Ghostface in Dead by Daylight makes me a little insane and I can't put it into coherent words...
But like... the fact he's a journalist and writes for the crime section, and he's a serial killer is so interesting.
The sadistic glee of reading his deeds.
The nonchalant playfulness behind the cruelty.
The desire to be perceived but not be perceived at the same time.
The fact that he has memory lapses and tends to get disoriented at times.
I... idk what more to say.
Tldr: I like this version of Ghostface lmao.

i love the way information is shared in the httyd universe specifically in The Serpents Heir when Calder is like "holy shit stoick's tribe mastered dragons holy shit where is stoick the vast" like. no credit to hiccup for being the one to do basically everything no credit to the gang for doing basically everything. i mean what did stoick do compared to the riders in terms of dragon co-existence; let hiccup have the academy, trained his own dragon twice, help the dragons as he would his own people. most of it was hiccup and the riders doing. oh and calder thinks they control dragons hiccup specifically has to mention that they coexist not master. dude's canonically really far away and has cultural bias no wonder his interpretation was skewed and the information was skewed and everything. and thats realistic!! thats how information travels!! its literally so small but its attention to detail that i love.

Short internet storytime: I remember when Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse first came out and since the fandom was brand new at the time, I saw alot of cool fancontent like fanart and animations on YT atleast. I'm sure there were some pretty sick fanfictions too but I didn't look over in that area because I was scared lol anyways, on that note I gotta make a spidersona eventually like I already came up with a gimmick idea but I'm lazy af. Another thing was me being grossed out by how many Miguel O'Hara simps there were in general so I decided to complain about it to my friends and saved some of the suggestive art I saw on my phone purely just to show them hoe ridiculous they were being but apparently you become one of his stans after saving only a few specifically posed drawings of him from your social media feeds shaking my head I hate big buff vampire-looking men fuck you. Anyways I need to find somewhere to pirate the movie since I for some reason wasn't able to watch it for awhile atleast due to being busy irl rahhhh. I am so cranky rn because I can't sleep so sorry about that ughh...

To be cringe is to be human.
You shudder at just the thought of humiliation, but if you aren't willing to accept it, to embarrass yourself, and risk it all, you miss out on the glory of being known. You'll never know what it's like to embrace passion and enjoy your own ferocity because you were too scared, and you won't find your people, or the communities that feel the same way as you.
Be cringe, please.
One day you'll be ash and bones.
Other people don't think about you nearly as much as you think they do, and it's a waste to pretend to be someone you're not, for people who don't and never will care about you, even if you were authentic with them.
That's no way to live.
You must be cringe. You must embarrass yourself. You have to tell people you care about them. You have to throw your heart out into the world and not care how many times it gets thrown back. You have to dust it off and prepare to do it all over again.
Cringe and be known.

My best friend shares their bed with me. I have a key to their apartment and explicit permission to come in whenever I want even if they aren't home. I cry almost every day now and my back aches more often than it doesn't but I know that my best friend doesn't like peppermint and in turn they know I don't like mushrooms and if that isn't worth living for I don't know what is.

