyroslinger/Geochanter(poly), fluff, hcs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Pyro always runs really warm and still demands to be underneath at least one big ass comforter. He is a menace to cuddle, and to society in general. At least Geo offers to be in the middle and it offsets the heat to some extent? Only a little though</3
-Speaking of being the diligent one, Geo at least makes sure everyone has gotten their respective work done for the day. And a smooch for each task completed. A cutie in disguise, if you will. Pyro makes this a game he intends to win though.
-While Pyro loves banter, he’s always wary of outsiders trying to banter with you. Is he jealous? Yes. Will he admit it? No. Geo knows though, and these are one of those rare times where he will tease, so mean about it too lmao. “Aw can’t take him having friends that make him laugh?” “Shut up, he can have friends.” “Uhuh, alright.”
-Geo isn’t one to often get distracted while working, but if you’re in the vicinity, he’s the one more likely to seek you out, if only for a few moments. Given he’s often working with Pyro, he doesn’t need to seek him out as often. But if Pyro wanders off… Geo is going too. There is no escape, only your shield bf.
-Cold food is to Pyro what warm food is to Chongyun. It’s funny though. He sees a snow cone and takes it as a personal offense. Will voice this constantly. Just give him the nearest skewer and he’ll be fine smh. He has two modes, big baby or smug bastard. Good luck.
-In the same vein Pyro is shit at cooking, at least Geo can manage to procure something resembling food. But! Since he’s so bad at cooking, whoever is cooking that night gets one (1) boy attached to their back. Kind of a hindrance, but he’s also very cute, so he can get away with it. Arms around your waist, chin either on your head or shoulder, and he just stays there.
-Stolen! Kisses! At! Work!
-”I’m working.” “No no it is kiss time.” “What he said.” “Okay one.” “Five.” “Five.” “Okay.”
-Geo is always the first to wake and the last to bed. However, this means that on days off, you can convince him to take midday naps and he will. He likes to lounge on the couch with you on his chest. Out like a light this one smh. Pyro has taken way too many photos on his Kamera of this same scene. He then proceeds to throw himself on top of the two of you because how dare you leave him out of this.

their kisses
Notes: this is for that Pyro Agent missing nonny from back then-
Ft: Pyro Agent, Electrohammer, Pyroslinger, Anemoboxer
Pyro Agent
He kisses as if he’s dying of thirst and you’re the last bucket of water on Teyvat. His lips bruises as he steals your breath and spells his passion with his tongue. He’s so used to ignoring his needs that when it spills over he’s unable to let go, capturing your lips over and over again until his hunger's satisfied - for now.
Electrohammer
It happened so naturally, one moment you were staring into his eyes the next he had his fingers on your chin, tilting your head as his lips met yours. His kisses were sure and firm just like his person who’s presence always brought you a sense of comfort and security. When you parted, the subdued flush across the bridge of his nose made him look younger as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
Pyroslinger
He nibbles and teases, covering your face with affection. Your amusement is music to his ears and he can’t help but tempt more and more. The more you struggle to get away from his ticklish ministrations the more he tightens his hold, peppering your cheeks and lavishing your neck with kitten licks and kisses. You tell him to kiss you right and without hesitation, he seals his smile with yours.
Anemoboxer
He’s gentle and lets you take the pace as his large hands rests lightly on your waist. He’s drunk from the sweetness of your lips and chases after the sensation whenever you pull away. He’s mastered the pout you can’t resist and uses it often to ask for more kisses he won’t take without permission.

The fatui skirmishers can get👏🏼 it👏🏼
Especially the pyroslinger
He's my favorite <3
Imagine your a simple traveler who was dumb enough to go to dragonspine with low supplies, causing you to succumb to the bitter cold. You awake to find yourself at the fatui skirmisher camp because they may be bad guys but theyre not Bad Guys yknow.
The fire isn't enough to keep you warm so you huddle up with the pyroslinger.
He gives you a long hard look with his single glowing eye. Silently he makes his way over to you to share bodyheat near the openfire. He is a dangerous man and so are his crew, you don't doubt that they can annihilate you if they so wish.
But for now, you can enjoy the comfort of being close to the silent pyroslinger. Who, by the way, out of his good graces wrapped an arm around your shoulders. His form bringing our a comforting warmth to help melt away the frost you feel from dragonspine. You fail to notice how he looks at you from the corner of his eye, burning just as fiery as the warmth you give him as well.

Tragic Outcomes 2
Pairings: Xiao x fem!Reader x Zhongli
Summary: Ever since the incident, Zhongli has offered to take care of you while you heal from your injuries. You had endless nightmares and night terrors that prevented you from sleeping. Just when you thought that your torment was over, it seems like someone didn't want it to end.
Note: Hello, this is my mega late update because it's around 3 AM where I'm at and I am finally done with typing this story out! I had sociology midterms this week and everything has been hectic lately, so, I apologize for the late updates. I do have another midterm coming up along with an interview, so, I hope to get something posted that week as well! Hopefully not too late like this one. Yes, I made Lumine the bad guy for the plot. We know it was going to happen after what has happened in part one. know this gets really annoying because I post it in every single one of my posts, but to my new readers or returning readers, please understand that I post on AO3 as well, so, if you have an AO3 and see a work similar to this, it’s me (Aaliah_exo on AO3). I don’t post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: Emotional cheating (on reader's end), Lumine is a homewrecker and is possessive, attempt of murder
Word Count: 8.8k
Tragic Outcome Chapters: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]
A sharp pain shot through you as you flew into the cement wall; you crumbled to the ground, shaking from the pain. Blood drips down your face as you struggle to get up from the floor. Your heart was punching your ribcage, making you wince at the feeling. A chorus of laughter echos in your head, making you tremble. The dirt and dry grass crunching beneath the person’s footsteps as they approached you.
“For someone who holds a vision, you sure are weak.” The Fatui cryogunner legionnaire cackles as the Fatui electrohammer vanguard grabs you by the collar of your shirt and slams you against the wall. You grunted in pain as you felt the electrohammer vanguard grab onto your jaws tightly with his left hand.
“Aw, you seem like you’re in a lot of excruciating pain.” The Fatui pyroslinger bracer coos in a mocking tone; he lets out a laugh before pressing the barrel of his gun up against your temple. “I can end all of your sufferings by pulling the trigger if you’d like.” He smirks at you.
Gathering up the courage, you gathered saliva in your mouth and spat at the electrohammer vanguard’s face. Blood continues to cascade down your face, wincing in pain when the electrohammer vanguard tightens his grip around your jaws. The Fatui electrohammer vanguard’s face pinches up in disgust, wiping your saliva off of his face with his right hand.
“You’re going to regret that.” He growls, tightening his grip around your jaws further. You screeched in pain when he tightened his grip; you felt nothing but excruciating pain when your jaws snapped. The pain was endless as you continued to let out a blood-curdling scream, praying for Morax to just end your suffering already.
“[Y/N]!”
You continue to scream as the electrohammer vanguard tightens his hands around your jaws even more. If your jaw wasn’t broken before, it sure is now. You can taste your blood as it fills up your mouth. Blood drips from the corner of your mouth, the Fatui skirmisher’s laughter echos in your head.
“[Y/N]!”
Your eye snaps open; you look around the dark bedroom with panic. Zhongli was hovering above you, his hands caressing your face. His eyebrows were furrowing with worry. Your chest was heaving with every breath you took; your heart continued to race against your ribcage. Zhongli helps you sit up as tears pool in your eye. Ever since the incident, you have been experiencing constant night terrors. The nightmares would be about you reliving your torture. The night terrors wouldn’t stop, no matter how often you’ve gone to therapy for it.
Zhongli pulls you into his arms and onto his lap, holding onto you gently. “You’re okay. You’re safe with me.” Zhongli whispers.
You bury your face into his shirt; your tears stain his white silk shirt. You held onto his shirt tightly, clinging onto the former archon. The dark bedroom was filled with soft sniffles and small whimpers every now and then. No matter how tired you felt, you could never get proper sleep due to the night terrors. It’s gotten to the point where you would pass out from exhaustion, and Zhongli would find you passed out on the floor in the middle of the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, or the front yard.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Zhongli whispers, his lips gently brushing your earlobes. You shook your head and buried your face further into his chest. “You’re safe with me. They can’t hurt you anymore. I won’t let them hurt you anymore.” He murmurs, gently rubbing your back.
