Hello there!! Can I request some headcanons / mini-scenarios for: Dan Heng, March, Welt, Himeko, Yanqing and Jing Yuan; with a normally soft-spoken Reader who has a wide vocal range (from contralto to hitting those high notes) and occasionally does song covers? Doesn't matter the genre, so long as Reader likes it.

So they might hear Reader singing something like a lullaby or a traditional Xianzhou song one day, to something that's still soft and sweet like a mainstream pop song on another day; to belting out something like "Kakusei" or "NEXUS" from the Promare OST. :D

★ A/N: I understood the request, I just hope I wrote it in a way you wanted! People with such a large vocal range are so talented istg, they gotta teach me. (I say as if I have ANY confidence to sing anyways)

When you sing more soft songs, Dan Heng tends to enjoy listening. It helps him feel more relax and sometimes rids his mind of nightmares.

He's more used to hearing that kind of voice from you. So when one day, he walks in on you singing a song that's the exact opposite of how you usually sing, he's a bit surprised.

He never doubted you could have a big vocal range, however hearing you sing a song that's different to how he normally hears you sing is what surprised him.

He still enjoys listening, but more so when you sing in a softer voice, don't get him wrong. He still enjoys your singing voice and will support you. But he isn't one for a more loud song.

"[Name]...if you're going to sing more...on the loud side, could I request you do it else where?" Dan Heng sighs softly, being awoken up once again due to you. Despite his words hinting at annoyance, his facial expression was soft and kind. A soft sorry came from your voice as you quickly turned off the music you were using, switching to a more softer song. An old Xianzhou lullaby. "Here, I'll make it up to you. Sit on the couch and I'll sing a softer song" You smiled, Dan Heng chuckled as he obliged. He can't deny that your more softer voice doesn't help him fall asleep. He silently hums along to your voice, and in a sleepy voice he speaks to you before drifting to bed. "If you enjoy music like that so much, we can pay a visit to Serval okay?"

March 7th LOVES your singing voice. She would sing along to whatever song you were singing. She praises you every time she hears you and likely took photos of you singing.

She so supports you if you ever make a YouTube (StarTube?) account and posted covers, literally your number 1 fan.

When you post a cover of a song, she's always the first one to like, comment and listen!

When you post a cover of a song that's VERY different. (Let's say, Usseewa) and you hit ALL those high notes and, everything omg. She was surprised but immediately hyped you up.

She doesn't mind if you sing songs like that at all, your singing is amazing. Like I said, number 1 fan...she doesn't hid it either.

"I love you [Name]!" "Uh, the one with the blue camera and pink hair?" "OH. MY GOD. [NAME] YOU NOTICED ME, YOU NOTICED ME. I.LOVE.YOU" Serval laughed out loud seeing Marchs outburst, as if you two don't live with each other. You could only look away with a small smile, seeing March jump up and down and shaking whoever was beside her. Much to Welts "delight"

Welts very impressed with your vocal range. But he's also worried, he knows that if you were able too have a large vocal range, you likely know how to manage it.

Still, anytime he hears you singing songs like NEXUS or Kakusei he can't help but slide over a bottle of water for your throat.

If you ever join a concert with Serval then he IS buying tickets, though not everyone may go (Dan Heng) he and the rest of the Express will.

He also tends to buy any merch you may come out with if there is any. (Mainly for March but he does keep one or two for himself to support you)

He doesn't really have a preference when it comes too what songs you sing, just as long as your happy and it isn't really disturbing anyone.

If you ever start a StarTube channel, he might animate a few of your covers! Under a pen name though, he's not embarrassed, but I think he'd like it if you thought it was a different fan and not just him who's already liked your singing from the start. (If that makes sense)

"WELT! Weltweltwelt" You ran up to him, quickly showing him an animation someone did of one of your new songs. "ArahatosNumber1Fan animated one of my covers again" You said excitedly, bringing the phone screen back to your view as you scrolled through the comments. Many complimenting the animation but many also asking who sang the cover to which they were directed to your account. "This the guy that you said was helping boost your channel subs?" You nod happily, tapping your chin you thought for a bit. "Do you think they'd still animate my covers even if I sing a different genre? I want to go with something softer this time instead of a louder peice" "I'm sure they'll animate any song you wish to sing" He chuckles. And sure enough, a week after you posted a cover of Lost Umbrella, ArahatosNumber1Fan posted an animation to go along with it.

Himeko compliments you a lot for your vocal range. In fact, she got you a karaoke machine for your birthday! Of course, though. She doesn't let you use it during night time. She doesn't want to wake up because you decided to start singing Churira Churira Dadada at 3 in the morning.

