A detective with excellent hearing and a knack for discerning truth from lies. Soft spoken in public and a little crass when alone, Vincent has learnt many secrets that he plans to take to the grave. Occasionally, he visits Night Raven College to assist the Headmage in whatever little tasks he has and, if lucky, gets a few students who require his help. Is currently investigating alternative dimensions for the Headmage and while he personally doesn't believe in it, he's looking into it regardless.

Headmage Crowley 🪶 and Divus Crewel 🐩

Vincent's more famous cases has made him Crowley's go to person when in need of help. Somehow, Vincent owes the crow a few favors and he visits to return them and get some extra pay. Crewel is a man Vincent has gone to either for intel or for a no strings attached night he'd never forget. Since moving back from Uncanny Valley, Vincent has only gone to him purely for intel.

Charlie Blake 💔 and Buddy Rumbletumble 📰

Vincent has looked into Charlie's parents numerous times; it's what forced him to flee the Valley. Charlie doesn't hold any ill will towards the detective but Vincent would rather not be connected to Charlie in any way less his dads get ahold of the information. Vincent doesn't know Buddy exists but he's unintentionally became the aspiring journalist's role model.

Rank your ocs on how much they can handle alcohol

Okay I’m gonna do whoever comes to mind for this-

Shaw: 8/10, the man’s liver has survived a Lot bc of drinking contests to grind jade, so while he’s not functionally immune, he’s doing pretty good. Not a good person to drink with if he actually does get lost in the sauce though he gets so sad.

B: ??/10, only really drinks socially. It’s hard to tell when they actually get drunk, as they’re very good at acting sober, but it usually culminates in trying to steal their host’s pets.

Beverley: 4/10, his size is his only advantage. Alcohol only really makes him sleepy, though. King of passing out, and passing out hard.

Vivian: 6.5/10, can handle her drink pretty well, but also loses all concept of her own mortality while drunk. Prone to bitching about her ex husband and then trying to do something stupid.

Vincent: 8/10. He’s extremely good at pretending to be drunk, but hasn’t gotten properly hammered in years.

Frost: Got white girl wasted off Hell Made Singapore Slings during the war and hasn’t been affected by human alcohol since. No, he doesn’t know why either.

13. Do they enjoy poetry?

Ellen finds a lot of comfort in poetry. Her tastes tend to lean toward the traditional - Emily Dickinson, W.B. Yeats, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Robert Frost - but she also loves e.e. cummings on the more avant guard side of things. I think she would read poems to her students and have them draw pictures of what they think the poem represents and have them write their own poems, too.

25. Do they have a daily/nightly routine?

As organized as Ellen is, I don't think she has a minute-by minute breakdown for her morning or routine. Ellen's most imporant part of the morning is coffee, black. She has a few more things she does every evening. She likes to have her bag with her grading right by the door, ready to go. She makes her lunch and picks out her outfit for the next day before bed. She takes a bath in the evening to save time in the morning, and she always applies Pond's cold cream to her face and hands. And she usually reads before bed, because it takes her a bit to unwind and clear her head.

35. Do they believe in fate or are they in charge of their own destiny?

Ellen is Team Charge of Your Own Destiny, but she has wondered if fate played a hand in her walking into Chuck's shop that day. There was no reason for her to walk that route home, or for her to try the door when the store looked close.

Earlier Eve and I were talking about my ocs and he mentioned Flamberge maybe being Vincent’s killer and I think that’s equal parts fucked up and ironic because Frost would basically go “I’m blaming my 11 year old son for this and will put him through so many emotional saw traps. But my husband’s killer IS kinda hot so they’re off the hook. I’m going to make my son raise our daughter later”. Truly Frost gets worse in every draft /hj

A Future as Bright as the Sun and Stars

Thoughts about Morgen and Josele's wedding and their life if they got their happily ever after.

Thomas tries to walk Josele down the aisle but with his bad leg (hunting injury), he can't make it the whole way. Josele walks the rest of the way on her own.

Yami, one of Morgen's groomsmen, almost objects to the wedding but is silenced by William and Nacht.

Discordia, Charlotte, and Rachel (from Driftwood Desserts) are Josele's bridemaids.

Morgen kisses Josele on the lips before the priest gives the go ahead. The audience all laugh about how much Morgen adores his bride/wife.

After Josele and Morgen have their first dance as husband and wife, Josele dances with people like her father, Nacht, and Yami. William and Discordia also get a dance with her.

