Favorite thing about her: WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN WITH. Oh my God she's like the best arc developed on season 2 and she is so consistent with everything and so so full of love and so complex and. I really just like the way she's written and how much respect they had for her once she was out on her own terms. Her design is one of my favorite things ever too, it's quite simple but so SO good and shaped, her main color being purple, her abilities, her love for others, how she doesn't want to hurt anybody. I just like everything about her. How she as a person isn't flawless but is still full of love. How even if she has a gokden heart she can still stand up for herself and hold grudges. She's just. So important to me.

Least favorite thing about her: I have a lot to say when the things I don't like about her are her alliance with Taco (not because it's bad for the story, again, Mic's arc is beautifully written, but because Taco sucks and I can feel Mic on a emotional level) AND the what the Fanon did to her. They treated her so SO badly.

Favorite line: "So now, I'm making my first good choice."

Random headcanon: Painting became a sort of therapy for her at some point post s2. She used to do it a lot when she was a kid, but now she's just getting back at it. However, she doesn't attend Paintbrush's classes because 1: she can't focus with many people and 2: she's more of painting landscapes or recreating photos. it really helps her with thinking. as well, even if she's somewhat decent at cooking, she's GREAT at baking. definitely one of her hobbies.

Unpopular opinion: SHE'S INSANELY BISEXUAL SHE LIKES MEN AND WOMEN 💥💥💥 but also, she's one of the characters that suffers the worst treatment on the way the fandom treats her, and usually misses the whole point with the toxic friendship he had with Taco.

No, Mic would never forgive Taco. Yes, she meant it when she said the thing about Pickle. Their thing is a really good example of an harmful relationship. As well, Knife and her being best friends instead of siblings is WAY better if you don't want the romance (even IF justin has stated on may 1st of 2023 that they're okay with others shipping them now, on twitter), and Knife's and Mic's arc is just very very underrated and like. Why. They're so important to eachother. Did you know that in A Song For Microphone, On Knife's Edge appears there for a segment? Their arcs are entwined and yet they're just pushed aside.

Also I just really don't like it when people mischaracterize her for ships or only remember she's there for ships.

19. in your opinion, what is snape's biggest flaw?

that he tends to view everything which happens - even if it doesn’t happen to him directly - through a personal win-lose lens.

as a result, he is often extremely vindictive in an attempt to ‘win’ interactions he has with other people (e.g. setting an essay intended to out lupin as a werewolf in order to assert dominance over both him and dumbledore); he delights in the misfortune of others, including the children assigned to his care (e.g. him taunting harry and ron with expulsion after they crash into the whomping willow); he becomes incandescent with rage when losing (e.g. his iconic hospital wing breakdown after sirius escapes in prisoner of azkaban); he tends to assume the worst in people and refuses to accept that interactions he perceives as deliberate humiliations might have been accidental or might have nothing to do with him at all (e.g. literally everything he says to dumbledore in prisoner of azkaban); and - despite his own renunciation of his past beliefs - he refuses to consider that anyone else might be capable of change or regret for their past behaviour (taken to an extreme in his relationship with harry, whom he blames throughout the series for the sins of his father).

all of this contributes to snape being quite poor at empathy - he’s generally unwilling to relate to other people’s concerns unless they affect him personally, the best example of course being the way that he views lily’s dislike of mulciber etc. as an overreaction, until his own reconsideration of his friendships after he turns his back on the death eaters completely changes his view.

i don’t think that this is an irredeemable flaw, to be clear. but i think that it’s something that anyone writing snape really does need to make sure they grapple with - especially in stories where he survives the war and finally has the space to exist in the world.

not because of the student-teacher dynamic - i literally don’t care about that, since they’re not real people - but because snape canonically finds her absolutely insufferable. they’re not intellectually compatible in the slightest (hermione has a fondness for sticking within disciplinary boundaries/not thinking particularly creatively which doesn’t align with snape’s worldview), snape has no interest in being nagged or condescended to (being condescending is kind of his thing), and hermione’s obviously middle-class vibes are going to bring out the arthur scargill in him.

if you must have snape paired with a lightning generation girly - and why not, this is fiction - the cultured choice would definitely be ginny. after all, they could both talk about how much they’d have loved to smash lord voldemort/their shared weakness for green eyes.