So, Ace Race...what happened?
To give everyone a clearer, more objective view of the situation, I present: the spreadsheet. It contains a list of every player's two times and placements and who disconnected (Keep in mind there could be more, these are just the names I saw in chat join/leave).
I calculated how many places players went up or down and how their time improved. They are color coded by team, and for your convenience I put three lists next to each other: The original placements, the new placements, and what the placements would look like if the only new times you counted were the players that disconnected. (This took seven hours).
Analysis under the cut
For the record, when the first player logged off (Captain Sparklez), there was 4:30 left, when the last player rejoined (Scar) there was 4:01 left, the first person (Dream) placed with 3:28 seconds left. they stopped the game with 1:20 left. And 5up, as far as I know, didn't even rejoin until after the race was over.
Fruit brought up the issue in chat at 2:29 left (after he finished), a few others agreed with him. Oli brought up redoing it with 2:07 left. I don't know whether the admins didn't notice or didn't realize how many people actually dc'd or figured teams were equally affected, but they announced a redo at 1:44. It was tight, they made a decision in 2 minutes and 17 seconds if they noticed everyone disconnecting. Or in less than a minute if they only noticed when people talked in chat, and they did stop the game 14 seconds later.
-
Now for some analysis, many players dropped a few placements and felt upset about it, thinking they did worse. This leads to them becoming more frustrated with the reset. I suspected they likely didn't, it was just there were quite a few really good ace race players that got discontented (Illumina, Fruitberries, HBomb).
The vast majority of players improved their time, often by a lot. The only ones that didn't were: Dream, Sapnap, InTheLittleWood, Smallishbeans, FoolishG, Badboyhalo, and AntVenom.
To my knowledge: Dream tried and failed to copy Purpled's skip several times, Martyn had a really good run the first time/tried skips, and Ant's trident didn't work/he tried skips. Joel, Sap, and Bad's were 0-2 seconds worse. I don't know what happened to Foolish (lack of morale ?)
As to be expected, everyone who disconnected improved majorly from 45 seconds to over 1 minute and 30 seconds. Most also rose quite a few placements, but not all. And not enough to account for all the upset in the new placements, so what else?
Well, those who practiced for ace race a lot, vod reviewed, and had experience was now void of those advantages. Now, people had a fresh run, they are familiar with the movements needed, and they saw other people do skips that they can try.
Bad originally had a massive advantage because he has a unique way he practices it that familiarizes the movements to him, but that's now gone, though he only lost one second, he dropped 14 places. Hannah, on the other hand, had never played ace race in an event before. But with the reset, she did and thus performed much better, gaining 6 places.
Almost everyone got faster times, but certain people with certain circumstances were more affected by it. So players, rest assured, you probably did improve the second time around, others just improved more (others being players that were previously handicapped).
(Also Dream, yes it was at least 10 people that were dc'd, Skeppy has not played in 14 months and it was Fruit and Illumina.)
Here's the link if anyone was having trouble accessing it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TnIGRBftyOJUFE0IDK-cffCyTHVMVeQjeJ8nz-4egY4/edit?usp=sharing
I really hope this doesn't need to be said, but DO NOT use this as a basis to harass Scott or Noxite or any of the Noxcrew. I really hope this clears up some misunderstandings and make some people feel better, not make things worse. It was a tough decision, but I think it was by far the right one. You can see for yourself how much of a difference the disconnects made. Noxcrew does a lot every month to bring us the wonderful event that is MCC, Scott made the teams we're all so fond of, they just released the closed beta of MCC Island. No, things weren't perfect or ideal, but it was out of their control. Besides, we've only had 2 MCCs out of 24 that was this level of scuffed and I think that's a pretty damn good track record.

Thing is, even if I could afford WatcherTV - would I want to spend money on a product that was introduced by its founders sadly reflecting on how they’ve been driven to this point because their company isn’t financially viable?
They titled it “Goodbye YouTube”, choosing to focus attention on their solemnly concluding their YouTube presence, rather than the exciting announcement that they had been counting down to and hyping their audience for. The launch of their streaming service should be an advert, a celebration of their new product, telling us why this is the tits and worth dropping money on. And instead they open the video talking like they’re about to shutter the company.
It just doesn’t instill a lot of confidence, y’know?

Une's Nonsensical Ramblings Episode 1: One Of Us AU Ok so, this au? This au right here? Love it, it's one of my absolute favorites, the idea is something that makes me very happy. However, I've always felt like the design of Demon Ford and just his dynamic in general with Bill and his crew could be improved. So, THIS;
Tumblr media
I'm taking a darker spin on it. In lieu of outright betrayal, Bill traps the three remaining Pines in prison bubbles and has Ford be the holder of their keys, finding it amusing that he's the one keeping his own family hostage. As time goes on, Ford becomes less and less human, and more focused on the task Bill has set for him. I like to think Fords job would be to intake information from as many multiverses as possible. Stripping him down to his core he becomes an apathetic vessel for knowledge. He takes the form of a Guidance Demon but he only guides himself - remnants of his Loner personality trait. Bill speaks to him through the lantern. Ford rarely ever speaks back after a while. I imagine he takes knowledge in many ways. Be it from libraries or data on a computer. One of the more violent ways is stripping it from a person. Likely a fate many alternate Fords have met their end too. Not like this one cares, it's all in the desire of knowing.
Tumblr media
Their keys, more detailed and upfront.
I needed to get this out of my system sorry for the long post

I miss my husband, such a shame that he doesn't exist anymore ||o(╥﹏╥)_. It's 1AM. The nights are cold without you. Can you go back to the realm of reality please? I'd love that. So much. Please come back. I don't want to keep rereading scripts.

