So like in my head, personality wise, Tangerine and Orange are the most what you see is what you get, while Navel and Citron think more about how they are presenting. Like yea they're all princes and know how to be proper princes and whatever royalty does but I feel that in general, Citron and Navel are most aware of how they're being precieved and most likely to try to present differently.
Like we all know Citron, but I think Navel tries very hard to not be childish. Like I have practically nothing to back that up besides the vibe I get that he's definitely more !/warm than Orange but ye those are the vibes I get from him, he's naturally childish but tries to hide it. Or something like that.

Hello! Reblogging is never obnoxious! It's lovely! Thank you! But sadly my hand is already occupied... I've been married for (scratches head and counts on fingers) over eighteen years!
I'm very pleased that you love my art, though. And yes, as you said in one of your non-obnoxious reblogs, a lot of it is drawn with vine/willow charcoal on newsprint, which is very swishy (technical term) and very cheap. I also use different types of pastels - pastel pencil, hard pastel, cheap rubbishy pastels and sonetimes very expensive soft pastel - I've been insisting on art supply vouchers for Christmas and birthday for a couple of years now so my supplies have built up!
I like crayon too and oil pastels, but charcoal's always my favourite - vine, pencil and compressed. Oh, and I nearly always use an overhand grip. I can't bear holding anything in a writing grip and making little itchy-scritchy marks - it has to be swooshy lines and curves and flicks and scrubbing and then mushing it up with my fingers. Very messy and lovely.
What you see in my posts, though, only represents a small fraction of what I draw. I order newsprint and cheap construction paper in big stacks of five hundred sheets (A3 and A2 size) and I have piles and piles of awkward, floundering, strangely-shaped figure drawings and portraits - a potential avalanche of lovely, messy rubbish that I have to work through to progress.
In fact, it's time to neglect various houseworky things now and do some more drawing! Yay!

Maria Fuwa AUSPICE+ Review
My life is getting busier, with my birthday, work, and a multi-country vacation coming up! That’s why I’ve been writing these so quickly. I reviewed Maria last year, and was asked to look at her again, with her newest voicebank. You all know how much I love her, so this one might be a little more positive than usual!! Maria’s voice type and tone has mostly stayed the same, it’s the small things that have changed.

Bio
Name: 不破マリア (Fuwa Maria)
Age: "20" y.o.
Gender: Fluid
Height: 5'5" (165 cm)
A pyromancer infamous for her unmatched prowess in robot matches. Maria is an extremely competitive person and prioritizes winning above all else. Surprisingly enough, she's no sore loser (or so she claims). She's rather "humble" in contrast to her aggressively competitive nature, but she would always demand a rematch when the opportunity strikes.

The full version of AUSPICE voicebank is 945 MB when unzipped and has fully generated frq files. AUSPICE is multiple appends put together, so for a smaller file there are separate download options.
First Impressions
This Maria is intended to be the penultimate version of her. She comes with a set of normal, Soft, and Power pitches as well as Whisper and Screamo appends named Spirit and Howl. I also like the addition of different designs/icons for each append. It’s very cute.
Configuration
Maria is a VCV with each set(Normal, Soft and Power) recorded at A3, D4, F4, and G4. The G3 pitch from Ifrit is omitted, but her low range doesn’t suffer that much for it. Maria isn’t even meant to sing in tenor and lower ranges, so I have no issue with this. Spirit and Howl are monopitch and at F4 and C3 respectively. There are VC endings, and CV aliases. She’s sort of usable as a CVVC, but few would probably choose to use her that way over VCV. VC endings help for added realism though. She comes with glottal stops and vocal fry for all vowel combos, end breaths/inhales, and standalone breaths. The standalone breaths don’t sound very good in the program.
There tends to be a lot of room between different syllables and long consonants. She does have a westernized accent but not a talking tone like overseas UTAUs tend to have. To fix this, setting the consonant velocity to less than 100 sometimes helps.
With more than 20,000 oto lines, it also take a while to get into voicebank settings/view the oto. That’s more a fault of UTAU itself than Maria, though. The oto uses a usual 1:3 ratio of 80:240 for preutter/overlap. This also goes for the VC endings. The samples feel a bit cut off and it removes some of the uniqueness from the power append, but I can see why this was done.
Her power append is a more natural sort of power and not screaming/shouting like a lot of other UTAUs go for. It does cause the normal and power pitches to sound a little similar, but listening enough reveals a clear difference.
Spirit and Howl are interesting, the screamo append is recorded in a lower register which I’ve never seen before. They both require the use of tn_fnds in order to draw out their intended sound but TIPS is an okay substitute. Spirit is so quiet it’s often tough to integrate with the other pitches, even the soft ones.

