For the last couple weeks I've been drawing logos / designs for local-ish (mostly NJ, some PA and NY) bands as warmups in the morning. Here's what I've come up with! Massive post below the break explaining each logo + where to find each band and listen to their music.

Teenage Halloween- a staple of New Jersey basements for probably about a decade now and finally getting wider recognition in the last couple years. Pop punk / power pop with a killer horn section. First time I saw them was in New Brunswick playing with Walter Etc. and Blowout. They played a killer cover "Build Me Up Buttercup" and my wife got a black eye in the pit. Recommended tracks: "Brain Song," "666," "Clarity." Their first EP is on a separate bandcamp page btw, check it out here it's great.

Sweet Pill - They will call themselves a Philly band but in my heart they'll always be from Glassboro. Definitely one of the more recognizable names on this list. Emo revival - early stuff is more twinkly, more recent stuff is heavier. All of it's great. Recommended tracks "Nephew," "High Hopes."

Shark Club - Central Jersey's finest. I'm very biased because I actually know these dudes and they did the music for my wedding. Some of the best pop punk you'll hear and the nicest people you'll meet. Recommended tracks: "Game Theory," "Bill Murray," "Heavens to Betsy."

Rest Ashore - My favorite band for the last (oh God I'm old now) eight years. From gut-wrenching emo ballads to virtuoso math-rock instrumentals they do it all. One time I got to sing vocals on "Lucy's Theme" at a house show- thank you Erica! Recommended tracks: "Hjarta," "Chinese Opera," "Devotion," "Soyuz Sweetheart." Too many bangers to name honestly, just deep dive their discography.

Morus Alba - First band I ever went to see at a house show and still one of my absolute favorites. Their music feels like the bridge between the best pitchfork, /mu/ alt rock bands and high energy basement emo. I mean that as a compliment and I hope it comes off as one lol. I should note that since 2019 Morus Alba has morphed from a band into an experimental hip-hop project so later releases sound radically different and basically disconnected from the earlier stuff. Also my favorite release from them, Live at Isabelle's, has been scrubbed from the internet but if you'd like the files just email me. Recommended tracks: "Skyscraper," "Human Resources," "The Goodnight Waltz."

Have a Good Season - another Jersey mainstay that's still going strong. Emo revival in their earlier releases, now with more 70s power pop influences in their newer stuff. See them live, they put on a fantastic show and usually play some great covers in addition to their original music. HaGS guys if you're reading this, please put your version of "Since You've Been Gone" online, I'm begging you. Recommended tracks: "Joseph / Shel Silverstein," (you have to listen to them together for the drop, so good) , "Gum, "Gleaux / Scab." Also, frontman Nic Palermo interviewed me once.

Elephant Jake - If you see any of these bands live make it EJ, they put on such a damn good show. Electrifying indie punk from the Empire State. Recommended tracks: "F.D.C." "Sarah Moyer," "Goodness to Honest," and of course you gotta learn "Sebastien Bauer" for the singalongs.

Blind Lion - Sadly one of the greats that we lost along the way. Defunct since about 2017. I only got to see them once but it was a great performance. Alongside their own stuff they played some killer covers of "Bad Moon Rising" and "Moonage Daydream." I had trouble doing a logo design for them because I actually really like the composition, if not the "Ed Hardy-ness," of their existing logo so what you see here are two separate attempts, neither of which feels entirely satisfying to me. Frontperson Larry Flately currently plays in Nematode and also handled production of Bradley Gardens joke hiphop group The Breakfast Boiz under the moniker "DJ Ova EZ." Recommended tracks: "Brumous," "Dinner."

Fighting Seasons - A band that I sadly found out about too late (via a sticker under the bridge in my town which has since been painted over). 2010s pop punk that packs a helluva punch, especially considering that I'm pretty sure the members were high schoolers for most of the band's existence. I think some members may have gone on to form Sawce (FFO Chon, Polyphia, that type of music) but I can't remember where I read/heard that so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Recommended tracks: "Fighting Seasons," "Oil on Canvas"

Milkmen- Another fallen giant, officially disbanded in 2019. Like Morus Alba, they played the very first house show I attended and their few releases remain on constant rotation in my home. Used to put on a great show and were one of the bands I always thought would make it big until suddenly they weren't around anymore. Frontman Ben Thieberger contributed guitar and vocals to Covid quarantine project Kin if you're looking for a bit of an extra fix but beyond that I don't know what these guys are up to these days, sadly. Recommended tracks: "Ramus," "Johnny Dangerously," "how sieves catch breeze," "K.O.T.H."

