#em draws stuff #em is posting about temeraire #temeraire #temeraire worldbuilding collection #did you like those guys from the last picture? here they are again :)#at this point I feel like I should have be oc tagging five deer and cipachcoatzin just for organizational purposes #but if I don't then I can pretend I can stop drawing them...#<- He Has Ideas For At Least One More Picture and Other People And Dragons They Know #if you want to see what five deer is drawing then turn your eyeballs to my previous drawing of them!#after finishing that one I wanted to figure out what cipachcoatzin looked like outside of the super stylized depiction - here he is!#also lacking any other ideas I've decided that's his name now. my classical nahuatl is So So So Beginner but I'm Trying #(cipactli [caiman] + glottal stop + coatl [snake] + tzin [honorific suffix]...#...or cipactli [caiman] + ton [diminutive suffix you might use for a kid])#haven't come up with a personal name for five deer yet but what with naming other characters they'll interact with my abilities Do run out #so that can be a work in progress #pretty pleased with how this turned out especially cipachcoatzin's little obsidian mirror-ornaments #the background and color scheme is Heavily based on luis covarrubias' 'view of the valley of mexico'#but maybe I can manage some more urban settings for them or the other characters in future pictures

(Whoops my hand slipped and started writing a Batfam Umbrella Academy AU)

From the Personal Notes of Mr. Bruce Wayne:

00.01 - Ability to manipulate gravitational fields allows for advanced gymnastic and combat capabilities. A strong leader, the others look up to him. Loyal to a fault, but needs to be watched carefully. Will choose the other children over himself or me.

00.02 - Determined, focused, strong willed. Has learned to use her ability to analyze the surroundings and formulate a plan prior to attack. Unfortunately lacks any leadership qualities and fails to communicate these plans to the team, preferring to act alone. Still has much to learn, but is eager to do so. My favorite.

00.03 - Adequate marksmanship and proficiency with ranged weapons. Can hold his own in a fight but relies to heavily on his powers. Insolent, can not take instruction or direction. His recklessness will be his undoing.

00.04 - Development of photokinesis is hindered by his unwillingness to fully commit to manipulating shadows as well as light. Charming and a neutral leader. Should Number 1 ever fail, he would be the best choice to replace him.

00.05 - Connection to animals has yet to prove useful. Fighting skills and determination on par with Number 2, but is unpredictable at best. Refuses to admit when he doesn’t know something. Has no respect for anyone but himself.

00.06 - Still fails to reach the full potential of psychometry abilities. Refuses to accept the possibility that he may be able to see into the future as well as the past. Useful for research and not much else.

00.07 - No clear talents. Some enthusiasm for puzzles and mediocre problem solving abilities. To headstrong. Irritating.

I think the model Sonic has in the HD mario and sonic olympics games is underrated He actually looks somewhat endearing here I like his normal face and shiny eyes. Unfortunately it's difficult to find good pictures of it because there's no renders with it just the same generic model they've used for all sonic renders for like 15 years...so these example pictures are terrible.

#i know the side mouth matches the 2d stylization but with the model they usually use they literally don't let him have a normal mouth ever #And it looks weird and stupid and they have to animate him weird to compensate for his weird face.#on this one it's always in the middle again and when i went to look up pictures of it i found people saying that it looks weird but like.#This was how sonic looked in every 3d game before unleashed. Clarice : How are you so sure of this?

Nick : Because I'm investigating this case! My main suspect is Salim!

Joey : It's ok! But there's no proof that it's him, right? So for now let's just skip it!

Nick : Do we need proof??

Clarice : Of course yes, idiot! If not, we may vote for the wrong person.

Salim : I just don't understand why you don't like me.

Nick : I know you are the impostor! And if that's the case I really don't like you.

[ Everyone was doing their tasks, right? But someone sneaked into the ventilation and is now sneaking in there. oh no! He is sabotaging the ship]

[Everyone goes towards sabotage, and luckily they manage to do it before the ship explodes. How lucky! Then before they can breathe a sigh of relief a body falls among them all]

merwin: Oh fuck!

Rachel : Looks like we have a new corpse on our hands...

Jason : Oh God and now?

Joey : Let's report!

I need help. I haven’t asked in awhile for a lot of reasons, and things are finally on the upswing with the new job, but I’m paying rent on two places now, as well as moving costs, I won’t see commissions on my sales until the season starts and I have $13 in the bank. I owe a friend $500 I can’t give him. I emptied my account to pay the rent and utilities, and I’m just. I’m bled dry

I’ve been saying things will get better for awhile now, and I finally believe that they truly will, but the question has now become, can I hold on until they do

Simon’s book is 2/3 done, and given a fair wind and a following sea, I could have it completed in a month. But instead I’m drowning. Every atom of energy is focused on keeping us alive, and that tends to burn out creativity really fucking fast

I have a couple copies of Power Play and Blindside Hit, and a credit with Stamps.com. If anyone would be able to help, I would be honored to mail you an autographed copy of either book