Charlotte is the one to catch the bouquet when its tossed but she quickly shoves it into someone else's hands. And that someone is Yami... 👀

The wedding cake is three layers: two vanilla and one strawberry. The frosting is buttercream. There's one or two pieces of Gladis' sugar art displayed at the wedding as well.

At the wedding, Josele whispers to Morgen that she suspects she might already be pregnant.

Josele moves into the Faust Manor after the wedding. She and Morgen still have their rooms at the Grey Deer base but Josele is officially part of House Faust (no matter how much Vincent and Adela hate it).

At the same time Yami and William get their own squads, Morgen would become the captain of the Grey Deer squad. He immediately makes Josele his vice captain.

Morgen is considered as a top candidate for Wizard King alongside William, Fuegoleon, and Nozel.

Morgen mostly deals with the work that's done while behind a desk. He sorts mission reports and attends meetings. He coordinates missions for the squad members.

Josele's main job as the vice captain of the squad is training the squad members. She mentors new recruits, guiding them through their first mission and then teaming them up with older members who she believes will help them grow.

Josele encourages physical exercise as well as honing one's magic to the squad.

The Aqua Deer squad thrives with Morgen and Josele at the helm. They make sure that everyone does their best in work but also encourages their Magic Knights to enjoy themselves outside of the job.

One time, someone suggested that Josele became vice captain only because she is Morgen's wife. One duel later, the person retracted their statement.

The members of the Aqua Deer and even other squads often go to Morgen and Josele for relationship advice.

Josele and Morgen sometimes get into heated discussions. And a trick that the squad members have learned to get them to calm down is to yell "Just make out already!" It embarrasses the couple and makes them think more clearly.

While their jobs keep them busy and don't make it possible to have every meal together, Josele and Morgen always have at least one meal together in a day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a snack break, they like to share their meals.

They try to have a date every two weeks. Nothing major but at least something like trip to a cafe for drinks or a walk through the manor gardens.

For their first anniversary, they took a weekend off to spend at a private beach house. No captain duties, no Magic Knight duties whatsoever, and no one else (except maybe their child[ren] if Josele's pregnancy suspicion was right).

Morgen and Josele's future kids would consist of 5 sons and 2 daughters.

They kept having sons and only stopped when the daughters (twins) were finally born. Although they would've agree to stop at 10 if the boys just kept coming.

Morgen is not the best parent at first. He has to do a lot of reading and practice with Josele before he gets the hang of it.

Bless this man. He loves his kids with all of his heart. But when he sees his firstborn right when he was fresh out in the world, he definitely loses consciousness for a few seconds. He was told there'd be blood but he didn't expect the baby to look as bad as they did.

It's through sheer determination that Morgen learns and becomes the best parent to his children.

Josele isn't perfect either. While she knows her way around kids, she's hesitant to smother them. She tends to their needs of course but she doesn't feel comfortable "spoiling" them for a long while.

Morgen reminds her that she should give their children what she lacked growing up and what she lacked was parental doting. And that gets her to change.

Each and every child would develop at least one healing spell, regardless of their attribute. Such a kind magic is in their blood.

Josele would also teach the children how to use weapons and Morgen would help them find an artistic outlet (music, poetry, drawing, anything).

Josele and Morgen are "Mama" and "Papa" to their kids, no matter how old they get.

On each of the children's birthdays, the birthday child(ren) always receive their first gift under their bed. They ask Morgen and Josele why they put the first present under the bed and the parents answer that they don't put it there.

Sorry, it took me awhile to answer your question. I added it to my drafts to make a more elaborate answer and forgot it while I was working on Dani's (@missameliep) birthday gift 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, I have lots of OCs, so I chose three among them so I don't get too carried away and make this post longer than it already is 😅

Alisha (D&D OC) is a chef, so she's more into homemade food than industrialized stuff. She likes all kinds of snacks (pretzels, donuts, potato chips, etc), but she always has some dried fruits with her. They're sweet, the have all the necessary nutrients we need from a fruit and she can carry them on her bag to eat along the day. Her favorite is dried damask because its taste and texture reminds her of a candy.

Her favorite dessert are cupcakes. She is fascinated by cakes and the first recipe she learned were cupcakes. They are an opportunity to be creative with the flavors and make beautiful frosting decorations.

Her favorite main dish is murgh makhani (a.k.a butter chicken). Alisha left India to live with her adoptive parents at a very young age and since she spent most of her life there in a poor orphanage, she doesn't remember much of Indian dishes. Her parents, however, are loving people who encouraged her to remain close to her roots. One day her mother asked the cook to prepare murgh makhani for lunch and Alisha loved its creamy texture enriched with spices. Whenever she finds an Indian restaurant or goes to India, she always asks for it.