Stand and Wave - New York (now Philly) pop punkers delivering instant dopamine hits with every track. Another great live act, see them with EJ if you can! They often play shows together. Recommended tracks: "Convos," "Mrs. Dash," "Splashton Kutcher," "Michael Collins."

My Chemical Romance - You know who they are. While I was drawing all these other logos I ran a poll on Patreon to decide which famous New Jersey band should also be graced with a drawing from me. MCR won the poll by a hefty margin so unfortunately you won't get to see me do an illegible black metal take on Hoboken's Yo La Tengo. I ended up doing two versions: the one with the halo is the first, the one with the bats was the second. I tried to do something kind of thin and elegant with the first one and I don't think it's terrible but I also wasn't quite satisfied with it. For the 2nd attempt I tried to lean into the kind of pulpy, almost horror punk aesthetic of early MCR and I think that one looks better even if it's less original.

Lallybroch: copyright vs. trademark

An excellent question was asked by our friend @rosfrank in the comments thread to 'The door faces North' post and given the cosmic amount of uninformed bullshit being ventilated for almost ten years in this fandom, I think it's time to answer it once and for all:

Whenever we are informally talking about 'owning the rights to something', I think it's very important to bear in mind a fundamental distinction between two different categories of ownership rights: copyright and trademark.

The copyright is the most familiar one to many of you. It is what you usually find on those annoying and apparently useless first or last pages of all the printed or digital editions on this planet. Something like this:

In the US, copyright issues are regulated by the Copyright Act of 1976, as included in Title 17 of the US Code. The US public authority competent for registering and managing copyright is, as predictable, the US Copyright Office.

Perhaps the most seminal US Supreme Court decision, as far as copyright is concerned, is the 1991 Feist Publications, Inc., v. Rural Telephone Service Co. In it, the Court ruled that mere compilations of information or facts (such as, for example, telephone books) are not protected by copyright, according to US law. In other words, the ancient legal concept of 'sweat of the brow' (which simply means the amount of work required to gather and compile those facts/information) is not enough to qualify a work for copyright protection, if no creative effort is added to enhance its content. This is why I have always considered absolutely ridiculous Marple's efforts to watermark public information screenshots: it is useless (to the extent that it legally protects her from nothing) and, as her timelines, a mere compilation of facts (legally ditto). A similar approach is preferred by the UK and also by many Roman law legal systems, such as the French one - just making things clearer, here, by the way.

But I am rambling. In my view, Lallybroch, as a pivotal concept used in Diana Gabaldon's books, is protected by the copyright granted to each and every of her books mentioning it, according to the Roman law principle 'accessorium sequitur principale' (the accessory follows the principal). So it will remain protected for at least 70 years since the last of her books mentioning it would have been published under copyright. Unless she chooses to separately protect the entire finished cycle as a whole, once Book Ten (fingers crossed) is published, preferably during our foreseeable lifetimes.

That being said, that goes only for one copyright category: (published) text - you cannot copyright that secret diary in your drawer, LOL. This is why, the current US Copyright Office records concerning Lallybroch look like this:

Sony Pictures Television Inc owns the copyright to the fictional name Lallybroch in the motion pictures category, as it is the title of the Episode 12, in Season 1 - DG has been handsomely compensated for this, no worries. And someone I have no idea about owns the rights to an original musical score she has written and titled Lallybroch in the music category, since October 2013.

Onwards to the trademark. This is something different and this is all about making your name/concept/idea profitable. It is all about branding it, putting it on a product and selling it under that brand. It includes all the graphic elements and the logo of the brand (accessorium...) - in short, its visual identity to the consumers. In the US, trademark issues are regulated by the 1946 Lanham Act and the public competent authority is the good old US Patent and Trade Office (USPTO).

Right now, the situation for the Lallybroch trademark is as follows:

So, we see three different trademarks: two of them, owned by Diana Gabaldon, are classified as 'dead' (cancelled and/or abandoned) and the third, Lallybroch Spirits, owned by S's Great Glen Company is pending approval - he will not be able to label any booze bottle Lallybroch Drink Me before permission is granted by the USPTO.

