I’m finally drawing Hiro (Cameron) once again >:0.I’ve updated his design and I know it’s hard to see the little written text up there.

Cameron has two bionic prosthetic legs and left arm,also has a energy core embedded in his chest from later events (cause of size shifting ability). He has hidden wings. Hiro starts off as a hero when young,then his father forces him to be a villain,he eventually becomes an antihero,slowly returning to the hero title later on.

Your grip on Atsumu’s shirt is tight, and you bury your head in his chest, both of you trying to remember each other’s scent.

Your time is running out.

“I love you Tsum.”

“I’ll always love you Y/N.” And you go home. Closing those chapters of yours life, beginning anew.

3 years later

It’s the 2021 Olympics, and you go with Akashi and his kids to watch in the stadium. You hold baby Hiro in your arms while Akashi walks with Tomo holding his hand. You guys got good seats due to your connections with the boys.

They stand on the stage and you see them come up:

The Monster Generation.

What an intimidating lineup. You don’t understand how anyone could possibly want to challenge these literal monsters, but you get it when you see Oikawa walk in with his team. “Akashi, do you see Oikawa-san?”

“Yea, he has been playing in Argentina for a while now, Shoyo bumped into him in Rio some years ago.” Akashi says. Wow, this is going to be an amazing game.

Volleyball has brought a lot of great things to your life. Volleyball brought you a great friendship with Tendo and Toshi, and all the other players at Shiratorizawa. It brought you to Atsumu and years of great memories with all the boys from Inarizaki. You befriended his pro-volleyball friends: Bo, Shoyo, and Omi, and even Kageyama. You got close with Akashi; even if you both went to the same uni, it was really because of Bo that you guys are as close as you are. Bo and Akashi even made you godmother of baby Hiro who you adore.

Volleyball has brought a lot of great things to you your life. You’re working as a sports journalist and get to interview the boys after the game and publish it for thousands to see. You worked hard to be here, and you’re so glad you went through everything you did just to see the view of the summit.

The boys get their win for Japan and the whole stadium is going crazy. You and Akashi scream too, excited and proud of the boys for this. They earned it, but you could not deny Oikawa’s team also put up a great fight. There is not a worthier opponent than Oikawa, Toshi would say (that and that he should have come to Shiratorizawa or whatever).

Both of you run up to the boys and congratulate them on their win. Bo takes Hiro from you and picks up Tomo simultaneously asking if they thought their dad is cool. They say he’s the coolest obviously.

“Omi,” you call out. He sees you and his face lights up, happy to see you as always. “Congrats!” You fist bump him because you know he really doesn’t want a hug, not because of you, but he doesn’t want to get you dirty. Shoyo puts an arm around your shoulders and thanks you for coming.

“Y/n,” you turn to see Atsumu standing behind you with a towel to dry himself off. “I saw you in the stands earlier, did you see me wave?” You did see him wave, and offered him a smile in return.

“You played a great game Tsum, all of you did. I’m so proud of you. So once you’re all cleaned up, please make some time to interview with me, yea?” The boys nod their heads and head off to get changed, but Atsumu stays with you. “How are you feeling?” You ask.

“On top of the world,” he tells you. “Thank you for being here.”

You chuckle at the setter. “I wouldn’t have missed this game for the world.” And you’re telling the truth. “It’s good to see you Tsum, you look great!”

It has been forever since he’s last seen you, but his heart beats all over the place seeing as you’ve only gotten more beautiful as you always do. “I think y’outshine me Y/n. A top journalist? Ya’ve made quite a name for yerself.”

“Thank you Tsum, but I can say the same for you. Tied for setter of the year? You and Kags just don’t know when to quit.” He’s happy to know you’ve kept up with his career.

“It’s not really in our nature.” He grins and you can’t help but laugh at the honesty of his words.

Atsumu sees Ushijima walk up behind you and tenses a bit, thinking he might get scolded to go back with a glare from the spiker. Instead, Ushijima looks at you and nods his head. “Great job Toshi! I’m so proud of you!” You give the volleyball idiot a hug and he hums. “Tendo sends his regards and says he was watching on the television.”

“I’m sure I’ll get a call from him.” He says with certainty then turns his attention back to Atsumu. “Let’s go.”

The setter salutes his captain and nods at you. “I’ll see y’at the interview?” You nod and he excitedly skips back to the changing rooms with the rest of his team.

You returned with Akashi and took baby Hiro back into your arms. “How was talking to him y/n?”

