One last post, this one about the disk horse itself

My posts, at the very least, are about Kipperlilly’s motivations

it might be romantic or it might be platonic, but Lucy was the one person Kipperlilly seemed to actually care about. And it being the love of the bestie or wanting to wife her is really beside the point bc either way Kipperlilly would be motivated to want her back

It certainly doesn’t matter if it’s reciprocated. Lucy might’ve just been trying to placate the mean girl in their group. Lucy might have despised Kipperlilly. She also might have been writing “KC+LF” in hearts in her notebooks. Whatever Lucy’s feelings, when presented with the choice of “stay dead and have your soul trapped” vs “come back to life and serve a rage god of the Hells” she chose to stay dead. Anything else is us projecting/coming up with fun stories

Kipperlilly was a kinda boring girl with shitty opinions. An entitled brat. But one that came up with the name “High Five Heroes”. And shitty entitled brats can have their worldview rocked and turn out okay later. We know she’s not uncomplicatedly good. I think that her being uncomplicatedly bad, knowing Brennan and the stories he tends to tell, is unlikely.

Hate her all you want. Let that righteous rage of Ankarna flow through you. Love her all you want. You might be falling prey to the Mastermind. Ship her like FedEx. I’m not your mom.

Anyway, that’s a lot of words to say that we still don’t have the whole story and it is just that, a story.

Seeing Sam stans outright saying who cares about queer erasure and erasure of found family because only platonic bonds are important and romantic love doesn’t matter and only Sam and Dean’s bond matters and then claiming their viewpoints are progressive.

Can they just SHUT UP already why do they hate found family so much why do they hate queerness being in spn so much why are they so obnoxiously fake and superior about their toxic anti-romance performative nonsense because we know they actually do ship things on other shows and they’re such liars about being too good to ship—they just hate that Dean actually loves (platonically or romantically and not just Cas but all his friends) anyone except Sam and so they despise found family and queerness has to be buried because Dean and Cas loving each other like that is too much closeness and so they feel deeply threatened.

The virtue signaling to try to dress their views up as progressive is honestly sickening they need to SHUT UP ALREADY

This is old news by now I’m sure but I’m rewatching MHA S5 and listen. Listen. The reason Izuku manifested blackwhip is because Monoma went after not just Bakugo, but the very thing Izuku knows Bakugo feels genuine, heart-wrenching remorse for: indirectly being the reason All Might had to retire.

Monoma goes for Bakugo in front of Midoriya, goes for the throat without even knowing how vicious his words are, and it backfires spectacularly because the rage Izuku feels on Bakugo’s behalf is what actually wakes OFA up.

And the takeaway is that what’s in Izuku’s heart is the most important thing to control? What’s in his heart is what will help him master OFA? Hello??! It’s Katsuki. It’s Katsuki in there. Platonically or romantically, it doesn’t matter, Midoriya Izuku loves Bakugo Katsuki.

thinking about a red-faced nineteen year old lando norris shaking the hand of an amused twenty-five year old carlos sainz jr and them watching each other in some mclaren technology center conference room, having absolutely no idea how hard they’d fall in love with each other. no idea about brazil, no idea about austria, about monaco, about singapore.

Alenoah World Tour story idea

Same idea as any other World Tour Alenoah AU but Alejandro’s flirting and charm actually doesn’t work on Noah. Not “Noah pretends like it’s doesn’t effect him,” but genuinely “Noah is not effected.”

It drives Alejandro crazy. No one has ever been able to resist his charms! Not even Heather, no matter how much she denies it. It’s even worse because Noah is gay so it’s not the issue of sexuality, and even then, sexuality was never really an issue. So why did his charm not work on him???

It turns from Alejandro trying to manipulate Noah to Alejandro becoming obsessed with Noah. Every chance he gets, he flirts with him, trying to get a reaction. And every time, he gets shot down. Some of the other contestants are jealous that Noah is getting so much attention from Alejandro and he doesn’t care, while others find it absolutely hilarious and use it to make Alejandro jealous/get on his nerves. (It works every time)

To make matters worse, Noah seems to enjoy the attention from no one but Owen. So it drives Alejandro’s hatred for Owen even further.

I’m the end, it turns out that Noah does like Alejandro. He feels like he can be honest with Alejandro and doesn’t need to sugarcoat or keep quiet about his actual thoughts. But he knew that Alejandro flirted with people to manipulate them so he just chose not to react to it or to shoot him down until he was sure that Alejandro actually meant what he said (if he ever did which he reeeaaally does).

i was talking to someone earlier today about bbc merlin, and it hit me how much it still hurt to know that arthur is gone - temporarily of course - but i am still waiting for him to revive and find everything about our modern world to be magical and fantastical. still waiting for him to turn to merlin and say, “this world is perfect for you,” and for merlin to shake his head, holding arthur’s hand.

he says to him, teary eyed, that his perfect world is one where he can be with arthur.

and then arthur tells merlin he’s “such a girl” and they laugh.