I do think she prefers you to sing outside the train. While she does enjoying your singing and she has no problem if you were to sing in the train. However she also understands it may disturb many people so she does ask for you to sing in an area where you aren't disturbing anyone.

I feel like she also asks you to teach her how to sing or have a wider vocal range. She enjoys singing herself and would love to join in when you're out singing to keep you company!

Perhaps you two can make money by singing on the streets :> (Only if you're okay with it though!)

You strummed you guitar as the two of you reached the last note, Himeko took a small bow and looked up at the audience that had gathered around. All of them clapping and complimenting your voice. She laughed softly and gently packed up your things so the two of you could get going, checking to see if you were uncomfortable with the attention before she directs you back to the train. As you two entered, Himeko was quick to sit and count the amount of credits that were left in your guitar case, looking up to you she said with a smile. "A success, well done. They loved you" "It wasn't just me singing..." "Perhaps but...I'd say they have their favourites"

When Yanqing overhears you singing Xianzhou lullabys, he's quick to shower you with compliments. Your voice is so soothing! He could listen it for so long and it's effective too. You had to usher him out as he could wake the kids you just put to bed.

When he hears you singing a song like (man I'm running out of songs I know/hj) Noels Lament. He's impressed, how can you sing a song so softly and quietly and then sing something like this which needs a stronger voice??

He might skip a few of his training to find you and see what song you're singing, he makes it a guessing game! Will you be singing something so sweet and kind? Or something that might will make head turn??

"...Yanqing?" "Ha! I guessed right this time" "...Guessed...right?" Ah, you weren't meant to know the guessing game he had in his own head, quickly, he shuffled away. Scratching the back of his head. "Of where you were!" "I always walk in this area" "...I meant...what outfit you'd be wearing?" "I usually wear similar clothes?" ...Yeah, he's running off quickly, hopefully Jing Yuan won't scold him for skipping his training again right? Surely the general can understand he just has to see if his guess was right or not.

Surprisingly (or not surprisingly) Jing Yuan enjoys when you sing your heart out with songs like Candy Store or Mount Rageous. That's the type of sing he first heard you sing when he tried to find Yanqing when he skipped yet another training sessions.

Usually he would just sleep till Yanqing returned or just go on with his day if he never did. In either case, now he joins Yanqing to see what song you're singing before returning back to train.

When he hears you singing a less upbeat song like Sweet Dreams. He's slightly surprised but listens intently, it's different to what he often hears you sing but he enjoys it none the less, he sees your happy so he's fine.

He might even request to hear certain songs just to see how well you voice range can handle it. From the loudest song that could break glass, to a soothing song that can put even the mara struck to bed. And if you successfully sing them all, he congratulates you.

Overall, he's impressed as well as many others, likely talks to you and how well you sing to his friends.

You panted a bit as you finished a particularly long high note, Jing Yuan chuckles and slides over a cup of water which you accept quickly. Taking a drink to sooth your throat. "You voice really can do wonders, I'm more then impressed" He speaks, you nodded in response as he then offers a small treat for agreeing to sing a song for him. A song that made you go from high to low, soft to loud and all in all, tested how wide your voice range can be in a singular song. "I must apologies, I just wished to see how far your voice can go. I should've considered how tired your throat must be from singing that particular song" "No worries, it was fun to read and practice that song. I'm a bit surprised you know it though" "Oh? Are you now?" "Yeah...I mean...the song was released like a month ago and you're kinda a grandp-" "Alright I get it" He chuckled lightly, gently flicking your forehead.

long post ahead about triggerverse au

Triggerverse AU [alternate universe] is an AU of an AU is the best way to put it. It was a joke between a friend at first because we noticed some similarities between different shows that trigger has specifically worked on [animation quirks etc etc] and were like "lol what if theres a cinematic universe" but then we thought too hard about it.

You might've noticed the 4 main girls [Seraphine, Thyma, Ren, and Kamiko] are together. This is because, in this AU, a certain goopy guy [Xuihcoatl, who's a longtime OC of mine] comes back AGAIN after the events that happens specifically in the Years Later AU [lwa]. He ends up splicing the 4 different universes together into one in search of the lwa world and chaos ensues because that's not supposed to happen. This also gets the attention of Luluco because shes, yknow, a space cop.

tl;dr for Xuihcoatl. He's gotten many revisions over the years as he's my oldest OC to date. He's the embodiment of Death itself, seeing as he was once the God of Death a long time ago. But when his brothers felt he was too strong, they banished him to the real world. He terrorized humans until a Sorcerer with a certain rod 'killed' him. But his soul was still intact, and he vowed from then on that he'd destroy humanity, no matter how long it took. He eventually holes himself up into the lwa world and the rest is history. In triggerverse, he gathers enough magical energy to regain his old body back, so he appears as an actual dragon in this story. He's just a strong dude basically.

