an interesting thing abt jgy antis is like. where is the source of their, shall we say, negative opinion of jgy? like, 1. jgy is a villain, he does horrible things with no remorse, he’s willing to do everything to achieve his selfish, egotistical goals. --> 2. the source of this claim: this, this and this scene. --> 3. alright, but to me -- says someone who’s not an anti -- this reads differently. that he did all those things, and did them on purpose and without remorse, is not that obvious to me. why do you think that? --> 4. well, obviously because he’s a villain and does horrible things with no remorse.

but more importantly b) for nano 2019 i wrote like 20-30k of a vm ava's demon au, didn't finish it, don't know if i will, but would people be interested in that if i polished it up a bit?

#it's over three years old so i am a bit looking at it and going oh i can write way better now #but also it does still have some great moments and concepts in it i just never posted it bc i hate abandoning works halfway through #and i wanted this to be done or not done #but either way it's still like 30k more than you'd get otherwise so im curious if people would read it #if you're not familiar with ava's demon it's a sci fi/fantasy webcomic with gorgeous art set in the far future #with a bit of horror and themes of identity and anticapitalism #the basic premise is that in order to try and win a losing war against an all powerful galactic empire #several rulers of conquered planets developed a powerful curse - which would kill them in their existing bodies #but bind their souls to the next soul anywhere in the universe to be born #and the doubled souls in one being means great amounts of power #but the story is set 15 years after that #which means it focuses on 4 (and later 7) teenagers who've grown up with angry ghosts in their head all of whom have different motivations #and. well. everyone in vm has an associated god except percy and that's fine he's brought his own