“What if they do, Zhongli?” You whisper, “What if they came back to finish me off?” You pulled away from his chest, looking up at Zhongli with fear in your eyes. Tears began to make their way down your cheek as you swallowed the lump in your throat.
Zhongli gently cups your face in his hands, wiping the tears away. “I won’t let them put their hands on you. Never again.” He shakes his head, a deep frown appearing on his face. “Childe won’t let them put their hands on you ever again, neither will I,” Zhongli states, pressing a gentle kiss on your forehead.
You nod your head hesitantly before laying against Zhongli’s chest, closing your eyes as you snuggle up against him. You held onto his silk shirt tightly in your fist, afraid of letting him go. Zhongli wrapped both of his arms around your waist and reached over to grab the blanket from behind you before draping it over your body. After a while, Zhongli feels you become limp in his arms as your breath evens out. You had finally drifted off to sleep; Zhongli just hopes that you’ll be able to get some sleep without any night terrors. But ever since the incident had happened, you were having endless night terrors.
Zhongli can hear soft snores coming from you; a small smile appears on Zhongli’s face as he leans over to get a good look at your sleeping face. You looked so cute when you were sleeping. The way you’re curled up against Zhongli’s chest makes him feel warm and soft on the inside. He brushes your hair away from your face before kissing the top of your head. Zhongli leaned his head back against the wooden headboard and closed his eyes, feeling himself drift off to sleep. Zhongli opens his eyes and looks around the dark bedroom, narrowing his eyes.
“I know you’re there,” Zhongli spoke up softly, carefully trying not to wake you up. “Quite frankly, I know that you’ve stood outside the bedroom window every night to watch over [Y/N].” Zhongli feels you tighten your grip around his waist, still fast asleep.
“She’s been having night terrors endlessly.” He combs his fingers through your hair, “It has gotten to the point where she doesn’t want to sleep at all, fearing that she will dream of the horrors over and over again.” A small whimper escapes from your lips. Zhongli pulls you closer to his body and begins to whisper comforting words into your ears, hoping that it will calm you down as you’re in deep slumber.
“You’re safe with me, [Y/N]. No one can hurt you anymore.” Zhongli whispers; the soft whimpering is then replaced with a soft snore. Zhongli smiles and kisses the top of your head once more, “That’s my girl.” Zhongli smiles, continuing to comb his fingers through your hair.
Outside of the bedroom window stood Xiao. Hearing Zhongli’s quiet comforting words, your whimpers, and your cries made Xiao’s heart clench in his chest.
Ever since you have been released from Bubu Pharmacy, with the approval from Baizhu and the doctors from Sumeru and Fontaine, you have been staying over at Zhongli’s place. Due to the extent of your injuries, Zhongli has offered to care for you as you were slowly healing from the tragic incident with the Fatui Skirmishers. Even though you didn’t want to burden Zhongli, Zhongli and Childe insisted that you weren’t a burden at all.
“You should stay with Zhongli! After all, the trip back to Wangshu Inn is quite far, and you’re still healing.” Childe says, brushing a stray hair away from your face. “I also don’t want you to run into that awful adepti,” Childe mutters under his breath. While you didn’t hear Childe’s side comment, Zhongli did.
Zhongli clears his throat before speaking up, “What Childe is trying to say is that it’s dangerous to be walking back to Wangshu Inn on your own. You can stay at my place as you’re healing from your traumatic injuries.” Zhongli says, giving you a small smile. “After all, you have to go to Baizhu for a weekly check-up,” Zhongli adds.
“Alright then, but I don’t want to burden the two of you.” You frowned.
Childe groans and throws his head back dramatically, rubbing his face with his gloved hand, and sighs softly. “[Y/N], you will never be a burden to us!” Childe whines, gently throwing his arms around your shoulders. “Whoever calls you a burden, let me know, and I’ll handle them for you,” Childe whispers into your ears, kissing the top of your head.
“Wait, if I’m staying with Zhongli and he offered to take me under his wings and care for me, is Hu Tao okay with this?” You ask, looking up at Zhongli.
“Director Hu is okay with it as long as I show up to work when my help is needed. If she does need my assistance, I will bring you along with me, or Childe can watch you for the time being.” Zhongli answers. Childe nods his head happily with a smile on his face.
While it was nice of Zhongli to offer to care for you and have you stay at his place while you healed, Xiao was not happy about it when he heard the news from Paimon and the twins. Xiao was sitting on the wooden railing of Wangshu Inn when Aether and Lumine approached him with almond tofu in their hands. Aether offers Xiao the almond tofu as Lumine sits down beside Xiao. The twins talked about their commissions in Liyue Harbor and how Aether was forced to play as the pirate, despite wanting to be the good guy.
“I wanted to be the good guy for once, but Little Meng said I’ll be the good guy next time. It never happens! I’m always the bad guy somehow!” Aether groused, crossing his arms over his chest with a slight pout on his face. Lumine giggles and takes a small look over at Xiao to look at his reaction, but Xiao continues to eat his almond tofu. Lumine frowns and looks over at the horizon, her hands itching to grab Xiao’s hand.
“Oh! We also saw [Y/N] and Mister Zhongli walking around Liyue Harbor together! It seems like they’re very close together!” Paimon says, twirling in the air. Xiao stops chewing on his almond tofu and looks at Paimon quizzically. You were out of Baizhu’s care already? How long has it been since the tragic incident?
“Paimon thinks that Mister Zhongli and [Y/N] are dating! They look really cute together!” Paimon gushes, a big smile appears on Paimon’s face. Aether and Lumine glance over at one another, then at Xiao. Xiao swallows the almond tofu and places the plate down beside him.
“You saw them together today?” Xiao asks, clearing his throat, trying to act like the thought of you being seen with Zhongli didn’t bother him at all. Ever since the incident and witnessing how Zhongli looks at you, Xiao has been wary of leaving you alone with Zhongli. But since the twins and Paimon spotted you in the Harbor with Zhongli, looking quite close with one another, Xiao felt his heart clench in his chest. Paimon nods her head at Xiao’s question, not noticing that her comment was putting him in a bad mood.
“Yeah, they were walking around Liyue Harbor together. Because [Y/N] is still healing from her injuries, Mister Zhongli has been guiding [Y/N] around the Harbor.” Aether replies, watching the adepti closely. After Xiao has gotten back from visiting you at Bubu Pharmacy, Xiao has been acting off recently.
Lumine laughs nervously while Aether covers Paimon’s mouth, preventing her from mentioning other things about you and Zhongli. “You know, Xiao! I made you the almond tofu! I know how you like your almond tofu.” Lumine says, leaning close to Xiao with a shy smile on her face. Xiao hums, not in the mood to talk. He crossed his arms over his chest and got up from his spot. Before Aether, Lumine and Paimon could process what was going on; Xiao disappears in a puff of smoke.
Aether looks over at Lumine in disbelief, “Lumine! Were you trying to make a move on Xiao!?”
Lumine rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest with a huff. “I know he has feelings for me too, Aether! I’m not the only one that’s making moves on someone!” Aether looks at Lumine in disbelief before scoffing, rolling his eyes.
“Xiao has a girlfriend, Lumine. I never knew that you were a homewrecker.” Aether got up from his spot and hopped off of the wooden railing of Wangshu Inn. “Flirting and getting close with another girl’s boyfriend? I never knew you’d stoop so low, Lumine.” He shakes his head in disapproval.
“As if they’ll last any longer together.” Lumine snickers, hopping from her spot while dusting the dirt off her skirt. “[Y/N]’s going to choose Mister Zhongli over Xiao; I just know it.” She turns towards Aether and Paimon. “And do you know who is Xiao going to run to after [Y/N] chooses Mister Zhongli? Me, obviously.” Lumine brushes her blonde hair off her shoulders with a small smirk on her face as she bats her eyelashes.