39. how do you think snape spent his early childhood days?

i think that he was one of those children who spent a lot of time walking around collecting things.

which is why i also think that the love of his life is someone else with a disappointing father and a magpieish streak…

The word cenote derives from the mayan word "Ts'ono'ot" and refers to any subterranean chamber with accessible water. Cenotes were the only source of freshwater in the jungle and are considered sacred, cenotes were sometimes used by the Mayan civilization for sacrificial offerings because the mayan considered cenotes an entrance to Xibalba or Underworld (place of fear).

So she was named after the feature that straddles the surface and Underdark, just as she herself does.  Karst is the type of geology in which cenotes form.

Gender: Female, but a tomboy in terms of presentation

Sexuality: Mostly straight, but might enjoy the occasional romp otherwise.

Pronouns: She/her, but doesn’t really care what anyone uses.

Birthplace: She doesn’t know where her mother was when she was born, but she was raised pretty equally between the surface and Underdark.

Job: None, she’s a ranger, she enjoys wandering far and wide and might do odd tasks for coin but she’s largely self-sufficient and does not care about such things.

Phobia: She thought the worst thing she could imagine was something crawling into her ear.  Turns out, she was wrong.

I went there specifically looking for the ship tag that you hate and I now have to see YOUR bullshit, so get a grip. Anyone can ship what they want, regardless if it has chemistry or not. No matter if it's "only popular because it's a stereotypical ship" Ever heard of crack ships? It's a thing. I don't need to justify my shipping choices, thank you.

Commentary in tags is tumblr culture. Just look away. I can't believe it, but I'm actually quoting Jesus on you: "if your eyes are what tempts you, gauge out your eyes. If you can't control your hands, cut them off." Ship shaming is so fucking lame, I'm so done with this.

If it bothers you THAT much, You can make posts gathering awareness of the importance of tagging correctly or if the ship is problematic for some reason (e.g. incest/pedophilia/etc.) report the user. You can ask the poster to correct their tags but you don't have to be a dick to people online. Especially not in this case because it was clearly just about preference.

Do you know how many times I read fanfics with Leon ships in them even when they're not tagged? Do you have any idea how often I see Alastor ship art on tumblr? The ship the person mentioned above prefers is another one of my NoTPs that happen to include on of the few ace characters I adore and want to remain outside of ships. I like the art anyway and keep scrolling. And I do not judge them for preferring that ship. Of course they are allowed to ship whatever they want. You can appreciate things you don't like for different reasons. For the humor, for the art style, for the fic it's from... Yeah, you'll cringe, but that's the worst of it. But this?!

Willow also for the character ask game

General opinion/how much I care about them: I’ve always really liked Willow, ever since I first watched Buffy.  I think that she is without doubt the second most complex and richest character on the show (after Buffy herself, of course).  I like that Willow gets to be a girl who is good with computers and likes math puns and teaches her friends trigonometry.  I like that she gets to turn Xander down in Prophecy Girl despite spending years waiting for him to notice her.  I like the fact that she has a real arc across the show’s run, one that often involves her not being a very admirable person.  I like that she’s a bit of a hypocrite and that she isn’t afraid to hold a grudge.  I like that all her worst flaws arise naturally out of her greatest virtues.

A ship I love: Boring answer maybe but I think all of Willow’s canon relationships are good in their own way.  (Well, all her canon relationships apart from the one with the evil demon that lives in the internet.  Not really sure about that one.)  Wanting to be loved and to be in a romantic relationship feels like a very substantial part of Willow’s character, actually (see, relatedly, all the different  times Willow tries to make Buffy happier by setting her up with somebody). But sure, Tara/Willow is my favorite.  It’s the best (and arguably most long-lasting) thing to come out of Season 4, too.

A non-romantic relationship that I love: Buffy and Willow’s friendship is one of the most important parts of the show to me, and I think it’s as important to them as any other relationship either of them have.  And I honestly think it is better done and develops more organically than any of Buffy’s romances. Willow’s journey from “why is the new girl being nice to me? what does she want? I’d better memorize and act on every bit of bad advice she gives me so she’ll like me” to “Buffy is my best friend and we’re going to go to grad school together, so she simply isn’t allowed to stay dead” (and Buffy’s corresponding journey from “why is my brand new friend Cordelia being so mean to this poor girl?  wait, is Cordelia a bad person?  am I?” to “okay, since bad things will happen to Willow if I don’t stop the Master I guess I’ll just go and fight the Master and die“) just feels a lot more real than any number of love at first sight plotlines.  I really wish they got to talk more in Season 7.