Let's unpack:

Both Lallybroch trademarks formerly owned by Diana Gabaldon were filed at the USPTO on February 21, 2000 and granted on December 12, 2000. The first was aimed at producing 'tartan fabrics for the manufacturer of clothing' and it was abandoned in December 2003:

The reason is that the owner did not file in any Statement of Use after the trademark was granted. She had three years to do so, and since she chose not to do anything about it, the trademark was deemed abandoned (Stacy K. Smith is the attorney hired by Herself, btw). That means she specifically implied not to intend using it in the future. As such, she may claim NO rights on a now free to use mark:

The second trademark was aimed at producing 'clothing, namely, t-shirts, dresses and headwear' and also 'jewelry, namely, rings, pins and necklaces'- to cut the story short: OL merchandise - and it was cancelled on March 1st, 2013:

The reason is that the owner did not file the Section 8 declaration (of continuous use for five years) within the allowed legal timeframe (6 months after the fifth anniversary of the trademark granting renewal). Her trademark federal rights are now deemed canceled (but not her state law and/or common law rights!) and if she wants to ever use that name again, she would have to start the whole process over, bearing in mind the trademark could have been granted to someone else, in the meanwhile (not her case).

And for anyone who might ask, 'Erself does not own any other trademarks whatsoever:

The other (Doll Lab - LOL for ages) Diana Gabaldon is a pharmacist from Albuquerque, NM. Chill. 🤣🤣🤣

I am TIRED of the racist Miguel allegations. I am a firm believer that because he is half Irish and half Mexican, if he were to be present in front of a racist, he wouldn't tolerate it. Also headcanon that he's not the arguing type. He'll just throw them out a window (exaggerating).

He loves cats and dogs, very gentle with both. Knows how to treat both correctly too. Doesn't own any pets though, he's scared of losing it one day.

Silently cries. Even when alone he's very quiet. His eyes get very red and so does his face, very quickly. No puffy eyes tho!

No time for skincare, but he's into biotech... Probably assuming too much, but if he could then why wouldn't he; he probably concocted some sort of "one in all" skin product.

On that note his hygiene is on point! He'd probably be so upset if he ever stunk.

Definitely dyes his hair. I do not believe that he doesn't have a single grey strand up there. If his S/O once said they liked the grey hairs, he'd probably chuckle... And then keep dying it anyways.

I think he'd choose to wear shorts over pants when given the chance to... Even jorts. It's ok, he looks good wearing them!

I think he'd like silver jewelry even though gold looks better on him. (He can pull off both *lip bite*.)

Doesn't like designer logos printed everywhere over his accessories/clothing.

Try to talk to him in a silly language (think of that skibidi toilet shit), he'll respond instantly. Don't get the wrong idea, he won't be amused by your antics.

If he doesn't show interest in you then he's not interested in you. I'm a big believer that if you were crushing on him, you'd have to wait for HIM to show interest. Otherwise all your flirting will be rendered useless.

Per the poll I put out I'm gonna ramble about how Tails displays his genius vs how Eggman does.

It's long so under the cut it goes

We'll start with Eggman. Now Eggman clearly has a complex. He's talked about being compared to Maria his whole life which has made him want a lot of attention. Which a valid feeling but then Eggman being Eggman takes it to the ^nth degree.

See he has to make sure EVERYONE knows how smart he is. He plasters his face over everything he makes, names everything after himself to some degree, and is loud bragging all the time about his latest greatest creation and everyone being inferior to him and his genius.

He's gonna make sure that people recognize him and what he's done no matter what.

With this mindset, all of his creations are only for the benefit of he, himself and no one else. Every invention he creates falls under 3 categories.

Expanding the Eggman Empire

Kill Sonic

Or both

Even when he has "allies" he very rarely gives them any of his inventions unless they directly benefit himself (hello start of the Zombot arc). His selfishness and self importance has him only making things that fuel his own desires and wants.

On the flip side of this though we have Tails.

Now Tails also has houses that look like him and has his own logo (and I'll get into that a little later). But in contrast to Eggman Tails doesn't brag much about his creations. He'll be proud of them and talk about them but never in a condescending manner.

