Arranged marriage au ideas I have that I'm just making a note of:

Characters are aged up a little to make it a bit more comfortable.

The deal between Slender and Hades has Toby and Nico stay with each for six months of the year. The winter and spring with Hades, and the summer and autumn with Slender.

Nico and Will went through a pretty nasty breakup.

He pours himself into his work for Hades to distract from how numb he feels like, all the time.

Nico is very much trying to shield himself/lock himself away so he doesn't get hurt again. Usually either in the cabin or in the underworld.

Toby tends to be quite rude at times/takes things too far.

He also isn't consistent with his meds (as he tends to come off them when he goes on missions), which will be a hurdle for Nicoby to overcome.

Some slight Queen Charlotte vibes (Toby is kinda George coded ngl).

Nat and Leo have met and are kinda awkwardly crushing before Nico and Toby meet (because hey).

Their marriage is very much a political one at first. Mostly just to try and keep Slender as a powerful figure in the creeps' society/underrealm.

It will very much be a story of them trying to find a way to break out of a deal they didn't want in the first place - and then them finding love when they didn't expect it.

If you have any ideas for it, please let me know. As I am struggling atm, but definitely coming along.

Fun fact: This ship has been a thing since 2015!

I got into this ship around early 2022 MAYBE even earlier around late 2021(???) due to this fic called “Nico and The Creepypastas” on AO3 and also huge thanks to Ellie of course !!

NatLeo (Leo Valdez/Clockwork)

I actually wrote the first ever fanfic for them on AO3 under their ship tag!

Love them so so so much would be a power couple together too

Dazai is an absolutely smitten LOSER for her

IchiMono (Ichigo Kurosaki/Neito Monoma)

They’d genuinely be a badass couple together

I want my boy Neito to be giddy, flustered, and absolutely enamored by Ichigo

They’ve both got crazy drip too, and the opposite aesthetics make me go INSANE

Personally, I feel like they’d meet before Neito gets into U.A. (Before the entrance exams) they’d then start dating in secret but it’s just a secret to everyone at U.A. Since Neito is very private about his home life and stuff

I can imagine some of the Class 1-B kids making a quip about Ichigo being Kendo’s long lost older brother once they meet

Ichigo would be scary and intimidating too but he’s genuinely a sweetheart

SetsuDen (Setsuna Tokage/Denji)

Listen to me, both got sharp teeth, powers with some body horror stuff going on and they’ve also both got detached/split limbs

These two would meet pre-canon in an AU where Setsuna finds/meets Denji in an alleyway with Pochita (since he’s still homeless in this) and Setsuna’s still in middle school/junior high so pre-U.A.

They’d sneak around often and Setsuna (canonically a recommended student = MONEY) would bathe his ass like a dog and get him a new change of clothes

Denji and Pochita contract still happens so obviously he’s still Chainsaw Man in this but since this is in the MHA-verse CSM would be classified as a vigilante while Setsuna gets into U.A.

Denji doesn’t get groomed by Himeno, Makima, and Fumiko, in this too

Fuck it.

Genderfluid Natalie.

Headcanons below:

Natalie... didn't realise he was genderfluid until he was a bit older. He just always thought that people felt this way.

So, one day, after accidentally getting called "sir" while going out by himself, she realised...

...she didn’t hate it.

Anyway, Nat had a really big think about things.

And a lot of research, late calls with Doby and Toby, and a few pints of Ben and Jerry's later, she realised...

...he was genderfluid.

The first person he properly told was Leo. After all, she did want him to know. And he is straight (to her knowledge (he's actually demi)).

It resulted in a very big emotional speech, which ended with "and if you feel the need to leave me, I completely understand."

Leo - after a bit of thinking, and learning about what genderfluidity means - simply asked "So, it's a 2-for-1 deal?"

"...it's a 2-for-1 deal..."

"Rad."

So, now Leo has a boyfriend/girlfriend.

Anyway - when Natalie properly comes out, he cuts his hair. Shaves the sides of his head, and flops it over to one side.

He actually uses his hairstyles to try and reflect how he feels - masc or fem.

She also tells Toby pretty soon after Leo. He is her best friend after all.

The two have a cry and a cuddle. And Toby is really happy for him.

Nat probably wouldn't start Testosterone, but he would get top surgery/reduction. Doctor Smiley was more than happy to help her (plus, it gives Smile a free snack/j).

She definitely steals Leo's clothes on masc days before she buys some of her own. His favourite thing to steal is Leo's suspenders. They give him so much gender euphoria.

Also, wearing a baggy hoodie is the best cure for his dysphoria. Nat has a blue, white, and orange one he stole from Toby a while back.

Natalie probably wouldn't change her name.

She'd just go by Nat on her masc days - just because it's shorter/sharper.

But, yeah.

Tldr? Genderfluid Natalie, baybee!

okay okay i saw how you said that heroes of olympus happens but differently (obviously) so would that mean that the seven and other demigods get to meet the proxies?

well besides Toby since he’s just Nico’s personal bodyguard so he gets to follow the ghost king everywhere he goes.

and also, Leo being awkward around Nico and terrified of Toby absolutely sends me which makes me wonder how on earth would Natalie and Leo even meet??

Does Toby just drag Natalie out to help accompany him and Nico on the entire heroes of olympus shebang or does Leo just randomly meet her out of the blue?

Sometimes, the proxies go to camp to drop stuff off for Hazel, that she forgot in the Underworld.

Like, Masky coming up with a hoody she had left behind, and everyone's kinda intimidated by this guy because he literally works for the god of the underworld... and the only one that isn't scared is Hazel, who treats him like an uncle.

And the idea I have is that Nat came with, because she doesn't really care. She's just here as a casual observer.

Some random proxy of Hades hcs I've got!

Nat has vitiligo.

He's also half first nation on her mother's side.

He has bpd as well (and really struggles at times).

Hoodie is a proxy of Persephone, and her most trusted attendant; he serves her and cares for her garden even when she isn't there.

Masky is a proxy of Hades, and his most loyal/devoted follower.

The two of them are married (very soft, very sweet).

Toby sounds like Evan Peters (him as quicksilver in dofp, specifically).

Toby watches old Star Wars VHS tapes every Hanukkah.

Toby once had a fish.

Once.

He knows how to use a variety of weapons.

Nico has a library in his room, with massive filled shelves of books.

He has a rapier that he learned to use (not very well).

Leo is basically like Gomez Addams with Nat (while Nat is an emotionally constipated mess).

He's very careful with how he touches her. Not wanting to trigger her.