Aether and Paimon frown at Lumine as she struts off; both Aether and Paimon look over at one another in disbelief; they were too stunned to say anything. Aether and Paimon have never seen Lumine so determined to make Xiao hers, especially when Xiao is already in a relationship with someone else that wasn’t Lumine. Although the relationship is strained at the moment, but Aether was not comfortable with the thought of Lumine and Xiao being together after something tragic had happened to you because of them.
Ever since Paimon told Xiao about how the three of them have spotted you in Liyue Harbor with Zhongli, Xiao has been on edge. While doing his duty to protect Liyue, Xiao would stop by Zhongli’s house at night to make sure you were safe and okay (how did Xiao know that you were staying with Zhongli? He may or may not have followed after you and Zhongli). And that you were not getting intimate with Zhongli. Although there are times when Xiao wouldn’t be standing outside the bedroom window to watch over you to make sure you were okay, other times his Karmic debt was so bad that he didn’t want to be near anyone as he was suffering.
Some nights, he would hear you let out a blood-curdling scream in your sleep. Xiao felt his heart tear in his chest at the sounds of your pained screams and cries. The pained screams and cries that he was supposed to put an end to, but instead, it was Zhongli that was comforting you. His arms around your fragile body, wiping away your tears, whispering comforting words into your ears as you whimper softly into his chest.
“You’re safe with me, [Y/N]. Everything will be okay.” Xiao hears, his heart drops to the pit of his stomach as a lump starts to form in his throat. He peeks into the window; he can hear his heart tear to pieces at the sight of Zhongli caressing your face in his hands, wiping your tears away with the tip of his thumb.
Xiao was the one that was supposed to wipe your tears away. Xiao was the one that was supposed to be comforting you after you had woken up from a nightmare. Xiao was the one that was supposed to be whispering comforting words into your ears as you buried your face into his chest, holding onto his shirt tightly for comfort. Xiao was supposed to be in Zhongli’s spot, but instead, he’s standing outside of Zhongli’s house, watching another man— the man he looks up to, comfort his girlfriend. The girl he failed to protect, the girl who was horribly injured because of him. Xiao clenches his jaws at the sight of you lying in Zhongli’s arms before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Xiao would be lying if he said that he didn’t want to break into Zhongli’s house and be by your side as you were sleeping. He missed the days when you slept peacefully in his arms, ignorant to the dangers lurking in the darkness. You looked so peaceful, and you weren’t traumatized then. But now, you had endless night terrors that would make you wake up in cold sweat or wake up screaming bloody murder. Xiao wanted to get rid of your night terrors, but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to do so because he was the reason why you ended up in this situation. You can only see out of one eye; you’re still healing from other traumatic injuries that could have taken your life away. All of the injuries that you’ve gotten were because of him!
Xiao chose to help out Aether and Lumine with their commissions and left you all on your own. You wanted him to help you out with your commission so that you could spend at least one day with him before he went back to hang out with the twins. Xiao ignored your calls and cries when you were on the brink of death. The sound of you screaming his name with fear and anguish were endless echoes in his head; it haunts him every day.
If he had appeared before you in such situations, you wouldn’t have sustained such injuries. If Xiao had accompanied you on your commissions, you wouldn’t need to rely on others to care for your injuries, nor would you need extensive surgeries to prevent you from dying. If Xiao hadn’t chosen the twins over you, you wouldn’t be having constant night terrors to the point where you would refuse to sleep. If Xiao could turn back time, he would do it in a heartbeat. But fate was not on Xiao’s side—when was fate ever on his side?
Now here you guys are; you would be sleeping in Zhongli’s arms, occasionally tensing in Zhongli’s arms due to your night terrors while Xiao would be outside the bedroom window. Listening to your cries and whimpers as Zhongli tries to comfort you. It was a vicious cycle. As much as Xiao wanted to appear in the room to comfort you, he didn’t know if you would like to see him. Heck, Xiao doesn’t even know if Zhongli would want to see him either. Xiao knows for sure that Childe would be very unhappy if he were to see Xiao in your presence. Childe didn’t approve of your relationship with Xiao at the beginning of your relationship; now Xiao knows for sure that Childe hates his guts. Childe makes it known and very obvious that he hates Xiao’s guts. Xiao was pretty sure that you hated him too, especially since the argument the two of you had when Xiao first visited you at Bubu Pharmacy.
Xiao hates the thought of you being so close with Zhongli, the man that looks at you as if you’re his whole world. Xiao has never seen Zhongli look at anyone like how he looks at you whenever you’re around. Xiao lets out a shaky breath before disappearing into the night with a puff of smoke. Even though you and Xiao are far from one another, Xiao refuses to have Zhongli get so close to you.
You were roused from your sleep when the sun shined in your face, blinding you. You scrunched your face up and grumbled, burying your face into your pillow, and hugged the pillow tightly. Weirdly enough, the pillow was a bit harder than you thought. Subconsciously, you lightly squeeze the pillow. You hear a low chuckle as the pillow beneath your head bounces lightly. Your eye snaps open, and you look up at the supposed pillow. Zhongli was looking down at you with an amused look on his face. You feel your face heat up as you quickly sit up on Zhongli’s lap, face burning from embarrassment. You just groped Zhongli’s back. At least it wasn’t his ass; that would’ve been way worse.
“How long was I asleep?” You ask, looking away from Zhongli shyly.
Zhongli smiles, “You slept for the entire night. Thankfully, you didn’t wake up from a night terror after you’ve fallen asleep.” Zhongli replies. You leaned over to get the eyepatch on the nightstand and begin putting it on. Ever since you chose to remove the eye that no longer works, wearing an eyepatch felt a little bit strange. To be really honest, seeing out of one eye was even more complicated than you thought it would be.
You smiled shyly, “It’s all thanks to you, Zhongli.” You fumbled with the drawstring on his pajama pants. “I was able to get some sleep because you make me feel safe.” Your face starts to turn red. “I feel safe when I’m with you, and I’m thankful for everything you’ve done for me.” Zhongli gently grips your chin and tilt your head up. You look up at Zhongli meekly as the both of you stare into each other's eyes (eye?).
“I’ll do anything for you, [Y/N]. I will do everything in my power to keep you safe at all times.” Zhongli whispers, his thumb brushing your bottom lip. “I will make sure that nothing shall harm a single hair on your head.” You couldn’t help but look down at Zhongli’s lips, then back up at Zhongli’s eyes. Zhongli has not taken his eyes off you one bit; he watched you look down at his lips then back at his eyes, clearly in a trance.
“Zhongli—” You were cut off by the sound of knocking coming from the bedroom door. Both you and Zhongli look over at the door, only to see Childe peek his head into the bedroom with a bright smile on his face.
“Knock knock! Good morning, lovebirds!” Childe chirps, walking into the bedroom with a cheeky smile on his face. “I stopped by with some breakfast! Something delicious for the both of you! Mainly for [Y/N] because she did get the wires removed from her jaws yesterday.” Childe claps his hands happily.
“How generous of you, Childe,” Zhongli says; you smile and nod your head. “If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get into my house?” Zhongli raises his eyebrow at the ginger Fatui Harbinger.
Childe laughed nervously and held up the housekey in the air. “I may or may not have duplicated the housekey. I did the same with [Y/N]’s room at Wangshu Inn.” Childe says. You blinked at Childe, not sure how to respond to Childe’s explanation. “It’s a little bit creepy, but I did it for a good reason!” Childe argues, pouting dramatically.
“A little bit creepy?” You ask, looking at him skeptically.
“Okay! Fine, it’s really creepy! The breakfast is getting cold on the dining table! Get your lazy butts off the bed and go eat, or else it’ll be cold by the time you get to the table!” Childe whines. You sighed softly and got off of Zhongli.
“At least let me get ready for the day.” You limped over to the bathroom and closed the door behind you.
Even though you broke your leg, Doctor Baizhu and the doctors of Sumeru and Fontaine have you come into Bubu Pharmacy to get your weekly check-ups. The check-ups consisted of the three of them healing your broken bones gradually. While letting you heal naturally seemed like a good idea, you begged them to heal you much faster because you didn’t want Zhongli or Childe to look after you constantly. Even though you appreciate their offer to help you heal, you couldn’t help but feel guilty for doing so because you feel like you’re taking them away from their important duties. Whether it’s Childe’s Fatui business or Zhongli’s job at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, you didn’t want them to miss important things at work so that they could take care of you.