(Side note: off the top of my head I think the only times we may have seen a slightly more condescending tone is a few times when he's talking to Sonic but it always came off as more of a "little sibling being a little shit" kinda tone)

Tails showing his friends his inventions is never in a "Look how much better than you I am cause I made this" kinda way. It's always felt more like a kid showing people their macaroni art cause they're proud they were able to make it. (which he is 8 so def fits lol)

And half the time his inventions are for the benefit of not only himself but all their friends, allies and just other people in general. He makes things to share and help improve what people already have to make their lives easier/safer. I mean look what he did to Sonic's plane. and their communication devices.

Now onto my next point: Quality over Quantity

So switching back to Eggman, he gets so focused on making these massive armies and sprawling cities/bases with his face plastered and designed into everywhere he's not gonna be able to do that by himself. So most of his creations are made in production lines not by his own hands.

Most of the time when we see Eggman he's not making something he's at a control panel directing things to be made. He's very hands off with the majority of his own creations with the exception of his more one of a kind creations like Metal Sonic.

Meanwhile we see Tails is always fiddling with things, taking them apart, and improving them, sometimes it's Eggman's own creations Tails messes with. Tails is typically shown to be very hands on. And yeah his house and inventions have his logo or face on them but their all one of a kind, hand crafted creations not massive bases that go on for miles (lol). So it feels more like a signature than an announcement like Eggman's does.

Now bringing this all together it comes down to the one person Tails is boastful to and constantly saying their not as smart as him --- Eggman.

Now, Eggman on multiple occasions has recognized how smart Tails is but we rarely if ever (off the top of my head) see Tails saying the same about Eggman.

Most of the time Tails is roasting him about shoddy craftsmanship and how Eggman's plans are dumb. One thing I've noticed too is we always see Tails hacking and messing with Eggmans tech but we've never really seen the reverse as far as I can recall.

Heck we've seen multiple time Tails taking apart Eggman's machines and talking about how weird and unorganized all his bots insides. We've seen Tails casually hack into Eggman's networks in the middle of fights.

Which brings us back to the quality over quantity thing. Because Eggman's armies and bases are mass produced mostly at this point so the craftsmanship quality goes down. Eggman is a genius for sure but even if his designs are great since he's not behind every robot creating them, his own genius suffers. He's too busy trying to make it big and loud that what's actually produced it of a lesser quality.

And then we have Tails who is one on one with all his creations and that makes them harder for Eggman to destroy cause Tails can personally check everything is up to snuff for all his inventions. (meanwhile too Tails rips Eggman's robots apart for extra screws probably)

I just think that it's very funny that while Eggman goes to great lengths to show the whole world he's smarter than everyone else, Tails just needs Eggman to know he's smarter then him.

On January 29th 2024, the day I posted Sophie's Hon Vol. I [here], Sophie basically officialized her relationship with Perry by posting a carousel of their ski trip to Meribel, France, on instagram.

And by now, they are not only instagram official, but also event official!!!

Let's talk about what these lovebirds have been up to since the last days of January.

❤️ Sophie's Hon Vol. II Valentine's Day Edition ❤️

The little gif above is the logo of Perry's dad film company Cupid Productions, that produced films like Sympathy for the devil (1968) and Vanishing Point (1971), that I thought it was apt to embellish this post.

But before talking about their first public event together, let's talk about two occasions when Perry didn't appear in the pictures, but he was probably there in some form.

MOVIE DATE

According to Backgrid, on January 26th 2024, Sophie was seen arriving for a movie date at Everyman Cinema in Hampstead, North London:

We don't know if she was joined by her friends or Perry on that movie date, but what caught my attetion was that long, gold necklace around her delicate neck.

I know I can be wrong, but I think I have seen that necklace before, but around another neck.

Look, the necklace looks too long for Sophie, and that just increeses my suspictions that that piece of jewerly is Perry's Cowdray necklace, the one with his family estate sigil logo:

If I'm right, It seems that they are sharing jewerly since it's difficult to share clothes with a man that tall lol

CHRISTIAN WOOD BIRTHDAY

On January 27th 2024, Sophie attendend the celebration of her friend and Hair Stylist Chistian Wood's 40th Birthday:

In one of the pictures shared by Chistian Wood, you can see the hands of a man sat next to Sophie, wearing a green jacket:

I can be wrong, but I think that's Perry wearing the same green jacket he wore on January 17th 2024 during their evening stroll in London.

