And while he would never admit to using any of them for personal gain, he might've tried one or two when he started realizing his fondness for his fellow student in Ishgard wasn't just platonic....

💘: At one point in his youth, Leighton decided to ask a good friend out for dinner to see if he really wasn't interested in women, as he couldn't tell for sure, so why not do a test run and find out once and for all. He was extremely polite about it afterwards, telling her that it just wasn't the spark he was looking for but at least now he knew for sure and felt more confident in himself.

💘: However Kieran was quick on the draw and promptly shot her shot and got herself a girlfriend after her brother let her down gently and they actually dated for a few months before mutually deciding they were all just better off as friends due to differing long-term goals in a discussion about the future of the relationship.

🥵 : Is your OC perceived as physically attractive to others? Is it at first glance or is it something that takes more time to reach fruition?

She is physically attractive to others NOW, because she has the money and time in order to take care of herself and make herself beautiful. As a Prince her persona relies a lot on being done up very prettily in high fashion in order to mask the real legwork she does for herself and her Conspiracy. As a result, she is typically seen in a fashion that accentuates her bigger form. However, she only has had a healthy diet, good health, and the ability to have good hygiene since becoming a Prince.

She was NOT a beauty when she lived in a dilapidated hideout with her partner in crime Imre, hand-to-mouth, and getting by on scraps and scales as best they could for years. She was a gangly, malnourished, stray cat of a woman before devil-cursed blood and a pact with Orc fused onto her heart made her healthy and hearty as a Prince and that wealth afforded her 3 square meals a day.

😍 : What does your OC find irresistible in others?

Passion! Doesn't matter what for, she's very much a moth to a flame when someone is very much into their craft, work, or ideals and lights up as a result of it. She's a bit of a idealist so seeing it in other people is definitely alluring and catches her interest before anything else.

🔥 : What’s a surefire way to make your OC get flustered?

She's hard to get flustered in earnest, in a way that throws her off her game, since she's fairly shameless and confident. However, being very sweet to her, or otherwise sincere displays of affection certainly touch her deeply. Also if she's ever being facetiously demanding of her partners time, but they play into it, she could get flustered because she won't know what to do with it after.

🌟- Is this oc good at expressing themself through words or do they have to use other means?

This is a tricky question, ngl! Hex doesn’t think of himself as good with words -- he’s spoken two languages at minimum his entire life (though he’s probably picked up more by now), so he’s very familiar with the feeling of not being able to find the words for what he means in more than one language, which can feel incredibly lonely sometimes. His speech is definitely a bit more casual than that of his cousins, but Maxi’s worked in a traditionalist customer-facing industry since he could properly help Vincent, and their mother put Rora through every charm school-esque class and workshop she could find. Ranza, for all her faults, gets props out of all the original four parents for loving Hex exactly as he was - sometimes imperfectly doing so, but it was still there. Hector got teased by some of the small town kids when he was younger for flubbing his words sometimes, and he still has a little bit of that insecurity at the back of his mind, so he tends to believe he expresses himself best through visuals -- first and foremost photography, obviously, but sometimes through other means as well. He sometimes borrows the words of others; if there’s a poem he likes that describes how he feels about you (as closely as possible), you often find the page ripped directly from a book somewhere like on your vanity or tucked into the windshield wiper of your car. Or he’ll try to explain his feelings by taking you somewhere that feels like what’s going on inside his head, like stargazing or something. He thinks if he can show it to you, it’ll make more sense.

🌈- What does this oc like and dislike about themselves?

Honestly this was the answer that took me a day to think about lmao

Hex has a very complicated relationship with his feelings about himself. (A lifetime of having your self-worth based on your developing abilities to summon the dead will do that to a guy.) He likes his skill set: he’s very competent at everything he does, from photography to murder stalking hacking his less public pursuits. He’s a gifted medium, which we haven’t seen in text yet (but is part of the smut request I’m working on for him rn it’s complicated) and is v rare in the family, even a family of necromancers, so he takes a great amount of pride in that as well. He’s also not shy about accepting the fact that he’s hot - trust me, he knows, and he considers it part of his people skills. But even if he wasn’t, he’d still be good at talking to people, getting them to let their guard down. It’s a cultivated skill that it took him a lot of time to develop, so he’s proud of that one as well.