The NOTP: I think not having Willow and Xander end up together is one of the smartest choices the early seasons of the show ever made.  As childhood friends they work really well, but as a couple … no.

My biggest headcanon about them: I’ve decided that I think Willow and Cordelia were friends when they were very young, and that the whole “We Hate Cordelia” stuff only happened after Cordelia met Harmony and publicly distanced herself from Willow to fit in with her new cooler friends.  I think that explains some of Willow’s animosity to Harmony in particular (who she seems to hate more than Cordelia, even though we barely ever see Willow and Harmony interact), and I don’t think the way Willow and Cordelia talk to each other in late S1 / early S2 really makes sense if they’ve never gotten on before.  (This theory fits the little the show reveals about their personal timelines, too, I think: the show at least implies that Xander has known Cordelia for a couple of years longer than Willow has known Harmony, and we also know that Willow and Xander have been inseparable since kindergarten.)

An idea for a fanfiction I would like to write/read about them: If I ever find the time and energy to write a direct sequel to my Season 3 Buffy AU, I think Willow would be the main character.  (I actually have a vague outline half plotted out for it and everything, though it’s really not very likely I will find the time to work on it any time soon.)   Maybe I’ve just never looked in the right places, but I don’t think there are many plot-heavy Buffy fanfics where Willow plays a truly central role. 

Something that makes me think of them: Uh. So, this is a bit of a non sequitur (and very much a case of me projecting onto my blorbo, I know) but it kind of annoys me that the show suggests that Willow is majoring in sociology (or at least something adjacent to that) in college.  Yes, I get that she has to be in the same classes as Buffy sometimes in Season 4 and 5 for plot reasons, and she has to be doing something Buffy at least expects to be able to follow for the brief and disappointing return to college in Season 6 to work.  And yes, I know that Season 4 deliberately plays up the whole “Willow’s not into computers much these days, if you know what I mean” angle, (although I’d note that she still seems to know her way around a computer fine in later seasons when the plot requires it).  

But in high school Willow was clearly more into STEM than anything else, what with the science fairs and the hacking and being head-hunted by a computer company and … look, I just think she should have been allowed to major in math, okay?  

I mean, abstract algebra has root systems and crystals and spurious use of the word ‘quantum’ and really atrociously bad puns!  You get to learn a secret little language that most people don’t understand and consider yourself part of a semi-mystical tradition stretching back thousands of years and draw elaborate geometric figures and convince yourself you’re learning something fundamental about the nature of reality just by thinking really hard! You’re telling me teenage Wiccan and confirmed nerd Willow Rosenberg – who was covering for her computer science teacher as a high school junior and who, it’s at least implied, did even better at the math component of the SAT than the verbal, and who explicitly chose Sunnydale in part because she’d be able to design her own curriculum  – wouldn’t love all of that?  

… anyway, yes, as I said, it’s possible I may be projecting here just a tiny little bit.

But anyway.  My answer to the actual question is that sometimes I am reading a math textbook and I think: “oh, I bet Willow would love learning about this”.

Character ask: Athena

Favorite thing about them: Her status as the goddess of wisdom, her patronage of craftwork and democracy, her invaluable help to various heroes, and that despite her status as a war goddess, she represents the heroic and intellectual aspects of warfare (e.g. strategy, negotiation, and fighting for justice) rather than the bloodlust of the male war god Ares.

Least favorite thing about them: Her tendency to brutally punish mortals who offend her. Of course the worst and most notorious example is Ovid's version of the Medusa myth, where she caught Poseidon raping Medusa in her temple and punished the victim rather than the rapist by changing Medusa from a beautiful maiden into a snake-haired monster. (Though to be fair, that's only Ovid's version of the myth – in most other versions, Medusa was always a monster – so I don't hold it against all iterations of Athena.)

Random Headcanon: This isn't so much a headcanon as "which version of the myth I prefer." I think of her as the daughter of Zeus and Metis, whose mother was swallowed by her father (to prevent her from having a son who would overthrow him) and gave birth to Athena inside Zeus's head. I prefer this to the versions of her birth story where she just springs from Zeus's head without a mother.

