I just realised that Jason/Thalia largely parallel Nico/Bianca and now I'm sobbing. Remember in the ending of lost hero? Jason was anxiously waiting for Thalia to join the chb meeting saying "She promised, after all" he sounded just like a little Nico saying "where is my sister?"

Jason Grace , the high and mighty leader of Rome becoming such a soft lil bro to Thalia is just so heartbreaking and adorable :( the moment he saw her face he immediately knew she was family, he took her hand when she offered it to him with zero hesitation and hugged her, was enraged after she was turned into an ice statue, and was deeply pained when he found out she had a whole new life without him and that she most likely won't need him anymore but all the while still desperately wanting her to be there with him in chb, for moral support. Gosh he's such a puppy :')

Thalia was also SUCH a soft older sis too, there's this passage in the lost hero where jason went "But we've barely talked" bc she said she had to leave and her eyes soften at his kicked-puppy face. Also the only thing that calmed Thalia from blowing up at juno was jason grabbing her hand and calling her "sis" UGHH THEY ARE BOTH SO SOFT

happy valentines day everyone! i am still single (taken by my bed actually) but it still doesn't stop me from joining two valentine collabs! this is one of them hosted by @sploinky-doinkly-shrooms in which we draw dr ships in weddings! and of course i have to draw my fav goths (that i ship for some reason) in a goth wedding! i remember being really proud of this when i finished and honestly it's still a pretty good piece, sadly because of the angles not a lot of the outfit designs showed but hey at least i have a concept sketch lol, and i followed a hack on yt for the stained glass window which actually looks pretty good so yay! hope you guys like this lol i'm here to feed the smol but amazing kirukiyo nation

Sometimes I like to think about how it must have felt for Jon when he listened to the tape of Melanie & Basira gossiping and he found out Martin liked him. Because that was in s3, when pretty much everyone was against him. Think about that. Tim was too far into despair and was angry with Jon, Basira & Daisy both viewed him as a threat, Melanie hated him so much she wanted him to die, Georgie was taking distance because she didn't want to get involved and Jon was slowly losing his humanity to the eye. He was terrified of turning into a monster, everyone treated him like he already was one, and then he listened to that tape, and he found out that there was one person out there that still loved him despite all of that. That even now Martin still cared enough to defend him and didn't see him as a monster even when Jon himself had believed it wouldn't matter if he died. I can't even imagine how incredibly loved Jon must've felt knowing that someone could love him after so much pain and horror. That's why I love his change in attitude towards Martin in s4. Because now he's not just fighting because he feels it's his responsibility to stop the fears because he thinks it's his fault, but he now has someone to fight for. There is someone that still sees the humanity in him and that is enough for him to keep trying to prove Martin that even if he's an avatar of the eye, he is still capable of loving and caring.

I think Sonic’s issue in this debate is that he just assumes that fixing the Paradox Prism will fix everything when in true it would take a lot more than that.

The shatterverses despite being mirrors of his world are unique and with their own stories, he has made various promises in each of them to help them out but he just seems to believe that once the prism is fixed it would all be back to normal for each of those worlds.

I also think that given that Sonic is reminded often by his memories that he was the one to cause his world to be a ghost he unconsciously thinks that the other shatterverses are an extension of this mistake and need to be fixed in the same way.

So despite how much his final argument with Nine saddened me, he DID need that slap. All worlds deserve to be saved but they won’t all be saved on the same manner, is a lot more pressure than he originally thought.

Sonic has always been impulsive and he has always been one to see the solution of a problem as an exciting adventurous path yet in his terms, a simple one.

Even in X when everyone was brought to the human world he didn’t even worry.

He won’t let the other worlds disappear after everything that’s happened, I just can’t see it, that’s a bad ending. And Sonic main thing is freedom, he won’t let that happen.

Here a little theory, it was implied that the reason why Shadow wasn’t shattered like the others were was because he had been carrying the chaos emerald. The emerald fell to the darkness in the void, I don’t think that was just a simple thing to add on the chapter

I’m sure the emerald and the darkness will certainly come back to the plot as well as why Shadow can’t enter the shatterverses and Sonic can. I can’t be possibly just a main character thing, there MUST be a reason just like why in Frontiers Sonic was the only one free

Do I have blind faith in Sonic at this point? Maybe. Will that stop me from believing in him? Huh nah.

The series was first presented as road of redemption, which I’m sure Sonic will get.

In conclusion, he’s not selfish, he’s just not stopping to think things through, it also hasn’t helped that he hasn’t catch a break since this whole mess started

Disclaimer: I’m saying that Nine was absolutely right about taking that out on Sonic, he will be an antagonist now but I don’t think he’s a villain, he’s just broken.

He deserves better. And I know Sonic will be better for him, I just do.