It has been years since you’ve seen Atsumu face-to-face. You’ve seen him on TV, even pictures Bo sends Akashi from practice, or just online, but your paths had yet to cross, until today.

That’s a lie, you did see him three times. The first time being two years ago at Akashi and Bokuto’s wedding. You were Akashi’s best woman and Hinata was Bokuto’s best man. The two of them didn’t want a whole crew so it was just you and Shoyo up there with them.

You exchanged hello’s and formal greetings, but nothing beyond that. You were either with Akashi and Bokuto, Shoyo, or Omi the whole time. And being with Kiyoomi was very scarce that day because you always stayed with Akashi in case he needed anything, doing your duty as best woman.

You danced with all four of them, and just the four of them. However, with Omi, you really just danced with him on the far side of the dance floor for a minute before he got uncomfortable as people piled on in.

The second time, was about a year later, when Tomo’s biological mother gave birth to him. You and Atsumu were the only ones in the waiting room because Shoyo and Sakusa were hurrying back from Northern Japan.

Bokuto steps out of the room with tears streaming down his face. “It’s a boy.” He tells you guys. You and Tsum’s hearts are so full in that moment seeing your friend, your family so happy. You all group hug, you and Bo crying and Tsum shaking.

Bo goes back inside to spend time with his family and the surrogate mother is wheeled out. “Thank you so much.” You whisper to her and she returns your gratitude with a lazy smile.

You look back at Tsum and smile. “So we have a nephew now.”

He smiles, “Actually Samu had a baby not too long ago.”

“Oh my gosh, actually??” He nods. “I’m sorry I missed it. I had no idea.”

There’s no reason for you to apologize, Atsumu knows its his fault you’re not really as involved with much in his life. “It’s not your fault, her name is Hina.”

A chuckle escapes you. “Good vegetables. How fitting.” Tsum agrees and shows you some pictures of her, she is such a cute little one.

Apparently, Samu’s girlfriend left him alone with little Hina, but he’s fine with that because he loves the little one so much. You make a mental note to go visit him some time soon.

Akashi steps out of the room this time, eyes red and puffy. “Do you want to come and meet him?”

After that, you saw him again at baby Hiro’s birth a couple of months ago, but you only saw him leaving the hospital from afar. You did go see Samu and caught up with him, he was here at the game with a stand selling Onigiris with Hina as the face of the brand.

The crowd begins to roar as the players all come out and line up. They thank the audience for the game and head towards the various reporters that are there to interview them. You make your way to them and the first person to go up to you is Atsumu.

“Ya said to make some time for ya, ye?” He asks with a grin on his stupidly handsome face.

Content, you nod your head and begin, clicking the record button on your device. “I am here with Miya Atsumu, the setter for Japan’s 2021 Olympic team and Division 1 MSBY Black Jackal. Miya, can you tell me how you were feeling when you got that last point that secured you the win?”

Hearing you be so formal was strange to him, but he loved how professional you sounded. “Sad, that it was all over, but more annoyed that Tobio-kun and Shoyo-kun got that last one in together.”

You smiled and continued. “There are rumors that you are planning to leave the Jackals, is this true?”

He shook his head. “No, Bokuto, Omi, Shoyo and I just signed our contracts again. I hope we’ll be together for a long time.”

“What are your future plans in your personal life? Any goals, place you want to be?”

It takes him a second, but his face softens as he looks at you sadly. “Yea, I plan to go to travel with the girl I love, and I hope to marry her one day.”

You’re taken aback because you didn’t know Atsumu was in a relationship again. “That’s some lucky girl, I wish you the best of luck.” Hurts just a little.

You continue with the interviews and move on to the other boys.

After everything’s finished, the boys come out of the stadium and catch up to you and Akashi talking to Samu. Hina was playing with Tomo while Hiro napped in your arms, you never wanted to let that baby go.

Hina looks at something behind you and squeals. “Uncle Tsumu!” She runs to him and he twirls her around in his arms.

“Hinaaaa, How are ya?”

The toddler babbles about how proud she is of him, and Tomo runs over to Bokuto, jumping into his arms. Kiyoomi stands next to you and away from everyone else. “Do you wanna hold him?” You and Omi were the godparents of Hiro, though you had to really convince him.

Hiro wakes up, but instead of crying, he reaches out for Kiyoomi and your heart melts. You’re sure Omi’s does too, but he just smiles under the mask. Hiro goes back to sleep and you see Atsumu approach you guys without Hina.