As a bonus, I also chose a drink for each of them and Alisha's is Sharbat (or Bombay lemonade), a lemonade that also has some spices and black salt. It's perfect for summer days, but she drinks it regardless of the weather or season.

Daphne (D&D MC) loves food, but she can barely boil an egg 😂 Luckily, she doesn't have to cook, so she can simply appreciate the dishes. Lo Mein is her favorite dish and comfort food. It reminds her of childhood and the wonderful smell coming from the kitchen whenever her mother or grandma were cooking.

Her two favorite snacks are popcorn and licorice. Shockingly (lol), she can make a nice bowl of popcorn, but she often chooses licorice because she can carry it on her bag and eat whenever she's a bit hungry, but not hungry enough to order food or have her roommate or boyfriend to cook for her. She carries big rolls of red licorice during trips and always shares them with her boyfriend.

Her favorite dessert is macarons. Her first experience with it was when she met her young brother and Harry kept pestering Lord Vincent about going to a bakery to have macarons. She had no idea of what it was and simply found it a cute cookie when she saw it. But as soon as the extremely light almond cookie filled with chocolate ganache melted into her mouth, she understood the fuss about it.

Bonus: Daphne likes to drink anything sweet, but her favorite is strawberry daiquiris. It's a plus if it's frozen, but as long as there's alcohol, sugar and strawberries, she doesn't discriminate 😂

Evelyn (OpH MC) loves homemade food, but since doctors have crazy routines, she usually eats anything that is easy to make or that she can order. On Edenbrook's vending machines, she only gets potato chips. According to her, you can't go wrong with them. Her favorite main dish is pastelón, a Puerto Rican version of lasagna she was introduced to during a family trip.

Her favorite dessert is brigadeiro. There's a heavy influence of Rafael in her eating habits, but she can't deny that those little chocolate balls or the eat straight from the pan version are so comforting during nights she's by herself, watching TV.

Her drink is beer. A cold beer, with some side snacks and good company is all she needs to unwind after work.

Floor originally started as a joke ship kid but now he's his own character. His full name is Damien Frost but he nicknamed himself Floor, no one really knows why. He's also immortal so if you wanna kill him real bad then go ahead fjbfd.

There are a few other characters that may appear here, either in pictures or just mentioned, so I'll list some of the more important ones.

Kellen & Charlie Frost: Floor's parents. Their marraige went to shit because Floor decided to exist, sorry bud.

Vincent & Spice: Floor's older siblings. They've already moved out so they don't know him very well.

Cookie Frost: Floor's half brother on Charlie's side. Doesn't know him very well.

Ramen & Malt: Floor's half brothers on Kellen's side. He doesn't originally know either of them.

Jintao Mun: Malts dad. Dating Kellen.

Lukas Falkner: Ramens dad. Previously dated Kellen, is currently dating Charlie

Noah Graves: Floor's bestie and "adoptive" Sibling. They often help Floor when he's having a tough time :]

Chidaya & Margot Graves: Noah's moms. Illegally adopted Floor because his parents don't give af about him half the time. They're cool :]

Hornet/Garage & Pistol Fawkes: Some of Floor's friends, who're also brothers. Floor has had a major crush on both of them. Pistol is dating Noah.

Shane & Firat Fawkes: Hornet and Pistol's dads. They don't show up a ton but I wanna note them anyways.

Purgatory: Floor's spider fox girlfriend, she's very large and very silly :3

Penumbra: belongs to @illumacati-aka-cati . He's not part of my Ocs world but he's still connected to Floor through old stuff we did so he may be mentioned sometimes teehee (Hi Cati :])

After doodling that oc faves set, I wanted to make another one. This is called “Redesign our new outfits already you lazy bastard” squad.

It was tricky as not all characters had established surnames yet, such as Dawn and Shanti, and some don’t have one to begin with in-story, like Kuura and Ilves.

Anyway, more details about each below:

Kaspian was a scifi oc but I decided to merge that story with the butterfly boys one. He has a little brother Sebastian, and both of them work as apprentices for an older (now retired) Demon Slayer called Vincent. Both he and his brother ended up cursed by a demon and now have fear-themed powers. He’s at peace with them, whereas Sebastian hates having these abilities. 

Kas is Aro/Ace and generally feels awkward if people flirt with him. He and his brother are also albinos. Kaspian’s vision is poor, but thanks to his demon powers heightening his other senses, he rarely wears his glasses.

