Im imagining that right after that beautiful scene took place, they all end up in a puppy pile on Aki and Kakashi’s living room floor. Just piled on top of each other in a mess of flowing silks, strong limbs, and hair.

Maybe they allow themselves to completely relax for the first time in years, with each other’s scents in the air and chakra wrapped around them like a blanket.

Oh 100%.

The three of them find a premium stretch of carpet, sun warm and soft from years of them all fighting over this one space, and fall in a tangle of limbs and silks and hair u til they didn’t know where one of them ended and the other two began.

Naruto finds his head pillowed on Sakura’s stomach and Sasuke sprawled over his legs with Aki laughing with Anko and Orochimaru in the kitchen and Kakashi nearby pretending to read while his eyes scanned the three of them on the floor, and finally after two and a half years feels like he can breathe again. At long last he is home. He is safe. If he looked out the open window he would see the familiar red lanterns of the district waving gently in the breeze.

He releases the last of the tension he didn’t know he was holding, one hand tangling in Sasuke’s long hair even as he turned his face into Sakura’s stomach as he lets out a shaky and too wet laugh.

After all this time of being so busy, of going from one mission to the next, of the training, of never stopping moving, it finally hit him how much he had missed this. Missed them.

His family.

“I love you guys,” He laughs through the tears, muffled by Sakura’s stomach.

Her nails, kept short and neat for the hospital, scratch at his scalp and Sasuke cups the delicate bone of his ankle, the closest thing he could grab.

“We love you too,” Sakura says with a sniffle.

i just need y'all to know that naruto made friendship bracelets for him & kurama. it took a while to get the fox to agree to wear it but, when he finally did naruto was really happy and now he won't let the demon take it off. both the bracelets are orange, black and white and say "best / friends" on each one respectively.

It was a beautiful night, the skies coats of black being clear, showing off the beautiful dazzling lights from the stars above.  Being dragged from his depths of sleep by his sleep paralysis once more, Kyosuke had decided to go out for a wake to clear his mind, the soft blue blanket round his shoulders covering him from the faint breeze. He should have expected to find Naruto somewhere down the line. The Uchiha could help but feel a swell of pride whenever he saw his friend nowadays. He was so, so proud of him. He’d come so far, they both did. And now here they were. When offered the edge, the Uchiha was quick to snuggle up with the blonde, which was honestly nothing out of the ordinary. He and Naruto nearly shared the same affection levels, much to Sasuke’s dismay.  “You know, same old. Sleep paralysis decided to bite me in the ass tonight. Did wanna bother Daria, so I just decided a stroll would be nice.” He said with a chuckle. Thankfully, the sleep paralysis had become more tame from when he was younger, primarily starting to slow down after the war. He could actually get some proper sleep nowadays. “What about you, Mr famous shinobi?” The Uchiha teased lightly. “What are you doing up so late?”

Do you think Naruto would spend a lot of time with his fox summons after he leaves jiraiya? Because if he does, just think of the foxy!Naru possibilities!!!

Like most animals, foxes feed their young until they’re old enough to take care of hunting for themselves. But food/eating , in general, is probably a major way that Naruto shows he cares. So just imagine Naru-sensei suddenly finding himself hunting big game and later that day dropping a whole ass bison at his gremlins feet like smug cat.

Oh yeah once Naruto gets the Fox Summons contract he'll spend a lot of time with them, far more than he ever did/does/will with the Toads for all that he does still care for them.

The Foxes are something that are, in Naruto's opinion, his in a way that the Toad Summons aren't.

For example, when he's on the move after leaving Jiraiya's side, Naruto doesn't summon the Toads at all because he knows that if he does they will rat him out to Jiraiya.

Their loyalty is not to Naruto. Or, to be more accurate and fair, their loyalty is not only to Naruto.

The Fox Summons ends up being different.

There are no other summoners, no one to cause the Fox Clan to have split loyalties. If anything they double down on their loyalty to Naruto because of Kurama.

So that extra closeness to the Fox Summons impacts other parts of Naruto's life. From him embracing a bit more of his instinctual side to the act that, instead of a Toad Sage, he becomes a Fox Sage instead.

Which will, of course, end up impacting how he interacts with his team when he gets them.

I feel like it depends on the severity of the infraction. Like some general bad vibes gets them over charged while something like trying (I say trying because there is always an auntie or Aki himself close at hand to pull Naruto out of the way) to hit Naruto causes a permanent ban from all services if the offender doesn’t find themself having an… accident