Sakusa almost hisses at him, trying to keep Hiro safe from the boisterous setter. You laugh as Kiyoomi walks away from you two. “What’s his problem?” Tsum asks.

“He’s trying to protect baby Hiro from waking up.” Atsumu hums and nods.

“Are ya coming to eat with us?” He asks.

There wasn’t anything else you had to do, but you didn’t know if you were up for it. “I don’t know, not feeling all that social.”

“Pleaseeeee, I got somethin’ important to ask ya y/n.”

“Just ask me now.”

“Nah.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“Fine, then I’m not going.” You huff and turn away from him.

Atsumu never really could handle you him being annoyed with him. “Ok ok.” He puts a hand on your arm and has you face him. “I know it’s been a while since we’ve really ever talked this much, but- I just wanted ya t’know... that, I- gosh this is hard.” He slaps a hand behind his neck and just breathes. You’ve never seen him quite this nervous. Not even when he proposed.

“I just- it’s been so long, and throughout all that time, I got to think a lot y’know? About what yer doin’ who yer with and I quickly realized it wasn’t any of my business anymore, but gosh, ya know how many times I picked up the phone to call ya? Just to hear your voice, or even yer voice mail. I’ve listened to every single one of yer podcasts and interviews with various athletes, hoping one day that you’ll interview me. Then Bo told me you were comin’ with Akashi-kun and man I was so excited. Pretty sure I was gonna pass out seein ya up there all pretty with the kiddos and Akashi.

“I guess how ya feel about me has probably changed, it’s been a long time. I can say for certain that mine have changed. They just seem to grow more and more everyday. Hell, I don’t even see ya more than once a year. After ya left me I would’ve done anything to have ya back right away, but I see now that I needed that time to be better for ya, to come back stronger and a better person. My life has changed stupidly good, and even though I don’t miss ya 24/7 like I used to... I- goddamnit. I still love you. More than I did three years ago, more than I did 3 months ago, more than I did 3 days ago, and more than I did 3 seconds ago.

“I had to learn to live without ya, something I didn’t want to do, but I know it was my fault. But now that I know it’s not the end of the world whether we end up together or not, I can’t help but try my very hardest to getcha back. Friends, frenemies, lovers, whatever. Anything that allows me to call ya randomly just to say hi and hear yer voice.

“But if you really don’t want anything to do with me, I promise I won’t involve myself in yer life anymore. But life is fair, and in turn, unfair because our lives always seem to cross. I’m sorry if this is unfortunate for you, but I’m a little selfish in that I know you’ll never really disappear from my life. So if that’s all you want, seeing each other every so often when life deems it necessary, then I’m ok with that too.”

His confession left you speechless and overwhelmed with this insane amount of care he’s just thrown at you. Of course you still loved him, he was your first everything. As time passed, you both grew in different directions, you thought you were no longer tied together by that string that you both held onto. He was right. No matter what you do, or where you go, he’s always going to be in your life, he’s always going to show up. He’s always going to be there, and that’s all you’ve ever wanted.

You’re still wary though, the people you are now is so different to who you were three years ago, but even if he is mature and grown up now, he’s still you’re Atsumu. He’s never really changed, but he’s grown.

“Can I think about it?” You ask. He agrees, of course, wanting you to make the best decision for yourself.

It has been three weeks since he’s last seen you, and he’s beginning to grow restless. There’s this suspense looming in the air that’s making him anxious, but he wants to respect your time as much as possible.

You already made a decision a while back, but you just weren’t sure how to approach him, considering you haven’t seen him at all. You decided to visit Sakusa for some advice, but life has a funny way of bringing people together.

The bus left early, so you missed it and ended up just walking to his house. It was 30 minutes away walking, but you were sure he’d give you a ride back home.

Unfortunately, you didn’t check the weather before you left, and a light drizzle starts before you’re even halfway there. You hope that you’ll make it before the rain gets any heavier. There’s still 15 minutes left, and the rain starts to pour. You get under a restaurant's little overhang and shake off some of the water. Its freezing and you’re a bit worried you’ll get hypothermia.

Much to your luck a sleek black car pulls up and you instantly recognize it as Sakusa’s. The passenger window rolls down to reveal Sakusa’s jacket laid neatly on the passenger’s seat. You quickly run to the car and hop in, the warm air from the car greeting you. “I was just about to come and see you.”

“Ya were?” You’re frozen because that’s not Sakusa, its Atsumu. You turn your head to face him and see a small smile on his face. It’s funny how life works. “Hiya.”