So I made a post a while ago:

basically talking about my favorite dynamic between Jonathan and Steve.

No I’m going to inform you all of my 2nd favorite; one-sided stonathan.

I’m not really looking at this in a romantic sense, but you can if you want. I do ship stonathan romantically sometimes but I mostly stick with platonic/brotherly stonathan.

So to sum it up:

Steve: this is my friend Jonathan! :)

Jonathan: this is Steve. I know him.

And they’re both completely oblivious to how the other views them.

Steve doesn’t realize that Jonathan wants almost nothing to do with him and in turn Jonathan doesn’t realize that Steve genuinely thinks so highly of him.

Everyone else around them sees it tho, and they all try to tell them but neither want to listen.

It isn’t until Nancy corners Steve and Robin corners Jonathan that yeah, they both get it.

And then it’s a sense of hurt/comfort with Steve realizing/thinking “damn, Jonathan really wanted nothing to do with me. He must really fucking hate me cause of how I pushed his boundaries”.

And then Jonathan on the verge of going fucking insane because “holy shit Steve’s actually like one of my best friends and I’ve just been treating him like shit he must really fucking hate me”.

And it’s usually El and Will and Dustin who have to hear about all this shit because their Jonathan and Steve’s respective younger siblings.

And Steve goes out of his way to avoid Jonathan because he doesn’t wanna burden him anymore than he already has but Jonathan keeps hunting him tf down and is heartbroken every time Steve leaves him in the dust.

And they keep this up until the kids (read: Will/El and Dustin) are sick and fucking tired of it and lock them in a room together until they fucking talk to each other.

But when they do become official friends (with both parties aware) their dynamic doesn’t really change much. Jonathan is still kinda “cold” and is Steve is still the one initiating most of their physical contact but Jonathan visibly leans into hugs and stuff more often than not and Steve is visibly happier.

Idk i just like stonathan :)

Thinking about how Pacific Rim focuses entirely on the importance of platonic relationships

#there’s probably something articulate and meaningful to be said about it but it makes me go insane #i think the blonds are supposed to be married? but the movie doesn’t make that clear i thought they were identical twins #i read the scripts where mako and raleigh do have an explicitly romantic relationship and it’s bad #something about having them sleep together and kiss feels like it cheapens it i don’t know how to articulate it #the bond they have in the final movie hits so different #it’s more committed than a typical platonic relationship but the distinction between platonic and romantic doesn’t matter #they just belong together!

OOOOOOH I JUST GIGGLED OUT LOUD i think their reactions would be . very fun and wildly different. like reg would be surprised at first and i don’t think he’d get it. like barty, he has this specific view of lily in his mind and he doesn’t understand how barty could’ve fallen for her in the first place and viceversa. they don’t make sense to him but he isn’t . mean or judgemental about it, i feel like none of barty’s friends would be (they’d tease him and take the piss out of him all the time tho, bc that man is Down Bad). after he actually Sees them together a couple of times he starts to get it. they shouldn’t make any sense but they do and they work surprisingly well together so . he stops questioning it at some point and is just supportive

james however. is Appalled. Baffled. Disgusted even. this might just be one of the worst things that’s ever happened to him. it’s not even about jealousy, he’s with reg (sorry it’s the jeggy obsession) and only sees lily as a friend but barty is his Least Favourite Person in existence. he already has to spend too much time around him bc he’s reg’s best friend and now??? now he’s with lily??? bc not only they get along but they’re also dating??? yeah no Fuck That

don’t get me wrong i feel like almost all of lily’s friends wouldn’t take kindly to the news at first (obviously this depends on how u portray both friend groups and their opinions of each other but to me . they never truly get along u know) but i think that they’d grow to accept it at some point. even if begrudgingly. marlene and mary at least. the jury is still out about sirius + remus + peter

but james??? oh he Hates it. and Hates it forever. he’s happy to see lily happy, yeah, but that’s about it. he’s the man who gets up in the middle of the wedding to try and oppose even if he knows there’s no stopping them (reg is incredibly embarrassed and hating his life choices and trying to get him to sit back down) (barty finds it absolutely hilarious and is delighted to know he’s causing james this much turmoil even after so many years) (lily is very much Done and this is exactly why she didn’t want to invite james) (but barty needed reg there and everyone knows that reg and james are a package deal) (anyway i digress)