While your leg is still healing, it was definitely not in the same condition as it was when you first came out of surgery. You could say the same for your other broken bones; they’re not in the worst state as it was last time, but it’s healing. You stared into the mirror and hesitantly took off your eyepatch and gazed into the mirror. You didn’t look like yourself anymore. You didn’t feel like you were looking at your own reflection; it was like you were looking at a stranger instead.
You reached up and touched the scar, wincing in pain when your fingers brushed over the spot. Yeah, maybe it wasn’t the best to touch a scar from a recent surgery. Perhaps you can talk to Doctor Baizhu and the two doctors from Sumeru and Fontaine on healing the scar much faster.
While you’re in the bathroom getting ready, Childe nudges at Zhongli with a suggestive look on his face as he wiggles his eyebrow with a smirk on his face.
“How was your cuddle with [Y/N]?” Childe asks innocently; Zhongli rolls his eyes, stands up from the bed, and walks over to his closet to get ready for the day. “I saw how the two of you were cozying up with one another.” Childe sings, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Childe, I was comforting [Y/N] from her night terrors last night, and we both fell asleep,” Zhongli says simply, opening the closet door to pick out his usual attire.
Childe furrows his eyebrows in confusion at Zhongli’s comment, “Night terrors?” Childe asks, leaning against the dresser. “She has night terrors?” Zhongli nods his head with a soft sigh.
“Ever since she has been released from Bubu Pharmacy, [Y/N] has been plagued with nightmares of the time the Fatui Skirmishers attacked her.” Zhongli closed the dresser’s door with a sigh. “[Y/N] would be whimpering, crying, sometimes even screaming in her sleep.” Zhongli sighs softly and runs his hands through his hair.
“This all started because of the incident, correct?” Childe asks, clenching his jaws. Zhongli nods his head, “That’s correct.”
Childe scoffs and shakes his head, “I’m going to kill that fucking adepti.” Childe mutters, his hands clenching into a fist. Zhongli shoots Childe a warning glare; before Zhongli could say anything, you walked out of the bathroom.
“Who’s going to kill who?” Childe and Zhongli look over at where you’re standing. You yawned and plopped face down on the bed, still exhausted from lack of sleep. If only you could fall asleep without any issues, that would be amazing.
Childe lets out a fake laugh and scratches the back of his neck, “Just talking about how I’m going to kill the trainees if they cause any trouble!” Childe replies. You reached up and grabbed a pillow before hugging it against your chest. “You’re not going to go and eat breakfast?” Childe asks, sitting down beside you.
You sighed softly, “I do want to eat, but I’m so exhausted.” You whispered, snuggling up against the pillow. “I can pass out asleep right now if I wanted to, but that wouldn’t last long at all.” You sat up on the bed with a huff and tossed the pillow back to where it was previously.
“Have you thought about asking Doctor Baizhu to prescribe you some medication to help you sleep?” Childe asks, brushing your messy hair with his fingers. You shook your head with a frown.
“Even if I did ask him to prescribe some medication for me, the nightmares will still plague me.” You laugh sarcastically. “It’s endless, and it just won’t stop, no matter how much I wanted it to.” You rubbed your eye tiredly.
Childe huffs, “Yeah, I’m definitely going to kill him.” He crosses his arms over his chest with a deep frown on his face. Too tired to say anything, you plopped back on the bed and closed your eyes. “But you should get something to eat! It’s not good to skip out on meals, you know.” Childe scolds you, gently poking the side of your head.
You cracked your eye opened and glared at him, “I know that, Childe. I don’t think I have the energy to get up and eat, though. I’m too tired, and I just want to sleep in all day and do nothing at all!” You grabbed the blanket and tossed it over your head.
“Oh, no, no, no! Get your butt out of bed, missy! We are going to have you eat some breakfast and enjoy the sunlight in Liyue Harbor!” Childe clicks his tongue. He got up from the bed, threw the blanket off your head, and lifted you up in his arms. You groaned and lightly slapped his shoulder as he carried you out of the bedroom.
Childe gently puts you down on the chair and grabs a fork and spoon to feed you. You stared at him, unamused as he poked your lips with the spoon. “Eat!” Childe says, probing your lip with the spoon full of scrambled eggs. You huffed and opened your mouth, letting Childe feed you scrambled eggs.
You chewed the scrambled eggs and swallowed it before speaking up, “You know I can feed myself, right? I did have a broken arm, but I have another functioning arm.” You said, waving your uninjured arm around. You hear Zhongli chuckle from the kitchen as he prepares to make some tea to drink.
Childe grins cheekily, “I know that! But I know how stubborn you are when you’re sleepy, so I’ll be feeding you until you finish everything on this plate!” Childe says as you roll your eyes.
Sighing in defeat, you nod your head. “Alright, if it makes you happy.” You said reluctantly. Childe grins in victory before continuing to feed you breakfast.
Soon enough, you found yourself sprawled out on the couch with a full stomach. Childe fed you so much food that you felt like you were going to burst. Childe rubs your head affectionately and sits down above your head, lifting your head to make you rest your head on his lap. “Now, what do you think about taking a stroll in Liyue Harbor?” Childe queried; you groaned and covered your face with your hands. “How about later after my nap?” You ask.
“What about your night terrors?” Childe asks; you deflate at the mention of your night terrors. “Or nightmares, whichever is the correct one,” Childe adds, stroking his chin with his thumb and index finger. Right. The only thing that was preventing you from getting any proper sleep was your night terrors and nightmares. Quite frankly, you’re having both. One night, you’d wake up screaming and crying from the nightmare. Other nights, you’d wake up to Zhongli shaking you to wake up while you were still dazed from your slumber, not knowing why he woke you up.
You sighed in defeat and sat up on the couch, “Yeah, let’s go for a walk in Liyue Harbor instead.” You gave Childe and Zhongli a weak smile. “Even though I feel like a zombie.” You muttered, stretching your arms in the air with a yawn.
You’d expect to be out on a walk for around two hours, but it ended earlier than you expected. Mainly because you have an appointment with Baizhu, and Childe completely forgot about it (so did you), and Zhongli had to remind the two of you about the check-up. Long story short, the check-up went well! Baizhu says that you’re healing perfectly fine, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, and he even put numbing cream on your eyelid because you complained to him that the scar on your eyelid was hurting. After that, Baizhu prescribes you some pain medication before sending you off on your merry way, with Zhongli and Childe following behind you.
“I wish I could ask for some sleep medication, but it won’t stop the nightmares.” You sighed, crossing your arms over your chest. “I would kill for some sleep right now.” You rubbed your eye tiredly.
“Hey, I could kill something too!” Childe shrugs his shoulder with a smirk. You glared at Childe and gently elbowed him with a frown on your face. You already knew what Childe was implying by the look on his face, and apparently, so did Zhongli.
Zhongli shook his head with a sigh, “I am hoping that you are talking about your business for the Fatui.” He crosses his arms over his chest. Childe looks away from Zhongli’s scrutinizing gaze with a whistle; he sways to the side slightly, feigning innocence.
Before Childe could say anything, the three of you heard someone calling Zhongli from afar. Zhongli and Childe turn around, only to see Aether, Paimon, and Lumine approaching the three of you. Your heart drops to your chest as you look away from the approaching trio, feeling your heart thump against your chest. Xiao wasn’t with them, right? It’s not like you don’t want to see him at all; it’s just that you didn’t want him to see you in this condition even though he has seen you in the worst state possible.
“Hey, [Y/N]! Glad to see you out of Doctor Baizhu’s care!” Aether chirps, approaching you with Paimon following behind. You gave Aether a fake smile and waved at them as they got closer to you. “How are you feeling?” Aether asks softly.
“O-Oh, I’m feeling okay! Definitely better than before, that’s for sure.” You said, subconsciously rubbing your arm as you avoided eye contact with him. “I actually just got out of my check-up with Doctor Baizhu.” You said, looking over at Bubu Pharmacy.