Unpopular Opinion: As I wrote above, the story of her cursing Medusa shouldn't be treated as an inescapable "fact" about her. No more than Orpheus sleeping with young boys after he lost Eurydice, or any other unpleasant details that are only in Ovid and no other source of mythology.

Sexuality Headcanon: Something I haven't thought much of, but probably gay and ace.

A ship I have with said character: Josh and Cecilus would be really cute. I love Joshua's little puppy crush on him in ex 4 where he feels bad about not keeping an eye on him and being so relieved he was okay, all because Cecilus was the first person ever to indulge him about how cool his brother is. I can't really see it being a mutual thing, but Josh strikes me as falling hard for any person willing to give him the time of day.

A BROTP I have with said character: Anastasia and Josh are really fun to read. She teases him a lot and instantly gets his whole deal with his insecurities. On his side, he clearly views her as a bad influence on her brother, yet when Julius nearly fucks things up with Ana it's Joshua who actually encourages his brother to go make amends and apologise. She basically adopts him as a little brother and goes out of her way to include him in things, even though he is neither a merchant nor mercenary in her company.

A NOTP I have with said character: Don't think I've got one... Or I haven't seen any pairings with him that throw me off too much. Subaru x Joshua would be a very very hard pairing given the sheer amount of insecurities arising from how they know each other, but it's not something I could rule out.

A random headcanon: Joshua would be a really good merchant. During Arc 5, when meeting with the Emilia camp, he shows quite a good level of proficiency at negotiations to the point otto even comments on him saying "He got us" or something of that ilk. Joshua's very perceptive of people and reads them well - I'd love to see that side explored more, as Lugunican Hustle is probably the first big example of that side of him.

General Opinion over said character: One of my favourite characters of all time. He's such a complicated mess of a character, I had to write a comprehensive guide to him and then rewrite it twice after reading some untranslated side stories. You overlook him easily with his brother obsession, but then miss all the nuances of him trying his best in some of the worst circumstances. Writing him was simultaneously the easiest and hardest thing I've done ever, solely because I could relate to so many negative aspects of him that it felt incredibly raw to tackle.

That constant envy and comparison to his brother, always living in his shadow, insisting it was *his choice* to step back from the inheritance rather than Julius taking it from him. The controlling aspect of it shattering over Reinhard, resulting in him becoming even more shrewd as he couldn't even see his brother in the same light he used to... It's so cruel, and so lovely to read. With Tappei eluding to his involvement in the future main story (Which implies he'll wake up akin to Rem, right? With no memories and that internal personality still consistent? He'd be a hollow, bitter man that would emotionally break Julius.) I really am excited to see more content of my boy.

😍 favorite fic trope has got to be “protective!Sirius finds out Regulus and James are sleeping together.” Sirius always gets over it and supports in the end, but I love that initial “HOW FUCKING DARE YOU?? THAT’S MY BABY BROTHER, POTTER!!! 😡😡😡” moment. It’s just so over-the-top, overprotective, and dramatic—just like Sirius!

👿 the trope I hate: James and Regulus are together, but then something something they’re on a break, and James sleeps with Lily, getting her pregnant, so now Regulus is devastated and James is going to be a father. Ugh, kill me now. I like Lily, but I don’t enjoy having her pregnancy being a device to create conflict, angst, and drama for Regulus. It just pisses me off and gets me angry with James. Not my cup of tea 🍵

💡 head canon: when Regulus decides that it’s time for James to tell Sirius about them, James is really cagy about it. He doesn’t want to upset Sirius, but he realllly doesn’t want to upset Regulus. To give James a bit of motivation, Regulus starts flirting with random boys at Hogwarts, who are very into him and flirt back. James is fighting for his life on sheer jealousy. This is my truth ✊

Something you like about them:

Love that he's just an odd little guy who will drop fun facts into conversation at the worst possible times. He's trying to stay positive he's trying to make friends he's doing his best despite the circumstances and yet annoying everyone along the way.

Also cannibalism from a china plate is such an excellent metaphor for colonialism and trying to keep up appearances.

Something you don't like about them:

Cheating a bit for this answer because I DO in fact like this as a thematic character choice - but his desperation to cling to hierarchy. The fact he sits apart from the other mutineers and thinks of himself as above them even when rank no longer has any meaning or value.

Favourite line:

'I'm more afeared of the cold, boys! I play the clavier back home, and for that, you need every finger!'