Triggerverse takes place like several years later after any canon story. The girls are well into their late teens [or 20 for Thyma and Ren], making any canon cast characters older adults. For newcomers;

Seraphine is the adopted daughter of Akko Kagari and Diana Cavendish. [She appears heavily in my Years Later AU, she is the Shiny Rod's next holder as well]

Thyma is the adopted daughter of Galo Thymos and Lio Fotia. [She's one of the few remaining humans to still have promare, she got the mutation when she was an infant, and her power is almost identical to what Lio once had.]

Ren is one of the Ryuko and human!Senketsu's children. [Ren has already been in an adventure type scenario, as human!Junketsu came back so life fibers could take their hold on earth again using her little brother, Kenta as a catalyst. But she ends up saving him and stopping Junketsu. I don't have any updated material to give out on this, its over 8 years old and needs to be heavily revised]

Kamiko is the daughter of Michiru Kagemori and Nazuna Hiwatashi. She is the youngest member at the age of 16 and most inexperienced.

Putting a massive cast of different characters together also just seemed fun, the interactions would be whacky and hilarious.

The whole AU is centered around stopping Xuihcoatl from causing anymore problems, but he's a very difficult enemy to face. He goes as far as to bring back human!Junketsu, steal beastmen blood, promare fire, and the Sorcerer's Stone for his own gain. It's up to the cast of the 4 different universes to work together to stop him [in usual trigger fashion] before the fate of their worlds fall into ruin due to the space paradox he caused.

For context as far as the comic you saw;

Xuihcoatl set up base on an dormant volcano, planning to reawaken it once he can grow the promare fire once more. He captured all 4 girls as well as some other characters, like Galo and Lio. He plans to use human's life essence to boost his own magical abilities, as the human soul is strong no matter what. However, seeing her family and friends in danger, Thyma overpowers herself and goes into a rage similar to what Lio was capable of a long time ago. She ultimately blows up the entire mountain using her fire, destroying Xuihcoatl's base and saving her friends and family but she almost dies from it.

Havin thoughts as I sometimes do. But like Promare’s opening is a straight up ‘people start getting superpowers and the world ends’ apocalypse. Which is just really interesting. The direct extreme worst case (second worse case) scenario for a superpower origin event. Like yeah, people randomly gaining supernatural abilities would cause some serious static and chaos and if they’re strong some serious fucking damage.

Lio groaned as he lifted himself up from the sheets into a sitting position. He wiped at his eyes to rid himself of the tiredness but his body was painfully sore and ached. Yesterday night was something for sure. His body was still extremely tired so he stayed sitting in bed for a while until he could finally bring himself to change. 

In the back of his memory he has to remember to clean the sheets after what happened last night. 

You tugged at Lio’s hair as you bit into his neck, the feeling of his body gliding across yours felt heavenly as you heard him groan into your ear. His fingers gripped at your hips as he brought himself closer into you at a rough pace, his nails were digging into your skin but the pain was numbed out by the way his hips rolled against yours. 

“Fuck. . . Did that guy have to look at you like that darling?” He huffed as he snapped his hips into you, “you wouldn’t believe how god damn pissed off I was seeing him touch you.” 

“Yeah? How mad were you then?” You nipped at his neck while he grunted. You brought him down to long kiss, “is this you having jealous sex here?” You heard him groan in annoyance as he continued to fuck you against the bed. 

Every time you would pull away from the kiss he would be constantly chasing you back into another one. Your hands trailed across his chest and drew a couple of circles on his hips, “give me an answer here, you’re the jealous baby here.” 

“So what of it?” He growled, bringing his lips back onto yours as you arched your back into his chest, your body grinding against his as his body gave you pleasurable electric shocks throughout your body. He watched as you let out small whimpers and moans each time he hit a specific spot inside of you which made your toes curl on the bedsheets. 

“You asking for my opinion here?” You snickered as you wrapped your legs around his hips and flipped your positions, your taller frame hovering over him as you felt him fill you up even deeper than before. “I’m thinking you look better under me.” Lio let out a gasp of enjoyment as he felt you sink back onto him. 

There was definitely something great about having you on top.

You breathed in ecstasy as you brought your hips up and back down against his skin, your hands steadying your body on his chest while gripped your hips to bring them as close to him as possible. It felt so good feeling Lio so deep within your body. This had to be the third round tonight and you were quickly losing track of time. 

“Shit!” He hissed as he slammed your hips back against his as he finally finished inside of you. 