Paimon sighs in relief, “That’s good to hear! We have been worried about you! Especially Xiao!” Paimon exclaims; you look at Paimon in shock. You hear Childe scoff loudly with an eye-roll at the sound of Xiao’s name.
“You look exhausted,” Lumine commented, approaching you, Aether, and Paimon. You couldn’t help but tense at the sight of Lumine. The last time you heard of Lumine, Childe was telling you about how cozy your boyfriend and Lumine were with one another when he saw them. Lumine, the girl that your boyfriend has been showing affection to. Lumine, the girl that Xiao is willing to help out in a heartbeat if she were to ask for his assistance. Lumine, the girl that Xiao wouldn’t hesitate to be at her side if she were to call for him. You’ll never be like Lumine. You’re not strong like Lumine or pretty like Lumine. Your heart drops to the pit of your stomach.
“Lumine! That’s rude!” Aether hissed, lightly hitting her arms with a glare. Lumine ignores Aether’s scolding and continues to eye you from head to toe, sizing you. You couldn’t help but feel insecure under her gaze. You knew she didn’t like you because you were with Xiao, and she’s not.
She tilts her head to the side, “I’m glad to see you all better! You made Xiao very worried!” Her bottom lip juts out slightly. You couldn’t help but feel like she was subtly mocking you with the way she expressed her concerns. “I wanted to know why you wanted another man to care for you instead of your boyfriend.” Lumine crosses her arms over her chest. Her eyebrows narrow as she keeps her gaze on you.
You cleared your throat, “Zhongli offered to care for me while my injuries healed. I have weekly check-ups with Doctor Baizhu, and both Zhongli and Childe think that it’s best for me to remain in the city.” You explained, feeling beads of sweat form on the back of your neck. “While I did want to return to Wangshu Inn, Childe and Zhongli say that it’s too dangerous for me to head back to the Inn on my own.” You add.
Lumine giggles softly, “Aw! That’s so sweet of them! But you are a vision holder, aren’t you? How could you, a vision holder, be so weak?” Lumine asks; you frowned deeply at her rhetorical question.
“That’s enough, Lumine!” Aether scowls, pulling her back by her arms. Your shoulders slump down, insecurity and doubt start to gnaw at you. Lumine rolls her eyes and pulls her arms away from Aether’s grasp with a huff of breath.
“Don’t listen to Lumine, [Y/N]! You just received your vision not too long ago! You’re still new to this!” Paimon panics as she catches the sight of forming tears in your eyes.
Zhongli wraps his arms around you and starts pulling you away from Paimon and the twins. “I believe that’s enough. Aether, Paimon, Lumine, good day.” Zhongli says, giving the trio a stiff nod before guiding you away from them. Before you can walk passed the group, Lumine grabs you by the injured arm and whispers into your ears.
“Even though he is your boyfriend, he will be mine at the end of the day whether you like it or not.” Lumine hissed. You yanked your arms out of her grasp before walking off with Zhongli and Childe in tow. You were upset that Childe and Zhongli didn’t say anything when Lumine was saying such things to make you feel doubtful about your relationship with Xiao and your overall skill as a vision holder.
Other than dating Xiao, you didn’t know what caused Lumine to harbor such hate towards you. You hardly interact with the blonde girl and her brother. Quite frankly, you find it pathetic if her only valid reason to hate you was because of your relationship with Xiao. It was pretty embarrassing, really. Now that Lumine has claimed that she and Xiao would be with one another at the end of the day, it makes you even warier at the thought of Xiao and Lumine being alone with one another. What is she up to, and what stunt is she willing to pull to have Xiao all to herself?
“You know, the option still stands,” Childe speaks up, breaking the silence. You turn to Childe, looking at him in confusion. “I can kill someone or maybe even two people if you’d like for me to do so,” Childe suggests.
You shook your head, “Childe, don’t do it. It’s not worth the time or effort.” You whispered, swallowing the lump in your throat as you tried to keep your tears from falling. Which you clearly failed, tears slowly glide down your cheeks. You looked away from Childe and Zhongli, wiping your tears away shakily. “Maybe it’s best for me to end my relationship with Xiao. After all, they do want each other, and Xiao seems to care about Lumine more than he ever cared about me.” You whisper as tears continue to roll down your cheeks endlessly.
Zhongli wipes your tears away and pulls you into his arms, whispering comforting words into your ears as Childe was in the background, debating if he should go against your words and kill someone or listen to your wishes. Seeing how upset you are, Childe sighs in defeat and chooses to listen to your desires instead, even though his hands are itching to shed some blood.
The next few days were rough on you. Not only were you constantly terrorized by your nightmares and night terrors, but the words that Lumine has said to you continuously echoed in your head. You couldn’t get the image of Xiao and Lumine holding hands and being lovey-dovey with one another out of your head. Childe and Zhongli tried their best to get your mind off of it, while it did work for a little bit, these thoughts would return to you at night.
These thoughts kept terrorizing you. You hardly ate, barely slept, and did not want to get out of bed. All you wanted to do was to sleep all day and get some peace for once. Zhongli was not happy, and neither was Childe. Instead of taking his anger out on Lumine and Xiao, Childe took his anger out on those who failed to pay their debts to the Fatui. Zhongli remained by your side, refusing to leave until you ate something, and he made sure that you didn’t skip out on any showers because he knew how much you loved your showers. It was a way for you to relieve your stress and take your mind off of things for thirty minutes.
You were laying in bed, blanket up to your chin, tears staining the pillow beneath you. Zhongli was lying right beside you, gently stroking the side of your head. Occasionally, he would wipe the tears away if they were to make their way down your flushed cheeks. He gently pulls you into his arms; you immediately wrap your arms around his waist and press your face up against his chest.
“It’s okay to cry, don’t bottle it all up,” Zhongli murmurs, pressing his lips on your forehead. He stroked the back of your head gently and closed his eyes, wrapping the blanket around you tighter. Your bottom lips trembled, your face pinched up before being buried against his chest. You clutched onto his shirt tightly, afraid of letting go. You didn’t want to cry anymore; you’re tired of crying over your nightmares, Xiao and Lumine being together, and you being left in the dust.
You sniffed, hugging Zhongli’s waist tighter. “I don’t want to cry anymore, it makes me feel really tired, and I can’t get any sleep because nightmares are constantly terrorizing me.” You whined, clumsily sitting up on the bed while wiping your tears away. You turned towards Zhongli as he sat up on the bed, pulling you into his arms. Your head was tucked underneath his chin as your arms snaked around his slim torso, resting against his muscular chest. “Zhongli?” You whisper softly.
“Yes, [Y/N]?” Zhongli murmurs; you look up at Zhongli as he gazes down at you, wiping a stray tear away from your jaw.
You let you a shaky breath, “Can you help me forget all of the bad things?” Zhongli looks at you quizzically, not understanding what you were requesting for him to do.
“And how do I make you forget all of the bad things?” Zhongli whispers, brushing your hair away from your face.
What Zhongli expected was for you to mention a short get-away vacation to Mondstadt or to Qingce Village. What Zhongli did not expect you to say was, “Give me amnesia.” Zhongli stared at you in shock while you were staring at him expectantly.
Zhongli shakes his head rapidly, “No. There is no way I am going to give you amnesia.” Zhongli replies; you pouted at his immediate rejection.
“Why not!?” You whine; Zhongli sighs in response.
“I do not wish to harm a hair on your head, [Y/N],” Zhongli says, gently pressing his thumb on your bottom lip with a small chuckle. “I do not plan on harming you either. Whether you like it or not.” Zhongli adds, biting back a smile when you stare at him owlishly.
“So that’s a no?” You ask; Zhongli laughs and nods his head.
“Indeed, that is a no,” Zhongli says; you groaned and plopped back on the bed with a dramatic pout on your face. Zhongli stared at you in amusement as you grumbled under your breath, pulling the blanket up to your chin with a huff.
Zhongli lies beside you, “Do you want to know why I said no?” You looked over at him and nodded your head in response. “Amnesia is where you lose almost all of your memories. The good and the bad memories. Plus, I don’t want you to forget about me.” Zhongli says, gently combing his fingers through your hair.