I can't believe that I am able to recognize Perry's limbs and other human parts on pictures now 🙈

THE PLAYLIST THAT WAS PROMISED

Everyone speculated about those songs Sophie were posting on IG back in December (most of them break up songs), but she was just sharing music with her Hon.

I can't take credit for this, it was shared with me by a friend that casually found Perry on certain Swedish digital music streaming service . . . . You know which one!

So, there you can find that Perry's latest playlist has a collaborator, that is not other than Sophie.

This playlist was created on October 31st 2023, so they were definitely together by then, and they both were adding songs since then until mid January 2024.

In that playlist you will find songs like Orange Blossoms by Goldford, shared twice, first added by Sophie on December 10th 2023, and added a second time by Perry on December 19th 2023. I love this song, and for me this is their song. I even posted about it here.

Orange Blossoms also appears in another Sophie's individual playlist.

The song All I Ever Asked by Rachael Chinouriri was added by Perry on January 6th 2024. This song also appears in another Sophie's individual playlist.

LUNAR NEW YEAR 2024 - YEAR OF DRAGON 🐉

So, on February 10th, 2024, Sophie and Perry made their public event debut by attending Stanley Zhu's Year of Dragon celebration aboard London's luxury steamer The Dixie Queen.

They looked so good that night 🤩 Perry listened to me and got a better tailored suit 🤭 And Sophie, what can I say? She was a gorgeous and sexy mermaid 🧜‍♀️ 😍

Also, blonde Sophie wearing a necklace with 3 little dragons It's very funny to me 🐉 🐉 🐉

Some of their friends were at the party as well, like Sophie's childhood friend Tabitha Doherty; Rupert Gorst and Amadea Kimmins, the couple that joined them to their ski trip; Sascha von Bismarck and Ella Richards, another couple.

Sascha von Bismarck and Ella Richards are long time friends of Olympia of Greece (Perry's ex girlfriend). Ella is one of her closest friends, and Olympia also keeps following Sophie on instagram. So clearly the "cheating" allegations are a made up narrative.

Anyways, Sophie was enjoying the night and feeling the music and dancing this way . . .

. . . . and I have to say this, Perry, you lucky bastard!

They look so comfortable with each other and so happy together that I can only wish for them to have the loveliest first Valentine's Day as a couple.

FINALLY. I can share these beautiful quilts that I made for friends as Christmas presents this past year. These are only the tops themselves, as I forgot to take finished product pics, but they are wonderful all the same!

First up we got spacey stars on galaxy background:

Purple and Green floral prints with goose tracks pattern (this one had borders but again, I forgot to take pics of it):

I also had my mom help embroider a little logo on the back of each quilt and I had tons of fun doing this project.

I used (and for some did my own variation of) the Missouri Star Quilt Company's tutorials for each of these quilts. Those ladies really know their stuff! It will be a long, LONG time before I try doing so many of them at once though lol!

My friends told me that they all love their quilts, one of which almost fell asleep under it during the party, which made me a little teary eyed in a happy way

Jungkook walks down the same aisle for the fifth time with a defeated expression. He cannot find them.

“What the fuck now?” he mutters.

He’s searched online, but this is the only store that claims to carry the brand for 50 miles. However, he doesn’t see them here either, so that must be an error. 

He would drive, but then he’d have to leave the ice cream, and that store won’t have it. Either way, he’s fucked. He’d feel like a failure if he came without even one of the things you asked for.

Just as he’s about to give you a call to deliver the bad news, a gentle hand taps his shoulder. He turns around and an older woman greets him with a warm smile. He doesn’t know her or does he know what she wants, but something tells him that she’s the answer to all his problems. Whether it be the motherly aura that emits from her or the red smock she wears with the store logo on it—he’s sure she’ll be able to help. 

Her presence has brought him a sense of comfort.

“Do you need any help, dear?” she asks him right away. 

A weight lifts off of Jungkook’s shoulders when her soft voice utters those words.

He starts with a sigh of relief. “Yes, ma’am. If you don’t mind.” 

Jungkook doesn’t hesitate. He pulls out his phone and shows her the picture of the brand you sent him.

“I’m looking for this brand of pads, but I can’t seem to find them even though your store says they’re in stock,” he explains.

She puts on her glasses and zooms in on the item before she hums.