Technically, you were trying to look for Atsumu.... eventually, but you didn’t think it’d be so soon. “Hi.” You mumbled. “I thought you were Omi...”

He recoils. “HUH? Why would ya ever think that??”

You cock your head to the side. “You’re in his car, driving it, with his volleyball jacket??? What do you mean- never mind. I wanted to talk to you.” He hums and waits for you to talk and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t shitting bricks right now, but that’s inappropriate to say at the moment. “Did you mean what you said that day? At the stadium?”

His face turns serious looking at you. “Every word.”

There’s no doubt in him, not even a little, and you see that now. “Maybe it was the time we spent apart, but I think you’ve gotten more handsome as you aged Tsum.” He could die right now and be happy man, just from hearing you call him by his nickname. It was euphoric. “Maybe it was the way I always turned on the TV to the volleyball channel just to see you appear every now and then. Maybe it was the way that you confessed all those wonderful things to me that made me realize I never really stopped loving you like I always did.”

“Y/n-”

“I can’t deny that we’re much different people than we were before, but I’d like to believe deep down, we’re still just two kids who are stupidly in love with each other. Without knowing what love really means.” You touch his heart and he thinks he’s just fallen for you all over again. “But we’re adults now, with adult problems and adult feelings I think. I don’t think my age matches the way I feel, but I want to make the right decision. I can’t imagine going through the rest of my life without you, Tsum.”

Godamnit, Tsum thinks as his eyes water. You’re crying too, still wet from the rain earlier before, but he just grabs you kisses you. You are taken aback, but still melt into him, familiar and warm. Your arms go around his neck and pull back a little. “I love ya y/n. More and more everyday.”

Some years later

“Babe!” Tsum calls from the living room. “The guys are here now!” You hear all of them share greetings and shuffle into your house. You grab the birthday boy in his cute little suit and walk downstairs.

All of them lined up: Bokuto and Akashi with their little boys, Samu and his daughter in Suna’s arms, Shinsuke and Aran, Shoyo and Kageyama, Omi (albeit huddled in a corner), even Toshi and Tendo were able to make it. They all look at your son and make googly eyes at him. “Say hi Shin.” You tell him and he just babbles.

Though Shinsuke isn’t one for many words, he’s still deeply touched and honored you both chose to name your child after him. “There’s my beautiful baby boy and wife.” Tsum kisses the top of your head and takes Shin from your arms to hold him up to everyone. “He is now one so therefore he gets cake, Kita-san thank you for making the cake!”

All of you gather around to sing to baby Shin, even Omi, and put a little cake on Shin’s face. He really enjoyed that and ended up getting cake all over himself. Everyone took their turn holding him, Omi actually offered to bathe him which you were thankful for.

Atsumu watched you talk amongst the guys and he was so happy how well you got along with them. He was incredibly grateful to have been given another chance and to have this beautiful life with you. All he ever wanted was for you to be happy.

Because he loved you.

Fiz essa tradução há um bom tempo, então pode ser que tenham alguns errinhos aqui e ali. Dei uma revisada e parecia ok, mas vai saber né xD

the readyyy! mobile game may be long gone but the project isn't so here's me promoting the boys

※ Preface: this is just a simple unit rundown, I totally recommend checking out the Wiki for detailed character info!

Readyyy! Project was first announced in February 2018, and utilized a full cast of talented rookie voice actors. The mobile game was aired a year later, but announced closure in just two months, and the game stopped service on June 28th. The project, however, lives on through its music. There are a total of five units, each with a unique theme and music style.

(SP!CA) A standard prince-like five person idol unit with bright songs and vibrant choreography. The group has been reformed three times before but failed to debut; this time, under a new leader, they step onto the stage. Its members are (L->R) Azusa Konno (third year, former leader/center), Hiro Igarashi (second year), Mitsuki Kuze (second year, leader/center), Samon Nishikido (third year), Takumi Kurumizawa (second year). [Special Nu World MV]

(Just4U) A first and third year combination group with the atmosphere of a warm, but decidedly eccentric, family. Each member draws out the other's unique charms. Its members are (L->R) Tatsuma Akashi (third year, leader), Sui Yanagawa (third year), Komugi Ayasaki (first year), and Riku Orikasa (first year). [大胆不敵に恋したい (I want to fall in love fearlessly) MV]