Samsara is one of the Deities of my fantasy world, namely one of the Elemental sisters who are also known as the Daughters of Mother Nature, each representing one of the four elements. Samsara tends to interact with her champions the most (I.E anyone using fire/light/warmth based magic) Her sisters are named Thalia (Earth/nature) Lumine (Water/oceans) and Aezha (Sky/wind)

Ilves is the eldest child of his family, and together with his sister they are the chiefs of their small village. He’s single and not in a rush to find anyone, but does like spending time with kids and is generally good with them. Even his brother’s kids call him the “fun tall uncle,” and like to ride on his shoulders to see further away. 

Ilves’ power allows him to communicate with carnivorous animals such as wolves, foxes and large felines, he’s also naturally really strong physically and can easily pick up all of his four siblings at once if he wants to. His name is a Finnish word that means “lynx”

Gray (real name Varis, Finnish word meaning crow) Is the middle child of his family, who decided to leave home to travel the word. He gained his nickname “Gray” when he was staying in an old shack for a while nearby a town, and ended up rescuing people getting lost in the woods during snowstorms. 

Nobody knew he was there, so he ended up becoming an urban legend called “The Graywalker” as all people he rescued tended to remember was just bunch of grey shades, being blinded by snow. He didn’t bother correcting people once they did find out some random person from the north was living in an old shack in the mountains. 

Gray has frost powers due to having some Frost Child genetics in him, but they’re not as strong as his younger brother Kuura’s. Nowadays Gray lives with his wife and three kids in the Kingdom of Valerna and works as the chief of staff for the palace Guards. He is often seen napping as the warmer climate makes him drowsy. Only his close ones know his real name. 

He’s friends with a local fire mage Ace, and before Ace lost his wife they used to spar a lot as Ace liked to annoy him. Since then he’s become more serious and also listens to Gray’s advice when he’s struggling as a dad.

Kuura is the youngest member of his family, and has very strong Frost Child powers, hence his skin has bluish patches. Frost Children are basically half-blooded ice spirits, allowing them control over winter weather and even the ability to turn into a spirit form. Kuura is a bit bad at controlling it and may turn into a snowy cloud randomly.

 He’s also kind of an oblivious young man, who doesn’t notice it when someone attempts to flirt with him - namely a girl named Reilynn who has a crush on him. His name is a Finnish word that refers to a very specific type of frost coating individual blades of grass for example very early morning during late fall/early winter, before there’s proper snow on the ground.

Dawn Is the teenager daughter of a single parent fire mage Ace, who has inherited his fire powers. She’s not the greatest at them yet, often ending up frying things by accident. Dawn wants to be as strong as her dad someday. Their mother went missing when they were young. (IDK the details yet, she’s my friend’s oc and she’s been too busy to work on them RN)

Joshua is the prince of an infamous warrior kingdom of Arthanos, that was destroyed in a mysterious event when Joshua was a child. From what he’s able to gather of his childhood memories though, he suspects someone was trying to repeat the Deity-ritual their kingdom’s Deity Amaros did long ago to become the said Deity, and it went wrong. Despite coming from a fearsome kingdom, he’s a very gentle and kind man. 

He has a beloved called Melody, who works as a healer in his current home Kingdom’s palace. Joshua works directly under the Queen, helping her deal with secretive threats alongside the Royal Mage Azul. 

While many citizens are still intimidated by him, most of the children tend to see past his reputation as an Arthanosian warrior, and don’t find him scary but really nice.

Shanti is Dawn’s big sister and basically took over their mother’s role somewhat to help her dad to look after Dawn at first. Ace tries his best but at the time especially he was struggling with being a single parent. She doesn’t have magic powers like her sister, but is very adept in using enchanted talismans and other magic infused objects. Reversal talismans come in handy especially if Dawn accidentally burns something.

Alexei is the first mate of their King’s former ship, now lead by his sister Scarlet. He’s very quiet and rarely speaks, to the point many people don’t even know how he sounds like. Some even theorize that he’s mute. (he’s not, just very introverted)

Alexei is bit of a “port hottie” meaning each time their ship returns to Valerna, there’s typically plenty of young men and women trying to catch a glimpse of him or flirt with him. They also like to gossip about him a lot - namely his sex life - which he tends to just ignore. 

In truth, Alexei isn’t that interested in sex; he’s not ace, but prefers more casual intimacy and cuddling over it. He actually has a boyfriend, a local painter Aiden, who’s also taking care of his and Scarlet’s orphaned little cousin Dmitri, as they couldn’t take the small boy with them to their overseas travels.

I got some pixel art brushes for procreate and decided to test them out! I drew some of my favorite creators ocs (and I hope y’all like em cause I sure do) to get more practice.