He yawned as he swiped his legs off of the bed and picked up his pants from the floor. His body was dying on the inside but he didn’t regret the late night activities you and him had going on. In a couple of minutes you both had to get ready to meet up with Galo and the others for some pizza, but it seems like Lio couldn’t find his shirt at all. 

He wiped at his eyes to see if it was just his drowsiness but he couldn’t find it anywhere. He casually slips on both of his belts and tightened them around his hips as he opened the door to call out to you. However, once he finished buckling his belt you had already opened the door before he did and his eyes widened at the sight of you wearing his shirt from last night. 

There were a lot of love bites left on your neck and you didn’t even bother to try to cover it up at this point. You were wearing some black skinny pants along with his shirt, your body leaning against the doorframe that you just opened.

“We’re leaving in a bi—“ you stopped mid-sentence to gawk at Lio’s half naked body and whistled at his attractive frame, “well hello, didn’t see you there cutie~ You wanna go a round?” You teased as he responded by rolled his eyes. 

“Shut up you, we gotta go soon.” Lio pulled you down for a rough kiss by gripping the collar of his shirt that you were wearing, “nice shirt, who did you fuck to get it?” 

He sassily walked around you and into the bathroom, his lips curling into a devious smile, “we can go another round tonight darling.” 

“Oh?~ I can’t wait then.” You picked up one of his shirts from his closets and threw it into the bathroom for him to wear.

i imagine lio *relies* on his captive little darling for comfort. the poor boy has the weight of the world on his shoulders, countless *lives* at stake; he has so many expectations thrust upon him, but he's only human. his mind can be fragile, and he'll cling and sob and beg his darling to comfort him, to not leave him, to love him *because* he knows how much of a monster he's capable of being. he relies on them just as much as they rely on him. they keep him sane, he's nothing without them.

I don’t know if this is a request, but anything with Lio is always *golden*. And, for the sake of clarification, this takes place before Promare’s events, while Lio is still leading the Mad Burnish. For the tension, if nothing else.

Lio liked taking care of you. Even at the worst of times, he made it a priority to take care of you.

It was most common during his downtime, when he didn’t have anything better to do than hold you close and give you expensive scraps of lace and be so intolerably nice, whether his fondness was expressed through gifts or mumbled, sweet whispers, his sentiments often consisting of something honey-coated and rotten. It was a habit, by this point, a new hobby Lio wasn’t quite good at yet. A glove that didn’t fit, but one he tried desperately to wear casually. That was why you didn’t hate him for it. He was trying to do something kind, something considerate. Something he didn’t seem to know what wrong

That, or you just didn’t have the heart to tell him to stop. You’d tried to before, but the words always seemed to knot and fall apart when you tried to spit them out.

Even now, rain pouring down outside the shabby, abandoned shed the two of you had found shelter in, he’d insisted on being the one to start a small bonfire for light, pulling you into his side and starting to comb out your hair with his fingers as soon as Gueira and Meis had left to scavenge for supplies. He hadn’t said anything since then, either, basking in the violet glow and smiling whenever you glanced in his direction, never stopping that persistent petting. You thought about pushing his hand away, laughing and asking how he would feel if you treated him like a lap-dog, but decided against it.

It was the Post-Mission High, just the high. A bliss that came after every Burnish had a chance to unleash a wave of flames at their full potential, leaving Lio (especially Lio, it seemed) in an exhausted, affectionate mood he trusted you enough keep from hiding. He was coming down. He’d be down, soon. You just had to wait.

With a sigh, you let your head fall onto his shoulder, your knees soon pulled against your chest. You could never feel cold anymore, but it felt like you should, sometimes. Judging by the way you shivered as his nails brushed against your scalp, anyway. “Think anyone got hurt?” You asked, allowing your thoughts to trail back to the destruction. He warned you not to linger, but you couldn’t help it, not when the worried cries of civilians and sirens were still fresh in your mind. “Maybe we should choose somewhere less crowded, next time. You never know who’s going to be in a building that big.”

“The response time is slower for urban areas,” He explained, a grin a bit wider pressing into the top of your head, his fingers soon tangled in your roots. You perked up immediately, recognizing the signal. “And privately-owned houses aren’t rebuilt as quickly. Besides, you shouldn’t be worried about those things, either way. I’m the boss, right?” He paused, giving you time to nod obediently, despite the reassurance doing little to soothe your nerves. “Leave that stuff to me. But, I could take your mind off it, if you wanted me to.”

You agreed, absentmindedly, your attention still elsewhere. Lio didn’t seem to mind. His lips were on yours in the blind of an eye, regardless.