(RayGlanZ) A unit with overwhelming charisma and talent who will settle for nothing but the best. There is a tense atmosphere between the group members, who have gathered for the sole purpose of making music. Its members are (L->R) Chihiro Usui (second year), Touya Munakata (third year, leader), and Ango Kousaka (second year). [GO NOW! MV]

(摩天ロケット/MatenRocket) A bright and high energy unit fully comprised of first years; their friendship bonds the group close together. Their unit name is a portmanteau of "skyscraper" (摩天楼/matenrou) and "rocket" (ロケット/roketto). Its members are (L->R) Soushi Fujiwara (leader), Zen Iseya, Junnosuke Sanada, and Aki Takachiho. (La-Veritta) An ethereal duo unit with a genius composer/vocalist and the lyricist that unwaveringly supports him at every turn. Revel in the harmony and ambience of their music. Its members are (L->R) Genshin Shimizu (second year, lyricist) and Uta Kamijou (third year, composer, leader). [BEAT IN LOVE MV]

A3! OUTFITS TOURNAMENT INTEREST FORM RESULTS

thank you for filling in the interest form! based on the results of the form and the polls i did here, here's how the tournament will go:

FINALISED CATEGORIES

spring outfits

mankai encore outfits (the majority voted for mankai encore to replace the students' uniforms in this poll)

trajectory of blooming (threw this in bc i wanted an even total number of categories)

other characters (izumi, matsukawa, kamekichi [non-negotiable], godza, 1st gen mankai etc. i'll put the full list under the cut)

ROUND 0.5

there will be a round 0.5 for those with two rehearsal outfits to determine which one will represent them in round 1 of the rehearsal outfits category (e.g. sakuya HS rehearsal vs sakuya post-HS rehearsal). also 64% of y'all in the interest form wanted itaru's gamer outfit to fight his spring outfit so that's also gonna happen in round 0.5

round 0.5 polls will start on 22 April 2023, 3am PDT. each poll will be up for 24 hours so please drop your vote asap!

CONTESTANT PAIRINGS

an overwhelming majority of 80% wanted me to randomise the contestants' pairings in the brackets so this is what i have:

(i know some of the pairings like yuki-muku, guy-citron, and azami-sakyo look too coincidental (the fact that they're all consecutive too wtf??) but i promise i really did randomise it I HAVE PROOF)

(look there's no way i could've come up with chikage vs omi or homare vs juza on my own so pls believe me 😭)

basically for round 3 on each side, there'll be 3 guys going up against each other. based on the results of this poll, i'll put the 3 guys in a poll together, then take the 2 guys with the most votes and pit them against each other in round 4 aka the semi-finals to determine who will go on to the finals. this will be standard across all the categories that have all 24 lads.

as for hAve A greAt trip, since there were only 20 guys in that event i've decided to shuffle everyone again. the pairings:

this might be a little confusing (i've never despised odd numbers so much till creating the brackets for this tournament) so i'll do my best to explain

for round 2, there will be 3 guys in the red circle going up against each other (do NOT judge my circles i did my best with my mouse). i'll take the 2 guys with the most votes from the red circle and pit them against the winner from the blue circle. this will result in the 3 guys in the green circle. once more, i will take the 2 guys with the most votes from the green circle and pit them against each other in the finals (in yellow).

OTHER CHARACTERS

80% of you guys wanted a separate category for the other characters so here's the list of who will be appearing (including suggestions from you guys):

mankai non-acting staff: izumi, matsukawa, kamekichi (this is non-negotiable), tetsuro, rento, and akashi

1st gen mankai (yukio, yuzo, kasumi, hiro, zen, and syu)

mankai ensemble cast: iku, arata, eiji, miki, akito, takuya, ichiro, julian, kengo, yuichi, tsubasa, and keita

godza: reni, haruto, shift, madoka

hyakka company: kabuto amadate, aoshi shikagawa, and keiju amadate

gekkagumi: august and july

sakoda

mankai siblings: fuyuki takato, tadoru minagi, meguru minagi, tangerine, mika (i know mika's technically not related to citron and tangerine but i'm putting him here bc in my heart they are family)

mankai members' friends: mizuno, tonooka (i'm being generous by calling him a friend tbh, nachi, and ryo

recurring etude event rivals: hikaru karasuma, puck, aaron

i'll post the 'others' bracket closer to when we've cleared the main 24's categories. once we have our winner from all 10 categories, we'll proceed on to the finals

RULES

be nice. you can roast the characters' fashion choices to your heart's content but don't drag the characters themselves, and definitely don't be a dick to other voters. this is just for fun so let's keep this friendly and respectful <3