“Right this way, sweetheart,” she beckons, and he follows like a lost puppy. She leads him to the middle of the aisle and squats when she finds the item she’s looking for. “Here you are, my love. They just changed the design on the box, but if you look at the SKU numbers, they’re a match.”

She hands Jungkook the box, and after he carefully examines it, he realizes she’s right. If he weren’t in a public place, he’d jump for joy.

“Thank you so much…”

“Brenda,” she announces, and he smiles.

“Thanks, Ms. Brenda. I owe you my life.”

The associate waves her hand in dismissal. 

“I’m glad I can help you, baby. I took one look at your cart, and I knew this was urgent,” she explains. “Is she having a rough time this month?”

Jungkook freezes mid-conversation. He has no idea. 

After all these years, there’s never been one occasion when he’s heard you complain about your period. In fact, the only hint you’d give him is limiting intercourse to oral. He just figured you were horny but didn’t want to be touched, so he never took it further. He had no idea it was this bad for you; he feels terrible.

“You’re new to this, aren’t you?” Brenda implies. “Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it.”

Used to it?

Jungkook is caught off guard. Would you really call him up to do this again? He’s terrible at this, but still, he wouldn’t mind. But something about the way Brenda said those words has Jungkook's heart swelling.

The thought of going through what he just went through with you every month doesn’t scare him at all. If anything, it makes him feel optimistic about the future. As selfish as it sounds, he doesn’t want to see you with anyone else. Being with you feels right, but the problem is that it shouldn’t. 

Neither of you should be this comfortable with each other. But then again, why can’t you be? Who makes the rules other than the two of you?

“My husband was a young man like you at one point in his life. I’d ask him to go get the wildest things for me…oh my goodness. Wait until you start having kids. Those pregnancy cravings are—”

“Uhh, well she’s calling me. Thank you so much for your help and for the advice. I really appreciate it, gotta go!” he blurts out.

He throws the stuff in the cart and hurries to the registers…before she can put any more scenarios in his mind.

Jungkook’s journey is pretty uneventful after that. He paid for his groceries and drove back to your place without any delays. He even managed to book a hotel room while he was waiting in line at the store. 

Pride fills Jungkook’s chest as he quietly opens your front door. He feels like he just unlocked a new level of maturity. Now that he knows what he’s looking for, he has no problem making an emergency store run for you. If you allow him, that is. He knows you can be stubborn, and asking for help is usually your last resort.

He’d like to respect your independence, but he also wants to pamper his girl whenever he can. 

His girl.

Jungkook knows he shouldn’t say that, but it felt too good to resist. You mean a lot to him; he can’t help himself.

 He finds you sleeping on your couch when he enters your apartment, so he tries his best to make little noise as he makes his way to the kitchen. Once there, he unpacks the items while still being mindful of not waking you.

He also puts away some dishes you’d washed earlier while he’s in there, and once everything is put away, he makes you a snack before he departs. Just as he finishes arranging the tray, he feels a familiar warmth wrap around his midsection. You rest your head on his back and begin running your hands up and down his chest. The dimly lit kitchen remains quiet until you speak.

“I’m sorry, baby.”

Jungkook isn’t sure why he’s smiling, but your voice is just pleasing to hear. He can stay like this forever just listening to you talk about anything.

“It’s all good. I told you that,” he replies. 

He’s torn between turning around and staying in this position. The former is tempting, but he won’t act without guidance. It may lead to an event like the one that happened in the bathroom. He’ll opt for enjoying the silence and the comfort of being close to you.

“I made you something in case you get hungry,” he says after a while. He can feel your smile growing as your cheeks begin to spread.

“Thank you.”

Jungkook looks at his phone and realizes it’s almost time to check into his room. He’s about to announce his departure, but once again, you become the center of his attention.

“Jungkook?” you call.

“Yeah, babe.”

You cling onto his shirt, probably squeezing your eyes shut as you allow him to witness one of your most vulnerable moments. He assures you that you have nothing to be afraid of because he’ll always be here for you no matter what. And with a deep breath and confidence in his word, you say what’s on your mind.

Your voice is soft and small, but he hears you, loud and clear. “Please stay.”

Jungkook immediately cancels his reservations, not caring one bit if he’ll be refunded. The company will probably reimburse him regardless. Either way, he’s not going. He’s staying right here until you’re ready for him to leave.

“Don’t worry, pretty girl. I will.”