Favorite Character: Ziti my beloved. She has taken over my heart like mold. Oh my dearest. Hector is a very close second (he lost his throne to her, alas). Curls (Fernanda Pizazzo) gets third place hahehe.

MOONSTONE ALWAYS !!!

I wish we'd gotten more Brotherhood, but I also wish we'd gotten a better Zhan Tiri and a better Demanitus. They have so much lore potential that just flopped so bad :( !!!

We could've had Zhan Tiri tell Cassandra of her POV of her past with Demanitus in order to make Cass sympathize with her (developing her character and the plot in one swoop), and then we could've had a cool moment of the main gang reading Manny's journal in the finale (while looking for the Portal blueprints) and letting us see a flashback of his view of everything that happened until the fateful "I had to send my ex-bestie to acid hell" day and therefore get his own explanation on why he did it.

We could still have a vague explanation of their past, since both tales were told by opposite kings of the metaphorical board, but at least we wouldn't have the contradicting mess we got. Smh.

Another show to get a Crossover with ... Miraculous Ladybug :]

I have 1 tangled OTP and it's zhan tiri/winning (i have no strong opinions on any ship except the hector/ziti pairing, which probably doesn't even count since it's a pairing that exists in only 2 fics and they're BOTH WRITTEN BY ME HAJDJWJE)

I have 1 tangled NOTP and it's varian/literally anyone of the main crew (age gap too big ... noooo)

Best animal companions are Hector's bearcats and rhino, 100% (but Ruddiger is a close second :] )

I found the fandom in 2018—2019. I remember I got to it maybe a couple months after season 1 ended and I got to watch season 2 as it came out !!

My song choices vary a lot depending on my mood. At the moment, my favorite song is not even a song but rather an instrumental/background music, "Onwards to the Dark Kingdom" (Great Tree soundtrack :] ) and I don't have a worst song to name because I don't care enough about the songs I don't immediately love to actually dislike them. So, I'm choosing "Next Stop Anywhere", since it's my least liked song among my liked songs !!

Characters I relate to ... dude ... I know there's someone, I just can't remember. Faith came to mind. Calliope did too. Geez. Of all people. At least it's not Demanitus or something.

A big opinion I have is that Hector should've, if not taken the Moonstone himself, at the very least become an actual threat at some point. He would've been very useful in s2 since s2 lacks any real threat or antagonist (except the debut episode (Stalyan and Baron), the mid-finale (Hector and the GT), and the actual finale (Edmund).

Also Ziti could've been a little less Yzma'd. just saying 🦀

Alrighty, these are my boys!

Let's do Ironwood first for the new ask game

1: sexuality headcanon

I headcanon Ironwood to be bisexual with a preference for men.

2: otp

Ironqrow for life. They are just so great as a ship, with all the 'mutual pining, not actually unrequited they're just both idiots, bickering divored-couple-energy that still allows for the spark of new love, the matching color scheme they had in their first looks, the way they look at each other, the freaking hug! It's an amazing ship.

3: brotp

Ironwood and Winter. A lot of people ship them and I can see why, but even though I've long headcanoned them to be the same age, in my head they're just very close friends, close to brother and sister, which makes him accidentally want to favor Weiss and Whitley when he knows them. XD

4: notp

Ironwood and Robyn. Blegh.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

James uses the training facility at Atlas Academy sometimes and will indulge students that want to spar with him. He's always careful and takes things easy on them, and always lets them get in hits to build their self-confidence.

6: favorite line from this character

"You have two choices: Defend your kingdom and your school, or save yourselves. ...No one will fault you if you leave."

This line is so very James at his best, aggggh! Because it starts out professional and stern, not exactly harsh but more blunt, and then the students all give each other these worried anxious looks, and he softens so clearly in his tone and tells them no one is gonna think less of them, that it isn't their job or their duty or morally right to endanger themselves, and that if they make the choice to leave they can. These kids are seventeen, this might be one of the only times in the first seven seasons that anybody told these kids it's okay to prioritize their own lives.

7: one way in which I relate to this character

I am also kind of socially awkward! Ironwood with his tie adjusting and struggling in conversations and kind of stiff deliveries of things like 'it's good to see you again'... Me too, buddy, I also have no idea how to talk to people. XD

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

The villain arc, ugh. What a terribly written final arc to have. It's always embarrassing to have to specify that I like Ironwood outside of his stupid badly done rushed villain arc that turned him into a boring two dimensional evil-laughing rando with a giant gun-gun using his two remaining braincells to do pointlessly evil things just to get at teenagers. Like??? Cringe.