It caught you off guard, at first. His hand suddenly clamped where it’d embedded itself,  holding you in place while its twin cupped your cheek, further pinning you. Struggling was secondary, shock coming first, astonishment outweighing the betrayal. You weren’t sure what to do, awkwardly resting your hands on his chest as he nipped and licked so desperately, the gesture highlighting both your reluctance and his inexperience. Still, you were frozen, at least until a particularly brutal bite to your lower lip.

The following shove didn’t separate him from you, but it got Lio away from your mouth, his focus shifting to your neck, his skin refusing to separate from yours. He didn’t move to speak, but Lio didn’t have to. You were stuttering terribly as soon as you were able to. “I… I-I’m not really--”

“You don’t have to be.” Warm, broiling air fanned over your skin, and unconsciously, you curled into yourself. But, you hardly had enough space to breathe, much less arm yourself with more anything more defensive than a frown and a look of concern. “I’m the one in-charge, aren’t I? Let me handle this, too.”

You faltered, briefly. “But I don’t want to--”

“It’s not your fucking choice.” He wasn’t talking anymore, hissing as he leaned back, grabbing the collar of your shirt with his free hand and pulling you towards him a little too roughly. Was it because he’d started a fire recently? Was it withdrawal? Did Burnish get withdrawal? You never had. “I take care of you. You let me take care of you. You owe me this, at least.” He scoffed, shaking his head, as if you were the one at fault. “You’re always going on about how grateful you are. All I’m asking you to do is prove that.”

You didn’t give yourself time to think, ripping his hand from your hair, standing up just as Lio realized he’d done something wrong. Of course, he reached out before you could take a step, taking your hand in his and looking at you so pleadingly, his eyes alone were enough to make you hesitate. “I didn’t mean it,” He said, rushing to get the thought out. There was a tug to your arm, an external force urging you to sit back down, to think things over. “Please, I’m sorry, I just got… ahead of myself. You know I care about you, right?” He didn’t wait for a response, this time, his next pull a little more insistent. “Sit back down. I’ll make sure you’re alright, next time, I promise.”

That was what he’d said, last time. He hadn’t promised, the time before that, but ‘swearing’ wasn’t much better.

He wouldn’t keep his promise. You knew that, and yet, you kneeled against the decrepit wall, shutting your eyes and holding yourself much more rigid than you had, a few minutes ago.

Lio was calmer now, wrapping his arms around your waist and burying his head in the crook of your neck, the silence returning in full-force. You couldn’t say you didn’t prefer it, though. It was pleasent, compared to what Lio actually had to say.

He was right, in a way. Lio was a good leader, a good fighter, and that’s what you needed him to be. When you joined his cause, you hadn’t signed up for a ‘good friend’. You’d wanted to help in any way you could, and you would. You owed your fellow Burnish that.

You owed Lio that, whether or not he deserved it.

Your punches had died down and his chest was eternally grateful considering the beating he’d taken from Kray. While you could never hit him hard enough for it to hurt, the lack of punches currently being thrown meant you’d be far easier to calm down. Unfortunately, you were still crying and he still hadn’t learned how to calm his own partner down.

It dawned on him just how much time he’d neglected to spend with you.

“...I’m sorry.” His answer would only add fuel to the fire, and for once, he didn’t want the fires to grow. It’s not like he could blame you for your reaction; you’d watched from the ground with terrified eyes, no doubt shaking as battles raged in the skies. “How can I make it up to you--”

“That’s all you have to say?” Your tone was so meek and defeated it almost broke his heart. “Do you understand how worried I was? I, I--” Another wave of sobs hit and Lio could only tightly pull you against his chest. Each sob tore at his heartstrings; you had every right to be angry, but that wouldn’t change his calling.

“I could’ve lost the love of my life...”

Luckily his calling had come and passed.

He inhaled your scent, now stained by sweat and smoke -- and it calmed him all the same. He wondered what life would be like without you, he wondered how yours would be without him; you’d be happier, maybe, but he’d still be lonely and lost. Despite it all, he preferred how things were right now. As selfish as it was, you were meant to stay by his side and he was meant to love you with everything he had left.

“I’m not going anywhere, not anymore...” He whispered, fatigue hitting like a wave and nearly washing him away. “We’re safe now. It’s going to be okay.”

I do not write for kid/child/teen readers because it makes me uncomfortable. I may occasionally write parenting headcanons as they focus on the adults, but the characters I write for this are up to my discretion.

I reserve the right to refuse any request. I am a slow writer, so please don’t send in requests multiple times!

i keep the right to refuse to write a character, ship or scenario i dislike or find uncomfortable. i’m also not up to date with everything