Maria may have changed but she is still peak UTAU. She deserves to be used more, and I don’t say that a lot.

Muku had no idea what he was going to do. He had been panicking all week and even had tried getting advice from the other members of the shoujo manga club. He wanted Azami’s birthday date to be absolutely perfect. Well, as close to perfect as Muku could get to.
His plans weren’t anything major. Just a simple trip to a local cafe and a butterfly garden Homare had recommended to him. Muku wanted to scrap his entire plan, but he felt it was too late now. He wasn’t going to chicken out now. He would hate himself much later.
With each passing day, Muku made sure to double and triple check that things would be fine. He had saved up his earned money to buy one of the makeup pallets he had seen Azami eying a while back. He didn’t understand why he hadn’t purchased it then, but after finding out the price tag he knew why. Muku didn’t understand why something would be this expensive, but had decided it would be a perfect gift. He knew Azami “hated” it when Muku spoiled him, but the blush on his face was worth it every single time.
Azami’s birthday eventually approached and Muku could feel himself getting nervous. They had been going out for a couple of months now, but it seemed to never get easier. He would be fine. It would be the same as all of their other dates; it just happened to be Azami’s birthday this time. Nothing major about that. Just some alone time. He could do this.
Muku spent the morning making himself look nice but not enough to overdo it; this was a casual thing after all. He had finished making himself presentable and went to get Azami.
He was already waiting by the door by the time Muku reached the common area.
“Did you wait long?”
“Nah, I just got here so don’t worry about it. And don’t kick yourself mentally about it. I know how you are.” A soft smile made its way onto Azami’s face.
“Let’s get going, okay?”
“Alright.”
They arrived and things had gone pretty well. Nothing too exciting had happened. Azami did try to pay for his own piece of cake, but Muku said he had it handled. He was the birthday boy, after all. Azami should let himself be doted on more. There was no need to try and act older all of the time.
They didn’t spend too much time there at the small cafe. Muku could feel his heart rate increase as they got closer to the main focus of today: the butterfly garden. He had paid for two tickets in advance to avoid Azami trying to convince Muku he could pay for himself. Azami was very stubborn when he wanted to be.
Taking Azami’s hand, he showed him around the garden. He heard the other sputter and mutter something along the lines of “being so shameless in public.” Muku knew he didn’t mean anything by it. They spent most of the day looking at the various information plaques and trying to see if they could find the butterfly the other named. It had turned into a sort of game. They weren’t counting any points, but there was a small streak of competitiveness. Neither wanted to lose to the other, even if it was over some butterflies.
As their day started to slow down, Muku remembered about the makeup palette that had been in his small shoulder bag. He decided that this was probably the best time to give it to Azami. It was nice and quiet on the bench they were sitting on. Okay, Muku, it’s now or never. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out the gift that had been wrapped in baby blue paper. It wasn’t a lot, but it was all he had on hand.
“I got you this,” he said excitedly. “I know you said that I didn’t have to get you anything, but I still wanted to get you something and-” Azami flicked him in the forehead, cutting his ramblings short.
“I thought I told you to stop that. It’s fine.” He took the gift from Muku’s outstretched hand, slowly unwrapping it. He could see Azami’s eyes light up and he started to recognize the reflective color of the makeup palette.
“Muku, how much did you spend on this?”
“It’s not a big deal, I promise! I saw you eyeing it a while ago and did an assortment of odd jobs to save up for it.”
“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” Azami took Muku’s and kissed his knuckles. It wasn’t like Azami to be like this. It was such a small gesture, but he could feel his face and ears flush.

Vanilla by Kai is especially great 👀 but for real, writing vanilla makes your fics a bit more accessible to people who don't like hardcore stuff, but obviously it's up to the authors. I think some can't write interesting sex scenes so they opt for something shocking.