“I’ll never forget about you, Zhongli.” You whisper, gently caressing his face in your hand with a tiny smile on your face. “Never in a million years.” You added, scooting closer to Zhongli and wrapping your arms around his waist.
Finally, for once, you have fallen asleep in Zhongli’s arms. You did not have any nightmare or night terror for the first time that night. Not a single whimper, cry, or scream came from you. You peacefully slept throughout the entire night in Zhongli’s arms, safe and sound.
Xiao was getting tired of Lumine following him around like a lost puppy, leaving lingering touches and giving him a lovestruck stare. As much as Xiao liked Lumine, he was getting tired of having her call for him and ask for his assistance. Yes, Xiao didn’t mind helping Lumine and Aether out with their commissions, but it has gotten to the point where Lumine would call him whenever she’s feeling bored or lonely. Xiao did not have the time for silly games; he was responsible for protecting Liyue from danger. With Lumine constantly calling out his name, it was getting in the way of his job.
Sighing in frustration, Xiao turns towards Lumine with a glare. “Lumine, I do not have the time for your silly games right now.” He crosses his arms over his chest. Lumine pouts and mimics his action by crossing her arms over her chest as well.
“Well, you’ve been so busy that I didn’t get to see you at all this week!” Lumine says, giving Xiao the puppy dog eyes. “Is it bad for me to want to see you?” Lumine asks, leaning close to Xiao. Xiao backs up and raises an eyebrow at Lumine.
Aether sighs and runs his hands through his blond hair, shaking his head in disbelief. “Lumine, leave Xiao alone! Clearly, Xiao is not interested in you! Can’t you take a hint? You’re like those annoying dendro slimes.” Aether grumbles, ignoring the glare that Lumine shot in his direction.
“Stay out of it, Aether!” Lumine scowls, her hands clenched into a fist. Oh, how Lumine is so tempted to hit her brother in front of the adepti. But she held herself back from doing so, only because she didn’t want to look bad in front of Xiao.
Lumine grabs Xiao by the wrist and pulls him up towards the balcony where he usually stands, leaving Aether and Paimon behind. Lumine leans against the wooden railing and lets out a wistful sigh; Xiao stands five feet away from Lumine with his arms over his chest. Xiao was not in the mood to deal with whatever Lumine was trying to do, so Xiao turned around and started leaving, but Lumine caught him by the wrist.
“Please don’t leave, Xiao!” Lumine begs, moving to stand in front of him with a frown on her face. Xiao closed his eyes and exhaled slowly; he could feel his patience wear thin as he slowly opened his eyes and stared at Lumine.
Rolling his eyes, he pulls his arm out of Lumine’s grasp. “I do not have the time for whatever you dragged me here for. I have important duties to attend to; I don’t have all day.” Xiao states.
“I like you!” Lumine blurts out, Xiao’s eyes widen slightly at Lumine’s sudden confession. “I like you so much, Xiao! I’ve had feelings for you ever since you saved Aether and me from falling from the Jade Chamber!” She walks towards Xiao; Xiao starts to walk backward as Lumine continues to walk towards him. “I was going to confess to you, but then I found out that you had a girlfriend.” Lumine frowns, feeling her heart drop to her chest.
Lumine now has Xiao cornered against the wall of Wangshu Inn, her hands caging him against the wall. Xiao did not show any emotions on his face, much to Lumine’s disappointment. “Why would you stay with someone like her? You don’t even care about her!” Lumine demands, glaring at Xiao. “I am more capable than [Y/N]! She doesn’t even know how to use her vision! She’s weak and pathetic!” The words dripped with venom as she clenched her fist tightly.
Xiao pushes Lumine away from him and sends a glare her way, “Don’t you dare speak about [Y/N] that way!” Xiao growls. Before Lumine could say anything, Xiao disappears in a puff of smoke.
Lumine collapsed to the ground, hitting her fist on the wooden floor, and growls in frustration and anger. Tears stung her eyes as she looked up, her chest heaving with every breath she took. “If I can’t have you, then no one can.” Lumine spat, getting up from the floor before stomping down the stairs of Wangshu Inn, ignoring the looks she was receiving from the visitors.
“It’s nice to see Wangshu Inn again. It’s been a while since I’ve been here.” Lumine glances over towards the direction where the voice came from. You and Zhongli walked side-by-side, admiring the sky, content with each other’s presence. Lumine clenches her jaws, and her sword immediately appears in her hands as she slowly makes her way towards your direction.
“Do you wish you stay at Wangshu Inn?” Zhongli asks, looking down at you curiously. You shrugged your shoulders in response.
“Even though I miss Wangshu Inn, I prefer to stay with you. I feel safe whenever I’m near you.” You gave him a shy smile, feeling your cheeks heating up. Zhongli smiles, feeling the apples of his cheeks grow warm at your response. Right when Zhongli opened his mouth to say something, the two of you heard rapid footsteps approaching you two. You looked up and saw Lumine charging towards you with her sword pointed at you, the sun reflecting off the blade. You gasped when Zhongli quickly yanks you into his arms, immediately putting up a shield around you. Lumine growls and tries to cut through Zhongli’s shield. You stared at Lumine in horror as she continued to attack the shield with her sword.
“Lumine! What is the meaning of this!?” Zhongli hollers, glaring at the blonde girl in front of you. She ignores Zhongli and continues hitting her fist against the shield; she raises the sword up in the air and tries to stab it repeatedly. It was evident that she was aiming for you and not Zhongli. After all, she is holding a grudge against you for being in a relationship with Xiao. Were you and Xiao even a couple at this point? Quite honestly, you weren’t so sure anymore.
“I’m going to kill you! He’s mine! He’s not yours anymore! Stay away from him!” Lumine screeches, punching and clawing the shield around you and Zhongli. Aether rushes to the scene and tackles Lumine down to the ground, pinning her to the dirt ground while yelling at Lumine.
“Xiao!” Aether screams; you press yourself close to Zhongli, trembling in fear. Xiao appears in front of Aether, looking at Aether, annoyed with his arms crossed over his chest.
“What is it? I do not have time for your petty games.” Xiao says, rolling his eyes. Lumine thrashes underneath Aether’s legs, growling with anger.
“My sister tried to kill [Y/N]!” Aether grunts, grabbing onto Lumine’s arms tightly to prevent her from escaping his hold. Xiao glares at Lumine and looks behind him, only to see you shaking in Zhongli’s arms. Xiao sighs in relief when he sees that you are safe and okay and shielded from Lumine’s attack.
“How pitiful.” Xiao spits, his polearm appearing out of thin air.
Aether and Lumine were thrashing around one another. Lumine tried to escape from Aether’s hold while Aether tried his best to restrain Lumine. Xiao walked away from Aether and Lumine and approached you and Zhongli. Zhongli’s shield disappears; you let out a shaky breath and look at Lumine cautiously.
“[Y/N], are you okay? You didn’t get hurt, did you?” Xiao asks, eyes scanning your body for any injuries that might have occurred.
“I’m okay, Xiao.” You whispered, giving him a weak smile. Xiao sighs in relief and gives you a faint smile, lightly ruffling your hair. You laughed softly and grabbed his hands gently. Xiao interlocks his fingers with yours as Zhongli drapes his arms around your shoulders with a small chuckle. You opened your mouth to say something, only to be cut off by the sound of Lumine screaming in frustration. You look up to see Lumine’s sword flying towards your face. The blade narrowly missed your face by a few centimeters, slicing your cheek. You gasped when you felt the sharp blade cut your cheek, blood pouring from the wound as the sword clattered loudly on the ground behind you.
“Oh, you fucked up big time, Lumine.” Aether whispers.
Xiao appears in front of the twins in a wisp of smoke, the blade of his polearm pointed at Lumine’s face. Zhongli’s amber eyes were glowing as he held you close to his chest, his left hand pressing your head against his chest.
“Never put your hands on [Y/N].” Xiao glowers, his hands clenched around the polearm so tightly that his knuckles turned white. “If you want to suffer the consequences, be our guest.”
Note: I'm just going to end it here because I don't plan on having Zhongli or Xiao hurt Lumine for attempting to kill the reader. I had multiple ending ideas for this, but I chose this one because it's less painful. And I want Xiao to feel some kind of small happiness, even though he's the reason why the reader is in that condition. Anyway, I ONLY post on my Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and my AO3 (Aaliah_exo)! Nowhere else except Tumblr and AO3!