I hate how B.O.O is more relatively obscure compared to Larrikins and Me And My Shadow because I'm over here being absolutely unhinged over this stinky bitch of a man (/affectionate /j) like I'm in a psyche ward

Was gonna make this another headcanon entry but its more of a whole plot/concept/idea so hear me out- (Rottmnt)
Ok, has anybody else recently been enthralled by the idea of an older Big Mama, possibly decades into the future, finally deciding to step down and retire, and as a 'last order of business' inviting Leo to a private meeting to tell him about this and, oh yeah, she's leaving everything to him with the only conditions being 'stay on top' and 'don't lose my Battle Nexus or Hotel' .
Working in the kinds of business she does, it's not exactly wise to have a legitimate 'next of kin' and Lou Jitsu and the turtles would be the closest thing anyway, so why not leave her businesses in the hands of the one she has the most respect for? The only one who has ever outwit her and is shown to be very good at practically everything he would need to take over for her?
Leo, of course, has his doubts about taking over for a literal mob boss, especially since he still does the whole 'Hero' thing, but a position of power like that could be really useful, and he could bring serious change to the Hidden City, especially with such loose conditions....
And so, Leo accepts and takes over Big Mama's Empire. His first orders of business are obviously to alter certain dealings and processes to make them as legal as possible (not an easy feat when the boss before him, as Leo soon learns, had the police completely under her thumb and never had to care). Leo also changes Battle Nexus policies to make it more ethical, something people hate at first, but he quickly makes up for by using the barely non-lethal nature of the show to incorporate new events/rules and attractions.
And while Leo tries to do as little crime as possible, once he fully adjusts to his new spot, anybody who dares to defy his agreements or take a shot at his throne will certainly pay. Especially since Donnie is his second in command, a position that said brother is frustrated to learn comes with very little power outside of what the Boss grants him (and is essentially a very glorified personal secretary, but they manage to work things out until they're both satisfied). Leo becomes infamous for being able to flip on a dime with anybody and go from friendly and formal to threatening you himself (he is still a ninja first and foremost), and is feared and respected by all, from straight up mafias to ethical, upstanding businesses. After all, while Big Mama's methods were definitely messed up, her reputation proved to be a very useful asset.
and I know I've been kinda dramatic and serious but the idea of Leo still doing his thing being New York's favorite fearless hero with his family on the surface and sometimes in the Hidden City while also being King of an only vaguely criminal Empire is lowkey hilarious (and makes some missions so much easier)

...Has anyone actually made an anatomical horror project?
A system which operates outside of your control, constant and steadfast- more complex than any machine, defined by an endless loop of processes that no one has gotten to the bottom of, work which is absolute and must continue, but undescribed, unknown- forceful.
Yames' style of horror (Discover my Body, Water Womb World) utilizes push factors, things which force you, or your character directly into the depths- curiosity which damns you, like a child discovering something wrong (and, like a nightmare, are punished in a horribly overblown way.)
One game of theirs, "Discover My Body" uses the lens of anatomy as both a push factor and the main concept- something which you cannot run from, something you must bear, something that is given to you in hearty detail that you must absorb... It's main focus is the transformation, and the anatomy thereof rather than the existing systems of the human body.
[Extreme flashing light warning if you choose to play "Covetus", t let it be known the creator wishes it not to be.]
An old newgrounds game titled "Covetous" follows an exaggerated case of two medical conditions ("Fetus in Fetu" / Parasitic Twin), the plot of which being that you control the "Brother" of a victim, subsisting entirely on the biological systems of the host (Though not anatomically accurate)... The gameplay is simple, but utilizes a sort of x-ray perspective as the game space.
Though not horror, the series "Trauma Center" utilizes strange (but fantastical) diseases and illnesses as a central plot point: E.G,
-A "Fish" that swims within an organ and causes large amounts of lacerations within a split second
-A parasite which creates a web to "sap energy" from a victim's heartbeat
-Tumors which, when cut can randomly explode in a cloud of harmful gas.
...
On a totally unrelated note, I vaguely remember a snippet of a horror movie on Cable TV- perhaps distorted through my bouts of childhood sleep paralysis, and the general state of "Conscious Unconsciousness" between the 2-3 minutes of "Wake" and "Dream", right as your eyes start to slip.
It was an "Osmosis Jones" sort of closeup (Camera pan to chest, cut to a menagerie of "Veins" inside of a body.)
...
I'm not sure if I could make one, I'm far too "esoteric" for horror, and unlike the fetishists' "Gleeful" interpretation of the macabre, I don't have the heart nor skill to describe things directly.