9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?

Problematic fave. Even at IW's very best, he still was flawed in some fun ways, he could do the wrong thing, he could do the right thing but do it in a way that makes you go 'huh.' (Gonna be honest, although I love cinnamon rolls, they're not half as interesting as problematic faves.) XD Aaaand at Ironwood's worst, he was a pointlessly evil stuck up bastard trying to kill and torture people for very little reason, and not in a fun way.

Now for Qrow

1: sexuality headcanon

I headcanon Qrow as bisexual as well, and I also headcanon him as having only realized he was bisexual as a grown adult (partially because Qrow is one of my faves and I project onto my faves, and I only realized I was bi when I was a grown adult. XD)

2: otp

Ironqrow again. XD This ship is just so good that it's my number one fave for both characters.

3: brotp

Qrow and Ozpin. This is a ship that I could see myself enjoying, but what I enjoy even more is them as close friends, with Qrow looking to Oz for guidance and as an authority figure and then the roles reverse when Ozpin gets put into a teenage body and suddenly Qrow is the guide in charge.

4: notp

Funnily enough, this one is also Robyn. Qrow and Robyn started being a ship when she caused a fight and then partially due to her actions, the queercoded Clover was brutally murdered, and then Clover and Qrow spent an entire season doing next to nothing but talking to each other despite their relationship mattering less than any other relationship Qrow had that could've gotten developed, and Robyn compared her problems with her active truth-telling semblance to Qrow's "I hurt everyone around me" problems caused by the passive semblance that makes his life harder despite him not doing anything, and then she was like "don't be sad that your actions helped the Salem worshipper brutally murder your friend, he was probably secretly evil and bad and you're better than that despite the fact that I've known you for like a day." Like, their relationship is nothing but angering for me. XD

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

I have this headcanon that Qrow doesn't realize it, but his bad luck semblance tends to react to large emotions he has. He still absolutely can't control it, but when he's calm and casual and cool, his semblance affects him and the world around him a bit less, and when he's really angry or really sad or even really happy his semblance kicks up and sometimes does really big things like cause unexpected rainstorms and make the electricity in buildings go out and stuff like that.

6: favorite line from this character

Raven: "They were your family." Qrow: "You have a very skewed perception of that word." Maybe it's just because this line fits into my headcanons, but I love it because Qrow's past easily lends itself to him having been abused by the people in the Branwen Camp, and then acquired a found family in Team STRQ and Ozpin, and now he has Yang and Ruby and he was involved in picking up the pieces when Raven left and then again when Summer died, which was probably devastating for him. I also just like Qrow's quippy nature and I like that at least someone was calling out Raven on her BS.

7: one way in which I relate to this character

Despite the fact that I've projected onto Qrow, we actually don't have very many similarities. But I'd say that although it's not nearly to the point of Qrow's own issues, I also struggle with feeling like a burden to the people around me and too much of a mess to deal with. I like writing for Qrow partially because it's a good way to explore those feelings.

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

"The size of the waitress's skirt length" Ulgh, gag me with a spoon. The at the time all male writers and one with a particularly bad past regarding misogyny on a show concepted by a guy who likes animating a seventeen year old woman character's boobs to bounce around to a jeering laughing cheering crowd... Yeah, no thanks. I much prefer writing my version of Qrow to flirt a lot but know where the line is and not do things like talk about how hot he finds miniskirts on service workers to his two underage nieces.

9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?

Problematic fave for sure. Even at his best, Qrow is a rough-around-the-ages spy with shady connections blindly following a leader and not seeing much wrong with getting kids involved who also picks fights with people and is drowning in his own emotional problems in ways that have negative effects on the people around him. But Qrow also (especially in the third and in the eighth season) like it or not also suffers from the problems of the writers, whether that's never giving a damn about inequality, objectifying service workers in a funny story to his underage nieces, seeming weak willed and hypocritical due to the writer's misuse or retconnings or making him go along with whatever Ruby says after Argus, or actively aiding a servant of Salem in volume seven and losing all his braincells in the process so the writers can force it to happen. Either way, Qrow is very problematic, in some fun and interesting ways and some not so fun ways.