Uhh so yk the fatui pyroslinger? yeah sooo i might have an intsy little tiny miniscule crush on him.. ok fine i adore him. Anyways, could i req him x reader or some headcanons of him pls? if not then feel free to ignore :D
- 👀 anon
AHH THATS HIS TITLE?!?1 I’m stupid I just call him fatui pyro boi
👀 Anon you are here to save the fatui pyroslinger simps <3 who doesn’t love him… like I know we can’t see his face but 😗
request are always open!
Before anything, I hc that every (or at least most) pyro character/npc are just big on morning/night kisses
That said- morning/night kisses are a must before work and after work.
He won’t MOVE until you leave a kiss on his lips or in his cheeks (or any part of his face) before he puts his mask on
Is it even a mask???
He is rather in the warmer side so that means personal heating services
Big spoon- if you like to be the big spoon just letting you know he LOVES it
Like I said fatui don’t know anything about love(hc) and if they are in the receiving end instead of them giving. Believe me they would probably cry at night not knowing how they got such a lovely s/o
Grateful for you.
You trust him enough to sleep with him, to kiss him, to touch him- to do all this stuff, you don’t even hesitate.
You don’t care about his position or how dangerous he is.
He loves you so much for this.
Heavy gun=heavy heart <3
About that gun…
He would love to show you how to handle it- even more with the looks you give him.
Maybe not shoot it (for obvious reason) but hold it properly!
He gives me Perfecta by Miranda!
He doesn’t believe in love at first sight
But after meeting you, everything change…
Maybe it wasn’t that bad after all.
He is probably one of the only fatui members that wouldn’t mind your affection outside the house.
If his teammates see him? He doesn’t care, he would probably flex that he has a s/o
Has a big laugh for someone of his size.
He would probably scare you by just randomly laughing at something…
If you want more just ask!! Hope you like it <33
Request are always open!!

“Meant To Be Yours” | Diluc x GN! Reader (Angst)

Diluc x Gender Neutral! Reader
SFW, Angst w/ Slight Comfort
TW: Threatening, Emotional Abuse, Suicide, Cussing, Accusation of Cheating
Note: This is heavily referenced from “Meant To Be Yours” from Heather: The Musical
WC: 1.8K
You spent the day with the Cavalry Captain as ordered by the Acting Grand Master Jean. You roamed Mondstadt with him due to the rumored threats of Fatui attacking the town. Jean couldn't risk the townspeople to be hurt so she ordered everyone to be alert and scattered the knights in pairs around Mondstadt.
"How's my brother?" Kaeya asked, stretching his arms upward.
“He’s fine, “ you said.
“Well he is, but how about you? I heard from a little bird that he was hesitant to let you accompany me,” he snickered.
“He’s just being protective,” you explained.
“You’re literally the chief strategist of the Knights of Favonious, he should know that you’re capable of protecting yourself plus I’m here,” he said, both of you getting deeper into Wolvendom.
“Uhm,” was all that you could say.
“Bit by bit, he’s being obsessed over you. The maids sent me a word that your arguments are getting more heated lately,” he said, stopping in his tracks. “Did you hear that?” He looked around.
“There’s no point in escaping!” the Electro Fatui Skirmisher shouted, approaching the both of you at a fast pace.
You dodged it’s attack to the side and ran towards the Fatui Pyroslinger following it as Kaeya handled the bigger one.
“Cool it,” Kaeya said, hitting the electro skirmisher in it’s critical point.
You kicked the pyroslinger’s gun causing it to drop and pulled out your whip made out of water. You wrapped the whip around the enemy’s body, restraining it. This is one of the moments you were thankful for your Hydro vision.  You successfully restrained the enemy and ran to help Kaeya, leaving the enemy on the floor. As soon as Kaeya was going to stab the skirmisher, it turned to you and raised it’s hammer. Kaeya pushed you to the side, allowing the both of you to roll far from the enemy and he ended up on top of you. You peeked behind him and whipped the skirmisher’s head, snapping its neck leaving it dead on the floor.
“What in celestia is happening, getting all touchy in a secluded area I see?” you heard Diluc say from behind.
Kaeya realized the position you were both in and stood to help you up.
“We were literally in a fight just now, dahell are you saying we’re getting touchy?” Kaeya exclaimed, pointing at the unconscious pyroslinger on the ground.
“Liars.” Diluc snickered. “Let’s talk at home y\n,” he said before walking away from the both of you.
“He’s being an asshole, are you sure you’ll be safe when you get home?” Kaeya asked.
“I will be. Let's turn in these two first, is this one dead?” you asked.
Kaeya walked up to the skirmisher and checked it’s pulse, “It’s weak but he can survive, let’s go.”
Your shift ended at nearly 11 PM. You slowly opened the doors of the Dawn Winery and stood beside a pillar observing your boyfriend, much to your surprise he was drinking. Diluc was drinking, it's unusual. Heck he even hates the taste of alcohol, now he has the taste lingering in his mouth. You never saw him in such a messy state.
"What are you staring at?" Diluc hissed.
"Uh, nothing. You must be busy drinking, maybe it's better if I sleep in my house tonight," you explained, slowly turning your body to get your things in your shared room.
You felt shivers down your spine as his eyes were still glued to your figure. You heard the chair move, you peeked to see him fixing his gloves, slowly walking towards you. His face wasn't as calm as usual, his eyes seemed darker. He keeps mumbling about something but you can't make up what he's saying. You stood there, waiting for him to say something as he stopped in front of you.
He tilted your chin upwards, as he pinned both of your hands above your head on the pillar. He was reeking of alcohol.
'This is bad,' you thought. "Uhm, Diluc?" you softly asked.
"You're leaving me?" He said, staring deep into your eyes.
"Just for the night, I assumed you need space," you explained.
He let go of your hands and slammed his fist on the pillar.
"What do you mean, are you not happy with me? Or do you want to run off with my reckless so-called-brother?" he raised his voice.
His actions surprised you, your heart was beating faster than ever. You froze, not knowing what to do. You never saw him drunk or even if you did you wouldn't know how to act in this situation. He tightened his grip on your chin, forcing you to look back up at him.
"Answer me!" he shouted.
"No! What the hell are you even thinking? I just thought you needed space, let me go!" You said, struggling under him.
He was bigger and taller than you, you couldn't just push him off. You inhaled and did the unthinkable. You kicked his crotch, making him kneel and moan in pain. You run upstairs to the guest room as fast as you can. When you got inside, you immediately locked the door and moved the wide nightstand to block the door. Minutes later you heard loud banging on the door, you fell on the floor covering your ears.
"YOU WERE MEANT TO BE MINE, I AM ALL THAT YOU NEED!" he shouted.
There was a few minutes of silence, allowing you to catch your breath.
"Y/N, open the door please." Diluc softly said, as the banging died down. "Y/N! OPEN THE DOOR." he demanded, aggressively twisting the locked door knob.
"N-no, I don't want to..." you sobbed, hints of fear can be heard from your trembling voice.
There was once again silence, it was getting suspicious.
"Y/N, can we not fight anymore please? Sure, you're scared. I've been there." Diluc said, attempting to manipulate your mind into opening the door. "Y/N! Don't make me come in there, I'm going to count to three!!" He said asserting dominance. "One, two, screw it!" he shouted, lifting his claymore and stabbing it straight to the mahogany door.
Diluc hit the door repeatedly, until there was a hole where he could reach the doorknob. You stood up, shaking in fear as you looked all around. Looking for an escape, alas the only escape was the window. You were on the second floor of the manor but you didn't have a choice. You were running out of time, you heard the doorknob unlock. You opened the window and raised your leg on the window pane. You looked back at your now manic boyfriend, taking one last glance. He already pushed the nightstand aside but before he could run and stop you. You already took the leap of fate, you didn't care what lies for you in the future.
Diluc stood there by the window, flabbergasted. As soon as what happened sinked in, he went down and straight outside. Picking up your fragile body. Minimal breathing could be observed from you, until it stopped. Tears started streaming down his face, hugging your now lifeless body. He didn't care if your blood would stain his coat, he didn't care if it was freezing outside.
