I am not a religious person, but sometimes you get a weird and interesting podcast in that vein. So... Let's talk about The Gospel of the Flood from Jonas Kyratzes and @astronautdown . The Gospel of the Flood is an philosophical, apocalypse, religiously-framed fiction podcast that seems to be set inspecifically in the modern day. On the day the continents started to sink into the ocean, our main character, a priest, loses his faith. It just evaporates from him. Gone. And so, he travels to visit his brothers in faith. He wants to see how they're fairing, do they still have their faith? What are they doing now that the ocean is rapidly rising? Now that the world is literally and metaphorically sinking. Can he do something/ anything in the face of global death? Can he/should he reclaim his faith? The show is introspective, gentle, and philosophical. As an atheist who was brought up Christian, believe me when I say, I'm not looking for "God" based content. But this is an interesting one. What does a miracle mean when someone survives a large scale event above all those other people? Can something be a miracle for one, when hundreds, thousands, millions die. Surely God can't have only looked at one person. It's desturbing when you zoom out and think about it for too long. What does a prophet look like? What would you do in the face of global annulation? 7, 15 minute episodes of moral philosophy that will either confirm your faith, or your atheism, depending on how you look at it. *Shrug* So, if you like thoughtful philosophy, maybe like if Almehem had a baby with The Tower? Or maybe with Still Lives? Then, The Gospel of the Flood is for you! #drama #dramapodcast #postapocalyptic #specfic #speculativefiction #fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #gospeloftheflood #moralphilosophy #religion #christianity #christianityasaframingnarrative #jonaskyratzes #chrischristodoulou https://www.instagram.com/p/CpzEcInOjBG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Diva Talk a Hit Podcast! Keldamuzik Keeps the Conversation Flowing
Tumblr media
Remember the awesome talks and interviews on Diva Talk Tonite? Well, get ready for a whole new way to hear them! Keldamuzik, the amazing host, is moving her show to the world of podcasts – it’s now called “Diva Talk Podcast.” This switch means the show goes with the flow of how people listen to stuff these days – on their phones, whenever they want, instead of just on TV.
Why Podcasts?
People are watching less TV and listening to more things on their phones. Podcasts are like radio shows you can listen to anytime, anywhere. This makes them perfect for busy lives, and that’s why Keldamuzik decided to move Diva Talk there to reach more people.
Tumblr media
Still the Same Great Show
Even though it’s a podcast now, Diva Talk is still all about the same awesome conversations you loved on TV. Keldamuzik is still there, talking about relationships, self-care, big issues, and chasing dreams.
Bigger and Better with Podcasts
Here’s why going to podcasts is a big win for Diva Talk:
Everyone Can Listen: Podcasts aren’t stuck in one place! People all over the world can now hear Diva Talk, not just those who could watch the TV show.
More Cool Guests: Podcasts are more flexible, so Keldamuzik can chat with even more amazing people, both nearby and far away.
Deeper Dives: Podcasts give Keldamuzik more time to talk about important stuff. This means you get to hear more details and interesting ideas on every topic.
Tumblr media
The Future Looks Bright!
By moving to podcasts, Keldamuzik keeps Diva Talk fresh and exciting. The show’s fun format, Keldamuzik’s energy, and the awesome interviews guarantee it’ll keep listeners hooked for a long time. So, grab your phone, find Diva Talk, and join the conversation wherever you are!

You should not compare yourself because everybody's circumstances are different. Each of those circumstances can change how each of you deals with life. Just embracing that can help you see how unique you are as a person. One of the ways that I do this is I go back through my unique experiences and write them down. This helps me to see just how unique my life is and how I got there.

Another Audioverse Nominee! Let's talk about 2022 Tribeca Film Festival selected podcast, Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature from @wlfdr . Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature is a spec-fic, Classical Lit (tbh more like anthro or history to me) podcast presented partly as a University class. We follow Professor (?) as he teaches a possibly questionable class on the literature of a heretofore unknown society, the Anterrans. A society that dates back to 84,000 BCE--massively well before any other known civilization. The ruins of Anterra lie deep in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, or so say the ultra-secretive (and let's be honest, sometimes scientifically dodgy) Chinese scientists who are working the dive site. But with almost no publications online or in the news, how does the professor even *know* about Anterra or its wall-carved literature, let alone have enough info to teach Classics C667?? He appears to possibly have some Chinese contacts, but is this true, or an elaborate hoax from a slightly unlikeable man who wants to make a name for himself, or is maybe slowly going insane? Is this enough to stake his reputation on, enough to risk his position at Harbridge University? He thinks so, and we'll just have to wait and see. Modes is a unique plot in podcasting, so far as I can tell. Which is always fun and refreshing! 9, 15 minute episodes so far, and Season 2 just started up--episodes every two weeks. It should be a quick catch up! So, if you like academia with an air of mystery, spies and secretive governments, and/or unreliable narrators, then Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature is for you!

Looking for a Great Microphone?
The Shure MV7 is highly recommended. I've had it for a long time now and it was perfect for me right out of the box. Simple to use and the app allows for all kinds of cool adjustments. Not the least expensive by all means but not the most either. It's the perfect in-between I think. If you want to know more about it I did an article on Hubpages and if you want to price check also have an Amazon affiliate link, which, thank you for the support should you use that.