In terms of what he doesn’t like… well, first he has to admit there’s some things he doesn’t like. :’D He only really opens up about that, even to himself, when he’s having a bad insomnia spell. Then he’ll obsess over how he’s supposed to be powerful but he still hasn’t finished his Chain bc he got too impulsive with a kill, or got too caught up in the moment and forgot to think through his clean up plan/exit strategy. He hates how he loses his cool more easily when things are out of his control, no matter how hard he’s tried to work on his temper bc he didn’t want to end up like his father. While he makes it a point to openly shrug off whatever the rest of the world is doing, bc that clearly doesn’t apply to him as someone who literally can see between this world and the Next, he still panics a little bit some nights about being 40 and having dropped out of college and not having a home of his own or a steadier job than freelance photography, bc he put all his eggs in the Necromancer Scion basket and never thought he’d need ~Normal Person Things~… except now, it feels like he has no alternative even if he wanted one. Especially when he starts dating you — how is he supposed to help create a comfortable life for both of you, outside his whole Family Curse deal? What’s to say you don’t find his “dreamy free-spirited artist” thing exhausting eventually, and leave him for someone who has their shit together. He couldn’t blame you if you did, he’d totally understand and wants the best for you bc he loves you more than anything even if you leaving might kill him in the process.

He tries v hard to give the impression he’s always got something up his sleeve and that he doesn’t care what other people think, but that’s bc if he doesn’t, he might actually have to admit he’s got himself in a bit of a hole and doesn’t know how to get out.

❄- What is this oc's favorite and least favorite food?

I answered this in another ask, but I can mention that Hex is that guy at any state fair that will eat something deep-fried and smothered in chocolate. Maxi thought he had an iron stomach, but the way Hex will go through fried oreos put the fear of god in him once and for all lmao.

🎧 If they had to put on a type of ambient noise, what sounds would it consist of? (for cure memoir)

Cure Memoir used to live in Yokohama before moving to a much quieter town, so sometimes she misses the busier atmosphere!

The noises would consist of

People walking and talking on the street

Bicycles, prams, and other wheel-on-pavement sounds

Cars and trams passing

Bird calls, but sparser than in her new town

River water, she remembers enjoying the sound of the water near the Cosmo Clock 21

Occasional theme park sounds, also due to that - though these are rarer for her to listen to

Really, any sounds that make her feel like she's back in Yokohama, rather than in her new town. She enjoys her new town, but she does miss her old city quite a bit, too.

💘: Lev has no love life to speak of, and that's perfectly fine with him. He prefers spending his time alone, and when your found family just cannot seem to stop multiplying, having a bit of time to yourself is the best cure for exhaustion. He's not entirely opposed to the idea of dating, but it's so so far down his priority list or hierarchy of needs that he's not actively seeking anything out. If it falls into his lap, so be it.

💘: Felix wound up ghosting his former boyfriend back in Ishgard when he just ran off to the Observatory in Coerthas. It was an entirely spur of the moment, impulse choice and in hindsight he regrets not saying anything, but he also felt he couldn't trust anybody to not tell his location to his family. He was toying with the idea of moving in with him to escape, but instead just made the snap decision to get as far away as he could to somewhere where he could study what he wanted in peace. (It didn't work out that way)

💘: Leomaunt has had a handful of 'lovers'. Most ended after one or two nights. While he tells himself it was just how he was, someone who wasn't interested in love, or how he was just protecting them from his reputation and legacy, none of that is true. Leo was too starved for love and touch that it scared him, and his reaction was to push everyone away and isolate harder, even going so far as to refuse touch by wearing gloves whenever he could to avoid it. The man wanted love so badly his entire life that he didn't know what to do once he tasted the distilled version.