'I lost another.' Diluc thought.
The sight of you jumping and hitting your head first replayed in his mind. He frantically grabbed his hair, rocking your body rock and forth.
"No, y/n. Please don't leave me alone," Diluc whispered, not letting go of your body, giving you one last kiss on your forehead.
Elzer waited until things died down and approached the both of you. Diluc looked up to him with empty eyes and gestured to take your body. As soon as Elzer carried your body, Diluc went inside and slammed the front door. Elzer was trying to shake you awake as soon as he saw your chest rise and fall in a slow pace. He brought you to Deaconess Barbara that night. The fear from Barbara’s eyes were visible as she asked,
“Master.. Diluc, was the reason they jumped?”
Elzer couldn’t speak and gave her a nod. Your body was suffering as you were laid on the bed to rest. The door opened to see a panicking Jean with Kaeya following her back.
“What happened?” Jean gasped, slowly touching your arm.
Dried blood was visible by your forehead. Kaeya picked up the wet towel that Elzer prepared and cleaned your face.
“I’ll talk to him,” Kaeya blurted out, making Jean turn her head. “Y/n’s breathing is normal now thanks to Barbara, they’ll live.”
“What if you two fight then?” Jean asked.
“I can manage,” Kaeya said as he left the room, leaving everyone speechless.
Barbara continued tending to your wounded body, while Jean sat down frustrated.
“Elzer please rest, there’s still an extra room here at the headquarters. You can go,” Jean said.
“Thank you Acting Grand Master,” Elzer said before he left.
Kaeya arrived at the familiar manor. He didn’t waste any time and busted the door open, receiving a shocked look from Diluc.
“What the hell?! You told me you’ll protect and cherish them? I let you get over to them first since they liked you back. I WASTED MY CHANCES WITH THEM FOR YOU AND THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO?” Kaeya shouted, throwing a punch to his dumbfounded brother.
Diluc didn’t fight back, he was on the floor, not moving an inch.
“What if they died?” Kaeya asked, running his hand through his hair.
“I know I’m… stupid,” Diluc sighed.
“As if it’s not obvious! This won’t be forgiven with your apology and sweet talk. We’re talking about y/n’s life!” Kaeya exclaimed.
“I know. Just leave me alone for now,” Diluc said.
“Hell yeah I will. Suffer from the consequences of your own actions,” Kaeya said before leaving the manor.
Weeks passed, you were back on your feet with a cast on your left arm. Barbara told you that it was a miracle that you survived since the impact was mostly on your head. No one has heard from Diluc these past few weeks and you don’t want to hear from him either, you are at peace. Elzer retrieved your things from the manor and moved it to the headquarters where you got your own room. You weren’t allowed to go out alone since Jean feared that Diluc might chase after you. This lead to her decision to let you stay in Liyue for awhile until you’re fully healed and work with Ningguang.
This was the day you were temporarily leaving Mondstadt. You were standing by the bridge with Albedo and Kaeya holding your things.
“We’ll see you in a bit y/n,” Jean said as she leaned in for a small hugt.
“Thank you for taking care of me Jean, Lisa, Noelle, and Barbara,” you said, looking at the women in front of you “I’ll repay you one day”
“No need, we deeply care about you and getting better will be your payment,” Barbara cheered.
“It’s time. We must stick to the schedule  so that we can arrive before dawn,” Albedo stated.
You bid your goodbyes one more time and proceeded to walk away from Mondstadt. You thought of the new opportunities waiting for you in Liyue and this time you’ll be prioritising yourself.

prompt: you get into an argument with kaeya, and decide to go on a walk to cool off a bit. you see someone in the distance but don’t have your weapon on you, so you call for him, but he purposely ignores you because he’s still upset over the argument.
word count: i think 978 im not sure
a/n: ive never written anything in my life so im sorry if this is absolute dog 😭 not beta read and this was HEAVILY inspired by @/evelxtus ‘ post!! please go read it it’s very good!!!
https://evelxtus.tumblr.com/post/669234957135249408/okay-okay-so-basically-characters-venti-xiao
you weren’t too far from your shared home when during your walk you see what seems to be someone approaching you. better safe than sorry, you reach for your weapon only to realize you had left it at home, too angry to realize that you had forgotten it by the door, specifically where you had put it in case of emergencies.
“shit” you mumble to yourself. since it was nighttime, you couldn’t make out who it was that was approaching you, except for a faint red glow and the sound of heavy boots clanking your way. “kaeya!” you yell, but no response.
after everything that was said, you seriously think he was going to respond to your call? absolutely not. he was mad, and thought that the best way to show you that he was mad was by deliberately ignoring you. “kaeya, i know you’re upset but please!!” he heard once more, and although he was still choosing to ignore you, he couldn’t help but feel an uneasiness forming deep in the pit of his stomach, and decided to stay alert just in case it truly was something dangerous.
the figure finally had gotten close enough for you to distinguish who or what it was. in this case, it was a pyroslinger fatui, who was starting to fire up his gun, which was aimed straight for you. “kaeya, i know you’re upset but please!!” you shouted, but still no response. no sound of his footsteps running towards you or his sword unsheathing to protect you. it was absolutely silent, except for your labored breaths and the sound of the pyroslingers’ gun loading up. you realized that kaeya wasn’t going to come, so you decided to make a run for it back to your house. you weren’t going to just stand there helplessly and let this fatui agent shoot you. oh how you should’ve started running sooner. right when you were near your house you feel 5 searing hot bullets on your back, and immediately scream before falling over in extreme pain.
kaeya heard you scream, and that’s when he immediately grabbed his sword before running out to where you were. “Y/N!!” he finally spots you, bleeding out on the ground from what appears to 5 wounds on your back which were extremely hot to the touch. “nonono y/n! stay awake for me my dear, please!!” he was desperate at this point, he knew he should have come the second time you called him, when he felt that horrible dread gnawing at his chest. he looked around to see who had done this to you (to make them pay tenfold) but it seemed that your attacker had already long fled the scene. your vision was filled with black spots, but you could still seem to make out your lovers’ distressed face. before you could manage tell him anything, you fell unconscious from your injuries.
he immediately ran from your home to mondstadt as fast as his legs could possibly take him, until he finally arrived at the cathedral. “barbara!!! anyone please, help!!” he shouted, and not much later barbara and 4 other nuns quickly came running to your aid.
a day or two later, you woke up to the bright sunlight coming in from all the cathedral windows directly onto your face. the first thing you notice is your entire torso is bandaged, and your lover fast asleep in a chair next to you, with dark circles under his eyes and tear stained cheeks, but still holding your hand.
“kaeya, dear, wake up” you say to him, choosing to wake him up so he can stop sleeping in that awkward position which will probably leave him with a sore neck for the next few days. he immediately snaps awake at the sound of your voice, and when he sees how fondly you’re looking at him, his eyes tear up once more. “y/n, my dear, i’m so so sorry. i shouldn’t have ignored your calls for me, and i shouldn’t have let you walk out that night, either. i know we were both upset at each other but i should have talked it out with you instead of letting you walk away. i’m so sorry, my love. i acted like a child and payed the price by nearly losing you” at this point he couldn’t contain his tears anymore. you were the most important person in his life, the only one who truly cared about him and loved him for who he was, and asked for nothing in return. if he had lost you that night due to his childish behaviour, he would have never forgiven himself.
“..it’s alright, dear. the both of us were upset that night. i said things to you that were hurtful, and i’m sorry. we never would have expected something like this to happen, though. i know you never had any ill intentions.” you said to him, holding his hands in your own to reassure, as if silently telling him that it wasn’t his fault, and that he shouldn’t blame himself.
he leaned his forehead on yours. “what did i ever do to deserve someone as incredible as you..” he whispered, before leaving a soft kiss on your lips. you scooched over and patted the space next to you on the bed. “come, lie down with me. you must be tired after being restless for days.” he immediately lied down with you and brought you close to him so you can cuddle, being careful with your wounds.
“..i love you, kae.”
“i love you too, my dear.”
and just like that, you both fell asleep and left all those past worries behind you.
